This park is absolutely beautiful. We stayed a few days to rest, as we're moving cross country from Virginia to Alaska. They accommodated not only our 5th wheel but our enclosed trailer. They're pet friendly too. Showers were immaculate. They don't have sewer.. They DO have dump stations for campers. ❤️ You won't be disappointed with this state park.

It was our first time camping here and we loved it! Campsites were clean and large. Staff members were friendly and helpful. There were also several trails that we went on that were full of adventure. We will definitely be camping here again in the future!
Trisha S — Google review
My kids and I enjoyed the paved .6 mile hike, Cave Creek trail, the Nature Center and the playground close by. The Nature Center did a snake event that was so fun and my kids even got to hold a large snake! The only negative I will mention is that I could not find a baby changing table.
Katlyn S — Google review
I can't rate rooms. We camped, or rather we parked out motorhome there. The lot we had was "back in", and they have water, 35/50 amp service, but no sewer at the sites. But they have great rates and we are enjoying our stay.

Love going here, was disappointed that the host had to remove his halloween maze. We were excited had watched him getting this together on several trips. Went halloween night and it was taken down. My grandson was so disappointed. I heard a guest complained. That seem crazy since it was posted that the campground celebrated halloween with the community. Still love camping here but disappointed we missed the host kindness doing something cool for the kids.

It's a great trail! Although my daughter's couldn't go all the way, it was beautiful. Tons of shade from the trees. Beautiful open areas to sit and take a break. Every person we passed on the trail were super friendly as well. We got to see a ton of horses also walking the trail. I can't wait to go back and do the whole thing, without my kids of course lol.
Brittany C — Google review
Park it's self is amazing! Staff was friendly and helpful. But keep an eye on the park ranger's around your kids and property never know what bs they are up to. Lied to, manipulated, and treated like shit. I do plan on reaching out to the head of Park Rangers to file a complaint because I've been told by 2 police officers and a State Trooper that what he did was illegal and NO Park ranger's can't do what he did!

Very clean and enjoyable. We will definitely be back. The trails were beautiful and well maintained. Park staff helpful.

Very cool historical building in Wilco. Never knew it existed until they had the free activities for kids before Christmas. The activities were great and they even had cedar ornaments for the kids to paint.

This is a very cool historical location. We visited while staying at Cedars of Lebanon State Park and really enjoyed this tour. Make sure to reserve your spot in advance as there is a limited number of tickets per day. It is free to reserve your spot, but a donation is recommended to help keep these sites funded and preserved. You can also make one onsite via a QR code. Aside from the house, barn, outbuildings, blacksmith shop, and broom makers shop, they had chickens. The broom maker is onsite working on Saturdays and sells the brooms right there!Interesting history of the Ford family and later the Reed family. It is worth the visit!
Adam — Google review
I visited Tom Jones's Broom Shed to observe him as he made a broom. I also toured the Sadie Ford Heritage Farm House. I loved seeing how Tom makes the brooms, as well as how he and others have preserved these important historic structures. I purchased an orange-and-white "UT" broom.
Ellen J — Google review
Nice state park. With this Saidie Ford additional lands were acquired for the park to manage. We had some home made ice cream and a nice tour of an actual Sears & Robucks catalog built home.

While this is currently closed, the park is working hard to get it open again. They are even working on the trails that are on the property. Can’t wait for this to open, such a beautiful place that is full of history!!

We went on Saturday around one o'clock. I was disappointed the house and buildings were locked. The broom man had his shop open. I always love talking to him.

