It's a big mall with different shops and a food court where you get to enjoy eating woth your family or friends. Lines can sometimes be long but it goes fast from my personal experience some might disagree. It's a good place to shop if you looking for a variety of shops from local to high class.

I was at Greenacres Shopping Centre a few days ago but wasn't there to have fun or anything. I was accompanying a college buddy of mine who went at the FNB branch that's in Greenacres Shopping Centre. Overall, Greenacres Shopping Centre is an attractive & spotless mall. It wasn't my first time. I was born & still living in Port Elizabeth, I've visited Greenacres Shopping Centre countless of times, I can't even keep count.

Very clean environment and friendly customer service on all merchandise shops , I had wonderful experience there .

I had the privilege of watching a game from the presidential suite. The food was really good. Staff were quite friendly, except this one lady who was belligerent on being racist, sending black people away for being under-dressed while she would consider letting others in the same dress-style go in, it was appalling. Otherwise, I really enjoyed watching the game from this vantage point.

An amazing stadium, watch out for pickpocketers after events, well looked after and clean. Lots of signage and maps around the stadium to find your seating.

I'm from Pretoria, and I remember coming here for a stadium tour and it was so iconic and modern since it's opening back in 2010, it was insane and I would love coming here again for maybe a rugby game, concert or football game! 🏉⚽

Went to bayworld the place is not too expensive but the ocean part was closed and we could only visit the dinosourus, meuseam and the reptiles. The gift shop was closed and years later it is still saying coming soon . Some of the specimens was dry or broken. Some of the displays was of or lights do not work. Some displayed objects was full of dust The place really needs a revamp or maintenance as you will see the place is not getting maintenance on a regular basis. Some people who work there is bias against some of the visitors as they will tell you no food and or drink allowed but when you walk up the stairs not only will you see the staff member munch on a burger you will also see other visitors eating and drinking. There was also a meuseam tour but we were not given the opportunity to join the tour with the guide

Bayworld was once a treasured destination in Port Elizabeth. Families would visit with excitement, children wide-eyed as they watched dolphins leap through the air, or wandered through the museum filled with displays that brought the natural world to life. It was a place that inspired curiosity and created lasting memories. But those days feel like a distant dream. Today, Bayworld is a heartbreaking sight. What once stood as a symbol of pride and learning has been reduced to a decaying, neglected space. The animal enclosures are in a dreadful state. Trash is scattered in and around them, with no effort made to keep the areas clean or safe. In some cases, there are even dead animals left in the enclosures, a truly disturbing sign of how far standards have fallen. It is difficult to understand how such a lack of care has been allowed to continue. The entire facility feels forgotten. Dust clings to every surface, and windows are so dirty they block out the light. Once vibrant and informative displays have remained unchanged for over a decade, making the museum feel more like a time capsule than a living, educational space. Nothing has been updated, improved, or even maintained. The signs of decay are everywhere, from broken fixtures to faded posters and empty exhibit rooms. Visitors who remember Bayworld in its prime can only feel dismay at the contrast. There is no sense of progress or rejuvenation. Instead, the space feels abandoned, not just physically but in spirit. The energy that once made Bayworld a place of joy and discovery has been completely lost. The sadness is made worse by the knowledge of what it used to be. It was a place that held potential to educate and inspire, a place that could have evolved and remained relevant. But that opportunity has been squandered. Bayworld now serves as a grim reminder of what happens when a place is left to deteriorate without vision or care. The community deserves better. The animals deserve better. And the memories of what Bayworld used to be deserve more than this slow and painful decline. Until serious changes are made, it will remain not only a disappointment but a disgrace.

Best time to visit this place is during school days. The place seems a bit old inside but there is soo much great things to learn about the Eastern Cape here.

We were welcomed by the friendly staff, they informed us that the aquarium is closed due to construction. The museum is big, has a variety of things to look for. It was the first time I see fashion section in a museum. What was more interesting was a section that contains a list and things that happened first in PE. The snake section is something else, saw the biggest python. It was a nice experience, hope after the constructions the place will be maintained to standard.

The museum is good, reptile park was ok. Unfortunately the aquarium was under maintenance and couldn't go there. A lot of the museum things could have been kept more cleaner, it has accumulated a bit of dust over the years especially the ones sealed inside a case.

It was lovely seeing the penguins and seals and was very educational but the place needs work. Part of the aquarium has been closed down. I really hope that the necessary renovations can be done soon to return the aquarium to its former glory. The animals are in good condition but they deserve better. The museum was very interesting and much bigger than I expected, I actually ran out of time and didn't get through everything. It's seen better days but all in all Bayworld was still a really fun experience!

The animals are not being kept well after. Even plastic in the cages. It honestly so sad. You can see how depressed those poor babies are. The crocodile doesn’t even have water. They. Need. To. Be. Taken. Care. Of. It feels like walking into a graveyard.

Beautiful place. Well maintained. (Field) I've been coming here for a while now and I have to say, the facilities are top-notch except for the ladies' toilets which need some attention and maybe some toiletpapier wouldn't hurt during events.

Went to see the Sunrisers play against paarl Royals I was sitting in the suite it was amazing view and great service the people were nice and they always tried to make my stay amazing I wish I had the new yersey of the Sunrisers but hopefully next time to a great season and great cricket visit St George's cricket ground they never disappoint

45 minutes to get out of the parking yesterday. Tried to call center management, phone just rings and rings, no answer. Do something about the navigation of traffic on weekends.Address parking structure. So many bad comments here saying this, you reply saying "we'll do better" - where? Those comments were years ago. Why not get people directing traffic flow on a weekend. People are selfish and will not allow right of way. It's wild to wait 45 minutes to leave a shopping center. And it was that case at every single exit.

