Amusement park
Concert hall
Six Flags Over Georgia is a sprawling 290-acre amusement park located just beyond Atlanta. It offers a variety of high-speed roller coasters, water attractions, and rides for kids. The park's most notable attraction is a thrilling ride that features a 200-foot drop and several twists and turns. Additionally, visitors can enjoy the Dahlonega Mine Train ride through dangerous hills.
We absolutely loved Six Flags Over Georgia. The hospitality that the employees put forth was phenomenal. Everybody was kind friendly caring helpful I mean just absolutely showed every bit hospitality. The park was clean the rides were amazing we enjoyed the theme of DC Comics. We did not eat anything at the park other than a pretzel which was delicious warm and soft. We got the all day drink deal. That was definitely worth it. There was no wait times for many of the rides so we were able to go on everything we wanted several times that made it much more enjoyable. We're definitely coming back to this place

Our first visit ! We enjoyed it ! We went within 15min. Parked open . Parking area was good. Quite a walk depending where you park. There is disability parking much closer. We went on a Friday. Park was not packed. We got on the rides with minimal wait time to no wait time. Staff were very courteous and polite! Food very expensive. One good slice of pizza and they provide 2 bread sticks for $17+. Drink not included. Pretzel not gourmet$11.99. We did get the drink all day cup but it is $20 all day. They did have access to refreshments stations through out the park for refills. There is hills with inclines so where comfortable food wear. Beautiful landscaping! Overall we loved it !

We made a pit stop here on the tail end of our vacation on Labor Day weekend and loved every minute of it. Got there at 11am and got to enjoy almost every ride for the first few hours with very little lines. Even as the park filled up it never felt overcrowded. The lines eventually did get up to an hour wait for the bigger attractions but it still allowed for us to experience everything without sacrificing half the day in lines. An awesome way to spend a day. Check Groupon for discounted tickets. The refillable souvenir cups and the meal plan were clutch and ended up saving us a few bucks.
Jiovani S — Google review
Went here on a Saturday in September around 4pm. The park was half empty. Most rides had little or no wait. No need for fast passes for those. The Halloween stuff was also out. The haunted houses were varied really good. The new conjuring universe was the highlight. The actors scaring people around the park did a great job. It was hilarious seeing people freak out and run.
Jared H — Google review
We visited on Columbus Day. Parking was plentiful and the lines were fairly short. However, multiple rides were shut down. I was mainly there for my family, but the one ride i knew I’d be able to handle with spinal issues was the swings. They were closed. The kids enjoyed the coasters, though. The halloween decorations were cool.
Stephanie W — Google review
It’s a nice amusement park overall, but a lot of attractions were closed—either for maintenance or due to the weather—which was pretty disappointing. They have about eight thrill rides, but only a couple of them were actually exciting or fun. Some rides also sounded quite rusty. The lines weren’t too bad; I waited around 15 minutes for most rides, which wasn’t bad at all. Restrooms are located all around the park, but the signs are very small, so they were a bit hard to find. The restaurant, however, was not good. The food and drinks were both very expensive. Parking was also terrible—they have plenty of spaces, but they charge $35 per car, and the entrance to the parking lot only has a single lane. Even if you arrive early in the morning, expect a long line just to get in. One of the roller coasters even stopped while it was going up, and we got stuck for a few minutes. There was no announcement, and they eventually shut it down, which was pretty nerve-racking. Also, note that their operating hours change almost every weekend, so make sure to check the schedule on their website before visiting. I originally planned to spend the whole day there, but I ended up leaving after about four or five hours because I had already seen everything
Kelly L — Google review
We went there during the Fright Fest. There a lot of people at night and they closed at 11 pm. We had good time. There were a long line in the most of the rides about 20-30 minutes, but really worth it to wait. The management of the tickets was a little bit weird during Halloween but its okay. Halloween made the place more interesting with all the lighting, decorations and musics.
Food S — Google review
I think $85 (on top of my season pass) was way too steep for a flash pass (that ONLY included the haunted houses). It should have included ALL rides at THAT price. The haunted houses were lame. Food prices are way too high and food quality was poor. Burned burgers. Cold buns. Tee shirt prices :$30! Waste of money!

Department store
Chain department store offering a wide selection of clothing, accessories & homewares.
Great location for Amazon return! Quick and easy. The individual behind the counter was so helpful and willing to walk me through the process as I had several packages to return . Kohl's the store in itself is always very clean and intact. They were changing items over from Christmas and preparing for the next season. It's always a pleasant visit. Located in a plaza with other stores, as well as some restaurants around it.

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Kimberley in the Sephora department on multiple occasions. She is consistently pleasant! As well as very knowledgeable and helpful! Receiving great customer service unfortunately is a rarity nowadays. Kimberley however is a gem! I hope Kohl’s knows how lucky they are to have her on their team!

