Nic & Norman's in Senoia is a laid-back, brick-lined restaurant co-owned by Greg Nicotero and Norman Reedus, known for their involvement with The Walking Dead. The classic pub menu features a long wood bar serving draft beer and cocktails. The outpost offers Bloody Marys, mimosas, and Gate City beers while hosting rotating vendors such as The Bitters Reality and Brewers Fire.
The atmosphere was amazing! We came here after spending the day walking around to all the nearby Walking Dead filming locations. If you love the show this is definitely where you should eat! Very fun place to eat if you have time to wait. There were not many people in the restaurant when we went in and were immediately seated but the food took an hour to get to our table from the time we ordered until it was served so we ended up spending about an hour and 30 minutes here. But as you can see from the photos, we are still glad that we came and enjoyed ourselves just make sure you go on a day that you have time to wait :) the food was tasty and fun. We loved the branding on the burgers! If you’ve visited the mystic grill in Covington I feel their menu is somewhat similar.

Must read review! We ate at two Nick & Norman’s in a 24 hour period. We ate at the one in Senoia, Georgia on Saturday 9/27 and Chattanooga Tennessee on Sunday 9/28! Between the two we ate the Pork Belly BBQ burgers, Southern Fried Ribs, Garlic Herb Shrimp, and Smokehouse Mac & Cheese! The food is fantastic, so good we had to have it back to back. A must see for Walking Dead fans, especially Senoia, where the show was filmed!! The Chattanooga location had great management with a Manager that reminds you of Andrew Lincoln, aka Rick Grimes. Thank you, Travis ( Great manager). Norman Reedus lets do a ride down the Blue Ridge Parkway in the fall!

An amazing birthday experience! We came here as a group of four to celebrate a friends birthday. The service was amazing! Attentive and kind! We ordered the chili (simple and delish!) fried mozzarella (crispy and flavorful) and also the Brussels sprouts. You can tell we were feeling snacky lol The drinks were top notch and very well done. Will definitely be back!

Y'all this was the best meal I've had at a restaurant for the year!! I got the Whiskey Citrus Salmon with super greens and mashed potatoes. Let's start with the salmon! It was cooked to perfection! Had the right amount of seasoning! The flavor was an explosion in your mouth. The super greens really enhanced the fish and the potatoes were so well done! We also had an app of spinach artichoke dip that was quite tasty with pita points! My hubby had a burger and said it was pretty good but wished he would have gotten the pork shank! I can't wait to have it again. It will have to wait until I'm back on that side! I went to the Chattanooga location! Last but not least our server was just amazing! Super sweet and attentive!

Best steak I've ever had and loved the carrots so much. Priced very well for top quality food. Our server, Bethany, was really great. She answered all our questions, made excellent suggestions, kept our glasses full, and was overall very pleasant. The restaurant was beautiful as well. I cant wait to go back.

We visited Nic & Norman’s for the first time today and it was absolutely wonderful! The food was delicious and the serving sizes were very generous. Olivia was our waitress and she was amazing! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and super personable. Highly recommend.

Ok this was a new find for us. But we will be back! Nic & chic is amazing. We also had a burger because if you can't make a decent burger then nothing else will be good and it didn't disappoint very good and loved the company burn on the bun. Now with all that said the Cajun corn was to die for. I even got some to go it's that good! Julia was our severe and was amazing she didn't miss a beat. Jeremy is the manager and was very respectful appreciative. He runs a great restaurant the place to extremely cozy and very clean. Even the bathrooms were very clean. Looks to have a full bar and bar staff seams knowledgeable. I don't drink so didn't partake. The prices are very affordable my wife and I was out for just over $40. Overall this might have just become my new favorite place to go.

Loved nic and Norman's my family and l had a nice time there. Talk to the server. the only thing was that the Trucker Cap and sticker I was hoping to get there were not in stock. I was hoping to get some stuff and head back to toledo ohio from that restaurant. To show I was there. Big Greg Nicotero and Norman Reedus fan. walking dead fan

Visitors can explore the charming downtown area, filled with antique shops, boutiques, and restaurants. The company's Senoia on the Big Screen Tour takes guests to iconic filming locations from The Walking Dead. While filming sites are restricted, there's a chance to spot cast members during the filming season.
We had a great time with Mikayla as our guide. It turned out to be a rather rainy chilly afternoon but her enthusiasm warmed you up. She had so much knowledge about the show and it was fun to be reminded of all those pivotal scenes and then see exactly where they were filmed. Super cool. Highly recommend the tour and the town!

This was such a great experience It was my daughter's and her best friend 16th birthday and this was their wish. We could not have asked for better. She was amazing knew things that the avid and average watcher wouldn't know. You felt like you were getting a tour from and Insider from the cast. ( im only in Season 4 and trying to catch up) but the girls are die hard fan. I want your company how lucky you are to jave this young lady leading your tours. We've been all over this country and on dozens of tours. This by far was the best not because I was more Invested inIt than the others (actually I didn't think i'd enjoy it) but the tour guide was so vested and knowledgeable I now feel i need to hurry and finish the rest of the show. If your a fan this is the tour to take.

I visited with my grandma as we have both been huge fans of the show for years. We took the 3 hour van tour and were so glad we did. The AC and extra locations were completely worth it and it was a great price for everything that was included. The guides were super friendly and knowledgeable (and made sure you got good photos😉). The tour even included the “ricktatorship” location which can only be accessed by this company due to it being on private property. I can’t wait to come back and see more TWD and maybe even stranger things locations.

Had a great time!!! Excellent tour! My daughter and I were the only ones on the tour that day. Visited many locations and had a wonderful lunch at a local Cafe. Had a BLT with fried green tomatoes!! Sooo good! Would definitely use them again for another Walking Dead Tour! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Our tour guides were Julie & Wendy ( I believe), they were great!