I am so impressed with the staff that work in walmer Park..after going to several shops I got into my car and realized that I had lost my phone. I went back not even sure where to begin.. the staff at Uniq and at Contempo called and helped me look for my phone. The lady from Contempo even went with me to ho call it in the car, just in case it had fallen into one of the packets..we went past the information centre and, lo and behold, my phone was there having being left at Sorbet.. thank you for the high integrity walker park staff.. in this day and age, it is rare to have honest people work at retails

FIX YOUR UNDERCOVER PARKING TICKETS. A nice shopping experience changed into a nightmare trying to leave because of faulty tickets. Didn't know where to go as the lady over the intercom is speaking unclear over the mic. Had to go all the way into the mall to the info counter for help.

Been here many times. Have always had a pleasant experience. Beautiful little to no trash. The ocean is just gorgeous. Nice hike along the left if you’re facing the beach, have never gone to the end of the hike, but a pretty nice one. Quite windy at times though. Perfect for going on a date, going with family and just hanging out with friends. I have no complaints or at least nothing to nope about. A pretty cool place to go to, I’d definitely suggest it:

Went horseback riding, and our trail led us on the Sardinia Bay Beach. Beautiful dunes, clean beaches, and pereft for family or solo visits. Loved every moment of it.

A beach that has relatively comfortable sand. The highlight of the beach are the sand dunes which are decently beautiful and the higher you go on the dunes the more untouched they are. No water sport activities here.

Wow, simply wow! This is by far my favourite beach as of today. Beautifully clean (4 lovely people were constantly picking up trash), spectacular views, excellent swimming, a lifeguard which is super helpful and friendly (not there the second time we went), dunes (my poor legs) and dog friendly as well. The only negatives I can think of is that the ice-cream by the parking is ridiculously overpriced and that there aren't toilets facilities available. Those two things on their own are not enough to reduce the score though. My kids loved it and we'll be back for sure.

A beautiful beach away from the hustle and bustle in town. The beach itself is spotless without the broken bottles often found at other beaches. Just be prepared to climb up a steep sand dune to get to the water, the walkway is no longer accessible. The perfect place to come in the evening to relax.

I don't go to Wimpy regularly anymore but this Wimpy is really in a class of it's own. From, reception, service and quality of the food. Unfortunately being inside the mall I only gave them a three. We had a function their with our staff and even the owners were taking part by giving applause when we handed over the awards. I can highly recommend anyone in Port Elizabeth to feel free to support them and be rest assured that you will receive great service.

Coffee wasn't great. I love my coffee, I've had Wimpy coffee before, this branches coffee was the worst I had anywhere. Also found a hair in my daughter's food gave it to the waitress and nothing was done.

The experience was a pleasant one. I must say I haven't been a big fan of wimpy of recent times because it's become very system orientated down to counting chips 😅 The experience I have had recently at the walmer branch was nice because they weren't shy with portions and the burger,chips and milkshake special was made with love.The waitress and service was good. Took my granddaughter & a friend for Friday lunch after school. Our waitress, who is not from South Africa is an absolute gem. The kiddies menu has a nice variety, meal comes with chips, soda or milkshake and a toy. I love it that they serve all day brekkie!!

The flapjack i ordered as seen on the photo is small dry and old and doesnt even look like a flapjack. The food is cold. And not enough salt for the chips. I ordered cutlery and didnt get any. The food tasted like yesterdays food warmed up and delivered cold. I exoectv

We couldn’t finish this seafood platter for 2 after the sushi😜But our leftovers turned out to be a good home light supper. This place is a MUST! Safest to make a booking if on a weekend. If you’re in Gqeberha for 2 nights - 1 day must be at Coachmans Restaurant and the other night La Kouzina. It’s the same owners - so a double treat over 2 days 🥂

This place is absolutely gorgeous, quite big in the inside. The ambiance is so tranquil. I had supper there with friends, Food was scrumptious. Service was amazing, big portions as well. We had a great time. Their prices are very reasonable as well.

What a disappointment! I am not one to ever complain, but...... Our first experience and our last!! My husband and I went last night for dinner to celebrate our 15 year anniversary and we left there feeling very unhappy and disappointment. I cannot belive we paid what we paid for the food we received! We eat out quite often and dont mind spending money on quality food, but I am sorry! The food was disgusting!! Especially the beef snitchel! All my husband could taste was the crunchy batter that turned into a paste after a few chews and the meat was so thin he could not even taste the meat! The Moussaka wasn't great, very mediocre, actually made me feel ill! The quality of the food is not good at all... We also had the prawn and halloumi skewer and the calamari heads for starter, again it was not great. The service was not up to scratch. We were sitting and watching how the waitresses were standing at the bar doing nothing for long, while we were sitting without drinks and had our finished plates on the table (for long). They need to be more awake! One of the drinks we received was wrong! My husband ordered a brandy and coke, when it eventually arrived, he realised after a few sips it was a Spice gold and coke, which he doesn't enjoy! We did mention it and all we got was 'So sorry about that'... No attempt to correct the wrong!! We paid for a drink that he did not drink! This was a very unsatisfactory experience and just put a damper on our special evening!

Exceptional! We loved this restaurant we had to go back twice while visiting PE for a weekend. The authentic Greek tapas were our favourite. The service was brilliant - also loved the classy outfits that the waitresses wear. The menu offers something for everyone from Greek to pastas, pizzas and even sushi. We also saw platters of sushi going out and it looked amazing! Sorry we couldn’t try it too. The cocktails also get a 10/10. Thank you for the most enjoyable dining experiences 🤗

Came here for my anniversary and was not disappointed! Decor: 10/10 - what better place than to watch the moon rise over the ocean Food 10/10- I tried a range of food from the mezze to the sushi (sushi is probably some of the best I have tasted ever) Drinks- 10/10 - a wide cocktail menu and one of the few places in Gqeberha you can find a decent martini. Bartender seemed a bit overwhelmed though. Service - 10/10 - our waitress Nicola was very attentive and was very efficient I recommend booking if you want a verrandah seat

My boyfriend and I went here for a date. The environment is lovely and it shares the ocean view with Ocean Basket and Coachman that's upstairs. The decor is beautiful and the service was nice. They have a lot of menu options from food and drinks. I believe they can cater for any one because there are burgers, pasta, pizza, seafood, grills, sushi, etc on the menu. It wasn't busy when we were there so we didn't wait long for our food and drinks. We had burgers which was very nice, and they weren't stingy on the toppings! Some couple close to us had pizzas and that look amazing. Trying their pizzas would definitely be my next choice when I visit again!