Wow! I went to Kohl's to drop off Amazon return and after they return, they gave me a $5 coupon to spend on anything with no minimum purchase hahaha, who doesn't like a coupon anyway? Interesting!!! I don't know what to get but I am forced to buy something with this $5 coupon. Excited Mbyeee

What a lovely experience. At 9:45 PM on a Friday night I walk into Kohl’s I was greeted with hello beautiful if I can help you with anything, please let me know. I asked if it was too late to try on an item. The associate responded not at all, walked me over to the dressing room and told me if I needed her to get me anything else to try on to let her know. With only 15 minutes left in their open hours these ladies were incredibly helpful and a pleasant. I couldn’t believe how much they were all willing to help me so late in the evening. I even walked into Sephora and exchanged some makeup that I bought over a week ago. I did all of this in under 15 minutes in Kohl’s with a smile and a 20% discount. I will be back there tomorrow and the next day just for the impeccable customer service. Kudos to Kohl’s!!! I 1000% recommend this location, it’s clean, organized and did I mention the SERVICE!!!! Wowwww I cannot say enough about how amazing the staff was at this location. They were phenomenal absolutely unbelievable.! I got four pairs of jeans shorts for under $60bucks! In 15 minutes!

Star rating is for the store, not the employees, they were wonderful! Every Kohls I've ever been in is generally the same, this one lacked merchandise, at least in the men's sections and electronics.
David W — Google review
They were just amazing people that made my shopping experience great. Both ladies at the counter were so nice.
O'Bernard D — Google review
Hate that management can’t get enough people here to do what they promise. Several times I’ve come in to do some shopping and an Amazon return, but they’ve said things like “we’re not doing Amazon returns today” or something. Another time they were on break with a huge line. I’d just skip this place altogether.

State Parks
Historical wooded state park offering hiking, picnicking & boating, plus fishing.
Every time I come to Douglasville, I have to go to Sweetwater. It’s a stunning little forest oasis with great trails, natural beauty, and good history. My dog loves it, I love it, and it’s good for us to get some fresh air and dip our toes in the water. They have done a lot of great work improving the trails, the visitors center, bridges, benches, and lookouts. Very impressed by the team here! Definitely recommend going out to enjoy the great nature of West Georgia.
Shawn B — Google review
Love this state park. Trails are marked nicely and the views are beautiful. You can fish, camp and just relax from so many areas within the park. The restrooms within the main day use area by the paddle rentals could use some attention (smelled worse than a men’s urinal) which is very atypical for GA state parks. Aside of this, the park, views, accessible parking, and ability to fish and enjoy are all wonderful and worth the experience.
AIA P — Google review
One of my favorite parks to go hiking on. Has a variety of different trails that each have there perks. The white trail is a long loop that is very easy for everyone to do. The red trail has the best scenery and has an easy section that shows the historical sites within the park, however the second half can be difficult but worth it for the views by the river. The orange trail will give you a good workout with all the uphill there is. The yellow trail is a more moderate orange trail, but still a slight challenge. There are more smaller section that are a nice enjoyable view and hike. Every trail is marked really well making it rather difficult to get lost. As a word of caution, the trails are not paved, so do bring good foot wear.
Brandon C — Google review
Wonderful state park, really well maintained, and all of the parks staff members are super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the park. Great place to go hiking, fishing, or even just driving around and sightseeing. A day pass only costs $5.00 for 1 vehicle entering, so it's well worth it, in my opinion. A+.
Aaron L — Google review
First time visiting this park and it was a great experience! Cheap and easy parking right by trails starts. There are maps with estimated times for each trail. Trails were clearly marked and indicated if a trail got more difficult. The moderate area of trails were a lot of fun with just a little bit of a challenge. Incredible sites and views are just stunning. On top of all of that, it's dog friendly (leashes required)

Sweetwater Creek State Park is a gem. The trails are beautiful, well-marked, and offer a great mix of scenery—from peaceful woods to the rushing creek and even historic ruins. It’s the perfect place for a hike, a picnic, or just to get a break from the city without driving too far. If you plan on cooling off in the creek, definitely bring water shoes—it makes splashing around way more fun and comfortable. The park is well-maintained, parking is easy, and there’s enough variety in the trails to keep both casual walkers and more serious hikers happy. One of the best outdoor escapes in the area.
Chris S — Google review
I love this park. I purchased the Ga State Park parking pass mainly because of how much I love to be here. It’s my favorite fishing spot out of the few I’ve been to. Also, the perfect place to hike with your family. I definitely recommend this park. I’ve never had to use their restroom so I cant speak on that portion.

I went to lake Lanier to paddleboarding and my own fault… so many boats.. so I wanted a good paddle and went here. Loved it. Someone previously told me it’s too busy but it was not.. I mean maybe if you’re looking for a grill lol but to get in the water and paddleboard it was perfect!

If you're on the hunt for a reliable pizza take-out and delivery option, look no further than Papa John's Pizza. This popular chain serves up a delightful array of classic and specialty pizzas, alongside tasty wings, sides, and desserts that are sure to satisfy your cravings. One standout item is their Honey Chipotle wings—an absolute favorite among fans! While some customers have noted changes in the crust's flavor over time, many still appreciate the overall quality of their meals.
Great place food was Good and the young man there was very professional and nice.

