Red Square is a historic landmark in Moscow, Russia, known for its iconic sites such as the Kremlin, St. Basil's Cathedral, and Lenin's mausoleum. The Heart of Moscow – A Must-See Landmark! Red Square is absolutely breathtaking and a must-visit for anyone coming to Moscow. Surrounded by iconic landmarks like St. Basil’s Cathedral, the Kremlin, Lenin’s Mausoleum, and the GUM department store, the square is rich in history and architectural beauty. The atmosphere is both grand and peaceful, especially in the evening when the buildings are beautifully lit. You can feel the weight of history here—from military parades to cultural celebrations. Tip: Don’t miss the chance to grab a classic ice cream from GUM while enjoying the view—it’s a simple pleasure in a majestic setting!

Amazing Experience at Red Square, Moscow! Visiting Red Square was truly an unforgettable experience! The atmosphere is full of history, culture, and beauty. Standing in the heart of Moscow, surrounded by the stunning Saint Basil’s Cathedral, the Kremlin walls, and the State Historical Museum, felt like stepping into a living postcard. The architecture is breathtaking, especially at sunset when the lights make the whole square glow beautifully. Everything is so clean, organized, and well-maintained. Street performers, local cafes, and friendly people add to the lively vibe. It’s not just a tourist spot — it’s the soul of Russia, where the past and present meet. I would highly recommend everyone to visit Red Square at least once in their lifetime!

The very heart of the city is a must visit - it’s alongside the Kremlin and comprises other interesting buildings like Gum, the Kremlin, St Basil’s Cathedral, Lenin’s mausoleum etc. There are sights to see and places to eat. You can spend the entire day here.

Standing in Red Square feels like walking through a living postcard. Between St. Basil’s vibrant domes, the Kremlin’s mighty walls, and Lenin’s stoic tomb, history stares right back at you. Great for photos📸📸📸, people-watching, and soaking up the soul of Russia. 🇷🇺❤️

Visiting Red Square was an unforgettable experience! The atmosphere is truly special — full of history, beauty, and culture. The architecture is absolutely stunning, especially the iconic Saint Basil’s Cathedral and the Kremlin walls. The square is very well maintained, and despite the number of visitors, everything felt organized and peaceful. It’s a must-see spot in Moscow, both during the day and at night when everything is beautifully lit. I really enjoyed my time there and would love to visit again. Highly recommended!

The Red Square is located in the heart of Moscow. It is one of the most important historical and cultural sites in Russia. Built in the 15th century. This square is one of the grandest in the world. I came here a few times and I am always really impressed by the grandeur and the architecture. You can see St. Basil's Cathedral with its fabulous domes, Lenin's Mausoleum, and the Kremlin, the seat of the Russian government. I love this place it is beautiful!

The Moscow Kremlin, also known as The Kremlin, is a massive fortified complex located in the heart of Moscow. Originally built as the tsar's residence, it now serves as the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation. This historic site houses ancient churches used for royal ceremonies and various museums showcasing Russian state regalia and art. Visiting requires careful planning due to ticket logistics and entry requirements, but exploring over five centuries of history within its walls makes it all worthwhile.
A must visit place in Moscow having rich history and architectural value. It was great from outside as well but we took an inside tour as well. Inside there very many beautiful churches even dating back to 13th century. The churches have beautiful hand painted art on its walls and roof.
Zafar K — Google review
Beautiful place with a rich history, energized atmosphere, and incredible architecture. Highly recommend the tour of the inside of the Kremlin, where you can visit cathedrals dating back to the 13th century. Great place to be anytime during the day, but especially at night! (I would also advise making a stop at the eternal flame, which honors the loss of soldiers' lives in WWII).

Can’t buy ticket online in advance. Nice place for first comers in Moscow!

A place full of history, the churches, and gardens are well worth the visit. Its impressive how this place is so well maintained. You can see the cannons left behind by Napoleon. You can also see iconic buildings from Russia's history although the tourist can really only see them from the outside, yet its still very worthwhile.

Fantastic experience. We took the opportunity to take a cruise excursion into Moscow on high speed train. We had the most wonderful tour guide who had a great head of knowledge. It was a long day but so worth the money for the trip. Loved every minute of it. Would recommend the trip.

Amazing, a must see place. Have a tour that takes in the Cathedrals and the Treasury museum, spectacular. Finish it off by visiting Red Square in the evening, with everything lit up. Update Sep 2023 - that review didn't age very well!! 😲 Maybe we can revisit in about 20 years....

Nestled conveniently near the iconic Red Square, Okhotny Ryad is a vibrant underground shopping haven that beckons both locals and tourists alike. This expansive mall boasts over 160 stores featuring popular brands in fashion, footwear, jewelry, cosmetics, and more—all at wallet-friendly prices.
Very interesting mall underground located between four seasons and dr zivago or the Carlton. You enter it from the subway . 3 floors underground . The last floor has a full food court area , we had Chinese and sushi . Was sooooooo good

An underground mall connecting subway and metro stations. This mall host numerous clothing brands. Souvenir shops and list of food stalls to try on. Definitely a must see place.

Nice mall. You can find good stuff in here. They have huge uniclo store and food court. Its only problem is that it is not very well maintained- considering the fact it’s in the heart of the red square, you would expect it to look more than an 80’s shopping mall.

This mall is near metro and red square, there is a lot of merchant and also has many variant of food examples for asian cuisine you can find it at foodcourt and also in this mall you should pay 50 rub for toilet . And also has beautiful fontain, inside and outside even in the roof

Okhotny Ryad Shopping Center is located at Manezhnaya Square. This is a underground shopping centre near major sightseeing such as Red Square and Kremlin. Opening hours are 10am to 10pm daily. Here you will find basic eateries, coffee shops and several levels of mostly midrange retail shops that might make for a fair shopping experience. What we liked best was the area with the statue fountain and the high glass dome ceiling. Here you can look upward and see the glass window of the World Clock fountain. Make a stop here if you need a break from the cold in the winter or if you fancy something light and inexpensive to eat in between area sightseeing. Otherwise, you might want to save your shopping time and money for more interesting streets and shopping areas in the city.

It's an interesting mall situated in the practically enter to the red square. It's underground, and have -3 floors. As all in Russia it doesn't look so modern. There are a lot of Western magazines. For tourists it's a good option breakfast, or dinner, there are burguerking, McDonald's and etc, (some of the restaurants are in the -3 floor at the final). Also there are coffees, as there are only magazines there hence there are nothing to do for tourists. Is also connected to the subway station.

It's ok. Makes me feel claustrophobic. Really crowded. Toilets are nowhere to be seen. Some shops are quite good though. Right near the Red Square.

Its a Mall located at City Center. Near By Kremlin and Red Square. Quite spacious mall with Various Brand Outlets. Well unique thing about this mall is its Underground and it also has Metro Station connected. You can say that this is the place which has everything you need. Hundreds of shops offering Premium clothing, Makeup stores, Cafes, Restaurants, Toiletries etc. Unique Mall I can say.

GUM, short for "Main Universal Store," is a historic 3-story shopping arcade in Moscow with a semicircular glass roof and international brands. It is located near iconic landmarks such as the Kremlin, Lenin's Mausoleum, and St. Basil's Cathedral. Built in the 19th century in a pseudo-Russian style, GUM is not only a shopping destination but also an art space known for its stunning decorations.
GUM Mall is a stunning and beautifully decorated shopping destination located right next to Red Square. The architecture alone is worth the visit – elegant, grand, and full of charm. The mall is spacious, with several floors offering a mix of high-end boutiques, local brands, and cozy cafés. It’s always clean, well-maintained, and has a very welcoming atmosphere. One of the highlights of visiting GUM is trying the famous Soviet-style ice cream—simple, creamy, and nostalgic. You’ll find it at one of the small kiosks inside, and it’s a must-have experience! Also, don’t miss Bosco Café, located on the upper level, offering delicious food and a beautiful view of Red Square from its windows. Whether you’re there for shopping, sightseeing, or just relaxing with a dessert, GUM is a wonderful place to visit in Moscow.

A Must-Visit Icon on Red Square! GUM is more than just a shopping mall—it's a piece of Moscow's history and architecture. Located right on Red Square, the building itself is stunning, with its glass ceilings and elegant 19th-century design. Inside, you'll find a mix of luxury boutiques, charming cafes, and even a historic grocery store. Even if you're not shopping, it's worth visiting just to walk through and enjoy the atmosphere. And just try the ice cream on the ground floor—it's a classic Soviet-style treat that’s simple, nostalgic, and absolutely delicious! Prices can be high, but the experience is priceless. A perfect blend of culture, history, and modern luxury.

A beautiful shopping mall walking distance to the Red Square. It has all kind of shops and some eating options as well. There are multiple ice cream selling points in the mall. I had ice cream at the shopping mall; ice cream was good. The overall ambiance of the place is modern and up to date.