Amazing option for a nice dinner in Port Elizabeth. The food was great - both the Springbock and the Kudu. Dessert was also on point. You also have to try their bread with a garlic butter, courtesy of the house. Great service by Lwazi - very polite and attentive.

Good. Its 4. What was awesome was fresh rock oysters. And the real garlic snails as starter. What lacked was the bar. Old Fashion far away what it is. Starter. Prawns in cheese and crunb. Guys. Think about it. But mains amazing good. That would be a 7 star for the service. From the reception lady to our waiter Ben. Ben took feedback and gave recommendation. Rare to find. If the kitchen would hold up the standard of this amazing service over 4 hours I would give all. But still. Highly recommend for PE.

We are in port Elizabeth for just one night ready to start the garden route. Went for a walk to find somewhere for dinner, and stumbled on to De Kelder. Location is great and decor nice. Cannot speak highly enough of our lovely server Natasha. She was so kind and friendly and recommended dishes not on the main menu- the octopus starter is single handedly the best octopus we have ever had! The steak my husband had was delicious and my prawn dish was fantastic- Tash recommended to combine the 3 sauces into one and it was amazing! Wish we had more time in PE to come back- it’s well worth it!

Now this is a place you just HAVE to visit- friendly staff, beautiful location , expensive but for what you get , reasonable prices. My wife loves her chops, I love my T-bone- the food is always done to perfection and the little loaf of hot bread at the beginning just makes one linger for the next course! Highly recommended and for us, many many for do-overs!!

Absolutely excellent. The service is supreme. I was thoughorly impressed my my bone marrow steak. The carpaccio was amazing, the crocodile, springbok and warthog. The atmosphere is light and modern. In and outdoor seating is available. I would fully recommend this restaurant no matter what you feel in the mood to eat. Top notch. Love it and will regularly go back.

This is a nice mall. It has every shop you could need. It has plenty of restaurants and a food court. There is also a nice games area for kids with 10 Pin Bowling and Bumper Cars. The circular design of the mall is great. When browsing all the shops, you end up back where you started so don't need to trek all the way back.

A nice big mall. Love the arcade area and the go carting on the second floor. A nice mall but just out in the middle of nowhere really. Some really good safe parking though.

This mall is big and has stores to meet every need from clothing and pharmacies to odd and ends and entertainment. The bathrooms are clean and they have a good variety of eating places too! There is an indoor crafts market selling leather bags, smoked cheese, dried fruits and nuts, art etc. I’d definitely visit again 😁

Overall not a bad mall, but for YEARS now I get the feeling that the Air-conditioning in this mall is not fully functional. I can't spend more than an hour without starting to feel hot, like there's zero fresh air inside the building. Thought with the new owners taking over this would've been solved, but still a problem

Situated along N2 towards Cape Town if one is from Cape Town and all Towns along N2 is the first Mall when you enter Gqeberha the mall is big has all the shops . The place is clean and welcoming from outside and inside. Due to the fact that is a busy place it has paid parking lot. The place is is also a tourist attraction. I will always recommend tourist to visit the place when they are around Gqeberha they will not regret visiting the place .

Very spacious and clean shopping 🛒 mall with plenty of well-known stores housed under one roof. Safe for shopping and secure parking available. They only give 50MB free WiFi data (which is not enough as compared to other malls). But might be helpful to request electronic services.

I was hoping to see rhinos or giraffes on my own and therefore chose the self-drive option in the park. According to the description, the roads were supposed to be well-maintained and suitable for regular vehicles. However, this does not reflect the reality at all. The tracks are in such condition that driving without an SUV or 4x4 is problematic – especially due to the low ground clearance of standard cars. If it rains, some parts could even become dangerous. In my opinion, the phrase “well-maintained roads” is highly exaggerated and misleading, especially for rental car drivers. I immediately aborted the drive and exited the park again – I didn’t see any animals, but I didn’t mind. My car is more important to me. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I would only recommend the self-drive if you have a proper off-road vehicle. That said, I want to mention that the young man at the gate was very kind, friendly, and helpful.

Amazing game reserve on our doorstep! Informative and knowledgeable guides. Lovely forest walk. Childrens Play facilities and braai area. Plan your own drive if you like but highly recommend the tour.

Yhoo the pace is amazing, it's so quiet and peaceful. The kids they love it so much, the space for them to run around is plenty. I'll definitely come for a full day next time, not for business, but for relaxation

Came to the Kragga Kamma Game Park for a self drive viewing. I sure wish I was told to bring a car with a high suspension as the trails do get a bit tricky as you drive, but seeing the different animals and at your own pace is definitely something I recommend. Some of the animals actually come closer to the cars so you can stop and view or take pictures of them. Definitely a great experience and it's R150 a person which is quite affordable 😊

We had a great experience with our game drive. Our tour guide Terry told us so many interesting facts about the animals she even had the childrens attention all the time. This game drive was worth every cent.

Don't get me wrong, absolutely stunning place, don't know why but I was expecting more. Play area, top for kids, shop a bit pricey but overall a good experience. My motto happy kids = happy parents, in that regard 5 stars. Me personally just disappointed.

What a fun experience! From families to friends,a very nice outing. The animals are in a good state, everything is clean and looks well taken care of. Enterance is R35 per persoon, R15 for a bucket of food and there was a dinosaur exhibit for an additional R15. We loved everything. We had the chicken and mushroom quiche with salad and chips, which was 11/10! Would go back even jusy for the food!! +- 3 hours visit.

