The Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias is a cutting-edge science complex located in a beautifully landscaped park. It features a large aquarium, an IMAX cinema, and various cultural and scientific institutions.
This place was extremely gorgeous. It is such a nice place to take pictures outside! The museum itself has so much to learn about, and has surveys you can take to help improve it. We had a great time and would’ve spent longer had we had more time. I recommend buying tickets to the Hemisphere show as well. We saw the Amazon show and it was great. We even saw baby chicks hatch inside!!!

The architecture is amazing and is covered in nature. You can even see and hear parrots in the trees and it's beautiful. It's a brilliant place to walk around and explore but one thing which wasn't the best was the cost to go inside. I read other reviews and some people said how it isn't worth paying the money to go inside and I can agree with them. If you want to, your more than welcome to pay the money to go inside but I wouldn't. Overall, amazing place to go and there's a bus which goes right up to the museum which was very helpful.

The river that runs through Valencia was redirected, and the kilos of dry River bed have been turned into Parkland. This collection of buildings is one of the highlights of this redevelopment and iconic buildings of contemporary architecture, dedicated to the sciences and arts. The Central pools remind you that this area used to be a river And also offer relief from the heat when the wind blows across them. The collection of buildings are extraordinary and Howes and aquarium and IMAX Theatre Gardens and museums. The Bridge, which crosses the drive of the bed is also iconic and a beautiful addition to this amazing architectural area.A wonderful place to wander through and visit some of these exquisite places.

We visited the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias in Valencia today (October), and it was a wonderful experience even without going inside the buildings. The weather was perfect, sunny but not too hot, and there were fewer people around, which made it peaceful to stroll through and take photos. The modern architecture is stunning, and the reflections on the water create a beautiful, almost futuristic atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting, even just to enjoy the walk and the views.
Lissette I — Google review
We were there on a Saturday night. It was very nice to walk around. The architecture was fascinating and the vibe was just very good. A nice place to stroll around and it was super easy to get there from the city center. And don’t forget to check out the whisper chamber! It was very cool!!!
Kawisara T — Google review
The City of Arts and Sciences is a futuristic destination in Valencia, well worth a visit. It's a large area encompassing many buildings, of which the oceanarium is, in my opinion, the most beautiful and highly recommended. Even without tickets, it's still worth seeing the buildings from the outside, although you should be careful with the sun as the main promenades are uncovered. However, there's a garden and a park along the entire length, so I recommend exploring those paths.
Natalia T — Google review
A spectacular place where science comes to life through interactive experiences, and architecture itself becomes art. The building is stunning — futuristic, full of light, and truly one of Valencia’s modern landmarks. Exhibits are well organized and engaging for all ages, from hands-on experiments to immersive multimedia displays. A space that inspires curiosity and reminds you how beautiful knowledge can be.

Beautiful architecture and a great place to go for a stroll at any time of day. Very nice and colourful at night. Also lots of exhibits museums and Europe’s largest aquarium.

The Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe is a vibrant and contemporary science museum that offers a wide range of interactive exhibits and workshops. It is part of a larger complex that includes the Hemisfèric, Umbracle, Oceanogràfic, Palau de les Arts, and Agora. The museum hosts conferences, exhibitions, screenings, guided tours, and workshops focused on science, technology, nature, and art to engage diverse audiences.
Museum of Art – Where Architecture Meets Creativity The Museum of Art is one of the first places I’ve ever seen that feels truly designed for creativity. The building itself is modern, bold, and inspiring, with an architecture that’s not just beautiful but also feels alive — like a space meant to spark imagination. Inside, the layout is just as impressive. The way the space is organized makes it easy to explore, and at the same time, it brings you closer to the history of the people who created and shaped this place. It feels less like a museum and more like a living tribute to art, history, and human creativity. ✨ Final thought: If you’re in the area, this museum is a must-visit. It’s not just about art — it’s about the energy, the design, and the inspiration you take with you when you leave.

Beautiful place. Affordable. Many things to see. Some info walls been only in Spanish. No audio guide. Head my headphones with me and tried to scan QR codes but just text came to my phone. Spent their few hours. Had one say ticket with single entry in combo with Hemisphere for 14€. Really can't complain. It's been a Beautiful day spent there
Ria — Google review
Fantastic and enriching experience in this museum. You can see so many different animals and learn a lot about their current and historical habitat. The dolphin show is something not to be missed, also for the awareness raising element of how these animals are treated and how they are in the wild.
Marialetizia L — Google review
Unique place to visit with kids. Second floor is not available in English or at least we couldn't find it. It's dedicated for Valencian scientists who are honoured. First floor had the Leonardo exhibition with very unique materials. A big kid's place where we spend a lot time with them. The last floor had DNA related fact showed interactively not only for the kids but for all ages. Of course there was the space themed part as well with more closer look to Mars.
Boris S — Google review
The Science Museum in Valencia is an extraordinary place that combines knowledge, innovation, and breathtaking architecture. The sheer size and beauty of the futuristic building that houses it is already worth the visit, making it one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Inside, the exhibitions are both fascinating and educational, with highlights on space research and physics that capture the imagination of visitors of all ages. One of the most remarkable sections is the display dedicated to the genius of Leonardo da Vinci, where his inventions and projects are presented in a truly captivating way. The museum not only teaches science, but also celebrates human creativity and curiosity in the most inspiring setting. A must-see when in Valencia!
Andrea R — Google review
It was fun. I enjoyed the environment. Great place to take lots of photos. The museum it self was okay. The Leonardo da Vinci part was very exciting tho. Overall it was fun and great place to bring the family.
Caliizactive 2 — Google review
An impressive building, therefore worth visiting even if you are not so deeply into genetics or astrophysics - but these expositions are quite impressivr, too. Although for me, it was the Leonardo da Vinci immersive hall and the extensive display of his machines that impressed me most - after the building itself.
Triinu P — Google review
The architecture of this building is stunning and very futuristic! It is the perfect design to encapsulate a museum of science! What I loved most about our visit was the exhibits on Leonardo Da Vinci! Everything from his inventions to his sketches were truly captivating! This museum is a must for the family. There are a lot of interactive areas for the kidos as well.

Cathedral
The Metropolitan Cathedral–Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady of Valencia is a stunning Gothic-style cathedral that is renowned for housing the Holy Grail. Visitors can also explore the historic Miguelete tower, which offers panoramic views of the city. The cathedral is located in Valencia's city center, making it easily accessible on foot. Nearby attractions include the Plaza de la Reina, the Silk Exchange, and the Modernist Central Market.
Valencia Cathedral – A Place of Power, Peace, and History This is more than just a church — it’s a living piece of history in the heart of the city. Built on the site of a former mosque, the cathedral beautifully blends Gothic, Romanesque, Baroque, and even Moorish elements. Every corner tells a different story. 🔔 Don’t miss the climb to the Miguelete Tower — the panoramic view of Valencia’s old town is absolutely breathtaking. 💎 Inside, you’ll find one of Christianity’s most sacred relics: the Holy Grail, believed by some to be the actual cup used by Jesus during the Last Supper. 🎫 There is an entrance fee, but it’s absolutely worth it — the audio guide, stunning interior, and powerful atmosphere make it unforgettable.
Marianna R — Google review
Beautiful cathedral with stunning architecture and rich history. The interior is impressive, with magnificent artworks and a peaceful atmosphere. The climb to the tower is definitely worth it for the great panoramic views over Valencia. A must-see landmark in the heart of the old town.
Nicolas — Google review
Breathtaking. That’s the word that lingers after stepping out of Valencia’s Cathedral. Few temples manage to balance grandeur, mystery, and lived history the way this one does. From the moment a visitor crosses its threshold, the space feels alive with centuries of devotion, civic pride, and Mediterranean light. Its architecture is a palimpsest of Valencia itself: Romanesque bones, Gothic ambition, Renaissance discipline, Baroque flourish—each layer revealing a chapter of the city’s identity. The soaring vaults lift the gaze almost instinctively, while the side chapels, rich but never overwhelming, draw you into quieter stories of art, faith, and patronage. And then there’s the Holy Chalice chapel, a place where symbolism and narrative converge so powerfully that even the skeptical pause. Climbing the Miguelete tower rewards anyone willing to take on the spiral steps: the view is a gift—Valencia unfolding in every direction, its rooftops, plazas, and coastline stitched together by sunlight. In all, this cathedral isn’t just beautiful; it’s meaningful. It’s one of the most remarkable cathedrals a traveler can encounter, a space that manages to be both monumental and deeply human.
Felipe B — Google review
Great touristic attraction, well organized by self touring headsets, no need to join groups or guides. Prices are very reasonable and they have offers for families. The facility is accessible for wheelchairs including the museum inside the cathedral.
Faris K — Google review
Both a house of God and a home to some of the finest religious art in the world. I'd recommend getting the audio guide tour, which was both informative and very easy to follow. I am now convinced that the Holy Grail is indeed real, and located in Valencia Cathedral. Definitely take the extra trip up the tower (accessible after you exit) for amazing views over the city.
TeamMorden — Google review
What a magnificent cathedral! Even from the outside, it makes a phenomenal impression. Think it's just the facade? Try walking around it; it looks like the cathedral encompasses half the city. A huge, magnificent building, so beautiful inside that it takes your breath away. The entire interior is simple, and the altar is fantastically rich. An undeniable highlight is the audio guide, which is free with the Valencia card. Inside the cathedral is the entrance to the museum, which is multi-story, grand, and contains numerous artifacts, especially the Holy Grail.
Natalia T — Google review
Beautiful 2025 Jubilee Cathedral. I love going Holy Mass here every time I visit Valencia. The cathedral has impressive architecture and beautiful works of art. It is breathtaking and not to mention the Holy Chalice Chapel (which I have seen in previous visits). Holy Mass, celebrated by the bishop, was amazing and there were so many people attending from different parts of the world. This Sunday The Holy Chalice Chapel was not open for visitors and the small shop was shut also. However, there was access to the Cathedral Tower, from where you can have a panoramic view of Valencia. A wonderful sacred place to visit with so much beautiful art.
Claudia — Google review
The Valencia Cathedral is absolutely stunning and a must-see when visiting the city. The architecture is breathtaking, blending Gothic, Romanesque, and Baroque styles, and the interior is filled with beautiful details and history. One of the highlights is the chapel that houses what is believed to be the Holy Grail, an incredible piece of history that makes the visit even more memorable. Climbing the Miguelete tower is also a must, offering sweeping views over Valencia that are worth every step. The atmosphere inside is peaceful and awe-inspiring, making it easy to linger and take it all in. A true highlight of Valencia and highly recommended.

Tapas bar
Colmado LaLola is a trendy bar and provisions shop that offers a delightful selection of Spanish tapas and wines. Located near Valencia Cathedral, it's the perfect spot to unwind after exploring the city. The menu features an array of artisan tapas, including three cheeses - tronchon, manchego, and cabrales - as well as thinly sliced anchovies and salt-cured anchovies served with olives.
Went here on recommendation from the times article. Great food, really authentic. Our server had only been here for a week but reccomended some amazing dishes to us. Would come back again!

Came here twice during my trip, once with my friend and once on own and both times the staff, service and food were amazing- Fernando especially was great at recommending which dishes to go for! I highly recommend the patatas bravas and cod croquettes

This super nice restaurant is the best spot I came across in Valencia. It’s in a great location, right next to the historic monument El Micalet. The staff are kind and very welcoming. And most importantly: the food is delicious. I was honestly surprised by how good it was. A real must-visit if you’re staying in the city center of Valencia!

Fun little spot right next to the cathedral. Great friendly staff. Great food. Lively but not loud atmosphere.

