The Ali & Nino Statue is a captivating sculpture located in Batumi, Georgia. This 8-meter-tall artwork, created by Georgian sculptor Tamara Kvesitadze, depicts the intertwined figures of Ali and Nino. The sculpture represents the love story between a Muslim man from Azerbaijan and a Christian Georgian princess during the early 20th century.
The Ali & Nino statue is a very romantic place to visit. The story behind it adds a lot of meaning, and watching the figures move is really beautiful. The statue itself is smaller than it looks in photos or videos, but it’s still impressive and full of charm. It’s lovely to see both during the day and at night — the lights at night make it even more special. Definitely worth a stop when you’re in Batumi.
Ramez S — Google review
The moving statue of Ali and Nino is a must-see landmark solely because it is iconic in Batumi—it's essential for your photos while visiting the city! Other than its visual significance, there is nothing special about the viewing experience. Crowd Warning & Tips: This area is heavily crowded for most of the day and evening. Your best bet for a better view with fewer people is early in the day (daytime is much less crowded) or waiting until after 10 PM. If you go between those times, be prepared for a massive crowd around the statue.
Iqram A — Google review
A Unique Landmark with a Memorable Vibe The Ali and Nino statue is a must-see while in Batumi — its slow, graceful motion tells a powerful story and adds a poetic feel to the waterfront. While the sculpture appears larger in photos, it’s still quite captivating in person and beautifully crafted. The area around the statue is lively, though it can get a bit crowded with people offering flowers or asking for money, which slightly took away from the calmness of the experience. That said, renting a nearby boat for 150 GEL was a great choice. It gave us a peaceful escape and a stunning view of the coastline from the sea, adding something special to the visit.
Kasra S — Google review
The statue might look huge from photos but it is of normal size. the crowd around is minimal. The magic happens when the two statues meet and connect. There is a long boardwalk and lot of rides that is on offer including boat rides, Jet ski,Scooters and small boats
Ramesh N — Google review
What a wonderful place in the Batumi Boulevard. Situated beside the beach , this moving statue is one of the major attractions in the park . Also , whenever you come here , do google the story behind it . The nightview with all the lights makes it an even more stunning place .
Pranoy P — Google review
One question: why was such a beautiful sculpture placed in such a terrible spot? It’s a location with huge tourist crowds, corn vendors, and loud music from all the stalls. You can’t get close to the sculpture, the horizon is literally cluttered. There’s no intimacy at all.
Yule — Google review
Very beautiful touristic attraction! The movement of both statues toward each other was definitely worth seeing.
Wanderfly T — Google review
The Ali and Nino statue was definitely worth seeing—it’s beautiful and the movement of the sculpture is fascinating. However, it wasn’t as big as it looks in the pictures, which was a bit surprising. The only downside was the presence of some beggars and people constantly trying to sell flowers, which slightly affected the experience. We also rented a boat nearby for 150 GEL, which was a nice addition to the visit and allowed us to enjoy the sea views from a different perspective.

We visited there in the dark. The street is very beautiful. The tall buildings are lit up in a very impressive way. The fountain is stunning.

Very beautiful and peaceful place. Perfect for walking. The boulevard is full of people enjoying their time, playing, walking, biking, etc. Very clean and well maintained, the greenery is beautiful and the playgrounds are nice. The seaside is nice and most of the attractions are within the boulevard or nearby.

This is without a doubt the heart of the city. It's a beautiful and huge wooded park that stretches for 7 kilometers along the Black Sea coast. It is the perfect place to stroll at any time of day, whether for walking, running, or renting a bike. It's clearly a meeting point for locals and tourists, always full of life. The place is very well-maintained, with various modern sculptures, cafes, and fountains. An essential and relaxing walk.

Batumi Boulevard Park is one of the most beautiful parks in the city, stretching along the Black Sea coast. Originally established in 1881, it features palm trees, sculptures, bike paths, cafes, and plenty of spots to relax — making it a favorite among both locals and visitors. Personally, I really enjoy spending time here, especially in the evenings. The musical fountain show adds a special charm and makes the atmosphere even more enjoyable. It's a perfect place for a peaceful walk, watching the sunset, or simply unwinding by the sea.
Birsen Y — Google review
A beautiful place for long walks or a jog (5km...) along the beachfront or the tree-lined paths alongside. Clean and picturesque with the varied architecture in the background. Really nice.

What a thriving place... Mornings and evenings are so gorgeous. There are cycling track, walking lane and roraing black sea near both. There are multipal food shacks and some good entertainment in the evening. Eveningn is very vibrant here.

The first place I went after checking in to my hostel. 8 kms of beauty. Right near the beach. Very lively. It's a good idea to rent a city bike and take tour around. It's also connected to the 6 may park. There is a little japanese garden in there. Gelato shops, bars, coffee places and the best doggies in the world are all summoned in this park 🫠

Beautiful square with unique architecture. It's full of small shops and has a vibrant atmosphere. Plenty of small shops and restaurants around the area too. I recommend going around the golden hour, as light beautifully reflects off the buildings.

