Lake Geneva Public Beach

Public beach
Lake Geneva Public Beach is a popular destination in the Midwest, located in the small Wisconsin lakeside resort town of Lake Geneva. It has been a favorite vacation spot for families, friends, and couples for over a century. The beach offers clear waters and clean surroundings, making it an ideal place to spend time with family or friends. Visitors can enjoy activities such as swimming and sunbathing while taking in the beautiful lake views.
We had such a good time. For a small beach it’s got big personality. We were thankful to get there early enough to secure a spot. My advice would be to do the same. It gets busy and that’s understandable. Price to get in is $10/person for non residents, and $2/hour for parking. Such a deal!
Lesleigh W — Google review
Clean and quiet during winters when it's frozen. When the sun shines on frozen lake, it's just so different. Most of business and resorts open only post winters. It takes 2 hours from Chicago to reach. Nice drive. The town is peaceful with good vibe. Bars are plenty and with live music
Luv S — Google review
Another "not my first time here, but first Google Review" for this place! Haven't been here in 10 years but any given day and no heavy rain, this spot gets pretty packed - the Fourth of July was no exception. Visited on the actual Fourth of July around 4pm and there was good enough room to lay out, have a chair and umbrella posted. The bathroom area closes about 15-minutes before beach closure. There was a bit of rain prior to us heading here but still lots of folks, sand a bit wet, and a good amount of kelp. Whether you call this area "Lake Geneva Public Beach" or "Riviera Beach," it is always a relaxing time to sit back, enjoy rays, and people watch - in or out of the actual beach area.

We came and visited on Friday, August 15, 2025. It was a great little way to spend an evening after a long week and it wasn’t busy at all. $10 to enter but I really did have fun and it’s very pretty. It was my first time up in Lake Geneva in 5 years and I really enjoyed it. Will definitely be back in the 2026 season. (Written 8-25-25)

A very nice and clean beach for the price! It was $10 to enter and it was a fairly small beach, but it worked for our needs. Great way to spend a day :)
My V — Google review
Riviera Beach is beautiful, I highly recommend it , No grilling is allowed only across the street action from the visitor center, parking is three dollars an hour if you park close , you can park by the school and police station only on weekends, across from the police station parking lot there's another parking lot were you can park for free , but you have to walk farther. My favorite resale shop is Nine lives boutique, And Oak fire restaurant. You can go for a walk on the walking path and enjoy the beautiful flowers .

Super cute little beach with AMAZINGGGG icees. I’ve been craving flavored ice foreverrrrr and so glad I stumbled across this place. Super pretty views of lake Geneva
Judy C — Google review
Lake Geneva Public Beach is a fantastic spot for a summer day! The beach is well-maintained, clean, and offers stunning views of the lake and surrounding area. It's the perfect place to relax, soak up the sun, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. What makes this beach great is its accessibility and amenities. There's plenty of space to spread out, and the swimming area is clearly marked and safe. Lifeguards are on duty, providing an added sense of security for families with children. The nearby facilities, including restrooms and changing rooms, are clean and convenient. Beyond the natural beauty and practical amenities, Lake Geneva Public Beach offers a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're looking to swim, sunbathe, or simply enjoy a picnic by the lake, this beach has something for everyone. It's a must-visit destination for locals and tourists alike, easily earning a five-star rating!

Popeye's on Lake Geneva is a beloved, long-standing establishment offering picturesque lake views and a diverse menu featuring roasted meats, sandwiches, and seafood entrees. Since the 1970s, this iconic spot has been known for its rotisserie-based dishes such as free-range chicken, ribs, lamb, and pulled pork. With a large outdoor patio situated across from the Rivera building and Riviera Beach, it's a popular choice during the summer season.
Amazing view of the lake, wonderful waitress yesterday, large delicious portions! Had the lobster Brie flatbread which was 10/10 perfect. Loved the flowery touch 🌺 and overall nautical vibes of the place.

I have personally come here quite a few times over the last 10 years, and they have never disappointed. This particular time was especially great for a family girls trip. Food was on par, with no issues. Service and atmosphere as always was very welcoming. We sat inside as it was too windy out for a bunch of chatty women. Nice and quiet otherwise though. Our waiter was timely and very polite. I truly look forward to another visit soon!!
Jessalyn D — Google review
Lakefront dining at Popeye’s in Lake Geneva. Prime rib was about a 6 out of 10. A little tough. Asked for medium rare. I would call this medium. Prices were high. Soda is $5.00!! Busy day in Lake Geneva, lots of visitors. They are looking to change the restaurant name soon. Location is perfect, but food is not so great. Restaurant could use a little updating. Maybe they will after the name change. Bathrooms were not so great. Prices are too high for what you get. This place needs a little work.

Very busy but worth it! Great ambiance & delicious perch & chips as well as when in Wisconsin must-try cheese curds. Very good cocktail options. Our lovely server did an awesome job, but, my bad, can't recall her name now so including a photo of our check here so she can be recognized for outstanding service.
Teresa D — Google review
The greasiest food I've ever had! My friend and I got the artichoke dip and ruben rolls. The dip had a puddle of oil and chips tasted stale. The ruben rolls were so greasy we couldn't even eat them. $34 with tip for food we could even eat. Definitely wouldn't go here again or recommend this place unless you enjoy drinking grease.