We stumbled across this charming, quirky little spot by chance, and it turned out to be a great find. The staff were welcoming, the local Vermut was excellent, and the mixed platter we shared was absolutely delicious. It’s a small place, but definitely worth a visit! Sorry, only able to share half eaten platter as was too late to remember to take the photo in time 😁
Kristina E — Google review
Typically, we found this absolute gem of a place on our last night in Válencía. Ironically I wanted to call a few times but it didn’t work out. We arrived late in the night with no reservation but Krisna & Karel couldn’t do enough for us. In the end we just had the bread and dips starter with olives and it was divine! The aioli was the best I have ever eaten. We had already agreed we would come back to Valencia because 5 days just isn’t enough, but tonight we got one more very compelling reason to return! Absolutely, we will be back.

Sucede Restaurante is a remarkable dining spot located in Valencia, boasting a Michelin star and offering an extraordinary gastronomic experience. Housed in the basement of a 12th-century building in the Old Town, the restaurant features an elegant dining room with original stone walls and historic elements. The menu takes diners on a culinary journey through Valencia's history, drawing inspiration from Roman, Arab, and Christian civilizations.
Perfecto! Good cuisine! Nice service! And around history mood! The cuisine is amazing. I just finished 4 Michelin Star restaurantes in Valencia, this restaurant is very different. From ancient Rome to ancient Arabia, this idea was attractive. I will come back to try another menu.
Jiajun Y — Google review
Take a journey through the different historical societies of Valencia using the flavors of the time in a unique type of gastronomy. Sucede Restaurante is different, as technique takes precedent through culinary artistry presented with the freshest ingredients and high-quality creations. I dined at Sucede by myself, and thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. The restaurant is absolutely stunning, revolving around a modern black and white color scheme highlighted with rustic stone that makes the whole atmosphere feel transcendental. From the earliest accommodations to the more modern luxuries of dining, the adventure begins the moment you sit at Sucede. I started with a light, cool creamy cherry salmorejo, which was refreshing and delicious. The true Spanish version of gazpacho. I followed the slamorejo with fresh salmon ceviche, a balance of beautiful fish and acidic citrus. Next, I opted for Mackerel with onion, which was so fresh it tasted caught that day. This was some of the best mackerel I’ve ever eaten, as the flavor was strong and the oils helped keep the flesh tender. The onion added a sweet bitterness to the fish. For a meat course, I chose Iberian pork rib with soy sauce, honey and mustard, which was a great balance of tart, tangy saltiness with the sugary sweetness of the honey and the tender ribs. Dessert consisted of strawberry tartare covered with mango mousse, which was fruity and fresh, but not overly sweet. It was exactly what I needed to cleanse my palate and end a delicious lunch on a high note. The service was impeccable, as every dish was delivered with timeliness and accuracy, and the explanations and recommendations of the menu were spot on. I would suggest dining at Sucede for any event or meal, as the atmosphere, service and food are all incredible! Definitely a win!

Hotel NH Valencia Las Artes

Hotel
Nestled in a prime location, NH Valencia Las Artes is a contemporary hotel that perfectly blends comfort and convenience. Just a short stroll from the iconic City of Arts and Sciences, this modern property boasts an array of luxurious amenities including an indoor pool, sauna, and well-equipped gym. Guests can unwind in air-conditioned rooms featuring plasma TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi, and personalized pillow options for added relaxation.
Stayed here for 3 nights recently. Was a very pleasant stay. Rooms were perfectly cooled with the air conditioner on( was very hot outside) so we managed a great nights sleep each night. Staff were pleasant and the breakfast was lovely in the mornings. Bit of a walk to the places we were visiting in the city but didnt mind the exercise. Would definitely stay again.
Greg B — Google review
The cleanliness and facilities were not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel. The gym only had an old, outdated all-in-one machine. The towels had noticeable yellow stains, and the furniture in the room was very old and worn out, making it feel more like a hostel than a hotel.
Negin J — Google review
Very clean. The staff was efficient and friendly. They spoke some English. Excellent breakfast with eggs made to order. The hotel is just a short walk from the Arts and Science complex. A bus stop is near that will take you to the historical center. Taxis readily available. The hotel has a parking garage

I organized a multi-day business event at NH Las Artes Hotel, and everything was excellent. The staff was very attentive, helpful, and friendly. The conference facilities were of great quality, comfortable, and perfectly supported by the hotel team. The restaurant food in the hotel was delicious and varied, and the overall atmosphere was warm and comfortable. The location is ideal, close to the City of Arts and Sciences, with a beautiful green courtyard behind the hotel and many bars and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend this hotel for conferences and corporate events.

As I was staying long, I booked the most affordable option but because it wasn't a "suite" apperantly I was not going to be offered daily complimentary water, necessary things in the room such as slippers or other products. It was ridiculous. They have an app where you can choose to order but is never delivered. I didnt even get a hand towel. Cleaning team was very loud and you can hear between the rooms. The only thing about the room was that it was clean.
Sizen A — Google review
Super nice staff, but the hotel is quite dated. The bed was absolutely awful, could barely sleep. Paper-thin walls, could hear everything from adjacent rooms. It's not a cheap hotel, I expected more.

Fair , clean , breakfast nice selection Coffee pretty strong. Easy access to public transport. Various restaurants in walking distance.
Missy M — Google review
I stayed at this hotel for four nights in room 208 with my sister and my two-year-old baby son. On the very first day I asked to be moved because the room, apart from being located in front of the elevators and the cleaning room (which made it noisy), was very dirty and the furniture was very worn, very different from the photos shown both on booking (where I made the reservation) and on the website. At reception I was told that the hotel's rooms are gradually being renovated. The photos on the website are of the rooms that have already been renovated, but there are still rooms (as far as I understand the entire second floor) that are in this condition and there is no information to this effect on the website, nor is there any differentiation in price (I paid almost €200 a night for the room I stayed in). I was also told that if I wanted to change rooms, I'd have to go to one where the baby's crib wouldn't fit (the receptionist's words). No solution was presented from the staff for the first two days, despite my continuous complains and on the third day I asked for the complaints book (at which point a room similar to mine but already renovated apparently became available). I went ahead with the complaint, which was poorly received by the manager in charge at reception, who replied formally with a lot of false information. I don't usually make these complaints, but I think it's important that there is an improvement in the way the management of this particular NH treats its customers.

Good burritos! Tasty and the loaded nachos were good too! Super cold beer made it even better! Thank you.

The personnel was really friendly and profesional in the same time. Even if we had a big order, they were very patient and took the order very well.

We ate combo amigos, it was perfect, both buritos are enough for one meal, and nachos and drinks on top of that, you will be full until tomorrow noon definitely. Servise was nice and fast, you just choose your combo burrito, there is a lot of ingredients really. Guacamole is paid extra but that's okay. In short: big recommendation!
NIkola V — Google review
We ordered 2 beef burritos and it was perfect! No words needed, you choose your favourite ingredients and they roll it for you, really quick service.
Stanka — Google review
Rudist, nastiest, most disdaining service I’ve experienced in Spain and possibly in top 3 in world. No idea, girl may have been having a bad day but she was absolutely horrible. Literally flung food at us. Additionally she had same pair of gloves on in between multiple orders where she was on her phone, fixing her hair and handling cash - gross!!! The concept is great and our tacos tasted nice, we actually wanted more food but went elsewhere as the service was incredibly awful.
Alison F — Google review
Nice warm burritos meal! Friendly staff too, special call out to Ms.Esther whom is very patient with us as we don't speak Spanish.
Chris T — Google review
Not the experience we expected, given the high rating of this place. The food is nothing special and definitely not worth the price. We got the combo amigos (the price was not displayed, but the reviews said that it was 20 euros a few months back). We ended up paying about 30 euros for it, and it was surprising to me that basic things in a burrito like beef and guacamole were charged extra. The staff was very rushed and not willing to help with recommendations, they just seemed to want to be done with us ASAP 😅. They also forgot to bring the drinks - we had to remind them two times. Overall, an experience I wouldn't recommend.
Roxana C — Google review
Excellent burritos, tacos, and quesadillas. The service is fast and the variety of ingredients is great. The portions are decent as well. For ~€10 you can get one burrito, or one quesadilla, or two tacos. Although there's a good variety of ingredients, some are included in the price and some cost extra. It's not obvious how many ingredients are included in the base price.

Aquarium
Nature & Parks
Oceanogràfic is a major attraction located within the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, Spain. It is Europe's largest marine park, featuring over 20,000 creatures from 650 different species. The aquarium showcases marine life from various ecosystems around the world, offering visitors an immersive experience through its diverse exhibits.
This place is awesome, so much things to see. I recommend take some warm clothes, as in arctic area is 17C or even colder so wearing some a jacket is a must, there are plenty of food to try, also there are 3 shows daily with dolphins, apx 20minut each, so check the time for the show. Most of the places has outer and inner parts so it is great to check the outer parts and then take elevator or stairs and check what's under the ground. Overall me and my 4yo toddler has enjoyed the the 3.5 hour long tour. It is definitely worth a try. P.S. sometimes, especially on holidays or weekends the place is crowded and the queue for the ticket is huge, so I recommend to buy tickets online as there is no difference.
Ruben T — Google review
I do not recommend to visit this place. It's such a rip off and don't worth the price. Not to mention they exploit poor dolphins to perform the tricks for food. They even don't care for the visitors who have to sit on the hard concrete with no back support to watch these poor animals. For the price of more than 40 euros per person they provide you a seat of concrete! Ridiculous! This place is full of food corners and at some point I thought I had come to the food market not the aquarium to observe marine life. It feels like a commercial trap to squeeze even more money from you. Beside the overpriced admission, they also offer such a miserable discount for vulnerable society groups like pensioners and disabled people. This is just sad.
Eva E — Google review
Nice place, huge effort from the team. Great selection of animals etc. Awesome aquariums. The one from Tenerife is the leader, in my opinion. The food inside quality should be improved. The value for money is disappointing. Dishes hot in the exterior and almost frozen in the middle. The security staff should help the clients; in our case, they had long personal discussions, ignoring the visitors.
Horea — Google review
It was worth it. Truly amazing! Impressive building with aquarium and dolphin show. You should be here! I received support and guidance when I needed. If You wish to see dolphin show please make sure that you arrive 10 minutes earlier and take a seat because workers try to ensure health and safety for everyone. If you decide to eat dinner here then it's expensive and less choices. Public toilets are available here.

The L'Oceanogràfic is one of Valencia's biggest attractions, a true showcase. The ticket price seemed high for our budget, but after entering and seeing these wonders, I realized it was a bargain. The animals look well-cared for and have plenty of space. The dolphin arena is a real gem. I felt the dolphins were happy; you could see their bond with their trainers, and the instructor focused on educating people about these magnificent animals and their health. Initially, I thought the area was small and would be a quick tour, but it turned out that the coolest aquariums and trails are underground, pleasantly cool (good for hot weather). It was amazing to see the belugas and underwater passages with sharks and other creatures overhead, within arm's reach. I felt the magic of this place the entire time, like a child. The photos capture it perfectly! You can buy a combined ticket to the facilities in the city of science, but THIS is a gem and I recommend it wholeheartedly.
Natalia T — Google review
This place was awesome. Lots of fish. We even saw whales a crocodile penguins. Jellyfish and lots of other animals and exciting things to see. I would definitely go again as you couldn’t see from the photos there is a lot to see and a lot to do it does cost. It cost us €38 per person. I don’t know what that will be for people looking at this in a few years time. But you can spend three or four hours in there easy And if you come with children, there is plenty of things for them to jump a boat undo ice cream shops. There’s a restaurant in there. There is play areas for kids as well.
Travel L — Google review
Great place. The dolphin show isn’t super exciting, dont wait around for it but if you can watch it easily great. I’ve never heard so many screaming kids in my life as I did in the penguin enclosure. Pretty sure that’s what hell is like.
Lexington K — Google review
I recently visited Oceanogràfic in Valencia, and it was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. The aquarium is beautifully designed, easy to explore, and filled with an impressive variety of marine life from all around the world. Out of all the exhibits, the dolphins and sea lions were definitely the highlights of my visit. Watching the dolphins was truly unforgettable — they were energetic, playful, and clearly well-cared for, and their interactions with the trainers made the experience both educational and entertaining. The sea lions were equally captivating, with their curious personalities and lively behaviour. I could have spent hours watching them glide through the water and interact with each other. The whole place feels very immersive, and the layout allows you to get close to the animals without feeling crowded or rushed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was well-maintained and clean, from the walkways to the viewing areas. Whether you’re visiting as a family, a couple, or even on your own, there’s plenty to enjoy and learn. Overall, Oceanogràfic offers a wonderful mix of entertainment and education, and I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a memorable day out.

