Desert Hot Springs in 3 days

If you only have 3 days to spend in Desert Hot Springs, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Desert Hot Springs is known for its naturally heated mineral spring water, which feeds numerous small inns and spa hotels around town. Set on the edge of the Coachella Valley, it offers wide desert vistas and clear-night stargazing, with views toward Mount San Jacinto and surrounding mountain ranges. The city is a quieter, more low-key base than nearby Palm Springs, while still giving easy access to hiking, golf, and day trips to places like Joshua Tree National Park.
With favorites like Mariscal Cactus & Succulents, Inc., Desert Dunes Golf Club, and Jack in the Box, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Del Taco and Sunshine Café so you can get the best taste of Desert Hot Springs while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Cabot's Pueblo Museum is a historic house museum located in Desert Hot Springs, featuring a 35-room Hopi-style pueblo that showcases an extensive collection of Native American art and artifacts. The museum was hand-built by Cabot Yerxa, an adventurer and artist, in the 1940s. It also houses Yerxa's own artwork, handiwork, and souvenirs from his travels. The site offers a unique cultural experience with its maze-like structure and rich history.
It's really amazing what Cabot was able to do here, starting at nearly 60 years old and by himself! Highly recommend the Audio Self- Guided Tour. Inside, you'll find lots of photographs, artwork, vintage tools, kitchenware, Native American artifacts, and more! Be free to walk around, especially behind the Pueblo, where you'll get a spectacular view of the mountains and valley. Restroom facilities are on site with a water fountain. They also have a nice gift shop. Have fun!
Robert M — Google review
This museum is really neat to go through. Worth it to get the self-guided tour. It's very educational and cool to have a part of the audio per room. The upstairs apartment was beautiful. Walking the grounds was very cool and not boring at all. Plenty to see. Staff was very kind and responsive. Parking was plenty and easy. We highly suggest being able to see and experience some great history of the area.
Jeremy C — Google review
If you like amazing desert oddities then you have come to the right place. Imagine what life was like living in this Pueblo style desert home actually made from found objects in the desert. This is one man’s dream to build his dream castle all alone by himself over many years. Take the self guided tour and be immersed in the story behind Cabot’s Pueblo oddity.
Alan S — Google review
Very interesting structure. Enjoyed the self-guided tour. My favorite room was the apartment that he made for his wife Portia. Happy wife, happy life 😂
Becky C — Google review
Lovely place to experience in Desert Hot springs. The audio tour did not completely work to its full capacity, only inside the house but the tour inside the house is worth it. House was beautiful, the property has nice greenery and the history of the place make this site pretty interesting. It was amazing to see how someone would live and make life in this little place in the desert.
J G — Google review
Great small museum, very unique, beautiful surroundings. All the staff are very welcoming, have your phone ready to use the audio tour. Great art to purchase at the gift shop. Restrooms and parking on the site.
JitkaKac — Google review
Nice spot with rich history. The ticket attendant/slash limited guide was so friendly and helpful. Tickets are relatively affordable, but the price adds up when your party is large. I think it'd $10 per adult. The tour is a self-guided audio tour that you do with your phone. If you have a large party, maybe a Bluetooth speaker will help so that everyone can hear. If you actually have the patience to listen, it's quite amazing how the home was designed, and the attention to detail that went into it. We had some kids with us do they could care less about the history. They were more interested in pointed and asking. That said, a lot of the things here are original pieces (including some falling-apart clothing), so be mindful and watch touchy kids to make sure they don't sit, touch, or go where they shouldn't.
Rafael E — Google review
Really nice piece of history! Amazed it didn’t get pillaged while it was unoccupied and a nice tribute to the builder Cabot and his wife Portia. Nice audio tour and very open to all areas of the Pueblo. Fascinating building. Very cool point of interest. Cheap admission and fun visit.

Lots of vendor and it pretty lively. The track is kinda tricky but it good enough. Grass is amazing and so is the play structure. There are three one for toddlers and the other too for older kids! There is a swing set with one for a baby, one that looks like chair and the rest regular swings. Bathroom are average. Enough seating areas around the track and play area. Lights go out around 9 I believe?
Corazóne — Google review
Its nice they have some lights until 9pm, and bathrooms. However, the bathroom was not open at the time it said the park opened. Making this place kind of a lie to me. I liked this place alot until that happened. Where are the good places in this world?
Trinity W — Google review
If you want to walk while supervising your children play this place is the right place. It's been safe every time we've come. Field is pretty big to take 3 laps around and get 4,000 steps
Christina L — Google review
I love coming here every year for the fireworks and the food truck .you can't go wrong here .the fire works are amazing so many yummy food trucks .the only thing about the food truck was the bbq food truck the sandwich was dry very small sandwich not worth to pay for but the rest were yummy .I would recommend this place for the fireworks and food they also had music
M & — Google review
The best thing about this park is how clean and kept it is. The bad is no restroom access Most people go with their kids and have to leave so they can use the restroom I know its because of covid but most people are smart enough to clean before and after use, give us some credit and besides its obvious that having closed restrooms, restaurants, businesses, wearing masks , self distancing is working according to our government So let us go back to being responsible people and open the restrooms
Carma S — Google review
It’s desert hot springs local soccer park. Like most things out here there are ups and downs. They have fun playgrounds for kids. There are 2 separate play grounds with a big grass area. They have bathrooms however those are a bit dirty. The grass field is overall in good condition there are some spots rougher then others but overall good.
Potato C — Google review
It's a decent park. Gets 3 stars for the jail style bathrooms. No doors. One big urinal . So no privacy at all and it's all stainless steel gotcha watch out for heroin addicts as well in the bathroom shooting up.
James H — Google review
With a newly renovated playground for kids it's a great space. I enjoy jogging around the track but it has uneven areas and metal portruding out in seveal spots with erosion in some areas. I wish they would invest in fixing the track to make a complete loop and install some outdoor exercise stations.

Guy J Tedesco Park is a hidden gem for families traveling with kids. The park offers various amenities, including swings, slides, rock climbing towers, and picnic tables with shaded areas. It's a great place for toddlers to play and make friends while parents can also connect and share parenting advice. The park features a large skate ramp area that adds to the fun atmosphere.
Finding this gem was a refreshing surprise during our travels! The park is larger than it first appears. The park had swings, a few slides, and unique rock climbing towers! There are lots of picnic tables with shade next to the playground. There were a few large grassy areas for dogs to enjoy. The sidewalk went all the way around the park! The large skate ramp park area looked very fun!
Amanda K — Google review
My toddler loves this park more than any other. He’s made friends, perfected walking by himself, learned how to climb stairs, ran with puppies in the grass, watched the skateboarder in awe, and screams in excitement at the different big swing and roller slide. I’ve made friends and gotten great parenting advice. I’ve never seen homeless, drug addicts, or excessive amounts of trash & haven’t used bathrooms, (locked bc of COVID) but found a bullet casing by the slide recently (minus a star).
S D — Google review
Quiet, intimate, and well kept. I'm considering going just to meditate once in a while.
Daniel M — Google review
I've heard it called several things, veterans Day park, roundabout park, and something else I can't remember. Not a lot to talk about, it's configured in a circle of picnic tables (6 or 7), very clean as it rarely gets used. No swings, sandbox, bathrooms, or other amenities. They do have 2 water spigots and they both work. Located on the corner of Palm Dr and Mission Lakes Blvd. Don't do anything illegal cuz you're right out in the open. Avoid going to the underpass as someone is living there, I like going there because they have a descent patch of really thick and lush green grass with clover mixed in, a natural deterrent for ants.. I'll try to remember to snap a couple photos next time I'm over there.
Steven W — Google review
Very small dog park and we got soaked by sprinklers at around 5pm ish when we were there. So we ended up hiking up hill with dogs as quiet and huge, but a steepish hill.
Georgie G — Google review
Playground equipment new, nice skate and BMX park and picnic grass. Basketball courts and community room that can be rented for events.
Russell B — Google review
This park is so peaceful. There is never a bunch of people there at one time. So it's not overcrowded. I like all the grass there is. It's beautiful.
Lori S — Google review
The playground is excellent for kids of all ages. The skate park is well maintained. The grass is well kept. No homeless people sleeping there. The restrooms need a bit of work.

