The Strong National Museum of Play completely lives up to its name — it’s pure fun, learning, and nostalgia rolled into one. We went as a family with both adults and kids, and every one of us had different favorites — which says everything about how much there is to do here. The exhibits are hands-on, creative, and thoughtfully designed, from the classic toys and video games to the pretend play areas and immersive displays. You could easily spend the whole day here and still find new things to explore. The only downside was that the bathrooms could have been cleaner — no soap first thing in the morning and a few stalls looked like they hadn’t been checked since the night before. Hopefully just a timing issue, because everything else was fantastic. The staff were friendly, the layout was well-organized, and the entire experience was memorable from start to finish. We can’t wait to come back — we’re planning for another full day!

This is the best place for kids (and me!)😁 It has the largest areas of play for kids at different ages. It entertains, teaches and inspires my kids. It's such a cool place and I would love to come here a few times a week! I wished the membership was cheaper though.

Best children’s museum I’ve ever been to! We stopped on our way back from the Midwest, going to New England, and my husband is already wanting to plan a trip to Rochester next year, just to spend more time at the museum! My son who was 1.5yo when we visited, LOVED it! I like how there’s activities for kids at every age (even adult nostalgia), and there’s even an outside area for kids to run around in (enclosed).

Outstanding National Treasure in the middle of Rochester! I went to the museum with my 4 year old granddaughter on Monday when senior rates are in effect. It is not cheap and family membership makes more sense than paying admission only a few times a year. It takes several days to appreciate the enormous amount of exhibits housed at the Strong. Parking is $10 on top of admission without a membership. I have been to art and science museums around the world and this museum blew me away. Can't say enough good things about it. Go, just go. Had such a great time that I didn't take many pictures; I was too enthralled with the displays and activities for young and old.

Had a great experience at the Strong Museum! My kids had a blast—there were tons of fun activities for them. I especially enjoyed seeing the classic games from the ’90s, like the pinball machines. Brought back memories! Pretty sure the new generation has no idea how to play some of those, but it was fun showing them.

This was the first time visiting and well worth it. The history of games is deep and will keep you very entertained. The staff was very friendly and the food choices varied. I would have liked access to a reference room with books and possibly a game software catalog. Definitely worth visiting again. Great museum for one or the entire family.

This was our second time visiting with our son. First time he was 2 years old and he had a great time. This visit he's now 7 years old and was able to enjoy different parts of the museum that cater to his age. He even got to have fun in some of the same sections he did as a 2 year old. This museum is really one of my favorites. It's fun for the whole family, not just the little ones. The history of video games and the history of board games really stands out for me. Very clean and easy to navigate. Highly recommend! My son would also like to add his words: "Most museums we only go to once, but this museum is far away from us, and we want to go to it a lot of times. The Strong Museum of Play is really fun. I love all the sections and could spend a whole day there. Can't wait to go back!"

Location which hosts the Rochester Party in the Park concerts. Great time on a nice summer night! Need to maneuver to a spot where you have a view of the stage, but overall a decent venue.

I attended the Melvin Seals/ Dogs in A Pile show on Thursday. Ticketmaster tickets said 5:00. I tried to inquire with venue as to door time several times prior to show with no success. So I assume 4:00 and get there to ensure seat in VIP. I found out upon arrival venue opens at 5, VIP 6. So we waited for 2 hours in 100 degree heat so we’d have a seat in VIP. We did get a table… behind the speakers and sound. Not happy won’t return

Thought this would be more stunning that what it was. The fountain of feature was barely working and not filled to capacity. There was trash stewn about everywhere. The pond was in decent condition. The whole area needed some attention the day I stopped. Wouldn't make this a stop.

This is a monumental urban park with a lot of Rochester historical events: Battle-of-the-Band, Garth Fagan Summer dances, Christmas-n-the Park, Thursday's Bands-n-the Park. There is also a wading pool, a dynamic rental space for special events in the lower quad & an ice skating rink during the colder months. I feel that the City of Rochester could provide a MORE 'detailed maintenance service' at this site for beautification purposes. It's sad that the MLK Park after so many years of quality entertainment has slidered to this depth of desolation. 🥺

Yes, it is definitely worth checking out. Bring the kids, or don't. Fun for all. Food trucks, ice skating, a lodge, games, drinks, heaters, shops and more...

We're from Massachusetts and cane here to see a concert, Gov't Mule and Trombone Shorty. They were great. The park was fabulous. Quaint and had waterfalls! Just a fun place to visit!

Super dope experience at the summer concerts! Food was great and vibes were awesome!

The ambiance is fantastic, and the food is delicious. However, securing a bowling lane can be a bit challenging especially on the weekends. The bar staff and the gaming counter staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s an excellent spot for a date night or a family gathering.

Very nice place to have fun with friends and family! There’s two bars, freshly done pizzas, a huge bowling alley, pool table, arcade games and other fun backyard like games. There’s an outdoor area with fire pits and the atmosphere is very nice! Only reason for the 4 stars is that bowling was overpriced ($50) but that could be fixed if you go in with a big group. I was impressed by the size of the place and how busy it was. It was a nice experience!

Cute little hangout place. A bit on the pricey side but loads of fun. I've only ever gone to birthday parties here but it's always a good time and who doesn't enjoy bowling? I love that they sometimes have live music outside as well! Added bonus that it's kid friendly aside from the bar area up front.

We played bowling and then ate for a friends birthday, it was a huge success. Would recommend. The food was very good, we ordered the lamb, halloumi, feta pizza and babaganoush. Most of us enjoyed our drinks, they aren’t very sweet, but are very one of a kind and exquisite. The server was super nice. The water was delicious! Overall slightly overpriced but worth it!

Really love this place! We’ve been twice to bowl, once to eat. Minor issue with the screens not working, but they comped our visit - it’s not about falling down, it’s how you recover, and they were so nice and proactive and apologetic. Service in the restaurant was great. Food is good. Lots of larger groups have parties here, and during the winter months they have an awesome flea market on Sundays!

Had been to this place for the 2024 New Year party, and it was really great! We played bowling for a while and enjoyed the pizza and fries. Then, I enjoyed the live music till the clock ticked 12AM. This place is really great for hangout. It has definitely become our hangout place already!

Went for Sunday brunch. I thought it was all very good, but not perfect. We got a lot of items. The lemon waffle was delicious and delicate, though very sweet, I couldn't have more than a small amount. The crispy potatoes were wonderful and the dipping sauces were delicious. The pork schnitzel itself was a little underwhelming, but it was in a delicious bed of some kind of sauce. The lamb pandensal was very tasty but a bit salty. The crab dip was wonderful. The breakfast pizza seemed small and maybe on the dry side, but was tasty overall. The house donut was a perfect treat to end the meal with. Their coffee was pretty good too, it's nice to see that there's attention to details like that. I also enjoyed the Pimms cup I had. One thing I found quite disappointing was the khachapuri. I've had Georgian cheese bread before and this was not it. The dough was flat, dense, and chewy. It felt like they tried to use some kind of pastry dough maybe? It felt undercooked. The bread is supposed to have a nice crispy crust and a bready, fluffy filling.