With five floors of retail stores and eateries, it provides a diverse selection for visitors. Additionally, there are play areas for children and easy access to public transportation.
Fantastic Shopping Experience – Clean, Convenient, and Full of Options! Aqua Mall in Valencia completely exceeded my expectations! The entire space is modern, clean, and very well-maintained, making for a super enjoyable shopping experience. It has a really open, airy feel — never too crowded, and everything is easy to find. There’s a great variety of shops, from well-known international brands to local favorites, and a wide selection of restaurants and cafés perfect for grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to enjoy a meal. Whether you’re in the mood for fast food or something more upscale, there’s something for everyone. One of the best features is the large grocery store on the bottom floor — incredibly convenient if you want to pick up essentials or snacks during your visit. It’s spotless, well-stocked, and easy to navigate. The location is also ideal, just steps from the City of Arts and Sciences, so it’s perfect for a stop before or after sightseeing. Good mix of retail outlets over several floors. No litter, they do a great job in keeping it clean. Tough looking security always evident so feels safe to visit with family. Supermarket on the bottom level is handy if staying locally. If visiting as a tourist, don’t forget that most restaurants close in the afternoon and reopen at 20:00.

Very nice shopping mall in a very convenient location around different attractions. As tourists, it was within a walking distance from our wonderful hotel, where we able to buy some snacks, dine in and do shopping several times. All services are available such as pharmacy, supermarkets and all essentials. The shopping experience was also nice as they have some nice brands. The mall layout is very smart with natural lighting and semi open air, still you feel cool with the air conditioning coming from the shops. Finally, they have nice view, accessible to wheelchairs and you can park your scooter 🛴 inside the mall.

This is a very nice open air shopping mall. It has a total of 5 floors of restaurants and retail stores. Very nice selection and variety of stores. It has a rooftop, so you can be protected from the sun and weather, but the floors can get wet everywhere if it rains.

great shopping centre. easy to walk around and a great selection of shops and places to eat. Also has on of the only fast charging spots for electric vehicles in all of valencia so if you have an eve the charging point and speeds make it the perfect place to charge

The architects made the building in such way that the air circulates and is pleasant even in 35+ degrees outside. The additional cooling effect comes from the air conditioned shops.

The Mercat Central de València is a vibrant and historic market housed in a stunning Modernista building adorned with colorful tiles. It is one of the oldest food markets in Europe, offering an authentic glimpse into daily life in Valencia. The market boasts a diverse collection of stalls, each separated by type, where locals shop for regional produce such as live eels, various prawn varieties, and giant hams.
This is a spectacular market situated right in the centre of town offering food, fruits, meats, dried fruits & nuts and lot more especially the various varieties of freshly cooked Paella! The place is very clean, well looked after and well managed.

So much food to discover and eat. Wine, croquettes, empanadas, sandwiches, paellas but also a lot of fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. It is a delight to walk around and immersive yourself of what this foodhall has to offer.
Ryan I — Google review
Great experience inside the market. Lots of options to eat. Some great economic options to try paella. Unfortunately there isn't any place to sit down and eat, but that's part of the experience I guess. A definite must see on your trip to València. Try the cheesecake and have a coffee right outside to start off your day

The Central Market in Valencia is absolutely incredible. The building itself is stunning, with beautiful architecture and a vibrant, bustling atmosphere. Inside, the variety is endless fresh produce, spices, cheeses, baked goods, and so much more. It’s a feast for the senses, with colors, aromas, and flavors everywhere you turn. The vendors are friendly and passionate about their products, and it’s the perfect place to sample local specialties or pick up something unique. Whether you’re shopping, snacking, or just exploring, this market is a must-see in Valencia. Truly one of the highlights of the city.
Andrew G — Google review
A food lover's paradise. Everything you could want in a market is here: wine, chocolates, meat, fish, you name it - all fresh and of incredible quality. Try the sea urchin paste (2 EUR per spoon). Delicious.
TeamMorden — Google review
The market building is large and impressed me most from the outside. Inside, you can buy practically anything, and it's very crowded. However, I can't help but feel that it's a tourist trap when it comes to fruit. The final price is almost never the same as the price tag, and we bought the worst strawberries there. However, the building itself and the atmosphere are unmatched. Just consider your purchases carefully if you're not a local.
Natalia T — Google review
Nice place to roam and get inspired. But nothing was calling me. I am pure veg so didn't get attracted to most of the stalls. Smell was also really strong that day. But it's nice to know that the building is having it since 100 years going on as a tradition
Ria — Google review
Beautiful market hall with lots of variety. Mostly food, but also some souvenirs. The atmosphere is lively and the building itself is stunning. It was quite warm inside, so I hesitated to try the meat, but still a great place to visit!

If you're looking for a delicious Italian meal with fully customizable pizzas, look no further than Infraganti - Con las manos en la Masa. This artisanal venue offers a wonderful experience with friendly staff and excellent food. The price is also very reasonable, making this a great place to visit any time.
The food is amazing. We tried the pesto lasagna and the truffle lasagna. Best meals I had in my life. The price is comically low - around 6 eur for the best meal you can eat. We ate food 3-5 times more expensive at restaurants rated 4.6 and more, and comparatively they suck. There are benches in front of the beautiful market to enjoy the food and the view.

There is a photo frame on the counter saying this is the best takeout food in Valencia and I definitely second it. You can find full set of food here, from appetizers to main course to dessert. I’ve been here regularly, and none of the plates have ever disappointed me. I love quinoa salads the most. It’s healthy, light but flavorful.

We came here three times during our week-long stay in Valencia and every time we were warmly welcomes and served excellent fresh food. I would recommend everything from the pesto pasta to the jamòn pizza. The price is always very fair and the chef/owner is clearly passionate about his food. Some good additions to a meal was the wine and tasty tiramisu.

Fine dining restaurant
Restaurante El Poblet, located in the heart of Valencia and led by renowned chef Quique Dacosta, offers an elegant dining experience with market-based tasting menus and wine pairings. Chef Luis Valls brings a modern and bold approach to Valencian cuisine, highlighting local products in innovative ways while embracing sustainability and proximity to the sea and nearby orchards.
Great experience of a new interpreted classic valencian flavors. Great technique, good wine selection by Hernan, who even adequately changed the maridaje to the drinking pace of my girlfriend. The plates were intense in good flavors and also very balanced. My favourite dishes were the Sepia y Calabaza with the (most amazing) caldo that the service team was pouring onto the when served. Such an aromatic harmony of savouriness, aromatics, sweetness and acidity. Would go again only for that. Other favourites: Pato in two courses. The Guiso very earthy and innovative with the way the peanuts were altered through technique and also the esfericos made from rillete were contributing a lot to the depth of the dish. The Pato madurado was simplicity at its best for me. Texture and flavour altered by the Koji were simply working really well on the plate. Desserts: Cool idea with the torrija. Sacher was a cool balance of texture and flavors (ice cream simply delicious) Great experience, thank you!

An incredible experience at El Poblet! I want to sincerely thank the entire staff for their warm welcome and impeccable service. Every detail was carefully thought out — from the table setting to the presentation of each dish. The atmosphere was elegant yet very comfortable. The cuisine is true artistry! Every dish was not only delicious but also visually stunning. It’s clear that real professionals work here, putting heart and soul into every element. El Poblet is a place you’ll want to return to. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who values top-level gastronomy and exceptional service!

Interesting experience, for us, Belgians, new tastes we're not used to. Strong traditionele flavours. Wine pairing was excellent.
Frédérick C — Google review
I had the pleasure of dining at El Poblet in Valencia, and the experience was absolutely outstanding. From the very beginning, the team made sure everything was perfect, especially taking extra care with my food allergy by offering alternative dishes without compromising on creativity or flavor. Both the front of house and the kitchen were highly professional and welcoming, making us feel well looked after throughout the evening. We chose the largest tasting menu, and it was truly worth it – every course was beautifully crafted, balanced, and full of personality. El Poblet fully deserves its 2 Michelin stars, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable fine dining experience in Valencia. Flavio de Stefano - Chef @ Bakery de Stefano

El Poblet was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant feels elegant and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. They explained each course in a clear friendly way, the ambience was very peaceful. We tried the tasting menu, and every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. What stood out most was how they used local Valencian flavors but gave them a modern twist. The wine pairing worked really well too, we tried some unique spanish wines for first time. The pace of the dinner was comfortable, and we never felt rushed.
Mayi B — Google review
For me, and it is important to highlight that, it is more a 3.5 stars. The good, service is excellent!!! All the staff spoked perfect English, we had a very interested explanation of the dish prior been served. The waiters floated around us impeccably, probably the best I've even seen, without ever been noticed, and yet not once we had to call for them. The staff also seemed genuine about how we felt about the dinning experience. So for service and the staff, a big 5. The not so good The atmosphere..., funny enough, I would say it is in harmony with the food. Unfortunately neither I enjoyed. So as I've said earlier, "for me" The restaurant lacks some peps, to be more vibrant, this is the beautiful city of valencia, I wanted to see some colors, a little extravagance, I could have been in the US, Australia, London or dubai, it would have been the same, sad and boring place. For the food, it had a bitterness taste throughout the 8 courses; it may be to the liking of some, but it didn't work for me. Each creations were well presented, but as the restaurant, lacked colors and that little something extra, like the amuse bouche. Even thought we skipped many dishes, the food was plentiful, the olive oil was divine, and the timing perfect. On a final note, my friend ended up in the emergency that night, with what appeared to be some kind of gastroenteritis. I myself didn't feel that great that same night. Was it the food or something else? I am not expert and 2 other guests appeared to be ok, so my notation doesn't take this in consideration. Conclusion, I had better enjoyments in lesser or no stars restaurants.
Christophe D — Google review
I almost cancelled our reservation based on some recent reviews; really glad I didn’t. This is our best meal in Spain so far. The dishes were novel, creative, and overall quite good. The wine pairing was almost as good with only a few misses. Definitely worth a visit to try the full tasting menu and wine pairing. Keep an open mind and hopefully you’ll enjoy the culinary journey as much as we did. Cheers.
Rob F — Google review
Lovely experience all around! The courses (we went for 11—recommend!) and wines were presented with just the right amount of information to help understand and enhance the tasting. Beautiful mix of simple-yet-perfect courses and more complex, surprising preparations of very local, fresh ingredients. Professional and warm service. I don’t usually write reviews but felt compelled to give this dinner a stellar review. So glad we booked it for our finale in Valencia.

Pizza restaurant
Raffaello Pasta e Pizza is a charming family-owned restaurant located near the park and sciences area. The place offers a delightful selection of Italian dishes, including ravioli and pizza. Visitors have praised the fresh ingredients, flavorful crusts, and friendly staff. Many locals frequent the restaurant for their delicious pizzas to go. The cozy atmosphere adds to the dining experience, although some have mentioned that service can be improved.
We were desperate for food after Gullivers Park and we were super lucky to find this gem. The pizza is good, I loved the deep fried stuffed pumpkin flower (my partner didnt - his loss). Food was quick, service was nice, place was clean. I recommend.

