Shopping mall
Genting Highlands Premium Outlets is a sprawling outdoor shopping center featuring well-known outlet stores and a diverse food court. It's a family-friendly attraction with colorful flower gardens, fruit orchards, and various activities like the Genting Bowl, Snow World, and Rio Float. Visitors can also explore Resort World Genting with its casinos and theme parks for endless entertainment. The place offers something for everyone, including kids' attractions like CoComelon and KidZania.
We dropped by at the Premium Outlets to scout for some sport shoes & casual shorts before proceeding to check into Grand Ion Delemen Hotel. Almost all designer brands for sportswear, fashion & accessories, and watches are available. You'll be spoilt for choice. Most outlets will offer some discount in one way or another to attract the crowd. We're surprised that today is "crowd free". As we were in a hurry we managed to buy some shorts. As for shoes, we couldn't decide on the many offers! Perhaps in our next trip. The scenery from here is breathtaking. You can see the cable car passing by. The Pagoda of the Chin Swee Caves Temple is also visible at a far distant. So beautiful on today's cloudy weather! We're looking forward to drop by at the temple on our way home.

Genting Highlands Outlets is a great shopping destination. Unlike a typical mall this is designed as a street with near pavements. The weather is great for walking around. The destination is in multiple levels, most of brands are there with amazing offers. There are also food counters. Overall a must visit place when you are in Genting.

Cool breeze, and retail therapy with a view. Genting Highlands Premium Outlets never disappoints. Plenty of brands, decent cafés, and way cooler than city outlets. Best to come early or late afternoon for that mountain chill
Virna A — Google review
Escape to the Clouds ☁️ Trading city heat for mountain mist at Genting Premium Outlets. There's something magical about sipping coffee while fog rolls through jungle-covered peaks—retail therapy with a view hits different when you're surrounded by all this green. The perfect pit stop when KL gets too humid. Cool air, misty mountains, and that satisfying feeling of finding a good deal. Sometimes the best getaways are just an hour up the hill. 📍 Genting Premium Outlets, Malaysia

Great price for shopping.. We went all out to shop here. Place a re nice, weather are kept changing. Cool but sun is scorching. A must when you visit Genting highland in Malaysia.

This is at the base of genting highlands where busses n taxi cars are available. Mall had good offers when we went . More than 100 shops are there. Good Food options available. Rope way is from this place only - Alana avenue
Praveen C — Google review
Great outlet mall experience in the cool highlands! Lots of premium brands like Coach, Nike, and Michael Kors with decent discounts, especially during sales. The open-air layout is refreshing and scenic—great for a stroll. Gets very crowded on weekends, so weekdays are better. Food court is okay but nothing fancy. Easy to reach via cable car, but getting a Grab back can be tricky—plan ahead. Worth a visit if you’re in Genting!

This shopping outlet is one of the largest in Malaysia. It has many brand names stores covering fashion, luxury, sports, food and many more. You can see shoppers from all countries who came here to shop. The price can be attractive if there were promotion.

The Genting Highlands Premium Outlets Cable Car, also known as the Awana Skyway, is a gondola lift system that connects the Chin Swee Caves Temple and the Genting Highlands hill resort. It offers a breathtaking journey through the clouds, providing spectacular mountain views and an opportunity to soar above the jungle canopy. Visitors can explore various attractions in Genting Highlands without spending much, including First World Plaza, Chin Swee Cave Temple, and Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm.
The Genting Highlands Cable Car ride is an absolute must-do experience in Malaysia! The journey offers breathtaking panoramic views of the lush rainforest and rolling hills below. The cabins are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with options for glass-floor gondolas that make the ride even more thrilling. It’s a smooth and scenic trip that adds a magical touch to visiting Genting. Efficiently operated with minimal waiting time, this cable car ride is not just a mode of transport—it’s part of the adventure. Perfect for families, couples, and tourists alike.
Hussain 1 — Google review
I went with my family on a weekend, and as expected there was a huge crowd. Luckily, I had purchased the express ticket online, which saved us a lot of time since we could directly board without standing in the long queues. For regular tickets, the waiting time was really high. The cable car ride itself takes about 5 minutes, but the experience was completely worth it. The views from above were simply breathtaking lush green mountains, cool breeze, and the feeling of gliding above the clouds. Since this was my first time on a cable car, it felt extra special and memorable. Overall, a smooth, scenic, and enjoyable ride for the whole family. Definitely worth the money paid, especially if you choose the express ticket option on busy days.
Maruthi P — Google review
We visited on an October weekend, which is the off-season, so the crowd was comparatively less. We purchased our tickets at the venue instead of online — the price was about Rs. 50 less per person, not a huge difference, but at least it wasn’t more expensive. However, it’s better to buy tickets in advance if you’re visiting during the peak tourist season, typically from November to June. The return trip was quite packed, as most visitors leave around 6 PM when the outdoor theme park closes. The queue moved quickly, though it still took about 40 minutes to get to the cable car. Overall, the system was efficiently managed and offered great value at a very reasonable cost of RM 19 for a two-way journey (around ₹395).
Jayashree A — Google review
The Awana SkyWay cable car is one of the best ways to reach Genting Highlands! 🚠 The ride is smooth, scenic, and comfortable, offering breathtaking views of the rainforest and mountains. The glass-floor gondola is definitely worth trying if you want an even more amazing experience. The queue can get long during weekends and holidays, but it moves quite fast. The staff are helpful and organized, making the boarding process easy. The mid-station stop at Chin Swee Temple is a nice touch — you can get off, explore the beautiful temple, and continue your journey up. Everything is well-maintained, and the ticket prices are reasonable considering the views and convenience. Overall, a must-do attraction when visiting Genting Highlands!

🚠 Awana SkyWay – The Most Scenic Ride to Genting Highlands 🌤️ The Awana SkyWay was honestly one of the highlights of our Genting trip! 😍 It’s not just transportation — it’s a full-on experience with the most breathtaking views of the mountains and rainforest below. 🌄 The Ride The cable car ride is smooth and peaceful, taking about 10 minutes from the Awana Station up to the Genting Highlands. The scenery along the way is absolutely stunning — lush green hills, misty clouds, and the cool mountain breeze. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the temples and waterfalls below! 🛍️ Convenience The station is connected to Awana SkyCentral, where you’ll find shops, food outlets, and access to Genting Premium Outlet — perfect for a shopping + adventure combo. The line moves fast, and tickets are easy to buy at the counter or vending machines. 💡 Tips • Go early morning or sunset for the best views 🌅 • Bring a light jacket — it gets chilly up there! 🧥 • Keep your phone/camera ready for those cloud shots ☁️ ⭐ Overall Rating: 10/10 Awana SkyWay is the perfect mix of scenic, smooth, and fun — a must-try for anyone visiting Genting Highlands. It’s more than just a ride; it’s a memory with a view 💕

Wonderful Escape to Genteng Heights! My visit to Genteng Heights was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refreshing getaway. The weather was incredibly pleasant—cool, crisp, and a perfect break from the city heat. It made walking around and enjoying the scenery so relaxing.

The place was very crowded with people going to Genting Highlands but managed to buy ticket in 20mins. Due to the huge crowd of 200-300 people waiting in queue, I decided to spend an extra 6 Ringgit each and purchased the express boarding ticket at RM17 each. Then I proceeded to the express boarding lane, effectively "jumped queue" over the huge crowd of a few hundred people and board a cable car with my buddy in less than 5mins. Ride was smooth and plenty of sightseeing. The climb uphill is very steep and I think it more exhilarating if it's on the way down. It's nice cable ride and seeing everything engulfed by clouds is nice. Price is affordable at RM 17 for one trip. I take it for once the experience and likely will not do so again in future.

Farms
Nestled in the mesmerizing hill town of Genting Highlands, Genting Strawberry Leisure Farms offers a vibrant and colorful experience for visitors. The farm allows guests to handpick their own strawberries or purchase pre-packed ones, surrounded by picturesque strawberry-themed decor that provides plenty of photo opportunities. In addition to strawberries, the farm features lavender fields, a mushroom farm, a bee farm, and various other fruits and vegetables.
For the entrance fee RM20 adult and RM15 kids, I think this place is worth visiting. For those from KL, it is nearer to come here than heading to Cameron Highlands. Free parking on the roadside. With shopping stalls and eateries overall this place is enjoyable, and they have decent toilets. Especially those who love flowers. Come early when the temperature is not hot. Felt the heat when noon heat strikes. Picking strawberries was sure fun. If they were to offer selling plants like strawberry or grape, I sure will be interested. Like the fact they don't pressure you to buy stuff or take photos.
Cara C — Google review
Entrance fee RM20 per adult. Worth the visit for ppl who love nature and plants. Well maintain nursery and fresh strawberries pick at RM8 per 100g. Staff were very friendly too.
Ammimajus A — Google review
The entrance fee for me is quite expensive. rm 20 for adults. kinda not worth it for me because there aren't many fun activities to do here. Can only see the flower field. When going to a strawberry farm, there are not many red and large strawberries. but you can still pick it at the price of rm8/gram. There is also a small cafe to enjoy drinks and snacks, a honey shop and a gift shop. There is a service for photographers to take pictures as memories in front of the flower field. To me this is just a normal strawberry and flower field and doesn't really appeal to me. In addition, staff and workers need to be trained to be more friendly especially at the counter selling souvenirs or Cameron tea.
Rsya R — Google review
Ticket price is slightly expensive to me, RM20 for adult and 15 for kids, and this is only for seeing the flowers. If you want anything extra like picking strawberry need to pay separately. A family of 4 will cost 70 just like that. The farm is big and Flower wise there are a few varieties and only that few varieties in the whole farm. The varieties keep repeating in different part of the farm. If you decided to pluck strawberry, the price today was 80/kg. They sold packed strawberry too but I’m not sure if they are from their own farm or not. They also sell honey, lavender made stuff like lotion, perfume, air freshener etc. there’s a cafe and many other stalls along the way near the end of the exit. All in all, not a bad place and if the price could be cheaper it will be better.
Kelly C — Google review
Its a beautiful place if you love the flora and fauna because all you see here is flowers, plants and strawberry farms. The best part is picking your own fresh strawberries which you can purchase. The entrance ticket for this park is a bit expensive according to me, but the experience is good, specially if you are interested in taking pictures. There are also 2 photo booths, where they take family pictures as well as pictures with chinese or local costumes. Some small shops selling coffee, perfume, honey, strawberries and food stall is available.
Sukanya S — Google review
We spent a lovely day in this beautiful place surrounded by blooming flowers and fresh strawberries. The entrance fee is RM15 per person. The best part is we get to pick the strawberries by ourselves for RM8 per 100g. If you get a bit thirsty or even hungry from strolling around, you can stop by their cafe. Their food and beverages have decent taste and price as well. The only downside is that most strawberries we picked have worms inside. It was a lot of waste because we ended up throwing half of them.
Danah P — Google review
A must stop if you go to Genting Highland. Reasonable entrance fee. Enjoy the experience of picking your own strawberries. The strawberries are quite small although they are red and taste a bit sour. There are also grapes imported from the USA and other countries for sale. So many places for OOTD and takes pictures. Come early when it opens to avoid crowds. Highly recommended to come.

