Spiaggia della Biodola - Portoferraio (li) is a stunning beach resort that offers easy access to a picturesque coastline with golden, fine sand and pure turquoise water. This destination is perfect for those seeking a romantic sunset view or a peaceful getaway to chill and watch the sun go down. The beach also features an amazing bar where visitors can enjoy refreshing drinks while taking in the beautiful scenery.
Clear waters, perfect for snorkeling.. a clean beach with white sands and a decent place for families with all necessary facilities
Abdullah S — Google review
Sady beach with a lot paid sunbeds and sunscreens. Limited places for sand laying. Parking on the slope - sideroads. Paid parking 15€ a day, 12€ from 13.30. many bar options.
Ivan J — Google review
Amazing beach! Our favourite on Elba, highly recommend to spend your day here! Snorkelling is fantastic as well.
Alona B — Google review
Great beach. White sand and easy to go into the water. Standing is possible for 10-15 meters and there are also various opportunities such as banana or sofa rides. Most spots are occupied by sunbeds from hotels or to purchase. Only trouble is parking and spots for your own umbrella
Moritz K — Google review
A destination for a romantic sunset view or a quiet getaway to chill and watch the sunset, along with a brilliant beach bar 🍸🍹
Stacey P — Google review
Nice sandy beach with good terrace/ restaurant and beautiful view. Beach is excellent for children, you can walk in to the see for like 50 meters.
Martijn B — Google review
Maybe it's because it's August, but too crowded, high prices, and the sea wasn't as good as the pics
Alberto C — Google review
It is an excellent beach to spend holidays. Though too many people gather specially during July and August, you can still have your space as it covers huge area. The sea is excellent. Views are great. Perfect place for a change.

Spiaggia della Lamaia

4.3
(311)
Spiaggia della Lamaia is a secluded beach located at the end of a small cove, accessible only by foot. It can be reached via the "sentiero della salute" from Procchio to Biodola, passing through two lesser-known coves, Porticciolo and Lamaia. The area is praised for its tranquility and relatively low number of visitors compared to other beaches in the region. The walk offers stunning views and opportunities for snorkeling.
Must visiting!
Andrea K — Google review
There is a beautiful little walk from the beach is Biodola to Lamaia beach (sentiero della salute). The views are incredible!!!! The beach is small but really great, the water isn't as clear as the other beaches in the area , at least closer to the shore, once you get a bit further out the water is superbly clear and there are so many fish to see.
Renata R — Google review
(Translated by Google) It is accessed from Biodola beach via the health path. Easy passage, with a part in the tunnels dug into the rock. Beach with natural deposits of poseidonia, crystal clear and warm waters. Unfortunately when I was there (July 26th) the water was infested with jellyfish, it was only possible to swim early in the morning. Many boats, as in all coves, good parking availability on the road to access the Biodola beach. Worth seeing.

(Translated by Google) Beach a little abandoned to itself... but worth a look, very beautiful small and large quartz pebble beach... I wouldn't stop here if not for a swim... I would use it as a half hour walk from Biodola and then go back.. Be careful that on Google Maps if you set this beach it takes you to a dirt path suitable only for SUVs and it is not worth it.. if you want to come here start from Biodola. there is a splendid path in the middle of a cave (Original) Spiaggia un po' abbandonata a se stessa...ma merita un' occhiata, spiaggia di ciotoli quarzati piccoli e grandi molto belli .. non farei sosta qui se non per un bagno.. la sfrutterei come camminata di mezzo oretta da fare da Biodola e poi tornare indietro..

(Translated by Google) We loved the place, both the walk and the swimming, few people compared to the beach in the village of Biadola! Not seen any plastic compared to what I had read (maybe it has been cleaned. Be careful, apart from the hotels which have almost the entire beach, there are few restaurants accessible to day tourists. (Translated by Google) Wild and relatively isolated beach, personally the most beautiful on the island. The beach can be easily reached from the neighboring Biodola beach via a dream route, passing the cave and then running along the sea through the undergrowth. Be careful because the route from the cave is open from 8am to 7pm and is closed if the sea is too rough (there is a section which takes you along steps and if the sea is rough the waves overflow onto the route). The beach doesn't have any type of service and it's really very windy, having said that it's worth experiencing it in all its wild essence. Absolutely not to be missed 🤙🏼 (Original) Spiaggia selvaggia e relativamente isolata, personalmente la più bella dell'isola.

(Translated by Google) Arriving in Biodola, you can go along the health path to this beautiful cove. You have to walk along a stretch of beach and then take the path; it is slightly rocky but can also be walked on with sandals. Quiet place where you can swim in peace. Great for taking breathtaking photos. It is also recommended for seeing excellent sunsets. Small beach but with few people. Many tourists travel this path but without stopping. The water is clean and clear. Small fish can be seen. Be careful of dinghies which sometimes come ashore. Luogo tranquillo dove poter nuotare in tranquillità. Attenzione a gommoni i quali talvolta arrivano a riva.