The appetizer was the standout at this restaurant, truly the only highlight. The pizza was average, and the lasagna was disappointing with no meat. The service was exceptional, and the table setup was charming, with a nice brick wall as a backdrop. However, the atmosphere was overwhelming—tables were packed too tightly, so you could hear every conversation around you. The loud, chaotic vibe made it unbearable. This isn’t a place I’d return to for a date. We ended up getting a much tastier pizza elsewhere, and the high prices here didn’t match the food or ambiance.

We were really disappointed with our visit. The food didn’t match our expectations in either taste or presentation, especially considering the high price point. The menu lacked clear descriptions, so we were surprised by what we received — and not in a good way. The garlic bread was burnt and bitter. Almost every dish came overloaded with salad, including the grilled octopus (a very tiny portion) and the white fish, which was unexpectedly deep-fried in mostly batter and tasted off. If we had known that every main came with so much salad, we wouldn’t have ordered a separate salad appetizer. The pasta was overly salty and lacked flavor. While the service was friendly, the overall dining experience just didn’t justify the price. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

I visited Rocco for the first time last Friday and loved it! Amazing food, cocktails and service. I ordered lasagna pizzaola and asked for meatballs on the side. All star dish and the sauce was perfect. My friends let me taste their dishes-- smoked pork chops with sauerkraut and cod with creamy horseradish sauce. They were outstanding!

Nice atmosphere with friendly staff and owner and welcoming regulars at the bar as you walk in. Good specials and knowledgeable waiter who was their chef before. Food was solid but toast was overcooked and burnt. Serves until 10 so good for a late night dinner.

Walked in host looked at us for like 5 mins didn’t say a word …I was like um..we need a table? We seemed unwelcome. There was plenty of seating available. He didn’t even respond so we just sat at the bar table then a rude lady server came up to me asking me do you have a reservation? I was like no we just dropped in do we need one? She was like no it’s not necessary. So then I said fine can you get me a menu? Bartender was nice at least. I ate a $24 dollar fish plate that came with wierd salad that was a bit disappointing in the quality and the fried fish was 80 % batter we also ordered Spaghetti and Peppers looked like a child’s plate when it came to the portion. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

This is nice cosy fancy italian restaurant and we did like the menu. We did like the selection of plates in the menu and the atmosphere of this place and more to count the very friendle service of their associates. I could said the place is small cozy and romantic but the food and service was big and great. We did love it!

Rocco gave me E-VER-Y-THING that I needed! The service was absolutely fantastic, the food was incredible and we all enjoyed the intimate atmosphere! The squid was my favorite dish and it was cooked to perfection! We definitely found a new place to dine!!! Ooo wee! 😍😍😍😍😍 I will say, the facility is smaller, so if you are a plus sized with a disability or even a group make sure to asked to be seated at tables.

Went here with my fiancé to celebrate that we are getting married in a few days and this was the place we went on our first date 7 years ago. Had a reservation for 6:30pm on a Tuesday night. As the hostess sat us down I noticed there were a few servers working but the section we got sat in our server was focused on a large party. We had our water poured, but we sat there for at least 15 minutes before our server greeted us. She was too focused on the big table she had, which I understood at the time. What frustrated me is that all the tables that got sat after us had their food, drinks, dessert, and checks way before us, and no one seemed to care about our table or at least acknowledge that they were busy. Unfortunately, we didn’t end up getting our appetizer until 7:30pm and then our entrees until 8:05pm. I’ve worked in several restaurants and hospitality businesses throughout my life and I understand when places get slammed because of big tables. I feel as though the hostess messed up and put us in the wrong section. The whole night we felt like a complete afterthought and our server was no where to be found. We didn’t end up leaving until 8:30pm because it took her so long to get our check and to-go boxes. Overall the food was good but was ruined by such an awful service experience that I’m not disappointed I hadn’t been here in a little over 7 years. I hate leaving reviews like this but I’m so sad that what was supposed to be a cute night was ruined by this lack of planning. Everyone around us seemed happy though and their server was attentive. We were hoping to try the desserts and get coffee but had other plans and being there for 2 hours and waiting over an hour and a half for dinner was enough for us. I hope this isn’t their normal operation, especially on a random Tuesday night.

We went last Friday night. We ordered an Appetizer, drinks and we both ordered a steak. The service was very slow and we felt forgotten several times. I ordered a ribeye steak medium rare and it was very tough and didn't have enough seasoning, especially salt. Overall, there are much nicer restaurants that are better priced.

This is supposed to be one of rochester's nicest restaurants. The service and the people there are impeccably sociable and extremely attentive to your needs. The atmosphere is warm and inviting.The food is very good, but I wouldn't consider it outstanding for the prices they charge. This is more of a destination and atmosphere place to be seen.

Nice spot with a great view of the river if sitting outside. Some classic Italian staples with quality ingredients and a skilled bartender.

We normally LOVE Pane Vino, but our most recent visit was simply not great. I ordered one of the specials, and it was not described accurately. The first error was that the server incorrectly stated the type of fish being served - which was no big deal to me, as she caught it after I ordered and came over to clarify. The more prominent issue was that it was not described as being an excessively spicy dish, as most restaurants will typically warn you of this. When my meal came, I tried to push through it - but it was inedible for me due to the extreme heat. I am usually quite tolerate of spicy, but this dish was loaded with hot peppers. Thankfully they were able to swap out that part of the meal for me - and the fish was still great. The other less than satisfactory part of our visit was that, as a party of two - amongst other much larger parties, we felt that we were not properly serviced. Other parties that came in after us received their bread, and placed their orders before us. When I initially commented on the spiciness of my meal, the server promised to keep my water full vs replace the dish. My water was NOT kept full, and we then had to ask to swap out the pasta. I'm not sure what happened but it seemed like we fell through the cracks even moreso after making the polite "complaint". Once we were finished with our meals, we waited another 30 minutes for the check - even though the server said she would be right back with it and then went by our table at least a half dozen times before arriving with the check.

Beautiful setting on the Genesee River. Restaurant was decorated nicely for Halloween 🎃. Excellent menu tasteful presentation. Service was very good

The manager was wonderful! I called to set up a surprise anniversary dinner for my parents and she made sure everything was perfect. Everything went great and my parents had a wonderful time! They loved the food and the staff made sure their night was special.

Had a great experience here! The atmosphere is really nice, especially the porch seating—perfect for enjoying a beautiful day. The staff were warm and welcoming. The food overall was solid—I’d give it an 8/10. The lentil soup wasn’t what I expected; it was unblended and quite lime-forward, which might be a hit or miss depending on your taste. The chicken gyro, on the other hand, was fantastic—fresh, hot, crispy, and loaded with flavor and sauce. Portion sizes were generous too. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone in Rochester craving Mediterranean food.

