We were a party of 8 plus a baby, and no one had anything bad to say. The atmosphere is unique and exciting, the food is perfectly cooked and there is a big variety of choice, the farm itself and the horses is a kid friendly activity.

A wonderful restaurant! For starters, we had the charred artichoke and the tomato salad – both generous and delicious. For the main course, we ordered the porterhouse, cooked perfectly and evenly, juicy and full of flavor. The cheesecake for dessert was average. The service was excellent, and the private carriage dining experience was interesting and unique, though a bit unnecessary in my opinion. All in all – a great place with excellent food and a special atmosphere.

We arrived as a couple for a Friday dinner, the service was fast, our questions were answered professionally, the food was very tasty and the atmosphere was magical. This is not our first time at the restaurant and we look forward to the next time. It is a very special experience, it is recommended to book in advance.
My partner and I recently had dinner at this restaurant and we were amazed by the food and service.
We started with the meat tartar, recommend to as by our waiter, Liad. It was one of the specials and was incredibly flavorful and had the perfect texture.
For our main courses, my partner had the Beef Filet Medallions with Gnocchi and I had the 9 hour asado. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. To top off our meal, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary dessert of malabi, which was a perfect ending to our meal.
We had a great experience and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
Food was excellent and also the service! We needed Gluten free meal and though the kitchen is not sterile from gluten our daughter enjoyed gluten free hamburger with gluten free bun
Hot and noisy. That's the memory I'll take away from this place. The view seems obsolete compared to the chaos of the service. Dessert never arrived, and we left a little disappointed.
The burger was ok. I didn't taste the aioli, the shinnitzel was as it should be.

The Ari Ashkenazi Synagogue, established in the 16th century by Sephardic Jews from Greece, is a remarkable testament to history and spirituality. This historic site retains much of its original charm from 150 years ago and is located where the esteemed Kabbalist Yitzhak Luria, known as the Ari, would welcome the Sabbath. In the 18th century, it became a central place of worship for Tsfat's Ashkenazi Hasidic community.
Amazing history. 16th Century landmark surrounded by beautiful art shops and antique stores. It’s also got an amazing collection of artisan,restaurants and quick eats. They must stop And enjoy the history of the area. I love coming here as often as possible when I visit Israel.

This ancient synagogue is one of the most beautiful and historic in Israel. Named after the holy Arizal, it holds a deep spiritual energy and is still active today. The design is simple but full of meaning, and the atmosphere is very peaceful. It’s a special place for prayer or quiet contemplation. You feel a real connection to Jewish history here.
The Ashkenazi Ari Synagogue, located in Safed, Israel, was built in memory of Rabbi Isaac Luria (1534 - 1572), who was known by the Hebrew acronym "the ARI". It dates from the late 16th-century, it being constructed several years after the death of Luria, a great kabbalist who arrived in Safed in 1570. The synagogue is known for its colorful and ornate Holy Ark. It may be the oldest synagogue in Israel that is still in use.
Though the synagogue is associated by name with the Ashkenazi community, today it serves as a place of worship for Hasidic and Sephardic Jews and remains popular among worshippers of different affiliations.
Another ancient Safed synagogue dedicated to Rabbi Isaac Luria is known as the Sephardic Ari Synagogue.
A most historical and spiritual medieval synagogue. The very small but amazing synagogue is known for its colorful and ornate Holy Ark. It may be the oldest synagogue in Israel that is still in use. Authentic original 17th century building and furnishings. A great place to get a sense of Tzfat. Combines the mystical with the real side of Tzfat. Best if you can get a guide. A must see if you are in Tzfat (Safed). #synagogue
This synagogue is super historical and amazing to visit with a family or large groups. Please be aware of service times so as to not interrupt or in order to join. There is a great little hangout space to sit right outside the entrance.

The Abuhav Synagogue, located in the heart of Safed's Old City, is a 16th-century historic site with great religious and cultural significance. Named after Rabbi Yitzhak Abuhav, a prominent Spanish rabbi, this synagogue has an intriguing legend associated with it. It is said that the original synagogue in Spain miraculously appeared in Safed when authorities wanted to convert it into a church.
If you go to Tzfat this synagogue is a must visit in my opinion. Very beautiful and very prominent, just look at the pictures. Also there was a scribe gentleman that recite prayers for our children and that was very emotional for us.