The Dancing Lights of Christmas

This is our first year going to The Dancing Lights. It was spectacular! We went on a Sunday, and the line moved right along. The displays were beautiful and matched to the music you could listen to while dubbing through. I would definitely recommend adding this to your holiday festivities list of things to do.
Tammy L — Google review
The Dancing Lights of Christmas is a must see; light show that will blow your mind! The light show is synchronized with radio station per the light show. If you have never been you must go at least one time to experience this one of a kind light show! However, you must be patient due to the light show being a big attraction you may have to wait a long time to see the show. I waited 2.5hrs. but they do have restroom portables due for the wait delay... In the end, the wait was well worth it... It was like something I've never seen before. Greatest light show ever!!! Now will I go back NOPE, would want to do that every year. Like I said, you must at least experience it one time; it's worth it. Good Luck. H-san
HOP-Sing ホ — Google review
Very meh on this light show. The way they have the lines, which zig zag many times once you enter, you have a 2 hour (at least) wait if the line is out on the street. I felt like it was a bit misleading just looking into the area, there are bathrooms and a few exits if the wait ends up being too long. I honestly feel like the wait would’ve been SO much more worth it if they added even a few lights along the way and you got the radio station at the line entrance so you could enjoy music while waiting. Once inside, I did really enjoy the light show, I felt like there was a good mix of the singing figures, projectors, moving lights, etc. Do I think it was worth $35? For a car of 2 people…no, but with a few people chipping in or some kiddos I think it would be. The show lasted us around 30 minutes, I would’ve loved it if they took some of the dense areas and moved those to the line or dispersed them a bit. Overall a very typical Christmas light show.
India G — Google review
This is the second time I've been here while visiting family over the holidays. Definitely even bigger and better this year as advertised!! HUGE 2-lane line just to enter the park on Friday after Thanksgiving, but WELL worth the wait!! There were portable toilets near the line of cars which I saw many people use during the wait - such a nice addition to accommodate people waiting. I even saw there were cute Christmas lights inside the port-a-potties which I'm sure helped people see in there much better at night! We only had to wait about 30 minutes, which wasn't bad considering how many people were there. Once in the park, it was a nice slow constant drive - had plenty of time to drive through all the beautiful lights set to super fun upbeat versions of Christmas classics. Super fun family activity! Would love to make this a family tradition! Definitely want to return again when we're back in the area during the holidays in years to come!
Shannon S — Google review
SO COOL!! The lights were amazing and definitely worth the price. There is literally no complaints about it and there was nothing wrong with it. I think they also had to where you could ride in a Fire Truck. They had like a little Santa Land🎅 which was so cute. They had a food bar, tons of seating, you could feed animals, and for the smaller kids you could ride a baby horse. They also had bouncy houses and a movie outside. In Santa Land they did have bathrooms which was really great they weren't the best but decent. I would definitely recommend, and you should go see them during the holidays. It is great entertainment for families. Also, each car is $25. Update year 2020: It was really cool same as always. They did actually add some things this year which was really cool. They did not have Santa Land this year😕 ( because of Covid-19 ) some of the workers were in groups of two and neither of them were wearing a mask which is kind of a big deal. Also, the sound track in my opinion needs to be changed because every year it is the same. Overall it was very fun.
Sav — Google review
We love this Christmas tradition!!! This light show keeps getting better and better! The trail winds through tunnels and well choreographed lights full of familiar Christmas characters and upbeat Christmas songs. The path is well marked with many friendly people directing vehicles safely through the maze of lights. On weekends the wait can be a bit long but on weekdays there is no wait! In fact, it was so slow when we went that they let us go through a second time!!! So fun!!! We look forward to this every year. Especially love the singing Xmas trees and light bulbs and guitar playing snowmen!!!
Kelly G — Google review
My family and I had such a great experience. We went this Thursday @ 7:30 pm and there was no line, and everything was smooth and organized. The show was beautiful! They had music in Spanish, English and even Frozen. My daughter had a great time at the little fair. We fed the animals and ate funnel cakes & hot chocolate.

Drive thru lights . Best experience u can have during the chilling winters . 30$ per family vehicle . People in and around Nashville can spend an evening with this light shows and click pics with the Santa . You can expect a fairly long wait time though. Open all day !

The City of Lebanon takes great pride in its rich history and cherished traditions. At the heart of this appreciation lies the Lebanon Museum and History Center, a place where visitors can immerse themselves in the local heritage. Open on Mondays, this center serves as a gateway to explore the stories and values that have shaped the community over time. It's an essential stop for anyone looking to understand Lebanon's past while honoring its enduring legacy.
Small and hard to find but worth a look! Lots of neat area history here with great displays, models, and art! The 1860 Pilgrims Progress edition was a cool find! The original tn train lines map was interesting too! Glad to check out this free little museum. The parking and directions weren’t very clear. Visitors can park on the right side. The lower entrance is not actually a way in, just an exit. You’ll need to be upstairs in the lobby and sign the guest book and they’ll direct you to the elevator access to the exhibit. Not clearly marked online or on google. Hope that is changed. Swing by Lebanon soon for some local history and a fun letter-sorting interactive setup and original art of the battles nearby. We had fun! Free entrance. Free parking.