I absolutely love my waitress. She was so knowledgeable about food allergies and being upfront about everything. They help me customize a dish so I would be able to eat it with food allergies. The lamb was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly when you say rare they actually cook it rare. I tried the yogurt soup that they had and I didn't love that but I'm happy that I tried it. They had so many different options of things to try and all the flavors were so unique. I highly recommend coming here and I would definitely come back here again. Even better is that the food wait time was only like 5 minutes which was amazing.

Location, parking, food and service are all excellent. I was on a visit to Rochester from India. Ordered pure vegetarian food. Portions are large. When we had to pack a part of our order, more Pita bread were added too for free. It’s an authentic Mediterranean restaurant.

We had a group of seven including a six year old. They had to move a few tables together and gave us the option of adding a small round table or adding a chair at the end. That in itself wasn’t all that important, but the owner came out to make sure everything was perfect. He even hung up my coat. We got several dishes and shared them around the table. All were very tasty and one of my top requirements for any restaurant was there, the food came out hot. Yay! But again, the food was great. The server was very attentive for all of our needs. The owner came out to make sure everything was perfect and saw the six year old being a bit picky, and he brought out a separate small plate of unseasoned chicken for her. He was extremely thoughtful. Sorry pictures of the food.

Loved it! My friend and I shared a delicious early dinner. Our table was outside and felt very cozy and comfortable. Fish was flavorful served with delicious Greek salad (dressing was on point). The combo plate was big and Mediterranean classy. My favorite was Tabouli salad and babaganoush. Thank you for the great food and hospitality 🫶

Sinbad’s is one of my favorite spots in Rochester. It’s consistently good, affordable, and reliable. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Batata, Hummus, and Chicken Kabab, and everything was fresh and flavorful as always. The hummus is creamy, the chicken is perfectly seasoned, and the Batata adds a great texture and balance to the meal. Service is quick and friendly, and even during busy hours, it’s usually easy to grab a table without much of a wait. Definitely one of the best dining options in the city if you're looking for great Mediterranean food without breaking the bank.

I was visiting on a business trip from Texas. The venue is great. Get a reservation to sit on the balcony and see the waterfall. We tried a few different beers and they were all good. Food was okay but rather typical. Beer was the focus. Enjoy

A friend recommended Genesee Brew House after I mentioned wanting to check out downtown Rochester. We ordered the mushroom burger and the Spaetzle Mac & Cheese. Maybe my expectations were a bit high because it came so highly recommended, but overall, I was disappointed. The burger was overcooked, and for $17 I was surprised it came with chips instead of fries. You can substitute fresh fries, but it costs an extra $3, which feels a bit much. The mac & cheese had good cheese flavor, but it was so heavy and rich that it was hard to finish — it tasted more like something reheated in a microwave than freshly made. The service was also just average — not terrible, but not particularly friendly or attentive either. The view from the place is nice, but for the food quality, service, and price, I don’t think it’s worth it. If I go back, I’ll probably try something else on the menu.

The Genesee Brew House regularly appears on online lists of the best places to eat in Rochester and for good reason. The food and drinks are absolutely delicious and the service is very friendly. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant has amazing views of High Falls and downtown which makes for a very nice dining experience.

Great brewery! We walked through the enormous gift shop, learned a bit about the brewery and headed straight to the tasting room. We had a flight of 5 beers which were all amazing! Ended up buying crowlers of the chocolate ale, so delicious!

It's a fun but loud environment. Wonderful views from the rooftop. The beers are also good. The food is passable for Rochester in general.

This is a must see if in the Rochester area. Beer selection is great and always very frosty! Food is great and staff is always friendly. Don't miss the roof top deck with a view of the downtown waterfall.

I had this on my bucket list for quite sometime! I finally did it on Father’s Day weekend!!! The place is amazing and the beer is good!!! The menu is ok and prices are modest compared to other restaurants. The choices are a bit limited on the food but plenty choices for the house beer! I enjoyed my chicken wings and one pint of the Genesee Beer Blonde!!

We try to visit the local market whenever we are travelling and we were pleasantly surprised by the Rochester Public Market. We had our visit on a Saturday morning and it was quite busy. There is limited parking at the market and cars are parked on the streets and in parking lots surrounding it. The produce was abundant and delicious. 🫑🌶️🍒🍅🥬🍓 There were spices, honey, jewellery and a variety of prepared foods.

My friends and I attended Drag on the Bricks at the Public Market. I have also been to Bands on the Bricks. The venue has a lot of parking, but a large section is usually blocked off so people have to park across the street. The stage set-up was fine, but the VIP section was off to the side of the stage, which did not feel like VIP at all. The queens put on a great show, battling through the heat. Massage chairs were available in VIP, which one my friends used and was quite pleased. Food was limited, especially for people with food restrictions. However, what was available tasted good. We all had a great time and would probably go again.

One of my favorite places to visit in Rochester. They have special events throughout the year including festivals and art shows.

Love this place! They have a variety of options for produce, cheeses, snacks, flowers, and other items. There are also coffee shops and stores within the public market area. Prices are good and the people are very nice. This is also a great activity for a weekend to go with friends or family. I definitely recommend going as switch up from Wegmans.

Had the joy of meeting some really cool people, MOSS’ PRODUCE is where I stopped first and met Mr Thomas and Mr brown , just amazing people that give it their best to keep us eating healthy and with super reasonable prices. Then it was off to see Mr Vinny and what a light he is too. Just super awesome to see someone so amazing. When I told him to “keep the change” he gave me a cantaloupe and I whispered in his ear “ thank you 🙏, but I ‘can’t elope’ I’m already married” and he started laughing 😂…..older produce man is a great experience for anyone….Mr Thomas was so on point as I leveled his table the best I could, and he’s very gracious . This was a great experience for me 🙏

The public market is such a fun experience. I attend almost every Saturday. Vendors are so kind and love to chat with buyers. Inside the building is always clean and warm. From veggies/fruits to meats and seafood the market has something for someone. Little shops around it for delish meals. Open all year long Tues, Thurs and Sat. Sundays they have alternative events, as well as Food truck rodeo on wed during the summer.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Memorial Art Gallery. It has a decent and diverse collection that’s worth exploring. However, a couple of things could be improved. Many paintings on the first floor didn’t have any descriptions, which made it hard to fully appreciate them. Also, the ancient Middle East section is placed in a bad spot in the museum. Besides, it has very beautiful manuscripts and relics, but the lack of lighting didn’t do them justice (shown in one of the photos). Still, overall a nice place to spend a few hours.

A gem of a place. I went knowing very little about the Gallery, other than it was organized thematically. I found works that I've only seen online. To say that my heart felt deep happiness doesn't describe that visceral feeling when art touches you. It's different for everyone. And indeed, there is something for everyone! Many time periods, styles and regions are represented: thematically, by countries, techniques and centuries. The presentation on the Italian Baroque Organ was marvelous. To be surrounded by the genre paintings, made it easier to imagine that this was part of daily life. Be sure to check the time 3pm on the actual date, not the general description that incorrectly says 3:30pm.

