Good place for breakfast especially if you want a place for kids to play. Large outdoor area with a trampoline and jumping castle. The eggs benedict is good and have a variety of hit drinks and many milkshakes. There is a large parking lot.

Something good is an old style roadhouse which is a rarity in modern times. It is on the beach front and has indoor seating with a good view of the sea and a “pedal go-cart” track to keep the kids busy. We arrived a little late for breakfast so not all menu items were available but the breakfast burger was, which I ordered, and it was delicious.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place! Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the staff went above and beyond to make sure both I and my dogs felt welcome. It’s not always easy to find a restaurant that is truly dog-friendly, but they were so kind, attentive, and accommodating. My pups were treated like special guests and loved every minute of it. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and you can tell the people here genuinely care about their customers (both human and furry!). I left feeling happy, full, and so grateful for the experience. We’ll definitely be back soon! 🐾❤️

Great views from outdoor section. Seafood platter was very good except for the raw prawns that were sent back. Totally tasteless, overcooked and oily on their return. Service was really poor, yes the establishment was busy. They showed us to the bar to wait for a table and then forgot us. After 30 minutes at bar I interrupted a barman just to get us drinks. They announced our names outside when a table came free!!!! We had to again go up to someone to get a table. "Sorry, I forgot you were at the bar but I did call your name outside" was the excuse. Outside again we had to call for a waiter to serve us after some 15 minutes.

our watron Laura was amazing! Her service was friendly and quick!i asked for my coffee WITH the meal... And that is exactly what i got! Trust me, many restuarants dont get that right... Normally get it when food is finished Thank you Laura, and thanks for the quick turn around time on the extra slice of toast!!!!

Amazing food. The Bar inside is neat and the atmosphere great. If it's too windy inside is a good spot to spend a great meal and there is a lot of play space for kids. Food options are available and they also have this amazing ice-cream store just outside. Close to the beach so you can just hop straight to the ocean before or after your meal

Tucked away right next to the PE dock Harbour you will find the shop tucked away from the activities of Summerstrand. Seems a firm favourite as was very busy with all the locals visiting this place. Queues move fast with a speaker system calling out which orders are ready for collection. Excellent decor in the front paying area creating this unique charm, giving a sense of what the owner likes. Some memorabilia and other signed items adorn the walls. Seating area was nice and spacious. We were next to a giant ancient tree which I am very grateful they made part of the decor which adds ti the nostalgic charm of the place. When the food arrived I was eager to tuck straight in as heard very good things about this place. Unfortunately the fried hake was very ok. I've had much better fish along our coastal holidays. Prawns and calamari were also very average. Chips for me was the highlight. Had that old skool charm doused in vinegar! Thus my search for awesome fish & chips in PE continues....

The service was great but the food was disappointing. I got a calamari roti and it had no lettuce or any accompanying veggies inside. Just calamari with sauce in a roti. That was wild and disappointing. The garlic butter for the pawns was just butter with crushed garlic put on the top. The fish was fresh but unseasoned with no flavor. I was a disappointed especially since I heard a lot of great things about this place. The biggest disappointment was the wrap 😭 I ended up having to modify it at home as I didn't decide to eat the establishment. Great atmosphere though and service.

It was my first ever visit and it was wow! I can't wait to return to Gqebertha to eat there again. Fresh and tasty.

The food was good. Had to wait a while to get it but nothing too extreme. I love how you can sit outside. There is also a one hundred year old tree there and I think that that is pretty cool. You can tell it’s really old. I do like the atmosphere, the place isn’t too loud so I’m happy. I have got no complaints really. The food is of decent proportions and tastes good. Got calamari and hake. Came here twice as well. Both times with my girlfriend.

This place is just next to the PE harbour as honestly i would never have thought of even looking there as a visitor for the holidays. But wow someone mentioned this place and what a amazing place great vibe as it gives you that feeling of sitting on a boat while eating the fresh ocean air that blows through also just amazing. The food wow i love my sea food and this place just made my week before heading back to Gauteng. Food was amazing really i will def be back and will be my first stop again. We flew in from Johannesburg with my mum for her birthday. After putting our bags down at the hotel, we visited Savages Fine Food for breakfast. The property is absolutely beautiful, we were met with a Koi pond that added colour to the rainy weather. The staff were friendly and service was quick, we stayed well over our expected time because of the lovely ambiance of the restaurant.

We had breakfast on a cool day, so we sat inside, it feels like a mix of modern and old school with a good dash of sophistication. Loved the adaptable atmosphere. Our breakfast was very tasty and the service was good, with a positive, cheerful waiter. Definitely a place to visit again.

PE always has a surprise for you. How we did not know about Savages Fine Food is beyond me. Two old houses built in 1896 and ultimately converted into a restaurant. The gardens are superbly kept and there is a real colonial atmosphere. My breakfast was delicious and I can say that their breakfast waffle is now my favourite breakfast. I cannot wait to try the lunch menu. The musician in the garden during breakfast was the cherry on top. See you soon Savages Fine Food.

The most beautiful scenery ever, tranquility at its best, its quite a gorgeous place, I took loads of pics. Enjoyed every minute of it. Food was superb, service excellent, atmosphere perfect and their food is very reasonable. A must visit and you won't be disappointed

Savages Fine Food will see me again. I had a long day at St George's hospital and came here for breakfast. I enjoyed every bite of my Scrambled eggs on toast with a good cappuccino. Staff was friendly and well trained. I love the setup with the kitchen and the restaurant in genaral has a wonderful atmosphere. The bathrooms are well kept and super modern. People from every stage in life will feel welcome in this setting.

Easily one of the best fine dining spots in PE. Customer service is top notch-I love how the chef (Allen) delivers your food in-person, and ensures that he makes contact with every customer in the restaurant, in someway, in your dining experience. The menu is concise, but still covers grounds, in terms of options - such that you don't feel overwhelmed by the multitude of options to have to narrow down from. Yet, the dishes are sophisticatedly put together, from the flavour profiles, to the presentations. I also, loved that the chef was able to accomodate my dietary requirements, while still keeping my dish exciting. The staff are professional and the food is decently priced for such a fine dining experience. I highly recommend this spot, but note you need to make reservations in good time, to secure a table(it's a small cosy spot-I guess intentionally so, that gives you a feeling of having an exclusive experience). Totally worth every penny.

Excellent restaurant in PE. The presentation matches the taste of the food and the service. Extensive wine list as well. We had the Fish Cakes, Mussel Tortelloni, and Bone Marrow as starters and then Beef Short Rib Pasta and Pulled Pork Taco as main.

I've been looking for a proper steakhouse and finally think I found it. They have a range of various cuts on offer, and when you ask for it to be cooked to your preference, that is what is served. Tender, tasty steaks. They do have other "non" steaks on the menu eg. Chicken schnitzel etc. Starters were good. Not an extensive wine offering, but it was sufficient. Great to round the evening off with a Dom Pedro! I think it is wise to make a reservation. I will be back. Our waitron was not very attentive. Perhaps he had just started. Restrooms were great.