Wardman Park is a great spot for those looking to unwind and enjoy a stress-free day out. With plenty of picnic tables available, it's the perfect place to relax and take in the surroundings. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or simply want to enjoy some time outdoors, Wardman Park has everything you need for a tranquil experience.
This is a sweet little park. It's clean and in a neighborhood that needs things to do for children and adults too. If you think it's bad bc it's in the "hood" or that the people there are "scum" LEAVE. Why are you here? You're not doing anything to make this city better. YOU ARE THE PROBLEM. Bye!

Grew up here. 1st HR 1st K pitching little league 70s! Has a softball field too! Ms. RICHARDSON would be proud! Good job city for keeping it clean and open for the kids. Low pt. Empty BC buildings and pool.

This is a tiny little Park barely noticeable you're very sweet. My dog liked it I wouldn't feel safe here at night possibly. But the afternoon we were there was quite lovely to be in. It's an older Park and seemingly well-maintained. Quite a few homeless and now for the most part not a problem.
Joseph L — Google review
It’s ok, recently looks like it’s not kept up with very few kids on playground. My toddler do 2 slides & baby swings with me & he loves it. Ballpark frequented with visitors & great place to fly a kite. Beautiful shaded large grassy area with a nice, clean (unvisited) dog park.
S D — Google review
Despite living in the "hood" called Desert Hot Springs, this park is a nice, clean, small park. Families who take their little family members here, are just as devoted to making their kids happy. I've had positive experiences at this park. Just simply mind your business and everyone else does too. Until the children begin playing and that's a big smile.

Fast food restaurant
Del Taco is a popular fast-food chain known for its Mexican fare like tacos, burritos, and quesadillas, as well as breakfast options. It's often considered a reliable choice for quick protein fixes. While some customers find it predictable, others have had exceptional experiences at certain locations. Cleanliness and customer service can vary by store, but some patrons have encountered friendly staff members like Melanie while others have noted issues with restroom access and perceived rudeness from employees.
Karina took my order and she was the best person. She have pretty good skills on customer service. I never been in del taco with social services and not from this city but was the best
Miguel P — Google review
This was our first time at Del Taco. I can't say I'm impressed. The food was okay I guess. Staff forgot drinks and sauces. The restaurant was more drive thru oriented. We had to park at the back, wade our way to the front where the drive thru was and find our way inside. Soda machine was not in use, so no easy way for a refill
Steven E — Google review
This location is the G.O.A.T. for the DHS people who partake 🍃 It’s fast food so it is what it is. Service is always 100% and the sauce hook up is chefs kiss! Whoever made & bagged my order for grub hub 8/18 I hope your pillow is cool on both sides always, your gas tank is full when running late in the A.M. & next time you go to stater bros there isn’t a line at checkout.
E S — Google review
I do online orders here for pickup sometimes and my order is ALWAYS wrong. Items are ALWAYS missing. Its so frustrating getting home and having to go back. Or even going back in to get the order. The employee gave me a hard time today when they got my order wrong and forgot a burrito. Sometimes the drive to Indian canyon is more worth it. They dont get the orders wrong ever. Update from 06-29-25 they didnt give me one of the quesadillas I ordered. I got home and had to go back and Ashley argued with me saying she put it in the bag. If you put it in the bag I would not have left home to go all the way back. It looks like the Indian canyon store is the way to go from now on.
Mylah W — Google review
The shift leader named Emily seemed very annoyed every time I got up and asked her for something but it is not my fault that items are not displayed out for customers and therefore I have to ask her for Stuff and it's not my fault she didn't hand me a fork with my order so she kept looking at me like she was very annoyed and every time I would say thank you she would just give me a look. Poor customer service.
Cynthia S — Google review
The food was good. No complaints about the food. I don't like this self-order system it's inconvenient. Especially, if you have people waiting for you to finish ordering.
Rosa Q — Google review
Food was good except burritos could be wrapped up a lil bit better. They had friendly staff. But the homeless hanging around outside and in the parking lot made it a lil bit sketchy.
James D — Google review
Absolutely horrible customer service. The night team forgot to bag items from our order and our dasher kept a drink which is no fault to the workers. The lady taking calls was rude and when I arrived I was still charged for some missing items. The worker stated they put items in the bag but when we recieved the bags items were not in the bag.

Nestled in the heart of Desert Hot Springs, Sunshine Café is a delightful culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're stopping by for dinner or breakfast, this charming spot has something to satisfy every palate. Diners rave about the sampler platter and classic potato skins, both praised for their crispy perfection.
Our family has a getaway home down the road and I never knew this place was here until yesterday. My daughters and I wanted something local and old-school. We definitely found it. Super charming little diner, the staff was so nice and it was really clean and the food was great. No complaints!

Good prices, great portions, and delicious food. Purchased day passes for the pools and had lunch at the Sunshine Cafe. We ate at the bar and Marlene took good care of us. Ordered a turkey club with potato salad and a basket of fries, there was plenty for two and everything tasted great. Definitely returning.
Eloy — Google review
We have been here for dinner. We had sampler platter and potato skins. It was D-licious!. I enjoyed the potato skins(classic combo). The sampler platter was crispy as should be. We also decided to try breakfast, and it did NOT disappoint. No pics, I inhaled my pecan waffle with whipped cream, pecan pieces in the batter, and a bit on top, syrup on the side. Biscuits with country gravy, over easy eggs with bacon. Guess if i got no pictures and post a review. You bet it was goooo'ood!. It was gone before I knew it. This place you have to try out!

Best kept secret in Desert Hot Springs... best food, prices, employees bar none. Vege nachos really good, salad, baked potatoes, Arnold Palmer drinks.
Chaffee C — Google review
It's dated, but looks remodeled. Friendly staff. Great service! Oriental chicken salad was tasty and good. Chicken was a little dry however. Fish and Chips were excellent! Fish fried to perfection. Fries were also fried perfect and seasoned perfect! Fast service. Iced tea was not fresh brewed and alright. Overall a nice lunch. Portions were decent size.
Bill S — Google review
I enjoyed the Chicken Fried Steak for breakfast, accompanied by a side of pancake. The pancake was exceptionally fluffy and flavorful, and the chicken fried steak was perfectly cooked. Consistently, the food here meets a true 5-star standard, both in taste and presentation.
Abraham P — Google review
Although I ordered take out, I really loved the place. They didn’t mess up my order and the food was really good. The server that took my order was also very nice and recommended me different types of food. The place looks a bit old; however, it was well maintained.
Pyro L — Google review
Absolutely amazing!! Shoutout to Eddie(y) for his fantastic table service. You can normally predict how good the overall service would be (yes even how good the food will be) based on the initial energy brought by the waiter. He was charismatic and courteous. Every waiter usually asks if you would like to start off which drinks, to which we ordered orange juice. Without questioning or asking, he speedily brought us our drinks as well as - WATER!!!! Its the little things like this kind of special attention that a customer like myself, truly enjoys and makes the experience that much more enjoyable. The food was AMAZING!!!! It was calm and had a vintage ambiance. I think I probably lived a different life in the '30s - '50s because places like this just bring out the life and happiness in me.