Elec took great care of me while he was learning the ropes from the manager training him! Great conversation and great food! This is a rotisserie restaurant. I had the omg cheeseburger which was pretty good! The onion rings were awesome too. They do have outside seating overlooking Geneva Pier where the steamboats come in!
Daniel K — Google review
Absolutely love this place! The food is excellent the atmosphere is exactly what I would look for on a lake. And, the prices are very reasonable considering this is a tourist town.
Scott H — Google review
Enjoyed our view of the water. Our server went above our expectation. She was very attentive. Without asking, brought another knife, "see if this one is better." What? .....Kudos. Didn't have to ask for more water, just came over with the pitcher. I have no complaints about the food. We all enjoyed our meal. Had the pleasure of watching the rotisserie chicken walk.

Pizza restaurant
Oakfire is a charming lakefront bistro that has been serving American cuisine with Swedish and Midwest influences since 1985. This two-story restaurant specializes in wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas, along with offering salads, sandwiches, and gluten-free pizza crust options to complement their craft cocktails. Situated across from the lake and Rivera building, Oakfire provides a buzzing atmosphere for both lunch and dinner. The restaurant's prime location offers stunning views of Lake Geneva from its upper-level seating area.
This is a great spot for tasty food in an excellent location. Our group of six stopped by for lunch and was seated right away. They have a menu focused on pizza, but have other options as well. We tried the cheese curds and broccoli salad as well as one of their white pizza's. The cheese curds were unique without breading, but they were tasty. The pizza was delicious as well, and you could tell they use fresh dough. Our kids really liked the Mickey mouse pizza as well! Service was friendly and quick. Overall, this is a great spot for tasty food right across from the water!
Sam S — Google review
Great spot to grab some food with an outdoor patio overlooking the lake that is dog friendly. They don't take reservations so be prepared to wait if you want a spot on the patio. We highly recommend the cheese curds (5/5) and meatballs with burrata (5/5) is a must. We got the diviola di bufala pizza (5/5) and it was amazing, pretty spicy but great. They have a ton of wine, beer, and cocktails to choose from. This is a must go to place when you're in Lake Geneva.
Josh B — Google review
I can't get over their cheese curds! They are definitely the best! The Margarita pizza and the Pepperoni with that honey hint was absolutely delicious, the Capri sandwich is a must and the salads are amazing. For dessert we had the affogato and the angioletti, they didn't disappoint. Our server was so attentive, polite and very knowledgeable of the menu, he made sure we were happy with the food and made our evening more pleasant.

The location is uncanny, unbeatable and unmatched!! 🌊 The food is superb (the honey 🍯 pepperoni pizza was incredible!) The drinks are top notchhhhh (I tried the Queen 👑) Great service all around. We sat at the bar and got a spot right away!! Highly recommended! A true gem of Lake Geneva!! 🌅
Steven M — Google review
Excellent food and a full view of the lake. The service is very good, although since it’s pet-friendly there were a couple of uncomfortable moments when some pets got agitated and tried to fight while diners were enjoying their meals. Other than that, it’s a very beautiful and pleasant place. Definitely add it to your MUST list in Lake Geneva! 🌊✨
María F — Google review
Great ambiance close to the beach, with outdoor seating. But service was mediocre - drinks were not refilled, server didn't check back if we needed something and pizza was average at first they gave us the wrong pizza but that wasn't the big deal. The pizza that I got was the sopressata pizza in my opinion they went a little to light on the cheese and heavy on the arugula. One thing I really liked was that they drizzled honey on top which went really well with the spicy salami good flavor but I wouldn’t come back.
Hagz — Google review
Appetizers were amazing, pizza was to die for, and the dessert was a great ending to it all. The views and drinks in between were more than spectacular. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting a nice time with their spouse, family, or friends.
Derek P — Google review
Although a little on the expensive side the food was great and the atmosphere of the second floor lakeside dining was magnificent. I was dining solo on this adventure and I felt like service passed me by on a few occasions because of it. Overall I was impressed and would likely visit again.

Seafood restaurant
Barrique Bistro & Wine Bar is a charming lakefront spot offering a casual and relaxed setting with outdoor seating. Located next to popular eateries, it provides stunning lake views and a diverse menu featuring small plates, salads, soups, and charcuterie boards with vegan and gluten-free options. The bar offers wine, beer, whiskey, moonshine flights, and signature cocktails like the Hibiscus margarita.
I made a solo visit to Barrique while at a nearby resort craving good seafood. One peek at the menu and I was quickly on my way! I was shocked when walking up, all the other restaurants seemed too busy for anyone, but this one was right on the corner with doors wide open. I feel bad for those that had to wait for and miss out on the great experience ready at this Bistro! The bartender, Vita, welcomed me in, got the bottle of wine I requested, and immediately put in my food order then brought out my soup right after. As stated on the menu, this is not a fast food chain, so the food takes a little longer when cooked fresh, but it is well worth the wait. The Escargot came out pipping hot and was so delicious. I then ordered the crab cake sliders which were actually made with real crab and were so very delicious alongside my chips. I was shocked by the quality of these items as the menu prices were very reasonable! I'd like to thank Barrique, Vita, and her colleagues for welcoming me in and providing such great services and holding such amazing conversation. Thank you!