Nestled in a charming historic building that once served as a military academy, Sammy B's Restaurant and Catering is the perfect spot for anyone craving Southern and American pub fare. This casual dining gem offers an extensive menu that caters to diverse tastes, featuring everything from Tex-Mex delights to classic pizzas. Whether you're planning a family dinner, celebrating a special occasion, or enjoying date night, the inviting atmosphere at Sammy B's makes it an ideal choice.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sammy B’s, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a delightful evening. The customer service was truly top-notch. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our glasses were always filled and our needs were promptly met. They took the time to explain the menu with enthusiasm and offered great recommendations, showcasing their extensive knowledge of the dishes. It was clear that the staff genuinely cared about our dining experience. Now, let’s talk about the food! Each dish we ordered was a masterpiece. We started with a Caesar salad and a house salad, which both were a perfect balance of flavors with their house-made dressings. For the main course, I opted for the Wild Alaska Sam-un, perfectly cooked and served with a delightful sweet glaze that elevated the dish to new heights. My dining companion chose the Augusta Chicken, which was melt-in-your-mouth tender and full of rich flavor. Dessert was the grand finale. We shared the scrumptious homemade peach cobbler, paired with homemade vanilla ice cream. It was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Overall, Sammy B’s exceeded our expectations with its excellent customer service and amazing food. We left feeling satisfied and eager to return. If you're looking for a place that combines a warm atmosphere with culinary delights, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a visit!

Driving up, you will think to yourself, "Am I in the correct place, or did this map get confused again?" After a short wait, we got a table, and the experience started, and it did not disappoint. Chloe was supper nice and prompt, could not asked for better service. The fact that they have a salad bar makes it even better.
Clarence M — Google review
Someone local recommended this place to us, and unfortunately, it didn't live up to their hype. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had a salad bar. It was fresh even though it wasn't a large salad bar. The salad dressings were also housemade and very good. I ordered the Beef Stoganoff and my mom ordered the Chicken on the Row. When the food came to the table, it looked delicious. Looks can be so deceiving. As soon as I started trying to cut the beef with a case knife, I knew there were issues. It was supposed to be BEEF TENDERLOIN. You should never have trouble cutting beef tenderloin with a case knife. The meat was basically inedible. After I salted the rest of the dish twice, the pasta was good. But I didn't pay $20 for a bowl of pasta. The waitress did offer to ask if they would take it off of the bill, but I don't go places to do that. My mom's dish was supposed to be ricotta stuffed shells with spinach artichoke dip. The chicken breast was with peppers, onions and mushrooms on top. When it came out, it was more like a chicken cutlet, and it was very overcooked. The shells were good, but the two components didn't seem to go together. We got there at about 3pm. Two ladies came in and were seated beside us about 20-30 minutes after us. One of them ordered the same dish as my mom did. It looked completely different. The chicken breast was actually a breast, and looked like it should! My mom's was probably held over from lunch service and it showed. We weren't impressed and we won't be back. Our waitress was sweet and did a good job.
Ginger M — Google review
This is a review based on three visits. We were a little on the fence after visit one, but a coupon deal lured us back for visit two, and visit three was the best one yet. Great atmosphere and decor. Not a fan of the closed-in patio, but the main room was highly enjoyable. Very good food, from the fish to sandwiches to burgers to steaks, we took out of town guests on visit 3, and they loved it. We will definitely go back!
Nancy D — Google review
Again another fantastic place that I went to that I cannot find anything wrong with it. The food was properly prepared and was delicious the price was very reasonable the staff including the bartender and the owner were so nice to make sure that my food was prepared perfectly and hot and ready. They have a famous bartender there that they tell me that is 83 years old and still kicking on strong serving you great drinks Wednesday Thursday and Friday which I plan on going back to see this person and I suggest that you give this place a try cuz you won't be disappointed. I ordered the pork loin chops and chicken on a roll and they all were fantastic. To end the night I ordered the fudge sundae and it was cool and refreshing. If you don't like this place tell me about it and I'll pay your bill cuz that's how much I believe in this place.