Fast food restaurant
Taco Bell is a popular fast-food chain known for its Mexican-inspired menu featuring items like tacos, quesadillas, and nachos. Despite being relatively new in some areas, it has quickly gained popularity as one of the limited fast food options available. Customers appreciate the familiar taste of Taco Bell's offerings and generally find the staff to be friendly and accommodating. While there may be occasional hiccups with orders, such as missing sauce, overall it remains a convenient choice for a quick bite.
LOVE this place! I'm not a big fan of Mexican food OR fast food for that matter, but recently had the opportunity to try the steak Chalupa Supreme (and what happened to those street Chalupas? They must have seasonal but they were delish too!) The Chaluoas and those heavenly donut bites.. you cannot go wrong stopping here for breakie. I even downloaded the app and got free food options about my 3rd visit. PLUS, the workers at the window in the morning are always so pleasant here in our Desert Hot Springs restaurant. Nice jib, Team. Quiero Taco Bell! 🌮

Yes, It's cheap but the food is pretty ordinary. The staff were friendly enough and the food arrived quickly but you definitely get what you pay for. The premises could have been cleaner too. There was a grifter with baby stroller trying to clean the desk in exchange for some food. Nice outside seating area. The view was on the drive thru and an uncultivated land.

I was hungry it was about afternoon time so my lunchbox I order was great. I made it in time for the classic original crunch wrap & double decker and enjoyed it. The staff were young crowd so couldn't expect to highly on customer service but they got order correctly.

I always hesitate ordering from here because every time I do I always get my order wrong or they give me someone else’s order. The last time I had enough of it and went to get my order corrected and the manager there, idk if she’s the manager or not, was either having a bad day or was upset I came to get my order right but she was extremely rude.

I ordered a beef chalupa when I got the meal it was Chicken . My husbands allergic to chicken . I went back to the window to tell them they make a mistake on my order so they pretended to remake it and put in the same chicken tacos that were in my box previously before & I told them again which is the second time they made a mistake on my order in the same night & the cook named angel was cursing loud from from the window about our order even though they are the ones that got it wrong . The third time they made it right but I had to make sure my food wasn’t spit on because they were trying to make it look like it was my fault . I’ll never eat here again lol .

DELISH healthy, fresh food!! So many gluten free and vegetarian options. I had the GF keto quiche and it was truly the best quiche I’ve had in my life. My family got the avo toast and the breakfast burrito- also delish. Alyssa the cafe manager was wonderful and so friendly. It’s such a cute environment — cozy and welcoming. It’s inside the Azure Palm hotel and you can park right out front. Thank you for a lovely experience!!

The food is better than I expected. This place has great healthy options. They have vegetarian choices. One of the spa workers recommended that we order our food online while we were outside enjoying the spa area because the food could take awhile during busy hours. We did that and that was very efficient. Order was easy to place. The ambiance in the cafe is pleasant with many seats available. We decided to eat at the balcony across from the Cafe that had a good overlooking view. The portions were small though. Otherwise I'd give 5 stars. The Chicken Sandwich looked the most filling out of our order. Chicken Sandwich: 4/5 Mushroom Pizza: 4/5 (very small pizza) Orange Immunity: 5/5 (small size)

dined here 3 times already. the staff is very friendly and the food surprisingly good given how healthy they all are. i love the ambience too. it also has a fireplace that’s super cute. the only thing is that afaik, it closes at 7 pm so if i want to have a late dinner i’d have to go elsewhere.

Gorgeous views, unique menu, excellent food!!! The only thing I can say about this place that is not positive is that it it a bit pricey, but also worth it for me because I love trying unique things, like their mushroom drink, or their breakfast quiches! .. And the atmosphere is just astonishing!🤍

Azure Palm Café is a high end cafe and restaurant located within the APHS Resort and Spa in Desert Hot Springs, CA. This cafe has wide selection of coffee and tea. Similarly, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. I came and ordered a Super Green juice and Wild Caught Salmon x green string beans and rice. Food was good and flavorful. Bottled juice (12oz) was okay. Food portion was really small as well as the juice. Prices were expensive. Service was a bit on point. Atmosphere was relaxing. Overall, it’s a decent cafe that provide top notch high end food.

Beautiful resort! Love the pools and hot tubs, and love that there are a lot of activities to do! The people in the community are wonderful too! I would like to express a thank you in particular to Sherry, who helped us with a situation. Her kindness and compassion are an asset to the resort.

Mineral springs in huge array of temperatures makes this a fabulous park. Quiet & far from city life, but easy to drive in if needed. ABSOLUTELY beautiful views & surroundings!

I had the best stay at Sky Valley Resort! Communications leading up to my stay were both consistent and very helpful. Once I arrived, entry to my unit was easy and efficient. It was also very affordable for being a resort. The unit and grounds were clean and very well taken care of. The staff and tenants were all very friendly. The Mountain view’s were stunning! There was even ample activities and events throughout my stay to partake in. For example, the Farmers Market was lovely, as was the delicious produce we bought! The mineral water in the pools and hot tubs was lovely and gave off a very spa like vibe. The resort is about 20 minutes from restaurants and retails stores, but was well worth the drive just for the views alone, but then adding on the feel and vibe of the resort… let’s just say I will absolutely stay again and recommend to everyone I know!

To visit as a vacation spot or a vacay home, this place is a hit with lots of clean pools and gorgeous landscaping! As a year round - I enjoy it. Purchasing year round comes with pros and cons; high loan rate, hidden fees are few (ranger fee 15 a month, mail fee of 12.50 a month, it's 25 to buy the gate sticker for your car), Electric, water, Internet, cable are less than 100 a month, you can be without utilities for days, not updated on utility emergencies, great security, cafe/store that's closed during summer, Maintenance happens all day every day here and without warning, very quiet, stargazing, lovely residents/employees. So it's like any small community. Come visit, check it out, and see for yourself 😊

Sky Valley is an absolutely incredible resort. We stayed at the resort in our fifth-wheel and our RV space was clean and quiet. The resort is pristine, has exceptional amenities, and the employees are very helpful and friendly. My only issue during our stay was with the nearly nonexistent WiFi service.

Pools close at 11pm wish it was open all night like Miracle Hot Springs but the rooms are way better than Miracle. I found the whole resort clean and huge. There are 2 clubhouse with mineral hot spring pools. The clubhouse restrooms got updated and are spacious and easy to shower and change in.

The resort is really well maintained. All the owners of the tiny houses / mobile homes maintain their individual units very well, as well. Everyone I personally ran into was friendly and talkative. About a half an hour drive from Downtown Palm Springs.

