The Morton Arboretum, established in 1922 by Joy Morton, is a sprawling 1,700-acre nature preserve in Lisle. It boasts an impressive collection of over 4,100 tree species and 222,000 plants. Visitors can explore the diverse landscape through 16 miles of trails or hop on the Acorn Express tram for a guided tour. The arboretum also features outdoor art exhibitions and larger-than-life garden sculptures that add to its serene and meditative atmosphere.
I've been a member AMD have going here for yrs. I love all the events that they provide throughout the yr. I enjoy walking though the Arboretum it's so peaceful and enjoy finding the Artwork from different artists through out the years. Everyone who works there are so friendly and helpful. I recommend going if you enjoy nature. They have a cute area for kids and a hedge maze. I enjoy bringing family and friends from it of town here when they come to visit.
Teressa C — Google review
This a gorgeous place to visit! So much land to cover. Lots of beautiful flowers and trees. Path ways are clear. Lots of places for picnics. It's fun to search for the structures throughout your journey! My cons about this place are the reason why I gave 3 stars. The tram train was not running...I feel a discount should have been given because that was the 1 thing I was looking forward to doing there. Secondly, we met friends there and our friends didn't enter the park until after 5pm...the park closes at sunset which was 7:10pm the day we went. So they paid 25.00 each person for about an hour and a half of being able to visit. Just thinking it would be ideal to offer a half price rate on entry for the last 2 hours they are open. You can barely drive through the property in an hour and a half. The east side has the beautiful sunset by the water and that is really pretty. I'd go back only if I had the whole day to spend there because 25.00 a person for a couple hours is a bit steep.
Jen M — Google review
This was our first experience with the park. The wait time to enter the park on a really nice weather was around 20 minutes. Then it took another 10 minutes to find a parking space. The park is huge and offers a lot of attractions for kids. Tens of miles of trails for walkers or bike riders. A huge pavillion with a place to sit down and get a refreshement. A nice kids garden and a large maze for everyone. I liked everything about it. The price of admission for non-members is significant. It is better to become an annual member.
Artur C — Google review
The Arboretum was just what I needed—time in God’s presence surrounded by His creation. The trees are so tall and majestic, it felt like walking through a living cathedral of nature. It’s a very large park with so much to explore—you can drive through, walk, or bike ride on the many trails. They even have a bike rental area, beautiful gardens, and peaceful lakes. Truly a place to rest, reflect, and reconnect with God through the beauty of His handiwork.
Dalinda N — Google review
Loved it there, a lot of fun for kids. Loved the labyrinth and there was also a Spanish legacy day and music played everywhere. Huge territory, loved that they have it organised, so you can drive to different locations and enjoy beautiful views on fields with trees and bushes.
Юлия Ч — Google review
A glorious fall day, we hiked a couple miles to a stand of gorgeous maple trees. There is a map and trail signs to help you find your way. The visitor center is large and accommodating with a small take out restaurant and lots of outdoor seating. There are also fanciful scattered statues of animals.
Lynn E — Google review
A beautiful place to visit with the kids. The children's garden has a lot of activities. The maze was the most fun and not too difficult. Tram tours are a good idea especially if you are there for the first time since it's a huge place.

One of the most beautiful places to visit. They always have unique events, themes and activities throughout the year!!! You can walk numerous trails or take a picturesque drive in your car across the beautiful landscape.

The garden features activities suitable for toddlers, including climbing structures and sensory options like water play and digging in the dirt. Lovely children’s garden inside of Morton arboretum Has a hedge maze which is very cool! Make sure to take a photo before going in, if you get lost there’s a nice viewing spot to find your way out. Plenty of room for kids to roam and explore, plenty of interactive climbing and slides Plenty of room to explore!