Took the family there for a steak the other night, seriously one of the best meals I've ever had. My brother and I had the wagyu sirloin, what an incredible steak for the price! Don't think you'll find quality like that for those prices anywhere else. Wonderful atmosphere, super friendly staff and the owner was really nice to chat to, incredibly knowledgeable. Excellent variety in steaks with some lovely non-steak options too! Will definitely be back for more.

Great service. Great place. I personally didn't have a good experience with the choice of meal. Due to sour cream. They were professional to handle it with a new one and offer a desert of correction. Yet my time was short and will definitely be back to correct my experience. They are fairly priced and it's a special place.

Some of the items on the menu can be a little bit on the expensive side. Cocktails are available. Can easily learn how to hold how to hold chopsticks. Music in the restaurant is a little on the loud side however you can still hear the person sitting across from you. Decor is fantastic. Sushi buffet available. Buy one get one free option available. Clean restrooms. Kiddies play area available. Worth a visit.

Toro's is our Number 1 restaurant in PE. The cozy atmosphere, friendly service and incredible food always has us coming back. Solid quality sushi, well presented even in the take-away container. Portions were good, take advantage of the two for one special before 17h00. Perhaps a bit more ginger would be welcomed. Definitely better sushi than competition in PE, will visit again for sit-down next time, atmosphere seems lively and service professional, thank you.

We found Salt when we were driving through PE and were very pleased. My daughter and I had the two different curries, red (hot) for me and the Vietnamese for her. We were both very happy and felt like our respective dishes were the best at the table :) Extremely courteous and friendly service.

Absolutely amazing. The variety of cocktails and other items on the menu is really incredible. I had the Nutella Chocolate Jar, Italian Martini and the Purple Rain. The cocktails were the best I have ever tasted and our burgers were delicious as well. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was good. I must say, I am really impressed!

My girls and I went out for a girls night and everything was great but the service was soooo bad. We experienced a bit of attitude from the waitress. My friend wanted to ask about the menu and she interrupted mid sentence and replied “I don’t have time for this right now and we should look at the menu!” We were so shocked at her reply. Other than that she didn’t take the order properly and she kept on bringing the wrong order.

Lovely place to chill. Drinks are absolutely reasonable and also very tasty. I would recommend the fish bowls and jars. Good for big groups. Very friendly staff and bartenders. The food here is also great. I would recommend the Chicken Strips and chips as a snack when having some drinks. I thoroughly enjoyed myself at Salt. It was amazing. I like that fact that they cater for a crowd so they have this party shooters which wouldn't make a dent in your wallet/purse.

I called in and pre-order the food for 6:15pm. We arrived around 6:20. The food didn't come till 6:40pm. She gave us the menu for the drink and didn't come to check if we wanted any drinks. On the menu on the internet, it says the old price and I had, and I went over my budget because their prices were not updated. Overall not good experience. Will never go back.

This is a wonderful Japanese gem hidden away. Excellent food, prices, selection and staff. I love their ramen and pork on a skewer. You can enjoy some South African beverages as well as proper Japanese authentic beverages.

For our starters we tried the bang bang prawn spring rolls which were delicious, the mains we went with Ramen and it was absolutely top notch! Will definitely be back to try more from the menu!

Japanese cuisine. Some really amazing dishes. We shared starters as tapas, so could taste the various dishes. I will definitely return. Prices weren't bad either. They had a seared tuna steak for R149. As a main meal. Unfortunately I never tried it. But definitely will the next time. If it's on the menu!! Look inside on the blackboard what's on the menu for the day. Presume a lot of it depends what is available. Tried eel for the first time and was pleasantly surprised!!!!

Visited this place in April and it is genuinely one of the nicest places I have ever been to. Delicious, fresh food with amazing flavours. Also tried their ramen. 10 out of 10 for everything! The calamari steak is my favourite.

Ate here with the family during our holiday in PE. The service was great and they were very accommodating. We had sushi (Salmon was melting in my mouth, couldn't get enough of it!!!), ramen and the chicken katsu Don. The food was affordable, big servings and super yummy! Will definitely come back again to try the other dishes.

A wonderfully lit restaurant at night time which makes the atmosphere a beautiful and vibrant one. Lots of friendly staff greeting you and offering assistance, although it was slow the night we were there, it was understandable because they had a full house because of the cricket finals. Food and drinks are on the more expensive side, and their "Flats" which is supposed to be something like pizza, is far too thin and unfortunately disappointing. Otherwise the food was still good, and service was not too unreasonable.

This was my first time at this restaurant and it was a super vibey place with a really nice atmosphere but the food was a let down. I ordered a few different tapas dishes like the salt and pepper calamari, ciabatta with cherry tomatoes and cream cheese and my daughter had the chicken strips and chips. The calamari was not what I expected when you think of salt and pepper calamari tapas. The basting wasn’t crispy on the calamari and the rings were pretty big and just bland also the sauce was just mayo, like the crosse and blackwell brand mayo. Really not pleasant to dip calamari into. The ciabatta and tomato tapas were really dead average. Bland and just all round not what I was expecting again and then the kiddies chicken meal was dry. The chips looked and tasted like they were made and then just fried again and again- the same mayo served with the calamari was on this dish. The Bloody Mary cocktail had way too much pepper and just not as a blood Mary should be. I ordered a chocolate milkshake with my daughter who is 2 and it came as a huge adult milkshake which was surprising. I had 3 different waiters which is always frustrating because when I tip, I tip well so I prefer having one. I recommend this place for drinks, perhaps other cocktails are better but I will not order food there again.

What an absolute treat! Service was fast and friendly. Our waitress was an absolute delight. It was like interacting with an old friend. The food came quick. We got the pork belly burger. They are not skimpy with portion sizes! The pork was flavourful, the buns french, the sweet potato and poto fries were crsipy. And the small coleslaw salad was tasty. All in all a great experience.

Kasi (township) experience brought to the dockside. This is the first thing that comes to mind when I think Black Impala. Placed at the back pocket of the city, this place is such a treat for anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, but still looking for a good time. During the day it's a restaurant with chilled vibes. Come late afternoon, and you can feel the atmosphere changing, beckoning the dance club that it becomes at night. During this time, the place gradually starts filling up. It gets so packed that it's not unusual to see people queued outside, waiting for tables to free up. You get in, and understand why! The vibe is out of this world!! The service is amazing, the food offering varied. I'd recommend for anyone looking for that township culture vibe without going to the township.