We so enjoyed our visit at Homeleigh Farm. The kids and adults enjoyed the tractor ride extremely!!! The animals are real cute, just the little Lama looks a bit sick. The food is affordable and the food court is so pretty. Very cozy. Love this place. Will recommend families to come here

Best place to visit when in or around Port Elizabeth. Friendly staff, great food and an even better atmosphere! Never has disappointed

Amazing experience with my family. The little animals were super cute and the horses were magnificent.

Great day out especially for children. Wonderful play area to keep the kids busy. The farm animals were cute especially the piglet that followed everyone and the donkeys. The place was well maintained and clean and tidy. The food was delicious and do try the apple tart it's the best I had in years. Friendly staff and lots of seating areas under shade for the hot weather.

A great place to bring the young kids for the day. Lots of things to do and animals to feed. Awesome play area with multiple old school jungle gyms, rides and trampolines. Lots of extra rides like the tractors and ponny available. Decent coffee shop with a good menu and good prices. Also available for kids party hire.

Such a lovely place! Our boy especially loved the donkeys & the pony ride. This is a great outing for kids & even adults who just love animals. The goats were so cute. They have a large variety of different animals and lots of space and the tea garden is so pretty. Loved it :)

Wimpy food is most of the time good, but unfortunately Baywest Mall Wimpy has let us down one too many times. We have walked in waited for over 10 minutes without any acknowledgement from staff at the counter, because they were too busy on their phone and we ended up walking out and eating somewhere else at Baywest. Please note that this happened to us more than once and that other customers has been given menus, greeted and seated in the time that we were ignored completely by staff working there. We have decided that we will never support Wimpy at Baywest again, because of this unfair treatment.

Upon arriving at Baywest Mall, we found no sign that dogs were not allowed. I now have photos to prove this. We took our Yourkshure Dog with us. We arrived at Wimpy, but nobody approached us to guide us to a seat. We then proceeded to the furthest outer corner and sat down. None of the waiters approached to indicate that the dog was not allowed. After completing our lunch, the manager approached to complain about the dog. As always with Wimpy, the food was excellent, but at this venue, the service was not. The service of JayBay Fountains Mall Wimpy is probably the best Wimpy in South Africa and so much more friendly and accommodating. Deon Louw

Still some of the best pies in town. This is a Nelson Mandela Bay institution, if you're looking for a decent meal, lunch or breakfast or dinner even, swing by Cassie's. Really good, jumbo pies and excellent variety, always fresh. Their pricing is very reasonable and they've been around forever for a very good reason! This particular store is conveniently located at Kamma Crossing, on the corner, easy to find when you drive into the parking area.

Had the beef ribs, very thinly cut, overcooked and the butcher that supply the ribs clearly had a blunt saw as tiny pieces of bone splinters in the meat.

Second pie from this shop, huge pastry very very little content. The curry steak had 3 pieces of meat, rest of filling is just a very thick sauce.Very tasty thick curry filler is all. Previous Pepper Steak was the same huge pastry thick filler sauce pie with pretty much no e of the names ingredient in it.

Brought Family Burgers and Chips via Uber eats from Cassies in Kamma Crossing and was disappointed. Not only was the chips old and not nice tasting, but the burger were not nice too. And left us with major gastro reflux and many toilet visits after (24hours after eating it and still running). Will never order from them again. Lorraine Gardens has never let us down

I normally enjoy your burgers and pies, but decided to try your new crispy chicken burger, it's got to be the worst chicken burger I've ever eaten. Bun was stale, chicken tasted processed, an all over dry experience. I wouldn't recommend it at all. Terrible. And wat happened to getting proper chips, instead of this processed rubbish. Thumbs down

A fast food outlet that delivered good value for money. I always have had good pies from them. There is a regular flow of customers through their shop, indicative of good tasty takeaways. I normally do not have a long wait, however they are quite happy if you go shopping and they will have your order ready for your return. Enjoy your meal.

Such a lovely venue! Great for kids and families. Addicted to their flapjack stack and it’s always our go to stop when on the way to Port Elizabeth. Service was abit slow, had a hard time getting the attention of the waitron at times. Wide variety and a cute farm stall selling fresh goods and flowers.

Always have a lovely time at Grass Roof! I visited for my first time in 10 years and they’ve really expanded the space, it’s awesome now. Food and drinks are wonderful, and I love their little farmstand store. Highly recommend!

Adore Grass Roof. I come here for a weekly 5k walk on the trail, to the restaurant for breakfasts and cake, to the shop to pick up fresh flowers (and slush puppies!), and to the kiddies side for birthday parties. This is such an awesome part of PE.

The grass roof is a truly lovely destination for those looking for a bite to eat, or something fun to do on the weekend. The venue is peaceful and pet friendly and houses a restaurant, coffee shop and farm stall, as well as a few hiking trails for those more adventurous. I would recommend to anyone in the area.

First time at Grass Roof, 85 of us. The food quality is very good. Burgers are really good and Pizza and nice and thin and crispy. Well worth a trip!!

The Beef Burger was devine amd very good value. The Yellow Juice (pineapple and apple) was very watery and not as expected. Overall very good.

So we started our hike by the board with the map. It was a beautiful sunny day. Firstly, we decided to keep to the left of the trail along the beach. Please be aware that the trail is not well marked. I really think that this trail can benefit from a few more markers along the way because over the rocks, the path disappears. Anyways, just keep going until you see the towering dunes of Sardinia Bay. It's a really gorgeous beach. 😍 (Not really recommended for swimming though.) We were walking slow and it took us just over an hour to walk just under 4Ks. I noticed that there were a lot of dogs on the trail with their owners especially in the beginning. Unfortunately, I saw some trash (plastic bottles, discarded fishing nets) along the way and on the beach which is really disheartening so please don't litter. 💔😢 Overall the beautiful views of the ocean and sounds of the waves makes this, a must do hike. Would definitely do this again.