Nice children's learning and play areas inside Morton's arboretum. I think this is the main highlight of the arboretum especially if you have small kids. Lots of cool play areas and things to get them interested in nature and trees.
Dr. B — Google review
This is highly worth the visit. It's a large area and my toddler had fun exploring at his own pace. There's a ton of activities to do. He loved doing the ropes and bridge courses, and playing with the ponds and mud boxes. We will definitely be back.
Ynna C — Google review
Great space for children to explore and play! Many different sensory options, from slides, to digging in the dirt, to water play, there is plenty to entertain all ages for hours. Very nice grounds that are well-kept. Friendly staff.
Jess E — Google review
One of the best features of the Morton Arboretum. The kids can play here in nature for hours and hours. We try to go at least once a week when it's nice out. Great water features and an awesome new ropes course. Highly recommend.

It is so beautiful and fun. Our son is autistic, so it was a challenge and we had a meltdown too. Overall a good time. It was our first visit. The trails seemed to be a better for my son. Quieter.

We love the children's garden even when we don't have young children anymore. It's a magical time when the tadpoles arrive. It is such a beautiful and safe place for children to be outside in nature with their family and friends, the frogs. We also love the walk to the pines.

Dragonfly Landing

Park
Dragonfly Landing is a charming children's play area located in PrairieWalk Pond, featuring a nature-themed playground, splash pad, and a shelter with a green roof. It's an ideal spot for families to enjoy outdoor activities and picnics while observing the local wildlife. The park also hosts a small Farmers Market during the summer months. Visitors can explore downtown Lisle nearby and take advantage of the various amenities such as benches, picnic tables, and even a little library exchange.
Peaceful place to come for a walk or sit at one of the benches or picnic tables and watch the wildlife. There’s also a splash park (not this year due to the closures), playground, grassy area for playing or picnic-ing, and one of those “take a book leave a book” little libraries. I saw a small wedding take place in one of the pavilions as well. During the summer there is a small Farmers Market adjacent to the park. Just off of Main Street and worth checking out.

Very cute splash pad and playground. Had a few benches and a gazebo with tables for the adults. Very cute little water play area with 5-10 different water features.

We love this little park My child has a fun time every visit. This time it was full of cicadas and kids were thrilled to chase them and save them from the water 😂
IllinoisRealtor ( — Google review
Nice park and splash pad, and it's free. It can be a little tough to get to the parking area, as the road seems to be blocked frequently. Lot has limited spaces, and the park can get crowded. Really fun place for the kiddos and in a great location.
Kelly H — Google review
I've been coming to this park for years. It's a great place to hang out on a nice summer day. The fountains make it very peaceful, and there's also a nice gazeebo in the park too in case you want to have a meal with friends or just take a break from the sun. Also, there's a playground nearby too, for anyone with kids.

Get place for Birthday party. What's different about this place to other jump places is we had two wonderful employees who host the activities. They do it all from coats, to cake, to getting the kids from one event to the other. Parents get to enjoy the party too, instead of doing the work. These ladies served the kids, pizza, drinks, cupcakes, etc. They were happy smiling make it a great time for kids. Each party gets private time in the jump areas so instead of sharing the space with open jump time it's just your party. This makes it the perfect place to have a party. Between private jump rooms, rock climbing, etc wonderful party host I can't imagine going anywhere else. It is worth the expense.
MebytheSea — Google review
In the pantheon of pump it ups, this one is higher up on the list. Newer equipment (as of Jan 2018), good diversity in inflatables, and lots of extra space. Service for parties wasn't as well oiled as others we've attended, but that might have just been lick of the draw with the team we had that day.
Shawn J — Google review
Went here for a birthday party Saturday April 6th, 2019. The two rooms were very fun, I only wonder how often they’re sanitized. The two party hosts were nice. However they started to zone out as we went into the second room and one of them I saw on their phone a few times. Then came the food which is why I gave 3 stars. And our hosts were nice, the pizza was warm and great. The issue came with the cake cutting, the hosts began to cut the cake and they basically ruined the cake. They used small plastic fork knives, instead of cake cutters. Why couldn’t we cut the cake ourselves? They made a nice designed cake subpar. That was very disappointing. The host cutting the cake had a rough attitude and was not wearing a Pump it up t shirt she had a grey hoodie. They weren’t wearing gloves either. 👎🏽