The restaurant is situated in a beautiful scenery with calming water views. The restaurant is beautiful, neat and the prices are quite reasonable. The food is lovely and beautifully presented. However the service is rather slow, it times time for the food to come after the order is placed. I would understand that they braai the meat but the drinks don't have to take that long as well. The waitress who attended us was not very clued up on the menu items and she was not open to advice given by the customer to go ask the kitchen. I went there for the twice but what I got the first time could not get the second time. The waitress was not willing to go ask what can I get if I don't want Chakalaka she said there is no alternative of which the first time I got green salad. After she said there is no alternative she came back with potato salad. To me it spelled not knowing much about the menu bcz there will always be exceptions to the menu as not every tolerate everything in the menu. When we wanted to leave we waited forever for the bill...our waiter was nowhere to be found. I went to the bathroom and waited for 15 minutes inside as they were engaged, only to find out the waitresses sleep inside the cubicles to take a rest. The waitress we waited 30 minutes for was also resting inside the cubicle. The place is good for outings, just make sure you have time when you go there.

A colleague suggested I stop here for a coffee. I had a lovely Chai Latte and the most amazing duo carrot cheesecake. Wish I could take some home on the plain back to Gauteng. Excellence service for Laikin.

The Coachmen was a lovely experience. There were lots of friendly staff members who were always ready to help. The food was quality and did not disappoint. Atmosphere is warm, it felt very elite, so dress smart casual or fancy. This is definitely not a budget friendly restaurant, but it is definitely an experience you should try at least once for a special occasion. I was there for a birthday, and it was very special, and had the right atmosphere for the occasion.

Good place for dinner near the ocean. Service was excellent. Food was very good except ALL the sauces seemed very sweet and the green vegetables were mixed with a starch like ingredient I couldn't decipher. I wanted non starchy vegetables so this side dish was not ideal.

Great location with sea view. The service was very good. The quality of the food is very good and the taste is amazing, we tried mainly different cuts with some side dishes. The drink should be good as well since they have a big bar and a barman. For the price I would say is fair what you pay for what you get, great service, location, food and drinks

The experience was OK. I have honestly enjoyed quite a few restaurants in PE more than this. I was very much looking forward to a top tier experience here, and didn't get that. It was simply ok. Everything was overpriced too, although the quality was pretty good (just not exceptional). The service was slightly below average and we waited ages for everything, with basics not being looked after. Meals arrived around 8 minutes apart on a table of 4. The seating outside is not particularly comfortable and the tables feel cramped and a little awkward. I wish I could say differently, but this has become very average, which is sad because it was once legendary.

Visited next door to Charlie's at Village Local. Food was good and tasty except for Pork riblets which were pinkish. Village Local full of young people while Charlie's next door was more sedate and seated with good food. Can recommend both places.

Their pizzas are amazing, there were so many appealing options on the menu, it was not an easy choice to make. It is a must to go back and try more. The cocktails were also really good, and if you are unsure of which option to go with, ask a waiter, they also give good recommendations and advice according to what you like. The service was really good with welcoming staff members. The atmosphere was also great, but it can feel slightly crammed when they are full. I noticed a lot of tables were reserved so I would advice to make a booking in order to get the best seating, but if you are not too fussy, you will still find a table available. I highly recommend going here❤️💯

Overall good spot. The food is good, the service is also good... Lovely sea view.. It's often quite active, especially on the weekends and holidays. If that's your vibe, then this is your spot.

A great place for lunch, dinner or cake by the sea 🌊 Lots of great options, the mushroom linguini with Italian bacon and the trio of mushroom lasagna are my personal favourites. Been here many times and the service and quality of food is consistently good. Nice cocktails and a great cake and coffee/tea special 🍰🍵

Decor : 5/5 - I recommend sitting outside on a nice day where you can people watch to your hearts desire. Lovely wall of plants (albeit fake) in the inside Food: 4/5 - we ordered a variety of starters etc so we could try the menu. Would have loved some sushi as well but because of supply issues they were out. They do not play around with their spice levels, when they say something is hot it’s you will feel it the next day hot. I personally love hot food but for the shy beware! Drinks: 4/5 - I really wanted an aperol spirits which was advertised on the menu but unfortunately the bar was not stocked appropriately. That being said my whiskey sour was delicious Service 3/5- the service was a bit slow and the waiter could have been a bit more up to clue on what was available and what not

The pot stickers are amazing- go for Spicy chicken. The lamb flank noodles are delicious. The Thai chicken with rice was average. Just go visit for the dim sum don’t bother with anything else. One criticism is that the waiters tell you that the place is fully booked but restaurant is empty 🤔

Really loved my first visit to this little gem. Great place to have a relaxing little dinner or lunch. The staff is really friendly and the atmosphere is really great. Love the decor of the place as well. The food is also amazing. As it was a first visit, just tried something light. But safe to say, loved it and will definitely go back to try their big bowls of ramen =D

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant! Their food is always consistently good, and delicious. I have never been disappointed. Situated in Bain Street, in trendy Richmond Hill, Mellas is a place I've gone back to time and again because they're reasonably priced and their dim-sum is one of the best I've tasted in PE. They also always have prawn crackers on the table to nibble on while you wait for your food, and they make their own Chilli oil which you absolutely must try. What I love most about Mellas, is that it's perfect for both quick lunch time stops, and also for supper with friends or a loved one. I have made it my mission to try everything on their menu. Visit the restaurant and try their food for yourself, you won't be disappointed!

I always make a plan to go to Suki when I visit Gqeberha. It’s been my favourite sushi restaurant for years. Although a bit pricy compared to other restaurants in the area, they always deliver food well worth the price. You will struggle to find sushi this good for this price in most other cities in South Africa. They have a variety of decadent and creative options that separate it from similar establishments.

What an amazing evening! Great sushi and great service as always! The chef at the sushi counter even gave us a show in preparation of his whole salmon! What skill!!

Wow, what can I say. 3rd time back and just gets better. Can most definitely recommend the teriyaki pork ribs. Party of 4 and everyone satisfied with their food.

Celebrated 🍾 hubbies 60th birthday 🎂 at The Hussar Grill, Walmer. Our table was right next to a warm fireplace in a splendid dining area where we were served the most exceptional food of our choice. Gcina, our waitress, was absolutely amazing 👏 thank you 😊 for making this happen. Your personal attention made it a birthday occasion to remember 🙏 The Hussar Grill is in a class of its own. It's warm and inviting, and the staff are stylishly dressed in their uniforms. It's definitely worth it 👌 and I just can not get over the decor ... spot on!

What a treat on Mother’s Day!♥️ True to Greek cuisine - very tasty, large portions and a great ambiance! We had a sushi starter with big pieces to our surprise. We couldn’t finish this seafood platter for 2 after the sushi😜But our leftovers turned out to be a good home light supper. This place is a MUST! Safest to make a booking if on a weekend. If you’re in Gqeberha for 2 nights - 1 day must be at Coachmans Restaurant and the other night La Kouzina. It’s the same owners - so a double treat over 2 days 🥂

This place is absolutely gorgeous, quite big in the inside. The ambiance is so tranquil. I had supper there with friends, Food was scrumptious. Service was amazing, big portions as well. We had a great time. Their prices are very reasonable as well.