Beautiful seaside views. Place for picnics and hike. Can get windy and no shady spots under trees but pretty.

The path is well marked and the circular route takes you to a wonderful sand dune before returning along the ocean. The weather / wind changes constantly as you move along the route. Definitely worth it 😊

Sacramento trail, restaurant and the whole area is such a jewel of a place

It's beautiful, but we got followed and harassed by a drug pusher who wouldn't leave us alone. Luckily, we managed to get back to the car and leave before it got worse. From other reviews, we were probably unfortunate, but it's still a reminder that even in seemingly safe places to always walk in groups, be alert and aware of your options if something happens.

Could be amazing with a bit more care. The grass was really overgrown, the pathways were broken, and the place was quite dirty. The lighthouse exterior could definitely use a fresh coat of paint, and the windows at the top were pretty grimy. That said, climbing the narrow steep stairs was actually kind of fun and gave the visit a little adventure

This is a historic landmark and is has been sorely neglected. It is such an important place in terms of tourism, and at one point around 2010 it was immaculate. It is being neglected by whoever is supposed to be taking care of it. Visit it anyway before it fades away completely. Something drastic needs to be done, the tourism department that is running it needs to do more here.

Well I’ve been here twice now, once on a date and another time my mom and I went there. Honestly I enjoyed every time. There is parking right there, and the view from up at the top of the lighthouse is pretty cool. The stairs leading up are quite narrow so be prepared. It’s clean but you can tell it’s old but still cool. You can go right up to the top and even out. I hav eno complaints.

Tourism guides/managers are very knowledgeable about the monument and the area. Sad that a few of the plaques have been removed. Would be nice if the vegetation around the Garden of Remembrance was a little more taken care of. View from the top of the lighthouse is good; a good workout for the legs as well. There is parking right next to the buildings and lighthouse, entrance to parking can be missed. Felt quite safe, though you always need to be mindful no matter where you are.

Definitely a must visit when in Gqeberha. The view from the top was good but the view from the tower was even better. There is ample parking at the place itself. The streets around the place did not seem very safe to me and this was also confirmed by the person working there at the time. The climb to the top is not easy and requires some effort but the view asses this effort.

Wow! What a beautiful sight and must see tourists attraction in Gqeberha. Just look out for the big flag post hoisting the flag of South Africa🇿🇦 visible from the N2 passing through Gqeberha. Such incredible potential but left to go to ruin. No Cafe, No Flag, Gardens are unkept. Tourist office is good. Lighthouse needs maintenance. Probably no 1 spot for tourists and the most neglected by the municipality.

There’s not a hell of a lot here, but it is an ancient fort with the original guns still in place and fairly well-maintained There’s no fee for entry and it has some gorgeous views With a bit of imagination, you could turn it into something quite special

The fort itself is pretty well maintained, however, there were a.lot of unsavory characters hovering around and the security warned us about walking around alone (mom and daughter).

A beautiful historic stone fort built in 1799. It located on a hill with a spectacular view of lower city in Port Elizabeth. It is located at the corner of Fort Street. Open Monday - and Friday 08:30am - 15:30pm. It is closed on Saturdays. It also features a small playground for children and scattered benches.

A true relic of the past. It is well worth a look at, if you have the time. You can also get amazing views of the Port Elizabeth harbour. There is however no information centre at Fort Frederick, so getting a good background information before arriving will help.

Historic site with amazing view of the city. It is very interesting to see the bunkers and little rooms built so many years ago. A must see especially for the local Port Elizabethans. Our city is beautiful Gate closes at 430

It's a brick fort with old cannons. There are no signs telling the history of the place. The view is upon the port and some industrial buildings. In both buildings inside the walls there were people looking like hobos who started yelling when we got nearby. Unpleasant experience.

Hello. I have been using that fuel station since its inception in the early 2000's and have dealt with many good guys/staff there but have had issues lately. The last issue was on Saterday night when I asked for 120rands petrol for an Uber I was in only to be charged 300zar... I wasnt given a slip however the notification from my bank then reflected the 300. I turned back and instead of being gjven respectful replies from your staff, I was quickly responded to with disdain and tild to relax as I would get cash as change.... All I wanted was an appology and explanation. I am not sure if the staff is running some scam or it trully was a mistake but its not the first time something like this has happened and ask that you look into this...

If there was a way of rating the carwash a 0 I would. I arrived at the car wash at 11:19 am, to get back at 13:30 to an unwashed car! The response I got from the supervisor there is that he had a pump burst, to my surprise not a single car from the ones I arrived with in the morning was still at the carwash. I paid R110 in full, no refund no nothing! I hope my money goes a long way for him, and that he is satisfied with himself wherever he goes!

Went there on 12/12/2023 between 18:00 and 19:00 to buy some food. Stood at the hot food counter and waited for service. 2 females were chatting away and ignored me completely. Maybe I was suppose the beg them for service, I don't know. I eventually turned around and went to Nando's down the road where I was served with a smile.

I had my car washed the other day and I was extremely happy with the service. My car smelled like strawberries afterwards, they took the time to really clean everywhere. I love the variety at the shop as well, one of my favorite places to stop on the way to work.

Rich experience with knowledgable curator sharing their experience and their was passion was evident in the talks during the 90 minute session. Worth the trip. Although the road into the museum is deserted. No payment required, however donation requested.

Very very interesting. It is a shame that the government doesn't help them with any funding. The place is a bit dilapidated but seeing that it's all run by volunteers it still in good condition. No entry fee just donations.

An aviation well worth a visit. The displays are well presented showing the history of aviation and the SAAF in particular wrt this part of South Africa.

An absolute must visit when in Port Elizabeth. The exhibits were very interesting, but the friendly, informative curators made the visit special.