We loved this Pump It Up! Very big with lots to do for my 1.5 year old, 4 year old and their 6 year old friend. We will be back!
Katy H — Google review
My girls love coming here for birthday parties and open jump. Our experiences with the staff has always been positive and at one point I was even floored by how well two of the party staff members handled a group of 4 and 5 year olds so well, that I spoke to the manager to sing their praises. I find the parties to be well run and efficient. The facility seems to be kept up well and seems pretty clean to me. There's is a lot to do for a wide range of ages.
Julia S — Google review
The first time I threw my child's birthday party at this specific location was in March 2018. Overall, the experience there was amazing. We loved it so much we decided to throw his party there again this year, March 2019. My overall experience was horrible. The service there wasn't nearly as good as when I previously went. You can definitely tell the hosts were not prepared. When we entered the party room, the room wasn't clean. We were also missing utensils. They where showing another family's pictures on the tv slide show. I even asked the lady who was at the front desk if there was a change in management, for something felt different. She had told me that there was a change of owners. Then she gave me my code for the pictures that I purchased which allows me to download them within a certain time limit. Fast forward a month later after the birthday party, I was trying to access my pictures online with the cold and was unable to. I called, and the lady I spoke to repeated the code for me to see if I entered wrong. She also tried the code herself. We both were unsuccessful to retrieve the pictures. She told me there is nothing she can do on her end and recommended me to call corporate. I tried contacting corporate, but they never responded to my phone call. Now I have no pictures to look back on for my son's birthday for this year. Honestly, I am upset, and I nor my family who attended would not recommend this place to anyone.
Lizset L — Google review
Loved this place! We went for a 6th bday party. The school aged kids loved it, as well as my toddlers. Lots of fun for all ages. There are multiple rooms with different bounce houses, there is also a rock climbing wall. Was clean and well run! I am sure this will become a go-to, especially during winter.

Pump it up is a great local place to have a birthday party. We recently attended one at this location and our kids loved it. The attendants were attentive, helpful and everything moved like clockwork. I would recommend for this application if you are looking for something in the Lisle area.

Bar
NWB Next Whiskey Bar Lisle is a contemporary establishment that offers a wide range of whiskey and cocktails, along with American and international pub cuisine. The venue features TV screens for entertainment. Upon visiting on a Monday afternoon for Valentine's Day, customers noted some shortcomings in terms of the staff's knowledge about the flight menu and lack of information regarding food and drink options. The atmosphere was described as particularly quiet, requiring patrons to speak softly amongst themselves.
Stopped in on a nice sunny Saturday for dinner. The food was amazing, our server was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. I would recommend the SW chicken egg rolls and the spicy margarita ( if they still have it!)

Tried this place on a Saturday night with my husband. We started off with Old Fashioned and Nojito. The drinks were amazing. We then had cheese curds for starters which were delicious and super fresh. For main course we had Black Bean Burger with Tomato Basil Soup and NWB Burger with Mac & Cheese. The food was tasty and served hot. Our server was super sweet, warm and attentive. The ambiance was decent. I would highly recommend this place! MUST TRY!!

Really great food! We had the trio appetizer and it was amazing! 3 fresh housemade dips. Absolutely delicious. Burgers are great as well! Highly recommend it!

This was the first time that I’ve been to this restaurant. It was amazing. The bloody Mary’s were out of this world. The server and bartenders were really nice. They have a great energy. I really enjoyed my meal.
Jenn H — Google review
Mule was good, Brussel sprouts were great, but the pork poutine? Doesn't work. There's no cheese curd, just melted cheese, the gravy tastes more like an au jus, and the Giardiniera doesnt really work with it. Didn't see my server much either but at least the food didnt take long

Nice place and as you can imagine great liquor selection. The draft beers were good. We tried the truffle fries, very tasty. A nice low key visit. Will be back for more.

Been coming here for years. Love the burgers especially and the side salad is a favorite with just a bit extra with radish, shredded carrots and mixed greens. The salads are large and filling, the Mac and cheese very comforting. Delicious cocktails and lots of variety. Keep it up and we will be back!