Hands down the best food and dining atmosphere in Lebanon. Will be returning soon. The staff is so kind. Every item we tried was amazing.
Cole B — Google review
Visited Sammy B's for the first time with my wife for our 36th Wedding anniversary. We both had the smoked prime rib, baked potato and salad bar. This is a very cool venue. It is in a residence of the old military school.
Tim M — Google review
We ordered two shrimp and chip dinners at $19 each for carryout. When my husband brought the dinners home I was shocked to find only 6 shrimp in each box. When we have ordered this in the past, as recently as 60 days ago, there were 8-10 shrimp. If the quantity or price changed that should have been noted when the order was placed. If it had been detailed, we would have ordered another meal as two people were splitting one of the dinners. I fully realize restaurants are under extreme financial pressure to cut costs. But when you don't offer value for the price, the likelihood of the customer returning is slim to none. I have not been a huge fan of Sammy B's since they cut their menu to the bone. Seems Aubrey's, new to town with generous portions and loads of traffic, is putting the hurt on Sammy B's.

Barbecue restaurant
New Moon BBQ is a classic smokehouse with a charming rural ambiance, serving up delectable ribs, brisket, and catfish. It's renowned as the top BBQ spot in and around Nashville, offering an array of mouthwatering dishes that have left patrons impressed. The menu features irresistible smoked wings, flavorful brisket, and an Elvis taco that's simply amazing.
Our visit was random and unplanned! We stopped to get gas, and Googled "food near me" and this place popped up. Highly rated, and we love barbecue, so we decided to try it. I had never heard of smoked bologna, so I tried it. It was great, the buttered grilled bun really added to the flavor. Also had smoked wings, and husband had pork BBQ. Both very good. Waitress was sweet and friendly. Lucky pit stop!
Lee C — Google review
We had the brisket, pulled pork sandwich, with beans and coleslaw. The brisket wasn’t sliced or pulled, it was like a large chunk of brisket. The pulled pork didn’t have much flavor and a lot of it wasn’t pulled (there were big chunks). The beans and coleslaw were okay. The sweet sauce was really runny, not much flavor. The hot sauce had a nice kick and flavor, but should be hotter. The hoecake was good. Definitely wouldn’t go back. There are too many good BBQ places nearby.
Cathy — Google review
We stopped here for a quick bite while traveling between Sevierville and Nashville. It wasn't too far off of the highway and the food was great And the service was very friendly. The pulled pork barbeque sandwich was great. My wife has the smoked bologna sandwich which had a large amount of meat and was really good also.
Chris ( — Google review
My friend and I went the other day around 1 and the place was dead. (That should of been our first sign) we sat ourselves and immediately noticed how dirty the place was. Our table looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day, and when I asked the waitress if she could wipe it off she just scoffed and went to retrieve a towel. The food was cold all except the baked beans which had been obviously nuked to high heaven. Brisket, chicken, and sausage was cold and dry. Needless to say I won't be returning.
Tom B — Google review
Stopped in on tge way back from a tractor grab in middle Tennessee. Always high hopes for good BBQ, ehhh. Got the 3 meat plate, double brisket (local favorite), pulled pork, Mac n cheese and broccoli casserole. Brisket was ok, lots of fat and reminded me off pot roast, not so much smoked brisket. The pulled pork lacked flavor as well and a bit dry, not sure about it. Mac n cheese was solid, best of the rest. Broccoli casserole?... or broccoli and rice-yes. Not impressed with the lack off cheese and creaminess. Good water, flavorless and ice cold. It was worth a try...
Dave B — Google review
Stopped in for a bite and left feeling... fine. The meat was cooked well enough. Not dry, not mind-blowing, just okay. I really dislike the new owners' version of broccoli cheese casserole. The garlic was so strong i had an after taste for hours. Wish they could bring back the old owner's recipie. Service is always A+ Will I go back? Sure. It’s convenient and dependable. But if you're chasing that unforgettable, smoky flavor that makes you want to cancel dinner plans for the next week just to come back, this isn't quite it.
Old W — Google review
Fantastic BBQ, great portions, and wonderful sides. But, unexpectedly the very best buffalo wings I've ever had. Super tasty and literally fall of the bone tender. Just amazing.
Mechanic_X — Google review
This place has really gone downhill. We have eaten here many times, but have not been in over a year, so we thought we would drive out of our way and order it to go for a big group. The lady taking my order acted like she did not want to be there. There was only 1 other couple in the restaurant, so it was not busy. The brisket was bland, no smoke flavor, big chunks, it tasted more like a roast. The pork was ok. The ribs were dry and didn't have much meat on them. The chicken was very dry, but had ok flavor. After spending $130, the meat came out packed into 2 small containers with the cornbread smashed on top. The cashier started to balk at me when I asked for more BBQ sauce, but she gave me more. Also, buns are not included. I had to go back in and pay $8 more to get them. We'll stick with some of the other spots that are consistently good.