This ancient shul is filled with history, beauty, and deep Kabbalistic symbolism. It’s a quiet, powerful place to sit, reflect, or pray. The interior artwork and Torah scrolls add to the sacred feeling inside.
This is one of the many places we visited on our tour with Aaron. It was incredible....some amazing details, architecture, and amazing people. So much history, LOVED Safed and its atmosphere. Met a lovely lady who does a metallic type of arm art, a very animated guy and his family (amazing coffee). Highly recommend Safed if you are in Israel. We went in late May, to early June, 2019, on our tour.
Incredible synagogue. Has the oldest sefer Torah in the world written by Abuhav himself. Beautiful design according to Kabbalah. Shaharit at 5am. Shabbat Services. Very friendly kahal.
Located in the mountainous old city of Safed, Abuhav synagogue has a mysterious, spiritual atmosphere to it, an old remnant of its glorious past. The sky-blue paint on the walls combined with white shades oozes off Jewish vibes, reminiscent of the Israeli flag.
Unlike any synogogue that I've ever visited. Aside from the bimah in the middle of the room, it had a very artsy, eclectic, relaxed feeling to it. Even the added chairs in the room were the exact opposite of the fancy pretentious synogogues that so many Americans are used to. Highly recommend place to visit when touring Northern Israel.

A little Observatory at the north edge of Rosh Pina. The Observatory was built in memory of Nimrod Segev. It offers a beautiful view of The Galilee Panhandle (Etzba Hagalil).
Reccommended for a short visit if you are traveling nearby.

Highly recommend!! We had a large family Shabbat in Tsfat and Zev made us customized great salads for all of our meals. The portions were generous, fresh, healthy and very tasty. We also had the chocolate ice cream and it was delicious. Zev was happy to adjust the food according to our needs and preferences. All in all, ordering from Zev was a good choice.

Zev and Eli have the coolest vegan restaurant around. Walking in you are greeted by a tantalizing aroma of spices, the atmosphere is totally zen and they have an incredible menu. These guys are legit and everything you come to Tzfat for!
Came here for a quick lunch and got to enjoy a salad with hummus and delicious gluten free crackers. It was so good we went back for a smoothie a few hours later!
Although out of ordinary business hours, Zev was nice enough to let us have early dinner at his restaurant and we weren’t disappointed in the slightest! It’s a refreshing experience to have a menu where everything is gluten free and vegan, and my girlfriend enjoyed not being restricted to only a dish or two.
Speaking of the dishes, they were incredible! We started off with two huge bowls of orange soup and Indian dal, followed by two excellent veggie burgers with homemade tomato chutney. The food was freshly made on the spot by Zev, who was an entertaining host throughout the entire evening and made us feel welcome for the entirety of our 2.5-hour stay.
The highlight of the evening was definitely the vegan ice cream, which was creamy and indistinguishable in texture from dairy ice cream. We took the vegan cheese cake and brownies to eat later on our trip, and they were excellent as well.
I recommend coming and giving this lovely little cafe a try, and I recommend doing it during the quieter time of day so you can experience Zev as well as the food!
Very delicious food, great variety of different colorful dishes with their own spin on it, very natural and unique. We tried the hummus, the veggie burger, the pizza, Indian stir fry, spring rolls, home made ice cream, and chocolate dates. To drink we had the house smoothie, homemade almond milk, and ginger ale, and ginger shots all around. Everything was delicious and made in a way that I've never seen anywhere else. The owner is also super friendly and a great guy to shmooze with. I would definitely recommend!
Excellent food. Great atmosphere. We had the Indian curry vegetables with quinoa. Delicious. And so was the tomatoes chutney. The owner was so friendly and helpful. The air conditioning provided a nice respite from the heat. We will definitely be back to try the vegan ice cream. Portions were generous. We took home the leftovers.

Café in a remote area high up the mountains in a forest. Views up here are very nice, there are different seating options (outside on the terrace, inside in the café). The staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered the breakfast for two and mushroom pizza. The breakfast was huge and included homemade bread (very nice, warm and fluffy), spreads, one salat, 4 drinks (2 cold, 2 hot). The pizza was alright, would love more mushrooms on it. The vibe is relaxing, fitting the environment.