We had such high expectations of this place and were so bitterly disappointed. Literally the only good thing was the light draft beer. The dark one was spoiled. Terrible service and to our surprise - tasteless food with such low quality ingerdients. Only the pizza tasted good before it got cold. Once it did, it became unedible and sour. The rest had 0 taste besides the salt. It is a pitty, as we live close and are looking for a place to have lunch regularly in, but that would not be it. We were sadly mislead by the strangely high rating.

cosy restaurant, italian atmosphere, good food, good wine and beer. they impressed us with the Margherita Bufala, a pizza which they dont have in the menu but made it for us at our request. there is a -1 start due to the fact that on night my Caltone pizza was not properly done.

We tried the carbonara and the margherita pizza. The carbonara wasn’t the traditional version with egg — it came very cheesy and a bit too heavy for our taste. The margherita pizza was okay, nothing remarkable but decent. Service was polite, though it seemed the staff weren’t very familiar with the details of the dishes. Overall, an average experience with room for improvement.

We have tried many different restaurants in both Alicante and Valencia and today was our last day and we were about to leave this country without having any decent meal at all till by chance we ended up at this incredible restaurant. The pizza was DELICIOUS like a true Italian food that gave me flash backs to my time in Italy. We are finally happy to leave this country with a good memory of this place. The atmosphere is amazing and cozy but the only downside of this place is the service!!! The staff are super busy going around randomly without providing a good service unfortunately. Apart from that never hesitate to come by and try their Rafaelo and Quadra pizzas.

Bioparc Valencia is a unique zoo that houses nearly a thousand animals from 150 different African species. The park features specially designed habitats to ensure the well-being and comfort of the animals, offering visitors an immersive experience in various natural habitats. From vast savannas to dense forests, visitors can observe antelopes, giraffes, rhinoceroses, hyenas, buffaloes, leopards, gorillas, and elephants in recreated wild environments.
Lovely park. Easy to get too we caught a bus. Lots of shelter there on hot days. Lots of vending machines for a cool drink. Plenty of bathrooms. Buggy parking. A few cafes. Easy to get around the park for any level of fitness. The animals all ilooked n great condition. The lemurs like to go for walks so watch out for the tails in the air. Spent a few hours there and really enjoyed the place. I would recommend a visit whilst in Valencia.

I really enjoyed visiting this zoo! The place is huge and very well kept, with an amazing variety of animals — including some really rare and beautiful species. You can tell the animals are well cared for, and the enclosures are clean and spacious. The only downside is the ticket price — it’s a bit expensive, especially for families. But overall, it’s a great place to spend a few hours, relax, and see lots of incredible animals. Definitely worth visiting!
Артур — Google review
This is by far the best zoo I’ve visited in a long time! The viewing experience is excellent. Every animal can be seen clearly from multiple angles, and the enclosures are beautifully designed. One small improvement would be to include more animals and represent more regions. Overall, an amazing experience!
Hussain R — Google review
One of the nicest zoos we ever visited. Even though it might look small, we spent great day there. Great variety of animals, the hippo feeding was amazing to see. The animals seem happy and very well cared for. In comparison with other zoos is this one alot of them share the space (like giraffes, ostriches, goats, birds) which gives a much more natural feeling, no cages, no minuscule enclosures. We were just in time for the "Circle of life" show where birds were flying around the arena which was very cool. Only downside was that some people were smoking even if its prohibited Even the restaurant has an amazing view to the animal enclosures. Overall great experience, even though a bit pricey it's definitely worth.
Petrila C — Google review
I am not a fan of zoos. Haven't been in a zoo for 13 years already. Valencia was a stop of our cruise itinery. We've walked 3 km to the Bioparc, it was Middle of October, blue sky, great Weather. It was not packed, and there are not too many animals, but it's still a zoo of course. But we had a great time, was great to see wild animals live. The whole area is green, lot of trees, shadow, possibilities to rest. To me the best Moment was to see the Giraffees chewing tree leafes, and to see baobab trees live.
Beáta D — Google review
It worth visiting. I reccomend to buy online tickets to avoid standing in line. All so clean, animals are very close to see, all in their natural environment, toilets, playground for kids and a mad gorilla who punched the window where many children were watching. I wish there were more animals (tiger per ex).
Nico — Google review
Great place to visit as a family. A lot of interesting animals to look at! A cool cafeteria with a view on zebras, birds, and other animals, and it’s pretty big. Don’t skip the monkeys! Buy tickets in advance, online, you will skip a 10-15 minute line.
Erik — Google review
So much fun! Only £25 each for adults. Purchased online the day before and didn’t have to line up like the rest. Able to just walk in. The enclosures were so nicely done, clean and the animals appeared well looked after. Would recommend the hippo feeding which is free to watch. The bird show is something I wouldn’t rave about and if you’re short on time give it a miss. Otherwise so fun. They have an open enclosure where the lemurs reside.

Happy to have lots of choices in hair salon. I chose Jean Leroux Paris on the first floor. Good price and nice friendly staff.

The most expensive parking ever. We bought your staff and payed 15 euros for a few hours of parking. I'll never come back, and do not recommend. It's a scam.

Nuevo Centro, situated in Valencia, offers a comprehensive shopping experience with an extensive variety of options. From fashion, food, and dining to music, sports, toys, home goods, jewelry, gifts, accessories, travel, beauty products, footwear, and leisure activities, this mall caters to a wide range of interests and needs. The website is quite informative, providing essential details like opening hours, access information, a store directory, and updates on various events and news related to Nuevo Centro. This makes planning a visit effortless. The diverse range of stores and activities available at Nuevo Centro makes it a great destination for a day out with family or friends. However, the mall can get quite busy during peak hours, so it's best to visit during off-peak times for a more relaxed experience.

Nuevo Centro Mall is located in the heart of Valencia and is very suitable for families and all ages. Everything you are looking for is mostly there: shops, restaurants, cafeterias. Its area is spacious and comfortable and it has games for children where they will find fun. So it is a suitable destination to spend a fun time with family and friends.
Dalal S — Google review
Good place, visiting it often, lots of shops we like but the downside is the high costs for the parking, almost the highest in Valencia without even free at least of 1 hour

Some restaurants also there like (KFC, Mc Donald, Hollywood, Burger King) etc. Clothing Brands there Shoes store like Sprinter, JD, Décimas TimeRoad for ⌚️ 4 and 5 brands C&A market for clothing Men, Women and children

Very good place! So many store with clothes, so many cafe and all the friendly people! Recommend!

The layout is a bit unusual. The food court area is kind of outside of the rest of the shopping centre. Aside from that, they have shops like Bershka, Pull & Bear, Kiko, C&A etc. There is also a metro stop outside (Turia) which is convenient.

Church
Historical landmark
San Nicolás de Bari and San Pedro Mártir is a Gothic-style Catholic church known for its ornate baroque interior, gilding, and ceiling frescoes. The former Convento del Carmen has been transformed into the Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporania, while the prestigious Institut Valencia d'Art Modern (IVAM) and La Beneficencia offer modern museum experiences.
Very beautiful inside, so much paintings, smelling good. At every fixed hour it's a light show which we enjoyed and I recommend you don't miss it! From all the Valencian churches, this was the most special.
Nico — Google review
Stunning and unique church—often called the “Sistine Chapel of Valencia”. The interior is breathtaking but very detailed, which can feel overwhelming. The light projection show helps reveal connections in the artwork that are otherwise hard to catch. Atmosphere is mixed: calming like a church, but also a bit stressful due to the crowds. Entry is pricey (€15), and the English audio guide misses a couple of stops. Allow 1–1.5 hours. Accessible for all visitors, including wheelchairs. Photography is allowed.
Emma V — Google review
This was a lovely place to walk around listen to the stories behind the pictures. On arrival I was asked to cover my shoulders which was fine however once inside many people had their shoulders exposed and nothing was said to them. It’s worth the trip if you want to learn more about Saint Nicholas.
Lucy D — Google review
We wanted to see the church having heard of it's marvelous paintings. We got there and there was a queue not that large. There we found out the entrance cost was 15 euros but it included the audioguide and the light projections (for children it is free). We knew nothing about the show but we decided to give it a try. It was breathtaking. The thoughtfulness that went into planing and executing this show was absolutely remarkable. It manages to convey to the visitors the history, the work of the artist that built and decorated it, the symbolism behind it all. It made a very well restored building come to life and even more grand, more beautiful. For us it was one of the best moments we had the luck of experiencing in a city that has a lot to offer (mind you we were together with a 6 year old that was as mesmerised as us). The light show stars hourly from 11:00. I recommend you enter after one has ended, walk through the church with the audio guide and then see the show.
Alexandru M — Google review
It truly live up to the hype! It really is the spanish sixtus temple! If you have time go there see the light show and the art. It also has a lot of interactive stuff that you can hear and see. But also the main reason to see San Nicolás Temple is that its so gorgeous and beautiful
Emese ( — Google review
Beautiful breathtaking church that as of July 2023 offers a wonderful light show. It's really magical, never seen something like this inside a church. Beyond the useful audio guide explainingall areas of the church, this experience why the lights show is something not to be missed once in Valencia.
Marialetizia L — Google review
It is an amazing church. Every hour, on the hour ( 12:00, 13:00, etc) there is a lights and music show that lasts for 15 min. It is incredible. The ticket is 15 euros and you also receive an audioguide inside.
Dana D — Google review
Followed the audio guided tour. Impressive work and fully renovated frescoes. Make sure to look for the timing of the light show which is impressive as well showing all different details in the ceiling paintings.

Espresso bar
El Cafetín Valencia is a charming café established in 1980, located in the heart of El Carmen just off Plaza del Tossal. The interior is adorned with eclectic antiques and captivating artwork, creating a cozy and homely ambiance. It's known for serving agua de Valencia, a delightful mimosa made with cava, orange juice, gin, vodka, and sugar. The bar offers an intimate setting where patrons often share tables and enjoy friendly interactions.
I came across this place by accident, but it was a very lucky strike - it is a very nice and cosy place with a unique, vintage interior design. There are many locals visiting, what makes this place even more authentic. Also the staff is super nice and friendly and prices are affordable, especially for such location. The best Agua de Valencia in the city. Highly recommended! :)
Ola S — Google review
I passed by this cozy little café-bar again and finally stepped inside, drawn in by the soft sound of the piano music. The place is small but charming, with cute vintage decorations n friendly staff. They serve coffee - cocktails and snacks. I had a refreshing orange 🍊 juice cocktail Would definitely come back next time I’m in town. ( More details in the photo captions )

The place itself is really beautiful, this is the old fashioned we ordered. It wasn’t the first cousin of an old fashioned, tasted like lemonade and whisky and was not enjoyable at all. It’s a pity as the place is lively with such a nice vibe. If it’s not broke don’t fix it, keep the old fashioned sacred.
Ronan C — Google review
Wow 🔥 Recommend by many bartenders in Valencia and this joint plays jazz and serves wine with smile. Just go.

Best Sangria in the city!! And I really loved the vibe of this place, it was bohemian and artistic. Worth to visit.
Lilla R — Google review
The place has its own charm, but the waitress can be very rude. We were there one night while a piano player was improvising - this was not a concert event, the guy was just having fun -when the waitress came over and scoled everyone in the most rude way because patrons were making too much noise. We left and do not intend to go back.

Coffee made of cheap beans and cost almost 3 euro. Maybe i was unlucky with barista, but i couldn't even finish my cup. The place looks very good and and cosy. But if you really like good coffee, i don't recommend it.

Great location to have a drink, very nice interior and the terrace is in a typical Spanish street. And beside the nice drinks we also got chips which came with the drinks. I met the very friendly owner and he told me normally they also have live music. We order Aqua de Valencia and a Corona and later on a Margaritha aswel. And before we knew.... We sat there for 2 hours or so.