The Bavarian Lodge is a cozy pub-like establishment known for its wide variety of craft beers and hearty German cuisine. The menu offers classic, mouth-watering German dishes that have received rave reviews from patrons. The selection of draft beers is impressive, making it a great place to visit the bar before settling down for dinner. One highly recommended dish is the schnitzel, but there are plenty of other delicious options available.
Was in the mood for some good German food while staying out in Oak Brook. Tracked down the place and gave it a shot. The atmosphere was amazing, service was excellent and the food was awesome! I absolutely enjoyed my Wiener schnitzel and my server was able to make this happen…1 fillet chicken and 1 pork. My spatzle was tasty and the sauerkraut was delicious. My friend got the sauerbraten and was very satisfied. If you’re in the area and looking for some great German food with a wonderful atmosphere to eat in, then come out and support this local gem. I highly recommend it!
Mark J — Google review
Fantastic place! My server was friendly, knowledgeable, and on point. I had the Braumeister's Platter with a side of sauerkraut and could only finish half. Everything was delicious. Finished with some Raspberry Kolachky. My only issue was parking. There's a very limited parking space, which was packed even at around 7pm, but there's additional parking next door. They have a small souvenir selection, but sadly they don't do growlers anymore. Overall a wonderful experience, atmosphere, food, and service. Highly recommended.
Kim K — Google review
Three generations of our family went there for mother's day. They don't take reservations so be prepared to wait. Since there were six of us I expected a wait. There seemed to be an endless line of people going in and coming out. Once we were seated the wait staff took care of us immediately. There was no wait for drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Our main coarses were also served without delay. For the most part the food was excellent except for the dish I ordered, the pork shank. It was a little more on the fat side than I had expected. I have had the same dish in Germany and have not encountered this issue.
George M — Google review
I can not say enough good things about this restaurant! The service was top notch... quick, personable, efficient. The atmosphere was a great old world feel & the food was German comfort food.. a solid win all the way around. I will be returning next time I pass through! I would have posted more picks, but my mind went into eating mode instead of sharing. Maybe next time... lol
Michael L — Google review
Fantastic food and very extensive beer and Meade list. Service was excellent too. Sort of loud here but the conversation was still able to continue with elevated voices. I had the 4 meat German Platter. Delicious and got to try more foods. Our table ordered the duck and someone ordered the pork shank. That was the best out of all of us. We shared the plates to sample everything. Portions are on the larger side. The liver soup was on point. Very good! The only meal that was a disappointment was the beef stroganoff. Maybe it was us that expected a different texture. It still tastes good but did not fit our mental image of what it should look like. Kids menu actually has lots of choices foe the kids! Thank you foe that! It was packed. Apparently we walked in on the 1st day of oktoberfest and they had tapped a real wooden keg too! It was awesome. Was told 45 minute wait. Ended up being 20 and we hit the bar for a pint of on tap as we waited. Looked the part and enjoyed the German style atmosphere. They have a winner here and I can see why it gets great reviews. Thanks for a good time and delicious meal!
Brian R — Google review
One of my favorite places on earth! 1 BIG negative is that they have over 40 beers on tap and they do NOT allow you to have tasters. Great beers that you can only find here and great food. A little over priced but quality is top notch! The list of German and central European beers is exceptional and they always have the seasonal beers. Food is a great variety of German and Central European choices.

They have a very good selection of draft beer. Food is decent and service is great. We went there on a Sunday and it was really busy. We would go back and try more beer and more food

The spritzel accompanying the duck dish lacked flavor and was excessively salted. My husband found his meal to be satisfactory. While the ambiance was pleasant, the overall experience did not justify the cost. The waiter forgot to refill our drinks and forgot my husband's birthday dessert as well. Will not be returning

Dunkin' is a well-established café that offers its famous breakfast specialties and an assortment of coffee beverages. It serves as the sole dining option near the hotel for out-of-town visitors. While it may not have been their intended lunch destination, patrons have found it to be a pleasant experience with attentive and amiable staff members. Customers have had the opportunity to leisurely converse post-meal without feeling any pressure to hurry.
Came here for an Iced tea. Staff was friendly. Easily seen from road. Has drive through service. Outside seating available. Located on 1st floor. High chairs available as well as tables. Pepsi products also sold in cooler. Was clean and bright.