Genting Strawberry Leisure Farms at GohTong Jaya. The flower farm is very beautiful and colourful, ideal for those who enjoy taking photos. You can pluck strawberries for RM8 per 100gm or buy pre-packed ones. Thankfully, we were able to pick some strawberries this time. There are fewer crowds today.

Located in the picturesque Genting Highlands at an elevation of 4,600 feet, Chin Swee Caves Temple is a sprawling Buddhist complex spread across 28 acres. The temple houses a striking black statue of Reverend Master Chin Swee, known for his reputed supernatural abilities. Visitors from various countries flock to this site to pay their respects. This awe-inspiring temple was completed in 1994 and features a nine-storey pagoda and a monumental lotus-seated Buddha.
Chin Swee Temple in Genting Highlands is one of the most breathtaking attractions in Malaysia, combining spiritual charm with spectacular natural surroundings. Perched high on the mountain, the temple offers panoramic views that are simply unforgettable. When we visited, the misty and foggy mountain air created a mystical atmosphere, making the experience feel almost otherworldly. The temple complex is beautifully designed, blending traditional Chinese architecture with modern construction that ensures comfort and accessibility for visitors. One of the highlights is reaching the temple via the Genting Skyway cable car. The ride itself is an adventure, gliding above lush forests and steep valleys before arriving at the temple grounds. The aerial views were stunning and set the tone perfectly for the visit. Stepping off the cable car, we were greeted with serene courtyards, intricate statues, and peaceful prayer halls that invite both reflection and admiration. Walking around the temple, every corner felt photogenic, from the towering pagoda to the statues depicting Buddhist teachings. The cool mountain breeze and shifting fog added a layer of calm and beauty, making it a place where you could easily spend hours soaking in the atmosphere. Chin Swee Temple is not only a spiritual landmark but also an architectural and cultural treasure. For anyone visiting Genting Highlands, it is an absolute must-see.

Such a peaceful and breathtaking spot in Genting Highlands! 🌿✨ The temple is surrounded by misty mountains, giving it a magical and calming atmosphere. The view from here is absolutely stunning, and every corner feels sacred and serene. Perfect place to take photos, relax, and reflect before heading up to the top of Genting. Don’t miss the pagoda and the giant Buddha statue — truly beautiful! 🙏💛

A must-visit gem in Genting Highlands! Chin Swee Caves Temple is one of the most peaceful and scenic spots in the highlands. The temple sits high up the mountain, surrounded by mist and lush greenery, giving it a calm and spiritual atmosphere. The traditional Chinese architecture, colorful pagoda, and intricate statues are absolutely beautiful — perfect for photos and reflection. Entry is free, and you can easily reach the temple via the Awana SkyWay cable car, which stops right at the temple level. There’s a small café and a few stalls nearby, but the main attraction is the view — especially when the clouds clear and you can see the valleys below. Do wear comfortable shoes and bring a light jacket, as it can get quite chilly and there are several stairs to climb. It’s a wonderful place for both tourists and those seeking a quiet moment of peace. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Genting!

This place is very scenic. We visited the place after getting down from the cable car in between. Since they have escalators to go this place it was very convenient. Beautiful surrounding. You have limited options of snacks and ice creams in case you want to try one. Overall a wonderful experience and you can visit this place for free in case you are travelling on the cable car to Genting.

A peaceful and serene retreat above the clouds - the atmosphere is calm with a magnificent open floor overlooking a grand Buddha statue that inspires quiet reflection. The temple’s intricate architecture and scenic mountain backdrop make it a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty of nature. There are also convenient kiosks and probably a small restaurant nearby.

Must visit. Very Cool temple with an authentic vibe. On the way to genting highlands. Some guides may discourage telling that the return cable cars may be full. But it is possible to get seats. We had to wait only 5-10 mins to get a cable car with enough seating on the return trip. Try to visit in evening so that you get the cool breeze. Lots of cool pathways to explore on the mountain side, as part of the journey to enlightemnment walkway. Highly photogenic areas. Breathtaking views.

One of the most peaceful and beautiful places in Malaysia! I’ve visited Chin Swee Caves Temple many times — the drive up is always amazing, with cool weather and stunning mountain views. This is such a beautiful and peaceful place surrounded by nature—perfect for a relaxing escape from the busy city. The atmosphere is calm and refreshing, especially with the cool mountain air. There are a few small shops around where you can grab a hot drink, which feels amazing in the chilly weather. The temple itself is well-maintained, always clean, and you can see that regular repairs and care are done to preserve its beauty and spiritual atmosphere. Whether you're coming for the cultural experience, the scenery, or just to take a peaceful walk, this place is definitely worth visiting. Without a doubt, if I return to Malaysia again as a tourist, this will be one of the top places on my list to visit. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys nature, culture, and a calm spiritual vibe.

It’s my first time eating such a fancy vegetarian. The taste blew my mind away all taste really good especially the apple soup and the chef’s recommendation the fried oyster mushroom.Nil kidding it taste better than meat and the yam is also nice with unique plating as per picture. The fried cereal prawn have a Q texture upon biting which is really yummy to me personally.

Totally vegetarian. Apologetically they told us that the stuffed mushrooms contained egg, which was fine with us The only thing was that we asked for the soup to be served, and they served the stuffed mushrooms first. Lots of profuse Apologies for the mix up, not a problem for us Did not miss non veg. The soup was subtly flavoured and exquisite. Packed with mushrooms and root. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Ditto for the mushrooms. Well plated and delicious Slightly expensive, but we found the experience well worth it. Lovely view too Endorse it

Clean, spacious indoor dining area with plenty of vegetarian dishes. The waiters here is friendly, attentive and helpful. We went there at after lunchtime, so not much crowd. Dishes serves promptly. Curry vegetable: not spicy and personally I think the gravy is abit watery Gyoza : Pan fried nicely and the Filling is good too The best dishes are chai pok sha cha sauce fish & luo han zai. Dishes that can be skipped so that you can save more stomach : the roti canal with dal curry and clear daily soup

Efficient & Friendly Service Patrons appreciate the fast, attentive service—even during busy times. Staff get praise for their helpful attitude, despite high customer traffic. Top Negatives 1. Crowded During Peak Hours With seating for 50+, the outlet is still often full, especially midday or weekends, creating a noisy, bustling environment. 2. Inconsistent Sides Quality A few reviewers noted that items like soup, veggies, or side snacks could be too salty or overly sweet, with occasional misses in consistency. #tcrs #gpo

Came to this chicken rice shop on Thursday around 8:30–9 PM. It was nice and quiet, so really comfortable to sit and enjoy the meal. The food was served promptly and tasted really delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend this place!

Actually, I have often seen this outlet in several malls in KL, I thought they were selling crispy chicken, but it turns out their specialty is Hainanese rice. - I ordered their wonton soup and Hainanese rice. For me, this is comfort food, especially for food in a mall, but the taste is just ordinary and there is no special impression. - I feel the service is quite bad, the waiter is a bit rude especially when delivering the dishes. - In the Hainanese set order, there was a dessert left behind. So it was only delivered when it was served, in my opinion it should have been delivered at the same time.

Simple, hearty, and comforting as always. Warm chicken rice with fragrant soup, tender meat, and their signature chili sauce never miss! Perfect stop before heading back down the hill.

I went here on 1st July 2025. The restaurant was not crowded, not many customers. I ordered Prime Honey BBQ Chicken but it tasted so bad and the colours were so weird. I asked the staff why is the colour like that and he didn’t say anything. I’ve had CRS since I was a kid so I know what it should look like. Even the chicken soup was super salty. The only good thing was the soya milk I had.

The service here is unlikeable. The waitress didn’t attend us when we tried to ask for something. They also only give us 1 sos cili (the sambal one) for 5 person. When we asked for another one, they just walked away. We don’t even know if we can refill by ourself. Please improve your service. The food also a bit cold. I know the weather here is cold but i’m pretty sure it wont get cold that fast, isn’t it?

Normally I would eat TCHS at Johor or KL but eating it here at Genting was a first. The location of this particular outlet has a good view of the surrounding hills and resorts world Awana. On top of the cooling weather, eating here is a much more pleasant experience than other outlets. Food was good, slightly tastier than the other outlets, however the drumstick we got had quite a few bones inside it. The meat was still tender nonetheless. The kueh pie tee was nice as well. The soup tasted better here. The tables and chairs are quite clean, the staff were courteous, and the restaurant looks well maintained. When I went there on a Thursday evening, not a lot of people were there. Tables were easily found. Anyone looking for chicken rice in Genting should eat here.