Shannon K was a wonderful server! She helped us decide on our dinner choices when I asked specific questions about my husband's dietary restrictions and my tastes. She was able to accommodate both! Great view of Geneva Lake and a wonderful selection of wine and delicious dishes!

My wife and I went here for her Birthday on 7/18/25 and we had a wonderful dining experience. The food was excellent. The escargot were absolutely amazing and the Lobster Roll....fuggitaboutit!! Fantastic. A special thank you to the staff for bringing a piece of the Limoncello Marscapone Cake for my wife's birthday. We will definitely be back!! I don't recall our servers name, on my receipt it just says "Dinner P" She was really great! She's actually in the background of the photo of my wife enjoying her cake.

Wonderful seafood bistro great cocktails and food. Loved the Sashimi Ahi fresh and great sauce. Seating inside or outside with great view of the lake. Will go again.
Joan T — Google review
We have only been here twice and only had wine with a chucherie board both times. But, really really enjoyed it. They have a lot to offer rather than just basic restaurant food. Plus, a good selection of drinks. The place is not real big but they do a good job and good business. We plan to make it a regular stop when we are in town.
Alan M — Google review
Went here for dinner, & like most places in Lake Geneva the biggest draw is the location, close to the lakefront we sat outside to watch the water. This place is a wine bar so it has a large selection of wines, but it also has other drinks & the cocktails were pretty good. As food goes it was good but not great, they serve small plates which i usually like but small plates/tapas are usually priced so you can try multiple, these are higher priced so its a good stop if you want something small & light, be prepared to spend a lot if you want to be filled. We started with the raw oysters on the half shell. They were VERY small but clean & fresh. I then got the salmon burger which must be a seasonal item but it was a disapointment, nothing but a patty made out of canned salmon. My SO got the Ahi steak which was done well and had nice flavors. Desert was very good & i dont think you can go wrong there, got the key lime cheesecake. Service was friendly but very slow.
Slaw Y — Google review
The food was meh. Escargot could use more herbs and less oil. The tuna steak was tasty, but no sear made me a little sad. The tuna sashimi also had a weird texture. I wanted to love this place but the food was disappointing

Really great experience and fun atmosphere! I had the battered cod and fries, and it was excellent. The server (can't remember her name, unfortunately) was incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this gem of a place!

The Food selection they have didn’t exceeded what we were expecting but it is good. The ambience is nice, we ate outside and feeling the good atmosphere. The server took a long time to to get back.
Hungry P — Google review
Nice middle of the road casual diner with seating outside with lake views. Grouper sandwich was good but needed mayo to make it better. BLT was just ok, not enough tomato and the bacon could have been crispier. Good if you are in the area. Wait staff were pleasant enough.
Burstock — Google review
We stopped here for lunch after a cruise. Should definitely have checked the reviews first - there are so many options in Lake Geneva for a bite and I’m sad we wasted a lunch here. My kiddo and I were super hungry and as we sat down we put our order in immediately. A salad and a burger. We waited 30 minutes for our food to come out. And it wasn’t because they were busy slaughtering the cow for a nice fresh burger patty. Our server was unprofessional - I wouldn’t say unfriendly, but very distracted and overly casual. After asking for the check, we waited another 15 minutes for it to arrive. When it did, our waitress informed us that she took a quick bathroom break. I really didn’t need to know that. I did see another server working her butt off with other tables so it comes down to how important staff is when you run a place.
Csilla F — Google review
Excellent fresh food choices, Ne Glarus beers on tap. Our Server was very attentive.
Michelle C — Google review
TLDR: Food was not great, sent back a “hot” sandwich that was cold to the touch, owner became confrontational. I fully expected Gordon Ramsay to come up behind us with the Kitchen Nightmares film crew. We got drinks, got a cracked glass but no problem. Server was nice but entered my wife’s food wrong, so my burger came out about 10 minutes before my wife’s grouper sandwich. My “award winning” burger was the stereotypical tasteless frozen patty. I expected food to be not great as it’s a tourist spot and the view is great so realistically expectations met so far. My wife’s grouper sandwich came out cold to the touch. When she sent it back the owner came out and became confrontational. Saying the roll is refrigerated but it should be hot on the inside. It was all cold. We literally said we will pay for it just toss it and give us the check. He continued to argue. Said he couldn’t throw away food because of a complaint like that. Okay sir are you forcing us to eat a cold fish sandwich? THE OWNER. Combing through I see a lot of reviews saying they don’t normally review but had to after such a negative experience. I am the same. Owner deserves every negative review he gets and probably more. The view is great. The service is okay. The food is terrible. The owner is even worse. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
DeathByCWG2 — Google review
Where do I even begin?! I NEVER write reviews, but if I can help just one person avoid what we just went through, then here it goes. Location is great. That is all. Pizza was inedible, think English muffin with plastic cheese on top. Because we all took a bite to say how gross it was, the waitress said they couldn’t take it off the bill. But that wasn’t the worst of it. They then overcharged us by $70! Tried to pull the oh just put your card in this great machine we have. No bill given. Only noticed when handed the machine to add the tip. Then after “fixing” the bill, (“oops that was for another table…”) they charged us for 7 soft drinks when we got 2. Please avoid this place. But if you go, be sure to get a receipt.
Jess B — Google review
I’ll be honest, as a business owner I hate leaving reviews but I was really disappointed by this place. I asked for a meal that came with a side of rice, the side was 2 ounces. 2 ounces! That’s a spoon full of rice like a baby spoon at most. Why event bother offering rice as the side? Rice is the least expensive food to make. For a restaurant with great location you can honestly tell they don’t give a hoot about quality. They are mostly relying on their location. Sad. Definitely wouldn’t go back.