The lady with Dreds had no gloves on touching meat cheese and everything else with nothing on her dirty hands! Pizza only had sauce around the edges the middle was dry!! The worst papa John’s pizza I ever had! Will never go to this location again! Yuk
Thomas T — Google review
Staff was polite but very busy and seemed to be distracted. Chatting with each other. Price is normal. Fast food pizza prices. We've never had bad meal here. Timing has always been pretty good for us.
Christopher J — Google review
Omg OMG OMG I love I love the Chipotle honey or it's called Honey Chipotle wings at Papa John's absolutely delicious! However, they've changed something in their crust. It's not the way it used to taste. I don't really care for it and probably we'll just go back to ordering someplace else
Lee S — Google review
Ordered 2 pies online. Got to restaurant, because it said it was ready. Nope. The lady working decided she could just clear orders off screen, without them being cooked, because it was too busy... that's what she was complaining about. So me and 9 others are waiting. 5 of the 9 just left without food. Terrible Mngmt
John D — Google review
Great customer service and they don’t have a delivery fee that affects the tips the drivers should get like the competition…

It's American Pizza. Loaded with gobs of stuff. Too much smothers all the individual ingredients. Enough with the bread, already. The pizza, the sides, the desserts...all bread. Paying mostly for Flour and water. Ridiculous

Fast food restaurant
During my recent visit to Six Flags, I had the pleasure of dining at Johnny Rockets, and it was a delightful experience! The kid's meal is an absolute must-try; for just $10, it comes with four crispy chicken tenders, a tasty mix of fries and onion rings, a refreshing fruit cup, some fun fruit snacks, and a juice box. Everything was served hot and fresh—though I still ponder how frozen food can taste so good!
The folks working here are awesome. Friendly, fast and polite. Made my Six Flags holiday experience that much better 😉 Great job y'all!
Caroline H — Google review
I spent over an hour waiting for food at Johnny Rockets, and it was absolute chaos from start to finish. The line to order wasn’t terrible, but the line to get the food was a disaster. They had everyone crammed into a tiny, overheated room while one overwhelmed employee half-yelled random food items instead of calling out order numbers. People were grabbing whatever came up first just to escape the crowd — total free-for-all. When my turn finally came, they told me they couldn’t give me my kid’s meal because they were “out of applesauce and water.” Instead of offering a simple swap — like literally anything else on the menu — they told me I’d have to get a refund and re-purchase the adult combo for five dollars more (which didn’t even include a drink). Oh, and to get that refund? I’d need to go stand in line again. After some exhausting back-and-forth, they finally agreed to exchange the kid’s meal for two drinks — because at that point, I think they just wanted me to stop talking. Meanwhile, everyone around me was visibly frustrated. The guy handling the counter was ignoring questions, not managing the crowd, and the condiment situation was laughable — you had to ask individually for ketchup like it was a controlled substance. By the time I got our food, they were at least 50 orders behind and everyone looked ready to riot. For a place that only serves burgers and chicken tenders, this level of disorganization is impressive — in the worst possible way. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else.
Stuart A — Google review
Tried Jonny Rockets at Six Flags. Highly recommend the kid's meal! It included 4 tenders, a mix of fries and onion rings, a fruit cup, fruit snacks, and a juice box -- all for $10! Food was hot and fresh (can frozen food be fresh?) but mobile ordering didn't save any time. Plenty of outdoor seating available, but I wish there was more room inside.
Elle B — Google review
The food is overpriced and tastes just ok. On Saturday 4/20/24 they only had one person on register and one person making food. My fries came out speckled with black bits, probably due to unfiltered dirty oil.
Elsie A — Google review
Worst Johnny Rockets I've ever been. Cashier didn't know what she was doing, people doing the cheeseburgers were completely lost, resulting in delayed and then wrong order. The supervisor was the only one who made things (barely) work. Without him this would be complete chaos.
Vini M — Google review
Terrible super slow service, lack of hygiene from employees, supervisor eating in the cook area, cashier touching face and hair while taking orders, zero sense of urgency, little knowledge of job, what a waste of time
Osi M — Google review
The burger and fries were delicious. I was scared by the reviews but my food was great and it was served with lightening speed.
Brian P — Google review
So awfully slow. Took 20 minutes to get a single with fries. Some of the staff are nice and apologetic. One just yelled at people. $100 for 4 people