El Tarantín Chiflado is an unconventional restaurant known for its generous burgers, delectable desserts, and a variety of beers. The ambiance is described as pleasant and intriguing, resembling an escape room. Customers appreciate the polite and efficient service, with the option to order and pay through a convenient app. The burgers are highly praised for their exceptional taste, with one being hailed as possibly the best in Valencia.
Found this place randomly on the map - the look of the place from outside caught my eye, so I decided to give it a try. And wow, what a surprise! The La Mejor burger totally lives up to its 2024 nomination as the best in Valencia - honestly, I liked it way more than the so-called world’s #1 from Hundred Burgers. Super juicy, full of flavor, just perfect. The interior is even cooler than it looks from the outside - unique and full of character. And shoutout to Mario, the waiter - super friendly and incredibly fast. Service was top-notch. Definitely coming back.
Oleksii N — Google review
Fun place with a quirky vibe – loved the Halloween decor and the robot that delivered our food! The burger was good, but nothing mind-blowing – still just a burger at the end of the day. Prices were fair and the overall experience was definitely unique. Worth a visit for the novelty factor!

Just wow!! Best burger in Valencia so far, full of flavour and cheese sauce - it’s worth the money - been served straight away and waiting time was around 5min. Strongly recommend Burger Major - the rib taste like a sweet dream 🤤
Borys K — Google review
The hamburger is amazing! Super tender beef, cooked just right, and the sauce adds a nice touch—slightly on the sweet side, but still tasty. Great bun and solid portion. Would totally order it again!
Bao T — Google review
The best burgers of our lives! We ordered two MOAB burger (Mother of All Burgers) and it truly lived up to its name, along with La Mejor, which had been nominated as the best burger in Valencia in 2024. The MOAB was huge—I could barely take a bite. Personally, it felt like a bit too much meat for my taste, but it was insanely good. La Mejor, though, was without a doubt the best burger we’ve ever had: not too big, not too small, easy to bite into, and the flavor was just wow. For two people, one portion of fries is more than enough. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Adda P — Google review
This is one of the best burgers I've ever had. Anywhere. Period. Really cool place and a very original burger, too! They blowtorch the raclette cheese at your table and then pour it on top of the burger! It's so amazing and a melty-cheesy goodness unlike any burger I've ever had. Also, we went there one night around 11:30 and they were very accommodating after originally saying we could only order apps. Everyone was incredibly nice and happy to help or answer questions. Love this place and would definitely go back next time I'm in Valencia.

Very pleasant from the entrance and very interesting place. Looks like an escape room. They are very polite and friendly. The service is good and quick. You have the possibility to order and pay directly from your phone. From an app that shows after scanning the QR, you just add the products and pay. The drinks arrived just in seconds. The burgers were really tasty. I liked all the experience overall. If you want to eat a good burger and a fantastic torta tres leches, this is the place. I recommend to reserve the table. Little chance to eat here without a reservation.

Fine dining restaurant
Ricard Camarena Restaurant, located in Bombas Gens in Valencia since 2017, offers an exceptional culinary experience. Chef Ricard Camarena's journey from his hometown to earning his first Michelin star has shaped his elegant and seasonal Mediterranean dishes. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, the restaurant has adapted by moving its service to the garden terrace of the Art Deco building housing the Bombas Gens Art Centre.
A true farm-to-fork experience! This culinary experience will walk you through how they grow, preserve and cook their food to perfection. After traveling around in Spain for a few days, I come across a place that gives importance to fresh produce and presenting them well in each course. Also one of the few Michelin star restaurants that have a vegetarian tasting menu. Service was excellent and they made sure that we enjoy every bite. The staff was also able to answer all our questions. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and brought us some good selection. We were also taken to a chefs table where the chef was able to talk about using Carob for preserving tuna, etc. The croissant-sourdough hybrid was unbelievable! Some of the dishes were quite adventurous pushing you out of your comfort zone, but isn’t that the point of a chefs tasting menu? It was very fun.
Venkat B — Google review
Warning 😊 You either will like this place or you won’t! Vegetarian oriented cuisine but will add seafood creations into it. Gets a 5 star for presentation! If you like beef this place most likely will not get you excited. I gave all 5 for creativeness and presentation. As for taste buds satisfaction it gets a much less stars.
S E — Google review
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. The attention to detail is as expected from a 2-Star-Michelin cuisine. It was an excellent mix between meats/fish and vegetables. For me the highlight however (apart from the food) was the non-alcoholic/non-wine accompaniment. This mix of drinks of their own produce was an excellent pairing to their food and rounded up this immersive local culinary experience. Kudos to the chef, kitchen and service staff! We had a great experience and are looking forward to our next visit!

This restaurant is no secret. But take my word for it - I’ve eaten at over few hundred different 1-3 star restaurants all over the world and this was my top 3-5 experience. There’s 2/3 stars and then there’s Ricard Camarena. Easily one of the best restaurants in the world and the best in Valencia if you’re looking to be impressed. This is what 3 Michelin experience should be! Forget just technique, there’s insane flavour in every part of the menu. The food philosophy is extremely clean and with great attention to QUALITY of ingredients especially the veg. Everyone throws “farm to table” and “locally sourced” buzzwords around but few actually deliver that via flavour and love in preparation to the plate. Ricard Camarena does. Their cured tuna station is one of the most impressive taste experiences I’ve ever had in my life. MUST visit! Also we found it more than than reasonably priced for the standard of food. The desserts strike a balance between not to sweet and perfection. Petit fours were not as sensational but lovely none the less to finish the meal. The dining room is stunning, service is knowledgeable and attentive. My only advice to the restaurant would be to never forget the love that inspired Ricard Camarena and maintain that throughout the evolution of the menu in the future. Must visit for any seasoned foodie!

I don’t know if there is anything that I can say that hasn’t been said before. I have dined at many Michelin star restaurants and this is amongst the very very best. Exquisite. Very close to perfection.

Really like this experience. Perfect service and atmosphere. Interesting menu, some positions are not for everyone tastes, but definitely unusual and worth to try. Recommend to visit this and other places this Chef
Nargiz S — Google review
First time I press five stars in all aspects in a restaurant; this deserves it. The place is breathtaking, placed inside the Bombas Gen building, the decoration, the furniture and the space among the tables make feel you easy and comfortable. The staff, including Ricard, is extremely friendly and professional, one point more to comfortability; and when you start to taste the dishes offered, you really feel the sensation that the money you have to pay (not a few €) is totally fair. The textures, the presentation, and mainly, the originality in aromas and flavours is inexpectedly good. I'm not gonna describe each plate of the menu, because the surprise is another pleasant element of the enjoyable experience. To finish, undoubtedly expensive, though you have to make this trip at least once in your life.
Manuel — Google review
For us it was an amazing experience from start to finish. A beautiful location with an after-dinner bar on one side. The wine cellar is right near the entrance in full display for all guests. On the day of the reservation I received a phone call in my native language asking me once again about any potential food allergies. It was unexpected and impressive. We were greeted at our table by Chef Camarena who explained to us his vision for his restaurant and he talked about the ingredients that would be used throughout the night, from growing and harvesting, to preparation methods. The service during dinner was very attentive, with explanations for each dish, its ingredients, and why the combinations were chosen. The wine pairing was excellent. Our sommelier explained the location, the qualities, and the flavor. We would have liked to hear more about why each wine was paired with each dish. After dinner we were invited to the bar for a cocktail, which was pleasant and relaxing.

Mediterranean restaurant
El Racó de la Paella is a charming restaurant located in the historic center of Valencia, housed in an elegant Valencian mansion from the 1900s. The restaurant specializes in traditional paellas cooked over a wood fire, using local ingredients to create authentic flavors. In addition to their signature Valencian paella, they offer a variety of rice dishes such as arroz del senyoret and arroz negro.
With Guillermo directing the staff, our meal was excellent. Really friendly and detail-oriented customer service. Lovely cozy Restaurant with excellent food typical from Valencia. Regional cuisine options for tapas, as esgarrat or croquetas de bacalao. Paella valenciana de pollo y conejo which is passed on through generations. The taste of paella was soft and delicate, which is something to be appreciated in these times when paellas have been modernized and the flavours tend towards exaggeration or heaviness. It is so well worth a visit. Special point for Valencian Homemade Desserts. Torrija y tarta de limón were the crowning glory. Carpaccio de piña, great light sweet option.

Need reservation to go there!!! A must. But we were lucky enough to have a spot at the entrance of this beautiful place. The atmosphere is amazing! Everyone looks happy and relaxed. I believe the manager let us stay and eat. Paella Valenciana was not available at the time because it takes like 90 min to prepare, but that did not stop us from eating the seafood one!!! The sangria was fresh and dessert had in Unbelievable taste, me and my wife enjoyed it so much to the last scrape of the pan!!! The cordial customer service was amazing. This is a very small place, easy to find and then you can enjoy a walk around and enjoy the beautiful architecture.

Verdict: 85% yes! It could be because I’m not used to actual Spanish paella, but I didn’t love it. It was dry. I’ve made paella before, and I liked mine better. No, I don’t like everything I make. 😂 However, service was nice, presentation was as well, and it was a nice place to visit with friends. Probably good for a date. Overall I’d say, why not? Go ahead and try it out.

A truly classic meal here in Valencia. The salad was exceptional, with tuna and white asparagus. We also ordered mushroom / pumpkin balls for an appetizer (like a hush puppy) that was really delicious. Finally, the paella valencian (chicken, duck, rabbit , snails), that had so many flavors. A great lunch all around ! Make sure to have a reservation, as they have a limited amount of tables.

We were on a tour to learn how to properly make the traditional paella. The tour guide was perfect and the lunch with 3 starters, 2 wines and a dessert wine and 3 types of paella was simply superb. Well worth the cost and the time! Just right!

I was expecting more, but worth a visit. Atmosphere is great. Traditional and old house. Staff is more than friendly. I ordered a "different" paella because I wasn't feeling well... and they did it. Not sure why not 5 stars. It was a cold and rainy day... Perhaps overstated in fame. Good, but not unique in terms of food.

The Serranos Towers, an imposing pair of Gothic-style towers, are remnants of Valencia's ancient city walls. Originally built for defense, they now offer panoramic views of the city and the river. The surrounding area is perfect for exploring on foot, with attractions like Plaza de la Reina, the Cathedral and Miguelete tower offering beautiful vistas after climbing 207 steps.
This castle and place was electric and historic. Beautiful castle that you can walk through like a tunnel. There was a festival today with music, costumes and dancing. 5 star place

Very cheap, so it's worth the price for some views and pics. No much to see though. I don't recommend if you're afraid of heights, and some parts don't offer much protection.

Even though it was cloudy day, we decided to check out this place. Figured it won’t be too hot even if we climbed the 132 steps. I lost count after 50. The views are great but the area is narrow. There was a school trip so it got crowded at times. It got steeper and the stairs narrower as we got to the top. Definitely started to feel vertigo and had to get back on solid ground after a bit.
Kay B — Google review
So you have to buy a two euro ticket to go to the top it’s not for unfit people. There’s a lot of steps that you have to climb to get the top and as you can see from the photos, the view at the top is awesome. And if you wanna take a picture of yourself, etc., it makes a really good viewpoint. You’ll see from all the photos and the videos I’ve took it. Is it well worth visiting in my opinion

Awesome gothic towers. Tickets to go up are very fair, €2 per person. It's 132 stairs to the top, and more if you want to stop on both sides for the views but definitely worth it!

What is not to like about this historical monument? It is very tall and it's peak gives a good view of the sprawling city below. Be warned there are some steep and large steps to climb before you reach the peak.