Having been here many times because my parents wintered here for 22 years I enjoyed seeing it again. I still have family in the park so it was a great trip to see cousins I hadn't seen in years. The park is kept up and one of the nicest 55 plus parks I've been to. Flowers and lush landscaping showed how well kept the park still is. This is what all 55 plus parks should strive to look like.
Parkplace — Google review
This is a Beautifully kept senior 55+ community. It is a mostly volunteer park and feels like family. The place is kept up very well and during season, there are many activities. Security gates are a big plus! No local shopping or food but only a short 10 min. drive away. Many other surrounding options but this one is highly worth considering. Note, this is a residential community, there is no RV camping here.
Tracey F — Google review
What a great place. Love all the different gardens people do. Lots of fun flowers and plants and fruit trees. Please continue to have lush gardens and plantings. If I could make a observation, almost all the fruit trees need fertilizer for fruit trees. That will take care of the smaller curling yellow leaves. It will also make the trees more Resilient to our hot summers. I would love to see more trees and plantings all over. It already stands out from other parks. I hope this forward thinking continues and florishes

First trip here we rented, fell in love with the park and second trip we bought our own lot.

I stop here every time on my way through. My mom owns a house here and allows me to use it when I go to take pictures at Joshua Tree. This tight close knit community is always welcoming. If I was to retire soon, this is where I'd want to be. The sheer number of citrus fruits that you eat down there that you get from neighbors, the trees grow with the house youre in, and from the corners will boggle your mind. I will warn you that 98 oranges in a four day span will make you sick. If you get a chance, rent a place on the back side where you can watch the sunset against the mountains that circle it.

55 plus park... No pull in public rentals like KOA...must make rental agreements with office and lot owners in advance... Nice older park with lovely green spaces...
Jan M — Google review
Great +55 place to rent or buy park models, or lots for RVs. This park is run and maintained by its volunteer residents, keeping the costs down and the park meticulously clean. The swimming pool is filled with hot mineral water, cooled to a constant 92 degrees F year-round, with two hot tubs at 102 degrees and 104 degrees. There are many activities (minigolf, dances, bingo, hikes, all kinds of lunches and dinners and social events, an impressive library, bocciball, shuffleboard, water volleyball, and more!) Friendly people who do their best to keep the atmosphere conflict free. Highly recommended.

Long Canyon Trailhead

4.2
(17)
Hiking area
Long Canyon Trailhead is a 12-mile trek that connects Desert Hot Springs to Joshua Tree National Park, offering stunning views and a moderate challenge with an ascent of about 1,200 feet. The trail winds through low hills, providing occasional shade and showcasing amazing geological features like bold white and black bands in the sandstone. While not officially open yet as of summer 2020, it's already a great area to explore, although there are no signs to guide you.
Incredibly nice, level trail through a dry canyon. The trail winds through low hills, which occasionally provide a bit of welcome shade. We hiked 3.5 miles in and out. Amazing geological features— the sandstone has bold white and black bands from being pressed & folded long ago by the tectonic plates (see pic). It’s also not a bad idea to take a trash bag with you and bag some trash on the way out. Let’s keep our desert clean! (Unfortunately, some less responsible folks don't clean up their empty shells, bottles & cans).
Bridgette E — Google review
At first I was like “this is boring it’s just a long drive way”…I walked the 2 miles from the main road to the entrance of the canyon on accident lol…very pretty tho…there was someone shooting near the entrance but he did stop when he saw us. My main thing is that because of the shooting I would not bring dogs or people that are sensitive to noise…if you or your kids are sensitive to noise for this trail headphones would be a good idea…
Selena F — Google review
Seems unsafe area. I walked all the way on Long Canyon Road. Along the way, there were shot gun casings. At the parking lot areas, there were even more shot gun casings and hand gun shells. People seem to use this area for target practice regularly. I pushed on and went in farther along the trail. Lots of trash and junk all along the way, otherwise this would be a decent hike. When I finally hiked out back to the parking lot, I heard bullets whizzing by the canyon I just exited. A mom and her kid who were being good stewards were picking fairly fresh bullet casings quickly left the parking lot after the shots. Two cars which came in must have heard more shots and determined that it wasn't a good idea to hike because within five minutes of passing me, they were driving back out.
Pg — Google review
Used to be a fun recreational shooting area for us local people in Desert Hot Springs Many memories with family and friends learning to shoot us responsible shooters would come out here almost every week. The city was completely biased towards us responsible gun owners and pushed blame of the trash litters on all of us. They just kicked us all out. We had no say in anything. People were always going through off-roading in this area way before the city got involved. What they did is turn it into tourists spot. The locals will get less use out of this. Many people I know are upset. We have so many other hiking trails in this city but they had come take this from us its very sad. The normal average person will not do this trail on foot. The only people I ever saw go through there were well built off-road vehicles If anything it's going to be less used by the average local than what it was before this could have been gone about in a whole different manner and still let shooters be out there very sad and disheartening. God bless America Land of the free 👎
Arturo B — Google review
Full disclosure, I'm part of the team helping to construct this trail. As of summer 2020, it's not officially open yet, but it's already a really nice area to explore (just don't expect any signs to guide you). The boundary of Joshua Tree National Park is just a few minutes walk up the canyon (unsigned, but there is a row boulders there to mark it), with interesting plants, animals, and geology beyond. If you are interested in hiking all the way through to Yucca Valley, it's about 9 miles one way without any wandering in between. Most people will probably be more comfortable leaving a car at either end and hiking downhill to do the whole thing.
Colin B — Google review
The city of Desert Hot Springs has done a great job of cleaning up this area. It used to be a scary place to hike due to cars of people day drinking and target shooting. Great place to get out and enjoy the fresh air!
Tanya H — Google review
Cool hike and flat / accessible! There is tons of glass and shell casings. The rocks are fun though!
Tracy G — Google review
Once you actually get on the trail it's very nice, but it is sad just how much garbage is dumped out in that area.

Great RV Resort! Has one of the best staff of any place we have ever stayed. Been here for 5 months and cannot say enough about the service we received any time we had a problem or concern. Resort is very well kept, all amenities are in excellent condition.
Hal A — Google review
Lots of people chose the park for the large dog park area - we did too. Stayed 3 months, despite horrible winds which damaged our RV, because golf was convenient & pool areas were great. Then both our dogs got violently ill one night. Found out later 3 other dogs got sick the SAME NIGHT. $1400 ER vet bills and our male dog died. When we started asking questions about what the workers were spraying we were asked to leave. Don't risk your pets life.

I really enjoyed staying the 2 weeks here. There's no such thing as a stranger. Everyone, staff included is so friendly. They have every amenity you can think of and then some. It's a great location between Palm Springs and Joshua Tree National Park to enjoy both. The area was just very windy while we were there in April.
Becky C — Google review
Spent the winter (7 mo) here. Good accommodations & staff. ( mailbox, Gulf, pool hot tub, small gym, courts, etc ). Very windy at times. Mostly a Canadian hot spot - once there gone you basically have the place to yourself. 55+ gated community clean, friendly, safe and quiet. Shopping a couple minutes away. A part I didn't like was the Saturday night [way too loud music] with the same beat from nearby locals, 7p but normally tappers off at 11p. And no particular reason kids will start doing burnouts in the streets at any hour ( ????) at least once a week.
Doug O — Google review
We spent two months in this park during which both of our dogs became very sick due to the toxic Oleander that is everywhere. This is not the kind of plant you want in a dog friendly park. There are leaves and twigs from the bushes being trimmed, and the winds blow them everywhere. I was told when we left that they know the plants are toxic and I should learn to control my dogs.