My husband and I just completed the 5 hr West locations Walking Dead van tour with Wendy and we can’t say enough wonderful things about it! Wendy is a wealth of information and the nicest person you could meet! She’s super knowledgeable about all things Walking Dead and horror, she took us to more locations than we could have imagined, she stopped for pictures and shared details on behind the scenes stuff, and went above and beyond! We will definitely be back for more tours! We made a friend today! Highly recommended! ❤️

My family and I did the two hour walking tour today and had a blast! Our tour guide, Mikayla, was amazing and very knowledgeable about the show. She was very sweet and we enjoyed listening to her. We really recommend this for any walking dead fans, some of it really blows your mind. :)
Ava W — Google review
The three hour van tour surpassed our expectations! Mikayla and Wendy were very informative and happy to answer any questions. They made it really fun and enjoyable for us, and gave us lots of great photo opportunities! I'd definitely recommend this for fans of The Walking Dead who want to see some of the show's most iconic locations and hear some interesting behind the scenes info.

The Woodbury Shoppe is a must-visit for fans of The Walking Dead, offering a wide range of merchandise and collectibles from the popular TV series. From character figurines to posters and unique souvenirs, visitors can find almost anything related to the show. Additionally, the shop is located near Nic and Norman's, a grill owned by Greg Nicotero and Norman Reedus, adding to the overall experience for fans.
As a hardcore “The Walking Dead” fan this was a dream come true to visit. Every fan of the show should make this trip at some point. The store offers so many items for sale including replicas, clothing, office supplies, and other memorabilia from the show. The items can be pricey, but totally worth it. Some items may also be out of stock. The store also serves as a museum where you can see signatures / messages from the cast, items / sets from the actual show, pictures from the cast visiting, and other important The Walking Dead memorabilia. Make sure to talk to the female clerk (I forgot her name) as she has been on the show before and has great stories! In the same building in which this store is located you can find character look-alikes walking around. Most notably you can find Abraham and Rick look-alikes. I was too scared to approach them as I figured they were busy or would charge money for interaction. If you have ever enjoyed the show or call yourself a true fan, you MUST make your way to this store!

There were a couple neat things to look at, but I was very disappointed that I drove so far & the musuem was closed with no reopening date. I thought there would be more merchandise and a wider variety of memorabilia.

A must stop for any TWD fan, the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, also great restaurants in the area.

we got here after it was closed but went and looked in the windows. My daughter is a HUGE Walking Dead fan and we loved it. Unfortunately we live too far away but next time we travel in that area we are going to do the tour and everything. We also saw markers on the cobblestone sidewalks showing all the other movies and TV shows that were filmed there. It was amazing.
Chris R — Google review
Such a cool place. Came here after our tour with DTours which I highly recommend. The artifacts in the museum portion of the shop are cool and the merchandise to purchase is great. Very cool place and if you are a fan of TWD you will enjoy.

The Woodbury Shoppe is the best shopping destination for fans of The Walking Dead! Lots of memorabilia, clothes, souvenirs, and more to choose from! Reasonable prices and diverse selection of items featuring all the main characters from the show. They have done a wonderful job bringing the characters to life in this small but quaint store. The entrance isn't very well marked from the front. Thankfully, we had a private guide to show us the way. I don't think we would have found it otherwise.

Senoia Coffee and Cafe is a laid-back eatery located at the edge of Main St. in Senoia, just across from the Alexandria Safe Zone. It's a popular spot for both locals and visitors, including cast and crew members when they're in town. The cafe offers a delicious menu with great options for breakfast, making it an ideal stop before heading out on tours or for a day of shopping.
I don't drink coffee, but my husband enjoyed his and I got a little caffeine kick from a half and half iced tea. Just love the atmosphere of the old brick and I was totally enamored with the restroom. I don't usually take pics of public restrooms, but I thought it was beautiful with hardwood, painted brick, the refinished dresser and the mirror down to the glass tile backslash. It's my jam!
C W — Google review
This was my first time at Senoia Coffee. I came in just to see Kat, and she's never steered me wrong! The blueberry pancake latte was amazing! Such a cool little spot with a nice, chill, vibe. I'll definitely be back!
Jena — Google review
Not putting down the food or service at all but the atmosphere is by far the best part of this place. So cohesive and matches the whole town's vibe. The coffee is really good and the prices are entirely reasonable. Be prepared for a bit of a wait, not because they're slow but because there's more effort.
Grace G — Google review
We had a coffee and smoothie here!! Tasty coffee and friendly staff. Highly recommend
Amy — Google review
I truly love coming here, much amazing coffee and breakfast. Grits bowl, avocado toast, build my own are all good choices to pick from. Definitely recommend don’t rush in and out because there is a bit of a wait but worth it. The staff for the most past are very helpful and pleasant to socialize with and help you with drink orders or a menu selection. BUT the one female is just so hard to deal with heart tattoos on her arm. She is truly rude and this has happened about 3x from personally experience. I wish the owners would have a chat with her or just go somewhere else to represent a company because Senioa is such a small town with wonderful relaxing people and she just throws the whole vibe off in a cute small town coffee shop.
Anita K — Google review
Best coffee shop within 50 miles. Staff is super friendly, the vibe is welcoming and friendly. Coffee is excellent. Good selection of pastries and food. Cinnamon roll is tasty. Highly recommend!

Last Friday on the 5th, Emma made me the best caramel frappe I have ever had at senoia coffee!! She literally did so good and I just wanted to show her some appreciation for it! She is very kind🤗

This place isn’t just popular because of the Walking Dead, they actually have REALLY delicious food. We came for breakfast and ordered the Wood “berry” Wake Up and Alexandria Sunrise and a croissant sandwich and everything was so fresh and amazing! The sausage gravy in the Alexandria Sunrise is SO good and the biscuits are dry enough to soak up the gravy but not too dry to eat by themselves. The Wood Berry breakfast comes with whipped cream and really tasty maple syrup. You are missing out if you pass this place up.