What a hidden gem! Above little museum with super helpful staff that take so much of pride in this museum. Plan to spend at least 3-4 hours exploring all the amazing aircraft and memorabilia. They also have a flight simulator but check when they have someone available to run it before going. Well worth a visit.

The museum made my day and was a great way to finish off my holiday with one last outing. Everything was mind-blowing - the size of the planes, how complex they are, and all the interesting facts that were displayed next to the planes and parts. I really enjoyed it and found it extremely fascinating. I highly recommend this place. I just wish they would use a real plane hangar to provide more space. Additionally, it would be great if they had something like an R50 to climb into the planes. This would not only help with donations but also boost donations to the place. It's free to enter; they just ask for a small donation to keep the place running.

Visited on a Friday morning. Atmosphere was fine. Food was okay, could have been warmer. Service was good, Cindy was our waitress, she was lovely and patient in taking our orders (7 people) she also happily moved us indoors after we felt a bit chilly outside-and quickly cleared a spot for the wheelchair. She was friendly yet not overbearing. Overall we had a lovely time.

What a mixed experience. Such a great spot but the deck area on the Northern end was dirty and smelt like sewage, so we moved inside and that was lovely. The coffee was excellent, the best so far in South Africa! The food was quite nice. The service was ok although unfriendly ... but then... the staff had a massive shouting fight that went on for ages! It was quite scary. I've never experienced anything like it before. Of course, having just been subjected to that, we didn't give a tip so then got a worse attitude from the waitress. (By the way, hotel staff told us we don't have to tip). Giving a bad attitude to tourists who don't tip just means they won't come back. Surely having no job to go to when the business then fails is worse than no tip?!

Great beach front location, however the food here was rather disappointing - ribs were covered in sauce but not that tasty and our portion of fries was significantly smaller than what we saw throughout the restaurant. Our waiter was not very attentive either, oftentimes we needed to get someone else to call him to attend to us.

It is a very great place, good food just the waitress wasn't the friendliest, waited for some time to get the food. We were outdoors and it was dark they didn't even bother switching on the lights 😭

Happy to give 5 stars across the board! After a disappointing experience the night before (elsewhere), we found this gem! From the moment we got there, our needs were anticipated and we were treated like VIPs. The menu is amazing, and our craving for good fish was definitely quenched! Lovely for date night or just a treat!

I’d definitely give this place a miss. When I arrived, I was greeted by an extremely rude security guard at the boom gate, but I decided to carry on, looking forward to trying a new restaurant. When I asked for a table for two, I was told, “Sorry, we’re fully booked.” As you can see from my photo, the place was completely empty.

I really wish I had a chance to eat here again, but that one time was memorable. The food was just top notch and the classic aesthetic inside was a lovely mood setter. In short, great place for couples although I was there with a group. I had the risotto starter followed by the grilled salmon. Top notch to the extent of asking to thank the chef in person. Such a vibe 🍋 the area is full of quaint restaurants and a brewery (Richmond Hill Brewing). Definitely worth exploring the area a little with all the cafes, breweries and restaurants. I had the lemon chilli chicken at Remo’s Italian and I didn’t think something that sounds so plain and simple could be so damn yummy. It was stupidly delicious and had so much flavour 🍋🌶️

Probably the best restaurant in PE. Very authentic Italian food. Flavor, al dente, presentation. The ambience of the place is also great. Try the tagliatelle bolognese; you won’t be disappointed.

Was looking forward to some delicious Italian food but unfortunately I was disappointed The food around the table was rather hit or miss. My order of Renzo’s pasta tasted like a box of mince mate and my mom wasn’t happy with her pasta. My sister had some gnocchi which was delicious and my husband lasagna which was also delicious. Atmosphere is okay, very hot in there.

We found the Wimpy was a good place to sit while waiting for our flight to JHB because it’s spacious and clean and you have a nice view of the runway. Their coffee is ok and the cups are big but their service is rather slow.

This is not a quiet place to come and wait for your next flight out. The service is extremely slow and laid-back. I waited long to place an order and even longer after for the bill. I was seated close to the kitchen and actually moved to another table as the unnecessary yelling of the kitchen staff become quite unbearable. Eventually we finished up quickly and went to the pub next door for the remainder of our wait. So when you decide to wait here and have a meal try and seat as far away from the kitchen as you can or bring allot of patience and some earplugs along. For me it's a definite not in the future not even a maybe.

Pathetic service! Waiter had no manners.... Wrong order ! No avo. No cawl slaw... No nothing. Ordered a Strawberry smoothy and got mixed fruit juice. Shame this place needs help or better management

Retro Wimpy It feels like I've traveled back in time. The staff are super friendly, going thr extra mile. Trolleys aren't allowed in the restaurant, but they helped me lug all my pieces of luggage in and out. Alicia went as far as keeping my corner table for me when I did go check the my luggage in.

Everytime we get seated, but no service after that!!! Disappointed in the fact that it's at an airport where the service should be excellent!!! Go to PRIME downstairs instead ppl. We were seated and had drinks within the first 5 mins being there.

Nice mall, close to the beach, one of the university's campus', and other important places. But mostly super packed. Perhaps you'll enjoy it more as a tourist, more than someone who has access to it and just wants to shop for groceries.

Its held it's age well. But..... brown hot water, wall plugs for charging not working, gowns on request only and out of stock, bed slippers on request only, blocked sink drain..... its these little issues that ruin a 4 star experience. Think i deserve a discount.

Much improved. Without any hesitation. The only loss was 34 Degrees South. But all the new shops and easy parking has made a huge difference to shopping experience in Summerstrand. Many of the top names have brought in their latest designs making shopping a pleasure.