Soul food restaurant
Restaurant
Grannys Soul Food is a cozy establishment that specializes in traditional soul food dishes like macaroni and cheese, collard greens, turkey necks, yams, and dressing. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming. Customers have praised the flavorful turkey necks which were perfectly seasoned and served over rice alongside delicious sides of yams (which were described as "bussin") and macaroni. The portions are generous, ensuring a satisfying meal.
Some of the reviews had me nervous, because we know good soul food (having grown up in the Chi & the Nap and lived all over the United States) but being in town for just the weekend- Granny’s hit the spot! The service was welcoming, friendly, and attentive! Even after our meal, they checked on us! We had just hit up Pascal’s yesterday (which was really good), but Granny’s fried catfish, fried whiting and mac and cheese were more on point (sorry- just facts)!!! The squash, cabbage, rice and gravy, and green beans were perfect! The only thing that was a little over salted was the fried okra (2 shakes less and it would’ve been perfect)! We can’t comment on the dessert yet because we are too full to eat them now, but we did order the peach cobbler, pound cake, and strawberry cake. Based off of what we’ve had so far, we will be back! UPDATE- my husband couldn’t leave without taking a bite of the strawberry cake. He said it’s delicious!
Sherray M — Google review
Tried it for the first time after reading the reviews. It was really good and hit the spot. I had the fried catfish with cabbage and candied yams and cornbread. The fried catfish tasted like it did need a little more seasoning on it, but overall, it was good with the hot sauce. I would recommend this place if you're looking for good soul food. The customer service was also really good. I did spend $18 and some change on the plate.
Dominique M — Google review
I came to pick up a load. It was not ready. So I started looking for something to eat. I put in soul food. Granny's soul food came up. I called and asked if he had some oxtail's , he said girl come get you some of this good food and yes, sir. It was good. I went in there in everything looked so good. The place was nice and clean as well. Everyone was very nice. I will be back in saved it in my GPS..🥰🥰🥰
Tanya F — Google review
Friendly employees. Great food. I only had sides and they were all good. The Mac n cheese was very creamy and filing. The green beans were seasoned well and so good. Make sure to try the fried potatoes. Mine were hot, crispy and so good. My friends had the fried chicken legs and had to wait about 15 minutes. I guess it was cooked to order, but it was worth the wait. She said it was crunchy on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside.
Monica W — Google review
So glad I found this place drove 40mins and every bite was worth the ride. They make fried meals onsite so if you’re wanting fried chicken or fish you may want to order ahead, but if you don’t it’s still worth the wait. I got fried catfish (two whole pieces) baked Mac-n-Cheese (definitely NOT box Mac-n-Cheese) and fried okra. My mom had a huge turkey wing over rice, cabbage and yams. We were impressed with everything even the dessert and the meals came with cornbread muffins that won’t dry nor overly sweet. They a lil pricey for a can soda(1.50) but the food was so good I’ll just BYOB next 🤭. But I will be back to add to my back. Young lady at the counter customer service 10/10.
Miranda M — Google review
My family and I just placed a large order, 4 pork chop dinners, 3 fish dinners, a beef rib tip dinner, a slice of lemon cake, and a sweet tea. Everything was good but I'm very disappointed in the slice of cake for $4.95. Ya'll can do better it's hardly a slice it's so thin.
Debra D — Google review
I ordered take from Granny's Soul Food. My husband said that the service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. I had the Fried Whiting Fish, Mac n Cheese, Fried Okra, and a Cornbread Muffin. Overall, the food was good with some minor issues: The fish was well-seasoned and fried well, but it did not taste fresh; the mac n cheese could have used more cheese; and the okra needed a little more salt. The cornbread muffin was perfect! I look forward to trying them again!

Fantastic find. Never, EVER discount a place in a strip at a gas station! I had the BBQ chicken drum and thigh meat that was amazing. Great hickory smoke and BBQ sauce with collard greens and black eyed peas! Everything was delicious!

Park
County park offering multiple soccer fields, plus a playground, walking trails & a picnic area.
This park is beautiful, well maintained and pleasant, the playground is small but cute and on the back you have several soccer fields to play, plus a little creek with a bridge. Absolutely recommended
Patricia V — Google review
No shaded areas of the playground. The entire play set and slides get extremely hot if the forecast is sunny and over 75 degrees. The swings are missing. I'm not sure if they will be soon replaced or not. Most people visit for the large soccer fields.
Marquita G — Google review
It used to be a great park. Now the swings are missing and there's just a pole. The see-saw doesn't work properly. There is graffiti on the jungle gym. The field looks good though.
Mrs. T — Google review
Nice great place to do and watch the grandkids play. Had a great time with them playing outside again. All the kids had fun out playing glad to see more children.
Danita B — Google review
Huge park with a great playground, pavilion and lots of green space and a bridge over the river. Before I knew it my toddler was hauling across the soccer field and ankle deep in the creek. Very cool park for family fun!
Amber V — Google review
Nah. It still has good bones but today....the day before 4th of July. I am here and it smells like poop at the tables. Flys are covering the table and swarming me non stop. There is NO escape. What happened to the beautiful park?!?!. The side walk is covered in dirt and mud making it look nasty. The swings are gone, parts of the playground are missing. Im disappointed in what has happened to this place. Please Lark and recreation come clean this up and replace the broke parts.
Stefanie R — Google review
All of the swings are missing for some reason. Some of the obstacles had the bottom chain broken so kids would hit the metal poles holding the structure. Not safe. I would request they add more mulch as we went the day after it rained and there were a few puddles to where kids would either get their shoes wet or parents would yell at them to avoid those areas. It wasn’t so pleasant.

Every time we walk thru the door, it gets louder! My son and my nephews always let me know that I made a good decision to get the membership. They enjoy every bit of their time here. Easy to join the WiFi so I can work while they play.