I ordered ahead, took me 5 min to get there. My sandwich and coffee were warm at best. Cashier was very disconnected & was more interested in conversing with his coworkers than providing service, I had to ask for napkins and my receipt . When I went to get a sip of my coffee, all I can smell was the server’s cologne. Had to remove the lid. Not a good experience overall!

Occasionally I would stop in for coffee and a doughnut. It’s a Dunkin’ location so it’s pretty much consistent with every other location however the customer service lacked so much so on my last visit I decided to create a review. My experience was very subpar at best. The expression on the employees face followed by “no coffee” gave an unpleasant aire I decided to match to assumption of not wanting anything thought I intentionally walked in seeking one or more of their menu offerings.

She was attentive, patient, kind, and always made us feel heard and supported throughout the entire planning process. Her professionalism and warmth really made the experience smooth and enjoyable. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking—the scenery provided the perfect backdrop for our big day. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful everything was! On top of that, the food was AMAZING—delicious, beautifully presented, and enjoyed by everyone. Our day-of coordinator was also fantastic. She took charge when needed and made confident decisions that kept everything flowing perfectly. Her presence allowed us to relax and just enjoy the day, which we truly appreciated. Overall, our wedding day was perfect—stress-free, joyful, and so memorable. We can’t thank the team at Seven Bridges enough for helping us celebrate such a special moment in our lives!

Had my bridal shower here today & everything was wonderful! The day went so smoothly & the location was beautiful. We did brunch, and all the food I tried was delicious. I would definitely recommend Seven Bridges for a shower!

My wife and I spent some time researching venues for our baby shower and ended up going with the Seven Bridges Golf Course. I have golfed here many times over the past few years and heard great things about their wedding receptions, so knew that it would also be a great choice for a baby shower with friends and family. We booked our date about four months in advance and worked closely with the event coordinator, Róisín Daly who was outstanding throughout the entire process from start to finish. She provided a thorough checklist of how to prepare for the event, along with the materials they provide and anything additional we would bring. On the day of our shower, Róisín, Jennifer and Martin were all available to help us set up and ensure that the serving staff followed the timing of our schedule. The Gallery room was the perfect size for 60 of our guests, offering scenic views of the 1st and 10th holes of the golf course. Everyone raved about the presentation and quality of the food, from the appetizers to the beautifully plated main course. Following dessert, we had a couple hours to play some games, mingle, and enjoy ourselves. Our experience was truly seamless, with great communication from Róisín and a perfectly executed event by their entire staff. Our guests had a wonderful time and the feedback was extremely positive. We would highly recommend this venue if you're looking for a classy event with friends and family, I can assure you we will be hosting more with them in the future. Thanks Róisín and team! Best, Charlie & Kristine

Roisin and her staff were absolutely amazing from the day we toured the venue all of the way through to the day after when picking up our decor. They made the whole process stress free and were very accommodating when we changed a few details after final submission. The day of the wedding started out as a disaster as far as the hotel and shuttle service were concerned neither of which had anything to do with Seven Bridges. So when I showed up at the venue I was in a full out panic. Jen and Ryan and the rest of the day-of staff saw this and were very professional and made sure to calm me for my big day. They made a horrible situation turn into a beautiful day. All of the guests raved about the ceremony site, the dining room, dance/bar room and of course the food. We chose to have the steak and chicken duet. They were absolutely amazing! Those who had the salmon and those that chose the pasta were also very impressed. The late night pizza also tasted great! They were asking where it was delivered from. They were shocked when they found it was made in-house. The cake was beautiful and delicious too. We are so glad we had our Big Day with Seven Bridges. They made our special day unforgettable. Roisin and her staff are the best in the business and the maker of lifetime memories. My bride and I can’t stress enough how much we recommend having your special day here. Seriously, you will not be disappointed.