Spiaggetta del Porticciolo is a hidden gem that invites you to escape the hustle and bustle of more crowded beaches. Nestled along a scenic health path from Biodola beach, this small stretch of sand—about 100 meters long—is perfect for those seeking tranquility. The beach features a mix of soft sand, pebbles, and remnants of posidonia, creating an inviting yet natural atmosphere.
(Translated by Google) We went on a Saturday and got there from the Sentiero della Salute which starts from Procchio. Nestled in the charming Procchio area of Isola d'Elba, Pizzeria Su e Giù is a must-visit for pizza lovers. This delightful eatery specializes in authentic Italian pizzas crafted with a thin crust and topped with fresh ingredients, all baked to perfection in a traditional stone oven at around 320 degrees Celsius. The inviting atmosphere on the quaint street leading to the beach adds to its appeal, making it an ideal spot for both locals and tourists alike.

The Pauline Beach offers breathtaking views and a crystal clear sea, making it truly fantastic. However, parking can be a challenge as there is no dedicated spot, so parking along the main road is advised. To avoid fines, make sure to park on the side of the road opposite the white lines. Despite being small in size, both the concession and free side of the beach provide a peaceful and clean environment for visitors.
Spent a wonderful morning here, hired two chairs and an umbrella for 30€. The beach was very quiet early in the morning and became busier as the day went on but remained very relaxed and low key. Can buy coffees and drinks at the bar. Water is crystal clear, pebbly on the shore but sandy a few metres from the shore line.

Beautiful cove with a cool beach bar playing the Smiths and the Police
Margaret J — Google review
You'll never tell how such a widely accessible place can be so breath taking. Crystal clear sea is fantastic ( like almost every other place on the Island). The issue you will be facing again is where to park your vehicle as there isn't a dedicated parking spot, so...along the main road is how to do it. Make sure you are on the other side of the white lines to avoid unnecessary FPN's. The beach is really small ( both the concession and the free side). The Paolina Island is about 75 meters away from the beach which it makes a perfect beginner's swimming distance. If you decide to try it, maybe arrive a bit early in the morning, definitely before 10.00am. Small shack for quick snack on site. Enjoy your day.
Marco M — Google review
Excellent and accessible beach with mostly pebbles/rocks rather than sand (swimming shoes recommended). As others have pointed out, manned by a very active and vigilant but nice café manager/lifeguard. Clear and quite clean water compared to for an example Spiaggia della Feniccia in Marciana Marina. Parking on the nearby main road was straightforward and available a sunday in late June. Big plus for the Pink Floyd music played. Beats the average techno and latino rubbish played elsewhere hands down.
Erik D — Google review
A very wonderful beach, to be honest, with a very nice landscape view coming from the Paolina little rocky island, that makes this place to perfect to make great photos or just relax. It is half sandy and half Rocky, but I would still suggest good shoes if you have kids. The entrance is served by good stairs next to the parking lot, which is a simple line on the right side of the street. The beach is, however, very narrow due to the bar that occupies two thirds of the little sand available, this is not no acceptable. For this reason it is not so rcommended during crowded seasons or Sundays. Showers and WC available in place.
Noemi G — Google review
A small but stunning beach. The trail down can be challenging with loose gravel but a lovely beach. You can swim to the island or enjoy a coffee at th beach bar.

Spiaggia di Procchio, located in Marina di Campo, is a 1 km long beach divided into three sections. The first section is the largest and offers sandy shores along with restaurants and services. The second section features a mix of sand and small pebbles, providing calm waters suitable for children. The third section is the smallest and offers a tranquil environment with gentle waves. Visitors can enjoy various public areas, clean water, and stunning scenery at this popular beach destination.
Nice big sandy beach! Not worse than Cavoli, if you want more space and some waves- it's perfect!
Elena S — Google review
The water is murky, with a greenish tint and a greasy film floating on the surface. It looks polluted and unappealing, making it hard to enjoy swimming or relaxing by the shore :( I recommend the beach in Pomonte; it's great for snorkeling.

Green green green water… Beautiful sand and well served beach A nice amount of free beach too. Sea is not nice. Fluorescent green color 😔 i was relying on reviews talking about beautiful clean sea at Elba island, so far i just saw one so so spot and two terribile green. The island itself is very charming and has great vibe but sea is far from nice and clean, unfortunately. And the prices of hotels restaurants and the rest is as you were at Bora Bora… Don’t waste time and money if you’re looking for nice waters. If you’re up for hiking n camping yes.
Katarina P — Google review
This is a 1 km long Beach divided in three, the first one is the bigger and it's covered in sand, here you can find restaurants and services. Next is a smaller beach covered in sand and small pebbles, here water is calmer and it's perfect for small children, you can find one of the best lunch restaurants there called la Guardiola. Last is the smaller beach, it's the calmest both in noise and waves. The water here is the cleanest but there are lot of poseidonia, a water plant, so if you're scared I don't recommend coming here. Overall the beach is well furnished with all types of services ranging from tennis courts to pedaló and canoes.

Spiaggia di Spartaia is a charming little beach nestled in a stunning cove, surrounded by rocky cliffs adorned with the island's lush vegetation. This picturesque spot features fine sand and vibrant colors that create an inviting atmosphere for sunbathers.