Spectacular - a perfect blend of retail, culinary delights, and architectural marvel that makes for an unforgettable experience. The selection of shops here is outstanding, featuring everything from luxury international brands to unique Russian boutiques. The restaurants and cafes throughout GUM are exceptional. From traditional Russian cuisine to international flavors, every meal was a delight. The famous GUM ice cream is an absolute must-try - a sweet tradition that perfectly caps off any visit. The building itself is a masterpiece that seamlessly blends shopping with art. ☺️

Beautiful mall in red square that sells international luxury brands and well as Russian local brands. The aesthetics are stunning and very instagrammable. Food and the amazing GUM icecream is a must try here
Natalie P — Google review
The history of GUM in Moscow began in the 19th century, when the Upper Trading Rows were located on the site of the current building. The first shops appeared here in the 17th century, but they were wooden, then a stone building appeared, but in about 70 years it also became outdated. In 1889-1893, the old rows were demolished, and in their place a new passage was built with imitation of forms of ancient Russian architecture and folk art, but at the same time modern materials and technologies were used. . The building received elements of Art Nouveau and a unique glass roof, which became one of its calling cards. At the end of the 19th century, it became fashionable to use elements reminiscent of towers, boyar chambers and church architecture of the 17th century: keeled arches, hipped roofs, patterned platbands, pipe columns, figured pediments, kokoshniks and striped masonry. However, unlike real Old Russian architecture, where the decor was an organic part of the structure, in the 19th and 20th centuries these elements were often imposed on modern buildings as decorative ones. Striking examples are the Historical Museum in Moscow and, of course, GUM, where these details are combined with huge glass arches and metal ceilings from the era of the Industrial Revolution. The shopping arcade quickly turned into a center of luxury - hundreds of shops, salons and restaurants operated here. After the revolution of 1917, trade was closed, and the building was used for warehouses and even for housing for officials. In 1921, by decree of Lenin, the State Department Store, or GUM, was opened here. In the 1930s, trade was temporarily stopped, and ministries were placed there. In 1953, the store reopened and became a symbol of Soviet trade - scarce goods, a grocery store and a cafe appeared here. In the 1990s, GUM was privatized and gradually turned into a premium shopping center with boutiques of world brands. Today, GUM is not only a store, but also a cultural space, and in the cafeteria No. 57 you can try dishes from the Soviet era, although in my personal opinion, they don’t really know how to cook them here. The building has become a super symbol of Moscow, combining history, trade and modernity. Its glass roofs, archaic-retro facades and three levels of passages make it a unique architectural monument.
Azar — Google review
GUM is one of the most beautiful landmarks in Moscow, located right next to Red Square. Mu-Mu is a popular cafeteria in Moscow, known for its cow-themed decor and round-the-clock service. With several locations throughout the city, Mu-Mu is easily recognizable by the cow displayed at each entrance. The variety of food is great. The prices are fair and the taste is even better. I had to go back before I left Moscow because it became my go-to place while sightseeing. I highly recommend it, but take your time and don't take too much because you'll end up with a lot of food like I did the first time!! All of the food in the pictures were under 1000₽ and I ate a lot!

I was there for Lunch. Eat a little and need go to the restroom. Waiting, as the room is permanently occupiete from Person who are not eating there ( terrible). Coming back to my dish and all is gone to rubish. Thanks a lot. Ask what shall it be? No answer. Never ever I will go there. Normally people say sorry. Nothing at all. 😡😡

I think Mu-Mu is a good and safe chain to eat in Russia. Food was tasty, drinks were food. Nothinh too fancy but alright. Prices aren't always clear (some are per 100g) so pay attention when ordering. I think it is slightly overpriced for what you get but would still recommend it as there is a wide choice and it's easy to get something that looks familiar without reading Russian.

Café My-My (pronounced as Café Moo-Moo). Read about this place and so decided to visit. It's a self service a-la-carte joint, wherein you take a tray and choose your options as you move along the counter. Once you've settled the payment according to the items you've chosen, choose a place to sit and savour the Russian delicacies. A full (giant) meal (in the picture) including the large mixed berry juice costed me RUB740. The food was amazing, the staff were very patient and polite (understood that I'm a foreigner and needed a little extra time to decide!!!) And the ambience was like a rustic wine cellar, which for me created a very warm atmosphere Final verdict: Ambience: 4/5 Food: 4/5 Staff: 4/5

I must say this is my one of the favorite places in Moscow actually most Favorites. I am anytime ready for the food here. Over the years, its been more than 5 years since I am visiting this Chain of Restaurants in Moscow. Its Canteen theme buffet arranged restaurant with staff attending and you can select dishes and pay for every dish you take. They serve Beef and Pork and Chicken. I usually eat Chicken dishes. They have all varieties of Russian local dishes along with some Soviet Dishes. Borscht is one of the Ukranian dish which is a Famous Soviet staple dish. Earlier MuMu used to give a toffee complimentary. A sugary toffee was tasting like jaggery and one can tell with its taste its one of the oldest style toffee. I visited these Restaurants almost after two years and I could not find this iconic Toffee and also the Kvas (Russian Local drink made of Bread, non alcoholic). Hope to Visit one more time. Well its really great Restaurants if one wants to try Russian authentic dishes. Soviet Dishes I must say. Must visit for Tourists. Not luxury or Premium but surely not dull. Very well managed and maintained. One of the best thing of this Restaurants which I must mention here is that I usually seen women running it. Yes I seen man too but very rarely. Mostly women are in large number handling the place.

Located in Red Square, Stolovaya 57 is a popular Soviet-inspired restaurant known for its long queues during lunchtime. The name translates to 'workers cafeteria,' and the menu features simple classics from The Book of Healthy and Tasty Food cookbook. Dishes include borsch, stews, dumplings, herring-based dishes, and the nostalgic pigeons milk cake.
Stolovaya 57 (Столовая 57) in Moscow is not only a delightful culinary experience but also a fantastic way for tourists to immerse themselves in Russian culture. During our visit, we were pleasantly surprised to find the place bustling with locals, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Interacting with friendly locals added to the charm, and we found ourselves surrounded by beautiful people, both inside and out. Stolovaya 57 truly offers a glimpse into Russian life while providing delicious food, making it a must-visit destination for tourists seeking an authentic experience in Moscow.

The price is a bit expensive and the taste is average. A lot of local people eat in here, everything in No.57 like the worker’s canteen in USSR. If you are a tourist, is a place worth for you to visit and have a lunch. However, be careful you need to wait in a long queue! And although here in the centre of Moscow and Russia, the staff of the No.57 can not speak English, they just speak Russian.
夏侯元菡 — Google review
I believe ALL TOURISTS must visit this cafe Stolovaya 57 inside GUM Mall, in the Red Square Oh yea I realize the price is also a bit touristy. Which is normal. But the experience to have this kind of buffet, and try all the Russian local dishes, and drinks, is the only thing you need after a visit to the Kremlin The place is so clean and luxurious. They speak English too little but you can find all the English name (and price) on each tag. So just take everything that attracts you and pay at the end of the line. I can say almost everything taste good!! My personal favorite: - borscht (well its a must) - fried cutlets. Any of them - all of the salads are great - cranberry drink - the creamy mushroom sauce. OH MY GOD

Yeah, food is decent, wouldn't really suprize you much, what you are really here for is for the experience, to experience the soviet dinning halls and capture the whole atmosphere, the whole key of the place it's located "GUM" is that no matter how much time goes, it never gets old or outdated, always remains it's own significance. Well, okay, maybe something has changed - the crowdedness

I cannot describe how happy I am to have discovered this place!! Who would have thought that in a fancy mall with lots of couture brands you can find a modest and so worth place like this to eat?! I'm fascinated; decent prices, good options and literally fabulous food! Super tasty Russian food, the place is also kept clean all the time. I was eating there every day, it's too affordable and too good!

This is an old soviet style self-service canteen in the most luxurious shopping mall of Moscow. Just this contrast alone makes it worth a visit. Grab your tray and serve yourself some of 20+ Russian specialties and pay at the counter. The food is very cheap therefore don't expect highest quality but everything tastes good. We had borsch, beef with mushroom cutlet, salmon & caviar with cream cheese and boiled egg. My favorite was the eggplant with cream cheese and garlic. Would definitely come back for a snack next time.

Restaurant
Perched atop The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Moscow, Ресторан O2 Restaurant offers a refined rooftop dining experience with panoramic city views. This landmark restaurant and bar presents an exclusive opportunity for exceptional gourmet international cuisine, including the finest caviar, seafood, sushi, and craft cocktails. With its modern design and glamorous ambiance, it's a favorite among movie stars and famous politicians staying in Moscow.
We liked this place very much. The view is fantastic, food is very good, huge choice of cocktails. Some of them are very new to me. We definitely come here again when we are back in Moscow

A rooftop restaurant with a view that is really worth it. The menu is not too big, but the dishes are served neatly and with good taste. The staff work calmly, they don’t rush but also don’t disappear. Prices are above average, which is expected for the location and atmosphere.