What a disappointment! I am not one to ever complain, but...... Our first experience and our last!! My husband and I went last night for dinner to celebrate our 15 year anniversary and we left there feeling very unhappy and disappointment. I cannot belive we paid what we paid for the food we received! We eat out quite often and dont mind spending money on quality food, but I am sorry! The food was disgusting!! Especially the beef snitchel! All my husband could taste was the crunchy batter that turned into a paste after a few chews and the meat was so thin he could not even taste the meat! The Moussaka wasn't great, very mediocre, actually made me feel ill! The quality of the food is not good at all... We also had the prawn and halloumi skewer and the calamari heads for starter, again it was not great. The service was not up to scratch. We were sitting and watching how the waitresses were standing at the bar doing nothing for long, while we were sitting without drinks and had our finished plates on the table (for long). They need to be more awake! One of the drinks we received was wrong! My husband ordered a brandy and coke, when it eventually arrived, he realised after a few sips it was a Spice gold and coke, which he doesn't enjoy! We did mention it and all we got was 'So sorry about that'... No attempt to correct the wrong!! We paid for a drink that he did not drink! This was a very unsatisfactory experience and just put a damper on our special evening!

Exceptional! We loved this restaurant we had to go back twice while visiting PE for a weekend. The authentic Greek tapas were our favourite. The service was brilliant - also loved the classy outfits that the waitresses wear. The menu offers something for everyone from Greek to pastas, pizzas and even sushi. We also saw platters of sushi going out and it looked amazing! Sorry we couldn’t try it too. The cocktails also get a 10/10. Thank you for the most enjoyable dining experiences 🤗

Came here for my anniversary and was not disappointed! Decor: 10/10 - what better place than to watch the moon rise over the ocean Food 10/10- I tried a range of food from the mezze to the sushi (sushi is probably some of the best I have tasted ever) Drinks- 10/10 - a wide cocktail menu and one of the few places in Gqeberha you can find a decent martini. Bartender seemed a bit overwhelmed though. Service - 10/10 - our waitress Nicola was very attentive and was very efficient I recommend booking if you want a verrandah seat

My boyfriend and I went here for a date. The environment is lovely and it shares the ocean view with Ocean Basket and Coachman that's upstairs. The decor is beautiful and the service was nice. They have a lot of menu options from food and drinks. I believe they can cater for any one because there are burgers, pasta, pizza, seafood, grills, sushi, etc on the menu. It wasn't busy when we were there so we didn't wait long for our food and drinks. We had burgers which was very nice, and they weren't stingy on the toppings! Some couple close to us had pizzas and that look amazing. Trying their pizzas would definitely be my next choice when I visit again!

Beautiful healthy fresh food with simple yet wonderful flavours, nicely sized portions (you will not leave Shanna's still hungry). Service was faster than I would have expected on such a busy night. Staff and owner were all friendly and kind. Very lively and happy atmosphere, you can tell that everyone was excited to be there. Be prepared to speak loudly to have a conversation, just like everyone else. But that's not a complaint... It was fantastic to see everyone just enjoying themselves.

Our family always celebrates special occasions at Shanna’s, and it truly makes every visit extra special. The manager, George, is so welcoming and always makes us feel right at home. The waiters give the best service , they’re friendly, attentive, and always smiling. And the food… it’s out of this world! Every time we go, it completely blows our minds how amazing everything tastes. Shanna’s never disappoints — it’s easily one of our favorite places to celebrate and enjoy great food together.

This is the second time I have called to place an order, the first time 2 months ago at 5pm and was told I can't order till 6pm and the second time today getting told I can't order at 6pm because it interferes with their serviced dinner although their page clearly states they only open at 6pm. Getting told by 2 different people, 2 different stories shows there is no communication amongst the staff but what makes a dine in customers money more important than mine? Ridiculous, we wonder why we dont have good places in PE to eat but then when you hear about a good place, you get second class service. Some of us have kids and the restaurant and menu is clearly not suited for kids but we still wanted to try it.

Classic comparison between what I ordered and what I received. I'm a lover of cocktails the way they taste and especially the way they look. My cocktail looked like a glass of water compared to the cocktail I ordered (pictures attached.) They Literally just need to change the glass and added lemon and lime. Which I found out later they actually did have. We only saw our water when he took our order and when we got our drinks didn't see him for your rest of the evening. Another water brought us the food. We order water from her and she completely forgot about it we had to go fetch it ourselves. Culinary was dirty forks and plates. We sat a the table without it being cleared for 15 minutes. Only to realize there's a mandatory 10% tip apparently even if the serves was non existent. Which was very disappointing not having the option to not leave a tip or to even tip less than 10%.

Beer Yard is the place to go in PE - hiding away in Richmond Hill is a gem of a place, good food, music and friends can be found here. The waiters genuinely care about the customers, making a point of remembering you and giving you a memorable experience to boot. Having been around for years, it's always buzzing with regulars and due to their amazing prices, diners frequent the place every night of the week. So grab your family and go out the eat, Beer Yard can't be beat!!!

This is quite a popular spot to wind down and relax in PE which is also one of my go to’s. The vibe during the day is very relaxed but can get quite vibey on weekend nights. The food is simple yet absolutely yummy. My go to is the chicken breast burger or any of their pasta options. The swimming pool in the middle of the restaurant is such a cool touch and just adds to the no fuss atmosphere.

This place has really become a great place to come and have a chilled time. Really relaxed environment with a really great selection of beer. We had our staff party here and we had a fantastic time. Their pizzas are great! The place has a few semi-private areas also where groups can gather and chill. Go check it out you wont be disappointed.

With Indian fine dining in PE a scarce commodity, I would highly recommend RD as the place to close the gap. The vegetarian menu, host knowledge of all offerings it makes for a homely and honest experience of how you would be treated as if in India! Service unmatched to any other restaurant i have been to… Atmosphere easy going and family orientated, One cannot ask for more. Food is great, there can be some adjustments, but overall in the realm of excellence. Would recommend and return… Thank you

It's as good as any Indian food I've ever had in South Africa. Extensive menu (which isn't always a good thing) but we sampled from many items on the menu and we we're happy with everything. PE is blessed with many good restaurants. This certainly is amongst the best.

Loved the food, atmosphere, lovely welcome I received from Jared who served our table with a smile 😃 The owner welcomed us and chatted to us about the menu and his recommendations as well as Jared's was spot on. Awesome curries and butter chicken. Worth another visit

My Chicken Korma and Oxtail Curry were actually pretty good. But for the steep price, there were no sides like rice or naan bread. Tasty, but I feel overpriced without the extras, countrywide comparability.

Such a vibe 🍋 the area is full of quaint restaurants and a brewery (Richmond Hill Brewing). Definitely worth exploring the area a little with all the cafes, breweries and restaurants. I had the lemon chilli chicken at Remo’s Italian and I didn’t think something that sounds so plain and simple could be so damn yummy. It was stupidly delicious and had so much flavour 🍋🌶️

Was looking forward to some delicious Italian food but unfortunately I was disappointed The food around the table was rather hit or miss. My order of Renzo’s pasta tasted like a box of mince mate and my mom wasn’t happy with her pasta. My sister had some gnocchi which was delicious and my husband lasagna which was also delicious. Atmosphere is okay, very hot in there.