Geneva Chophouse is an upscale steak and seafood restaurant located in the Grand Geneva Resort and Spa, offering stunning lake views and a cozy atmosphere. It has been recognized for its exceptional wine list and is a popular choice for those seeking casual fine dining. The menu features Wagyu beef, Butchers Prime Cut steaks, pork, and options for non-meat eaters. Guests can also enjoy outdoor seating with beautiful natural surroundings.
Geneva Chophouse truly exceeded my expectations! Started with a perfectly deconstructed wedge salad - fresh, crisp, and expertly composed. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection, and the Béarnaise sauce added a rich, creamy touch. The real stars, though, were the sides - the king crab + lobster mac & cheese was decadent and indulgent, and the Yukon gold mashed potatoes were silky smooth. Every side dish was a hit with the table! And to top it all off, the espresso martini was expertly crafted and delicious. Huge shoutout to our amazing waitress Rebecca - attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure our experience was nothing short of fantastic! Top-notch service, atmosphere, and food - can't wait to come back!

We had the most incredible dinner and experience here! My husband and I eloped and went here for our wedding dinner and we were so spoiled by the staff! The service was incredible and the steak was to DIE for! We had asparagus, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes as our sides and they were all amazing. The cheesecake for dessert was the icing on the cake. So thankful for the staff for making us feel so special on our wedding day, we will be coming back for every anniversary!

We started off with a half dozen oysters of a half shell and half dozen oysters Rockefeller. We got a bottle of sparkling water for dinner, my wife had the salmon blackened with asparagus and a side of the garlic mashed potatoes. I had the tomahawk cut steak with grilled cherry tomatoes along with the side of asparagus and garlic, mashed potatoes. I ordered the Tomahawk steak, medium rare, and it was spot on perfection I also had a Stella Artois beer with dinner. our waiter Daniel was excellent and was always there if we needed anything the meals were exceptional, definitely a five star restaurant with five star service. They also have great parking valet parking. And a great atmosphere with great views.

Last night on our little vacation so decided to treat ourselves, disappointing end to our trip. The view was nice and all but for the price we all left hungry and wondering why we spent so much on food we could have made at home with more flavor. We expected more for the price stand point. 75.00$ per surf and turf. Just disappointed…

We had a great meal and experience and our server, Cay, was phenomenal. My husband had filet mignon cooked perfectly and I had diver scallops with risotto and it was great. The wedge salad was also fantastic.

It was a perfect night to sit outside overlooking the lake. Our server Brian was fantastic. He described the dishes perfectly and we relied on his expertise. We shared the delmonica steak with the peppercorn and chimichurri sauces, diver scallops, broccolini, cheesecake and carrot cake. Everything was super delicious! Even though they charge for the sauces, it was worth it. We also got a bottle of wine that we were able to take the rest to have later. The food, service, and ambience exceeded our expectations.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. It was our 25th anniversary, and they made us feel incredibly special. We had a window seat overlooking the golf course & lake. Service by Darlene was A+. We had French onion soup & tempura cauliflower to start, both delectable, then filet & halibut, both cooked perfectly, the best mushrooms I’ve ever had (which I order often), and they treated us to a free champagne toast, free apple relish app & a free cheesecake which was also the best I’ve ever had. I can’t say enough about this meal or the experience. I felt blessed.

We drove over an hour from our suburb in Illinois, for their pizza. We also visit the town of Lake Geneva while up there, but Next Door Pub & Pizzeria is always our destination when we go. It was so busy on one of our visits, that we had to order our pizza to go. Usually though, we are able to get seated fairly quickly. We can't wait to check out there second location. We came here with a party of 8 on a Tuesday in July. Had to wait 45mins for a table. The service was good, the beer was cold, and the pizza was great! I’ll be back.

Ordered some carryout on a girls weekend & it was delicious! The prices were reasonable. When we picked it up staff was polite & friendly. The place was popping & we almost wished we had dined in.