We love this museum both inside and out! We have taken so many pictures in their outdoor sculpture park! We most recently went for their Pride celebration. They have scavenger hunts for the kids both inside and outside! The Rotating gallery is always worth checking out! ;)

Well arranged and comprehensive gallery for a medium-sized city. Particularly great selection of Renaissance paintings, some great post-impressionist works. The organ is spectacular. Stunning building as a backdrop. Great display of local, contemporary artists.

A beautiful and well balanced collection. A must see. Larger than one would expect so give yourself enough time to appreciate its offerings.

While I enjoyed all the available art this is the piece that truly spoke to me. I am AuDHD and when I saw this I was like hey..... Thats my brain! It felt so validating to see this representation display in such a great place as the Memorial Art Gallery and I would be willing to bet many others do too.

Amazing records cds, and tape store. Plus the have a full bar and stage area! I had the pleasure of catching a 1916 acoustic set. thanks to 94.1 the zone for putting it on.

We were so lucky to be able to book the Backroom Lounge for our 20th wedding anniversary! The space is amazing, with tons of seating, games to play, and a cool/quirky vibe. The staff was fantastic from set-up to helping us pack up the leftovers (catering options are AWESOME!) We had the best time and wholeheartedly recommend this venue! Thanks so much to everyone at Record Archive who helped create exactly the event we had hoped for!

Love this store. Record Archive is the embodiment of everything that is great about recorded physical media. You can get lost in this place, yet it’s beautifully organized so that you can find (usually) many copies of almost anything in existence. Fair prices, conservative record grading, and friendly staff. A great place to spend an afternoon for sure.

Very wide selection of various forms of media. Was able to grab several records that I have been looking for. Still rating 5 stars despite an experience I had with one of the employees when I came in on 8/24/25. I was in line waiting to be cashed out behind several other folks as the store was closing, and I forgot to grab an album I saw earlier and simply didn’t add to my pile. I ran back to grab it and as I was walking up the ramp to get back into the line, one of the workers yelled “We are closed.” Like yeah, I get it. I’d want to leave to if my job was closing for the day, but what did he want me to do? I couldn’t pay yet because no cashier was available, so I opted to go and spend more money. Additionally, I was already walking back up the ramp into the line. Just didn’t sit right with me as I then spent around $250. I’ll be back because of the available records and the other employees were great

Personally, I was VERY Satisfied with Everything about this Wendy's Location, Employees and the Cleanliness. I understand I showed up at the very end of the College Lunch Hour and everyone except me, seemed to be in a little hurry. The Cashier was "Very" Polite, The Shift/Floor Manager was also very professional and, My order was made Quickly, Quietly and Without ANY Mistakes. Wendy's Original Cheeseburger, Medium Toasted Fries and one Medium Size, Delicious Old'Fashion Frosty. Even though I don't live here in Rochester; IF I EVER DO Return and I'm craving "Wendy's" Then, it's HERE I'll return to.

I've never had a successful order from this location. Something is always incorrect/missing. Wrong flavor, or entirely wrong item. I've ordered the potatoes from Wendys for years, and only have had issues with receiving them since I moved to Rochester and order from this location. They usually end up giving me cold fries with cheese and bacon on them. I've tried multiple times and it's the same thing every time. Along with frosty flavors usually being entirely wrong too. Always a fun time when it's a flavor I can't have and have to waste it entirely. Maybe its a nitpick, but I would really like the items I ordered and not "yeah this is close enough." The coffee is fine, at least.

Selling a spicy chicken not meant for even an animal. I go back for my money and the manager does not have the authority to give me my money back. Disgraceful and disgusting. Unfortunately I noticed after going back to work.

OK so myself and my girlfriend went in around 9pm expecting to get better service than the drive though. The woman at the counter never acknowledged us as she was "stocking" fry cups(which she dropped repeatedly, on the floor). Gave no notice that we were there, waiting patiently. She then gave us a glance, grabbed a cup, and exclaimed that she was going on break and left us standed there. OK, sure I get that working at fast food isn't great. What I can only guess is the manager that then took our order. The staff was having a good time talking and laughing in the back. After what was not, fast food, we got our bags and wanted to get out of there. My GF ordered the promotional Takis chicken sandwich meal that she was hyped about (shout out to Freaking Reviews guy). No shake seasoning for the fries, which is what Wendy's promoted. My No.7 order was also messed up, no bacon, cold fried beef pattys looked nuclear. Both our orders were 'day-old-frys'. The place should be shut down. The counter was not wiped down, the Frosty machine was dripping goo with over flowing cups nexted to it, we joked about the sound our shoes made on the floor. For reference I am a restaurant manger and ServSafe certified. DO NOT GO! Would give a 0 if I could and should not even be open for human or pet consumption. I would not feed this to my worst enemy. Oh and I got the runs. .

Went around ~12:30am via mobile order then drive through. Line took at least half an hour. When I got to the food window, they didn't even have the food made yet even though I mobile ordered half an hour ago. They gave me my shake first with no straw so it just sat melting in the car while I waited 15 minutes for the food. They then said they couldn't make my burger at all and gave me fries instead (price-wise not equivalent at all). When I got my bag, there was no straw or spoon for my shake and a ketchup container had spilled all over everything. I understand late night service can be tough but this is below even a basic standard.

If I could give zero, I would. I submitted a mobile order for drive thru pick up at 744 e.main st. I made sure I was at the right location. The lady in drive thru told me they had not received my order and by the time I pulled up to the window it should be there. But the travel time was already 10 mins prior to getting there. I asked if I should come in and was told that would be better. I get inside with my baby and explain the situation to the young lady at the counter who gave me attitude the entire time. She asked someone else to take it over for her. He too gave me attitude the whole time. I explained that I submitted a mobile order for drive thru pick up, asked him if the address there was 744 e. Main. He said yes. I showed him the screen where it says my order was submitted and already paid for. He asked me to pull up the receipt. I wasn’t sure how to and asked for his help and he rolled his eyes and said nah they don’t specialize in the app. I understood there were customers needed to be taken care of, so while I was trying to figure out how to pull up the complete order, I stepped aside for others to be taken care of. Once I had figured it out and the lines were cleared I sat at the counter for 20 mins while the young lady kept avoiding me and whispering to her boyfriend across the counter and rolling her eyes at me every time we made eye contact and running to the back to look busy. The guy as well kept looking over to me and I would wave my phone to let him know I got it pulled up and he would turn away from me. Again I waited 20 mins and was just going to ask for a refund. He finally came up to me and asked what was in the order and proceeded to make it. Once he brought me the bag I asked about the frosty and drinks. He asked what I meant so I showed the order again. Realized I ordered the limited time meal that included a cherry syrup drizzle, vanilla frosty and still gave me a regular vanilla frosty. Told him I ordered a medium drink and kids juice box and he gave me a twisted look at yelled at the young lady to give me my medium cup so I could “get the hell out of here.” Not sure what I was doing wrong I was even trying to be respectful of the fact that they were working hard and it wasn’t their fault the order didnt show up on their end. But I was given attitude and treated horribly the whole time.