One of the oldest and with more tradition dirt tracks in Georgia. I was not able to see a Race (pending to do it) but the atmosphere is really nice.
Jorge S — Google review
I love the fact that they have food trucks, a game tent, and merchandise trucks. I loved the stand seating. They are concrete and wide enough so you don't fall out of your chair. Lol. The track is very very short though. It was very hard for me to keep up. Lol. A Porta potty is at the tip of the stands and bathrooms at the bottom. Great parking. This is like my 5th visit. Got a chance to visit the pits as well
Felecia B — Google review
To be honest, I was expecting to not like this place because car racing isn't really my vibe. BUT I had a great time, and the lemonade stand at the front is phenomenal. I wish I had known there is only concrete to sit on, but they allow you to bring your own chairs so we know for the next time. We still had a perfectly clear view of the track from the ground!

Nestled in the heart of Senoia, Georgia, Fuego Mar Mexican Grill & Seafood offers a delightful culinary experience that stands out among the town's vibrant dining scene. As you step inside, you're immediately enveloped by a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an enjoyable meal. The attentive staff is not only friendly but also knowledgeable about the menu, ensuring that every guest feels valued and well taken care of.
Had a great lunch for my initial visit here. The food was delicious -- split the Fuego Mar Fajitas which has 6 meats: Mexican sausage, tilapia, steak, chicken, shrimp and pork. Large portions -- we were both stuffed and still had plenty to take home. Great service from Matthew -- friendly, quick, and our glasses were never empty. Nice ambiance.

The service was excellent. The food was really tasty. The food was presented in a way not typical to whats usually served un the area, which i found really refreshing. I will definitely be dining there again.

I had an incredible dining experience at Fuego Mar Mexican Grill & Seafood in Senoia, Georgia. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The service was outstanding, with attentive and knowledgeable staff that made me feel welcomed and appreciated. This is elevated Mexican cuisine. The roasted tomato salsa was incredibly delicious, with just the right amount of heat and tanginess. I also tried their Tacos de Arrachera, which were absolutely stellar. The seasoned grilled skirt steak was cooked to perfection, and it was served with rice and esquites (corn salad) that were equally delicious. Although I'm not a big fan of the faux and sterile atmosphere of Senoia's Main Street, the fantastic food and great service at Fuego Mar makes me forget all about it. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in the area.

My wife and I have been going to Senoia for years. Decided to try this place because it was new. It did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the portions were large. Just add this to a list of great food in Senoia.

The food is really good, very authentic and presented in a classy style. Service was decent, the live music was great. My plus one and I walked out with having only spent around 40$ and I even ordered a beer. Being from California everyone at my table was happy to see Mexican food of this caliber, as we have been looking for good Mexican food since we moved.

Known for its craft cocktails, scrumptious sandwiches, and mouthwatering chicken wings, the restaurant has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The atmosphere is laid-back yet vibrant, making it the perfect spot to unwind after exploring the area.
All the dishes we ordered were delicious! (The dumplings were just okay...) We were satisfied with both the price and portion sizes, and the servers were very friendly. During weekday happy hour, beer is just $3!

I had a fantastic dining experience at Curious Kitchen in Senoia, GA. We started with the fried pickles, which were absolutely delicious. The batter was perfectly light and crispy without being greasy or overly salty, and the accompanying sauce was a flavorful complement that elevated the dish even more. We also tried the fried Brussels sprouts, which were just as impressive. They were halved and crisped to perfection on the outside, while the centers remained soft but not mushy. The lemony sauce served with them added a refreshing brightness that paired beautifully. For my main dish, I went with the burger and fries. The burger had that classic smash burger style—fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The portion of fries was generous, and they were just as fresh and satisfying. Beyond the food, the atmosphere really stood out. The restaurant has a warm and inviting vibe—comfortable booths with high backs added a nice touch of privacy, and the noise level was pleasantly low, making it easy to relax and enjoy conversation. Every staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

So glad we stopped at Curious Kitchen and Bar. Made a quick stop for lunch on the way through Senoia. They had options for everyone. The burger was A-mazing. Fries were on point. The chicken batter was nice and light, the honey and homemade pickles missed the mark. Atmosphere was nice, we were not rushed.

Service was great - from the host to the waitress. The food was amazing. The crab ragoon egg rolls were out of this world. I will be back to try more of what's on the menu.
Kiersten G — Google review
I will start with the only "ding" because the overall experience was fantastic! When we arrived at the front door, we waited several minutes before being greeted. Long enough for me to look up the phone number, call, put on hold, and then ask them if someone was working the door. She noticed me and said, " Since you're calling from it, I'm going to say no." We were immediately seated and the amazing experience began! We started with the crab Rangoon Eddie rolls. Zero complaints, delicious! Great crunch, yet it was not so hot that it would burn your face off . My lovely date had the Tony Soprano m, which she thought was great. She loved the marinara, chicken cooked through, yet still moist, with a side of sweet potato waffle fries, which were surprisingly crunchy.... in a good way I had the Fancy Joseph, with skirt steak, horseradish aoli, lettuce, and pickles. The steak, as you can tell, was cooked a perfect medium rare, just enough horseradish to let you know it was there, but not overpower the sandwich. Pickles perfect, you could taste every element of the sandwich. The charred broccoli was the perfect compliment to the sandwich, absolutely delicious. And it was light enough to leave enough room for the bread pudding, which had a perfect crunch, and pillow soft in the middle! And finished off with a flight of mimosas! It's important to keep everything we had when looking at the price per person, which, in my opinion, for a total of 100 dollars even, with 18 percent tip included is a steal!! Highly recommended!