Just wanted to provide negative feedback on my experience at Altitude Austell on 03/29/2025. I placed a food order for a single order of Fries a little before 7pm, waited an entire hour and still received no fries. I eventually asked for a refund. Just wanted to highlight this poor customer service . I understand parties are priority but we are paying customers as well. Hope for better service in the future as we are frequent patrons of this establishment

Thank you for a wonderful birthday party for my granddaughter last night. The hostess was efficient, communitive and fun! The umpires carefully monitored the floor. Everyone of all ages had a great time jumping and sliding. The bathrooms were clean. The pizza was delicious and freshly made in house. It was a wonderful party!

We had our daughter's 5th birthday there and everyone was so kind and helpful! The private party is fantastic value for your money and experience. The kids are entertained the whole time and it's fun for the parents. We absolutely loved our party time there!

All personnel are very professional, kind, friendly, and provide great customer service. As membership holders, Most of them recognize us when we get there LOL The membership is so worth it, especially if you live in the area. It's never crowded and always feels easy to do everything offered. The facility is always clean and well maintained. And, I love how fresh and modern the atmosphere feels.

This was my first time visiting. I was excited because they advertised buy one get one half off tickets on Tuesday’s. When I arrived I found out they were not offering the deal due to Spring break. Everything else was fine but it was almost $90 for 4 people on a Tuesday to jump for an hour. Please update you website to advise people specials are not honored during school breaks…

I love the convenience of this place, but it does feel a bit gloomy without windows. More attentive staff than skyzone and better display of professionalism. Also, the sock policy is a scam. I forgot my socks once and I had to pay $17 for the family to buy extras. I might consider reducing this to 4 stars just for that alone.

My host, Carlos, was absolutely excellent. He made my son's birthday experience one to remember. He was attentive, considerate, and amazingly helpful. I will be back just because the service here was unforgettable. We had an amazing time!

If you're on the hunt for a one-stop shopping destination, look no further than Target! This retail chain is your go-to for everything from home goods and clothing to electronics and exclusive designer collections. Recently remodeled, the Target in Austell boasts a spacious layout that feels even larger than its counterpart in Douglasville. As I strolled through the aisles, I noticed the staff diligently conducting a sales floor audit—an impressive strategy to keep inventory fresh and minimize excess stock.
This Target as well went through a remodel not too long ago, it's nice and spacious. I feel like it's actually bigger than the Target in Douglasville but of course that's just my opinion. As I'm walking around, their staff was actually doing an overall sale's floor audit, this is how the store stays up on product coming in and not having so much left over. Very smart idea especially when it comes to the stores overall inventory, friendly staff and well-stocked.
CeeJay C — Google review
Easily the most disgusting Target I’ve been in. I know times are tough. But they’ve clearly cut payroll to the point that the stores now resemble a K-mart in 2007. And that’s being kind to K-mart. It’s clear that NO district manager has walked that store in months. Merchandise just left everywhere on the floor. Chaotic shelves. It’s a miserable shopping experience. And sad. I know Target has had problems lately. But slashing labor costs to invest in more AI initiatives isn’t the answer.
Jeremiah G — Google review
This target has the worst costumer service!!!! Came to return something and the lady didn't even want to look at me and looked disgusted touching the item I was returning then told her she can toss the bag away she said the trash is over there you can do it. And seemed like she didn't want to be around my presence I never like assuming someone is being prejudice but come on now get real that dosnt look cute in this day in age! Don't make others feel uncomfortable and like there presence is a bother to you. As you may never know what there mental state is. And if it was you who was having a bad day I wish you the best and hope your days get better!
Veronica R — Google review
I’ve been a long-time Target shopper and Target Circle member, but this experience has been incredibly disappointing. I received a Graco Simple Sway Baby Swing ($129.99) as a gift from my Babylist registry that was fulfilled and shipped by Target (Order #912002421205005). Because the gift didn’t include a Target gift receipt, I’ve spent over an hour on the phone and even went to my local store — and I was still told there’s no way to return or exchange it. One associate even suggested I “ask the purchaser to return it” or “just keep it,” which was extremely frustrating and unhelpful. All I wanted was a Target gift card so I could put the funds toward other essentials for my newborn, but I was denied at every turn. Compared to Walmart and Amazon, where registry returns are quick and seamless, Target makes this process unnecessarily difficult — even for long-time loyal customers. I expected more from a company I’ve supported for years. If you’re creating a Babylist registry, be cautious about selecting Target as your fulfillment option. Without a gift receipt, returns can be virtually impossible. This has been one of the most dissatisfying customer experiences I’ve had with Target.