Roof top bar with probably THE BEST view over Red Square and Moscow Center. Stunning views, we were speechless for some time when we reached there. Really friendly service, nice cocktails. Nice music and atmosphere. Place is not cheap, but totally worth it!!!
Maria S — Google review
Amazing lounge/bar/restaurant. We had a reservation for after our visit to the Bolshoi to see the Nutcracker. The cocktails are fantastic and the service professional. The menu is expensive compared to ‘normal’ restaurants, but this it the Ritz so expect it to be something a bit special. Our fillet mignon was absolutely perfect. The view from the roof is amazing too. Although it was 11pm in January and -3 with snow flurries that didn’t stop my wife and I from taking in the view despite this and being in a dress and tuxedo. Highly recommend.
William L — Google review
Great cocktail "Moscow Sling", food also look good. What went wrong then? Yes, the soup was delicious but the pasta was overcooked and that's the beginning of the story. (However, the prawn was cooked to perfection) I was changing my mind so I didn’t get any dessert from here. So I decided to find some other place to go for dessert instead. I went to pay and l just let the waiter know politely that the pasta was overcooked. I like it al dente and therefore I didn’t eat it. There was 2-3 staff there and they were laughing at me and looked at me while asked me very racist “Where are you came from? Are you the Philippines” I said sorry I am not and walked away very disappointing for the Ritz-Carlton Moscow and how they’ve trained their staff.
CS S — Google review
It’s a fantastic place with wonderful view. The food and drinks are fine as well. The bartenders are conversable and tell me a lot of story about the vodka and many great suggestions to the city. I definitely will stay in Ritz again. :)
Sisi Z — Google review
View and cocktails only Unfortunately, here I can highlight only view on the Kremlin from the terrace and cocktails. Food is poor - not tasty and expensive. Some positions from the menu were absent. So, if you don’t want to regret for a dinner, you should go there only for cocktails. Staff is average - look like not suitable for this place, nobody smiles. This restaurant can be cool in all terms if they will upgrade kitchen and staff

Russian restaurant
Taras Bulba is a restaurant chain known for its unique folklore ambiance and Russian cuisine. The restaurants offer generous portions at reasonable prices, attracting locals and visitors alike. The interior is designed to resemble a traditional Ukrainian house, creating an immersive dining experience. The menu features authentic Russian flavors, showcasing the country's diverse culinary traditions. Despite limited English spoken by the staff, they are attentive and provide excellent service in traditional costumes.
The restaurant is absolutely worth to go for any tourists who come to Moscow. Foods are very very tasty and restaurant is very authentic. The waitress was so kind and kind to us. There are many things to try here, make sure going there very hungry. Also consider that you will probably wait for the line for a while.
Güven Z — Google review
One of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever been to! In this place, you’re immersed in color and beauty! The wonderful Ukrainian culture is reflected everywhere! Everything was absolutely stunning! However, I didn’t like the taste of the food at all—not at all! The food was brought to us extremely late, and almost all of us left the restaurant hungry because we couldn’t even eat the food! Though, it probably wasn’t to our taste, as the other Ukrainian and Russian guests in the restaurant were enjoying their meals!

Homie-style restaurant with tasty food, excellent and friendly service. We had chicken kyiv, it was juicy and tender. The apple pie was so soft and delicious. Shoutout to the waiter who served us, he was so dedicated. Definitely will go back.
Nyx X — Google review
I had to wait in line for 15m, but the quality of food waa really second to none (the best i had in YEARS). I ordered: - borsh - kiev chicken - vareniky with cherries - a mug of mead Funny that the waiter said that the mead was nonalcoholic, but in reality it tasted right in between beer and wine in alcohol content

Really tasty food! feels like home, like what my Ukrainian grandmother would cook (if I was Ukrainian). Very kind and fast service. You can make a reservation but also wait for few minutes and have a table. The ambiance is nice and the price is fair... Almost a bit low for how good it is!

The All-Russian Exhibition Center, also known as VVTs or VDNKh, is a historic exhibition complex that dates back to 1939. Originally established as the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition, it has evolved into a high-profile venue for fairs, congresses, and expositions. The center boasts halls capable of accommodating up to 500 people and spans an impressive 136 hectares with over 250 buildings.
This is a must visit when in Moscow, after the Kremlin. Bright, beautiful and bursting with culture, it’s not just a tourists, but also a delight for locals. There’s so much to see. The amazing fountain with the 16 dancers, the installations representing the former soviet states, the lovely park…. And in summer, the greenery and flora.

Huge exhibition complex absolutely worth a visit. Beautifully constructed halls of ex Soviet republics. Exhibit promoting countries’ products & tourism. Some halls were closed. From metro station to end of the giant grounds almost 2 km. Prepare for very long walk

An amazing and massive place to explore. The area is huge, with wide avenues, beautiful pavilions, and countless points of interest. You’ll need a full day to see everything, and even then, you might want to come back for more. The experience isn’t just about Russian achievements — you’ll find influences and displays from many different cultures, making it even more fascinating. 💡 Wear comfortable shoes, plan a whole day, and check the events schedule before you go. 💰 Entry to the grounds is free, with individual attractions and exhibitions priced separately.

Amazing place! One full day might not be enough to enjoy all of it. This is a great example how something done during USSR can be maintained, repurposed and improved in a great park and tourist attraction. All the buildings of the different countries are fantastic and feature mini-museums and even small shops with each country's unique products.
Krasen H — Google review
A great place to visit with a lot of pavilions for different countries that were part of the USSR and also for different domains such as Space, Nuclear energy, Transportations and so on. I came early in the morning to enjoy the beautiful architecture of these pavilions and from about 10:30~11:00 I visited some of the many museums, since they open quite "late" If You want to fully enjoy that huge place and a few museums, consider staying the whole day !

The grandeur of the façade was understandably beyond the norm. The temporary exhibition was interesting to see; however, it disrupted the overall theme and differed from what I had expected to be on display. Nevertheless, it was still a worthwhile place to visit.

Sokolniki Park, named after the royal falconry that once took place in its dense forest, was established by Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich. Over the years, it has been transformed with updated lawns, landscaped ponds, picnic areas, a summer cinema and theater, a rose garden, sports grounds, and bicycle paths. The park features 8 alleys forming 9 sectors with trees of the same breed in each sector.
The place is magically beautiful and huge, if you are looking for a long walk and want to clear your mind, you must visit it, unfortunately i didn't discover it until the very last days of my trip. If you want a quiet place, avoid going on the weekend. it has different activities like play area, roses park...

I have a deja-vu feeling that I was already prompted to share my opinion of Sokolniki park. Oh well, I can write like like Tolstoy, quantity wise at least ) The park is very old, I looked up old maps and general shape and main roads, cutting through it, were formed around the time of Peter the Great. Recently it was modernised with hip summer benches and nice walkways. Rosarium is a great garden within a garden. Chekhov used to party and drink here with his friends. Now I am sure that I was mentioning it before. Shall I write new park impressions every week now?) Google maps prompts me!

A very good shopping mall in Moscow. Very big and have many different stores it’s near to metro just around 5 minutes walk from voykovskaya metro station. I visited this mall because there’s a store of quicksilver and billabong and I like clothes of these brands and it has many other stores like Nike, Adidas originals and all. It has some restaurants at top floor and some coffee shops also. It’s a good mall for shopping.

Yeah u can call it a good decent mall with almost everything one is looking for (ofcoz in a shopping mall). I personally found it as an average coz i dint find a lot of variety in product. If u compare it to other malls here in moscow its not up to mark like for me i dint find a lot of variety in clothing (yeah there were brands ofcoz but not updated stocks). anyways it was my first visit so u should take my words as 1st time guest. Food court was good. There is this one giftshop i recommend u to visit (srry i dont remember the exact name) it has good stuff. Best thing is its very near to metro😘

Metropolis is a very interesting shopping mall, it is the host for most of the top brands. The mall has a good location is very accessible. The parking spots can be found at any time. It was a good shopping experience as i could find a lot of discounts and promotions as well.

Big mall with a lot of shops. God deam, I’m lost in it! 🤣 But my wife is real appreciate that mall. But, parking is badly. To small parking places, you need to do too many turns to find a exit. You know what? This mall it’s too big to be good.
Стас Г — Google review
It’s like being in Europe Modern architecture gives you a sense of incredible breadth, it’s easy to keep a social distance! Interior Thoughtful and pleasant interior design, beautiful, quiet music. Toilets In toilets (2nd floor) there is a non-contact sensory systematic hand washing, which includes: soap, water, dryer. Food (3rd floor) There are plenty of restaurants and cafés on the third floor for all tastes. There are Mcdonald’s, Sea Sea, Uruk, etc. 2nd floor There are many boutiques on the 2nd floor (Massimo Duti, Crocs, etc.). 1st floor On the 1st floor is the entrance to the two-storey Uniqlo clothing store. Disabled There are facilities for disabled persons - wheelchairs. Where to relax? There is a recreation area where you can rest after a long and tedious shopping. Need information? There are electronic information counters where you can find out the information you need about the location of the boutique or shop. Speaking of transport... You can get directly from Metropolis via the internal passage to the MCC (station Baltiyskaya). And metro station Vojkovskaya is a 5-minute walk from the entrance to the shopping center. Also buses T6, T43 and 905, bus stop "metro Vojkovskaya".