Ali, Muthu & Ah Hock Kopitiams is a Malaysian restaurant located at Genting Highlands Premium Outlets. The eatery offers authentic Malay, Indian, and Chinese cuisine with a stunning view. While some visitors were disappointed with the food quality, others praised the fragrant nasi lemak and the ability to customize their orders through QR codes. Despite long waiting times and sold-out items during peak hours, the pleasant ambiance and helpful staff made for an enjoyable dining experience.
Stopped by Ali, Muthu & Ah Hock at Genting Premium Outlet for lunch. The crispy fried chicken nasi lemak was amazing! Portions were generous and the sambal had just the right amount of spice. Definitely one of the more affordable options at GPO. Will be back!

My first experience at Ali, Mutual & Ah Hock. Good food, with right portion and pricing despite it being up at Genting Highlands Premium outlets. I ordered the Hainan Chicken Chop (nice sauce, just a bit too much onions) and Nasi Ayam Goreng( the chicken drumstick was cold, it wouldbeing better it heated up!). Overall the food is okay The Total bill for Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng, Hainan Chicken Chop with 2 drinks rm47.10.

Came here with my kakis and we were blown away by the flavors. The gravy was so rich and the texture was just perfect—sedap giler! Portion was generous enough to share. Will definitely balik lagi for more. Service was fast and the place was clean. Highly recommend!

First time coming to this branch and it shall not be the last. While other restaurants are still close, this outlet are open and ready to receive customers. Not only their food were delicious, the service and efficiency deserve compliment. Not to say about their pricing. It was well priced than others. Take a look at the pics. I highly recommend this restaurant especially their Fried Chicken Nasi Lemak and Roti Jala set. To the staffs good good. Keep it up.
Hart T — Google review
The chicken in the noodles was rotten, and the fish balls were cold in the center—they were served undercooked. Additionally, there was no English menu, only Malay, which I couldn’t understand, so I had to order based solely on the pictures. The service was basically non-existent. Maybe since it’s in an outlet mall, they don’t worry about lacking customers. Anyway, I’ll definitely never come back.

Came here plenty times. Asked male waiter the menu, but he too busy to give us any. The female waiter sent us menu with crumpled printed out code for order, not bothered. Some food tasted bland, mostly Ok. Roti jala and kari ayam cold. I guess the store too busy and not bothered about what the customers think about them.

Harry Ramsden @ SkyAvenue Genting Highlands is a delightful branch of the iconic fish and chip restaurant chain, celebrated for its authentic British pub fare. Nestled in the vibrant SkyAvenue, this eatery invites you to savor classic dishes like cod and haddock fish and chips, complemented by perfectly double-cooked chips that maintain their crunch. With a legacy rooted in quality, Harry Ramsden's promises an unforgettable dining experience amidst the stunning backdrop of Genting Highlands.
Tried the famous fish and chips at Harry Ramsden and it did not disappoint. The fish was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Absolutely delicious. The restaurant had a great atmosphere with a warm, inviting ambiance. Service was very good—staff were friendly and attentive throughout. The only minor drawback was the seating, which felt a bit dated. But overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Would definitely come back for the food.

The food was good. The ambience was excellent. The service was exceptional ! As I was trying to use a RM$200 voucher, my server Mr Mun took the trouble to help me plan a sumptuous dinner, as close to the budget as possible. He introduced the items on the menu, asked about my preferences and made useful recommendations. I had a wonderful experience. Will definitely come back again !

We had such an amazing experience at The Laughing Fish by Harry Ramsden in Genting! The food was absolutely delicious!! We ordered their famous fish and chips and a ribeye steak, both cooked perfectly and full of flavour! 😋 A huge shoutout to Azman, who provided exceptional service throughout our visit. It was my partner’s birthday, and Azman went above and beyond to make it extra special! He even gave me a subtle signal so I could record the surprise when he brought out the brownie cake with a candle, and he personally lit it and sang a birthday song for my partner! Such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture!! 💯 Thank you so much, Azman, for making our visit so memorable! Highly recommend stopping by this restaurant when you’re at Genting SkyAvenue! Great food, great service, and wonderful people! 🎉

They initially forgot our starter, but once reminded, it was quickly served. We ordered the large portion of cod fish — decent enough to share between two light eaters. Service was polite but noticeably slow, especially considering the place wasn’t busy. Pricing felt steep: RM135 for just half a tower, when a full tower at nearby stalls goes for around RM145. The value here doesn’t quite match up.

Celebrated my birthday here and had high expectations of the food. It definitely didn’t disappoint. Ordered the Haddock fish & chips, Ribeye steak, signature lemonade and brownie. The service from Azman was amazing as well where he brought the brownie with a candle and sang happy birthday while setting down the brownie on the table. It was a memorable one for me and my fiancée. Would come back here again!

We wanted to order the regular-sized cod fish, but it was sold out, so we went with the large portion (around 200g) as recommended by the staff. The fish was fresh and not oily. We also added a potato soup, which tasted nice, especially when dipped with the toast. Overall, it was an average meal, nothing particularly special.

It's already past lunch time after checking at our hotel. Thus we decided on a light lunch (to save for our dinner) 😊👌We selected the Harry's Double Delights set to share out. The fish and chips really lived up to its name. The fish was very soft & well fried. Both fish fillet & chips were not oily. The set came with a delicious cake as dessert to wrap up our meal. Happy with our choice & looking forward to our dinner. 👍👍👍

Shopping
SkyAvenue, a modern mall that opened in 2017, is a lifestyle destination located in Genting Highlands. It offers an array of upscale stores, a cinema, kids' attractions, and numerous restaurants and bars. The mall houses popular brands such as Adidas, H&M, Omega, Rado, Swarovski, Coach, Charles & Keith and more on its second and third levels. Additionally, visitors can find various snack stores to indulge in.
SkyAvenue is an amazing place to spend the day in Genting Highlands. The mall is huge, modern, and full of energy, with so many shops, restaurants, and entertainment options under one roof. The atmosphere is lively, and the cool mountain weather makes walking around even more enjoyable. I loved the variety of food choices — from local favorites to international brands. Everything is clean and well-maintained, and the staff in most stores are friendly. A great spot for shopping, dining, and just relaxing with friends or family

SkyAvenue is a very polished, modern mall-/entertainment complex with a lot of appeal. It does a great job blending shopping, dining & spectacle, especially for people who want more than just a shopping trip. It’s especially fun in the evening, when lights, music, and the show add atmosphere. But it’s not ideal if you want tranquility, small crowds, or budget-friendly casual visits.

I would say this is the most interesting place to walk or dine within genting. It’s pretty new and huge, linked to first world and genting indoor theme park. Visitors also take cable car from the top floor. It consists of luxury brand shopping from Tory Burch to clothes shopping to lots of big brands f&b eateries. Also the casino here is the biggest among the rest. The crowd here is 24/7, anytime anywhere you will see people around specially weekends.

Our visit to Genting Highlands with Skyline Holidays was packed with excitement and discovery. We started the day with a scenic cable car ride through the misty rainforest. It felt like we were floating through the clouds. At the top we explored the large indoor mall, which was full of shops, food, and attractions. My girls rode several of the rides and had so much fun. One of the biggest surprises of the day was when we sampled Chinese pork bacon. It was smoky, savory, and incredibly tasty. We ended up buying a whole kilo to take with us, and our girls loved it so much they finished it within a day. It became one of their favorite snacks of the entire trip. The mall was lively and had something for everyone, from games and rides to delicious treats and great shopping. It was a perfect place to spend a family afternoon. Before heading back down, we also visited a beautiful Chinese temple tucked into the mountainside. That peaceful experience deserves its own review. Genting Highlands offered a wonderful mix of fun, food, and culture for the whole family. A must visit if you're traveling with kids.

A perfect spot for shopping, dining, and entertainment all in one place. Highly recommended.

Tasteful color scheme, layout and decor. Stars-like led with sparkling and flickering fluorescence. Iridescent toilets with waterfall urinals and tempered glass. Sections catering to different age groups. Casino for adults, carnival for children. And restaurants for the obese(joke). Very vibrant and dopamine-inducing. Considerably affordable compared to futuristic bazaars but proportionally extravagant to common Malaysia lifestyle and malls. Convenient to go with numerous modes of transport offered. Instated rules and regulations are strictly enforced. Epilepsy warning due to many flickering and colourful lights, overwhelming for eustress individuals, occasional fire-alarm ringing. Overall, an above par plaza with no observable flaws

**Final Nonya Colours at Sky Avenue 😋** A great morning kicks off with a simple yet tasty breakfast. Whenever we take a short trip to Genting Highlands, we always relish a delightful meal that includes toasted bread, soft-boiled eggs, and Nasi Lemak. Nonya Colours, an authentic food stall situated at Sky Avenue, is our preferred destination for this traditional Malaysian dish. Nasi Lemak, which is rooted in Malay cuisine, features fragrant rice cooked with coconut milk and Pandan leaves. Alongside Nasi Lemak, they offer an assortment of traditional Malaysian Kuih that are popular among locals. Some crowd favourites include Kuih Bingka Ubi, Pulut Inti, Curry Puffs, Kuih Seri Muka, and many others. In the picture, my friend Kumar is on the left. We've been friends for five years, and he hails from Bangladesh, where he has been employed for 13 years. I admire his commitment and enthusiasm for his work. Whenever we organize a trip to Genting Highlands, we always make sure to have our breakfast at this spot known for its affordable prices and friendly staff, who offer outstanding service to the patrons. We enjoy their services! PS: Meet our new friend Rubel, a nice and warm person. He is also from Bangladesh! See the attached photo. He is on the right side with Kumar. Visitors can also explore colorful flower gardens and fruit displays while enjoying traditional artifacts and handicrafts like Japanese dolls, figurines, hats, purses, and home decor products.
Firstly, I just want to say that it is connected to two malls. Try to spend two days here and I guarantee you will miss it. You can buy everything here. Do not worried about supplies. My favorite plaza so far cos I love the cold weather in here 😆 Lots of good memories in here including waiting for taxis in the middle of the night, it was still pretty safe. Definitely will go back cos I haven't tried all the foods in here 🤍 Tried few but everything was so tasty. But the plaza is too big, it was a bit confusing to get out as there's no shortcut in here 😩