Farmers Markets
Mercat de Colón, a historic market housed in a stunning modernist building dating back to 1916, has been transformed into a vibrant dining and shopping destination. Situated in the Eixample district of Valencia, it offers an array of fresh produce stalls as well as diverse restaurants and bars. Visitors can savor an authentic organic horchata breakfast at Casa Orxata while enjoying the market's architectural splendor.
This is a small market with two stories and parking below with elevator access. It is filled with many places to eat, including options such as horchata and dipping bread, coffee, gelato, sweet pastries, Japanese food, a full bar with a unique eclectic vibe, and on the second floor below ground level, there is a cheese and meat shop that also offers bottles of wine for sale. We went on a Monday around 7:30pm and many places were closed inside. Some of the restaurants are enclosed, and others offer open air seating. There aren't any actual retail shops, it is more of an eatery and small market. Very cute though and worth a walk.

It's more limited compared to the typical mercados in Spain. You can eat, drink, and shop inside, but there are fewer options. Don't expect the crowds or variety you'd find in other mercados. It has a calmer atmosphere. The building is very beautiful.
Pınar 1 — Google review
The vendors are very friendly and you can find every kind of protein, vegetable, spice, candy, beverage, wine, as well ad a number of delicious restaurants down and upstairs.

Absolutely beautiful market! Mercado de Colón in Valencia is a stunning place with great architecture and a lively atmosphere. There are plenty of options for delicious snacks and tapas. We enjoyed two beers here while soaking in the relaxed vibe. It’s the perfect spot to take a break, people-watch, and taste local flavors. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Valencia!

Not many handcraft sellers, but a beautiful building nonetheless. I would have preferred fewer coffee and food shops (which are everywhere in Valencia) on the ground level and more space for local stallholders instead.

Play cool place with lots of restaurants upstairs and downstairs. There's also some little pop up shops on the ground floor.

La Lonja de la Seda de Valencia, also known as the Silk Exchange, is a grandiose building that showcases the city's Medieval wealth through intricate stonework and carvings. It was once a symbol of Valencia's power during its economic boom in the 14th to 16th centuries due to silk production. The Merchant's Hall within the building is considered a magnificent jewel with its unique design featuring columns resembling palm trees and a ceiling meant to evoke a starry sky.
A beautiful UNESCO world heritage site in the centre of València. Very helpful staff and considering its UNESCO - there was no queues and no waiting times. We were given the option of an audio guide which we took. Very easy audio equipment to use, including the map, which directs you from around the building and even brings you on the outside of the building too! Would definitely recommend to spend an hour here.

A fascinating structure and unique interior architecture especially the columns in the main hall that support the floor. The ancient trading place mainly for the Silk trading auction and meetings is a great place to visit. The courtyard houses rare plants and orange trees with with seating to relax and enjoy the view.
Mas — Google review
Stunning architecture! La Lonja is more than just a pretty building… its architecture and internal design reflect its commercial, juridical, and symbolic roles. It is a monumental civil (i.e. non-religious) Gothic building in the old city of Valencia. It was built between 1482 and 1533, though parts (or phases) extended a bit later. It was also declared a “Monumento Nacional” in 1931 and later (in 1996) a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its primary historical purpose was as a place of commerce and trading • especially for silk (hence the name) • but also more broadly as a mercantile and legal hub. It is a superb example of late Valencian Gothic (sometimes also called “Valencian Gothic” or “Flamboyant Gothic” in its details) in a secular building. Many internal columns are twisted / helical stone pillars (roughly 16 m tall), giving an effect sometimes likened to “ropes” or “palms.” One stronger and better-documented connection is via Luis de Santángel, a financier from Valencia. According to historical accounts, Santángel (a converso, i.e. Jewish origin turned Christian) helped to underwrite or facilitate funding for Columbus’s voyage to the Americas under the Catholic Monarchs. Because of Santángel’s support and his merchant / banking role in Valencia, some have suggested indirect connections between Valencia’s mercantile circles (like those centered around La Lonja) and the expedition. (But this does not mean Columbus worked in or used the Lonja.) Some fringe or minority theories propose that Columbus came from Valencia (or from a family of silk merchants in Valencia) rather than the more traditional view that he was from Genoa (Italy). For example, in a recent documentary and some forensic / DNA-based speculation, it has been claimed that Columbus might have been from a Jewish silk-weaving family in Valencia, and that he concealed his origin to avoid persecution under the Inquisition. However, many historians and geneticists remain skeptical of these claims, finding them insufficiently substantiated. Because construction of La Lonja began circa 1482–1483, while Columbus’s first voyage began in 1492, there is a temporal overlap: the new mercantile institutions and architectural expressions in Valencia were rising just as the Atlantic era began. Some narratives point out this coincidence, suggesting that Valencia was a rising trade power in the same era Columbus sailed.
Sasho K — Google review
The entry fee was a very reasonable €2 per person. You can also rent an audio tour for an additional €2.5. We saw the amazing architecture that was ahead of its time and the stunning columns and ornate details around the building. The included video presentation was worth the watch to gain a deeper understanding of the history of the building. There was a small line outside when we arrived, but it moved quickly and we were admitted to buy our tickets shortly and explored the building on our own.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beautiful historic building! La Lonja de la Seda is a stunning example of Gothic architecture and a must-see in Valencia. The twisting columns and vaulted ceilings are incredible, and the courtyard with orange trees is peaceful and charming. It’s well-preserved, easy to visit, and gives a real sense of the city’s rich history. Highly recommended!

Place was ok for about 10 minutes, however we found English audio guide boring and overcomplicated. This adds to the fact that the 4 rooms that you could enter were completely empty. We, as a group, have been to other Spanish buildings that were not only bigger but more interesting with the same price. This led to us being quite disappointed with our experience. My advice is to see for yourself without the audioguide for 15 minutes and possibly visit the central market afterwards.
Bertie W — Google review
We did our own self-guided tour with the audio phones and walked around it was great it was late October a little busy but not super crowded. So amazing and beautiful historical place to visit.

This place is a piece of history! The architecture is amazing, especially those impressive columns and the ceiling in the big hall. We spent about an hour just wandering around, watching the presentation on the history of this place. It’s definitely worth checking out!

Horchateria De Santa Catalina is a long-standing cafe in Valencia, known for its traditional decor and delicious offerings. The cafe has been serving its patrons for over two centuries with sweet gastronomic delights, including the best churros in Valencia. The interior is adorned with classic Valencian style decorations, such as painted wall tiles depicting pastoral scenes. Visitors can indulge in creamy horchata made from crushed tiger nuts and enjoy soft churros dusted with powdered sugar.
This place was recommended by locals to try Horchata, taste was really good and I recommend it. We also ordered ice cream and were positively surprised with the portion in such touristic area. Staff is very friendly and they offer practical service, just have a seat and order. I consider prices are reasonable in such area. Decoration gives very nice vibes.

I don’t get it why this place have so much good reviews. Let me explain. When I entered to cafeteria nobody said anything. No hi, no show where I can sit, NOTHING. So I just get my table and sit. After few minutes waitress come over. She took order and after few minutes my order was on the table. Reading all those „good” reviews I expected something special, yeah, it was. Chocolate was just ok, rich and creamy. Churros was cold and chewy. Farton was just a bland dough, no taste, no sweetness. Thats a fact. Horchata wasn’t my taste but it’s just my opinion, some people can like it. In the middle of my lunch waitress just brought a check? No questions how good lunch was, how you like that, nothing. Whoooo… Ok, so is this yours customer service? Got it. When I want to make some pics (for review)of food they sell, one of lady shouted on me: NO PHOTOSSS!!! Maybe in response they will explain, why can’t make photos of food? What do you have to hide? It could be a really nice spot for horchata and churros, because inside the cafeteria looks REALLY nice, with THAT mood. I like that. But besides that, nothing is right there. Maybe all those things happened because I’m a tourist and they don’t like tourists. (Spanish people spraying water on tourist in 🇪🇸- you can see that on news) Or maybe they are like they are. I don’t know 🤷 but that was my first and LAST time. Beware of that place, especially if your are TOURIST. NOT RECOMMEND THEM

Tasty fartons and an interesting horchata drink! 🙋🏽‍♀️Tourist Review 📍The Venue: A very traditional place. It’s quite spacious, spread over two floors, though there’s no outdoor seating. 🥛What we ordered: -Horchata: My first time trying this drink! It was nice, but definitely an acquired taste — kind of like coconut water, which not everyone enjoys. Still, as a tourist, I always appreciate tasting something new. - Fartons: So good! Thy are simple but soft and sweet. Loved them! 😋 💁🏻‍♀️The Service: I enjoy writing reviews because I rely on them myself to find good spots and get a sense of the atmosphere. The waiter told me I couldn’t take photos or videos inside, which I respected — but later I noticed plenty of people taking pictures and no one said a thing 🤣. A bit inconsistent, and it’s a shame because it’s such a lovely place to show on Google. 💭Final Thoughts: A little pricey, probably due to its tradition and popularity, but worth visiting at least once. It was nice to try something different, and I’d definitely come back if I get the chance! Five stars anyway — despite they didn’t let me take photos 😂!

Great ice cream with variable tastes, amazing coffee and refreshing drinks. Churros is available in the menu as well. Tables outside at the beautiful Plaça de la Reina.Indoor interior is cosy. Smoking outside tables is allowed. The service is very kind. Recommended!

Churros should be eaten with the chocolate dip. Texture of the chocolate dip is thick yet not too sweet. However note that chocolate dip has to be ordered separately. First time trying Hotchata, nothing to compare but it was sweet. Service is terrible, didn’t feel welcoming.

Average churros and beverages. It won’t wow you, neither will it disappoint you. I guess part of the fun is its nostalgic setting, If you factor that novelty, maybe a 4 star at best.

The churros were very dry like its been reheated. Other than that everything else was great. Staff very friendly

Restaurante El Siglo, desde 1836 is a must-visit in Valencia's El Carmen district. The restaurant is known for serving the best paella in the area and offers a delightful dining experience. Visitors can enjoy well-presented and delicious food from a menu that has something for everyone. The Valencian cocktail drink and paella are highly recommended, as well as the delectable churros served with a cup of chocolate.
I had a fantastic dining experience at **El Liglo** with my family. We went there for dinner and ordered the paella, which was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the seafood was fresh. The portion size was generous, perfect for sharing. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a family meal. The staff were also attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed. I highly recommend El Liglo for anyone looking to enjoy a flavorful, authentic Spanish meal!

A knockout paella de marisco! Super yummy, great flavor and a great portion at reasonable fare. The staff are friendly, the grub is good and made fresh to order, overall a nice humble little dig. The paella is a minimum 2 order to share and easily plenty enough grub for two adults. Support local businesses!

Only came for drinks. Got an aperol spritz, not sure how they made it but it had a strong flavour of bitters or organge liquor.. only had a few sips and the waiter just asked if I had finished when paying. Did not care to enquire why I left the full glass of drink… very bad experience. One of the simplest cocktails to make and they got it wrong. The customer service, or I should say lack of made the experience terrible…

We were there for dinner on Saturday night. Recommended by a ceramic shop owner close by for the best Paella in El Carmen district. The restaurant manager kindly accepted us even though we had no reservations and gave us a nice table inside the restaurant. The food was delicious and well presented. Everything on the menu looked good and whatever we ordered tasted great. Must try Valencian cocktail drink and their paella . Even the steak was delicious.

Walked in there without seeing the rating… …I’m surprised it’s 3.4 - too high for their service Our waitress was useless, he didn’t even try to understand what I mean when I say I understand one paella is for 2 people - I need 1 paella for 2 people, not 2 paella for 4 people, then he couldn’t explain to us what beer is what and kept repeating it’s Spanish beer - we know that, we can see, eventually we had to pick a random one. Paella was slightly raw, we got 5 plates for 6 people just put on the table together with weird uneven cutleries, no one came to take empty bottles from our table when there wasn’t enough space for plates.