Likes: Architectural Design, Shop Variety, Cleanliness, Visible and Friendly Security Personnel and Car Guards, Mall Maps Dislikes/Wishes: Absence of E-hailing pickup parking bays, pedestrian crossing at the busiest entrance 3 at a weird place, lack of or invisible bike rack, limited seating spaces, boom gate system challenges. Well, the design of the mall matches the surrounding infrastructure (Boardwalk Hotel and BellaMare), its classy. The shape of the mall, and the stores positioning are on point. You don't really have to walk from end to end to find an alternative shop. There is a good variety of shops, from eateries, clothing, gadgets, and grocery shops. Its a good balance and they cater for a wide spectrum in terms of pricing. With its location, having a Checkers is a blessing to most shoppers. The services of the shops are mostly above average and excellent. The artwork by the bathrooms is dope. It leads one to everclean bathrooms. The corridors are always spic and span too. The general upkeep and cleanliness of the mall deserves an applaud. The security personnel are visible and friendly. The same for the car guards. I loved the maps that are clear and easy to identify where the shops are. I wasn't impressed with the absence of a pedestrian crossing and or E-hailing Pickup Parking Bays. The management definitely need to consider either. It gets so busy and risky for the customers. The positioning of the pedestrian crossing closest to Entrance 3 for instance, is weird. I find it invisible and at a weird location. Well, looks like one can't cycle to the mall, or perhaps I couldn't see a bike rack. But a bike rack should be considered for cyclist. Then there is not enough seating spaces. Yeah, mothers might need to stop and breastfeed or one might need to wait for someone or something seated. The seating spaces near the entrances are limited. But this is expected since the mall is small and primary purposes is sales. Every square metre must be maximised. Then as we leave the mall, can the boom gates be working all the time. The "no touch" system idea is modern and relevant, but only if it works all the time. Well, I think it deserves a 4.2 but I will just round up to 5. Great Mall.

The mall is Beautiful, Modern, Sufficient Shops, clean 🧼, Lots of parking spaces. The shops are closing bit early on Sunday. (Please consider have longer hours especially on Saturday and Sunday for majority of your stores) Peoples are packed until late. No, Dedicated E-Hauling and Taxi 🚕 drop off and pick up points on each Entrance. This will make easy for your clients and passengers who used those services.

This place has been massively improved. This is a PE icon, and much loved for decades, the owners have made this place world-class. The food is great and well-priced. They have great coffee, loads of chips and snacks, burgers, boerie rolls, toasted sandwiches and loads more. The slides and every part of the grounds and facilities have been improved. It's clean, it's well run, it's fun, it's better than it's ever been. Do yourself a massive favour and visit this place. 😁 They cater for braai's and parties, and there are shaded benches and very comfortable spots to relax. Absolutely brilliant time!!

So much fun for the kids. A high slide and super tube for the braver older kids and a mini super tube, slides and splash pools available for the little ones and those more cautious by nature. Plenty of lifeguard supervision. Very clean and well maintained. A great day out for the kids and very reasonably priced. Not a very big waterpark but certainly worth the while for those seeking something to do close to the beach.

Loved it. Staff are friendly. Benches and shady areas provided, also great that one can take in your own food and drink, except for glass and alcohol products (which is also a plus IMHO 😊)

Nice, small water park. 1 big waterslide that is great, 1 steep slide, 1 lazy river slide and 4 or 5 smaller kid's slides. We had a lot of fun.

Beautiful clean beach. A must visit whenever you're here. Eating joints close by with good food and options. Water is clean and swimable. There are no options for a fresh water beach bath. Life guards are present. Good for a family outing.

Nice place to visit for a day of calm and peace. The beach has friendly lifeguards and security team. There's even a chance to catch a glimpse of marine life😃

It's one of the best beaches I have ever visited, it is a best place to visit during your holidays because it is so refreshing, the view is of the top notch, the space which you can play however you want, when you are tired of playing there are restaurants nearby which you can visit and some places which you can play games, you wouldn't regret visiting it

Mervin runs a well organized kitchen. Everything is where it should be. The kitchen is extremely clean and higiene is a priority to all the staff.

I am super disappointed at the service I got today while I was on the main road outside the golf club, my car was hit by a ball and my windscreen is cracked and guess what they told me they can't help me because it didn't happen inside their premises while the ball came from their premises💔

Great food and friendly service at this little Indian Takeaway at the Boardwalk Hotel complex. I had a divine Paneer in Red Sauce. Good vegetarian and vegan options.

Walked pass countless times yet somehow I found myself at the counter,and what a pleasant surprise. The friendliest and informative owner,not too bad of a wait for the amazing food that arrived. Flavorful,lovely presentation and very hearty. I will definitely be back and spread the word of this authentic Indian food being served with passion and class. A must!!

Hungry Peter really makes you hungry. Food is authentic Indian. Best Indian food available in Port Elizabeth. Indian delicacies are finger licking delicious.Service is quick and friendly. All the staff are friendly and courteous. Enjoyed the food a lot....I recommend for those who really want to eat good Indian dishes as back in India.

If you love traditional Durban curry , this is the place to go. The mutton bunny is the real deal ! A deluge of curry gravy to soak in your bread in, combined with a lot of flavoursome curried meat. You will not be disappointed. This rates one of the best curries I’ve had. Will definitely be back.

As usual, I always visit this little place of paradise called Hungry Peter. Each time I visit this place, my expections increase of the quality of food and the service and to my amazement, each time I visit, my expectations of the food, service and chatter is surpassed. Well done to the management and staff of Hungry Peter. You have been added to my list of permanent places I visit each time I am in Port Elizabeth. See you next time... The decor was very good, although they could work on having better lighting. Tried to order the beer battered fish but they said all their fish was frozen at the time. Settled for the 5 spice chicken burger which was a little bland considering the name. My friends who had the company burger and pulled pork sandwich really enjoyed their meals though. Went back a few weeks ago for a friend's birthday and we were far from impressed with the service. They failed to explain their new scan menu so we waited the longest time until a waiter finally came to help. It was downhill from there, with us having to wait over 20 minutes for our drinks and to finally give our food orders. The wait for the food was another 30 minutes and when it finally arrived the waitress got one pf our food orders wrong and tried to convince us to accept it regardless. After some back and form she finally agreed to go change it but the wait for that was a considerable amount of time. The food was somewhat of an improvement from the last time so of you don't mind painfully slow service I would recommend the butter chicken and pulled pork sandwich

The customer service was mediocre but waiters memorizes orders. Food wise i was very underwhelmed , it was dry and was nothing as compared to what you see on pictures , cocktails were full of ice and was tasteless. A change of menu & chefs must be done before it's too late. it's a nice place to take pictures in by the way

Thoroughly enjoyed! We had the Co burgers and they really were one of the best burgers we had each had in a long time. Service started off well and then faded to literal non-existence. Apart from that, the food, the view, the aesthetics of the restaurant, all combined to make it an enjoyable visit.