Place is alright, various quisines are at your disposal. Vietnamese, Fish, Uzbek, Cyprus etc, prices are reasonable, atmosphere is friendly. If you are hungry and not too particular in regard to elegant and secluded environment, it's your perfect choice. Not too noisy and people are decent. Decorations are a bit on hipster side. Not a bad place overall, but a bit on street food level. Or maybe I was overly sensitive and not hungry enough... )

Probka is a restaurant in Moscow that is run by celebrity chef Aram Mnatsakanov. The menu focuses on traditional Italian dishes, with local ingredients used and high quality ingredients. The restaurant has an open and welcoming atmosphere, with stylish minimalist furnishings, a constantly busy kitchen, and large street-facing windows.
I always enjoy the same meals that have become better and better throughout the years of being a frequent visitor. I do wish the ladies at the seating table would shift their attitude and not make it seem like the people coming inside are observed by bouncers. It creates mixed feelings, when you just want to enjoy a quiet meal by yourself in the hustle of a work weekday, but have to convince them you're worthy of having a place at the bar.

Beautiful place, gets really busy. Good food and wine, great service. I was a bit upset about our table, upon reservation I asked for a good table, but eventually we got a very small for 3 ppl table, right in the aisle. At the same moment there were many couples at much bigger tables. Also tiramisu was so-so.

Overall good experience. Decent italian and European cuisine. White fish fillet on a bed of tomatoes wad fresh and nice, but the choice of the vegetables to go with the fish seemed a bit too much. The tomatoes were to intense to go together with the fish. Pasta with tuna was too heavy and tuna overcooked. Great selection of appetizers. Good service, however the chef could not customise pasta with mushrooms for us. Special r to the strawberry merengue, this dessert been in the menu for the last 5 or more years, but still is one of my favourite.

Perhaps I expected something different, but this cannot be sold for money. The burger is not a burger, but a cutlet like for dumplings in white bread. The chicken schnitzel tastes like fish. The only decent dish is hummus. It feels like they’re not cooking themselves, they’re just warming them up. Not another foot. Oh yes, the hum of the refrigerator as background music (Original) Фу. One of my favorites in Moscow. First the entrance is so grand and you feel you might be entering a palace. The park is so huge that’s it’s hard to cover all of it. There are walking areas, cycling areas, small stores for food, a fountain and we were fortunate to see a small musical show of it (see video), playing areas and more. One can totally spend a full day here.

Central Park is not close to what this amazing green park has to offer - most importantly SAFE and full of nature. Amazing highly recommended to visit when in Moscow

I recently visited this park along the Moscow River in Russia, and it proved to be a delightful experience. While the park was undergoing renovations, limiting my exploration within, the stroll along the Moscow River more than made up for it. The serene ambiance and scenic views provided a soothing escape. I can only imagine how wonderful it will be once the renovations are complete. Definitely worth a visit, especially for the picturesque river walk!

Thanks to THE Scorpions song, I already knew its existence before that thought of visiting Russia back before 2016 It is a really big park with lots of gardens, activities, food stalls, concert areas, long lines of benches by the canal, jogging tracks, various plants trees and flowers and many more in store I was walking with my friend towards the sunset in spring and summer season and loving each and every step. Out of awareness, I walked from one Metro Station to the other, and the next one!! Well I wish it has more portable toilets but I think this park is a MUST visit for everyone I really want to come back here next year! See you real soon Gorky!

What a nice leisurely park. It is massive in size and clean. What makes it safer is it attracts a lot of tourists and localities. You may see military events happening there on special occasions. The park is popular among localities and tourists. You can spot bars and cafes. Floral beautification is incredible. You can find playing courts, lakes and enjoy boating there. The end of the Gorky park touches banks the Moskva river. The place is ideal for capturing some stunning views of Moscow city. I took a taxi from Christ the Saviour church to Gorky Park. It is a highly recommended place to visit.

The State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow is a must-visit for art enthusiasts. Established in 1856 by Pavel Tretyakov, it started as a private collection and has now grown to over 180,000 pieces of Russian art. The gallery showcases the evolution of Russian art from medieval religious icons to contemporary works. It houses iconic pieces by renowned Russian artists such as Ivan Aivazovsky, Ilya Repin, and Viktor Vasnetsov.
Rainy day is a perfect day for art. This gallery is a place for inspiration for all art lovers. It’s vast and better plan spending 4-5 hours there. I took audio guide and was lost in time. Love it.

The Tretyakov Gallery is a true cultural treasure — a place where you can walk through centuries of Russian art under one roof. From iconic works by Repin and Vasnetsov to ancient icons and bold modernism, it’s a journey through the soul of the country. Well-organized, with calm halls and powerful energy. ➕ Unmatched collection of Russian art Beautiful building and well-curated exhibitions Easy to navigate and not overly crowded on weekdays Audio guides and descriptions in English available

Kramskoy, Vasnetsov, Serov, Repin, Savitsky—to name only a few—are represented in the Tretyakov Gallery, which offers an overwhelming feast for the eyes of art lovers. The museum displays countless masterpieces I had only read about: The Unknown Woman (often called the Russian Mona Lisa), Morning in a Pine Forest (Alenka chocolate wrappers), Ivan the Terrible and His Son Ivan, and a striking portrait of Pushkin, among others. After just 40 minutes, my mind was flooded with a surge of impressions and information. With 62 rooms to explore, this is clearly not a one-day museum. The entrance fee of 700 rubles is a bargain.
Kye — Google review
Very disappointing experience at the Tretyakov Gallery I visited the Tretyakov Gallery on September 25 and had a very disappointing experience. The website, the online tickets, and even the entrance signs all clearly stated that the museum would close at 9 PM. However, at 7:30 PM everyone was suddenly told to leave because of a private event — something that had never been announced anywhere. No one, not even the security staff, seemed to know about this early closure. The situation was handled poorly, and some staff were rude and unhelpful. It was also surprising that no one at the information desk spoke English in such a major international museum. Because of this, I had to completely change my travel plans and return the next day, buying new tickets and audioguides. Unfortunately, one of the main reasons for my visit — the famous Girl with Peaches — was not on display that day. Although I later received a refund for the first day’s tickets, the gallery’s response ignored the other issues I raised and fell far below my expectations.

Art museums can sometimes feel overwhelming, filled with endless hallways and masterpieces you're not sure how to appreciate. But the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow was different. Stepping inside felt like stepping into a warm embrace of Russian art history. Maybe it was the way the chronological layout unfolded Russia's artistic journey, or perhaps the sheer passion for Russian culture that resonated from every canvas. One of the things that surprised me most was the sheer diversity of styles on display. From the deeply religious icon paintings of the early days to the bold strokes of the avant-garde, the Tretyakov Gallery showcased the evolution of Russian art in a way I hadn't seen before. But it wasn't just about the artistic movements. Certain paintings jumped out at me, leaving a lasting impression. The Appearance of Christ by Alexander Ivanov was the one of the iconic piece of the museum. The Tretyakov Gallery wasn't just a museum; it felt like a conversation with the soul of Russia. It allowed me to understand the country's history, culture, and emotions through the eyes of its greatest artists.

A very big gallery with great artwork (if you're a fan of it). You need at least a couple of hours to see all of it. The ticket is 500 rubbles for adults. But I'd recommend the Shimov gallery. Much more impressive.
Vasilis K — Google review
The State Tretyakov Gallery is a remarkable art museum that boasts an impressive collection of over 180,000 Russian works spanning multiple centuries. My first visit to this iconic institution was nothing short of inspiring. As a philatelist, I was already familiar with many of the paintings displayed here, having collected numerous stamps featuring artworks from the gallery. This connection made my experience even more special, as I was able to see these masterpieces in person for the first time. The gallery's layout is thoughtfully designed, allowing visitors to journey through the evolution of Russian art. From the early icons to the bold works of the 20th century, each piece tells a story and reflects the rich cultural heritage of Russia. I found myself captivated by the detailed brushwork and the emotions captured in each painting. The names of the artists, such as Ilya Repin and Ivan Shishkin, were not just words to me; they represented a deep-seated appreciation cultivated during my studies in art history at a young age. Moreover, the atmosphere of the gallery is steeped in history, which adds to its charm. Walking through the halls, I felt a profound connection to the past, as if the spirits of the artists lingered in the air. This gallery is not merely a collection of paintings; it is a testament to the creativity and resilience of the Russian people. In conclusion, my visit to The State Tretyakov Gallery was a deeply enriching experience that inspired me both as an art enthusiast and a collector. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking to understand the essence of Russian art and culture.