Youngsters and children sure will love this place. So many things to explore here. Eateries, entertainment, outdoor or indoor theme park, brands outlet and more. What's on your list? 😄 We spent a memorable evening with the band here at Arena of Stars - Air Supply. This isn't the only place to enjoy your day in this area. The restaurants here don't accept reservations during weekend, long queue though. Delicious dishes served here in so many different types of restaurants. If you bring your children along, then choose those with kid's menu. Since Christmas is around the corner, it has a pleasant, happy ambience. Cheerful atmosphere with all the Christmas decorations everywhere. Recommended! You will sure spend a fun-filled day here. Food: Delicious Price: Above average with service charge & 6% SST at most restaurants) Service: Friendly Cleanliness: 4 stars (except for its carpark toilets) Parking: use Touch ‘n Go to park at basement. Note: stay alert, slow and safe when you are diving downhill. Road closure at mid hill opposite of GohTong memorial park, 2 lanes became one. (updated on 18 Dec 2022)

Nestled within a 45,000 square feet atrium, the Arena of Stars is a renowned venue for lively musical performances. This amphitheater has hosted legendary artists such as Lionel Richie, Deep Purple, and Olivia Newton-John. Originally an open-air structure, it has since been enclosed due to Genting's weather conditions. Boasting state-of-the-art sound and light systems, this auditorium can accommodate up to 6,000 spectators.
Really enjoyed Tolti’s concert at Arena of Stars! The big screen visuals were clear and well-done, and the sound quality was great , not too loud, just nice. The area temperature was also super comfortable, not too cold and not hot at all. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable concert experience!

Went here for a Toto Concert. The capacity is huge, clean, the sound system is great and the service is also very satisfying. The marshall is very helpful guiding you until you find your seat. The hall area is easy to navigate. But the light system could be improvised. The hall condition looks poor considering the brand and standard that this place holds. I'm expecting a new condition hall but a lot of improvement and refurbishment needs to be done. Sorry to say. By its standard, it should be far away better.

Arena of Stars is one of Malaysia’s most iconic indoor concert venues, known for its excellent acoustics, comfortable seating, and lively atmosphere. Located in the cool climate of Genting Highlands, the venue regularly hosts international artists, comedy shows, award nights, and cultural performances, making it a prime entertainment hub for visitors. The Arena of Stars in Genting Highlands is truly one of the best concert venues in Malaysia. I attended the “Violet Skies: Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza, Live in Arena of Stars” concert in July 2025, and the overall experience was excellent. The event management and organizers did a great job in handling the large crowd. Instructions were clear and helpful, with ushers stationed at every corner of the venue. They were attentive and approachable, making it easy for concert-goers to navigate and feel assured throughout the event. The event flow was well-coordinated, ensuring everything went smoothly without unnecessary confusion. In terms of the venue itself, the comfort level is high, and the sound quality is excellent, crisp and immersive, unlike what you might experience in other lower-quality venues. The seating arrangement also provides good visibility, making it a pleasant experience no matter where you sit. As for parking, there are multiple complexes available. Some are conveniently close to the venue, while others require a short walk. Either way, parking is ample and the rates are affordable, which is definitely a plus. Overall, Arena of Stars is a top-notch concert venue, well-managed, comfortable, and backed by solid facilities. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a world-class performance in Genting Highlands.

Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park is a fun and colorful place for both kids and adults, with plenty of rides, games, and attractions all under one roof. It’s lively, well-maintained, and perfect for spending a few hours with family. The best part is that it’s surrounded by a huge variety of food outlets, so you’ll never run out of options to eat and relax in between rides. One thing to note—this mall is massive, and it’s very easy to get lost inside, so always keep track of your way back, especially if you’re with kids. What a rubbish experience. The wait times are ridiculously long, and the so-called unlimited rides pass is absolutely not worth it especially for kids age group 3 to 5 yo. It costs 97 RM, and for what? You’re honestly better off paying per ride: 16 RM for adventure rides and 22 RM for thrill rides. With the insane queues, you can barely squeeze in about six rides in a day anyway, which is more than enough for the whole day. And the worst part? Kids’ rides **require an accompanying adult, which is a complete waste of money because the adult doesn’t even want the ride they’re just forced to go on it. Many rides are under upgrade works or closed. To top it all off, they actually sell an “unlimited rides” pass for 3-year-olds, yet there are only couple of rides available for that age group. Seriously? What a horrible, frustrating, and misleading experience from start to finish.

The place has a great atmosphere with colourful lights and lots of rides. It’s lively and fun, and there are rides for both thrill lovers and kids. A nice spot to enjoy and spend time indoors.

Frozen yogurt shop
llaollao is a popular frozen yogurt shop in Spain which specializes in sweet and less caloric desserts. The yummy mango and strawberry sauce on their Yoghurt taste surprising but can be too sweet for some.
Had Laollao yesterday at SkyAvenue Genting and as always it hit the spot! I absolutely love this brand. No matter where I am, Laollao never disappoints. The yogurt is fresh, the toppings are generous, and the taste is just perfect every time. So glad they have outlets everywhere it’s definitely one of my all-time faves! Highly recommend for anyone who needs a sweet, refreshing treat while enjoying the cool Genting weather. 😍

Last week I went there on Tuesday to buy frozen yogurt. I chose the medium size, which is i can pick three flavours. I picked something like “Nochella” (I’m not really sure of the name) and the others Two is , black chocolate, and lotus Biscoff. But I don’t think the staff was even listening, because he gave me pistachio instead of lotus Biscoff. So I asked him, I said I requested those three flavours, but you gave me pistachio instead. And he just gave me this rude, arrogant look, then added the lotus Biscoff. Not even a “thank you” or anything. Then I asked for the receipt, and again, he made a face! Is this seriously how you treat your customers?? Your staff really needs to be taught how to be decent and have some manners. If you don’t want to work, then just stay home instead of being rude to customers! Btw the staff is a guy and i dont remember his name. #penatberhentikerjaje

As I reach the cashier , I asked this guy in the picture “ Abang , nk lg satu sudu blh ke ? And his response was so rude like “ lain kali kau kena beli ehh with annoyed face reaction “ I was like what ? Hello excuse me I can buy , I have no problem paying for it but you should atleast say it in nice way ! We are paying for the food and this is how u respond to us ? And even I asked him “ huh ? “ and he still give me the same answer with an angry face reaction . you guys should trained him more in customer service ! Date: 27 July 2025, 8:37 PM Location: Llaollao, Genting SkyAvenue Staff: Muhammad I had a very unpleasant and frightening experience at this outlet. One of the caramel sauces we were served was hard like stone. Another staff member kindly suggested we could another bowl caramel as an add-on. But when we tried to do so, the staff named Muhammad reacted very rudely. He raised his voice, glared at me, and threatened me by saying, “Now you want or not?!” in a very aggressive tone. I felt shocked and scared. When I said no, he smashed the Llaollao into the rubbish bin in front of us in an extremely disrespectful and unprofessional way. This kind of behavior is unacceptable for any customer service setting. I hope the management will take this complaint seriously and provide proper training to ensure no one else experiences this kind of intimidation again.

Buffet restaurant
Restaurant
Start your day at The Food Factory, a buffet-style restaurant located at Genting Highlands Premium Outlets. This spacious eatery offers a wide array of halal dishes, including both local and international cuisines. With its modern and chic ambiance, it's the perfect spot for a relaxed dining experience.
The Food Factory offers a delightful breakfast buffet experience. A diverse spread featuring fresh fruits, pastries, and hot dishes are sure to satisfy every craving. The exceptional quality of each dish, attentive service, and a commitment to cleanliness make it a top-notch experience. Eager to return for another round of culinary indulgence at this impressive buffet spot.
Dr. T — Google review
The breakfast buffet at Foodfactory in Genting Highlands, priced at RM$42. While there are a lot of seats available was decent. However I must admit that the overall experience didn't quite justify the cost. The quality of the food didn't align with the price; some of the options lacked flavor and freshness, leaving much to be desired. Considering the amount paid, I expected a higher standard of taste and presentation. On a positive note, the cleaning staff were exceptional. They were prompt in clearing tables and maintaining a clean environment, which contributed to a pleasant atmosphere during the meal. In conclusion, although the cleaning staff deserve credit for their efficiency and the variety of food was diverse, the cost of RM$42 for the breakfast buffet didn't match the overall quality of the food. Some improvements in the culinary department would make the experience more satisfying for diners.

Buffet breakfast starting from 6.30am to 10.30am. Discounted price can be bought during self check in kiosk for only Rm30 per pax. Variety of local breakfast served. Overall the food are ok. Taste so so. Nothing special about it though. It’s spacious. Can accommodate for more than 100 peoples with ease. Quite cooling too.

When we were at the entrance of the Food Factory, there were like gantries at the entrance of the Food Factory. The staff were very polite and friendly too and service was top notch. The food is sort of decent and the two consecutive days I was there eating, I was slightly disappointed when the food was the same as the day before. Furthermore, all food served is all Asian, so don't expect any western food. Variety is decent also. The cleanliness can definitely be improved especially the male's toilet as there was a smell of cigarette smoke. Much of the seats were section off, and it gave us the feeling we were in a canteen, and it was very crowded. Not a bad place to have breakfast.

Only restaurant at first world hotel serving buffet breakfast. It is a huge canteen n buffet spreads are duplicated back to back in the dinning area. The staff cleared the tables quickly n the peak hours are around 8am. The foods are of standard range but their nasi lemak w sambal chilli seems to be best.

We dine here for breakfast only when it's complimentary with our room booking, For RM 42 / RM 21 Per pax for Adults and kids respectively, this average buffet is certainly not worth the price. Variety of food certainly, but the standard of food is average at best. Ample dining area for a hotel of this guest capacity. Service of staff, in regard to the clearing of used cutlery is attentive. Staff at the entrance counter are courteous. Get's very hectic when overseas tour groups come in to dine and can be a big turn off when these diners exhibit uncouthly behaviour when getting their food.