It’s called “fast-food” for a reason. Waited 15-20 minutes for a Dave single & to order of fries - unacceptable. Was for a friend and turned into an absolute time-consuming nightmare. Nice guests in restaurant at least, had nice conversation, but no one could believe how long everything took.

Omg the peach jerk pizza is UNBELIEVABLE! One of the best I’ve ever had. Created in-house by Luis, the sweetness of the peaches perfectly complements the slight kick of the jerk chicken. Highly recommend!

Great place to grab a quick slice or two. They have a large variety of pies displayed to pick from. They put the slice back in the oven so you have a nice hot slice. Pizza is always on point with flavor.

I know it's unfair to judge an entire establishment by the employees you come in contact with during your visit, so I'll point out that this is directed at the crew working 05/05/25 around 3:30pm. Called and was put on hold approximately 10 times. I was on my way there anyway and couldnt get anyone to answer the phone so I just went in, ordered a pepperoni cheese pizza, paid and was told 20 minutes. Went to pick up the pizza 20 minutes later and they said they didn't have a pepperoni pizza so they handed me a cheese pizza and said "you should be happy, it's cheaper". I didn't get a receipt so I don't know if I was charged for just a cheese pizza, but regardless someone on their end managed to screw up an order as simple as a pepperoni pizza. My daughter only eats pepperoni so I had to make her a separate dinner which was the whole point of getting pizza for dinner, so I didn't have to cook. All that being said, the pizza isn't anything to write home about. Go to Cordellos, they never disappoint.

Had the worse experience from an employee ever at this place last night. I had to call 911 due to a female employee trying to assault my husband. However, he called it off. I would not go to this place because if employees are allowed to act this way who knows what they are allowed to do to your food when angry. We had ordered a $30 medium pizza here, and he received a text that it was ready. My husband went in and told an employee his name, and that he received a text his pizza was ready. He then waited 25 minutes while employees talked to each other (he was the only customer). He saw pizzas on the oven, one having his phone number, thus he was upset he sat there 25 minutes as the pizza sat there. He cursed to himself, and this female employee went off on him telling him to get out. I believe anyone would be even more upset when they’ve waited 25 minutes while employees didn’t do their job, so this lead to an argument between him and her. Another employee ended up giving him the pizza, and as he left the female employee threw a water bottle at him. I had to call 911 because of how helpless I felt seeing my husband so upset. Throwing a water bottle at someone is attempted assault, which is a misdemeanor. Do not go here. Who knows what this woman will try to do to you. All she has to do is apologize, hand him the pizza, and ask him not to swear next time he visits. He didn’t swear at anyone or call anyone a name. Then everything would have been fine.

I have been goin to the pizza shop for 30 years and all I have to say is I was very disappointed and I know Jim would be disappointed too The way the young people that work there would treat a client all because I asked for another plate for me and my grandson, also the young man that was in the register try to charge me $16 for two slices and two cokes after he saw that I was getting uncomfortable he decided to change the price. I live in the Bronx but I have been a contractor for the federal government (court reporter) and I brought my grandson upstate to see that we Bronx natives eat N.Y.C pizza even upstate because I know Jim is from the city too. I promise my self Will wait till I get back to N. Y. C to eat pizza and I will miss your pizza also I know you don't care but I remember when my Dad left me a gas station and I screw it up because I was young and thought the consumer never has the right so please I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else and thanks for the beautiful 30 years eating Jim's pizza

I’ve been going there for about 2 years now and it has been my favorite place to get pizza in Rochester! Chris has been a consistent and very pleasant individual to see each time I go there. He is usually the one that manages the slices and his customer service is amazing! Also, Carisha at the register is extremely nice and keeps a smile that radiates positive energy. I highly recommend this place to eat just make sure you have a good parking spot.

Our server Roberto was great! The food needed seasoning. The parmigiana (eggplant and zucchini) was bland, the sauce tasted like straight crushed tomato and the eggplant was tough. The salad and risotto were both good. The pizza was a disappointment, bland and soggy. The best part of the meal was the cappuccino.

Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill. The cocktails were great, but everything else was basic and boring at best. The pear and goat cheese cheese salad was fine but pears were under ripe, the parmigiana appetizer was just okay (not enough sauce, pretty bland overall), the pizza was soggy, and the garganelli cauliflower pasta with pancetta was basically inedible I had to send it back and I never do that - the bechamel sauce was thin and flavorless and the pancetta wasn’t cooked properly. You’re supposed to render the fat and crisp it up and instead it was kind of cold and chewy. Service was slow, but our server was okay and she offered to take the pasta off the bill without me asking which I appreciated. Also the bread they threw on the table was stale! I hope they can improve.

Delicious meal at Fiamma Centro. From appetizers to dessert, everything was top notch. Rigatoni was outstanding. Warm atmosphere and attentive service from well trained staff. A gem.

We went around 8:30 PM and saw the restaurant nearly 80% empty, but were told all tables were reserved so we had to sit at the bar. We dined there for about an hour, and by the time we left, it was even emptier — no large party ever came in, and it’s hard to believe one would at that late hour for dinner. The grilled octopus was tough and salty. The pizza had a big section burnt to carbon, so the strongest taste was the burnt flavor. Scraping that off, the pizza itself was pretty good, but overall the food and experience were a bit disappointing.

Ordered the mussels last night (Tuesday night). The mussels tasted fishy and foul. They were served in a bowl of spicy Jalapeno marinara so it was hard to detect by smell but the taste was bad. After refusing the dish, the server confirmed that the mussels had arrived 5 days earlier on Thursday. I am writing this as a warning. Bad mussels can cause terrible illness. Mussels at this restaurant tend to arrive Thursday to be eaten by the weekend.

This place has the best pizza I have ever eaten. My sister got the lobster special and she said she has never gotten so much lobster in a dish. We both had a fantastic experience and loved the food. I highly recommend the pizza. It’s fantastic, the ingredients were so fresh and flavorful!!!!

This place was fantastic! 10/10 would recommend! Service was extremely quick, the food was excellent, and the drinks were great! I accidentally left my leftover pizza on the table and was very upset about it, so we cannot wait to come back!

I only gave three stars for atmosphere because it was kind of crowded and everyone was a little bit loud but that's not exactly on the restaurant. Our server was Lydia G and she was phenomenal! Very attentive and very professional. The food was out of this world. Included are pictures of my zero proof cocktail because I don't drink and the steak medallions I had.

I've never been here before this night. Dinner was spectacular. I had the French Dip Burger. Our server Hayley was 100% on point, attentive, and accommodating, despite how busy it seemed to be. I can't wait to go back and try something different.

It's a laid back atmosphere. the people are friendly. Courteous, and do the best they can. I think you will enjoy this if you've never been there. It's great for special occasions.