Had the best wedding day ever! I was a little nervous since I live in Las Vegas but Rosin made planning fun and easy, which you never hear from any brides. Martin and Jen and all the staff were truly amazing. I wish I could relive the day over and over . You always hear things that go wrong after the wedding and I have not heard or noticed one thing that went wrong . Will recommend this place to anyone

it was absolutely perfect. From the very beginning, the team made the planning process smooth and stress-free. The venue itself is stunning — from the elegant décor to the beautifully kept grounds, it created the most romantic atmosphere for our special day. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran seamlessly. They were attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about making our day unforgettable. The food was another highlight — our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was! What stood out most was the personal touch. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, which allowed us to truly enjoy the moment without worrying about logistics. We can’t recommend seven bridges golf course enough to any couple looking for a wedding venue. It was everything we dreamed of and more. Roisin and her team were the best team. I will definitely go back for my anniversary celebration:) Areerat Potikul & Desiderio Benitez August 24,2025

The outdoor ceremony space is breathtaking—lush greenery, charming footbridges, and beautifully maintained grounds made for the most stunning photos. Every corner of the venue is picture-perfect. The staff is incredible—always friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful from day one. And the food? Absolutely delicious! If you’re looking for a venue that combines natural beauty, top-tier service, and fantastic food, Seven Bridges is a perfect choice. Highly recommend!

Nestled in the charming town of Lisle, the West Suburban Sports Complex stands out as a premier destination for youth sports training. This state-of-the-art facility serves as the official training ground for both the Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox, offering young athletes access to cutting-edge technology and coaching methods used by these professional teams. With three beautifully maintained maple courts—including a center court that mirrors the iconic Bulls' court at the United Center—this complex is designed to elevate player development.
Nice facility! Has plenty of sitting area. Concession stand. No cards accepted. Only venmo, zelle or cash. Parking is all around the building. Has three courts to play games.

Nice place for training or tournaments. Smaller side with 3 basketball courts, had a small food counter for pizza, popcorn and other snacks. Cool waiting area of stadium seating.

This is our relatively new, AWFUL neighbor. The only way to get to this facility is through our Riverbend neighborhood. Cars consistently SPEED through and park in our guest spots. I’ve almost been hit walking my dog twice in the past 16 months. We have children who play and ride their bikes through our small subdivision and I fear that one of them will be hit. A few of our HOA members have tried to talk to the management. When I went to ask them to help us create a safer more respectful space I was met with rudeness and arrogance. I was told that it wasn’t their problem. We have had to contact the county because they do NOT clean up from their patrons who throw garbage wherever. It blows into the ponds we have and makes it’s way into the branch of the DuPage River. The actual building itself was well maintained when run by the previous occupants, but now it’s becoming an eye sore. It’s embarrassing to Lisle, the Arboretum Village. I hope that in the future, the management will become willing to work with/be respectful that their business runs right through our small neighborhood.

I wish I could give more stars but this overpriced place an extremely far at least for me to pay almost a 1000 dollars an then drive 1 hour an half 3 days a week to find out that they actually let anyone who pays on the team in fact trying out is a senseless! You pay you play !!! Then they it kids who are in 5 grade in with 8 th just because they parent works there not fair to my son or the team !!! Then to let the 4 or 5 th grader get more play time then the actual 8 th graders is overwhelming sad !!!! Don’t waste your money it’s not worth it ever since the head guy passed away it all went downhill.

Parking situation is horrible. I will not sign my kids up to return here again due to this. Many other facilities in the area offer a better setup for parents to watch and have adequate parking.

Place was probably nice when it first open, but now is a total dump. Hey here’s idea clean the bathrooms once in awhile!! Also, please hire a maintenance person as many items need to be fixed……Scoreboards, seats, holes in walls. I could go on. The place also charges $8 bucks to get in with no seniors discount. Ridiculous . Hope we don’t have to play here again.