Target in Austell is located in a big shopping center with ample parking. It is clean orderly with friendly staff. It has CVS Pharmacy in it but it does not sell produce, fresh vegetables or fruits.
Talal Z — Google review
Who ever this lady is has an attitude problem. Two of them standing in front of me and never acknowledged me at all while im standing at pick up at the pharmacy. Someone walked past me to asked her a question she helped him. I walked over to her and she an attitude and proceeded to talk to the other worker and left me at pick up yet again and then took her time to come over to me. I believe she is a supervisor but very unprofessional and i felt uncomfortable. If you dont want to do tour job work somewhere else.
Deante M — Google review
Melinda at the register is the only reason i smiled today. Thank you for being such a kind person and making my target experience enjoyable.
Hannah P — Google review
Do not go to this Target if you need to buy groceries. They barely have a frozen food section and no fresh produce. It was neat walking through a super retro Target, but the nostalgia ended quickly when I realized I could only do part of my shopping at this store. A lot of items were out of stock and the store was organized rather oddly, so it was hard to find what I needed. I don’t think I’ll be coming here again.

This is a very organized and well kept big lots. They already have Halloween and Christmas items out in September. I’ve always loved Big Lots, they have lots of great deals especially when you shop on the right days. I’ve bought furniture from them in the past and it lasts. From state to state I’ve never had a problem with their customer service. 👌🏾

I frequently visit this location and I’m new to the area. Most of my visits have been great, with friendly service and greetings, once not so great. But my last visit to purchase furniture I was assisted by Steve who was thorough, professional and answered all of my questions. Big lots usually has great prices and promos. Over all this is a great location and I’m happy with my recent purchase, just waiting on delivery.

Thai restaurant
Nestled in Austell, Thai of Austell is a charming eatery that serves up beloved Thai classics like curries and pad Thai, alongside enticing lunch specials. This hidden gem is renowned for its vibrant flavors, particularly the coconut soup that has patrons raving—so much so that you might find yourself too eager to snap a photo before diving in! The Tom Kha Gai soup here stands out as one of the best around, perfectly balancing sweet, savory, and sour notes.
Their Thai food is so delicious!!! I try the Tom Kha Gai soup at every Thai restaurant I visit, and I can honestly say this one was the best I’ve had! It was the perfect blend of sweet, savory, and sour. I also tried a few bites of my companions’ dishes and they were also delicious. The cashew nut stir fry with chicken was perfectly seasoned, and the pad Thai was classically delicious. I hope to come back if I visit Georgia again!
Sophia G — Google review
The “h” in Thai of Austell might be silent, but the flavors? Absolutely not! This spot is a hidden gem for authentic Thai cuisine, and let me tell you—their coconut soup makes me extremely happy. So happy, in fact, that I devoured it before I even thought about taking a picture. (Trust me, you’ll understand once you try it.) As a vegetarian and someone who’s lactose intolerant, I opted for coconut milk in my chai tea instead of heavy cream. While it did coagulate a bit, the flavor was still on point—a warm, comforting pairing. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, making it great for a quick bite or a casual lunch meeting. And if dining in isn’t your thing, their food holds up beautifully for takeout and delivery (shoutout to my many satisfying DoorDash orders). Bottom line: The food is so good, I forgot to take pictures. If That’s the only evidence you need—go taste it for yourself!

My favorite go-to Thai restaurant, they are so family oriented and have a comfy atmosphere in their restaurant. I always get my fav soups, coconut and tom yum soup. Always the sweetest! I have been buying from them for years 🤍 Usually fast take out as well

This cozy restaurant in Austell is a hidden gem. I tried the spicy fried rice with chicken, and it was delicious. My mom, a regular here, always gets the veggie fried rice. My daughter opted for the plain chicken wings, which I didn't find particularly impressive, but she enjoyed them. I'll definitely be coming back.
Janelle W — Google review
It is really good food and I've been here many times. The service is always courteous and fast. The atmosphere is quite cute and quiet considering it is a small restaurant. I would recommend it as it is well located and reasonably priced compared to higher end Thai restaurants in Atlanta.

Stopped in for a quick bite. Enjoyed our Pad Thai and chicken curry. Small place. Service was good. The food was pretty darn yummy and flavorful. We enjoyed our food. Ambiance was okay but not great but the food made up for it.
A G — Google review
The staff were very friendly. I would have rated them a 5 in that area if I didn't wait almost 40 minutes for salad, steamed white rice and sauteed vegetables. The restaurant was small but very clean in the dining area and all.the guests appeared to enjoy themselves. My food was tasty but the portions for my entree were smaller than most takeout restaurants. The Thai salad was regular size and very good.
Tiffani P — Google review
This is my go-to Thai food restaurant for the past 14 years since it's near work & I love supporting family businesses. The interior is clean & intimate, prices are reasonable, and the service is great. As for the food…it’s consistently delicious and the spice level can be adjusted for those who love spice without flavor being sacrificed. My favorites are pad won sen with shrimp, shrimp pineapple curry fried rice, spicy basil duck, spicy basil (minced chicken), fried snapper, massaman curry w/shrimp, green curry with salmon, green curry with shrimp, Tom yum soup, pad Thai, spring rolls, and Thai tea!