The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour stands as a stunning testament to Russian architecture and spirituality, with its gleaming domes and intricately frescoed interiors. Rebuilt in the 1990s after its original construction was completed in the 19th century, this magnificent structure serves not only as a place of worship but also as a historic landmark commemorating Russia's victory over Napoleon in 1812.
The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour is a magnificent testament to Russia's history and faith. Its golden domes pierce the Moscow skyline, a symbol of resilience and spiritual strength. Built to commemorate Russia's victory over Napoleon, the cathedral was tragically demolished during the Soviet era. However, it was later rebuilt, standing as a beacon of hope and a reminder of the country's rich heritage. Stepping inside, visitors are awed by the cathedral's grandeur and intricate details. The soaring ceilings, ornate frescoes, and peaceful atmosphere create a truly spiritual experience. Whether you're seeking a moment of quiet reflection or simply admiring the stunning architecture, the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour is a must-visit destination in Moscow.

A beautiful architectural work in the Orthodox capital of Moscow, with a remarkable history. The Cathedral of Christ the Savior is the most important church in Moscow, even more important than St. Basil's Cathedral. The church has a unique and strange history that spans from the 19th century to the present day. In addition, it is also the tallest Orthodox temple in the world. The location of the church is near the Kremlin and next to the Moskva River. A must-visit place when visiting Moscow.

Nestled alongside the Kremlin's western wall, Alexander Garden is a delightful oasis in the heart of Moscow. This expansive park comprises three distinct gardens adorned with vibrant summer blooms and meticulously arranged flower beds that shift colors with the seasons. Visitors can marvel at several monuments, including a tribute to Marshal Georgy Zhukov and the poignant Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where an eternal flame burns and a ceremonial changing of the guard occurs every hour.
This is a beautiful place for a long walk which takes you through the gardens with the Kremlin wall on one side and bridges and statues along the way. We did this a couple of times as a nice way to enter the Kremlin.

Alexander Garden in Moscow is a peaceful park in the middle of the city. It's full of green plants and pretty flowers. You can walk around, relax near fountains, and enjoy nature. It's a great place to take a break, especially because it's close to famous places like the Kremlin and Red Square. Whether you're from Moscow or visiting, Alexander Garden is a lovely spot to unwind and explore.

Established in 1821 by architect Osip Bove, the garden was created to commemorate Russia's victory over Napoleon in 1812. It features well-manicured lawns, colorful flower beds, and monuments, including the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, an eternal flame dedicated to Soviet soldiers who died in World War II.

Alexander Garden is a hidden gem right next to the Kremlin and Red Square — a perfect place to unwind while still surrounded by history. The park is beautifully landscaped, with flower beds, walking paths, fountains, and plenty of benches to relax and take in the scenery. One of the most moving sights here is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier with the Eternal Flame, guarded by an honor guard and accompanied by an hourly changing of the guards — a must-see moment of respect and tradition. The garden also features lovely monuments, including ones dedicated to famous Russian figures and war heroes. The blend of nature and history makes it a calm and reflective space in the heart of bustling Moscow. Whether you're taking a quiet stroll, snapping photos, or learning about Russia’s past, Alexander Garden is a wonderful stop. It's clean, well-kept, and easily accessible — perfect for a short break during your exploration of the Kremlin and Red Square area.

Undoubtedly the best pizzeria in Moscow. I could come here every single day, seriously. While literally all their menus are appealing, I strongly recommend trying the pizza alla bergamasca. This one has a FANTASTIC taste: the prosciutto, the marvelous and most important gorgonzola cheese (Italian blue cheese), and the crispy dough combine and offer an exquisite gastronomical experience!! Their burrata is also the best in Moscow thanks to the sweet and fresh cherry tomatoes soaked in olive oil. As for the dessert, please go get that millefeuille. It is so flavorful, refreshing, and marvelous!!!
Seyoung K — Google review
Good place with a nice and intimate atmosphere. As about meals, the pinza that we shared as a starter was delicious (Trentina). Then we enjoyed a delicious steak, perfectly cooked, from a high quality meat, and a very tasty risotto. Portions are quite small so you may want to order sides. For deserts, the tiramisu and the cheesecake were delicious. A bad point though: we wanted another desert with our coffee at 22:55 and the waitress said that it was not possible because the kitchen had already closed. A good point is that the chef was walking around in the restaurant.

Visited this place twice. The place is very popular, so you need to book a couple of days in advance. First time there I ordered only pinza and desert, all was very delicious. The second time I tried the following: Roman style veal escalope with prosciutto and sage - was a bit disappointed with this dish. Meat was too dry, portion was tiny for the price. Pinza with speck and truffles - tried it during my first visit and ordered again. Awesome, especially if you like truffles! Pinza with prosciutto - delicious Lime and cucumber lemonade - was too sweet to my taste. Did not taste lime that much. For parents: the place has a chair for babies

Very nice staff which is always ready to help you. They all speak English very well. The ingredients all seem of good quality and very fresh. I wonder how they got them around the sanctions. The burata is almost like in Italy and the pizza is delicious.

Pinza is a meal similar to pizza, but the tortilla is consisted of barley, oats and millet. The rest of the dish is very similar to standard pizzas. I may say the taste is quite good and the pinza-base is crunchier than a pizza. The restaurant is very busy, so you have to do a reservation first, no matter the time of the day.

This former apartment-turned-restaurant boasts an intimate atmosphere popular among students, intellectuals, and artistic types.
Super cozy place! Good food and live music too! Not sure if that's so every day, but we've been enjoying some quality piano pop song renditions. Unexpected, but welcome. The pianist was playing chess while playing too! What a guy! Also, the cat wants hugs. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. Will definitely visit again. Great sculpture collection...and they all clearly say they're plaster casts, so the museum isn't trying to trick anyone. Make sure you get a ticket for both buildings, the European artist collection in the gallery next to the main building is one if the best I've seen. Oh and dont forget to get a ticket for any travelling exhibits, there was a Picasso one when u visited, I couldn't believe my luck. Also dont miss out on the Cathedral of Christ the saviour, directly across the road.

To visit the museum you have to buy tickets in advance on the museum's website. There are available time slots with steps of 15 min between them. The main building contents a large collection of copies of the famous sculptures by their epochs. There in museum it is allowed to make the pictures and to sketch with a charcoal on a paper sized no more than A4. If you choose not crowded day, it is a calm place to explore and sketch the items.
Yuri N — Google review
Painting exposition in the main building is quite boring. There are no any special art examples. Nice Egypt and Mesopotamia halls. Beautiful sculpture hall. Sometimes there can be good temporary exhibitions, like Bill Viola in the first half of 2021.

It was a nice to go here even though I got rejected with my EU Vaccination certificate at the first time. They don’t accept European vaccines. Please bring a PCR test with you to enjoy this museum. It’s a great place to go to when visiting Moscow during pandemic.

This museum is rich in art and the architecture of the building. It's not gigantic, but you will get to travel through ancient greece and 15th - 16th century art. Many of which are reproductions (statues) molden on the originals. If you forget about the facy they are reproductions and you spend some time looking at the art and the yeats when they were actually made, you will be pleasantly surprised to find out that the srill date multiple centuries ago and deserve just as much respect. Got the chance to view original study drawings that inspired bigger pieces and it's very inspiring. Seeing the process and the approach of these masters of art when they were in search of perfection is truly worth your time. I enjoyed analyzing these different drawings, the strokes and the details which came to eventually create some of the world renowed pieces we came to all know.
Dragos C — Google review
The museum is quite compact and takes 2-3 hours to see. But not be tricked by its modest size, the collection is really gorgeous, especially Schukin exhibition. I was so amazed how the man managed to collect so many masterpieces in his lifetime In my opinion the place is must to visit in Moscow
Andrei S — Google review
The London School Exhibit was amazing. I have no words to describe the level of excitement of seeing the work of Lucius Freud and Francis Bacon. The museum in general has a interesting selection of works from bizantine art, Italian and Germanic Renaissance. It also has a display of egipcian and Greek artifacts. What is special about this museum is that some of the rooms have thematic decors related to the exhibit.
Valentina A — Google review
Nice art collection though not for art connoisseurs. Time has to be invested for a good visit of this museum, since it holds a lot of art pieces that deserve such time. Sculptures, ceramics, and paintings make up the main part of the exhibition. A great fine arts museum, since Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece and Rome art to Botticelli’s paintings. Some masterpieces: Rembrandt, Veronese, Botticelli, Rubens, Degas, Matisse, Miró, and many others are found here. Imagine seeing Impressionists one-on-one: almost private setting without selfie-making tourist crowds. In modern times you have to go to Moscow to experience that. Beautiful collection, well laid out, well explained (great curator work). Russian Impressionists were a revelation. Very enjoyable visit.