We ate here for the NYE dinner. Was the best choice we ever did! They saved our NYE night I swear. We didn't make reservations for a place so we needed to find one and just went for this one. The fooooood was amaziiiiing. The price was for the whole NYE menu but they gave us more food than we could eat. The steak was simply delicious and they also gave us multiple aperitivos. They also have very good desert but there was no more space for it in the belly sadly😂

Tasca Sorolla is a tiny, authentic tapas spot located near Mercado Central in Valencia. It's a local favorite where regulars often spill out onto the street, enjoying tasty vermouth and delicious seafood from the small wooden bars along the window ledges. The atmosphere is welcoming and local, with a chill server who greets customers like old friends. The menu features fantastic seasonal dishes, including lovely artichokes that are highly recommended.
Where to begin! If someone had told us this place had a Michelin star or was working towards one - I’d believe it! We walked past late on a Friday night and it was a big vibe. We came back a couple days later for dinner and had an unforgettable meal. Such an intimate place, a small menu, cooking simple but elegant dishes.

Very small but perfectly formed. Great menu with lots of fish options. We had the tuna, tomato salad, cod croquettes & anchovies. The server recommended a local wine which was delicious. It’s small with only 14 covers inside & out with a tiny but very organised kitchen. Definitely worth a visit if you can time it right & get a seat

One of my favorite spots in Valencia!!! The food was excellent — the tapas were made of high quality ingredients (both produce and seafood) and seasoned and cooked perfectly to bring out the flavor of the ingredients. The owner (? maybe) served us with so much care — making sure our food came out at a good pace the tuna was so excellent. also loved the tomatoes, cheese, peppers, cuttlefish. the cod croquettes were so tasty and you could taste the fish and it felt so homey. can’t recommend this place enough!!

The Spanish restaurant Secreter Sala de estar has a menu that features tasteful dishes with subtle flavors. The terrace is a peaceful oasis in the heart of the old town, and the service is exceptional.
Very impressive starters with subtle flavours and a delicious paella followed by homemade cheesecake and chocolate cake for dessert. Both interior and courtyard dining. The ladies waiting the tables speak excellent English (for those concerned with understanding the menu) and are extremely friendly. Away from the tourist areas. Reasonably priced fixed menu (choice of three dishes per course. Three courses for 13€). Great wine and beer available

Great place for eating great local food dishes. They are not selling ”paella” every day, because their food is good enough and fancy. The only thing I would mention is drinks and coffee are not part of the price of the menu. So the final price is 11€ plus drinks and coffee which about 15€.

Restaurante Lienzo is a trendy Michelin-starred restaurant in Valencia, located in a former art gallery. The chef, Maria Jose Martinez, recently won the first Michelin star for the restaurant. The cuisine is described as creative and avant-garde Mediterranean, using seasonal and local produce to create visually stunning dishes. The restaurant maintains its artistic spirit by hosting temporary exhibitions that change every three months.
A serene athmosphere and delicious food with a super super welcoming team. They take you on a full fledged culinary tour of Valencia that is just perfect for a special occasion. We did the 10 course for our 7th anniversary and the guys even surprised us with a little celebratory dessert plate. I’d 101% recommend!
Varga E — Google review
The lunch started with a few amuse bouches: with cheese, smokes fish and pumpkin and a cream puff with cheese. It was a good start. The snokes fish on pumpkin was really surprising, sweat, salty and smoky. The first course was cuddlefish with a cracker of squidink. It was light and fresh and very tasty. Then we got the sea bream with spinach. A nice piece of fish with crispy skin. I liked the taste of the spinach too. For main we got some beef cheek rolled in some sort of dough. It was a good dish. The cheek well cooked, the sauce not too salty. And for dessert we got different kinds of honey and a sorbet. And a piece of honeycomb. What I like about this place is that they're not trying to upsel anything. A glass of wine for a very reasonable price too! However, if you like beautiful ambiances with nice decorations and flowers, this is not your place. If you don't mind a non decorated table/room and you like good honest food, I would recomment eating here.

Out of this world. We went for a special occasion and it was more expensive than I'd normally pay but absolutely value for money. We had the €100 10 course tasting menu and every dish was an adventure. Everything was sourced from the Valencia region with a focus on bio/organic and supporting local producers. The chef is a beekeeper and bees were a theme throughout. The waiter was very patient, attentive and had a good sense of humour. It was fine dining without feeling pretentious. I'd love an excuse to return!
Kat S — Google review
One of the most adventurous culinary evenings I’ve experienced, Chef Maria is clearly at the top of her game. Of all Michelin one-star restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of dining in, this is the most deserving (from a culinary perspective) of a second star. The menu is inspired and creative. Compared to its peers, Lienzo features a better balance of produce on the tasting menu, which seems better designed and executed to alight all of one’s senses (including visual and aromatic, not just taste). There is a focus on bees and honey, as well as sustainability, in the design of many courses - for example, pea pod shells are used to create a sauce for one dish, while off-parts of a fish are used to create a sausage complement to the sea bass. Presentations are among the most visually pleasing you’ll find at any restaurant in the world. The wine pairing was a delight, with the selections almost uniformly from Spain. Some pourings were truly special - among the best wines I’ve ever tasted. Service was attentive, with all the dishes and pourings explained. If I were to offer some suggestions to the restaurant - slow down the pacing of courses, especially in the middle of the meal. My guest and I were scarcely finished with one course when the next course (and glass of wine) were appearing. The entry area needs to be improved - it looks like a storage area and doesn’t provide the ‘wow factor’ one would typically find when entering a restaurant of this caliber. It would have been nice to have been given a printed copy of the night’s menu at the end of the meal, and we would have loved to have been provided with an opportunity to purchase some honey jars for takeaway at the end of the meal - perhaps by turning the entry area into a retail honey display decorated with an homage to honey, bees and their role in the food chain! And here’s an odd one - suggest raising the price of the tasting menu. Thank you Team Lienzo for a wonderful meal. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :-)

We had dinner at Lienzo tonight and we were not disappointed, the set menu started in a really simple way to then evolve to a really complex and articulated dishes where all of them were better than the one before. The calamari was absolutely delicious and I could not recommend this restaurant more, Alessio took care of us the whole night explaining everything in our language (italian) with a lot of care and attention to detail, making our experience all the way to the top. The restaurant really does care about giving you the best taste you can find in Valencia.

I loved the restaurant, so minimalistic, elegant and just beautiful. The waiters do such a terrific work walking you through the different courses, the ambiance is so nice. The food? No words. The atmosphere anaesthetizes through sensory overload: thousands of white (always white) lights, strolling people, every shop playing different music. It’s numbing, like looking at your phone, but I suppose there’s a reason people look at their phones and there’s a reason people come to big malls like Saler. The shops are a mix of international and Spanish brands. You can get your hair cut, your nails done, get your toddler’s hair cut, donate blood - you can even walk your dog… There’s a gigantic Carrefour that has all the groceries you could ever want. The workers are mostly just getting through their days. It makes sense to be able to get everything in one place, especially when the weather’s hot or rainy, but - personally speaking - I’d take the rain any day.

I was in the tezenis store today…i asked for help and the woman with res hair that workes in the store told me:that i am in spain, like here in this country only spanish speaking…it was obvious that she dont like tourists…sad because i want it to buy 3 pieces…

Park
Gulliver Park in Valencia, Spain is a whimsical and playful destination inspired by the classic tale of Gulliver's Travels. The park features a massive play structure of the character Gulliver, where children can climb, slide, and explore within the folds of his clothes and hair. This unique park offers an exciting adventure for kids as they immerse themselves in this larger-than-life playground.
Seeing the photos doesn’t do justice for just how massive the park really is! It is incredibly well built with slides, stairs, cargo nets, and play spots all the way around the statue. Free to enter and definitely built for bigger kids. Still some spots to play and enjoy for the smaller kids too. Wish I could have played here when I was a kid!!
Cameron A — Google review
Gulliver Park in Valencia, Spain, is an absolute must-visit, especially if you’re traveling with kids or simply want to experience something truly unique. We visited in April, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect — sunny, warm, and just right for a full day outdoors. The park was very busy, filled with families and children laughing and playing, but that only added to the lively atmosphere. The park itself is spectacular. It’s centered around a giant sculpture of Gulliver from Gulliver’s Travels, lying on the ground with his arms, legs, and hair transformed into slides, ramps, and climbing structures. The attention to detail in the sculpture is impressive, and the sheer scale of it makes you feel like a Lilliputian yourself. It’s both a visual delight and a playground paradise. There’s so much to explore, and every part of the sculpture is interactive. Kids and adults alike were sliding down Gulliver’s arms, climbing ropes, and navigating tunnels. It’s a wonderful blend of art, imagination, and adventure. The surrounding park area is also beautifully maintained, with shaded spots for relaxing and plenty of green space. If you’re in Valencia, Gulliver Park is an unforgettable stop that brings out the child in everyone.

Interesting concept for a playground. A cool place for kids to discover but the variety of equipment is limited. The climbing might be slippery if we don’t wear suitable shoes.
Ching-Yen C — Google review
Yesterday was my second time there and I absolutely loved it, would go back again for sure if I'm in Valencia again. It's such a creative idea, kids & grown-ups can enjoy sliding down and climbing up on Gulliver's body. Great time out for the whole family and the whole experience is free!
Tóth K — Google review
Awesome idea, this is the place to be a kid again no matter how old are you. I saw grandpatents play with kids in it, this is just the simple joy of life with the little ones. Just grab some clothes to play and do it. I didn't like that in some parts the climb was slippery and steep. There are rocks on the ground, I think a soft material would have been more suitable.
Nico — Google review
Really nice playground for kids and kids at heart. We visited in the afternoon on a weekend. There were a lot of people but it’s not too crowded. Some part can be too hot because it’s exposed to direct sunlight.
Ana A — Google review
Ever felt like a giant in a world built just for you? Parc Gulliver in Valencia is pure magic a massive, climbable Gulliver straight out of a storybook! Kids and adults alike can scramble over his giant hands or slide down his coat. Did you know the park’s design is so precise that Gulliver’s proportions match the book’s description perfectly? A must-visit for anyone craving a playful, larger-than-life adventure!
Andrea — Google review
I'm not a child and didn't play there, but when I saw the giant Gulliver on the ground and the children roaming around, I was as delighted as a child. I spent several minutes exploring the possibilities of this playground, with its interesting design, something I'd never seen before. They had a blast, climbing, sliding, and scrambling. It's a beautiful place, full of magic, and it's well-maintained. That's probably why it's in such good condition.