Fast food restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a satisfying fast-food experience, look no further than Five Guys. This popular chain is known for its made-to-order burgers, crispy fries, and hot dogs, all served alongside complimentary peanuts to munch on while you wait. During my recent visit to a location in Marietta, I was impressed by the quality of the food—each burger was juicy and flavorful with perfectly crisp edges that elevated the taste even more.
This Five Guys location always has friendly service. The food is typical for Five Guys, which is delicious. My burger in my most recent trip was great. It was tasty and the edges had a little bit of crisp to it that made the burger better than usual. Of course, the fries are always the best.
TaRan W — Google review
I visited Five Guys Austell on September 17 around 9 PM and this was one of the dirtiest restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I paid a little over $15 but walked out without eating because of how disgusting the store was. The drink station was already dirty, but when I walked to the waiting area, I was shocked — fries were all over the floor (piled up near the fryer), the grill looked greasy and unclean, and the milkshake machine was gross. Counters and work areas were a mess. I asked for a refund and pointed it out to the cashier, who said she was running the register and fryer while the other employee made burgers. But here’s the thing — I was the ONLY customer in the store. This wasn’t the result of a rush. From the looks of it, the mess had been there all day. Customer-facing areas should be a top priority when it comes to food handling, and there was zero effort made to maintain basic cleanliness. At that point, I couldn’t trust the food safety or hygiene. I got my refund and left. Unacceptable, unsafe, and a health hazard. Management seriously needs to address this.
April Y — Google review
What a great staff!! I had to admire how the team was moving quickly and efficiently to get everyone order. They took initiative to insure there was excellent customer service and were very friendly. Greeted with a smile which is what's missing in most food industries!
Steffani S — Google review
Dispite the name, they are very understaffed. Expect to pay $15 for just a cheese burger by itself. Wait times are 30-40 minutes if you're lucky since they are so busy. 1 hour wait times for 1 burger is normal here. You can buy ground beef and burger ingredients and cook it at home before you get your 1 burger.
Jim R — Google review
Good burger and fries, regular Coca-Cola. It was really good.
Cisco — Google review
I have been to this location dozens of times! The service sure has gone downhill! The quality as well! So i purchased two bacon cheeseburgers online for a pick up. Well i go to pick it up and they are out of cheese. Unable to do a refund! Manager says i called him a liar when i asked for some sort of proof i would get a refund at a later date and to top it all out my burger came with the wrong toppings and with a patty the size of a mcdouble patty! Five guys just lost a customer that purchases here at least 1x a month.
Rafael S — Google review
Service at this location is absolutely disgusting & the food is never fully done! The Caucasian short girl with the messy hair doesn’t even wear a hairnet and she’s very rude! She’s always hopping in conversations when people aren’t talking to her! She needs to focus on these undercooked fries!
Life N — Google review
Overpriced food for an underwhelming experience. I ordered a simple cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard, and grilled onions. They left the onions off my burger and put bacon there instead. Also, there is a sign in the restaurant that says that the burgers are prepared well done. Well done means no pink in the burger. My burger was not well done. If a restaurant is going to charge extremely high prices for their food, I expect my socks to be knocked off. This was a colossal waste of money! A mistake I shall not make again!

Dolly's Farmhouse Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience that feels like stepping into a warm, welcoming home. As you walk in, you're greeted by charming children's artwork adorning the walls, adding to the restaurant's cozy southern ambiance. The attentive staff treats you like family; one waiter even hand-mixed chocolate milk just for a guest! Diners rave about the delicious food prepared by talented chefs and served with genuine hospitality.
We got the pancake breakfasts and split some sausage gravy biscuits. The food was delicious, hot, and fast! The atmosphere was great, the owner greeted us like family and made us feel so welcome. It felt like coming home to Grandma's, when we're back in the area we will definitely be back!

I had the most lovely experience at Dolly’s! As soon as you enter, you’re surrounded by the sweetest coloring sheets from all the kids that have eaten there and hung their artwork up. And the entire restaurant is adorned with southern charm from their curtains to tables to wall decor. Our waiter was so kind, and made us feel like family. I asked for chocolate milk, and they didn’t have any premade so he hand-mixed a glass for me. The food was tasty and I wish I lived closer so I could come again. I got an omelette and hash browns and sausage — all of it was wonderful. Thank you Dolly’s for such a lovely breakfast experience.

This is not a must try kinda restaurant. They really should be a shame of themselves. We travel all over trying all kinds of food from all walks of life. When we came to this restaurant it was totally disappointing. The server was nice. The restaurant tables where a little dirty but we looked passed that. Waited awhile for our food. When we got the food Grits where cold so cold that the cheese wouldn't melt they where not done at allll then the almost $5 corn beef hash was not even 2 oz in size not worth it this was a waste of time and money. And to top it off we where told the owner was the cook! When you know better you do better we will not be coming back to this place.

This is a true rarity these days - the classic family run southern restaurant that seems to have gone the way of the dodo bird. Excellent and affordable food served quickly by a kind and attentive staff. We went in a group of 10 and had no problems getting seated and had no issues with our order!