While some have noted minor issues like booth seating distance or TV visibility, these do little to overshadow the overall experience.
Service was absolutely phenomenal. We were checked on several times, even aside from our great waitress. Pretzel Bites with Cheese, and Street Corn (Tuesday special) were incredible. Birria Quesadilla and Birria Smash Burger (Tuesday Specials. Not regular menu) Were absolutely amazing!!!!! Loved the consomé and beef. Ample portion sizes. Also had the Margarita Flight and enjoyed all 4 flavors. Blackberry, Blueberry, Pineapple Jalapeño, and Blood orange.

Brought the family here for dinner. It was packed busy at 7 pm and I didn’t expect to get a table but we were seated right away. We ordered some drinks, and wings for an appetizer. My wife ordered a Philly cheesesteak which was huge and the rest of us ordered smash burgers. Kristina was our waitress and we couldn’t have asked for better service! Overall the food and service were both amazing. If your looking for a great spot for food and craft beer, this is it. There were TVs hung on every wall so watching a game there will be next on our list. 👍🏼

We found out the spinach artichoke dip ee wanted was out and all the sides were out as well. The pickle chips we did order were swimming in the oil they were fried in. The smash burger I ordered was nothing special. Two very small patties that didn't look like they were smashed. The atmosphere was lacking. They have a lot of TVs and none were on. Also no music playing. Overall my husband and I will not be back.

Finally able to get over to Senoia and visit The Draft Room. I'd been following their pre-opening progress on Facebook and had eagerly awaited their opening but just hadn't been able to find the time to get there. That was rectified today for lunch as we arrived right at noon to find ourselves the first in the establishment for the day (though others arrived almost immediately thereafter). Sitting at the bar as is are won't, we were immediately provided menus and proceeded to peruse the beer list, which apparently had already changed from just 24 hours earlier. Now, that might bother some folks, but for me is a positive. I love a place that has an ever rotating option of beers, and the Draft Room is focusing on Georgia craft breweries which, in my opinion, gives us the best alternative to visiting the breweries themselves - when you can sample the wares of multiple breweries that you may not yet have had a chance to visit. I won't dwell too much on the beer, as everyone has their own tastes in that regard. Suffice to say we had two flights (so sampled 8 beers in all) and they were thoroughly enjoyed. For many, the beer may be an afterthought and they go primarily for the food. Well, that didn't disappoint either. My wife has still been getting over a little stomach ailment, so stuck with pretzel bites with beer cheese (supplemented by house made honey mustard, which was very good indeed). Both the pretzels and the beer cheese were spot on. I opted for the Atlanta Hot Chicken sandwich. It was a perfectly cooked fried breast filet on a brioche bun with honey hot sauce and watermelon pickles. It was delicious, though I will say I'd wish it to be a good bit spicier. I wanted it Nashville hot hot, and I'd probably prefer regular dill pickles. But that's just nit picking. The Sweet Potato waffle fries were also spot on. I am big fan of sweet potato fries, but not usually so much for waffle cut fries. These were truly wonderful. Crisp on the outside, warm and tender on the inside. And they went really well with either the house honey mustard or the beer cheese. The Draft Room has only been open not quite two weeks and are still getting their feet under them in terms of clientele and how to best serve them, but they've made a great start. There's not really another place quite like this in the immediate vicinity and here's hoping their trajectory keeps going up!!

We went here 2 Sunday's ago to watch the game. It was pretty empty inside. Outside had most of the crowd. We had spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer and split a dozen wings and fries for an entree. We also had beer. The dip was very bland. The wings were good. We're going to try them again. Maybe order something different.

Service was friendly and the food was delicious! Had the bacon bacon burger with mac & cheese with the mozzarella balls for an appetizer. Went during the early afternoon and will definitely return at a busier time to get a game day experience

Based on several reviews I arrived with mid-level expectations. I must say the food far exceeded our expectations and each of us truly enjoyed our meals! Wife had the hot chicken sandwich, son had chicken fingers, and I had the smash burger (turkey). I’ll definitely be watching my boys (Steelers) there a few times this season!

Brunch restaurant
Event venue
Bistro Hilary is a charming downtown eatery in Senoia, known for its French-inspired cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. Helmed by chef Hilary White, this high-end bistro offers a delightful patio seating area where guests can savor their meals and drinks. The restaurant boasts an impressive selection of specialty cocktails, including off-menu specials like batch sangria.
An absolutely wonderful place to eat brunch. Both the area the food and the service are all outstanding. It fills up pretty quickly on Sunday however, there’s a very good reason. The specials are varied and of excellent quality. You can tell that the chef and the cooking staff do not cut corners here. When they talk about crab meat, you will have authentic huge lump crab meat. The cut of meat are also excellent. I do offer one word of warning. Be very clear about the drink specials and what is reduced price. We ended up getting a few drinks each thinking they were all half priced and they were not. This would not deter us to go back, we loved the place, just something I wanted to mention. We had a young man who was our server and he was outstanding. A stone, cold professional. He knew every item and he never had to write anything down. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended on all levels. My wife has come here for lunch and she said it is also exceptional. Looking forward to coming back soon.
Shawn T — Google review
The food was absolutely fantastic, but the service was disappointing. There appeared to be two hostesses, two managers, and only two servers. The managers spent a good amount of time at the host stand talking casually with the hostesses. Our server did her best, but she was stretched thin with tables inside and on the patio. Had the managers checked on us, even refilling our water glass on occasion, it would have been a much more enjoyable experience. We enjoyed a three course brunch and a manager only came by at the end to run our credit card.