It's your average cheesecake factory, but the decor and vibes at night are certainly worth it. The servers are kind like stupid nice. We had free rye and white bread loaves with butter. There was a really good looking bar near the front. I personally had Sheilas chicken Avocado salad it is tangy and enjoyable, definitely not bland. It's on the sweeter side of salads and um..over a 1000 calories but if your eating here let's be honest. Nobody looks at the calories and for your own mental health... DONT Anyways atleast it's a high in volume Other people with me notes: Chicken Alfredo pizza style was kinda bland 3 other people with me have the salmon, they said it was done right. Cajun salmon is delicous was all they noted, one said the broccoli and with their meal wasn't steamed enough though

Every dish is delicious! Service is always great! Especially Christian! We love eating on patio. But the decor is nice on inside. The Rigatoni mushroom & sausage and Steak Diane are outstanding.

So delicious and so fresh! Many different food choices for any picky eater. The staff is super friendly and efficient! This is definitely one of my favorite places to dine.

pittsford, Cheesecake Factory is my favorite people always give me gift certificates just because I enjoy going there. The waiters are great that administration and supervisors are very personable and of course the food ! my favorite is the sesame ginger chicken. It’s on the skinny licious menu and I don’t feel guilty eating it. They also accommodate me with my request in some changes to it and bring Service with a smile. They have great specials if you’re part of their rewards program and I have used them multiple times.

Situated along the historic Erie canal, this is a wonderful place to dine on a late summer day. The Mediterranean food is fresh and filling. Dining on the outside terrace overlooking the canal is truly a delightful experience. My wife opted for the Gyro plate and raved about the tzatziki sauce! I decided on the moussaka which I thoroughly enjoyed! Our personable waiter provided top-notch service!

I went here for lunch on a summer Saturday. Weather was beautiful we decided to eat outside. Portion sizing was very ginormous and filling. Only issue I had was the bugs, we were right next to a tree and the canal. The bees kept flying into my food. Suggest maybe enclosed screen. Yes I would return

Great experience. We were seated on the upper porch overlooking the canal. Our server Kiera was frankly one of the most enjoyable, polite and friendly server I have run into in a long time. She must really love her work there. Anyway, great food, great atmosphere, great location with lots of free parking close by. Do it!

It was the first time coming here. Very disappointed. There were mushrooms not cleaned and not cooked. 🤮 No salt in our dishes. Please don’t be fooled by the view. Horrible. Would never return. The waiter was nice.

Love the food. Great portions and something for everyone. Gluten-free options. Wine and beer to go with every dish. Staff friendly and service 10+. If you have room for desserts, great selection. After the meal, a nice stroll by the canal is perfect.

My wife and I stopped by on a busy afternoon, but we were seated quickly and our food arrived surprisingly fast. We had never eaten here before, but we will definitely be back. Their grilled chicken and gyro meat are excellent.

This charming, rustic dairy lives up to its reputation. We tried the Chocolate Almond Fudge and Lake My Day ice cream—both phenomenal. The sweet–salty balance of the fillings complements the ice cream’s light creaminess and rich flavor beautifully. Beyond ice cream, the store offers fresh baked goods, dairy products, and a nostalgic country-store vibe. Prices for fresh food and desserts are quite reasonable, but packaged/gift-wrapped items—like a small pack of shortbread cookies at $11—can be steep.

I’m giving this place 5 stars because the ice cream is delicious and I’ve never had issues before—except today. Unfortunately, the worker who took our order for a simple cookie dough cone had us waiting for over 20 minutes. During that time, he kept looking at us repeatedly, but never said a word or gave us any explanation. We were patient and made eye contact several times, expecting at least the courtesy of being acknowledged, but he just kept working on other orders—even though others who ordered more complicated items were served right away. It felt dismissive and disrespectful since he clearly knew we were waiting. When we finally asked another worker for help, she kindly called out, “Is anyone making a cookie dough for this person?” He was standing right there, looked at us, and still said nothing. No apology, no explanation—just silence. Honestly, who knows how much longer we would’ve been ignored if we hadn’t spoken up. Maybe it was an off day for him, but the lack of acknowledgment and basic courtesy made the experience unnecessarily frustrating. It was flat out disrespectful, even if he hadn’t intended it to be. Please address this with the staff so other customers don’t go through the same thing. Thank you.

A nice looking store. Parking lots is small. They sell milk, bakery, ice cream, coffee, honey etc... Price is a bit high. I ordered double ice cream cheesecake flavor which is so so. I got a fried cake (aka donut), the flavor was alright but it seemed to be sit for a while so it was dried. They have indoor and outdoor tables. Staff are friendly

I bought my first half gallon today… I love the old school glass. But WOW!!! The taste is soo fresh and delicious!! Only milk I will be buying from now on! Love to support local business with such a great product!!

I tried the chocolate almond fudge. It was rich in flavor and delicious. I liked the almond chunks in ice cream. As others have pointed out, you can’t sample flavors before purchasing, which wasn’t an issue for me. I just wish there were more options for health-conscious individuals. I’d like to see some sugar-free ice cream. There’s a bakery and market at the location too. I’ll check out more items soon and update my review later. Additionally, it was busy on a Saturday, but I found a parking spot easily around 5pm.

The twist chocolate and vanilla ice cream tasted fantastic. Although it was very crowded, the service was amazingly fast. This dairy has a variety of things to look at and ice cream to purchase. The parking was limited, so it's hard to find a place to park.

Delicious treats and ice cream, but your paying extra for it. Great selection. It has gotten too popular to support the parking and line out the door. Expect a wait on the weekends but would still recommend!

A well-maintained, family-friendly trail that leads to multiple small waterfalls. The terrain is mostly flat, with only one noteworthy hill. It had very little mud, even after heavy rain. I look forward to returning!

Nice place to walk, pretty cool - also saw some wildlife. The wood is pretty beat up, so if you have little ones- be cautious

A nice scenic park, it took me 40 minutes at a brisk walk to do the trail. Nice little waterfalls at the end.

Beautiful park with nice maintained trail. The creek is lovely and there's a cool tunnel to make echo noises with the kids. There's a stone stair at one point that some might find challenging, but the kids and I managed it. It was a nice time.

A great scenic area, not too far from the city of Rochester. Corbett's Glen has a few trails to explore, but I usually stick to the main pathway with the waterfall area and the tunnel. Parking can be a bit challenging, due to very limited spots and an increased interest in the park in the last decade. Overall a very peaceful and great place to check out!

We had our company picnic in the shelter. It was fantastic because I have a 4-year-old great-granddaughter who was able to play on the playground. I was able to spend some time with my co-workers and still have fun with my granddaughter.

The most beautiful park I've been to yet! I try to come here every morning on my days off. The woods are magical and the paths are well kept. The wildlife is abundant and most of the time it is quiet and without a crowd. You'll never know what you'll come across as the plants and scenery change from day to day giving an ever changing and beautiful experience ✨

I've been here twice now with my pup and we've had a blast! We've kayaked and went paddle boarding. The water was kind of low and we got stuck on rocks a couple times, so not the smoothest time this year. She absolutely loves the water here! We have also had a cookout with friends. It's a super clean, well kept park.