Historical landmark
The Bolshoi Theatre is a lavish neoclassical repertory theater in Moscow, Russia, renowned for hosting the world-famous Bolshoi Ballet and Bolshoi Opera. While visiting Moscow, it's essential to explore iconic landmarks like the Kremlin and St. Basil's Cathedral. The area around Red Square offers significant points of interest, including the grand GUM department store and panoramic views from the Children's World department store rooftop.
I had the chance to attend a theatrical play at the Bolshoi Theatre, and it was an unforgettable experience. The venue itself is majestic, full of history and elegance. The atmosphere, the staging, the actors’ performances—everything was of exceptional quality. It was truly a privilege to witness such a moment in such an iconic theatre.
Fayçal S — Google review
I’ve just been there to watch Marco Spada ballet. Everything was fine, I could easily buy a ticket on spot a day before the show and the woman could speak English very well so it was convenient. The theater itself is very unique and beautiful, the show was very good. Staff were friendly and tried to help me which I appreciate. The only problem I had and that’s why I’m not giving it a 5 star was the uncomfortable chair. For a 3 hour show and for about 10000 RUB money I paid for the ticket, I expect to sit on a comfortable chair, the back was solid wood and it was really irritating. I hope they do something about these chairs.
Faranak G — Google review
Visited more than 200 times but I prefer new stage next to historical stage. Very easy to enjoy the ballet more! You can buy ticket one or two months in advance online woth Russian credit cards since 2022.
Miki T — Google review
They rent binoculars for the performance, but I recommend bringing your own if you can. Tickets are on the pricier side for Russia, you're partly paying for the prestige of the theater. In other cities, you can often see great ballet for much less.
Guillermo — Google review
Did not get the opportunity to watch theatre here but just saw the theatre and that itself was surreal. The theatre is simply magnificent - a truly majestic masterpiece and a must see when in Moscow.
Natalie P — Google review
Infront of these theatre has a lovely park to see and visit, sadly it was summer season when i visited and no events available to see.
Joferd P — Google review
I only gave it two starts because the play was absolutely phenomenal. Art deserved to be appreciated. However, I was cheated on the amount I have paid when I have received a ticket that states an amount of 20k rubel (which I have paid 29k rubel). When I have asked for a partial refund since this is not the deserved amount, they simply decided to blame the service fee (almost 155%). Beats me, can’t do anything since I’m only a tourist right? Beware when purchasing tickets.
F - — Google review
A masterpiece of opulence and history, but also a test of patience. The Bolshoi Theatre is breathtaking—ornate interiors, world-class performances, and that undeniable grandeur of Russian ballet and opera. But be prepared: the ticketing process can be a maze, staff aren’t exactly overflowing with warmth, and if you’re in the cheaper seats, expect some “creative” sightlines. Still, once the curtain rises, all is forgiven. An absolute must-visit, even if just to say you’ve been.

BURO TSUM

Restaurant
Perched on the top floor of Moscow's renowned TsUM department store, BURO TSUM boasts a luxurious dining experience with panoramic views of the cityscape. The menu is a fusion of global flavors, offering everything from delicate dishes to bold and tangy creations. Guests can savor dishes like tuna carpaccio with lime miso, halloumi with tomato harissa, fillet steak with black chanterelles and truffles, and grilled meat or fish.
Lovely restaurant in the top floor of a famous shopping store. The staff was polite and accommodating. The pelmeni was delicious. The honey cake was delicious but made in a different way. There was a bit more cream. It was lovely and light. The music was a bit loud for me. Other than that, I enjoyed my lunch. Absolutely recommended.
Fernanda M — Google review
Tasty food, stylish interior This is a nice place on the highest level of TSUM department store. The menu is rather big, you can try good-quality food in every section (appetizers, main dishes and desserts). They also offer breakfasts in the morning: eggs options, porridges, pastry, dishes made with milk and other food. Really tasty food, portions are big. Cozy interior and nice summer rooftop terrace with a view on the city center. Staff is polite and smiley.

One of my favourite restaurant in Moscow. The most welcoming stuff have professional behaviour. Form the atmosphere vibe the restaurant have beautiful vibe I love it. And the food as a foodie person I love it so much specially the egg Benedict they have unique one.

The staff were so rude. And almost all of them were either talking to each other or using their phones. We had to wait for 15 mins for someone to come to take our order even though the restaurant was almost empty of customers. The only polite staff member was the guy taking our jackets he was so nice to us. Food wise the food was decent .

Although it is inside a shopping one but it is surprisingly very good. Nice and pleasant decor and ambulance. Friendly but a bit slow service. International items on the menu but they are quite delicious.

I mean, if you’re tired from all the shopping and want to go chill, sure, come here. In terms of views, cool aesthetic on the top floor of TSUM. Very nice interior. Okay let’s get down to it. Food: honestly? It’s nothing special. Made me appreciate all the EU restaurants I’ve been to for their flavor. Slightly disappointed with my starter, the chicken was cold, the main was bland. I mean, again, you’re here to just take a bite and move on. BUT! the brunch actually looks divine. I think Brunch is where it’s at here Drinks: ooooo, ok!!! Yes, they have fantastic lemonades and selection of teas. Service: it’s alright, some staff are very friendly and had one occasion where the waiter was quite arrogant. But after all you are the waiter if you’re waiting for a waiter;) BUT!!! If you have any dietary restrictions/allergies/etc the restaurant is very willing to accommodate (even the most picky eaters!!)

Nice upscale diner. Don't let the outside fool you (when I went, the exterior at the elevator was just blank white walls; looked like construction). The interior decor of the restaurant is very nice. We only went for coffee. The Raf Vanilla (a Russian coffee like a creamy cappuccino) is fantastic. We told them we didn't have much time because we were going to the theatre. They made the drinks and brought our bill promptly. Much appreciated!

Pel'meni is a Russian dish that resembles Chinese dumplings and Polish pierogi. It's considered a national dish and is best enjoyed with sour cream and vodka. This dish can be found all over Moscow, offering various fillings to try. The food is authentic, delicious, and reasonably priced. The service is fast and friendly, although English may not be spoken at some locations. Overall, it's a great place to experience genuine Russian cuisine in the heart of Moscow.
This was my first meal in Russia and I quite liked the food. I had borscht, dumplings and salad olivie. All was fine!
Elif T — Google review
Good food but the staff doesn't speak English at all. Second restaurant in Moscow. Let's see the third one. English music again. They don't know how to be nice with tourists. I guess.. Mistery. Why a sex on the beach has the same price as a coffee or as a fresh orange juice. It's alcohol cheap here or it's the coffee expensive?

If you’re in Moscow and want a place where you can eat genuinely good Russian food, come here. Absolutely love this place! A family favorite. The food is super affordable and AMAZING. Truly tasty. The waiters are friendly, though don’t speak English - lucky enough for my family that we all speak Russian. Service is quick and they recommend lovely dishes too. Drinks are also 10/10, if you can, try the kompot.

We ate soup (Solyanka and Chicken noodle) and two kinds of pelmeni. Everything was top quality and very delicious. In comparison with other "more touristy" places this one is really much better (saying that as a person who cooks the same dishes at home). Georgian wine was exquisite as well.

Hotel Baltschug Kempinski Moscow is a luxurious 5-star hotel located in a prime spot facing the Kremlin across the Moskva River. The hotel offers elegant rooms with high ceilings and custom-designed suites, featuring plush interiors by renowned designers. It boasts exquisite fine dining, business and leisure facilities that meet international luxury standards. The neoclassical facade designed by famous architect Alexander Ivanov adds to its charm.
I stayed in this wonderful hotel for 6 days. Starting from its location, rooms, breakfast menu, and all related services; everything was excellent. Above all, the hotel management remained very helpful in booking and purchasing our train tickets and hotel bookings at St. Petersburg. Hotel staff is polite, responsive, and indeed very helpful. They even accommodated us for storing our luggage for 5 days at no extra cost. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, for which I am grateful to hotel management. A wonderful experience indeed. Keep up the great work.

One of Moscow’s best value luxury hotels, IMHO – serious bang for your buck. Superb location, tasty breakfast, stunning views, and rooms that fully meet the standard. Service can be hit-or-miss but is decent overall.

Rooms are so old but they keep it clean. Also, the view from the river-sided rooms is amazing. However, be careful of the adapter they will charge you if you use it even if you return it to them. The service is abysmal, they need courses on friendliness and hospitality especially the reception. And the smell when you go inside the hotel’s hallway is awful. It always smells like onion.

Greetings from New York, I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Baltschug Kempinski Moscow in March 2025, and I wanted to share my sincere appreciation for a truly exceptional experience. The hotel is in a prime location with stunning views over Red Square, and the room size was very generous and comfortable. But what truly made my stay memorable was the outstanding service from every team member I encountered—from the doormen and front desk team, to the restaurant staff, housekeeping, and bar team. Every interaction was warm, professional, and thoughtful. A special moment I’ll never forget: on the day of my departure, I was headed to Saint Petersburg by train when I realized I had left my briefcase in the lobby. I immediately called the hotel, and the team had already secured it for me. When I returned, everything was perfectly intact. Their honesty and care meant so much. I would especially like to thank Helen Gobonova for assisting me with the lost item, and give a very special thank you to Maria Gridneva, whose kindness and support stood out throughout my entire stay. From the moment she personally walked me to my room on arrival and explained all the amenities, to answering my questions each day, and even helping me book a flight to Saint Petersburg after I missed my train — Maria went above and beyond in every way. Also, heartfelt thanks to Alexandra at the bar for her warm hospitality. Everyone at the hotel made me feel truly welcomed and cared for. Thank you again, and I look forward to staying with you again soon.