For day 2, we recommend exploring the northeast side side of town. Start the day off with Domus Galilaeae, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Biriya Forest. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Completed in 2000, it serves as a large complex for Christian seminars and conventions. Visitors are impressed by its beautiful decorations and the passionate explanations provided during tours. The site holds significance for both Christianity and Judaism, with a library containing Torah and historical books.

Nestled in the heart of nature, Limonim Forest offers a delightful escape for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike. Starting from Safed, adventurers can embark on a scenic trail that meanders alongside the Akhbara Stream, leading into the lush embrace of this forest. The area is rich in history, with nearby Akhbara village dating back to Roman times and featuring stunning cliffs that overlook breathtaking valleys dotted with caves.
After hiking all over Israel, it was nice to find somewhere that has so many trees and so much shade. Steep hills make for a tough hike but the springs in the bottom of the valley are worth it.

We had such fun picking the wild dogs that grow there. We've been eating them for days. There's a refreshing cold water spring and lovely scenery.
Nice small forest, but there is a lot of pine trees and they block the view, fe found the perfect spot after a lot of searching.
Nice views and entry path to nahal Amud river. There is a nice spring nearby, used by the religious people as "Mikve".

What a great place. Very refreshing meal! We had what seemed like a Lebanese calzone. Absolutely delicious and different. Highly recommend this place in the historic part of town. This gem is nestled amongst corridors of old shops and public dinning areas. Food 7/10 ambience 7/10 noise7/10.
Amazing Yemenite food. At first you think maybe but it’s worth it. It is one of the best options in the area.
The Yemenite crepe is very unique and should be an experience for all.
I heard some complaints. No menu or prices on anything. So here is my take on pricing.
Depending on your toppings it ranges from 30-40 shekel a sandwich. I know that the mozzarella option was 10 shekels cheaper than the goat and sheep milk cheese.
Otherwise best sandwich I had that day.
And the hot sauce is amazing.
I walked by and it smelled incredible! Very unique food that I haven’t had before. Kosher restaurant, it offers takeaway but also has room to sit. Delicious cheese, very delicious, flavorful, and spicy. So good I may want to eat it again tomorrow!
I've been to Tsfat 6 times and only my last visit did I find the yemenite food bar. It's such unique food in an unassuming quaint hole-in-the-wall place. I would recommend anyone in the area stop by for a meal that is hard to find in other cities. I will dream of this food!

The Lahuhe is really good and cost 35 NIS (which is somewhat expensive but worth it). The place looks interesting and everything is freshly prepared just in front of you.

Work here is beautiful and the demonstration of the work is as well. Was here with a large group and they absolutely loved it. Not recommended for more than 40, space gets very tight but great place for gifts and some beautiful glass art.

Sheva Chaya is an amazingly creative talent, gracious, and offers glassblowing demonstrations and classes. Her gallery is nestled in the heart of the Artist's Quarter, with nearby parking, and features memorable creations for sale and safe shipping worldwide.

Sheva Chaya's paintings are full of light and color. We have a few of her artworks in our home and have also given them as wedding gifts. Glass blowing demos are a great way too get to know her and her art and also have a beautiful spiritual message.

There are 2 synagogues of the Arizal, Sfard and Ashkennaz. This one is the Sfard the other in the old city near the art gallery is the Ashkenaz.

Birya Forest is Colonial Israel's biggest human-made forest. But it's built over 6 ethnically cleansed Palestinian villages, with non-native pine trees.

Despite its somewhat elusive location, the cozy ambiance makes it worth the search. The friendly staff may struggle with English, but their eagerness to assist shines through. Visitors rave about the delightful food offerings, including generous portions of Bell-Pepper shakshuka and a delectable cinnamon bun when available.
What a great tasty way to start our morning here at Zefat! Came here on my husband's recommendation and was pleasantly surprised.