Basic restaurant- kind of homely. Unlicensed so bring your own alcohol - You could help yourself to soft drinks. Menu on black board with basic Thai foods. Fried rice was absolutely Devine. Veg spring roll was different in a good way. Was not so impressed with the green chicken curry or the stir fry. Then again it’s my taste buds.

The wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and laidback Mark doesn’t detract from the amazing quality of the most memorable food that Natti and her team prepare. If you’re unsure about what to order, ask Mark for his recommendations, as we always do. Can’t go wrong. We’ll be back soon.

Natti and Mark run a very interesting Thai restaurant, it's a must visit because it is so very casual and relaxing. Nothing fancy or pretentious about the place, what you see is what you get. There is no fuss or bother in the place, Mark is a very approachable and friendly guy. We immediately felt at home, 4 men out for supper, and he recommended a medley of Thai dishes, we simply loved them all, ranging from hot curries to delicate dumplings. We brought our own wine (they are not licensed for some strange reason) and we proceeded to order even more food, it was that good, thanks to Natti's expertise in the kitchen. Hope to go back soon when I am in PE again.

It's everything right. A little house with no sign outside. You buzz on the gate and someone comes out to let you in. It's a happy family where the Thailand wife knocks out the real deal. Not licence but bring your own, sit down, order everything and full the top of your table.. eat and eat and eat.

Nolio was an absolute treat. Service was prompt and friendly, we were served by Marno who was well knowledged about the menu and made wonderful recommendations. We started with a fresh mojito and strawberry daiquiri. Both were yummy and not too sweet. Starters: Beef carpaccio was devine, with oven fired muscles that were cooked to perfection. Mains we ordered Pollo Funghi and Frutti de Mare which was to die for. Portion sizes are generous and well priced. Would definitely recommend for date nights. Nolio is a fast favorite

Nolio is an absolute gem for a relaxed daytime meal! The atmosphere was bright and welcoming, with a lovely balance of sophistication and comfort. What a lovely experience, the waiters offered great services, very interactive and friendly service. The food was really good, quality dishes, with a menu that offers a range of authentic Italian food. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming, although the restaurant gets rather full, I would recommend making a reservation beforehand if you want indoor seating on a windy day. This restaurant is a lovely place for a date night, or to celebrate a birthday. The staff make a fuss of you on your birthday which is really sweet. Thank you for the great service and food. I have officially found the best authentic Italian restaurant 🇮🇹 I had an amazing linguine pasta Frutti Di Mare in a white cream wine sauce. 10/10. Deserves every 5 star there is. I will definitely be going back for more very soon! Can't wait for my next visit to Nolio! 🍕🍝

Amazing food. Very well priced. Tapa styled ranging from Thai to Japanese food. Very intimate atmosphere. We got to speak to the chefs. Very sweet guys. Definitely would recommend. Did I mention how tasty everything was!!! Make sure to bring your own alcohol but they do have their own nonalcoholic alternatives

We had an amazing dinner at Kok. A very unique dinning experience, where the chef served us his choice of dishes until we told him we have had enough (he first checked that we didn’t have any dietary restrictions). The food was so flavourful, and one could taste the freshness of the ingredients. He served us an assortment of tapas as starters, pad thai and teriyaki steak for mains, and his take on a malva pudding for dessert. The atmosphere also resembled the restaurants one would find in Thailand and Indonesia. If you are booking for a meal experience where you are transported to a foreign country during your meal, along with amazing food, this is the place!

An absolute gem of a place in the heart of Walmer. Each dish placed before us was a sensation of asian flavors that delighted the palette and kept us wanting to try more ... until we just couldn't anymore, ending in a last burst of sweet flavours that finished off an incredible gastronomic experience!!! Highly recommended!!!

This restaurant specialises in Thai inspired South East Asian dishes. Though it might seem like a somewhat strange location for a restaurant the ambience inside with all the tropical plants create the perfect setting. They have a great vegan selection. Their prices are very reasonable and the restaurant has a good wine selection even for the picky wine drinker. The service was good and the owner is a great host. They have live music performances on some evenings so contact them to find out when the next evening is. All round a good experience worth a few more visits.

What a great experience, we indulged in more than enough mind blowing starters, followed by a entree that was new to us, and also a solid Chicken/Prawn Pad Thai. Everything was exceptional, the pad thai was extraordinary, one of the best in the world.

One of the better places in Gqeberha for breakfast. Everything is prepared with care and fresh. Service very friendly and smooth. I found the prices rather on the higher side. There is ample Parking just in front of the restaurant. Definitely try one of their waffles. Highly recommended.

The staff were lovely - Pam in particular was warm and attentive. I had the all-day breakfast, which was mostly enjoyable, and the pineapple and coconut cheesecake was a standout. Unfortunately, the steak panini my mom ordered was disappointing: an overcooked block of tail-end fillet on thick banting bread. Pam had it redone, but the second attempt came back plain and without any garnish. Small things added up - like iced coffee glasses too tall for the straws, and slimy eggs when I asked for soft. At these prices, you’d expect a bit more polish.

5 star service, 5 star food, 5 star atmosphere. Best place to enjoy a weekend breakfast and they will swap bacon for extra mushrooms which I find extremely accommodating. Highly recommended. Best cakes aswell without a doubt.

I went to Vovo Telo to grab a coffee with a friend and it was quite enjoyable, the wait time was not too long and the atmosphere was pleasant I ordered the immune Booster and a Butter Toffee Mocha which were both enjoyable but the basket in tea pot for the immune booster was fairly high in the pot so it did not have the chance to properly brew. Yet irregardless was good and would recommend to everyone. The butter Toffee Mocha tasted divine but was way to hot to drink from (saying this after drinking the Immune booster) but would recommend to those with a sweet tooth. The only reason I rated down the atmosphere was because when they made a milkshake there would be a very loud noise and the smell of rubber melting which was unpleasant. Overall I would highly recommend making Vovo Telo a spot to catch up with friends and hang out.

Dear Vovo Telo Management, I hope this message finds you well. My wife and I visited your establishment for lunch around 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 9th, 2025. While our experience started off well and we were enjoying the atmosphere and service, it was unfortunately disrupted due to multiple instances of vaping within the outside dining area. First, a customer entered to place and collect a takeaway order while openly vaping. Shortly afterward, a couple seated themselves at the table directly next to ours, right beside a "No Smoking" sign and also began vaping. Despite clearly seeing the sign, the gentleman continued to vape throughout our meal. The musky vapor was so strong that I could both smell and taste it while eating, which significantly affected our enjoyment of the food and overall experience. I would like to ask: Is vaping permitted within your restaurant premises? If it is not allowed, perhaps clearer or more prominently displayed signage could help prevent similar situations in the future. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback. Loved the food there. Had salads and the rooibos milkshake. Food came in big portion, which is appropriate for the value that it was charged at. I would definitely recommend people to try the rooibos milkshake as you do not get it often anywhere else! The waitering service was questionable. My waitress didn’t attend to us. Kept walking past as we signalled for her for the menu, as well as the bill. A group of waitress stood by the bar area (where the drinks and cakes are placed) and chatted away, making quite a noise. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience.