Love the look, the food, the coffee and the vibe, however service could be looked into a bit... Had to wait longer than 10 minutes on each occasion for just our coffee to arrive... Other than that, yes!!! Go there!!

Came here alone for lunch on a business trip. Beautiful decor and great atmosphere here. Lacking leadership, when I came in it took time to get someone to seat me. Food price is adequate and it is well flavoured. The menu does not link up with what you getting in terms of quantities regarding drinks. Lots of potential but lacking in delivery.

Visited next door to Charlie's at Village Local. Food was good and tasty except for Pork riblets which were pinkish. Village Local full of young people while Charlie's next door was more sedate and seated with good food. Can recommend both places.

Had breakfast here, excellent food, presentation and service. Also very affordable and great value.

Their pizzas are amazing, there were so many appealing options on the menu, it was not an easy choice to make. It is a must to go back and try more. The cocktails were also really good, and if you are unsure of which option to go with, ask a waiter, they also give good recommendations and advice according to what you like. The service was really good with welcoming staff members. The atmosphere was also great, but it can feel slightly crammed when they are full. I noticed a lot of tables were reserved so I would advice to make a booking in order to get the best seating, but if you are not too fussy, you will still find a table available. I highly recommend going here❤️💯

Overall good spot. The food is good, the service is also good... Lovely sea view.. It's often quite active, especially on the weekends and holidays. If that's your vibe, then this is your spot.

A great place for lunch, dinner or cake by the sea 🌊 Lots of great options, the mushroom linguini with Italian bacon and the trio of mushroom lasagna are my personal favourites. Been here many times and the service and quality of food is consistently good. Nice cocktails and a great cake and coffee/tea special 🍰🍵

All in all, I enjoyed my stay and would absolutely consider the hotel for my next trip. Loved the location, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was great with a nice view, however the shower almost flooded the bathroom and restaurant food could be better.

Aspects that influenced my stay: * Access card was faulty * Access to gym was unclear - struggled with access * Parking stands * Staff not asking about Reward membedship * Further away from central Overall nothing negative, just the little things that makes a stay worthed

We attended the breakfast buffet this morning. The service was excellent. The selection of food exceptional, something for everyone. Lots of little extra touches. The manager popped by to greet us and after learning we were celebrating a birthday, he arranged a birthday treat. Special shout out to Karen, she arranged a fruit platter and drinks for us to enjoy on the pool deck after we enjoyed our breakfast. Rare hospitality these days. Thank you Radisson Blu PE. Can't wait to be back!

It's a four-star hotel that has allowed itself to slip. There's nothing wrong with the rooms but they're not fancy. The staff at the reception could not be more professional. The major drawback is there is some petty crime with items missing from the rooms, and the restaurant food is atrocious. I tried the soup, the steaks, the pizza and the pasta. I would not go back to eat that food. Within walking distance there are quality restaurants that are cheaper, too.

Stayed at Radisson Blu Elizabethtown Save Your Money and Don't Go. We were only staying one night and it was too long. Lobby chairs were ripped. We asked to use the restroom and they sent us to a restroom that was under repairs. We left to go on a tour while we waited for our room. Returned and everything seemed well. However, lucky I was up late watching a movie. All of a sudden I heard rushing water. Water was pouring down from the ceiling outside the bathroom. They changed our room (we had to walk under water to get out). The next room, the key card would not work to turn on lights (I was able to manually turn on the bathroom lights and common area lights). The bathroom sink in the new room shot out every which way. The shower drain was sunken in. They woke us up to fix the AC (wrong room). If you do to the complimentary breakfast bypass the egg station. The two staff working the station were very slow. I sat has my lukewarm tea, watched my sister eat her potatoes, fruit and coffee. I was ready to leave when the staff called me up to ask "what would you like?" (Um, I have the order already). I told her to forget it. Went back to the room and ordered breakfast via Uber. My sister wasted her points on this stay but lucky it was only for one night.

Bathroom ceiling was mouldy, there was hair in the basin and the shower was flooding the entire bathroom floor. Staff was pleasant to deal with BUT.. specifically inquired if the restaurant was 'halaal/halaal friendly" as this would influence my stay. The hotel staff said yes but when we spoke to the restaurant they confirmed they were not. Thats after we already booked inclusive of breakfast. All you could have was hard fruits , porridge, muffins and coffee because all the hot food was not halaal friendly. Wouldnt recommend and expected better.

Very disappointed about my recent stay at the Radisson Port Elizabeth. They put me in a room with an aircon unit dating from Noah ark.You cannot control the aircon and it was not working.I went down an asked them if they can maybe move me to another room. The guy at the reception told me all the aircon units in all the rooms are the same. The maintenance guy came to my room and needed to open up ceiling to go into roof to fix aircon. He then told me there are rooms with the new aircon units and that guy at reception was lying. I was upset for this guy lying to me in my face. To think I am a premium member. The next day I asked for an iron since I had to be at an event. I called them more then an hour in advance. Nothing. Called again. Nothing.Called again. Nothing..just we are following up. I then went down and was told that they will bring iron now. Still waiting. To crown it all only one lift was working which causes you to wait very long. I am deeply disappointed by the level of service at this hotel.