Food was ok, worth the price. Service was really bad. We ordered 3 appetizers and two entrees, but our server forgot to course out the food so we got every dish at almost the same time. She took 10-15 mins to bring our wine, but had time to clean the tables around instead? I get it if there were reservations coming, but no one came. She took our water glasses even though we had ordered another bottle. By the way, she didnt offer water options, just gave us tap without asking. Unusual for a restaurant at this level. She rushed our desserts as well, bringing us the check when we had barely touched them. "No rush" she said, but then why bring the check? Left the receipt on top of a small puddle on the table, so it got all wet. I had to flag her to order my apperitif, she didnt even ask with desserts. Again, unusual for a restaurant at your level. And you know what's the worst part? This was our anniversary dinner. We said that on our reservation twice. I was not expecting anything complementary, but at least having the level of service of the place we thought was the best restaurant around. We spent $250 (almost $300 with tip) but got the kind of service we would have expected at a fast casual venue.

We reserved the “Blue Room” for our daughter’s graduation party yesterday and it was PERFECT in every way. The room itself is amazing for an intimate get together. It can easily accommodate 20-40 ppl. The food is absolutely delicious and made fresh daily. You cannot go wrong with anything that you order from here. The Filet is to die for, so is the banana pudding and chocolate mousse. Our daughter is already asking when we can go back. Thank you Jim, Hilary, Bruce, and the rest of the staff for making our daughter’s graduation lunch unforgettable and being so easy to work with! We will always recommend your restaurant as “ the best on the square!”

Excellent celebration dinner going with all the specials— lobster beignets, veal chop, sockeye salmon, and peanut butter banana chocolate tort.

We had a birthday party here with 18 people, and everything went smoothly. The chef managed to bring out all the food at the same time, even though we had a lot of different orders. That’s really impressive! Beef Bourguignon (my main): It was so tender and flavorful. It’s definitely one of the best versions of this dish on the menu. Bistro Hilary is famous for it, and for good reason. Deviled Eggs - They were a unique twist on the usual. They were a bit different, but they were also tasty and had a nice crunch. Other people who ordered them also liked them. Chocolate Mousse It was so rich and decadent. It was the perfect ending to the meal. People often rave about the desserts here, and this one lived up to the hype. The service and timing were great. Even with 18 different orders, the kitchen worked together perfectly. We were seated in a private room. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. They have a nice indoor dining room and a lovely outdoor patio. The staff was friendly and made the party feel special. The menu is a bit pricey, and the portions are a bit small for the price. Bistro Hilary is a great place for a special occasion or a group event. The food is really good, especially the beef bourguignon, the deviled eggs, and the chocolate mousse. It’s not the cheapest place to eat, but it’s worth it for the quality and the experience. If you’re looking for fine French-American cuisine in Senoia, this is a top pick.

This place was just lovely. The food was really food with lots of attention to detail- my schnitzel on a cold salad was well cooked and the dressing was superb. I had my first aperol spritz! The dessert- a peach Melba ice cream, was amazing. Finally, my server, Alicia, was kind and attentive. The atmosphere was sophisticated with cloth napkins and nice wallpaper, but people were dressed casually at my early dinner. Definitely should try it out.
Jana L — Google review
I was not overly impressed with their ribeye. The first one that came out was over cooked. Same for another at our table. Then it had this really, really strong smoky taste to it that completely overpowered the taste of the meat. The service was great. We did have a pretty big group of about 12 and they did a decent job with it. Would not order any steak from them again. They need to rely a little more on the flavor of the steak being served.

My girlfriend brought me here. I'm from Columbus and she grew up here. It was unfortunately closed when we went so we just took pictures outside. It was very quirky and I can't wait to see what it looks like on the inside. Anyway, I hope you like the pictures, it was such a pretty day.

Great place to explore and see some old stuff from the local area and beyond. We stop in when we go to Senoia and always enjoy ourselves. I see a lot of comments about the business being closed but in the 15-20 times we have visited that was not the case.
David F — Google review
I have only been able to visit this Senoia touristy spot a total of 4 times. I live in GA but I only visit when family comes from other states to visit. The first time I was able to go into this store and look around. It had a lot of cool items to look at and was generally enjoyable to walk around in. I noted a few items that I wanted to buy but due to my financial situation at the time I decided to wait and hope to get them at a future visit. That was three years ago, and it was the last time I was able to go into the store at all. Every time I've been to the area since they've been closed. That's 3 out of 4 times they were closed. I want to spend money here, and I've tried but your willy nilly carefree schedule is a bit ridiculous. That's no way to run a respectable business. Even if I magically manage to be there while they're open, I may not go in out of principle moving forward. This last Thursday was my last shot at it and they were closed with some tacky sign saying that generally they are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday but that there's no guarantees. Seriously, the sign said they would PROBABLY be open. What on earth? This 1/5 is not given due to what's in the store, but given to the owners decision-making with their "ill go in whenever I get around to it" policy. What an absolute shame. I enjoyed my first trip through a few years ago, and now I'm not going back.
Isaac C — Google review
We were greeted both days by the sweetest lady, loved this store so much that I could've spent all day in there looking at everything and the best part was I got the most gorgeous ring from there that is just perfect along with some pins that hold a special place in my heart! I can't wait to come back again one day, it's definitely worth the 6 hour drive for me!

This is one to avoid if you’re not a baby boomer or older. I felt VERY unwelcome in this shop. Me and my husband stopped in because we love buying old, weird decor for the home we recently purchased. While we were there we did find a few things we were very interested in, however, we opted to not spend any of our hard earned money because of how we were treated. Sure, maybe we were the only people in town with lots of visible tattoos but that doesn’t mean we don’t have a ton of money to spend.. because we do. I don’t appreciate being stared at and followed around like some criminal.