I came here for the first time in almost a year. The spinach and artichoke dip is hands down the best around. Absolutely fantastic food. Excellent pizza. Been going here for years and yet to have a bad meal. Thank you to Jean for taking great care of me and being top notch with everything. It has been a rough week and I'm thankful to have been treated so well. One of my favorite pizza places!

Lake Geneva Ziplines & Adventures is an eco-adventure attraction nestled in 100 acres of forest, offering three year-round adventures suitable for the entire family. Visitors can soar through the treetops on a 9-line Zipline Tour, tackle 16 different obstacles on the High Ropes Course, or scale the 4-sided Climbing Tower. The attraction also provides exhilarating hot air balloon rides for a bird's eye view of Lake Geneva's natural beauty.
They have this open year round! Well worth the price! You get to purchase all the pictures from the day for $26! This is definitely a must do when in Lake Geneva. We didn’t do the high ropes as I thought I booked both but it was fine one active took 2 hrs so that was enough and we got our work out! It was quite warm out! Next time we are going to try the high ropes and going to stay 3 days. You will definitely not be disappointed! We will be back!

This place was so fun!! We did the full zip line course and it was amazing. Our guides, Autumn and Bri were 10/10, really made it enjoyable for us! We will definitely be repeat customers. We strongly recommend you book the full course rather than the half, you get so much more! We also recommend you get there early in the day when the weather is warm because it got quite warm towards the end in the areas that are more exposed. Thanks again for a great morning!

We were introduced to Zipline Adventures through #campiamme and I'm so glad we were. There is so much to do. Rock climbing, hanging out at the fire pit, live music. It's a great place for any event. 9 courses each course is meant to gradually introduce you to ziplining. Highly recommended for beginners and advanced zipliners. We had a great time; Sean and Dan did a great job with our team. Really informative and supportive. The main goal of the friendly staff here is to make sure your safe, comfortable, and having fun. The staff did a great job communicating with each other and supporting guests. We will definitely be back again!

Awesome time today with our family and our foreign exchange student from Paris. We did the full tour was a great workout and All Around Fun experience. The staff that helped us was Allie and Autumn. They really were amazing tour guides! We will definitely be back a third time soon!

We had great staff who were helpful in teaching safety and making the trip fun for the whole group. Sad that the zipline tour we booked wasn't longer, I would definitely do a longer one next time. I would recommend you take pictures with your own phones if you are able- they charge for the photos they take of you and those photos weren't great quality and quite expensive. The ones I posted here are my own, without showing the faces of my group.

My Mom and I went and did the 4-line course as a late-Christmas gift to her and we had SO much fun. Our guides were Bri and Jay and they were so kind and patient and super friendly. I'm already planning on returning and taking my daughter. I just hope we get the same guides :) I can't recommend this place enough.
Mike J — Google review
All staff are awesome. Our guides were great too. They make you feel very comfortable with zip lining. We had Sophie and Abby, they led us through the entire circuit. They told us what to do and made if funny too. Great experience for any age.

100/10, will be doing again! Our guides Autumn, TJ & Tristan were amazing! We had a large group of 10 people, and this team made it FUN to zip through the trees. This was my first time zip lining, and it was the best experience ever! The whole course was just breathtaking (I mean...literally, you are up high in those trees and it might make one a bit dizzy/breathless lol, dont look down, look OUT!) and our guides did an amazing job. I want to go again!

Simple Café is a charming farm-to-table restaurant in Lake Geneva that focuses on serving fresh, seasonal breakfast and lunch dishes. The cozy eatery offers a diverse menu with creative and health-focused options, including homemade favorites like omelets, buttermilk pancakes, and flavorful Mexican dishes. With its laid-back vibe and delicious offerings, Simple Café is the perfect spot to enjoy a satisfying meal made with locally sourced ingredients.
Great little gem off the main road but highly worth it. The name should be anything but simple. Eggs, homemade "hash" which was potatoes, sweet squash diced, shredded turkey that was juicy & just the right amount. Whole grain bread was good with homemade strawberry jam & honey butter. Toasted apple cinnamon French Toast with cinnamon crumble was to die for. Even the coffee was hot, strong & plentiful. They even have a little store next door to take home homemade bake good & fresh coffee beans. Great find.

This was a nice, healthy breakfast! We really loved the potato side, which was crispy and flavorful. I took a chance on the hummus toast which felt more unique for a breakfast item, but I absolutely loved it. Creative dishes and fresh ingredients! We had a bit of a wait (35 minutes) but it was worth it.

Great restaurant in Lake Geneva. The food is outstanding.and very healthy. Enough variety for different palates. The blueberry pancakes were perfectly made and they have real.syrup not that synthetic garbage most places serve. An excellent selection of teas served with a proper strainer. The staff are very friendly, personable and remember their interactions with customers from days prior. The interior decor is pleasing, calming and colorful. The outdoor patio is clean and accented with flowers creating the perfect outdoor eating experience. Don't sleep on this spot. There is parking but if you park on the street don't forget to pay the meter. The city is diligent about collecting the revenue.