This well-stocked haven offers an impressive array of groceries, from fresh produce and snacks to beverages and household essentials. Affordable tasty sweet treats at this mart. The Portuguese tarts, chocolate white tarts, and chicken curry puffs were all recommended. We stumbled upon the Belgian Noir at a discounted price and to our surprise - it was superb! 😋😋😋😋😋😋 Most importantly, Genting Rewards are accepted here 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Serving as a convenient one-stop destination, the well-stocked grocer caters to both visitors and residents in Genting Highlands, providing essential supplies and groceries at high altitude.

A very well stock up grocer. You get all the grocer you can think of. They even have ready to go hot and cold food section. Cakes are also available. Ready cuts fruit section is available if you are worry about the lack of vitamin C consumption. There are also very small section of fresh vegetables and eggs. A very unique corner of souvenirs selection. For non muslim, there is also a non halal section right at the back selling alcohol and pork canned food. Literally all you need and those that you never think of, of course it’s at a higher price since after all here is still a tourist spot.

Restaurant
Burger & Lobster Genting, located in the high-altitude setting of Genting Highlands, offers a delectable dining experience for seafood enthusiasts. The restaurant is known for its fresh Atlantic Lobsters and tantalizing Chilli Lobster dish. Despite long queues, the exceptional service and outstanding dishes make it worth the visit. The menu features options like whole lobsters, lobster rolls with chips and salad, and a divine lobster sandwich.
We had an amazing time at Burger & Lobster Genting! The lobsters were absolutely delicious – fresh, juicy, and cooked to perfection. A little tip: don’t make the mistake of thinking one lobster is enough to share. It may look big, but it’s just right for one person, so definitely order individually. Every lobster dish we tried was outstanding, and the burger was also fantastic. The quality of the food, presentation, and flavors really made the experience memorable. We spent about RM1129 (around SGD343) for our group – definitely on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it for the quality and experience. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Genting!

I finally had the chance to bring my family to dine at Burger & Lobster in Sky Avenue Genting, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. We ordered two grilled lobsters and burgers, and both were outstanding. The grilled lobster was fresh, juicy, and perfectly charred, with a smoky aroma that paired beautifully with the rich lemon butter sauce. The burgers were equally impressive — thick, juicy patties full of flavor, served with crispy golden fries. Both dishes truly lived up to the restaurant’s reputation. What really stood out, besides the food, was the service. A big shout-out to our waiter, Puvin, who made the evening even better. He was attentive, friendly, and very professional, always checking in without being intrusive. His recommendations and warm personality left a really positive impression, making us feel well taken care of despite the busy crowd. Overall, Burger & Lobster at Sky Avenue Genting is a must-visit. Great food, lively atmosphere, and top-notch service — especially thanks to Puvin. Definitely a place I’d return to.

We had our team building dinner here and I coordinated everything beforehand with Amir via email. Although it was almost impossible to communicate with their staffs by phone, the entire arrangement with Amir was incredibly smooth. He was helpful, informative, and very efficient throughout the planning. On the day itself, the restaurant was packed, but Amir still made sure every one of our orders was correct and personally checked in on us throughout the night. His team was just as impressive—despite us ordering around 60 items in total, the food came out fast. I don’t think we waited more than 10–15 minutes for anything. Everything arrived hot and fresh, not pre-made or cold. The main dishes were delicious across the board, but the real star was the espresso semifreddo. It reminded me of tiramisu, but with a hint of sea salt and a bit of crunch (not sure what it was, but it worked perfectly). Hands down the best dessert I’ve ever had! We’d love to come back for our next team dinner—budget permitting!

Unmatched Hospitality & Exceptional Service – A Memorable Experience Service and the best waiter I've seen Mr PUVIN I recently had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant, and I felt genuinely compelled to share the remarkable service experience provided by Puvin. His level of professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality is something that truly stands out in today’s dining scene. From the moment we were seated, it was clear that Puvin possesses a rare combination of skill, confidence, and personality that immediately puts guests at ease. He greeted us with a sincere smile — not the kind done out of obligation, but one that reflects authentic passion for his work and respect for every guest who walks through the door. As he guided us through the menu, his communication was calm, clear, and reassuring. His ability to explain dishes with precision, offer thoughtful recommendations, and understand our preferences showed not only knowledge but also emotional intelligence. He listens carefully, responds with patience, and carries himself with a gentle professionalism that feels genuine and effortless. Under his recommendations, we enjoyed an outstanding selection of dishes: the XO Lobsters, the Beat Burger, Truffle Fries, Lobster Croquette, Soy Butter Prawns, the Classic Whole Lobster served with their signature Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce, the hearty Surf and Turf, and the Classic Lobster Roll. Every dish arrived beautifully timed, and it was clear he coordinated everything with precision. Throughout the meal, his personality shined even more. ✔️ He knows how to read the table — when to engage in friendly conversation and when to give space. ✔️ He carries a warm, charismatic presence that makes guests feel welcomed and taken care of. ✔️ His tone is respectful, calm, and always professional. ✔️ He maintains excellent eye contact, stands with confident posture, and speaks with clarity. ✔️ He has a natural charm that enhances the dining experience without ever overshadowing it. When it came time for dessert, his recommendations were once again perfect. The Espresso Semifreddo and the Durian Tempura were the ideal finishing touch — and his timing made the end of the meal feel just as polished as the beginning. What truly separates Puvin from others is not just what he does, but how he does it. His presence is steady, reassuring, and quietly charismatic. Even during busy moments, he never loses his composure. He anticipates needs before guests even realize them, handles every request with patience, and consistently delivers service with heart. In a world where hospitality can sometimes feel rushed or indifferent, Puvin is a standout example of genuine service excellence. His dedication, personality, and professionalism elevate the entire restaurant and leave a lasting impression long after the meal is over. For anyone visiting this restaurant, I wholeheartedly recommend requesting to be served by Puvin. His service, character, and personal touch turn a simple meal into an unforgettable experience.

Amazing dining experience at Burger & Lobster 🦞. A Really BIG SHOUT-OUT TO MR PUVIN The staff at Burger Lobster Genting what was an amazing , Talented , Handsome , Extremely Friendly Guy he is ❤️ I’m the owner of a 3-star Michelin restaurant, and during my visit to Burger & Lobster, I was truly impressed by the service provided by Puvin, our waiter for the evening. His professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail were outstanding — qualities you’d expect from fine dining. He was friendly, professional, patient, and super knowledgeable — truly a standout in customer service! He recommended all the right dishes — the Chili Lobster, Classic Lobster Roll, Mayfair Burger, Soy Butter Prawn, and the Surf & Turf Roll — every single one was spot on and absolutely delicious. The cocktails he suggested — Jalisco Rose, Lychee Paradise, and Bourbon Blossom — were the perfect pairing for the night. It’s rare to find a waiter who takes the time to make sure everything is perfect from start to finish, but Puvin did just that. Hats off to him for making our dinner memorable! Definitely coming back — and also I would like to add on Even as someone from the fine dining world, I must say the experience here was remarkable. Burger & Lobster should be proud to have such a dedicated and talented team member Especially My guy over here PUVIN Thank you so much. Highly recommended! 🦞👏 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

The menu is refreshingly simple, focusing on quality over quantity. I opted for the classic lobster roll, which was generously filled with succulent lobster meat and served in a perfectly toasted brioche bun. The lemon-garlic butter added a rich, flavorful touch. My companion chose the signature burger, which was juicy and cooked to perfection, accompanied by crispy fries that were hard to resist. A big shout out to Shahrul and puvin for their exceptional hospitality! Shahrul was particularly helpful and added a touch of humor to our dining experience, especially while assisting us with removing the lobster. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring that our visit was pleasant and memorable.

This place is a fantastic find for a weekday lunch. We visited and were pleasantly surprised—there was no wait time and it wasn't crowded, making for a very relaxed meal. The star of the show was undoubtedly the B&L Beast Burger. We ordered it medium-rare, and it was absolutely perfect—incredibly juicy and packed with a rich, umami flavor. The combination of the high-quality beef patty and the sweet, tender lobster meat was a match made in heaven. The serving size was standard, leaving us perfectly satisfied. We also tried the Surf & Turf Rolls, which were equally impressive. The rolls were generously stuffed with a delicious mix of lobster meat and beef patty. What really tied everything together was the Japanese mayo sauce; its creamy, tangy flavor was the key that enhanced the overall taste and brought the dish to another level. Overall, a top-tier experience with standout dishes. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu

Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park is a must-visit attraction in Genting Highlands, Malaysia. It offers endless fun and thrills for visitors of all ages. The park features exhilarating performances, exciting games, and a variety of indoor amusement rides. With its spectacular mountain views and tranquil ambiance, it's the perfect destination for families looking to have an unforgettable experience.
Genting Highlands is one of the most sought-after destinations on everyone’s Malaysia trip. The best way to enjoy it is to stay overnight so you can truly experience all the entertainment this place has to offer. The outdoor theme park alone deserves several hours, so it’s best to reach right at opening time. Before visiting, it helps to check the online map and understand the VR queue system — this makes navigating the park and using the app much easier for a smoother experience. We visited on an October weekend, which is the off-season, so the crowd was comparatively less. We bought our tickets directly at the venue instead of online — the price was about ₹300 less per person, which was a good saving. However, during the peak tourist season (from November to June), it’s advisable to book tickets in advance. Overall, the park is efficiently managed and offers great value for money at around ₹3,900 per adult (approximately RM 190).

Really fun place to spend the day! The park looks amazing and the mountain views are beautiful. The cool weather makes it super nice to walk around, and there’s a good mix of rides for both kids and adults. Some rides were closed and the queues got long in the afternoon, but overall still worth it. Staff were friendly and the park was clean and well kept. 🎢 Tip: Go early and bring a jacket — it can get windy later in the day. Great spot for families and friends when visiting Genting Highlands!