I was nervous at first coming here from Vancouver BC for my first time after reading a couple of reviews. This place is amazing. It’s so clean quiet and the people are so friendly and there’s a ton of activities.. I really can’t say enough about this place. I’m here right now and I love it. Thinking about coming back next year. It’s very well kept maintenance workers out all day doing their thing working all day, so friendly and willing to help you.. everyone has their lots all lit up with lights. It’s a beautiful walk in the evening. They have two dog parks. Two hot tubs, and a good size pool very clean. I can’t see enough about this place. I paid 600 US a month very well worth it.
Debbie J — Google review
Stayed a month. This 55+ resort has lots of activities available: golf, pickleball, bocce, pool, hot tubs, gym, organized card games, happy hours, music, etc etc. 99% of the people very super friendly, staff were great, the resort was clean, shower house is a bit dated but clean and everything works, laundry room is great. Our site was a little challenging to get our trailer level as it was on a bit of a slope and it mostly loose gravel with a concrete pad. We had privacy between sites on either side of us but not behind. There are three dog parks at the resort; grassy with a covered seating area for the 2 legged visitors. Grocery stores and other shops just a short drive away, and proximity to Palm Springs, etc is not far. The only thing that we weren’t crazy with is the wind in the area. Don’t put your awning out and leave camp!

Desert Dunes Golf Club, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. in 1989, has been a popular choice for golf enthusiasts in Southern California. The course offers an open layout without the distraction of nearby properties, providing a serene and challenging experience. Surrounded by untouched land, golfers often encounter wildlife such as coyotes, roadrunners, red-tailed hawks, and foxes.
Great Value for a decent course with some hills and natural vegetation unlike your typical flat desert country club style courses.

I was visiting from out of town and had a really enjoyable round here. It was extremely windy but the course was well maintained and the views were amazing. I paid $89 for the round, $45 for rental clubs, and $25 for a ride-along. The rental clubs were brand new and really nice so I felt like that was good value.
Randall P — Google review
Windy beyond being enjoyable. quit after 9 holes. Course was ok... but just missing setup to shelter the wind. Cannot blame the course for the weather, but it is also just built in a spot where wind will almost always be a problem. So pick your spots.. and try to catch it on a good day.
Nate P — Google review
Had an amazing time for my first time at the course. The course was in pretty good shape for the time of year. The greens were super fast as expected. The pin placements were quite harsh on some holes so that made it a bit frustrating but that's golf. The course is quite challenging and for the price , it's a great place to try your luck. Be for warned though, the north side of the highway is as windy as everyone says so be prepared.
Brad W — Google review
If the UK was hot & dry with an occasional monsoon summer. You would think you were somewhere in the British isles playing golf. I guess if you play this course during the Palm Springs winter you can truly feel like you were playing the British Open. This course has seen its fair share of eras. When I was a teenager that couldn't afford to play here. I made it my practice facility. Back then it was a virtual who's who in golf playing there. Then I really didn't play golf all that much for many years. Coming back to the game has brought me back to Desert Dunes. The facility definitely needs some upgrading. BUT THE GOLF COURSE IS PRETTY MUCH THE SAME. Yes it does need help. But for links style course. The state that it's in currently fits the mold. The rough still grabs your clubhead like it did 30 years ago. There might be less of it on some parts of the course but that's ok. And the course design is second to none. This course was master planned. Walking every single green still feel like a pro course. Very firm. Wish I could give another .5 stars. The facilities need help though. WATCH OUT FOR THE WINDS PRIMARILY APRIL INTO MAY & LATE OCTOBER TO NOVEMBER INTO THANKSGIVING I feel very fortunate to have a course like this to play at a true bargain. At the moment(summer season). You can play this course two or three times for the price of local club course or even city course in most parts of the USA. Amazon is coming to town so maybe Bezos & company will buy the course. You never know...
G. L — Google review
Fun course, lots of hills and nice Fairways. Greens are a little rough. But can’t beat it for the price. I’ll come back.
Mark O — Google review
I played a couple of weeks ago here on a very windy, gloomy day, and the course was under manicured. The group spent most the day chasing their ball all over the course. With two more weeks passing since last playing, Desert Dunes was not my course of choice this weekend. However, today the course offered, lush turfs, rolling hills, tightly knitted greens, with dry summer breezes. Often looking for my ball through the day, no fault of the course or those breezes. It was just nice to be engulfed by the Coachella Valley desert landscape.
373 A — Google review
Definitely a blue-collar, budget Palm Springs golf option, but there's nothing wrong with that! A much more au naturel vibe that incorporates the desert environment in a cool way. Pretty cheapo clubhouse, but the course is perfectly fine. Can't beat the afternoon rates, either.

Once again!!!! We order 2 plates enchiladas dinner by phone- when we got there, the cashier was not able to understand what online menu offers with dinners - It says ( all diners comes with : rice and beans and tortillas) ! We didn’t receive the tortillas , cashier called the owner and OWNER didn’t respect HIS own advertisement online!!! We were charged for an order of Flour Tortillas- what we received was a big hug burrito tortilla!!! You guys need serious help! And respect what your advertising says! Other wise is a SCAM!! We gave this restaurant and owner several times the opportunity to accomplish a great service and food quality - but it is IMPOSSIBLE for them ! I would NEVER go back again !!! ———————————————- Definitely Training and hiring a qualified crew is a MUST!! I have more than 25 years of restaurant experience / I’m a Restaurant Consultant and is sad to see how your crew sabotage your restaurant and the treatment your customer are getting from them. To the owner or who may concern This is not the first time my husband and I eat at your place- unfortunately the past 3 times we had a rude cashier and your Manager couldn’t answer or fix any of it. Saying she has no authorization to make it right- We were told last time the owner will take care of us, and unfortunately that did not happen and over charge our order and at the end wasn’t correct. Please take care of your customers and train your crew.

I asked for a custom sandwich, a BLT with no bacon, add cheese and onions, and they made it for me no problem! I also got the zucchini sticks and they were awesome! Nice and crunchy on the outside and warm zucchini with good flavor on the inside along with a side of ranch. Everything was really good and the people were very nice too. They have a pretty extensive menu including burgers, Mexican food, all kinds of salads (even a Greek salad), and breakfast food. The dining room was big and clean and nice and cool inside too. Pho Na 92 is a delightful hidden gem that promises an authentic Vietnamese dining experience. Upon entering, you might not know what to expect, but the delicious food quickly dispels any doubts. The generous portion sizes and reasonable prices make it a fantastic choice for anyone craving pho. Despite having only one staff member on duty, he efficiently served customers while ensuring everyone felt comfortable with friendly conversation.
We were in a pinch of hunger. Spotting this pho restaurant we entered! Solid portions were had for fair prices. A family was dining. They keep this location clean and ample tip was given.