Food was awesome! Highly recommend the breakfast burrito. Worth the wait! Waited about 30 minutes which was a bummer but the food was worth the wait. I’d recommend getting there earlier when they open if you have a larger party. Parking is street parking that is meter enforced. There is a bank parking lot which you could take your chances with…

I truly wanted to like this place. But the “chicken” salad was mostly salad. There were a few tiny pieces of what could be chicken but looked like processed pieces. Definitely not what one would consider chicken salad. The tiny cup of tomato soup was $5. In addition something I am always surprised about is that they do not accept Apple pay at the table. Something you get in Europe all over.

We had such a wonderful breakfast here! The staff was cheerful and helpful serving us with careful attention but not hovering. I am a bit of a coffee snob, and this coffee was fabulous! My husband and I decided to split the mushroom omelet and the apple crumble French toast; a little sweet and savory. Fabulous choice! The mushroom omelet had just enough flavor to not be overwhelming but still very interesting, a great balance between the mushrooms and the cheese! The French toast was as I expected, a drier French toast than some, sprinkled with sweetness and crumbles. Our son ordered the Korean BBQ breakfast bowl and our DIL ordered the turkey brussel sprouts hash with eggs over easy - the richness of the eggs was beautiful! They each tasted the others and both said they could finish the others as well as theirs! That's a little too savory for me at breakfast, but that's the beauty of this place- delicious options!! Good for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free! A definite favorite for us!

OBSESSED with the delicious Korean BBQ Breakfast Bowl…AND the amazing staff🩷. I accidentally left my denim jacket behind and not only did they mail it to me (I live 3.5 hours away), they sent it at no cost and at lightening speed. This charming store has been a beloved destination for years, offering not only their signature ice cream but also an impressive selection of chocolates and fudge that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. The inviting aroma wafting through the air draws you in, and once inside, you're greeted with friendly service and tempting samples of their rich fudge.
Cute old fashioned ice cream and candy shop. Loved that they were generous with samples, helped us make our decisions on what to purchase. The milk chocolate orange peels are super delicious along with the sea salt caramel fudge. Would def come here again.

’ve been to several other Kilwins in different parts of the country, and I have found some of them to be just okay. This location, in the heart of downtown Lake Geneva, looks similar in many ways, but I felt like it was more spacious. When we were there, they were making several batches of fresh fudge, and the smell was overwhelming and delicious. It took me a few minutes to decide, but the staff were friendly and patient. I ended up with a few different cones: Kilwins Track, Salted Caramel, and Cherry. My biggest complaint? They gave me way too much — it looked like at any second it was going to topple off the top of the cone. :) All three cones were excellent, and I’d be happy to stop by again.

Delicious!!! The folks at Kilwins know what they’re doing!!! We tried the fudging brownie ice cream, Superman ice cream and the Kilwins Turtle Cheesecake all of them were outstanding, but the Kilwins Turtle Cheesecake was out of this world!! What a great combination of flavors and textures. The team was amazingly friendly and even though there was a nonstop line of customers, they treated each of us like we were the only ones there.

We visit chocolate shops everywhere we go, and so Lake Geneva was no exception. To make a long story short, whatever chocolate is a sharp uses, it's not the cheap waxy stuff. This is definitely one of the best shops we've ever been to. We were lucky enough to be able to buy limited-time Dubai chocolates, which which I had wanted to try for a while. Everything we bought was amazing. Dont miss it!

I was down to Lake Geneva today on a day bus trip. Our group had a little time to shop and one of the places I stopped at was your store. I purchased some dark chocolate sea salt pecans and sea salt caramels. They were very very good. Candy from a store like yours can be higher priced than others but you get quality. Your dark chocolates are top quality. If I ever get to Lake Geneva again, I will make it a point to stop at your store again.

We have been going to Kilwins for years. We were in Lake Geneva today and bought a bear claw and caramel chocolate pretzel. The bear claw was $12 and pretzel $6. I understand prices today are high on everything…including chocolate. However, knowing the prices were higher than the last time we were in, we were not expecting to pay more for less. The bear claw was much smaller and the caramel in the pretzel was practically nonexistent. Very disappointing and will not go back.

We went here twice and will definitely come back once we visit Lake Geneva again! :) The moment you enter the store the smell hits you and immediately makes you feel good and happy. The smell of freshly bakes goods and chocolate just brings so much delight, not only to children but adults as well. The crew were friendly, accommodating and gives out free samples willingly. LOVE THIS PLACE! :)

We happened here randomly when looking up bakeries to visit while in town. The customer service is amazing and the baked goods are delicious!! We got the carrot cake which if you have nut allergies which my partner does we always get concerned but he was able to enjoy this with no issues! The chocolate chip cookies was the right amount of chips to dough ratio, and the cinnamon roll was to unreal! Definitely will be back :) if you’re around make sure to stop by here!

In town for a wedding and stopped here for a breakfast treat on the day the brewers faced the cubs while wearing my Brewers polo. The “misguided” cubs staff fearlessly went into roast mode in the most lighthearted way possible!. Such a wonderful staff! Delicious treats and a Great selection of gluten-free treats too!. Will definitely stop here the next time we’re in Lake Geneva.