What a blast! My son and I had an awesome, memorable experience together. The number of participants was very controllable and allowed each participant to have extended time at each station that was set up. Being on a major league field doing baseball activities was something I had always wanted to do, but never had a chance. I will definitely participate in this event again next year, so please make it happen!

This used to be a great summer basketball camp. It was well-run, organized and effective in coaching young players. Unfortunately, now it is more like glorified babysitting. No coaching/instruction individual children or teaching them how to improve. Some campers with poor behavior/ sportsmanship were not corrected. Children that came in with big dreams and a great love for basketball told that they aren't good enough. Who does that to a child? Save your time and money. This place is all hype now.

At Escape Story Escape Room, adventure awaits as you dive into thrilling scenarios that challenge your wits and teamwork. Picture this: a group of eight eager first-timers embarks on an exhilarating journey through the Indiana Jones room, where they face intricate puzzles and clever clues. With a friendly host named Dan guiding them, the atmosphere is filled with excitement and camaraderie.
Celebrated my birthday last night with a group of friends by playing the Indiana Jones Escape Room... 4 out of 6 of us had never done an escape room before, and it was a challenging one... Dan said a 15% escape rate! But we cleared it with just 5 mins to spare! It was so exciting, and it was a challenge! I really loved the theme, the decor, and the set up of the entire adventure. Dan was amazing , and I love this company. I've done the Sherlock room too, and you can't get a better set up with more interesting puzzles for a price so low. Check it out! Highly recommend.
Clare C — Google review
Had an absolute blast doing the Indiana Jones room! I've had the pleasure of already doing both the current Sherlock Holmes room and previous Area 51 room, but Indy was my favorite by far. It was tough, but not impossible. My family and I have done a lot of escape rooms, and we were iffy about whether or not we'd make it out, but we made it out with about 6 minutes left! Huge props to both Dan and Bryan for being excellent game masters and giving great clues when we asked for them. I can't recommend the place enough and I'll be back when they open their next room. (They promised me it would have a female lead! :) )

We have been going to Escape Story for the last 1 1/2yrs and have tried 3 of their rooms. Area 51, now Indiana Jones, and Sherlock Holmes. Each of the rooms followed their stories and were appropriately challenging. We made it out of 2 of the 3 rooms with only four of us. We really appreciated Dan our "Guide" he was friendly, informative and even remembered us on each of our subsequent visits. He made us feel right at home! We look forward to the next escape room they introduce. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends.

Went here with my wife, sister and brother in law. We did the Sherlock Holmes room and were able to escape with time to spare. The setup was great, and the clues were very creative. Dan was a solid host and did a great job keeping us going on the right direction. Overall, one of the best escape rooms I’ve been to. Would highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back and try the Area 51 room.

My family and I went to Escape Story last Friday and escaped from the Indiana Jones room. It was a great challenge, one of the best escape rooms we've done so far. Dan and Nancy were great hosts, helpful, and all around nice. Dan did a wonderful job of setting us up with the background story of the room. After we escaped, Nancy took the time to answer a few questions we had about the clues in the room. All in all, we had a fun experience.
Jed R — Google review
Awesome experience! The rooms are set up really nice and you have to think and really work with your team. My group did both room and we could not finish Indiana Jones but Dan was really nice to explain everything to us which many people in other facilities don't do that. Dan is really awesome and friendly and really is there to make your experience better.

A group of 8 of us (all first timers) went on Saturday night. I pre-purchased 5 tickets and bought 3 more when we arrived. Also had a bday boy with us so he got his ticket for free. We did the harder of the two rooms, Indiana Jones. Our host DAN is the MAN! He was super friendly and made the experience more fun. We didn't escape, although we were pretty much one hard clue away from escaping. After our time was up, Dan came in and dropped a few extra clues so we could at least see what we were missing to escape. It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed Dan being our host. We would all return again to do the Sherlock room. Hoping they add/change the rooms in the future. Loved our experience! Thanks Dan!
Kari B — Google review
We've done all three rooms Escape Story has had and they're among our favorites. We successfully escaped the Indiana Jones room yesterday and it did not disappoint. They do a great job with incorporating technology into the rooms, so you're not just looking for keys and codes. Top notch! Kudos to Dan, our game master, who provided great clues and made it a fun experience!