Please, please, please listen if you want to save money. Don't go to this place. If you are thinking about authentic REAL pho, don't go to this place. They sell instant powdered broth pho. I went there with my friends at opening time, and he checked the order multiple times but still got the order wrong. Even more terrible thing is he just replaced the meet in the wrong order but still forgot to take out a MEATBALL and TRIPE so some were still left inside. After leaving, (left most of the food) we just went to McDonald's right across from it. Just go get McDonald's if you want REAL FOOD. c'mon, even McDonald's feels like a real fancy restaurant after visiting this place.

A real Vietnamese flavor restaurant. The number one “House Special” combination pho was perfectly tasty! The soup, beef slice, beef tripe, beef meatball, and even the leaf were all delicious! And I love the egg rolls too. But it took long for serving the food.

This is an honest review!: This place is a hidden treasure. When we walked in, we had no idea what to expect. However, the food is authentic and delicious. The portion sizes are very good and it only costed $15 for each bowl. Fantastic pricing! There was only one gentleman working but he was quick to get our food out and make sure we were comfortable. He had friendly conversation with us and it overall was a very enjoyable experience, both food and service. He is an older gentleman so he obviously won't be very quick with his tasks, but in my opinion he worked very fast. The bad reviews aren't considerate of the fact that he is the only person working; running the cash register, table service, and kitchen by himself. Contrary to other reviews, none of our orders were messed up or incorrect, and everything was as requested! If you have the time, check this place out.

I usually dont give reviews, but after multiple instances my frustration has gotten the better of me. I recently walked out after not receiving a pick order I placed. they said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I showed up 25 minutes after the call because they have a reputation to take FOREVER for food to be ready… only to find out they didn’t know anything about the order (even tho I clearly spoke to the gentleman at the counter on the phone) or have anything written down about it, I was told to wait and they will make it now. After this I just walked out. Terrible service. The food is great! But you’ll wait FOREVER and some when ordering, and that’s if they even remember the order.

Pho was really good don't judge a book by it's cover. At first I thought it was going to be bad because of the recent reviews for this place but when I tried the egg rolls and pho with my mom it turned out to be better than expected. Fast food restaurant
Jack in the Box is a popular fast-food chain that offers a diverse menu featuring burgers, chicken, tacos, and breakfast items. It's a go-to spot for late-night cravings, as evidenced by one satisfied customer who enjoyed their delicious sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit.
Edith is the most professional and pleasant restaurant worker ive come across! I come here frequently and she ALWAYS has a great attitude and is punctual.

Hey, Jack-in-the-box! I liked the part where you guys put 5 slices of swiss cheese on my burger, but can you melt them a little next time? Thanks! And it was even better when we asked the drive-thru gal for a drink holder for our 4 drinks, and she handed us 2 flat pieces of cardboard!!

AUG 1,2025 I took my breakfast jack meal with coffee and a sausage breakfast jack and medium coke home just to find out the coke is not coke. The one breakfast jack has egg shell in the egg and both eggs are over cooked. This is absolutely BS. I called and no I am not driving all the way back there. No ,I won't leave my name so I can come back another time. I won't be back. Whats ironic, I work for JB 50 year ago for $1.67 an hour and we got our orders right. There was no rush hour going on. One car and you still screwed it up. We didn't act like we were doing our customers a favor by taking their order. You suck.
Heidi M — Google review
I have always enjoyed Jack in the Box restaurants. Yet, the view & close proximity to the freeway are about the only things going for this location. The service was terrible and the men’s bathroom was disgusting.
Scott S — Google review
Like so many other reviews, staff is absolutely clueless, crass, impolite, and disrespectful. The counter dude ignores guests placing orders and only focuses on the order monitor while talking only to his surrounding buds. Keep driving customers away and the jobs will disappear as everyone is replaceable. Please no canned response from owner/social media company is necessary as it is your fault that this continues.
WDA — Google review
I’m gonna be honest you can’t trust this Jack-in-the-Box. This is my third time ordering from them whether it’s delivery or in person at the drive-through where my family has gotten sick. Jack-in-the-Box is the only thing we’ve ate in today and my stomach hurts so bad. My kid stomach hurts. It is just terrible. Not only do we get sick every time we eat Jack-in-the-Box when I order for delivery there is always something missing and I’m not talking about just one or two things. You order a family mail from them which they have online on DoorDash that comes with four of everything just for you to only receive no fries or no burgers. The effort at this Jack-in-the-Box is at an all-time low And you guys should shut down until you get it together. I am so upset because I got sick before this time and I figured it was something else because I ate other things in that day. I ordered again today and it’s worse today’s day is June 19, 2025 I will never order from you guys again, and I encourage others to not order from you guys.
Hilda J — Google review
I was on the phone with my husband while he was going back to get me my item that was forgotten to be put in the bag which is not what i’m upset about because it is not the employees fault everyone gets caught up and i heard my husband tell the employee it was all good and made sure the employee didn’t feel bad but as soon as he got to the window the supervisor “ivy” if she gave me her real name was very rude to him and accused him of being rude which is insane since he also works for a drive through and knows how to treat people but unfortunately this supervisor “ivy “ does not know how to talk to people so i went ahead and hung up the phone and called the store to get her name. I’m sure she’s just having a bad night but unfortunately as a supervisor that is not how you handle a situation that was never a situation to begin with so i urge jack in the box to train their supervisors on how to talk to people

Coffee shop
Nestled in the heart of Desert Hot Springs, Desert Crest Coffee Shop is a delightful gem that has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. After years of living nearby, one family finally decided to stop by and were thrilled with their experience. The restaurant offers an impressive array of authentic Mexican dishes, with standout items like huevos rancheros and homemade chips served with fresh guacamole. Diners rave about the generous portions and fair prices, especially when compared to other eateries in the area.
Great food ,good prices and friendly staff,I'll be back.

Great little breakfast place. Tastee food and excellent service.
Daniel R — Google review
Well I got recommended this place by a friend thought we'd stop in and try it today was a little disappointed my friend was telling me how good the prices are here and how big the portions are I really like home fries one of the reasons I went to this place ordered the luxury breakfast that they have which only comes with like four bites of home fries portions are very small for me and my wife to eat breakfast cost $50 was very disappointing in the portion sizes for that price
Matthew A — Google review
Excellent! We love to visit. Definitely get an order of chips and guacamole. They make it ALL fresh, even the chips!
Esther L — Google review
My parents have lived at across the street for almost 10 years and we've never come, until today. So glad we did. I've read that it was ran by other people before, however we were not disappointed. Prices are very fair for what you get. I paid double at another restaurant for food not nearly as good. Mexican breakfast was some of the best. Regardless of other reviews, portions were huge. Will definitely be back!
Kelly S — Google review
I always go for the huevos rancheros at all restaurants and this one was very well-made perfect

Excellent fries & burger. The lettuce, tomatoes & onions were very fresh & crunchy. Best fries I’ve had in a long time! Ambience is nothing special, but the food is worth it

Palm Springs Windmill Tours

Palm Springs Windmill Tours offers an educational and exciting experience for families to learn about wind energy in the Coachella Valley. Located in the windy San Gorgonio Pass just outside Palm Springs, visitors can witness the impressive wind turbines up close and gain valuable insights into renewable energy sources and their role in a sustainable future. The tours provide eye-opening educational resources for families, transforming their understanding of environmental conservation.
Had an awesome time, the sights were beautiful! The tour guides were very welcoming and knowledgeable. Looking forward to coming back soon with some friends.