Best spa experience I have ever had. Everyone that works here is so kind and patient and they genuinely want you to leave feeling better than when you came in. I highly recommend!! (I almost don’t want to because I don’t want it to be hard to get an appt ;-) ) BUT I can’t keep it a secret. I frequently come here for facials and it has transformed my skin. Love everyone at the Senoia location! Y’all are amazing.

Went to The Senioa location. Massage was good but my facial was less than a pleasant experience. The steamer was not pointed at me so I got very little steam and the esthetician did my entire facial with surgical gloves on so I felt awkward and uncomfortable and it was not a pleasant relaxing experience. I’ve had numerous facials in the past as well as have worked in the industry and never has anyone wore surgical gloves during a facial. Needless to say I won’t be returning.

This charming eatery offers an array of sweet and savory options that are sure to satisfy any palate. This place is a delight. The staff was helpful in menu selection and answered a lot of questions. It was extra fun and interesting to watch the crepes be made in the open kitchen in the back dining room without whole fresh ingredients. The flavor combinations were so delicious and well executed. Coffee drinks were delicious, and really loved the lavender lemonade. Decor is on point to create a welcoming atmosphere.

We are visiting the local area and wanted to visit a nice bakery, this is one of the best I've ever been too. First, the location is in a historic downtown area that has that small town feel. The bakery itself is warm, fresh and inviting. Plenty of options, but not overwhelming. Cute decor good for photos and the staff are eager to help. I tried the brie, apple and raspberry crepe and it was exactly what I wanted. There are other option s like Nutella and strawberry crepe that looked really good. The coffee was AMAZING. Wish I had gotten a bigger cup. As far as accessibility, it would be a challenge as a wheel chair user, you would need to call ahead or bring a friend to get in- everyone is helpful and friendly though it would be worth it. Totally worth your time if you're looking for a food adventure!

I loved the food! It was so good. I met Lisa some years ago when buying something from her at marketplace and she was the best, I’m glad her business is doing this good because she was such a sweet person. We got 2 savory crepes, a coffee and a tea and everything was perfect except for the girl who was taking the order, you have to greet people nicely and with a smile, she doesn’t do a great job on that…but I will still come back. 😁

First, my coffee was fabulous and the food was beautiful. The pastries looked almost too beautiful to eat. I can’t wait to try one next time! We ordered a sweet and a savory crepe. I wish the crepes were better for the high price. Hopefully the next time we are back, they will be better.

This was so amazing. I was able to visit their food truck at the Georgia Yech campus and maaaaaaaaan it was AWESOME!! I had the "Paris" savory crepe without bacon. I gobble it down so quickly!! The way the apple, brie, raspberry jam and turkey goes together is just phenomenal. I didn't have to wait long either! I am definitely going to have to check kiosk out their brick and mortar location asap!

The food was excellent. My wife and I loved the little cafe feel and the portions were actually a little more than expected which was very nice. The staff was helpful answering questions (since it was our first time there) about the ingredients of the different crepes we were looking at. Lastly, we went with a banana fosters crepe and, it was simply delicious.

These crepes were amazing! I had the Buffalo chicken one and really enjoyed it. It was my first time having savory crepes and it was delicious. I also tried the "Paris" crepe which had an interesting flavor but it was very good. The apple and jam made the flavor really unique. I drank the Mango Tea Lemonade. It was alright, I do wish it had a stronger mango flavor. The decor was so cute, very European. My only complaint was there were a lot of flies near the front door where my family and I sat. Other than that it was a great restaurant! I will definitely be back.

It is known for its pleasant ambiance, quality service, and diverse menu. Patrons can indulge in traditional fare such as corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips, or Irish chicken or salmon cakes. We always love to try new restaurants and make a review the second time around. Well it was consistent..meaning it was GREAT the 2 times we've been there. Great atmosphere, spot on service, and the food was excellent ! We started today with the soft pretzels with Cheese and hot mustard. My husband got the Corned Beef and cabbage .Cooked perfectly and awesome flavor.I ate the Reuben Sandwich, which they used the fresh corned beef on it, with coleslaw. Excellent! And finally.. the warm brownie sundae ..that's big enough for 3 people ! Yummy! This is a restaurant we definitely will continue to eat at again .Kudos to the team!

Fantastic Irish pub fare in Walking Dead country. Food was delicious (especially the French onion soup and fish & chips). Wash it down with a perfectly poured pint of Guinness. *Food pictures are not of the initial presentation. Family started eating before I had a chance to snap a photo

Stopped here for dinner on our way home from Alabama. It was way off of our path home, but it was well worth it. The cheesy spinach dip was a wonderful starter. Two of us got the fish & chips, and they were just lovely! The fish is white cod. My other friend got the Irish grilled cheese and French onion soup and loved it. Our waiter was super friendly and very attentive, as was every staff person we encountered. If you're ever in Senoia, make this stop. You won't regret it!

My new favorite place! We had Taylor as our server, and she was amazing! Friendly, helpful, and prompt. The food was fantastic! We really enjoyed the Scotch Eggs. The French Onion Soup was perfect, and their Sweet Potato Fries are amazing. We liked the laid back, comfortable atmosphere. It was a bit loud but when good people get together over great food and lovely cocktails, what else can you expect.