Nature & Parks
Don Fox Community Park in Lebanon is a well-maintained and spacious park that offers a variety of amenities for visitors. It aims to enhance the quality of life for residents by providing a safe and attractive environment for leisure activities. The park features volleyball nets, a water park during the summer, a large playground area, walking and biking trails, pavilions for small groups, and open spaces for various activities like Frisbee or catch.
This is a really great park. Huge fenced playground with swings, merry-go-round, and climbing structures. Smaller playground with small sandbox. Needs a bigger sandbox. Two sand volleyball courts. Wading pool. Several pavillions and lots of benches and swings. All surrounded by 2+ miles of paved trailfor walking and biking. Animals not allowed. It was busy midweek so illbet weekends are very busy.

After driving for a few hours, it was awesome to get out and go for a walk in this massive park. Multiple covered pavilions, multiple playgrounds, a really nice level walking trail. They have a couple of Level 1 chargers that are probably used for hosting a festival or such but it worked nicely to add 10% to my onboard battery while I walked around.

A great little park. I like that there's a one mile paved loop. It makes the walking workouts easier. There's a longer trail, but I haven't tried it yet. I see the is a public bathroom too, but I've not used it. Just nice that there is one. I've been there twice. It looks like it gets quite busy at times. However, I went earlier today and it was not very busy. Kudos to Lebanon for this park.

This was really cool, and my son loved it! Some of it is in need of some love, but it is safe, and a great place to take your lille ones. There is plenty to do for all ages up to and including adults with a walking/running path, relaxing swings, and playground activities for the little ones.

Great park! Clean, well kept park. No pets allowed. Volleyball nets, small water park in summer time and large play ground area. Trail for walking, biking, non motorized bikes, skateboards. Sprawling yard for Frisbee or playing catch. Clean pavilions for small groups. Went with a packed lunch with my mother on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised at how nicely kept the grounds were. Though there were many people at the park it is so large it did not seem crowded. There even was a little library box where you could read available books while you swung on an adjacent large bench swing. Definitely will be bringing my kids with me upon my next visit.

Fiddlers Grove Historic Village is a recreated historic village located in Lebanon, Tennessee. It features original and replicated buildings, some made with materials from structures in rural communities throughout Wilson County. The village showcases historical structures and collections significant to the county's history. Visitors can explore various restored buildings such as the General Store, Post Office, Jail, cabins, hospital, kitchens, old train and more.
I chaperoned my daughter's elementary class for a few hours while they discovered all awesome period recreations of craftsman, teachers, historians and political figures from TN's past. Great experience!

The dancing lights were so pretty. We took the grandkids and they had a blast.

Fiddlers grove is amazing. Can't wait to go back Friday night for Ghosts in the Grove. I hear they are having a murder mystery game this year!
Beth S — Google review
We have our family reunion here every year. It is fabulous because the building is air conditioned and has tables, chairs, full kitchen with service window!! Huge commercial ice maker too! We get there early and set up tables and chairs however we like them. Then start prepping the food and drinks. There are mens and women's 3 stall bathrooms. Then after we get everything going, we can go out and about. We walk all over fiddlers grove looking in the cabins, hospital, kitchens, old train and general store. Every one of them tells a story! Sometimes there are shows going on you can enjoy as well! They have swings and benches nestled under huge shade trees, perfect for people who rather relax a while instead of walking all through fiddlers grove. When you are done just clean up and leave it like you found it!! It is definitely worth a look, you will love it!! The tree in my pics has names carved in the leaves....that's why so many pics of it!😁

Historical village set up in the Wilson County/ Tennessee State fairgrounds. $6 Adult fee @ General store to tour at own pace in mostly shaded park. Model railroad museum having all scales of running trains as well included in the fee.

Nice historical village. Tons of buildings to check out an explore. I went during the State Fair.

So cool! A great place to visit with the family. I wish they had some good available but a great experience regardless

Just got back from the small engine and antique tractor show. Fiddlers Grove was a look into the past and done very well. I really enjoyed myself.