Many people may have seen windmills while driving on freeways, but many do not know how these electricity generators work. When you allocate just one hour and do the Palm Springs Windmill Guided Tour by Golf Cart, you and your family will learn pretty much all the facts about windmills. For me it was very convenient, educational, fun and exciting to take this tour. After spending two nights at a resort in nearby Desert Hot Springs, I stopped by this place on my way to Downtown Palm Springs. The one hour Guided Golf cart tour of the windmills was well worth every second and every penny spent. Bill, my tour guide, was very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable. After letting me watch a short video about the windmill basics in the office, Bill escorted me outside. I got on a golf cart and went on a drive under the giant windmills. In a very short time I learned everything about the Windmills. Self-driving tours are also offered. But I recommend the personal human touch Guided golf cart tours.
Berge W — Google review
Unless you are in the business this is way over priced for what it is. The most interesting parts are accessible on public roads and armed with Wikipedia you would do just as well. Sorry. The long history of wind in the Coachella valley is interesting but just not worth $75 for four in our own car. It does not take 90 mins either.
David B — Google review
We liked our tour and enjoyed learning about wind turbines and getting up closer to them. We felt the self-drive tour was a bit pricey but we still enjoyed it. After stop 10 keep driving and turn left and go to Windmill Market and buy a Date Shake. They are delicious!!!!!!!
Nadine C — Google review
Every time I would drive by these Windmills on the way to Palm Springs I was always curious to see them up close and learn more. Finally I decided to take a tour and see what it was all about. The tour is $49 for two adults in their car, kids 12 and under are free. Each additional adult in the car is $10 per person. I recommend downloading the ‘Palm Spring Windmill Tours’ app. You will need it to do the tour properly. (They have WiFi at the ‘tour center’ that you can use to download the app as well). Tip: If you only want to take photos of the windmills you can do so outside of the fence (they say that it’s for insurance reasons). If you’re not interested in renewable energy or wind turbines this is a good choice for you because you’ll find the tour quite boring. The tour begins with being checked in at the Tour Center. (We purchased our tickets here as a walk in instead of buying them ahead of time). Here you’ll find some informative signs along the wall as well as watch a 13 minute video about Windmills and renewable energy. After you’re done exploring the Tour Center you can get into your vehicle, open the app and drive around the property. You will drive slowly along a dirt road. We would pull over and listen to the audio guide and then get out and take photos. Definitely loved the ‘date shake’ they recommended we grab after the tour. It was our first ones ever so we’re glad we tried ‘the best’.
Joss — Google review
I really enjoyed the tour with our guide Lyle. He's super cool. Before the tour starts people watch some documentries while waiting for everyone to arrive. Then Lyle gave us an introduction on wind energy, the design and history of wind turbines, and how they generate power. We hop on the bus and touring around the wind farm. It's super windy and we went up all the way to one of the small hills to get a good view. I'm very interested in renewable energy and this tour is a great way to spend my time in the country's most windy place!
Blaze S — Google review
This place was a blast! These mega machine are truly a sight to behold when standing under one! Insight to the past and the stepping stones taken to get them here are amazing to learn about. It's a great guided tour you take in your car but are encouraged to get out, walk around the exhibits and snap some photos. I enjoyed this roadside stop immensely and it forced me to check out You Tube to learn more. Simply amazing. Thank you!
Dick T — Google review
This place is so good and must visit. The person at the visitor center was very very customer obsessed. He made us like special and explained everything. The app is pretty good, wish it had some location triggers. We all loved the windmill and seeing them from so near was a great experience. Never realized that they can be as high as 40 floors building.

This place is an absolute treasure! I love the enormous selection of various cactus and succulents. The size and age of some of the older cactus are incredible. Rogelio was very kind to escort us to the back growing nursery section and there were some real treasures to see back there! The pricing and selection cannot be beat anywhere else in the desert. I wish I had taken pictures of some of the plants there. So many blooms and growth to see.

A place that really forces you in a good way to remember those friends lost in combat during the Vietnam War. My first visit and had my 18 month old son with me today. Once you walk the grounds you don't notice any outside distractions, but you feel this crazy breeze.

This is a small, quaint park at the end of Palm Drive, in Desert Hot Springs. There's not much shade, so I'd suggest visiting at night or in the seasons when the weather's cooler. Very quiet, & calming place. A good place to meditate.

A sweet park, very well cared for by those in the community who get that we do not need to create more war veterans. A few more pieces will help make the complete thought this veterans memorial voices. Needs the statue. Let the kids choose her.

Italian restaurant
Capri Italian Restaurant is a charming dining establishment located within the Miracle Springs Resort, offering a diverse menu featuring both American and Italian classics that are available all day. Although service at Capri may sometimes be leisurely, it boasts experienced servers as well as an attentive and efficient newcomer. While outdoor seating was initially desired but deemed unclean, the interior provided a satisfactory alternative.
Little hidden gem inside the Miracle Spa Resort. Chicken marsala, and lasagna with the Bolognese sauce was delicious. Great suggestion from our amazing waiter Tommy. Wonderful smile and great personality. Cobb Salad and Tiramisu was also super yummy. We will definitely be visiting again. Check it out!
Yasue M — Google review
We really enjoyed our food, and the employees were great! Great Job!
Joanna H — Google review
While visiting Miracle Springs for the day and after a spa service I was quite hungry. Capri is the only on site restaurant at the resort. The service was extremely slow with veteran servers taking their time. 3 tables with 2 waitresses and a bartender. The newbie waitress was very attentive and moved quite fast. Initially I requested to sit outside but the tables were filthy and the waitress took her time to clean it so I sat inside. Ordered the burger and fries the waitress must’ve noticed my frustration, when the meal came, I got an abundance of fries. The meal was hot, delicious and affordable!
Tawny V — Google review
Excellent flavor, totally recommended. Great service from the waiters. Kudos to Tommie for great service, please ask for him, you will feel spoiled.
Ruben A — Google review
Once again. We found a gem. At first it was a little hard to find because it's located in a hotel. But once found we really liked the atmosphere. Staff was also well and clean dressed. Very attentive as well. There is also a full bar and they also have a small but nice weinlist. Mostly American wines but still a pretty decent selection for a low budget. We started out with an appetizer. The combination plate. Mozzarella and zucchini sticks very pretty darn good. I mean, there is only so much a chef can do with them. But let me tell you, they were so good. I usually don't eat alot of onion rings but hey, since the other two were so good I tried them and OMG...they were absolutely amazing....best onion rings I have ever had. I also ordered a side salad which was pretty big and to my surprise it wasn't just the white lettuce roots...it was green, real lettuce...some sort of spring mix...very good....and the homemade blue cheese dressing....once again, absolutely amazing. I was impressed. I always order lasagne because that tells me how good an Italian restaurant really is (when I visit an Italian restaurant for the first time). The lasagne was a 6 out of 10. Don't let that discourage you. The lasagne was still very good. Some bites had too much herb taste and the cheese could be a better quality. Pasta was perfectly aldente. I also didn't like to see chunks of tomatoes in the sauce. That's a big No No in Italian sauces. Skin and seeds have no room in Italian sauces. We also ordered chicken scampi which again was absolutely delicious with the rice we were served. I can't point out how hard it is to find in this town a good restaurant but we did it. Absolutely amazing place to eat. Everything we ordered was very good. And here comes the best part: only $79 for the whole meal that included 2 mimosas and a cocktail. How is this even possible....Cece our waitress was also super attentive, humble and super friendly. Thank you Cece for the amazing service. We can't wait to come back here and try all the other foods they have on the menu. Please go and eat here. You won't be disappointed.
Andy B — Google review
There were a lot of hiccups when we visited, but our waitress made the best of it. Although we waited for over an hour(It wasn't busy at all) for our food, it was pretty mediocre. We were told the chef was working on it and we're just waiting on my dish, but when it arrived it was warm at best. The coconut shrimp was a bit overcooked but I didn't mind as it gave a little more crunch. All in all this place is a decent Italian place. We are going to try their breakfast in the morning. *stay tuned for update*
Ashley — Google review
Finally had a chance to try Capri tonight and we really enjoyed it. Food was okay / good, the service was good, but the best part was the people watching. There were some very unique people coming in and out of the restaurant and it was extremely entertaining. We will definitely be back.