I visited SkyWorlds Genting on a Friday morning, and overall, it was a really fun experience. There was plenty of paid parking available, which made it convenient to find a spot without too much hassle. Upon entering, I recommend getting a locker to store your belongings — it’s much easier to enjoy the rides without carrying bags around. Some rides require you to wear a raincoat, so it’s best to either bring your own or buy one on-site. It started raining in the evening when I went, but the staff handled everything well, and most of the attractions resumed once the rain slowed down. Despite the weather, the overall experience was still enjoyable and lively. The theme park itself is well-maintained, with a good variety of rides suitable for both thrill-seekers and families. I especially liked how organized everything was — clear signboards, friendly staff, and clean facilities throughout. The food options were also decent; I tried the hotdog, which was surprisingly big and tasty, definitely worth trying if you need a quick snack between rides. The atmosphere was cheerful, and the park layout made it easy to move from one attraction to another without feeling too crowded. It’s a great place for a short getaway, especially if you’re spending the day in Genting. Overall, despite the rain later in the day, I had a great time. SkyWorlds Genting offers a good balance of fun rides, photo spots, and comfort — I’d recommend visiting earlier in the morning to make the most of your day and avoid the bigger crowds later on.

This hilltop attraction is certainly worth the journey, offering a beautiful environment that is cool and refreshing, making it an excellent spot to relax and have fun at the peak. On October 3, 2025, we were delighted to receive complimentary one-day tickets to SKYWORLDS THEME PARK and SKYTROPOLIS INDOOR THEME PARK, courtesy of Genting Malaysia Berhad, as we are members of Genting Highlands. We were assisted by Mr. Afiq, the “polis bantuan” police assistance, who guided us on how to reach Skyworld Theme Park and provided us with essential information about the entertainment venue. Had a great time and a lot of fun. We got a discount for the entry ticket (same prices of locals) since we stayed at their hotel so show your stay details and get the discount. We enjoyed entire day and recommending to go on weekdays but not in a Tuesday since it’s close on Tuesdays. Better you leave all your stuff in a locker and better to dressed a comfortable wear with lite shoes. We enjoyed the same rides repeatedly since we went on a Monday. Highly recommended.

A Thrilling Escape to the Clouds: My Review of Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park, Malaysia Nestled high in the cool, misty highlands of Genting, about an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur, Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park is Southeast Asia's newest adrenaline playground, soaring at over 6,000 feet above sea level. Opened in February 2022 after a rollercoaster of delays (it was originally slated to be a 20th Century Fox World), this outdoor theme park delivers a fresh twist on the classic Genting experience. If you're craving a break from Malaysia's tropical heat, with jaw-dropping mountain views and a mix of family-friendly fun and heart-pounding rides, SkyWorlds is worth the trip. I visited on a crisp November weekend, and despite some crowds, it felt like stepping into a vibrant, immersive storybook—think themed "worlds" inspired by blockbuster movies like Ice Age, Rio, and Planet of the Apes. Here's my honest breakdown. Getting There and Tickets: Easy Access with a Scenic Twist Reaching Genting Highlands is half the adventure. I opted for the Awana SkyWay cable car from the base station— a 10-minute gondola ride with panoramic views of lush valleys that instantly sets an exhilarating tone. (Pro tip: Avoid peak hours to skip long lines; the app helps with real-time wait times.) Tickets start at around RM151 for adults during off-peak (like early November), dropping to RM128 for kids, with free entry for tots under 90cm. I snagged mine via Klook for a 20% discount, bundling in express passes for RM50 extra—essential for thrill-seekers. The park operates daily from 10 AM to 6 PM but closes Tuesdays (except holidays), so plan accordingly. Entry includes all rides, shows, and attractions; no hidden fees, though lockers and photos add up (RM10–20).

Genting Highlands was an amazing trip, a fun, friendly amusement park experience with lots to enjoy. It can get cold and rainy, so waterproof jackets are a smarter choice than umbrellas. Be sure to book your tickets in advance and download the app to reserve your rides, it makes everything so much easier. There’s also a chairlift that takes you up, if possible, book the glass gondola for an even better view, and on your way back, stop at Chin Swee Temple for a peaceful and scenic break. There are malls to explore as well, but food options are somewhat limited, so plan accordingly.

Must-Visit Theme Park! Amazing Theming & Cool Highland Escape! I recently visited Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park and had a truly fantastic experience. The park is beautifully designed with 9 uniquely themed zones—the detail in areas like Rio and the Ice Age section is truly impressive and makes for great photos. The cool, refreshing highland weather is a huge plus, making it comfortable to spend the entire day exploring. Be sure to bring a light jacket as it can get chilly! Key Rides & Highlights: For thrill-seekers, the immersive 4D ride Independence Day: Defiance and the drop tower Terraform Tower Challenge are must-dos. I also loved the new Invasion of the Planet of the Apes ride—it was a real standout! Important Tips for Your Visit: Use the VQ System (Virtual Queue): This is absolutely essential to maximize your time. Download the Genting SkyWorlds mobile app before you go. Coffee Terrace

Buffet restaurant
Coffee Terrace is not just an ordinary restaurant, it's a dining destination that offers a wide array of global cuisine. The restaurant provides a comfortable atmosphere and stunning views, serving a buffet dinner with various local and international dishes. Divided into four sections - Private Room, Lanai Bar, Nyonya Baba Corner, and Al Fresco Terrace - the restaurant features options like Malaysian, Chinese, Western, Japanese cuisines as well as desserts.
Coffee Terrace at Genting offers a delightful dining experience with a view that’s truly second to none. The panoramic mountain scenery paired with the cool, crisp air makes every bite more enjoyable. The buffet spread is diverse and delicious—ranging from local Malaysian favorites to international picks, all well-prepared and flavorful. The service is warm and efficient, and the atmosphere is both relaxing and refreshing. Whether you’re here for a hearty meal or just to enjoy the spectacular highland view (like the breathtaking cable cars floating over lush green hills), this spot is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

The price is affordable at Genting highlight. Variety of food. From Laksa, Nasi Lemak, Roti Canai to western sausage. Definitely value for money. But the breakfast buffet ends at 11am. Got to be early :)

So many varieties and so much to choose from. And very worth it for hotel guests. Just show the hotel card or hotel coupon and the price only RM35 for adults. A must go morning breakfast if you have a big stomach 😍

早餐就只有辣的食物。不喜欢辣的可以不用去。没有东西吃。食物很难吃。食物很难吃。食物很难吃。 Firstly, the location is very far from skyavenue and first world hotel (this is nearer to genting grand hotel). So it was quite a walk getting here in the early morning. Next, we're here for breakfast. You can see from the photos, there's no food. You know what's for breakfast? Curry. And laksa. And Sambal. Lol. So if you dont prefer spicy foods, especially in the mornings, you can skip the long walk here cause the curry and laksa is so not worth it. The only other foods i could recommend would only be the watermelon. It was tasty, had not a lot of seeds. The oranges are sour. So dont try it. ;) Oh, and the scrambled eggs and fried eggs are also awesome. Warning : DO NOT try the hash browns and the waffle. Its all cold and hard lol. Staff are ignorant and very noisy. The kitchen staff stand around talking loudly, like there's no noise from the guests, so you could hear all the yapping from the staff. We were also graced with a cook from somewhere who was singing at the top of his lungs. (He was the only friendly one cause he said good morning to all the guests.) Their sign literally says NO ENTRY. Lol. And the sign remained that way even after we finish with our breakfast. Shows how much effort the staff put into welcoming guests. Compared to the food factory breakfast buffet i had last year, this is not worth. Don't go for the breakfast.

A disappointing experience especially to start your day when you are on a holiday. Resort World need to re-train their whole entire staff on customer service and restaurant management. The front host kept allowing patrons to enter knowing the restaurant is already at full capacity. We had to “fight” over tables and food due to the volume of people and lack of control from the restaurant management team. It was not worth it having to wait/fight for a table only to eat mediocre food. A disappointing and chaotic experience.

It's quite far for those staying at the First World Hotel; 15-20 minute walk. Overall, the food is delicious, and the environment is comfortable. After eating, you can go outside for some cold & fresh air.

A very spacious restaurant at Genting Highland. I was with a group and a buffet lunch was arranged at the restaurant. I am not sure of their regular menu, but I think they serve a buffet breakfast as well. The restaurant is nicely decorated and bears very good views from its windows. Our buffet lunch was very good having various food dishes, salads ,sweet dishes, fruits etc.

Service and atmosphere is acceptable. But the food is really bad. Only egg, ham, rendang chicken for protein. All like precooked food. Dry and taste bad. Can't even fill myself in a buffet breakfast.

Awana SkyWay (SkyAvenue Station)

4.6
(1500)
Mountain cable car
Awana Skyway, a state-of-the-art cable car system, offers a convenient and scenic route to the peak of Genting Highlands in Malaysia. The journey from Awana Station to SkyAvenue Station takes about 10 minutes, providing breathtaking views as it ascends from 1,105 to 1,725 meters above sea level. At SkyAvenue Station, passengers have direct access to the expansive shopping and entertainment complex within the SkyAvenue Mall.
A nice sky cable car to get up to genting. Its advisable to get down in between and visit the beautiful Chinese temple. The ride to the top is not too long but the views are amazing.
Aldrin M — Google review
Recommended to buy tickets online. There is not much difference between the standard Gondola and Glass underneath one. There is a mid stop at the Chineese Temple. The main stop is the last one. One can visit the Chinese Temple on the way back. It's all included in the same ticket. Easy to find, just need to follow "Awana Skyway" path. They click pictures and one might wonder if we will even receive it for the first time. So they actually click pictures both the times, from the lower station when you start and when you come back as well. You can see those as u reach. They are sold at 100 RM per picture along with frame and 150 RM if you decide to buy both. They themselves don't mention about the digital copy, but they do have an option for that, so make sure to ask and get a soft copy as well.
Indu L — Google review
Recommend to buy round trip ticket in advance thru Klook. Very convenient can only scan QR code and get in separate line with short queue. Better go on normal day not on long holiday to avoid crowd. Recommend to spend at least one night there to enjoy the weather, amusement park and casino.
Tapatchita N — Google review
Definitely a must-try for visitors. One can enjoy a scenic view of Genting Highlands, a free stop at Chin Swee Station (to visit Chin Swee Caves Temple) and finally the Genting Premium Outlet. Service Staff were helpful and friendly, especially the ones at the ticketing station.