Mexican restaurant
Yerbabuena Mexican Cuisine is a laid-back, two-story eatery with an outdoor seating area that offers a wide selection of Mexican dishes and alcoholic beverages like tequila cocktails. On my visit in mid-December, I was quickly seated by a friendly and enthusiastic hostess. The server was also amiable and knowledgeable about the menu, displaying a great sense of humor. Their tortilla chips were freshly made and the salsa had flavorful chunks of vegetables with just the right amount of spice.
The menu selection has a great selection of fancy authentic dishes. The drink list is just as fun. The food was delicious and the service was extremely attentive. We keep coming back and trying new dishes. The Paella Nicole is my favorite go to here!

Yerbabuena is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the western suburbs! The drinks are always delicious, and every item on the menu looks amazing — the shrimp tacos are to die for. The portions and quality make it a great value, and the service is consistently friendly and attentive. Our little ones love chatting with the staff, and the whole experience brings back memories of our favorite Mexican spots in California. Hope more people discover this gem!

Was a gorgeous day to sit outside and enjoy some drinks and appetizers, food was delicious. Ty to your staff service was great and attentive

While the restaurant has a great vibe with outdoor roof top seating, the food a drinks were just ok. My husband and I both had to send back our margaritas because they were so bad. The staff was super nice about it and accommodating but, we were pretty disappointed whereas we were hoping for a margarita. The food was ok.

My wife and I and our friends went to dinner here about 2 weeks ago. Up on the rooftop to celebrate my best friend's fiance's birthday. Lots of drinks, appetizers and lots of fun. Amazing drinks highly recommend the classic Cadillac Margarita, the most amazing nachos I've ever tasted!!! The atmosphere, the food and the service we're all five stars. Hands down I Highly highly recommend this beautiful restaurant which we will be going back very soon!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Fresh authentic Mexican dishes. Delicious!! Love the beer was served in a chilled glass! All dishes were prepared and service in a timely matter. Indoor seating or rooftop seating or outdoor seating as well! Fun atmosphere, Especially with outdoor seating. With outdoor seating, there are strong lights and each table has a solar disc that provides light at dark. Easy to find free street parking.
Siewyin Y — Google review
Explored Lisle downtown and found this highly rated Mexican resturant. Thought to give it a try. The place is great. They have an outside seating area as well as a terrace seating. We went to the terrace. They got us a bowl of chips and salsa. The chips were fresh, and however the salsa was pretty bland. To spice it up we ordered the extra salsa which had a lot more spice. Careful with those salsa as they can be very spicy. For drinks we ordered the mango Margherita and a beer. The mango Margherita didnt taste like it has any alcohol. It was a bit sweet. For the main course we ordered the salmon and beef tacos. Beef tacos were good. The salmon was not at all good. We didn't like it as it requires a bit more flavor. The servers were nice as well. It's an OK place to go if you are in the area.

Ordered the "Old man" dinner. Pot roast with veggies and cheesy mashed potatoes. Everything was really good, the gravy was just a bit too salty. Also the chicken wings here are super good. But overall very satisfied with the service & food.

This past weekend I threw a surprise party for my husband. I had submitted inquiries to several restaurants and some never responded but I heard promptly from Todd (owner) at Wheatstacks. I then met with Todd in person to go over the multiple options for food/beverage options. Todd was very helpful in recommending options that would give me the most bang for my buck. Days before the party, I could feel my stress level building because I wanted everything to be perfect. The minute we walked into the room, I knew I had chosen the right place. What a fun night and Todd was there, consistently checking with me to make sure things were going well. Our guest kept commenting on how beautiful the room was, how great the food was and the exceptional service I know some of our guests made inquiries about holding upcoming events there. Todd, thank you so much for all your attention to details and making it a memorable event. I feel awful because I can’t recall the names of the two young women who providing that exceptional service but please pass my thanks on to them. I would not hesitate to hold a future event at Wheatstack!