The location is fabulous, you can see the Kremlin and Vasili Blazenjev church from most of the rooms. By the way, they are a little bit small. Servicse was good, Breakfast not with a great variety but excellent quality and service was fast and very polite and helpful. The prices are high, but what you usuually bay for a hotel is 3 things : location, location, location. It is an excellent choice if you really want to stay at the heart of Moscow, especially during New Years Eve (Novi God) and other special occasions. It is worth the cost.

Park
Located in Moscow, the Moscow Zoo is a conservation and educational institute that houses over 8,000 animals from around the world. Initially established as a small park with only 286 mammal species in the mid-19th century, it has since grown into one of Europe's most visited zoos and Russia's top zoo destination. The diverse collection includes gorillas, polar bears, elephants, white whales, pandas, Siberian tigers, and giraffes among others.
Amazing well-planned out zoo. A great variety of animals, there were playgrounds for the children, and numerous food stalls. There’s a map of the zoo at the entrance displaying the Old and New Territories of the zoo. If you want to see everything, plan 2.5-3hrs without rushing.

My favorite lovely zoo in Moscow. I like the branding of it and of course it has a lot of things to see. I really like the pandas there and I make sure to buy a souvenir panda everytime I'm there. I recommend you to buy tickets online if possible!

A wonderful zoo. It is simply huge. Plan what you want to see right away, because it is not possible to see everything in one day. I strongly recommend coming as early as possible, because closer to the middle of the day a huge crowd of visitors appears in the park and it becomes really difficult. In general, the park is simply wonderful, large. There are many animals, they are well-groomed and cool. The enclosures are spacious and comfortable for animals. One of the best places to visit in Moscow.

We recently visited the Moscow Zoo, and while it was a pleasant experience, it felt quite basic, similar to the Old Zoo Park in Dubai. Here are a few things to keep in mind: - Timing Matters: It's better to visit on a weekday. We went on a weekend, and it was extremely busy and crowded. We had to wait in line for tickets and at the entrance for 45 minutes. The crowd inside made it difficult for the kids to see many animals. - Language Barrier: The staff do not speak English, so it's helpful to have a translation app ready. - Ticket Requirements: Every person, including children under two, must have a ticket. We had to go back and get two more tickets because the staff didn't understand us, even with the help of Google Translate. Make sure everyone, including babies, has a ticket. - Play ground: at the end of the zoo, they have a kids play area which is less busy and the kids enjoyed playing there. Personally, I wouldn't visit this zoo again, but if you have kids, it's worth going at least once for them to enjoy the weather. Just avoid weekends if possible.
Na3meh - — Google review
My visit was on the weekdays at I had to wait for 30 minutes just to get the tickets and another 20 minutes to enter the zoo. It was crowded, and for a tourist like me, there were no English signs, only Russian signs. They will not consider 3 years old child or below for a ticket. So we bought 3 tickets which cost around 2700 ruble. Not expensive. I wish if it was a little bit organised.

Moscow Zoo, largest zoo in Russia, exhibiting an outstanding collection of northern animals and many exotic species. Founded by a public society in 1864, the zoo later was privately owned. Since 2015, the museum has been open to the public and everyone. In the central and side halls there is an exposition devoted to the history of the Moscow Zoo and a natural science permanent exposition. The collection of the museum includes more than 10,000 zoo coat of arms from all over the world, hundreds of paintings, sculptures and drawings by the masters of Russian animalistics, such as Vasily Vatagin, Alexei Komarov, Vadim Trofimov, Andrei Marts and Alexei Tsvetkov.

Evropeysky, also known as Yevropeyskiy, is a large and modern shopping and entertainment center located near the Kievsky Railway station and Kievskaya metro station in Moscow.
We visited Moscow (from Germany) early April and stayed at the Radisson Slavanskaya Hotel. This shopping center was nearby and became our "2nd home" for 10 days. Whether it was for changing money, going shopping, going out to eat or for a drink - you find everything here. This place is clean, modern, an eye catcher! Super place. Спасибо большое 💜🇷🇺

This large modern shopping center gave me pleasure not as a buyer (although everything is fine here too), but as a connoisseur of architecture and beautiful modern interiors. Just a delightful combination of color and light. water, interior and dynamics of moving parts (elevators). Fascinating! The kids stand and watch with their mouths open. And in the evening, the gorgeous lighting of the building makes it difficult to simply pass by! It's definitely worth stopping and taking a closer look! It's also attractive in terms of interior, easily accessible, located in city center and there are many shops/brands available inside.

This is modern, good design, pleasant shopping mall with 70% of fancy shops and 30% of budget adequate-price shops. I would add more tables in food court area (because it is quite difficult to find place to seat during hot hours - lunch/dinner time) and more sofas to rest during shopping off breaks 😁

Poklonnaya Hill, one of Moscow's highest points, holds historical significance as a place where Westerners used to pay homage before entering the city. It has withstood invasions by Napoleon and Hitler and now stands as a symbol of Russia's military strength. At the top lies Victory Park, featuring World War II displays, a war museum, and memorials for war victims. The park also offers scenic walks and houses a memorial mosque and synagogue.

Epic and historic park! Make sure you visit here when you are in Moscow! The monuments are large and meaningful. The park celebrates various victories throughout history. There is a chilling Holocaust Memorial Sculpture here that you should definitely visit. There are restrooms all over the place, as well as a large play area for kids. Once you pass the main museum there are many scenic paths to walk on to reach other areas of the park. In springtime there are lots of colorful flowers and the trees are big and green. Come here with the whole family for the whole day. There are lots of food spots serving many classic Russian foods. Coffee shops and ice cream spots are also here. Being one of the highest points in Moscow the views are fantastic.

The Russian memorial park is a unique place. There is a beautiful museum inside which is a MUST SEE. Don't forget to get inside the main hall with the great statue as once in a few minutes it becomes a magnificent theatre presenting you a very impressive show about the 2ww. Also I recommend buying the 400 rural ticket and not the 300. As it gives you enter the authentic planes and arms area.
VGK G — Google review
Impressive park with several war monuments as well as a beautiful tower and a surrounding building housing a museum. The museum was relatively cheap and worth the visit with many related items and reconstruction of pivotal scenes of the war. It's pretty close to a metro station and other interesting sites as well... there's a nice view overlooking the city too!
Mostafa S — Google review
If you're interested in WWII, then this is a must-see. Great exhibitions, not all items have English texts, but a seriously impressive museum dedicated mostly to the Soviet participation but also detailing parts of the Allies' efforts.
Steinar H — Google review
It was pretty amazing to see such a remarkable site dedicated to the struggle, suffering and tremendous victory of Soviet People and allies!!! Although we have learned a lot about it and my country has suffered a great in the WW II one tend to forget some hard facts! Hopefully never again!!! Museum has two parts, museum building which leads you through the most important battles which are depicted with marveles diorems, from Stalingrad to Berlin. Exhibits from civilian life to soliders equipment, allies and enemies, life before and after the war. Second part is museum in open consistent of war mashinery on ground, sea and air, Soviet, allies and enemy. It is pretty huge so if going with children would recommend two days for the outdoor part is perfect as a playground. For sure something worth visiting regardless of political views! Most of descriptions are on English as well, but could be bit better and this is my only remark!

Afimall City is a contemporary shopping destination situated in Moscow's renowned business district, the Moscow International Business Center. The mall's striking modern architecture harmonizes with the surrounding skyscrapers, making it an intriguing visit for both its retail offerings and its controversial yet legendary design. Boasting a vast array of stores, Afimall City presents visitors with options ranging from upscale fashion to home decor and dining experiences.
Perfectly for people coming from central Moscow to Moscow city ; metro located in the mall you Dont have to go out. Most of the Russian brands are available ( clothing shoes books cinema perfume supermarket ) only we didn’t fine a kids playing area .. perfect food court with all fast food. The last floor were the movie is located has all the restaurants we dined in a sushi place - sticks very very good!

This mall is super large, but, surprisingly, does have a very nice parking lot (cost-wise in particular). It has practically everything, but it is too large to feel comfortable here. Overall, we did enjoy our time here just walking and looking around.
Evgeniya ( — Google review
This mall is the most beautiful and one of the biggest malls, its neat, a lot of lighting, has top designer stores, eateries, kiddies corner and clothes... lots more. The design is awesome with modern facilities and technology.
Uncletravellingdayo — Google review
You'll get lost here. Endless number of stores and endless spots to eat. There's not much to say except I wish the bathrooms were cleaner and people actually wore masks instead of just announcing to everyone that masks are mandatory. But other than that, a nice mall. The trees in the middle were a nice touch.

This is one of the biggest shopping centres in Moscow, located near metro delavoy center light blue line, it is also located in the Moscow international business centre, just a walking distance from Novotel. It has everything you need, from clothing to electronic, there is also food court located on 4th and 5th floor. It's not a mall you ll go to in hurry unless you already know what you need or which shop you ll go to, its so huge that after being on first 2 floors you ll be already tired and just want to go home. Outside the mall is surrounded by amazing skyscrapers with amazing design and there is a river close by with amazing views. I love this place so much.