We got the glass floor, during my time there wasnt many people using the glass floor so it was just the two of us from arriving until going home. I forgot gow much it cost for the glass floor. They separate those with glass floor and the standard one. There were few stops I think 3 before reaching to the top. Surely we had a fun experience going up and down and the queue wasnt that long either, I dont think it was even 5 minutes? I fear heights so much but I still enjoy the moment

Affordable ticket. Cashless payment at kisok. Keep the ticket if it's for return trip and can get receipt (claim income tax for travel for Malaysians). Follow the alphabet in the ticket for lane q to the cable car. There is priority lane for OKU but may not have staff - ask available staff for help. Can be crowded even on weekdays! Pics n video are at the 4th floor of the station and otw down. There are some rubbish on the hills, hope it is cleaned up.

There are regular carriages and transparent carriages. Generally, you need to queue up. Depending on your identity, there are different queues to follow. The scenery along the way is pleasant and beautiful. You can see the Genting Highlands theme park. You can also see the scenery covered with vegetation at different heights. You can easily and quickly get to another shopping mall directly.

Din Tai Fung at SkyAvenue Genting is a popular Taiwanese restaurant known for its Chinese cuisine, particularly its signature dish, Xiao Long Bao. The menu includes dry noodles with dumplings and fried rice with deep-fried pork. While the food is generally delicious, the standout item is definitely the steamed Shanghainese dumplings. Despite slightly higher prices compared to other branches, diners can expect a familiar and satisfying dining experience at this Malaysian location.
Truly enjoyed our dinner experience here. The price are considered quite high but the quality of the food is on par. We ordered all vegetarian dishes and they even have a page of menu for foods suitable for vegetarian/vegan, it's a bonus points for me!

Long queue as expected at Din Tai Fung in Genting, but the food made up for it. The noodles were hot and flavorful, and the service was efficient even though it was very busy. A bit pricey, but overall satisfying.

In genting and not sure what to have? Nothing unique, just go for the chain restaurants. The only thing you worry is the lack of consistency between the branches. Decided to drop by DTF during my recent visit. Great service, attentive as usual. Ambience is the usual DTF feel. Tried the standard like noodles, fried rice and dishes. Amazing fried rice as usual. Yummy 🤤. The rest of dishes were great as well. Drop by if you wanna play safe when in Genting Highlands 💪🏻

We finally tried this Din Tai Fung Republic of China - Taiwanese international restaurant chain outlet in Genting, having patronised their other SEA franchise outlet locations. We decided on a simple meal comprising some of their signature menu items : Xiao Long Bao, Hot & Sour Soup Noodles with Shrimp, Pork Chop Fried Rice, Sesame Rice ball, Pu'Er Milk Tea (Cold) and Soy Bean Milk with Grass Jelly (Cold). Received prompt and diligent service from the various serving staff. The food quality was relatively consistent with our past experiences in other Din Tai Fung franchise outlets. I will definitely patronise this outlet again to try their other menu items.

Country food restaurant
Malaysian Food Street at Resorts World Genting is a bustling food court designed to resemble an old Malaysian hawker market, complete with vintage decor and wooden food carts. With around 20 hawker stalls offering a variety of dishes like Penang Fried Kway Teo, Hainese rice chicken, and chendol, it's the perfect spot for a quick and tasty bite.
To be honest, is one of those places in Genting where you can get excellent quality of food at a reasonable price. Usually went for the famous curry fish head but since today is raining at Genting, ordered a claypot fish porridge as well and it is just delicious! Ambience was comfortable and is a place I would go back again to try other food.

Standard fare for the stomach. Nothing fancy, nothing great. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed. All priced for tourism. We ordered Chicken Rice set. Simple dish, so cooking can't go wrong. Bcos I saw some dishes was cooked in the wrong way by people who don't eat food like those, in the first place, at other stalls.

This place is always crowded. We managed to find a seat for 6 and start ordering ourselves. Just bring along your credit card and it's easy to make payment. The curry fish head is very good. Fragrant, good portion for two person. Fresh as well. The service is fast too. I think this stall has the most customers as I can see their fish head on majority of tables. The cendol is another excellent choice if you want to try. The chicken rice and roast pork portion is very small and pricey. Overall, it really depends on what you like to eat. There's a lot of options here.
Melvin F — Google review
Malaysian Food Street provides a good alternative to eat Malaysian delicacies at affordable prices. If you compare to KL street food prices , it’s definitely pricey cos it’s a touristy area but if you compare to other dining options within Genting Highlands , it’s actually more affordable . Such food streets are good as they bring all the well known hawkers stalls into a single place . Just to take note , they don’t accept cash payments here but you can directly use Genting points to pay for the meals here .

Grandmama's at SkyAvenue, Genting Highlands offers authentic Malaysian cuisine with a trendy biker grandmother signage on a pink wall. Their Signature River Prawn Sang Mee is a must-try, featuring tri-colored rice with assam prawns, beef rendang, and deep-fried chicken drumstick. The restaurant brings the taste of Penang with generous portions. While the place may be packed, the friendly servers ensure a pleasant dining experience despite some minor service hiccups.
Food is relatively good. Chicken rice was so so.. as the chicken breast meat was ali'l on the dry side. Chicken cuts could be better. Char kuey teow has shrimps squid.. tasty. Special thanks to excellent service by our En. Faiez (as seen in pic). Ps. Unable to collect Genting World points at this outlet

They served Malaysian styles dishes. Restaurant atmosphere was good. Many staffs working. Food served was ok, good enough for the stomach. We had noodles and seafood curry with rice. Serving was enough. Prices was competitive with other restaurants within the resorts tourists area. Will try other restaurants at the area.

The restaurant gives off a really authentic vibe from the outside, which made us excited to try it. However, the food experience didn’t quite meet expectations. Some dishes like the noodles were nice, but the rice dishes were not warm and tasted a bit dull, which was disappointing. It felt like the food might have been leftovers or prepared too early, maybe because it was close to closing time. The flavors overall were just average – not terrible, but not as delicious as expected. Personally, I wouldn’t come back again as there are many other places that serve better local flavors. Still, it might be worth trying once, as experiences can differ depending on timing and the dishes you order.

Wonderful experience at Grandmama's! They serve really authentic and delicious penang food such as Char Kway Teow and Nasi Lemak. They have a rambutan chin chow drink but it tastes more like longan. Overall really good food and nice environment for the price paid.
Aven T — Google review
Ordered the fish head noodle soup, but it came with mostly bones—around five pieces, and only one or two had actual meat. That said, the soup itself was flavorful, enriched with ginger and a nice touch of suan cai, which gave it a comforting balance of warmth and tang. Really enjoyed that combination. The Nasi Ayam Istimewa was generous in portion, served with three types of meat—a whole chicken drumstick, prawns, and some beef rendang. While the meats leaned towards being slightly overcooked and dry, the variety made it quite a value-for-money dish. The place does draw a bit of a crowd during meal times, but service remains fast and efficient, which makes dining here a fairly smooth experience overall.

Beena's Signature Sky Avenue at Resort World Genting offers a wide variety of dining options, including local tastes and international cuisine. Coffee Terrace is a popular choice for those who enjoy big portions and diverse flavors. With three branches in the area, this particular branch is known for its affordable yet delicious food offerings. The Golden Fried Drumstick Rice with Kapitan Curry sauce and Chicken Burger are highly recommended dishes.
One thing thumb up here is their service is good from ordering till serving food and they will still walking around to check everything is ok. Have a good range of local food here. Price consider cheaper as they included free drink with the set meal ordered. Recommend for a quick fix.

Had breakfast and dinner at Beena’s on 9 July 2025. Food is great with generous serving. The sausage is tender unlike usual sausage which is tough. Like their coffee as it is not too sweet. Ordered the Four Flavoured Rice set. Food is delicious. The staff is friendly and efficient. We were fortunate to be served by Mr Vanurs Cha. He reminded me of some of the 霸總 in the Chinese short dramas. Good looking chap with good customer service.

We ordered three items today. Nasi lemak, carrot cake and claypot mee. Nasi lemak does not have the coconut rice fragrance. The black pepper chicken meat was not very fragrant. What is good is that it comes with a drink. Carrot cake can only taste the black sauce. No punch and no taste of the egg. Claypot mee is the better among the three but still has room for improvement.

Tried Beena Restaurant in Genting — curry fish was tasty and portions were adequate. The curries were flavorful, and the sandwich came fresh and fluffy. Prices are reasonable for Genting standards, and service was quick even though the place was quite busy. Good spot if you’re craving Malaysian comfort food while up in the highlands.