Mexican restaurant
Los Compadres is a vibrant Mexican eatery and bar that offers an interactive guacamole preparation at your table and a Sunday lunch buffet. The service in the bar area is notably superior compared to their location in S Cumberland, with friendlier staff who are not rushed to assist you. Customers often feel ignored at S Cumberland, but the change of menu at Los Compadres reflects an authentic Mexican culinary experience rather than the typical generic options numbered or named after popular characters.
Visited on a Tuesday night around 7pm restaurant was empty for the most part. Service was good. Food was served quickly and was nice and hot. Restaurant was kept nice and clean. Furniture in the restaurant was nice quality. Food was delicious.

The waiter was nice and attentive. The price was too high for the quality. If you're going to charge these prices, you expect certain aspects of freshness with that. Homemade chips, It's easy and tastes amazing as well as cost effective. The tamale was cold and had very little filling. Tamales are time consuming to make, still if they're going to be the menu they need to be delicious.

Born and raised in Arizona and living in Chicago for 5 years has made me spoiled to Mexican food....so this was eh compared to what I'm used to service was great.

Good food that comes out fast at an amazing affordable price. Lunch specials see a great way to eat quick and get back to work. The drink menu looks good so we’ll be back for dinner to try a few of them.

First time at that location. Food was good, ordered fajitas del Mas, nachos Supreme and Taquitos. Cheese doing and salsa was good too. My fajitas didn't have any tortilla with it, but its OK by me:) will be back for sure. One thing, AmEx didn't work on their POS system... make sure to bring other way of payment

Great food, great prices! They were open on the day after Christmas. Though there was a bit of wait, we eventually got seated. I ordered the grilled salmon and liked it so much.

Great food. We went in the afternoon with our 2 children so it wasn't busy or anything. Service was great and we really enjoyed ourselves! I don't remember the name of my dish, but it was grilled shrimp, ham, pineapple, and mushrooms. It was delicious. I will definitely be back!

Japanese restaurant
Sushi restaurant
Nestled in a cozy corner, Sake is a charming family-run restaurant that specializes in delightful sushi rolls and mouthwatering teriyaki and hibachi-grilled dishes. While parking may be limited, the spacious seating ensures you can enjoy your meal without feeling cramped. Diners rave about the Hibachi steak paired with perfectly cooked fried rice—no dry bites here! The attentive service adds to the experience, even if some staff are still finding their footing.
*This is not going to be a typical review* I googled Hibachi grill restaurants as I wanted to celebrate a birthday and have the Hibachi experience. I showed up at Sake thinking they had the grills and was really disappointed that I messed up. However, Wayne the Mgr was soooo sweet and really tried to help me look around for a Hibachi grill experience. Since it was close to 2pm, we decided to go ahead and dine in anyway and just do a grill another time. Service: I already described Wayne's kindness. Then we were served by Tristan and goodness she was an absolute sweetheart as well! Everyone at Sake has the loveliest disposition. Food: We ordered the Fried Zen Shrimp and Beef Spring roll, a Spider roll and shrimp hibachi. The appetizers were so good that we ordered more shrimp and spring rolls! The only sad part is the "Spider" roll had shrimp instead of the standard softshell crab. It was good but should have been named shrimp tempura as my craving wasn't met. I'm so glad I found this place! The food is great, the service wonderful and the prices are very reasonable. I'm looking forward to returning here soon!

Waitresses was really nice. Tea is excellent, and the food is super fresh Try the crab Rangoon wontons those are amazing fresh and creamy Did not expect my poke bowl to be in such cute little shapes . Wish I had a little bit more salmon on there but super great either way. Used to having big chunks 😂
Katy B — Google review
Prices are fair, service is good, and food was great (look at picture). Parking is limited, but seating is unlimited. I had the Hibachi steak with fried rice. Exact portion of food for price. It was actually steak with moist rice. Not just slivers of meat with dry rice. While the waitresses appear to be inexperienced, they are very polite and proper. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is quiet. Dishes appear to be $10 - $15, but the quality AND quality of food is worth it as a whole. I give it 5 stars out of 5. Definitely recommend.

Exceptional service, ask for Milly, I so enjoyed the soft shell crab roll.