Many thanks to Mike and his park crew for their outstanding effort in keeping Irondequoit Creek passable for hundreds of canoeists and kayakers who enjoy paddling it each year. Each storm seems to bring down some limbs, and Mike's team has been extremely responsive to reports of blockages. Rochester is fortunate to have such unique resources as Ellison Park and Irondequoit Creek. Few metropolitan areas can match it. People love the 4.5-mile journey from the park to the bay, and users of BayCreek's shuttle service consistently praise the scenic beauty and peacefulness of the journey.

Hardest but most fun disc golf course ever, great park as well super clean and lots of history, the old Indian trading trailer for early settlers has a paranormal feel to it as well with some definite spooky feelings mixed with beautiful well kept scenery perfect place for kids and parties with lots of playgrounds and nature 10/10 park in rochester

Love this park so much, from the trails to the disc golf, the creek and the meadows - simply gorgeous! So spacious that it's never crowded!

Great place for summer Social gatherings

I tried to go here for breakfast on a Saturday at 9am was told there was no open table until 1245pm. The website says walkins welcome but they were not on 3/30. We made reservations for dinner on 4/18. It was crowded. I didn't realize that it was so small inside. The bar is like a kitchen and not accessible by patrons. The kitchen is open which is fun if you had a table that you could see it. The service was great. I got a chicken sandwich which was good. I was unimpressed by the side choices. The appetizer came out with our entrees which was not expected. The drinks were good. It was very warm inside and no windows were open. I'd try it again for breakfast, but will make reservations first.

Some hits and misses. The breakfast sandwich and lemon raspberry crepes were absolutely delicious — definitely the highlight of the meal. On the other hand, the breakfast tacos and chicken & waffles were underwhelming. The waffles were drenched in syrup, making the dish overly sweet. Drinks were mixed: the latte was watery, but the cappuccino was solid. The strawberry shake was too sweet for my taste. Service was a bit slow, but not terrible. Overall, I’d probably come back to try more from the menu, especially for those crepes!

Service was great, Gabrielle was wonderful! Food was delicious! Drinks were amazing! We got the breakfast crepe with bacon and added avocado, it was very good and the avocado was perfect! We also got the Berry Grulee and it was delicious as well, we liked the fact that you could add the crepe to the bite so it wasn’t overly sweet.

The food was impeccable. The pumpkin smoothies hit all the fall spice cravings and the delectable banana crème crepe was very well balanced and not overly sweet. The Roasted potatoes were very well seasoned and crispy and the burger was dripping with cheese. The wait staff were also very polite, professional and friendly.

I stop by Simply Crêpes in Pittsford every time I visit Rochester, and it’s always amazing! The savory crêpes are my favorite, especially the Chicken Tarragon and Thai Curry. The food is fresh and flavorful, and the service is always friendly and welcoming. Definitely a go-to spot!

Had a great time here for Sunday Brunch. Despite the busy period the service was prompt and food super delicious. Had the Breakfast Taco which had a layered flavor being savory (especially with the bacon) with a tint of sweetness. Portion was just right to leave some space for me to try the Oatmeal Crème Brulee, which was also superb. The 30 min wait for my table was definitely worth it!

Simply Crepes lives up to its name with its simple crepes. Several options ranging from savory to sweet, breakfast options, dinner options, and non-crepe goods. A fairly long drink and coffee menu as well. However, wait times are long and not worth it. The other location near Eastview mall is generally a better experience.

The clam chowder was bland the kid burger, which cost eight dollars for some very unfresh chips and something that came out on 80% bun was fine The service was very lackluster. It was busy, but still we had to wait for the kid meal, which came out after the adult meals all said and done after tip. The check came to almost $100 which definitely was not worth it.

We decided to come here for dinner after scrolling through google maps. This is a pub first atmosphere with decent food options. It’s loud! People are enjoying themselves in a good way here. For food my daughter got the garbage plate. The burger was of good quality and asking for it to be medium rare it was cooked to that. The Mac salad was not overly coated with mayo which is a good thing. The fries here are crispy and tasty. My wife got the scampi which had good flavor and plenty of shrimp. The portion size was good for the price. I ordered the teriyaki salmon. This came with rice and vegetables. The rice had the flavor of a pilaf and the salmon was cooked through. I didn’t want a sandwhich or burger and this was a good option for something different. No drinks today but they had a large selection of cocktails on the drink menu. I’d come here again for a beer or food.

First of all, I have to give a 10 to our server, Maya. She was wonderful very attentive and try to fix the problems with the food. She did an excellent job. However, the food itself was not cooked to order and that’s a problem with the kitchen. I ordered spicy Texas burger without the caramelized onions and it seems like I actually got extra onions on it that were almost impossible to get completely off. It was supposed to come with jalapeño peppers, pepper jack cheese and Housemade beer cheese. It didn’t come with any of those. I don’t know what cheese was on top of it. In addition, it was not cooked to order- asked for a medium well, and it was medium at the most. The house made kettle chips were good. As far as the atmosphere, the booth, we were sitting at the walls look like they had something splattered all over them. It’s always been hit or miss with this restaurant so not sure if I would bother going back.

It is a Bills sports bar with a varied enough menu that everyone will be able to find something, but it's not so large that everything Is a remix of the other menu items. The beer selection is quite nice and the atmosphere is your standard sports bar, a little dark, a wood bar, and screens everywhere. It is not uncommon to see families here, so it's not a rough and tumble establishment. The staff is helpful and attentive, but be aware that this place can get busy and service does stretch out a little bit.

Super slow service. Staff were nice but it took 20 minutes to get noticed at hostess desk and over an hour to get food. Food was ok except for the very sad salad I received. Greens and 3 cherry tomatoes.

What a wonderful experience we had at the Pittsford Pub tonight. Fish Fry Friday was unbelievable. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Brady, whose professionalism and kindness immediately welcomed us. He made us feel at home as he greeted our family with genuine hospitality, and the wonderful hostess promptly showed us to our seats. Food was great, atmosphere was great, outdoor patio was exactly what we needed. The beer battered fish fry, coleslaw, and the New England clam chowder was a perfect 10. We will definitely be back soon.

I went here with some friends for dinner and drinks. It was my first time there, and I will not be returning. The food was very overpriced- the shrimp skewers were $20 for 10 pieces of shrimp, and I couldn’t eat the salad underneath because it was sitting in a bed of oil. I also believe they incorrectly charged me for my drink. The menu said $6, but I was charged $13. After reading other comments on here, it seems to be a reoccurring theme.

In the last week I’m came here 2 times around 12:30-1:00 and both time I felt as if I was a burden on the employees working. It was extremely uncomfortable as they seemed pissed off just because I was ordering. I was polite and didn’t even ask for any special requests. The way the workers were talking and acting just made me feel super uncomfortable as if I was doing something wrong.

This location really sucks sometimes but is great other times, I have eaten at corporate locations and franchise location. The meat is sometimes over cooked and dry, they skimp on queso and if you ask for more they charge you for double but at corporate locations ends up being a single serving. This location also has a problem with online orders. I ordered the same thing every time and sometimes I get a full bowl and sometimes it's a half even though I order extra rice.