✔️✔️✔️Visit Beena’s Signature Restaurant at SkyAvenue Genting. If you're a food enthusiast who enjoys Penang's local cuisine, this is the perfect spot to savour all your favourite dishes. Some of the local specialties include Penang Asam Laksa, Penang Curry Mee, Siakap fish curry rice, and Black Pepper Golden Chicken Drumstick Rice. However, the beloved Char Kway Teow and Penang Prawn Mee are not available here. Penang Island is renowned for its Nasi Kandar. We had the pleasure of meeting staff members Vanurs Cha and Yvonne (ShunHui). During our visit, we noticed that every guest was served promptly, and those in line weren't kept waiting for long. Yvonne was especially attentive, quickly checking for available tables for the next customer by monitoring those who had finished their meals. The swift cleanup of tables was impressive, and maintaining cleanliness is crucial since customers are particularly observant about hygiene. Despite this, the duo manning the staff, Vanurs and Yvonne, have shown themselves to be diligent workers who are highly attentive to customer needs (taking food orders) and prioritizing available tables, ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained at all times. We enjoyed their services. We hope that these Google reviews will inspire them and enhance their business. This restaurant operates two locations: SkyAvenue and Resort Hotel. Spice Garden is a renowned restaurant that offers an exceptional dining experience with its diverse menu showcasing the rich flavors and traditions of Indian cuisine. The warm and inviting atmosphere adds to the charm of this place, where you can savor aromatic biryanis, flavorful curries, and juicy tandoori chicken crafted with authentic spices and ingredients. It's highly recommended for those looking to indulge in the best of Indian culinary delights.
visited Spice Garden Restaurant at Genting Highlands and truly loved the food experience! If you’re searching for pure vegetarian or Indian food, this is the place you must try. The quality and quantity of the food were both excellent, and the Punjabi dishes and parathas we ordered were incredibly flavorful and satisfying. Yes, the prices are slightly on the higher side compared to some other outlets, but considering the taste, ambiance, and service – it’s worth it, especially in this location. A must-visit for any Indian food lover in Genting Highlands!

Really glad to have tried this place! Delicious with fast service! Although I can’t say that it’s one of my favourite Indian food restaurants, for the price and quality it’s really not bad! Especially enjoyed the mutton briyani which is tender and fragrant! The butter chicken portion is abit smaller than expected, and the chicken Samoa used minced chicken, abit different from the photo given. To end on a good note, the garlic nann is great! :) Will be back again to try once more 👌

Absolutely the worst restaurant experience we've ever had — Spice Garden at Genting Highlands is a complete disaster. The food was utterly tasteless, the staff were arrogant and rude, and the service was a joke. The place was packed with noisy tourist groups from package companies, creating an unbearable, chaotic environment. It felt more like a noisy market than a restaurant. There’s zero ventilation — the air was stuffy, smelly, and disgusting. No toilets provided, and the washbasin was jammed because of the overcrowding, adding to the filthy, unhygienic mess everywhere. On top of that, they only accept cash — no credit cards or Touch 'n Go — in 2025, that's just ridiculous. The loud, blaring music made it impossible to have a conversation, and I left with a pounding headache and nausea. I even vomited after eating their horrible food. I would genuinely prefer to stay hungry than set foot in this nightmare of a place again. Even if they paid me to eat here, I would refuse. Save yourself the regret and avoid this place like the plague. There are far better dining options in Genting — do not waste your time, money, or health here.

I went to this place for dinner with my family during our visit to Genting Highlands. This is the only Indian restaurant located in the mall. We ordered butter chicken and paneer kadai along with butter naan and a green salad. It is a proper casual dining setup. The staff was very quick in taking our order. The food arrived at our table in 15 to 20 minutes, and prior to that, we were served papad, which was complimentary. When we asked for another serving of papad, it was provided free of charge as well. The butter chicken was authentic North Indian, Delhi-style, and the taste was amazing. The paneer kadai was equally good, and the butter naan was excellent too. This is definitely going to be a must-visit place whenever you are in Genting Highlands.

We used to frequent this place when it was located at the ground level, accompanied by the two elephant statues. The food was amazing back then, we were wowed. Ambiance was really nice and environment was clean. We decided to go back during our recent trip to reminisce on the taste. Sadly it very much deteriorated. First was the cleanliness. You can clearly see lizard droppings in between the tables that were joined together. It was a major turn off. Then the service. The food took an amazing long time to arrive. We topped up for white rice, it took a while to arrive. And then when we requested for warm water, it took the same amount of time to arrive too! We were all so amused by this. Food wise, some hits and misses. Prawns were pathetically small from the photo, can skip. Keema was good. Mixed vegetables, alright. Bryani and rice were good. Flavours were kind of bland to be honest. But will I go back again? Probably not the next time.

So noise will definitely be there. 4.Bed they gave 2 queen and they can easily be arranged by your kids as their bed base is just like wood base. 5.TV is old.. type... not much entertainment. 6.Toilet is like splitted into 2 section, shower and toilet. Toilet is too small space.. 7.If u would like to have Iron, u need to contact housekeeping. By clicking 0 in your room telephone and call them. 8.Parking is quite not friendly. Only limited hotel parking behind hotel or else u need to go to the other side hotel building. Charge rate is the same 9.In lobby theres a mini playground for children 7years old and below Overall exp is 4*. Nicest thing in this hotel? View. And cheap.

For the price, this place is not bad for a short stay. The beds are placed on a platform and you could shift it around to accommodate your family’s preference. It was comfortable enough and came with adequate pillows. The rooms do not come with air conditioning but two ceiling fans which were more than enough to keep the room well ventilated. The bathroom is compact and clean, with separate shower and toilet areas which again works out perfectly for families. As for the downsides, the check-in process could be more flexible. Many Singaporeans take overnight coaches to Genting and arrive in the wee hours. It would have been great to offer the option to check in early at a fee if there are rooms available. We arrived on a Thursday at around 2.30am and was told that there are rooms available but the earliest check-in is at 6am. Similar to many of the reviews here, we also felt that the soundproofing was poor. The room also comes with roller blinds which do not blackout the room at all. There is also no option to switch off the lights in the bathroom so if you are someone who needs complete darkness and silence to sleep, bring your earplugs and eye mask. I also did not have a good experience with the housekeeping team who came to knock on my door at 5pm despite having a Do Not Disturb sign hanging outside my room. Luckily they did not wake my child who was taking his nap. When I pointed at the sign, they told me they just wanted to “double confirm” if I needed anything. 😅 Overall, it can be a decent stay if you manage your expectations and bring along items to make your stay more comfortable!

We just loved this place. Rooms were very clean and well maintained. The bed linens, towels were clean. The check in and check out process was very quick. No waiting time. We did not have breakfast in hotel as we wanted to explore the resturants. We would definitely book the same hotel if we travel back to Genting.

I recently stayed at SkyWorlds Hotel, the newly revamped theme park hotel and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Upon arrival, I noticed that the reception area felt a bit smaller than before but this is understandable given the addition of escalators running through the middle. The rooms were a real highlight, spacious, thoughtfully designed and full of fun details. As an adult, I slept in a double-decker bed and it was so fun!! The playful design really brought out the inner child in me, making the stay not just comfortable but also uniquely memorable. Beyond the rooms, the hotel captures the magic of the theme park experience perfectly. The decor, lighting and overall atmosphere make you feel like you’re part of an adventure from the moment you step inside. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the welcoming vibe. Overall, SkyWorlds Hotel is a brilliant blend of fun and comfort. Whether you’re visiting as a family, a couple, or even as an adult ready to embrace your playful side, it offers an unforgettable stay. I left with big smiles and great memories and I can’t wait to return!

Considering the options available at genting, this can be considered decent. Rooms are quite spacious. But to get innto the room is a task in itself. Service is most pathetic thing here. Even a 2 star property with 1/4th price has a good Service than this one. Lot of the things are haphazard and there is no one to guide. Staff are limited. Sky avenue , both theme parks are walkable. Everything is overpriced right from water bottle. Better to carry everything you need from kuala lampur. Breakfast is too far. Dont fall in trap to include it. Better to manage by self.

Choose this hotel as first world has many haunted reviews. Requested for a quiet room for king bed. Ya it was quiet and at corner.... Turn out there was a young girl spirit (giggling is young kid I suspect) in our room. Did not disturb us except giggle in middle of night as my boy wanted to go toilet to pee causing Both me and wife woke up suddenly. I was ok buy wife was freaked out and only told me when we check out. Friendly and harmless ghost which I think was acceptable not my wife. but room is Abit far to genting mall. Nice playground and cute child decor. Water is hot and room is clean. Not for those that is sensitive to spititual.. but seriously it didn't disturb me so I was ok. Maybe don't request for quiet room should be ok.

Never even allocate smoking point for smokers. Expect to smoke in the rain. It's good to separate smoking point away from crowd and lobby but even away from lobby you're not allowed. kinda deterring smokers from coming. This will be the last time I'll even come here again. Will definitely not recommend family and friends coming. There are other better options. Try banning smoking entire genting and see. Good luck

We arrived at the hotel to check in; however, the room was not ready, and we followed the instructions given to us including returning after 3 PM to collect our room key. At around 5 PM, we went back to the reception expecting a simple, straightforward process. Unfortunately, what happened next was nothing short of shocking. I approached the receptionist, Tehja, and clearly informed her that I was there to collect my room key. She asked for my passport, scanned it, and at that point the process should have been completed, simply hand over the key. Instead, she chose to ignore us entirely. Without saying a single word, she started fiddling with random papers on her desk slow, disinterested, and acting as if we weren’t even standing there. No greeting, no acknowledgment, no “please wait,” not even basic eye contact. For someone working at the front desk, this behaviour is absolutely unacceptable. After standing there like we were invisible for almost 10 minutes, I finally asked if my key was ready. Her response was unbelievable: She looked at me with a blank, almost confused expression and asked, “What key?” This, after I had just explained why I was there and after she had just scanned my passport. The level of incompetence and arrogance was beyond comprehension. Her attitude throughout the entire interaction was rude, unfriendly, and completely disrespectful. She looked irritated, spoke in a harsh tone, and even asked for my passport again as if she had no idea what she had been doing moments earlier. There was no explanation, no responsibility taken, and certainly not a single apology. No guest should ever be treated like they are an inconvenience. A receptionist who cannot perform basic communication or show the simplest courtesy reflects extremely poorly on the entire hotel. The only redeeming moment was when another staff member, likely a supervisor stepped in and apologized politely. At least someone understood what hospitality is supposed to look like. But by then, the damage was done. The way we were ignored, dismissed, and treated with zero respect was beyond terrible. This wasn’t just “bad service, it was an embarrassing and unacceptable breakdown of professionalism. After this very terrible and frustrating experience, we have absolutely no intention of returning to this hotel, and we genuinely hope no other guest has to endure what we went through.