Omg, my husband and I had lunch at Dolly’s Farmhouse for the first time today and my lord the food was awesome! Mr. Brown is a phenomenal chef and our server Amy was magnificent and very charismatic. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and what they had to offer, she was kind and had an infectious smile and attitude. We will be returning very soon

This place had excellent Meats and the mashed potatoes were good. The fried pork chops were excellent and even the hamburger steak was good. We didn't like the corn it tastes too vinegary. The biscuits were divine. The atmosphere very homey. We came at the end of the day,so they didn't have country fried steak. I will give them another shot for breakfast one day.

Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings is a popular chain that specializes in serving up delicious fried chicken fingers, mouthwatering wings, and hearty sandwiches, all embodying the essence of American comfort food. While some might find the prices a tad high for what you get, many patrons rave about the freshness and flavor of their meals. The service at Zaxby’s consistently receives praise for being friendly and efficient, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience.
I feel it may be a little overpriced for my likings. But its tasty and fresh and service is always great. I may just be cheap. Not a fan of their fries. But a huge fan of their service and cleanliness

We came to Zaxbys Sunday to celebrate my child’s birthday . My brother treated all of us and after paying we realized something had been left off the order . We came back to counter to get the frozen lemonade our cashier forgot . The cashier was amazing … however the manager that she asked if she could just give us the drink kept asserting that the cost was 1.25. Which we weren’t opposed to paying the cashier was showing kindness because we had spent $122 dine in. I understand children have to learn however Jas? Was condescending to the cashier in front of customers and rude to the customers . THATS NOT GOOD BUSINESS. If you have to assert yourself to show power you don’t really have it. If it weren’t my child’s birthday I would’ve asked for a refund and took our money elsewhere . I can honestly say this store will NEVER get another dime. To the young lady with the locs . You sweetheart are a gem and have great customer service thanks for taking orders from all of our kids like they were adults and being patient. JAS, even if the store was yours your behavior was off putting and not very gracious .
A S — Google review
There are two Zaxby’s near where I live, and this location has always been my favorite for being the fastest. However, tonight my family and I had the worst experience with the order taker, Leyla. She’s not a good order taker and makes the process more complicated than it needs to be. I asked for two orders of the eggrolls, fully aware that one order comes with two pieces. Leyla asked my spouse, who was placing the order, “One order of eggrolls comes with two eggrolls. Do you still want two orders?” He responded yes. Simple enough—we wanted four pieces total. No different than ordering two number ones. When we got to the window and paid, I checked the bag and realized there was only one order of eggrolls. My spouse flagged her down and told her one was missing. Instead of correcting it, she got defensive, saying she had asked if we wanted two eggrolls and we said yes. I explained exactly what was said, and she told us to pull forward. As she walked away, she slammed the drive-thru window. At that point, I was upset. I blew the horn to get her attention, and she tried to ignore us until another young lady came over. Leyla eventually approached the window again with an attitude, as if she was ready to argue. I made a few comments about her lack of professionalism and asked for a manager. A brown-skinned man with dreads came to the window, but he clearly didn’t care. He handed us the missing eggrolls, and when I asked for her name so I could contact corporate, he said, “I can’t give that information out,” and shut the window. If you can’t handle the simple task of correcting an order in a professional way, maybe find another form of income that doesn’t involve working with the public. Someone more customer-friendly should definitely be handling the front window.

I was extremely disappointed with the customer service at Zaxby’s during my recent visit. The staff was inattentive and seemed more interested in chatting with each other than helping customers. My order was wrong, and when I politely pointed it out, I was met with attitude instead of an apology or any effort to fix the issue. It felt like my concerns didn’t matter at all. For a place that promotes hospitality, the experience was frustrating and completely unacceptable. Order was at 9:21 "and to the young lady who said "he ain't talking to me like that she seriously need an attitude change or she will be in fast food all her life if that attitude does not change !
Lonnie P — Google review
No one answers the phone when you call especially when your order is incorrect I tried calling four times. No one picked up the phone. If the distance wasn’t an issue I would go back up there, but that’s fine. I’ll deal with this issue another way. I’ve had a couple of encounters. I have tried to excuse the service level, but not anymore.

I had pulled into the drive-thru around 3:34 and I was greeted with two very unpleasant workers. they were talking to me like they were rushing to have me out there but yet they made me pull in the curbside pickup. and my Sprite tasted a little off. and they got my order wrong.
Prince M — Google review
Everything food, hot, fresh, quickly prepared. Customer service wasn't the best. While the young lady with the braids working the window, said all the appropriate phrases, the demeanor and speedy and dismissiveness came off as rude and unprofessional. Other than that, this location generally provides great customer service, friendly, professional and great food. So this warranted a review, due to the oberservation and demeanor of the window server.
Glennisha W — Google review
I hope the owner see this review. This is the worst zaxbys have ever been to. This was my first time on Friday 10/17 and it will be my last. Customer service is horrible! Me and other drivers were in the drive thru for over 30 minutes just the place our orders. And when I finally get to the window and pay the young lady told me to pull up to the door they will bring out my order, I waited again for another 5 minutes 😒 I tried to have patience but OMG it is awful! The lemon pepper dry rub was so wet and saggy! Omg I will never go back there.