I love how generous they put in burritos! The steak burrito became our fave here!

My oldest daughter and I choose to eat here instead of a different chipotle closer to her house. Big mistake, and we’ll never eat at this specific chipotle ever again. We did the mobile order before arriving, which was completed by 6:05, letting us know that our order will be ready by 6:20. 6:20 arrived and nothing. After waiting at least 15 more minutes, we asked where our meal was. They hadn’t even started it yet. And when they did, I was so disappointed in what my daughter received. My burrito bowl looked like it always does. However, my daughters burrito bowl was the one in the picture. Are you kidding me? That’s half a kids meal, and my daughter is not 6 years old anymore. I barely ate any of my meal. Completely lost my appetite.

I like the taste of Chipotle, but the portions in this one and the one in Victor are the smallest of any Chipotle I've ever been to. All the rest, they squish the lid onto the bottom to make it fit. These two franchises-1/2 of the bottom is empty- you are still hungry after eating. Its mostly rice you cheapskates, come on!

I ordered a quesadilla for pickup using their app with sides of green chile salsa, sour cream, and black beans. After I got home from picking it up, I opened the bag & found just the quesadilla with no sides, not even in the normal quesadilla tray. Luckily, I had some salsa & sour cream in the fridge, both because I really didn't feel like going back out and because the quesadilla was really dry and definitely needed something to dip it into. I went back on the app & used their online assistant to alert them to the mistake, and they offered me a free beverage as compensation. I would have preferred a free replacement quesadilla, but I accepted. I will probably go back, at least to get my free drink, but I'll be sure to double-check my order before I go home.

4/19/24: The place was not busy in the mid-afternoon. The counter gals 👧 were nice & friendly. The place was clean. The food tasted quite good.

I was invited to a family celebration, and was excited to try what seems to be a delectable menu. The beverage/wine/cocktail menu was diverse, our party ran the gamut from water to soda to classic and experimental cocktails. All mouth-watering. The appetizers (meatballs, shrimp cocktail, quesadillas, croquettes) were fantastic. Great flavors and presentation. The dinners looked amazing as they arrived, huge portions and delicious tomato sauces, vodka sauces and steak with potatoes... Except the Calabrian pasta, which the menu described as "SPICY CALABRIAN CREAM SAUCE (PLEASE NOTE: VERY SPICY)." What I received was pasta in a deep pool of oil. I stirred a bit looking for the spicy cream sauce (and the "very spicy" flavor), but did not find it. Ended up bringing my dish home - as did everyone else with the ginormous, delicious portions they received. I thought perhaps when I reheated it for lunch it would magically become creamier, but alas - still a puddle of oil with little flavor or spice. I'm not out a penny, because my dinner was paid for by our amazing relatives who footed the whole bill, but I feel badly that they spent $34 for my disappointing dish, and I feel sad that while everyone will be having another delicious dinner or two from their leftovers, I'm probably not going to finish it. 🙄 The photos attached show the thick refrigerator-congealed oil that I scraped from the takeout container into a bowl to reheat - and the puddle my not-so-creamy rewarmed pasta formed. It wouldn't have been so disappointing if it hadn't sounded so amazing to begin with. ✌🏻

Came here with high expectations after reading all the online reviews, but what a disappointment! Our server never mentioned that the pasta portions were HUGE. Honestly, four people could have easily shared two pastas and added some other dishes. Instead, we ended up with four giant plates—way too much food that we couldn’t even finish. A little heads-up would have been professional, but the server was dismissive and arrogant. Out of the four pastas, two tasted almost the same (both angel hair). The pasta was completely bland—clearly missing salt—and the noodles were overcooked to a mushy texture, like something made for an 80-year-old. To make it worse, the pasta was literally sitting in oil (see photo 🤮). When we mentioned this to the server, she brushed it off saying that since we ordered without cheese, the garlic and olive oil had no seasoning. Seriously? If the customer has to season the dish themselves, then what’s the chef even doing? Overcooked pasta is clearly a mistake, yet she ignored the question and walked away. Overall, terrible food and even worse service. No idea why this place is so hyped. Honestly, not even worth leaving a 1% tip. 👎

My partner and I have eaten here about 4-5 times now and it’s officially our new favorite restaurant. We’ve gotten the same waitress named Sarah a couple times. She was super nice, super fast with service and gave some excellent recommendations for cocktails and dishes. The food itself has been AMAZING every single time! I personally recommend the Lavender Lemon Martini and steak. However their pasta is homemade and super amazing. The portions are also huge!

We did a Celebration of Life for my Mom. Jen Jones was great to work with for the planning and Jada was an excellent server. There were several others who assisted Jada (Tracy and Jaidia?) who were also good. The food (buffet) was excellent.

I have been to Monroe's several times over the years. Sadly, the past few times I've gone, the quality and service have declined. Although the portions are huge, they are lacking in flavor and quality. The last time I went, my soup was lukewarm at best. My pesto shrimp pasta was flavorless. I don't mind paying for quality food, but this is not it.

I’ve been to Monroe’s many times and really wanted to keep supporting it, but I continue to leave disappointed. The pricing and portion sizes feel extreme, with a focus on quantity instead of quality. For a restaurant in this price range, I’d expect seasonal, local, high-quality ingredients and a more thoughtful approach. The overall hospitality is also lacking. The policies around seating, party size, what tables and sharing come across as rigid and unwelcoming, which takes away from what should be a relaxed dining experience. Dining out shouldn’t feel policed. As someone who also helps plan events locally, I’ve chosen Monroe’s before, but unfortunately I can no longer recommend it moving forward. I’ve also seen other diners raise similar concerns publicly, so this doesn’t feel like an isolated issue. To make matters worse, when you go to Monroe’s website there’s no way to contact a manager or send feedback directly. Without an email or point of contact, guests are left with no option but to share concerns publicly like this. I hope the restaurant reconsiders its model. Smaller portions at more reasonable prices, higher-quality seasonal ingredients, and more welcoming hospitality could transform Monroe’s into the kind of place people are eager to return to. The food itself is consistently underwhelming. Dishes are poorly executed, often lacking balance or care in preparation, and the flavors simply don’t match the prices being charged. On top of that, the constant upcharges feel excessive and frustrating. I honestly don’t know what the chef is thinking with this approach it comes across as careless rather than creative.

Terrible service. Mediocre food. Kids at host stand were indifferent at our arrival and didn’t acknowledge us when we left. One of us ordered a salad as an entree. The other 3 ordered hot entrees. The salad didn’t arrive for 20 minutes at which time the hot entrees were cold. I had to go find our server who blamed it on the kitchen. Eventually the manager came out and said she would call the owner! Apparently has no authority to fix problems!! She came back and offered complementary desserts. We said we had dessert waiting for us at home. We still hadn’t gotten our salad!! In response she said, let me see what I can do. We never saw her again. On top of that the food was expensive for the mediocre quality. Avoid this restaurant. You will be disappointed.