Always a perfect spot! Maguire’s is my family’s favorite restaurant, for good reason. The service and food are always perfect, and my oldest boy in particular always asks is we can go to “the underground restaurant.” Tonight, my boys were overtired and in rare form. The oldest was on the verge of a meltdown over a stolen gumball, and the staff felt bad for him and gave him a cookie. He immediately perked up, and said this is his FAVORITE place. He’s always loved it here, but the cookie was the icing on the cake. His younger brother (the gumball thief) ran from our table to the checkerboard while the adults were eating. I dragged him back to the table, and didn’t realize he’d lost a shoe until a sweet staff member brought it back to us. Every time we visit, it truly feels like visiting family. We do our best to make sure our kids aren’t being obnoxious, but the understanding and empathy we get when the kids are a little “off” is part of what keeps us coming back. On top of all that, my very particular and very British father-in-law loves the food, and is consistently pleased with Maguire’s. If you’re looking for authenticity, his approval is the gold standard. I’m as American as it gets, and I love the food, too. My SIL is vegan, and can always find something suitable to eat, too. There’s truly something for everyone, and the vibes are spot-on for a true Irish pub.
Andrew R — Google review
I absolutely loved the establishment and decided to come in for their St. Patrick's day celebrations! I'm so glad we did. My friend and I both ordered the Guinness Lamb Stew, and I kid you not I teared up. Of course, everyone who knows me knows I'm sensitive anyway, 😂 but the dish was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. It was a hearty stew with rosemary and thyme, and crisp rolls with rosemary as well. It tastes like early summer, home, comfort, and love. Ryan, our server, was so kind and authentic, as was the rest of the staff. Ryan told us that the owner makes nearly everything fresh in house, and that was reflected in the taste of the food. Thank you for the memories!

The fries were crispy and salty and fluffy. The lamb lollipops were sweet and a little spicy with an herbaciousness. And last but not least the bangers were rich and robust with a spectacular mustard sauce.

Borgo Italia

Italian restaurant

Borgo Italia is a charming, family-owned restaurant that offers Roman-style pizza, pasta, and classic Italian dishes. The restaurant is owned and operated by siblings who have created an authentic Italian trattoria with a genuine family-oriented atmosphere. Since its establishment in 2010, Borgo Italia has been known for its passion for food, regional traditions, authentic Italian recipes, and carefully selected wines from various regions of Italy.
We had a phenomenal lunch here today! My husband and I heard from others that this place was amazing and have been excited to stop in. The atmosphere is incredible. Very comfy and relaxing. It was too hot out to sit on the porch today but will totally be back for that in the fall. We had the bruschetta, chicken Marsala, and Lobster Ravioli. The lobster ravioli is probably the best pasta I’ve ever had (and I’ve eaten a lot of pasta.) We also appreciated great service from our waiter Dominic. The hostess was also super friendly. She overheard us discussing some of the drinks and came over to tell us about their mixologist and more about some of the options. All in all great experience. We can’t wait to come back with friends/family!

Food was delicious, flavorful and wine pairing was exquisite! I would absolutely be back. You should try the chefs pick you won’t regret it. Price is very aligned with service and quality/quantity of the food. Go try this place out!

Wow! Wow! Wow! It doesn’t get much more authentic Italian than this. Food was absolutely delicious and the service top notch. The chef is from Italy was our understanding and the place is run by an Italian family. It is so hard to find places like this in more rural areas. My husband had ravioli and I had a pizza. Absolutely amazing!!! Must try and a place to keep going back to for quality food and service ❤️

We’re pretty new to the Coweta Fayette area and went to Borgo Italia for the first time tonight with another couple. It was absolutely incredible!!! Everything, including the pasta, was made from scratch. Every one of us was raving about what we ordered. I haven’t had such a delicious meal out in ages. The owner Alessandro was so friendly and informative. The restaurant was so beautiful, the ambience was perfect, the service was impeccable. We can’t wait to go back!!

Our 2nd visit there was my birthday dinner. Alessandro and his "friends" provided excellent service. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was authentic Italian. Most likely will be a monthly dinner spot for us. Enjoyed meeting his family as well. You can tell they have pride in their restaurant and the heritage they bring from Italy.

Had an excellent time. Our server Lauren took great care of us. We had steak and pasta. It’s was so good. The staff was so friendly. We came back later that night for after dinner drinks. We sat on the patio with our two fur babies. They brought them water, and were just so friendly. Alex served us our after dinner drinks. I would highly recommend.

My husband and I noticed this place the last time we went to Nic n’ Norman’s next door (one of our favs!). We were so excited to have an Italian restaurant nearby! Sadly, we are still waiting for a GOOD Italian restaurant on this side of town….. While the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable, and the service is excellent, the food was SADLY lacking……in everything! The fresh made sausage ravioli was FULL of salt and contained no sausage, at least none that I could taste through the salt. The lasagna was actually brown……it was also thin, cardboard-like, with a layer of grease in the bottom of the dish, greasy meat, loaded with salt, and no sauce. We got a side of 4 meatballs - at $5.00 each! - that were hard, burned, and tasted like they were right out of the freezer. They claimed to be Angus meatballs, but they tasted mostly of breadcrumbs. They were brought to the table plain, but our server asked if we wanted marinara to go with them. (Yes, please!) The only saving grace was dessert. The limoncello cheesecake is delicious and melts in your mouth. My husband also enjoyed his chocolate cake. If you want drinks and dessert, this place is great! Otherwise, save your money or go next door.

We just had an amazing dinner experience here. The atmosphere was so inviting and special feeling. We had the burrata prosciutto appetizer. Delicious! The sausage ravioli was recommended so I ordered it. It was hands down, the best ravioli I've ever had. My husband had the porcini mushroom ravioli. He was in heaven. We finished off the meal with the lemon lemoncello cheesecake and the cannoli. Again, both amazing!! Can't wait to go back! Great comfortable atmosphere. We may have been a little casual but no one cared except us. We love the family feeling. The owner came by to offer recommendations and told us their story.

The Veranda Historic Inn

4.8

Inn
Bed & breakfast
The Veranda Historic Inn is a charming 1906 Greek revival-style B&B located just one block away from Senoia's Main Street. The inn offers beautifully decorated rooms filled with antiques and equipped with private bathrooms. Guests can explore the nearby attractions such as the Holberg Furniture Store, Buggy Museum, and Senoia Area Historical Society Museum. Additionally, there are various shops, restaurants, and historical sites within walking distance.
We had an incredible visit to the Inn. The staff were also incredibly accommodating! When our room was hot, they got it taken care of immediately and also offered us a free bottle of wine. The property was beautiful and the bed was comfortable! Loved spending our first anniversary here!