Food was great! Lovely sitting outside on a sunny day. I was there on a Sunday morning & we waited forever for our drinks, then again waited really long for food. I think better provision needs to be made for when they are busy.

Such a lovely venue! Great for kids and families. Addicted to their flapjack stack and it’s always our go to stop when on the way to Port Elizabeth. Service was abit slow, had a hard time getting the attention of the waitron at times. Wide variety and a cute farm stall selling fresh goods and flowers.

Always have a lovely time at Grass Roof! I visited for my first time in 10 years and they’ve really expanded the space, it’s awesome now. Food and drinks are wonderful, and I love their little farmstand store. Highly recommend!

Adore Grass Roof. I come here for a weekly 5k walk on the trail, to the restaurant for breakfasts and cake, to the shop to pick up fresh flowers (and slush puppies!), and to the kiddies side for birthday parties. This is such an awesome part of PE.

The grass roof is a truly lovely destination for those looking for a bite to eat, or something fun to do on the weekend. The venue is peaceful and pet friendly and houses a restaurant, coffee shop and farm stall, as well as a few hiking trails for those more adventurous. I would recommend to anyone in the area.

First time at Grass Roof, 85 of us. The food quality is very good. Burgers are really good and Pizza and nice and thin and crispy. Well worth a trip!!

The Beef Burger was devine amd very good value. The Yellow Juice (pineapple and apple) was very watery and not as expected. Overall very good.

Worst experience booking for the Christmas lunch. Food was not served at the table together, some of us waited 3 hours for the main course. Food was below standard expected and management basically clueless to how service should be delivered.

Absolutely amazing Pizzas - we had the Bridge Street and the Mexican. Besides that, we were served by Bennie (Bernard) and what an exceptional waiter. He is kind, made my birthday memorable and truly added to this atmosphere. The music was great, fire lit and quality amazing.

Great location with beautiful sea views. spacious and well laid out with a good amount of seating. service is good with a smile and very attentive. Food can seem a bit pricey but portions make up for it. The calamari was amazing and Hake a little basic and boring. Kids meal more than enough. Drinks of average price with Cocktails been on the pricier side than most places around. awesome selection of goodies to buy on the way out with ample parking outside. would definitely recommend a visit

The service was really good... friendly and efficient. We sat outside on the deck overlooking the sea and were treated to a stunning sunset. The setting is stunning, and eating seafood whilst watching the lights of fishing boats bobbing in the ocean is really special! The portions were enormous and necessitated doggy bags all round after we'd eaten our fill.

What a fun family restaurant, serving fabulous food with a scenic panoramic view of the ocean. Genrous portions of mouth watering, tasty food. The ribs, prawns and chips combo is a winner - finger linking good and enough to fill a "big oak". Whether you are out joy-riding on your motorbike or taking the family out for a meal, do your self a favour and stop at Barnacles.

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would. The food is afdordable, tasty and well presented. The cheese burger was devine, and I will have every time!

Loved this place so much. The food was so delicious 😋 and affordable,the portions were so big. As someone from Joburg I appreciated the hake so much it was so thick and juicy. Best hake I've ever had. The service was on point and the view just blew me away. The cherry 🍒 on top was the school of dolphins 🐬 I will definitely return when im in the Eastern Cape again

We are visiting PE for the weekend and drove past on out way to another eating establishment. But tonight we stopped at Grillers and what is not to like. We enjoyed every aspect of this evening out. Staff friendly and not in your face while you eating. Good selection of food, decent portions, bread and meat super fresh, service is super fast. Many thanks guy for a lovely evening. My entire family loved it.

A very nice family restaurant, with a children's playroom. So a nice place to bring children to. Service was great, I was helped by a very friendly waitress, which made the experience all the more better. Food was nicely portioned. They are not shy with the onion rings and the chips. Overall, it's a cute restaurant.

Best Experience Ever. Felt like I landed in America. Food was delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Recommendations were made as we have dietary restrictions. Drinks; Coffee Smoothie and Homemade Lemonade. No photos of the food but lots of the place.

EDIT: The owner reached out and offered to rectify the situation, exceptional response. Picked up a toasted sandwich at the drive thru. 40 min wait for a barely toasted mess. Onions piled in and cheese cold and no where close to melted. Something so basic. I’ll rather make one at home next time

The diner was never on my go to list but so pleased I finally went in<how did i not ever enter???> The food type is American Diner. Only 3 stars as its not my favourite food but they could get more if you like American foods. 5stars for milkshakes though!! The wait staff friendly and wellspoken in English and Afrikaans. The diner was clean and decorated in theme. I can imagine hosting a small party at this restaurant. Great for all amd especially when you have little people to dine with. There is also the pull up and order option <Roadhouse> but I enjoyed this cosy spot more than expected.

Bookings essential. Nice vibe, small groups, huge selection of gins, live music. We really did feel like a sneaky prohibition gathering. Almost felt like we should dress the part too.

My friends and I absolutely loved our visit to this place and will definitely be going back. I love the exclusivity of the establishment, with the theme being the Prohibition. Hence the name 1933. Definitely worth the visit, we were treated to live music by Marc Anthony too, which was absolutely amazing!

This is a definite must, Nineteen 33 is a beautiful spot for musicians to showcase their talents, the acoustics inside the venue create an audible orgasm, the sound is just perfect, I attended the 2nd edition of the Monday Night Blues and was pleased to see a full house in support local Blues Guitarist, Mr Rob Thompson and The Line Backers who I might just add, rocked the house to such an extent that the audience demanded encore after encore, needless to say, the band delivered the goods and rocked on with some Chuck Berry and Jimi Hendrix much to the crowds delight. The only thing stopping this from a solid party was the daft curfews that are in place, but, being a Monday, I guess that's a good thing. This will be a monthly event and I'd seriously recommend that you get some tickets and brace yourself to be transported to Blues Heaven. On a side note, the menu is proper, just right for the setting, I enjoyed a Nacho Burger (delicious is an understatement) and my Mates shared a platter which was a definite winner. It's the perfect evening out, with mates, your mistress or your wife, everyone will dig it!

Our host Jacques was gracious and kind. This is the place you want to be for private functions. Exceptionally well stocked bar. A must do!