SAKE JAPANESE is superior in every way. This was our first visit to this restaurant. It is family owned and operated. The service is prompt, helpful, attentive, and courteous. I had Teriyaki Salmon and Seaweed Salad with special roll as appetizer. My wife had Teriyaki Steak and Chicken Hibachi with salad and Vegetable Soushi. The salmon was the best I've ever had.
Larry H — Google review
I love it here!! The people are always friendly and the food is AMAZING!!
Stephanie M — Google review
Ordered takeout. Teriyaki chicken and shrimp for 9.75, teriyaki chicken, shrimp and steak for 12.75, fried dumplings for 6.00 and a tempura roll for ~7.00. Below are the portion sizes. Absolutely terrible. I had 3 pieces of steak and 3-4 pieces of shrimp and chicken. A lot more rice than meat and the vegetables was mostly just onions and very little of anything else. The boxes in the pictures aren’t the large takeout boxes they’re quite small and still aren’t full. The dumplings are miniature. Sad. I’m severely disappointed about $40 after tax for such over prices and under portioned food. The only reason I give 2 stars is because it tasted decent but the taste doesn’t make up for the little amount of food you get for the price.

Truck stop
American restaurant
Uncle Pete's Restaurant is a delightful throwback to the classic truck stop experience, radiating an inviting charm that feels like stepping into a scene from "Smokey and The Bandit." As you enter, you're welcomed by friendly staff amidst a nostalgic decor filled with countless coffee mugs and military memorabilia. The atmosphere buzzes with warmth as locals gather around the central table, sharing stories over steaming cups of coffee while classic shows play in the background.
Been coming here for over 25 years now. It was one of my first truck stops to stay at as a new driver. So few real truck stops left. It's both iconic and feels like home. I hate that they started charging for parking but that's the world we live in now. The restaurant still has good food and I hope they keep it as close to original for as long as they are here. #GoVols

Okay. For the food, typical and run-of-the-mill breakfast. So why 5 stars? The atmosphere, the servers/staff, and the customers. You can tell many of them eat here on a daily basis. Servers know names and orders. Typically, walking into somewhere like this when you aren't local draws attention. Not here. Conversations began immediately. Mixture of military and coffee mugs adorn the walls. One of the customers, a Navy veteran, told us that Uncle Pete has never bought a mug, but he drank out of every single one. According to the menu, truckers gifted Uncle Pete the mugs. Worth the time looking at them. Many eclectic and original pieces. Simply a wonderful place for conversation and food.

Interesting but pretty tasty place sort of hidden in a truck stop. The service and food were surprisingly good; the catfish I got with my breakfast platter was probably the best I've ever had. Was not expecting that! Place could use some TLC though.

What a a nice little gem of a restaurant is Uncle Pete's You walk in and greeted by the super friendly staff into a sea of nostalgia. I ordered the baby back ribs and they were finger licking awesome. The prices are super amazing for the food you get. Deff will come back here again

The food is great. HOWEVER… it’s a scam to drivers. The sign at the fuel pump says pay to park or free with fuel or purchase. We are not permitted to buy fuel so I purchased food to the sum of 17.51 including tip. Apparently that’s not good enough. The “ parking lot attendant “ informed me that I still needed to pay for parking. First of all the “ parking lot attendant “ loves to flex his authority by beating on trucks if you don’t have your little parking pass displayed. Secondly to charge drivers to park is getting out of hand. We do not get reimbursed for this. Let’s talk about the contract that paying to park Creates. In the state of Tennessee if you charge to park you are creating a contract in kind meaning the party that charges another party to park is responsible for your safety and security as well as your vehicle. The park at your own risk is weak and can be easily challenged in the event of an incident. With all that being said I’ve been staying here as well as dining in the restaurant and when I was an owner operator I bought fuel here for close to 23 years. Tonight was my last night. This is what’s happening to the mom and pops businesses when they sell out to the Punjabi’s. Between dinner and parking it was $32.51 I think it’s a bit much.

The fried chicken was definitely worth the wait! Was a little bummed out that both types of cobbler were sold out. Guess I need to get there earlier next time! 😉
AJ C — Google review
The cafe was good but to charge a driver $15 or spend $30 in store is awful. If you are so worried about drivers fueling at QT and parking here, lower your prices on fuel. Simple. Pictures taken on 4-27-25

I haven’t been here in a long time . And I definitely won’t be back. I sat at the little counter and the waitress waited on others that came in after me on there to go orders, not mine. Service at this place is no where near what it used to be. Definitely not being treated like I’m not good enough