Pizza delivery
Pizza Hut is a well-loved dining destination that caters to all your cravings, whether you're in the mood for a cozy dine-in experience, quick carry-out, or convenient delivery. This iconic chain specializes in delicious pizzas but also offers an array of mouthwatering wings, hearty pasta dishes, and delightful sides and desserts. It's the perfect spot for families and friends to gather over a satisfying meal!
This must be one of the worst and saddest pizza Hut. No menus, we had to go to the website to see the menu. No table service, we had to order at the counter. I needed to sign the receipt (I was using a debit card, so no signature needed) and they expected a tip. For what? So, no tip. The food was way overpriced and their reaction was "welcome to California" (like it's alright then?). The pizzas were just thrown to the table next to us, without saying anything. The pizzas were bland. The barbeque chicken bacon ranch didn't even contain any trace of barbeque sauce. The restaurant was empty, the carpet and floors dirty. The toilets were straight up filthy. This was my first and last time to the pizza Hut and I'm sure I'll never spend almost $100 on 2 pan pizzas and 2 medium pizzas. This was a waste of money and time!
Steven E — Google review
Great story. Please read. I ordered a pizza online. Then the local store called me and said they didn't charge me for the sausage and that I had to pay $7 upon pickup.OK. Got it. Its a 20 minute drive to the Pizza Hut. I got there and had left my wallet on the kitchen table at home. The pizza was paid for except the $7. I'm an old woman but they would NOT give me the pizza. I even asked the manager. He said no that I would have to go home and get my wallet and drive back again if I wanted my pizza and pay the $7. I got super upset but came home and drove back to the store. I lost my cool and yelled at the cashier girl and the manager. All this for $7. When I got home the second time it had taken an hour and fifteen minutes to pick up that pizza. Then, I opened the box and to my amazement there was no sausage on the pizza anyway. Quite a story. Right? VERY BAD MANAGEMENT. THEY SHOULD HAVE GIVEN ME THE PIZZA IN THE FIRST PLACE. what a complete and utter waste of time and energy. I Paid $32 for the pizza in the first place. Good grief...
Sheri P — Google review
A no frills Pizza Hut that we stopped by late at night. There was only one other customer eating in, the rest of the orders were for takeout. We ordered at the counter vs being served at the table. We ordered the cheese sticks and they were way overcooked and disappointing. The individual pan pizzas were good though.
Katie B — Google review
I ordered a personal pan a few days ago, and when I was driving off halfway to work I realized that the pizza looked weird. There was no red sauce on it at all. It looked like Alfredo. It was all creamy, so I called back and they were saying that they could remake it for me, but I couldn’t go back to pick it up. or I would have been late to work, so the guy said to call back on Monday, and he can have a pizza made for free That he would be working there on Monday, so when I called, it was a Girl that answers and I told her about the situation, and then she said, if I took a picture, which, of course I didn’t, and since there’s no type of proof, she was basically denying a free pizza that they owe me Because I didn’t get the managers name that I spoke to, but she can easily look up my last order and see who was working there. This place is trash. Every time I go there. It’s just bad customer service and they clearly don’t care about returning customers. I ordered their pretty frequently. Unfortunately, that’s the closest Pizza Hut that I’m by. But I’m never Going To order From There Again.
Erica A — Google review
OMG, it's like eating cardboard. Worst Pizza ever.

I order on 2 Medium 1-Topping Pizzas, 8 Breaded Boneless Wings, Breadsticks or Cinnamon Sticks and a Dip cup Friday night and both pizzas where wrong my wings where cold and breadsticks where burt. And they didn't bring my right soda. I called and manger said my next order would be on them so I called today for lunch and there giving Mr a hard time telling they won't do what they said

The Windmill Market is one of the best restaurants in Palm Springs, and their date shake is a must-try. The restaurant has a wide selection of food items and groceries, as well as an outdoor seating area that is well protected from the strong winds in the area.
Super friendly staff. Very reasonably priced. We stopped by "on our way" to Palm Springs from LA. The chili cheese dog hit the spot after a long drive, but the date shake is the star of the show. It's thick and creamy, and there are real chunks of dates in it. We've tried several date shakes in the area and this one is by far our favorite! In the back there is a really cute garden with shaded seating. It's a great spot to stretch your legs and feels like a little oasis in the hot desert!

Everyone loved the date shakes - my sandwich was ok but the guys liked there's. The dates were amazing and the atmosphere was very California desert. Highly reccomend- it was packed on a Monday late afternoon w no signs of slowing. Prices were excellent! This place was highly recommended and it didn't disappoint. Out of the way local hidden gem.

After reading many good reviews, we decided to try their date shake, and it was absolutely worth it! The shake was flavorful and delicious, living up to the hype. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next day. This place is definitely a must-visit, and we look forward to coming back again in the future

The food was amazing absolutely finger licking good. Service was worse than a gas station cashier, the girl had an attitude and didn't even crack a smile. The man wasnt the worst but if he would have taken a few seconds to pay attention to us and what we where asking, we wouldnt have left with a banana split that wasnt with the flavors my husband wanted. The market was adorable and had little trinkets and random things. The place was nice and cool. If the people there would have just taken a second and maybe smiled and listened then I would have given them 5 stars. Until 2 younger workers showed up service was bad. Try the food if you dont mind the service, my pregnant self was very much satisfied in that aspect.

Best date shake ever! Freshly made and you can taste real date! They also have tacos, sandwiches and ice cream too. The price is really reasonable and everything is made fresh on the spot. The staff is super kind you get that homey neighborhood store vibe . They also have a little eating area in the backyard of the store for you to eat and relax. A true hidden gem in the Palm Springs area and I always come here when I pass by.

Date milkshake snob… This is where I have had the best so far. Really… perfection. Ice cream, dates and milk. I tried hard to find something to criticize. Just a little out of the way but worth the drive. I was happy with the medium.

Hooolyyy Cow, GREAT food! We heard about the weekly Friday Lasagna and Spaghetti special from a friend who is an excellent cook. She said the lasagna is the BEST she’s ever had and she is so right!!! Lasagna came with bread, meatballs and sausage all for $12! The spaghetti with the same sides was only $10! The car smelled incredible on the way home, the service was lovely, the portions were big and we will be back soon!