We had a wonderful overnight stay at The Veranda Historic Inn. The charm of this historic property is what drew us in, and we were so pleased to find that it’s also well maintained, clean, and welcoming. Our room was spotless and cozy, with everything we needed. The air conditioning kept things perfectly cool despite the summer heat, and the bed was very comfortable — we slept well and appreciated how peaceful the whole place was. There’s a guest fridge downstairs with cold bottled water, which was a thoughtful touch. We also found the TV easy to use, with live channels available — no issues there. The staff was kind and helpful, and the check-in process was easy. You can tell this inn is managed with care and pride. If you’re looking for a relaxing place with character and comfort in Senoia, this is a great spot. We’ll definitely stay again!

This place is absolutely one of my favorite places to stay when I'm on vacation. For the past few years, I have been spending time more in Senoia at this place and let me tell you, I enjoy it so much! The staff is always pleasant, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast is wonderful. If you are looking for a place to stay, stay here! Especially if you are fan of The Walking Dead.

Disappointing Experience at a Historic Inn I recently stayed at this historic inn, and while I understand that properties of this age come with their quirks, my experience left much to be desired. Firstly, the wall sconces in the room were not functional in the way you would expect. When pulling the chain to turn them on, instead of illuminating, the cheap round LED light fell off the top. The dim light provided was controlled by a button, which, frankly, was both ineffective and aesthetically unpleasing. Additionally, both beds were equipped with plastic mattress covers, which gave the room a feeling reminiscent of staying at a grandparent’s house — and not in a nostalgic or charming way. These covers creaked loudly with every movement throughout the night, disrupting sleep, while the fitted sheet constantly slid off the slippery mattress cover. To make matters worse, the clean bath towels were folded and left… on the bathroom floor. Not only is this unhygienic, but it’s also deeply unsettling to think that one would be expected to use towels left on a hotel bathroom floor. It begs the question — would anyone really feel comfortable drying off with these after stepping out of a shower? While the bathroom did show some expected signs of age, such as peeling paint on the door, this can be forgiven given the inn’s 100+ years of history. However, what cannot be overlooked is the lack of basic service during our three-night stay. The room was never serviced; no fresh linens, no bed-making, and no replenishing of amenities. The information binder in the room mentioned a “small breakfast” available each morning, but in reality, nothing was provided except a few leftover cookies from the previous night. This is hardly what one would expect from a place claiming to offer breakfast of any kind, and it certainly did not meet any reasonable standard. The Veranda’s information binder should be updated to reflect the absence of breakfast. That way, at least if there is no breakfast, it won’t leave guests with a taste of disappointment. Lastly, the room’s TV setup was less than impressive. The television sat on the mantle, with its cord hanging down the wall, plugged into a surge protector that dangled unsightly from the wall. This was not only tacky, but it also undermined the inn’s historic charm. Overall, this stay was a major letdown, and I would not recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable or even remotely pleasant experience. The historic charm simply isn’t enough to make up for the myriad of issues I encountered during my stay.

Just had the best four nights staying here at the veranda Inn . The rooms and the Hotel are beautiful, It didn’t feel like a hotel but like we were staying in someone’s home. Everyone made us feel so welcome. The complimentary cookies & cake were delicious aswell as the Tea, coffee and drinks in the mini fridge . They were definitely appreciated!! We can’t wait to come back to Senoia next year . What a wonderful place .

stayed for 1 nite.. that was enough yip we know its old but in uk this isn't old we have building that built b4 usa was discovered that have been turned into hotels and have basic necessities. like decent aircon. a fridge and a tv. aircon was as old as the building and for sure didn't cool the room down. warm water left on dresser. no fridge to put your milk in or water.now for anyone who's been to senoia knows it gets very very hot.. tv was balanced on fireplace with no channels.. never have I been into a hotel with a balanced tv and no channels. squeaky bed where when you even moved an inch it woke you up. for the money we paid for 1 nite I was expecting alot more. newly refurbished 🤔 mmm i would have not liked to have seen it before the refurbishment.. very shoddily done.not my idea of an old hotel.. stayed in alot better..and cheaper.. could also do with a deep clean..old doesn't mean dusty n dirty.. next time is griffin in a hotel with aircon.fridge n working tv. very disappointed was so looking forward to staying here. if you want basic for big price tag then this place is for you. but on the only plus the young girl who checked us in was lovely..

Great location but the property definitely needs a renovation on the exterior of the building and new carpet or flooring in the Walking Dead Room. Additionally, this is advertised as a Bed & Breakfast however there’s no breakfast as the restaurant on site is vacant and for sale. So this was a very disappointing aspect to our stay as we did not get the quintessential experience of a B&B.

I am a regular at this 119 year old The Historic Veranda Inn, Senoia, GA. I LOVE this 1906 Inn. It has a lot of history from over the years and has most of the original decor which makes it very interesting and quaint. There is a goldfish pond and a 1903 memorial of a past family child on the property. There are 10 sleeping rooms which is very nice with no hustle and bustle of a big hotel. There are sitting areas with snack/coffee, dining areas. If you like to read there is a library sitting area upstairs. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly and will assist you in any way they can! They may not be there 24 hours a day but if you need a manager for any reason at all you are able to contact them without a problem. I was just there this past weekend and did not want to leave. I will not stay at any other place when down in Senoia. There are a plethora of restaurants and shops on Main Street that are within seconds of walking distance from the Inn. I am so pleased that the City of Senoia has kept this historical site.