Loved every minute in this place and the coming season's decorations looked wonderful! Great variety of shops and eateries too , best of all for me was the great interaction I had with staff when using google translator.....when it was needed! FAB-U-LOUS

Great View, very big rooms (junior suite). Too few lifts, long time needed to your room. For dinner better go to a restaurant, otherwise delivery. Breakfast is ok, but a little expensive. Would I come again? I think yes, it is worth it.

Great location for shopping, eating, hanging out. There is also a big world class gym on premise and great events for kids during the weekend.

Marketplace is a vibrant restaurant and market located on Myasnitskaya Street. The establishment offers a modern design, open kitchen, and a diverse menu featuring dishes from around the world at affordable prices. With options like rice noodles with chicken for 209 rubles and Fergana pilaf with mutton and chickpeas for 239 rubles, visitors are enticed to flock here.

(Translated by Google) A pleasant place where you can have a quick and varied meal in the European shopping center. At the entrance you are given a card on which your expenses are recorded. And at the entrance you can pay at the cash desk or self-service point. Several different types of cuisine, you can choose what you like. There are both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. I took white wine and a parmesan appetizer. Chicken in oriental sauce with rice. Unfortunately, the rice turned out to be cold and no longer tasty. Everything else is a strong 4. At rush hour there are a lot of people and it’s a little difficult to find a seat.

(Translated by Google) Lively restaurant, constant movement, because there are no waiters, and the corresponding service. Convenient working hours. The location is chosen wisely, on the 4th floor of the Evropeisky shopping center, in the common area of restaurants and cafes, with its own kitchen. Light design and architecture, the cuisine is fast and varied, the prices are moderate. Payment at the end of the meal, at the exit from the restaurant, on the one hand it is very convenient.

(Translated by Google) Wonderful establishment!! Prices are very reasonable + when ordering from 550 rubles. they give you a glass of wine (you can’t exchange it for another drink - which is a pity, because I don’t drink), the taste of the dishes is super, an excellent balance between speed and freshness (main courses, soups, salads are ready-made, pasta, wok are prepared only to order, and salads You can also make it to order - assemble your own from chopped elements). It is possible to take raw meat home. There is a very interesting payment system - at the entrance you are given a card on which all the dishes you take are written down, and at the exit you pay for everything you ate/drank: cool, I’ve never seen this before. Very beautiful view from the terrace, cozy inside. Overall, very cool! I go every chance I get)) (Original) Прекрасное заведение!!

(Translated by Google) I liked everything - the idea, the interior, the choice of dishes. At the entrance you receive a guest card, then you choose dishes (oven, barbecue, pasta), the chef will heat up your choice and write your choice on the electronic card. You can choose the ingredients and they will prepare your salad for you. There are drinks, delicious mulled wine is prepared. Sit back, pay at the exit - your choice is read, you check and pay. It’s not very convenient to read the names of the dishes on the tags, and not everything is listed with chalk on the board. Maybe you can hang up the screens since you are dealing with electronics. Good luck and keep the quality of the dishes, people come where it's delicious. Create a loyalty program.

(Translated by Google) Were there on 11/15/19 Very beautiful and very tasteless. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The pasta was generally okay, but not for that money, I ate much tastier and much cheaper. The tea was unremarkable at all. But the Napoleon was just awful. I don’t know what was wrong with it, but the whole evening I had a terrible taste in my mouth that I couldn’t cover up with anything, I felt heavy and it felt like I ate something incredibly fatty, like a piece of cheap margarine. My friend didn’t like anything either. She had a different pasta and a different dessert. I would also like to say about the dishes, they are very heavy, given that this is supposedly self-service. I had a plate of pasta, a cup and a plate with a cake on my tray and my arms were already falling off, and I’m not a little girl. Maybe I'll give this place another chance sometime later. But for now I have no desire to go back there at all.

Restaurant
Sixty is a high-altitude restaurant located on the 62nd floor of The Federation Tower in Moscow, offering stunning panoramic views of the city. This pop art-inspired Italian restaurant with French influences provides a vibrant atmosphere and is known for its far-reaching vistas. It's considered one of the highest restaurants in Europe and offers an ideal spot to enjoy Moscow's city lights and night sky.
The restaurant has a great location and nice vibes. Book in advance and choose a spot by the window for the panoramic view. I went at a time when they open the windows, around 7:30 PM.

"The restaurant has a fantastic location with a stunning view. Reservations are required in advance. The menu does not include halal foods options, but the service is excellent. It’s definitely worth a visit."

This review is directed to the rude waiter Anthony. He is unprofessional, has no courtesy in dealing with customers and is annoying. We made a reservation and went to the restaurant. The restaurant is great and the food is good, but the behavior of this waiter made me hate the place. He offered us a steak and we told him we didn't want it. He said, "Why don't you have money? Is it expensive for you?" Is this how a waiter behaves in a high-end place!!! Shame on you Anthony

Fascinating interior with a stunning view on the whole city ✨ the vibes were magical, the food on the other hand was below average, it barely had a taste. I recommend that they improve the quality of their food because the place and vibes were breathtaking.

The view is amazing, really sets the mood. The service could be a bit faster, but overall the experience was great. Everything felt classy but not pretentious, which I liked a lot. Food was top level, especially the appetizers. Would definitely come back.

One of the best restaurants if not the best that I’ve tried so far in Moscow. Loved all the dishes and they have various types of food such as pastas, maki rolls, salads. I especially loved the salad as it was so amazing and tastes so good.
Obaid A — Google review
So, the view is definitely very good. I would never come back for food for sure. Fillet mignon is hard and chewy, mushroom soup was fatty. You don’t taste alcohol in the cocktails for 900₽ price. Salads 600-700₽, main course 1500-2000₽. Deserts around 600₽. I enjoyed tuna cooked on grill, but found it too expensive 1900₽ for 3 small pieces. But the worst - it was very cold at the restaurant. 750₽ for 150ml of wine. More expensive than in Europe. I would not recommend.
Natalia D — Google review
Arguably the best restaurant in Moscow with the view of the entire city. Although the food cost is on a slightly higher side, but this is an experience no visitor should miss while visiting Moscow. The view is even better in Winters when you see white later down below. The ambience is quite modern and decor is well suited for the place. Although it is somewhat difficult to find the entrance for the place of you are visiting for the first time. Seeking directions also in a foreign language might prove difficult, therefore, take a local with you to visit this place.

Russian restaurant
Step into the nostalgic world of Mari Vanna, a Soviet-style decorated restaurant that takes you back 50 years to the former USSR. The cozy and relaxed atmosphere resembles an old Russian home, complete with vintage decor like old bookcases, vases, and antique photo frames. To enter this culinary destination, visitors ring a doorbell at apartment number 10. The menu features traditional Russian comfort food such as borsch, stews, pies, and dumplings served in generous portions.
fabulous but very feel at home anytime I visit. All dishes are tasty and homemade. If you are Japanese, you really find “dashi 出汁” in their soup, means they know how to maximize the taste of each ingredient! Not so costly despite the location. Booking is highly required!

I really loved the décor – the pickles cabinet is absolutely iconic! I’ve been to this restaurant twice and tried every type of pelmeni. Everything was delicious!

This is a cozy and rustic place to enjoy Soviet Russian menu. A resident cat name, Benjamin will stroll around as and when. Interesting menu for tourists. Good portion and reasonable price menu. Bird's milk dessert didn't go down well with us. Homemade cake was alright.
Reiy T — Google review
Very nice atmosphere and decoration, the food is good, the service was a little slow but very good. The eggs shakshoka was the best. The coffee is very nice and recommended.

I think we were cheated. Three bottles of sparkling water and still water cost us 1,950 rubles. When we went to other restaurants, water was not so expensive at all. Some restaurants even offer it for free. The false smiles and service of the waiters deceived us. We were extremely disappointed.

The interior of the restaurant is fabulous! Authentic Russian grandma house! The food was ok, the near pie was really nice, the cherry dumplings were basic, and the chicken cutlet was good, food is an average food, but nothing wrong with it either. Their house wine was nice. The staff were friendly, keep checking my face expression as I was dining! There is a cute chubby cat, named Benjamin in the restaurant.

Walked in without a reservation and luckily got a table right away. Very friendly employees, stating from a stylish host dressed in a jumpsuit, even the cleaning lady is wearing a bathrobe and hair curlers. Restaurant styled as an old school apartment. Really feels homely and cozy. Sleepy cat adds even more coziness. Food was AWESOME. I loved my Vinegret salad, served in crystal bowl (like the old times) and Bortsch soup was yum. Every single dish that we ordered was a success. Overall really happy with our dining experience. Recommend :)

I loved the style of this restaurant. It like a typical Moscow apartment. The food was great. The alcohol choice is not that huge, only a few types of beer and some wine. One should try the variety of distillate spirits made from different fruits, vegetables and berries.