Highly recommend the Simple Bakery! The heart-shaped chocolate bread was nicely done - perfect texture, nice chocolate touch but not too sweet. The almond croissant was very delicious. The savory scone was a bit less impressive - it’s a bit plain with light cheese flavor, and maybe some scallion or other ingredients can elevate the flavor profile. Queen-amahn was an interesting items that taste like a mixture of croissant and bread - would recommend if you never try it before.

Super nice service and very interesting choices on the bakery items. Delicious and nutritious looking whole breads and also little sweet items. We tried the little cheese cake and no flour brownie and both were very rich and sweet and perfect to refuel on sugar during our long bike ride. The prices are bold but ok for the quality. The place was tidy and well presented, well worked with the small space. The bathroom was clean. I recommend.

Olympic Family Restaurant is your classic breakfast-all-day diner with decent food and a no-frills vibe. They’re accommodating when it comes to splitting checks—just pay at the register—but keep an eye on the credit card fee, as it can sometimes be more than expected. One downside: Fox News is always on the TV, which isn’t everyone’s preference, though at least they’re consistent about it.

So one of the things that I really enjoyed was the salad and I kid you not, this was the best salad, I ever had in my life🙆‍♂️ the dressing is homemade, everything was Super Fresh and I would come here for that alone also we had the gyro sandwich, which I thought was just okay and we also really wanted to try the grilled cheese, which was pretty amazing. If you're ever in this area, this place is definitely worth checking out. I definitely would like to try more of the food here. The staff was really friendly and welcoming👍 There's so much to do in Lake Geneva you could, just go down there and walk around. I feel like Friday is the best shopping day and also remember that you have to pay for parking💰 when you're down there and also don't forget to go walk around the lake and do some shopping. Awesome breakfast!!! The food was great, with a varied menu ranging from traditional breakfast to more unusual fare. Service was extremely friendly and prompt. The atmosphere is lovely, having an "old time" diner feel. So glad we came here and we will most definitely return when we visit Lake Geneva again.

I see that some of the recurring complaints are centered in customer service, self tipping, and miscommunication in pricing. Personally, I had a decent/pleasant experience and pricing was as advertised. Neither my partner nor I felt mislead. Portions are normal. We do not think they skimped. Our server was respectful, prompt, and nice. But like with anything there are areas for improvement. Some constructive feedback I have is: • Double checking glassware. I understand that when you’re washing dishes with an industrial machine, it won’t be able to clean off every lipstick stain or mark. Double checking would help mitigate giving customers dirty dishes. • I ordered the fisherman’s platter and most of it was good. Typical diner style stuff but I think the cod could be seasoned more.

Olympic is your quintessential family run diner. The service was superb and they made us feel right at home. Talk about midwestern hospitality. Onto the food - the pancakes were super fluffy and delicious, an incredible corned beef hash. The waffle, we were speechless. We can’t wait to come back.

Claw's Hot Dogs & Beef is a vibrant counter-serve eatery that offers an array of Chicago-style delights, including hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, and burgers. The menu also features grilled meats and diverse options for all tastes. Despite the absence of indoor dining, the establishment maintains high standards of cleanliness and sanitation while providing friendly service. Customers have praised the authentic Chicago style of their hot dogs and generous portions of Italian beef in the combo meal.
This place is so cute and cozy! The menu and decor has that 90s vibe that makes it super special. We loved the food! We had mixed poppers as an app and my husband has a foot long hot dog and I had the gyro with fries. The poppers were giant, the fries were crispy and delicious. We were drooling at how good the french fries are! The entrees were spectacular, definitely would recommend coming here! BTW the Staff was awesome and understanding as we were asking ALL the questions, and I mean ALLLLL the questions. Anyways, enjoy! 😉

I've enjoyed this place for many years. The food is excellent, especially the cheeseburgers. I'd absolutely recommend stopping here for great lunch.

Chili cheese fries are trash. Not sure why they are served like this, the chili and cheese sauce is obviously cheap canned crap. The hot dog was decent but the non at the register picking her nose while she took our order has zero customer service skills. P.S don’t hand someone their cup with your index finger on the inside of the cup.

Very reminiscent of many hot dog venues I've been to in IL with their Chicago style menu. Even though there's still no dining in, place is kept very clean & sanitized and staff is super friendly. My wife had the Gyros sandwich which she liked, teen daughter enjoyed her Chicago dog, my 5 year old son had the chicken strips which he said were yummy and I went with their Italian beef which was very tasty. Extensive menu with reasonable prices and I could easily stop back in if ever in the area and have that particular craving for Chicago kitchen bites.

I Ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks and marinara sauce were great! The Philly not so much, the meat was not real steak meat but strips you get out of the pack from the box😥 so unfortunately I was a bit disappointed with that purchase. I had some of my friends cheese fries those were fantastic. When I am back visiting LG I plan to come back and try some other better options on the menu!