Hungry Peter really makes you hungry. Food is authentic Indian. Best Indian food available in Port Elizabeth. Indian delicacies are finger licking delicious.Service is quick and friendly. If you love traditional Durban curry , this is the place to go. The mutton bunny is the real deal ! A deluge of curry gravy to soak in your bread in, combined with a lot of flavoursome curried meat. You will not be disappointed. This rates one of the best curries I’ve had. Will definitely be back.

The doors were open so myself and my wife went in to order, first the cashier starts shouting "hello" because we never heard her the first time then says to us they still closed even though it was open, besides for that the owner walks past and says "did you tell them we closed" but with so much attitude. So as much as I would order there, their attitude is not appreciated.

I've never had any problem with Debonairs. But the pizza I got from them this time had virtually no fillings just mayonaise, cheese and bread.

So disappointing. We ordered the meat cram decker and chilli chicken triple decker. The meat cram decker had two to three pieces of square meat (ham) on each slice. And I'm not even exaggerating. On the ingredients list on the app it indicates to also having spare ribs. The pizza had a lot of BBQ sauce. No cream cheese (also an ingredient listed on the app). The chilli chicken triple decker Had spots of cheese on top. You could see patches of crust. Also, no cream cheese in sight. The man at the till also wasn't very friendly. He had someone he clearly was indicating and he wasn't very communicative or friendly to her. I feel sorry for her.

This post doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating that's how terrible the service is at this branch. You wait forever to be served. Let alone the individual whose taking your order through the drive through not understanding simple English, having to repeat orders almost 6 times. Its pathetic service. Truly. You wait about 10-15 minutes in a Drive through. Never again! Waiting to pay for your order and there's no one at the counter- waiting another 8 minutes.

Honestly this place has just gotten worse compared to how it was before. And to think this is one of the main branches that gets local and foreign nationality but the service is just a disgrace. Sunday was our last straw when there was no service and a delay in food and the tables and chairs were dirty, you choose table service but you just go to the long que and find out what is the problem with your food, everyone decided to ignore the customers as everyone just seemed busy and when asking for service there was attitude giving. Man you guys are the beacon of Summerstrand yet Linton Grange and Greenacres standards are way better then this. I REALLY HOPE REGIONAL STEPS IN, cause this is not the first time and many people that were standing there said the same thing. Yes people go to your branch everyday but now you are losing your loyal customers. Do better man.

Place was extremely dirty. Waiters only realise after our food arrived that they do not have the strawberry milkshake. I also ordered chili cheese fries. They apparently have no forks also. Very pathetic. Would not recommend. No kids areas so don't bother bringing kids.

Very nice place, it has a double storey so it has nice views. Unfortunately, we had to change our order just because they didn't have enough change? This is highly unprofessional. Our table hadn't been wiped down properly and had ketchup stains on it. We spent the day walking on the beach and went inside for an ice cold MC flurry only to find out they've run out of caramel? The MC Donald's famous fries were cold and you could tell they weren't fresh this was my first time at this location and i was highly disappointed as compared to the other MC Donalds I've been to

Drive through means just that - 4x Big Mac meals, keeping the order straight forward because we are in a hurry....yet we need to park and wait.... just to have to get out after 10min to collect ourselves inside. Really?

Wimpy food is most of the time good, but unfortunately Baywest Mall Wimpy has let us down one too many times. We have walked in waited for over 10 minutes without any acknowledgement from staff at the counter, because they were too busy on their phone and we ended up walking out and eating somewhere else at Baywest. Please note that this happened to us more than once and that other customers has been given menus, greeted and seated in the time that we were ignored completely by staff working there. We have decided that we will never support Wimpy at Baywest again, because of this unfair treatment.

Upon arriving at Baywest Mall, we found no sign that dogs were not allowed. I now have photos to prove this. We took our Yourkshure Dog with us. We arrived at Wimpy, but nobody approached us to guide us to a seat. We then proceeded to the furthest outer corner and sat down. None of the waiters approached to indicate that the dog was not allowed. After completing our lunch, the manager approached to complain about the dog. As always with Wimpy, the food was excellent, but at this venue, the service was not. The service of JayBay Fountains Mall Wimpy is probably the best Wimpy in South Africa and so much more friendly and accommodating. Deon Louw

Had a terrible experience today when ordering items from the new menu, arrived at the drive-thru and ordered as usual but could not hear what was being said so I kindly asked to repeat what was being said, I was promptly shouted at like a child. When I arrived at the window to pay the attendant who is named as Phelisa on my receipt, she proceeded to give me nasty looks and rudely shove the receipt in my face. A great experience ruined as the food was good and the ladies at the other window were kind and thoughtful. I would never leave a review like this and I understand that you can't expect everyone to provide amazing customer service at all times because everyone has off days but I have worked a service job before when I was younger and have never displayed my sour attitude towards customers no matter what was going on in my personal life. It is rude and unprofessional. I don't intend for anyone to get in trouble, just for everyone to learn and be kind to one another.

Good day, I purchased a meal for my wife, my child, and myself from KFC on Saturday, 21 June 2025, at around 5:00 o'clock. Unfortunately, the chicken we received was very wet on the inside, even though the outside appeared normal. The texture was unusual and gave the impression that it hadn’t been cooked properly. While there was no visible blood, the inside was overly moist—almost like a mix of water and oil—which made it feel undercooked. Out of concern for our health, I threw the chicken away. I realized afterward that I should have taken photos but was more focused on ensuring we didn’t eat it. I’m sharing this not just for my family’s sake, but for the safety of all customers. Properly cooked chicken is essential, and I trust steps will be taken to prevent this from happening again. Have a blessed day further.

Been there many times, never seen any management ever. Orders take forever even though service is ok. Food is definitely better than what it was. Not one the most efficient KFC's in Port Elizabeth. Three years down the line and not much has changed. Service still poor and I ordered a streetwise 5 piece and this is what I get, 5 smallest chicken pieces you could imagine.

About to give the new crunch burger a try, will give an update soon...Update: it was really good but I prefer the previous version with the cheese and bacon vibes.

Their food is great. One thing that put me off is when we asked if we could sit down and eat. The cashier said then she will have to add 10% onto our bill. When asked why she could not explaine as to why. No other place has ever asked for a 10% to sit down and eat. Really seemed odd.

Lovely shop situated at the far end of Sunridge Village Shopping Centre on Kragga Kamma Road. Friendly and professional staff. Absolutely stunning interior remodelled recently. Consistantly good quality food for low prices. Very good!

Very disappointed with the food and service. The restaurant has downgraded since the owner changed. Placed an order down for ramen and stir fry noodles - the food was basically the same…one was just soaked in soup. The restaurant used to serve good food, at affordable prices with varied ingredients. So I’m highly disappointed. The staffs were not very friendly as well. Hopefully my next visit will be better, if there is a next time.

I enjoyed my food. There is a lunch special menu on display. Clean store with many seats. Staff is super friendly and assisting in ordering vegetarian meals. The waiting time was acceptable, not too long. Veggie meal included good variety of selected vegetables and egg as the protein substitute. The portion is filling.