It's not easy to find this place tucked in the labyrinth of abandoned rooms which once used to be shops and restaurants. The only hints you get are the signs on the street outside the restaurant.
Although the waiter had a hard time with English, he was kind and eager to help me to make my order.
I couldn’t have imagined enjoing a hot beverage on a hot day, but I actually did. To match the coffee I chose a pistachio cake which was served with strawberry jam. I recommend this place if you’re getting tired of the scorching sun and feel the need to relax
Little oasis in the desert. Very nice food, good portions, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. The shakshuka with aubergine is delicious, ask if you like the egg less cooked, though. Breakfast is tasty and generous.
This place is a cozy little spot with pretty good food, and generous portions.
My personal favorite is their Bell-Pepper shakshuka, and
cinnamon bun (when they have it).
Their coffee ״קפה הפוך״ is some of the best you can get in Tzfat!
Nice place (see photos!) however the cake was a bit too sweety for us, and the service is very slow. But we enjoyed resting there mainly because of the unique rooms...

Very special and pleasant atmosphere, great food. They were a bit busy and understaffed when we were there, but overall it was still one of the best places we visited in Tzfat (Safed).
The food was absolutely delicious, the cappuccino was awesome, our waitress was super sweet and helpful. Will definitely come back here again!

This was our 1st time eating at this fine establishment which is completely Kosher. You have choices of sandwiches or a does it sandwiches or a buffet and the air conditioner is quite comfortable as my followers will know that I love cold air conditioning.
We don't live here in the city but it appears that they have a brisk take out menu for Thursdays and Fridays

I recently visited and ordered a steak, which wasn’t exactly how I wanted it. I didn’t even ask for a replacement—just made a small expression—and before I could say a word, the staff brought me a new one. The replacement was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. I truly appreciated their attentiveness and care for customer satisfaction!
The food here is very good and the waiters are super nice — so many of them, it’s like a whole school of waiters... which is actually precious to see. The only downside is they force a 10% tip. Otherwise, great food and great service.
I was surprised to find a place like that in Tzfat. Kosher, but really tasty. Slow-cooked beef was great, chicken and vegetables soups were delicious as well. The service was very fast and the staff is really helpful and friendly. It’s better to reserve in advance, it gets pretty busy in the end of the week
Best meat meal I’ve had in israel in years! Lovely hostess and great waiter, very simple tables and chairs, decor is deceiving- the food is fresh innovative and portions nice sized. Hope they will open branches all over!
Fantastic restaurant in Safed (area which didn’t seem to have a lot of great options) and we were really glad to have found this place. Amazing meats. We got the ribs which they’re know for, mashed potatoes and green beans (we shared one order which was enough for us). Service was also very good - the waiter took time to explain the menu to us thoroughly and encouraged us to go for what they’re known for, which was the right decision!
Very impressed with this restaurant. They managed to keep everything running smoothly even on a crazy busy night during vacation season. The food is really good. A little bit pricey, but your paying for the hechsher and service.

First time I’m leaving a review and it’s because this place deserves it. It seems that they’ve done everything right; the hummus (simple but delicious), the pita bread (somehow it’s delicious), the chili, their rustic deco and soothing jazz music. All at a very affordable price :) the owners are pleasantly hospitable and served with a smile.

I was expecting better. Prices are high, we got a lot of apologies on missing things we wanted from the menu. The burger was good but the Syrian kebab was very oily and the tahini was just as decoration aside. The place air was too smelly and our clothes were left with heavy smell.
If you’re in Tzfat you will not want to miss this restaurant! Amazing Israeli mixed grill and tons of great appetizers and salads. Atmosphere is nice but homey. True authentic IS food, great staff too!
The place is well decorated and spacious. Several dishes are offered, important to know this is a kosher restaurant. The sandwiches are well served and tasty. Staff is kind and English menu is available. The service can be a bit slow but is reasonable.
We had a lovely lunch at this restaurant today. The place itself very quit , with good not annoying music and has unique look. Service was great , food delivered quickly - all was very good , but the food , food was terrific . No I mean really , really tasty. We came from the Tel Aviv and visited many restaurants in many places , but the dishes here were really tasty. They made this sunny and wonderful day really perfect.

Definitely a real gem in this city. Nice and warm staff and service. Really good food ! The steak was fabulous and I remind you thus is a Kosher restaurant which means they do not use butter. The roast eggplant was devine and the wine section was good although they work with a single winery. Well done !!