Honestly I’m pretty sure this place is better than Portillo’s when it comes to Chicago style hot dogs. So much so I come from Illinois sometimes just to go here, then back. They just seem so much more fresh and flavorful, they have the perfect snap that a dog should have, and the ingredients they prep are absolutely amazing. The fries seem like fresh cut fries and those are amazing, also their poppers are reallllly good. I would recommend this place all day long. Sometimes I just wish their hours were a little bit later for late dinner.

I had a fantastic experience at Taqueria El Gallo De Oro. The delightful ambiance of the patio made me extremely happy. I relished their scrumptious Mexican-style steak tacos, accompanied by a generous portion of fresh and tasty guacamole with chips. To quench my thirst, I opted for a refreshing guava jarritos while my friend savored an excellent cold Margarita. This place has earned its spot on my list of establishments that serve outstanding tacos.
Oh. My. Gosh. Why has it taken me so long to dine here? My husband works in LG and frequents here. He wanted to take myself and our daughter out for Mother's Day lunch here so we met him. Honestly, I just can't say enough good things, but I am going to try! We were greeted by one of the friendliest people I have run into hosting, luckily, there was one table left on the patia (which is fantastic by the way). Waitress was very prompt with our drink and app order. Let me get into the nitty gritty. Hibiscus Margarita, AMAZING! And I mean it. I like to consider myself a margarita connoisseur and this was in my top 5 of all of the places I have been in the country. No joke. My husband had a margarita with a full size beer in it, which was also amazing in it's own right. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach, but my husband indulged us. Queso and Guac to start, phenomenal (but took most of it home). My daughter and I ordered Chicken and Steak quesadillas which I hate to say is my go to at new establishments. (I will NOT make that mistake again, here). They were great, but the menu is full of traditional offerings that I cannot wait to try. Part of their specials for Mother's Day was Elote in a cup and it was very flavorful. I'm not sure if it is on the menu all of the time, but a girl can hope. Here is the star of the show: The Quesabirrias Con Consome. Order it. Love it. Come back and order it again. So fresh. So delicious. I ended up eating one of my husbands and wished that I had ordered my own. This place is out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Lake Geneva and the parking is FREE. Which if you are from around here, you love to see this as a local. Please go and support this establishment. You will not be disappointed.

Placed a catering order for a bachelorette with Cynthia! The food was great. She was helpful, professional and good with communication. We were missing rice in our order but the food was still a hit. Omg the food was fantastic. I had the taco bowl with shrimp and birria. The peppers were so good. Everything was full of flavor. Our waitress recommended it and we were very pleased. My watermelon lemon lime margaritas was delicious too. Our server was a true gem so pleasant and friendly. The restaurant owner should know her customer service was top noche. Melany is definitely an asset. The other ladies were good as well. Shout out to the lady that made my drink, it was top notch. I'll definitely be coming back.

Everyone has been raving about this place for years! Finally decided to check it out. Oh my gosh!! I wish we had been coming sooner! The atmosphere is fun, inviting, and interesting!! Great decorations! Service- impeccable!! I am a pretty harsh judge on servers, as I used to do this! So I definitely have expectations. The servers were fun and personable. Efficient and professional. The drinks! Oh my! So cool and tasty!! The food- to die for!! We are so coming back!! Presentation was perfect. Chips and salsa brought to the table (extra basket of chips are $3 more, Jsyk) A variety of salsas from mild to 🔥! They have daily specials. Hubs got the enchilada special for $10. He said it was excellent! I got the three taco meal. So good! Could barely finish it! Food came out at the perfect temp and not too quick - which in my opinion means everything is premade and just being kept warm. Felt like it was made fresh to order. It was a wonderfully relaxing dinner. Sat outside as the temps are perfect right now. Highly recommend for couples or groups. Not a super big location- but groups of 5-10 would be ok! Check it out! You won’t be disappointed! And free parking- which in Lake Geneva- that’s hard to find! 😉

Can't say enough positive things about the service here. Greeted with a smile, our waitress was playful, funny, super attentive, and always made sure we're were happy. The food was great! Chicken and asada options all tasted amazing. I would say their salsa is a little lacking and don't like having to pay for chips and salsa at a Mexican place, but would def recommend this place and will go again next time I'm in Lake Geneva.

The food was flavorful and every dish has a unique taste... The menu has a lot of options and it's great to find that they can customize things for you as well... we had a pick up order so cannot say much about the atmosphere ... but the service was pretty friendly and polite... they gave us a lot of freebies (different salsa etc.) as well... the food is reasonably prices and the portion sizes are pretty big.

Food excellent. Only one size margaritas which is small at most restaurants and priced very high 15 bucks for one. Food prices are average. Food top notch. Drinks go to another place

Went to this restaurant recently and was excited to try the food. Ordered some red enchiladas and that's exactly what I got, looked like marinara sauce ,kinda thick sauce to. The steak meat wasn't bad but overshadowed by that sauce. Then received the bill and the food was nowhere good enough to charge that price. The service was fine and they deserved the tip but I would be cautious ordering the enchiladas.