Ling Long will always remain as my most favourite Chinese Take-Away. This small restaurant is the perfect place to find great food, chilled vibes and good times! Ling Long has a vast menu of Asian delights ranging from the well-known freshly made sushi to the spicy side of the Singapore Straits. They have all your Chinese favourites as well and also some secret menu add-ons! Dumplings and Singapore Noodles are a must!

I would rate this restaurant no stars if i could. I don't know about other days, but today their service was horrible. I waited in line for 15mins before I got to the front. Once there the man started checking tills slips and counting money without even acknowledging my presence for like 7mins, i checked. Once I ordered it took 45 minutes for my takeaway pizza to arrive after a whole lot of nagging and complaining from customers around me as to when they would get their food. The workers were slow, rude and didn't seem to care that it was taking forever to make the pizza. especially the man in front taking the orders at the till. so disappointing

So i ordered 2 traditional family pizzas from the Mr d app. Paid R 130 for the 2 pizzas thinking traditional family pizzas should be fairly big considering it is a family pizza? However what I received seemed to me like small pizzas that are a tiny tiny bit bigger than normal. Besides that I was completely disappointed about the size the pizza itself was far far from amazing. The taste was so bland and boring it was like they were very shy with the sauce and spices. Also the base was not even 1 mm thick. I should actually have taken a picture it was unbelievably thin( if i missed an option for pizza base size my bad then). All in all the pizza wasn't awful i was just so dissapointed for what I received for the money I paid. I could have gotten 5 small pizzas(which are bigger than this "family sized pizza" from (I will at least not name other pizza business here) pizza place X for arguments sake for the price of R 125 and it would have been enough for me and my GF for 2 meals. Those 2 traditional family pizzas did not even closely satisfy me. So I want to end this review by saying I do not expect any sort of compensation I don't care about that. I just hope that some manager somewhere sees this and talks to whoever "designs" these pizza menus and prices because it is absurd.

Unfortunately not the greatest experience with Panarottis. I received the wrong pizza through Uber Eats which wasn’t a problem I know mistakes happen. But the way it was handled by the manageress was shocking! Incredibly rude and condescending. Not helpful at all to the situation.

Mixed feelings, one pizza was amazing and the other was average. The one was perfect but the other didn't have the right distribution of sauce, toppings and cheese (few places had a lot and others not so much) but otherwise they were well made and the wait was not long.

We had a very bad experience: on Tuesday 26/11, we called the shop to enquire if they could deliver to the bowling alley. The person (Leo) said yes and assured us that they can) We went ourselves on that day to the shop to place our order for the next day 27/11, our son's b-day party to be held st the bowling. Leo met us telling us that they ran out of cheese" not a very good 1st impression. We (my husband and I) told him we wanted to speak with him. He left us at the counter for 5/10mns until he came to us. After a long and confusing conversation where he could not understand us or us him,, we finally agreed on what we will order, the special applicable and the price. He wrote everything down in a book and confidently said that he is off on Wednesday 27/11. but he "will be there for our order to make sure everything is ok". On Wednesday, I went to the shop to pay, Leo was not there. The pizzas were ready, but the person there wanted to charge me more, telling me that the specials we got were wrong and the price we had to pay was more !! I expressed my anger at that and eventually I paid the amount agreed upon with Leo... When I asked for the pizzas to be delivered, I was told they can't as they do not have staff!!!! I had to leave my son and his friends at the bowling during that whole time and on top of it all I had to carry 4 large hot pizzas, with a back that I had injured a few days ago... Panarotti, never ever again!

I not happy with my pizza at all I've ordered a saucy gourmet chicken suprime pizza which I always order in East London and the ingredients are always on par and the taste is always consistent but the one I've just ordered here at the express is totally different and there was hardly any chicken or better yet close to none.

I don't go to Wimpy regularly anymore but this Wimpy is really in a class of it's own. From, reception, service and quality of the food. Unfortunately being inside the mall I only gave them a three. We had a function their with our staff and even the owners were taking part by giving applause when we handed over the awards. I can highly recommend anyone in Port Elizabeth to feel free to support them and be rest assured that you will receive great service.

Coffee wasn't great. I love my coffee, I've had Wimpy coffee before, this branches coffee was the worst I had anywhere. Also found a hair in my daughter's food gave it to the waitress and nothing was done.

My friend and I were blown away by the service from our waitress Gail she was kind, very helpful and went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our experience/food. We truly felt comfortable Thanks so much Gail 😊 we’ll definitely be coming back

The experience was a pleasant one. I must say I haven't been a big fan of wimpy of recent times because it's become very system orientated down to counting chips 😅 The experience I have had recently at the walmer branch was nice because they weren't shy with portions and the burger,chips and milkshake special was made with love.The waitress and service was good. Definitely value for money 💰 I would hesitate to recommend wimpy but I think they deserve a second chance. Well at least the walmer branch 😌 Check photos below 📸👇

Took my granddaughter & a friend for Friday lunch after school. Our waitress, who is not from South Africa is an absolute gem. The kiddies menu has a nice variety, meal comes with chips, soda or milkshake and a toy. I love it that they serve all day brekkie!!

The flapjack i ordered as seen on the photo is small dry and old and doesnt even look like a flapjack. The food is cold. And not enough salt for the chips. I ordered cutlery and didnt get any. The food tasted like yesterdays food warmed up and delivered cold. I exoectv

We found the Wimpy was a good place to sit while waiting for our flight to JHB because it’s spacious and clean and you have a nice view of the runway. Their coffee is ok and the cups are big but their service is rather slow.

This is not a quiet place to come and wait for your next flight out. The service is extremely slow and laid-back. I waited long to place an order and even longer after for the bill. I was seated close to the kitchen and actually moved to another table as the unnecessary yelling of the kitchen staff become quite unbearable. Eventually we finished up quickly and went to the pub next door for the remainder of our wait. So when you decide to wait here and have a meal try and seat as far away from the kitchen as you can or bring allot of patience and some earplugs along. For me it's a definite not in the future not even a maybe.

Pathetic service! Waiter had no manners.... Wrong order ! No avo. No cawl slaw... No nothing. Ordered a Strawberry smoothy and got mixed fruit juice. Shame this place needs help or better management

Retro Wimpy It feels like I've traveled back in time. The staff are super friendly, going thr extra mile. Trolleys aren't allowed in the restaurant, but they helped me lug all my pieces of luggage in and out. Alicia went as far as keeping my corner table for me when I did go check the my luggage in.

Everytime we get seated, but no service after that!!! Disappointed in the fact that it's at an airport where the service should be excellent!!! Go to PRIME downstairs instead ppl. We were seated and had drinks within the first 5 mins being there.

Arrived at 12h20, not that busy.At 12h40 I had to go and ask for service at front desk where Manager and three waiters had a lovely chat!We sat right opposite the kitchen window-food was on the counter for nearly 7minutes before if was brought to our table!Everyone just passed the order! Service bad and slow-dead slow!