Valencia Station North

Train station
Valencia Station North, also known as Estacio del Nord, is a stunning art nouveau building that serves as Valencia's main train station. Designed by Valencian architect Demetrio Ribes Marco and completed in the early 20th century, it has been declared a Historical Artistic Monument. The grand entrance hall exudes an old-world charm, offering visitors a glimpse into the city's rich history.
Great train station communicated with The train station Joaquin Sorolla! So no need to walk through the street. There is a separated path that connects both stations! Be aware that the is going through some refurbishing and some stores and cafeterias are close for the time being. For the rest is amazing!
M R — Google review
Valencia North Train Station is a beautiful old building, but right now it is definitely not the easiest place to travel through. There is a lot of construction happening inside, with certain pathways blocked off, which makes it tricky to get to the platforms quickly. One thing to be aware of is that the platform information comes up very last minute. I actually missed a train because the platform for my departure was only announced about 10 minutes before it left, and I happened to be on the other side of the station. The layout of the platforms is also very confusing. For example, platforms 21 and 22 are hidden away on a far corner down the left side, while platforms like 8 are all the way on the opposite side. Lesson of the day: leave yourself extra time when travelling from here, especially if you do not know the station well.
Em W — Google review
A very beautiful station with preserved original mosaic paintings, which makes it exceptionally beautiful and the star of the city.
Helen E — Google review
Quite a nice train station, well situated in city center, easily accessible. It jas about 10 lanes. Ticket offices are inside, at the entrance. To access the lanes, the ticket needs to be scanned at automatic gates. Currently under renovation. There are not many street parking possibilities.
CJ — Google review
Beautiful station, operational shambles. The main notice board is completely malfunctioning, presumably due to the seemingly unending construction. Nobody around to help. Untrue there was one poor waif pushed out to deal with hundreds of confused passengers. Sensibly she scarpered at the first opportunity. Of course we missed our train. Platform information only goes up 10 minutes beforehand and we had foolishly followed the main sign board. So come and look at the beautiful tiles and then go get the bus
John M — Google review
Needs updating. Schedules don't match google maps. Not easy to travel if it's the first time you've been there. The train lines are divided in sections, so different sections have different trains. Be aware. There are many shops and caffès inside. Easy to get from the airport stopping at Xativa station, underground lines 3 and 5
Newyorkiri — Google review
Visit the old cafeteria area (which is now an empty hall). It is an ornate but empty room on the very right side, immediately after you enter the station. Amazing celebration of the role of women in the economy of Valencia, particularly during the era when oranges was the city’s greatest economic driver. The same motifs of celebrating women in Valencia can be found all over the outside area too — see pics. Awesome architecture and cool vibe to it! Would recommend if you are into that kind of goodness!
Nabil R — Google review
During my holiday I visited with my girlfriend the Nord Station in Valencia. We did this because we did go to Madrid by train from Valencia. The station looks very nice from the outside. Also the inside is very nice. You can buy tickets at a desk or you can buy them buy your own at a machine or online. When you buy them online it is most of the time more expensive in comparison with the station. It is easy to go to the station by bus or taxi. Don’t go by you own car because it is not easy to park your car there. You can also buy drinks, snacks and sandwiches at the station. The people who work dear are not so good in English. But they do their best to help you out when you have question. The trains in Spain look very clean and they even serve drinks, snacks and sandwiches in the train itself. The trip itself was very nice. We saw a lot of Spain during the train ride. We traveled by high speed train. The train traveled with a speed of more than 300k/h. In the train you did not feel a thing of this.

El Corte Inglés is a sophisticated department store with its own rooftop cafeteria/restaurant called La Placa Gastro Mercat. It offers a wide variety of food options, from small snacks to hot dishes, and features a wine tap where you can sample different wines by the glass. It's the perfect spot to take a break from shopping and grab a quick bite to eat. Located centrally in Valencia, El Corte Inglés is known for providing an unparalleled shopping experience.
What a wonderful place! I loved it from a to z. The location is perfect. The design is perfect. The service is so great. Most products are very high quality. Very recommended.
Marc M — Google review
This store has everything .. Quality for sure, pricing and bit higher, but location is fantastic. Check out tills are a little tight and entrance into the building with carry on cart is kinda of a pain, not as simple as going to a regular supermarket. I give it 4.6 stars.
Cabo J — Google review
We came here because of the free tapas and drinks included in the valencia card. This is a great shopping mall, with lotsa good choices of goods. The supermarket below is great for souvenirs as well.
Anthony C — Google review
My family and I visited this store on 19th June and we all had to use the restrooms. We all found them to be filthy dirty and stinking of stale urine. I’ve been in public toilets that were cleaner. Not what you would expect from a high end expensive department store. Absolutely revolting
NIAMH O — Google review
In general El corte Inglés shopping malls are great. And so is this one. It just looks tired in places and could do with a bit of a face lift to make it feel like somewhere that hasn't lost it's relevance. Online shopping is massive now and there has to be a reason to go to somewhere like ECI. Something that makes it feel special.
Scott W — Google review
Poor extremely poor customer service - when buying in store, they do not attend to you or ask you, looking at you “are you sure? This is extremely expensive…”. Well it is not because one is not wearing channel or boss that one cannot afford it. I also tried online, but the returning process is terrible...one needs to go at the right “caja”, meaning looking at the brand of the clothe, look for it in the building and within the floor and then return it, if they have the brand ordered if not well, too bad - need to send by mail. No point in buying from them if you need to run through the entire shop to fin the brand, better go to the brand shop directly or their online version. Too bad because the shop has good brands but terrible attention to clients and return policies are a nightmare !
Aurore T — Google review
Definitely don’t buy electronics here. Worst service (took me 30 minutes to get anyone to help me) and the return policy is shameful. Broken headphones I bought here are now my €150 problem. No shame.
Zach Z — Google review
They don’t accept digital IDs for tax-free, while other shops in Valencia accept them without any issues. It seems to be some kind of policy, but it’s not a customer-friendly one.

Outdoor Activities
Malvarrosa beach in Valencia is a 1km-long city beach with soft sand and a bustling promenade lined with shops and restaurants. It's a popular spot for sunbathing, strolling along the waterfront, and enjoying outdoor cafes, bars, and clubs during the summer months. Accessible by public transportation, it offers a more relaxed and local atmosphere compared to Las Arenas beach.
One of the widest beaches I've seen! There's so much space you can play volleyball or football without worrying about bothering anyone. The amount of soft sand is incredible—you could almost build a house with it! It’s about an hour’s walk from the center, but totally worth it. Just pop in some music and enjoy the stroll like I did. A perfect mix of nature, freedom, and relaxation! ♡♡♡

malvarrosa Beach is wide, clean, and great for a relaxing day by the sea. I rented 2 sunbeds and a parasol for €30 on the right side near the beach bar service was quick and friendly. The sand is soft, and the water is usually calm, perfect for swimming. Security is visible with Red Cross staff and Guardia police patrolling on quads, which makes the beach feel very safe. Tip: go early in the morning to avoid the midday rush
Messaoudi R — Google review
Beautiful city beach with sand and without any shade unless you get an umbrella. Very spacious so even when there is a lot of people it doesn't feel overcrowded. There are bars and restaurants every few meters on a promenade next to the beach

Sand beach in Valencia, easy to catch with public transport or bycicles, excellent choice to spend afternoon with friends, with drinks and food, your own or taken nearby. Enough place for everybody.

To rent a chair for a day costs 6€, sunchair 9€, umbrella 9€. Nice sandy beach. No changing rooms.
Anastasia K — Google review
I would say one of the best beaches I’ve been to in a long time. The sand is so thin but soft. They have showers outdoors and fountains to wash your feet in. You can rent an umbrella and some beach chairs and enjoy your day here. You can walk up and down the beach and enjoy the views and collecting seashells. Overall, if you happen to be in Valencia, I would highly recommend a stop here.

Palace Fesol, a longstanding establishment since 1909, is situated in a prominent business and financial district of Valencia. It's a must-visit for aficionados of Valencian cuisine, offering high-quality traditional dishes with modern twists. The menu features meat, rice, and fish dishes, including the famous local broad bean specialties. This beloved institution prides itself on serving locally sourced ingredients daily and comes highly recommended for its fresh catch of the day paired with delectable vegetables.
We had the pleasure of dining at Palace Fesol in Valencia, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Our server, Inma, was super welcoming and offered expert recommendations on traditional Valencian dishes. We indulged in local delicious specialties that were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was cozy, with beautiful decor. Palace Fesol is a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic Valencian cuisine and exceptional service. Gracias, Inma, for a memorable time!!!"

We ordered the Valenciana Paella. It was very good, with rich flavor and quality ingredients. I wouldn’t consider it the best in all Valencia, however. I was so upset with the way we were treated by the staff that it made it difficult for me to enjoy the food, which was disappointing. We went there as a recommendation from our hotel concierge, they helped us with reservations. When we got there, they sat us on a table right by the kitchen door in the working area and walking path. I asked to be seated somewhere else, my second option was outside the toilets. If you saw the size of the place and the fact that the place was empty when we arrived, only two other tables were taken, you wonder if this was done to discourage us from eating there or what. I asked about other tables but was told they were ALL reserved. We ate and when we left the place was still barely busy. Most tables were still unoccupied. Our waitress was also extremely dismissive. Needless to say, customer service is NOT their strong suit. As I speak fluent Spanish, I know language was not the issue here.

My friends and myself went to this restaurant the very last minute and we were welcomed by Flavia, a nice waitress who really took the lunch to another level. She entirely explained the menu and we decided to pick patata bravas as a starter and two paella, one Valencian and one with sea food. Both were delicious with my preference towards the seafood one. Throughout the lunch, Flavia had been checking over to make sure we were enjoying our paellas. At the end, along with desserts, she also offered us some chupitos and they also were great! Great food and EXCELLENT service. Thank you again Flavia

100 Montaditos is a popular chain known for its Spanish mini-sandwiches and affordable beer and wine. Customers love the tapas and the incredibly low prices, making it a great option for a quick, budget-friendly meal. While some have noted that the service can be slow and the cleanliness could be improved, many still highly recommend it for its value for money.
1 euro tapas! And 1.5 euro drinks. Not the best food but for the price its good
John C — Google review
Great place to go for a drink, 2 euro for a pint and 2 euro for a red wine. We had some sandwiches, they were cheap, but still not worth the money. We would recommend the salads and the nachos. Some of the servers just did not want to be there and it showed. Many had no English, would recommend having your order translated before ordering at the counter. The toilets were not very clean. Go for the cheap drinks.

I really loved the Tapas there. Someday I will have made my way through the whole menue. The prices are so cheap and the food tastes amazing. Best kind of fastfood ever. We were 2 persons and paid about 20 euros for food and drinks (we had 4 Sangria) together one day and were absolutely fed up. The BIG BUT: it's not very clean. It tooks the service very long to clean up the tables but yeah.. who cares for that prices

Valencian restaurant
Casa Carmela is a long-standing restaurant in Valencia known for serving traditional Valencian paella and seafood rice dishes since 1922. The establishment follows age-old instructions to create a thin layer of rice with an authentic smoky flavor, using only orange wood and fresh local ingredients. Located near Playa de la Malvarrosa, the restaurant offers a privileged dining experience by the sea.
A truly lovely local experience! This was the best Paella 🥘 I’ve ever had, cooked traditionally over a bonfire. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere, and the service was professional and welcoming. We started with a fresh salad and crispy calamari—both delicious. The traditional Paella was definitely the right choice, especially compared to so many other places in Valencia. Pre-booking is highly recommended, as locals also suggested. The décor creates a great vibe, and despite being busy, everything was spotless—hygiene standards were excellent, including the toilets. As a tourist, I also loved being able to watch the Paella cooking process, which made the experience even more special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Valencia!

Its one of the best restaurants in Valencia. But its very busy, reservations are recommended. They also close early at 16:00. We didn’t have a reservation so we sat at the bar are, there no paella is available. They say they have the best ones. We had riso bolito and it was ok. Not like paella. Everything was delicious. Staff was kind and attentive. Its located by the beach , far from the center.

The Restaurant was in an amazing part of Valencia's seaside. The premises were impeccable, clean and amazingly decorated. All the service was well organised: despite lots of people checking in at the same time (lots of people waiting out of the door before the opening time, 1 pm), we were immediately served. We opted for the Tasting Menu, and we didn't regret it. We ate paella at other places in Valencia, but this was definitely the best.
Sali U — Google review
It’s a nice restaurant, but is very hyped and thus always packed. For that reason, some of the reviews that mention a “paella factory” vibe are correct. However most paella places near the beach are also like that. The paella is flavorful; they have an extensive wine list and there is a bar area that can seat walk-ins when they are not too busy. They do have a €50 euro pp minimum, so it is certainly a pricey option for Valencia. And, I do believe that there are comparable paella restaurants in Valencia that are just as good and less expensive. The location right off the beach is great. The wood-fired paella has a nice flavor and it’s fun to watch them make it. If you can ask for seats in the primary dining room, it would be recommended.
Gretchen G — Google review
If by any chance you’re around do go to Casa Carmela. As a single client I’ve been nicely welcomed. Indeed you cannot have a paella for 1 but Valencia it’s not only paella 😊 My grilled fish and vegetables where just perfect. And talking about the dessert tarta manzana con turron helado recomanded by the waitress… speechless😋😋 🙏🙏