Europe Square is a wonderful place to visit. The square features beautiful architecture inspired by different countries across Europe, giving it a unique and charming atmosphere. Each building represents a distinct European style, making it feel like a small tour around the continent in one spot. It’s clean, lively, and great for walking around, taking photos, or just relaxing and enjoying the surroundings

Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Batumi—go in the early evening to catch the square at its best: pleasant light, good café vibe, and the mix of old and new architecture. Great for a stroll, a coffee, some photos, or simply soaking in the local vibe.

This square is the true heart of the old town and one of the most beautiful places in the city. It is surrounded by buildings with beautiful, well-preserved facades in classic European architecture. The main highlight is the imposing Statue of Medea, which stands in the center holding the Golden Fleece. It's a very popular meeting point, featuring a fun fountain that springs directly from the ground. Additionally, it's common to find small craft fairs selling local souvenirs. It is a perfect place to stroll and take photos. It is free to visit.

Very beautiful area in the heart of Batumi’s city center, filled with shops, restaurants and cafes. It has a monument with a statue of Medea, which holds a symbol of the glory and cultural development of old Colchis - the golden fleece. The area is surrounded by very beautiful buildings with lovely European architecture. There’s a bazaar as well where locals showcase all kinds of products.
Abdulrahman Q — Google review
A beautiful square. From the name itself Europe square no doubt it is like you were in one of the city in Europe. Cafes, restaurants, fast foods are just around the corner. It is beautifully constructed with a large square meter. Definitely, should be one of your list if you’re coming in Batumi.

Europe Square in Batumi is one of the city’s most elegant spots. Surrounded by beautiful architecture that reflects Batumi’s 19th-century charm, the square is a symbol of Georgia’s connection to Europe. At its center stands the striking statue of Medea holding the Golden Fleece, a reference to the ancient Greek myth in which Jason and the Argonauts traveled to Colchis (today’s western Georgia) to retrieve it. It’s a perfect place to relax, take photos, and feel the mix of history, culture, and modern life that defines Batumi.

We had a wonderful dinner here. The atmosphere is warm and cosy. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The menu has so much to choose from: we loved the baked aubergine, tender veal shashlik, perfectly fried suluguni, home-style potatoes and the unique khachapuri on a skewer. A great place for a quality Georgian food.

This cozy restaurant is centrally located in Batumi and offers plenty of indoor seating in a cool and comfortable setting. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the service is efficient. If you're interested in trying authentic Georgian cuisine, this is a great place to start. Just a heads-up — coriander is commonly used in many dishes, so take note if you're not a fan. The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are generous, making it a satisfying dining experience overall.

Nice restaurant, cozy atmosphere and delicious food. It’s one of the most well-known restaurants in the city that serves traditional Georgian food. Everything was tasty, my favorites were the traditional Georgian salad, the lobio stew and chicken Satsivi.

Food was tasty and served really quick, prices are reasonable for city centre. Baked eggplant really nice, better than expected but not like cheese. Staff should smile more as you feel.more like invaders than guests this is only negative comment I have.

This is one of my favorite cafes in Batumi. The food is always good! Grilled eggplant with cheese and nut sauce? - yes, please! You’ve probably heard of it already. The staff is always polite and friendly. Kids are always welcomed to this place. All of my friends who have been here loved the atmosphere and Georgian cuisine! My next order will be grilled trout and khachapuri :) Best wishes, D

Batumi Piazza Square is a must-see destination near the Black Sea, boasting an Italian-style ambiance with surrounding buildings featuring European architecture. This bustling square is home to numerous hotels, restaurants, and cafes, making it one of the liveliest spots in Georgia. At its center lies Europe's largest figurative marble mosaic, covering an impressive 106 square meters.
At night there is a lot of fun for everybody even for my kids. The music the action the activity was amazing. The atmosphere was wonderful. Great place to be. Don't miss such place. The Arab street is close to it also. Be careful it's not easy to bark in such area is a taxi which is much much better than your own car, which will save you time and headach.

It is much smaller than I expected and was not very busy at all, albeit being a mid morning on a Friday. It probably is much busier in the evenings and late afternoon. Some beautiful architecture around. There is live music in the evenings which should be nice.

Ramez S — Google review
This square is a charming place that looks like a piece of Italy in Batumi. The architecture of the surrounding buildings is all in the Venetian style, which makes the atmosphere very beautiful. The square is full of cafes and restaurants, making it a great place to sit and relax. There is also a tall tower with a musical clock. It is a very pleasant spot to visit, especially at night, when it's livelier and there is often live music. Entry to the square is free, and the cafes accept card payments.

Somehow atmosphere in this square full cafes make this place is cold and warmless. Even live music unknown artist with heavy backtape can't save. Can go therefor for check spot, but not more. Maybe if you need perfect photos, rent wedding dress and make one. This place have nice architecture and be the place where good photographer can uplift your mode.

SAJJAD H — Google review
Very beautiful place, very lively atmosphere filled with restaurants and cafes. The square is surrounded by very beautiful architecture and it’s most renowned for the beautiful mosaic in its center. The 106 square meter mosaic is considered the largest figurative marble mosaic in Europe. Designed by the Georgian-Swiss designer Natali de Pita Amirejibi. The mosaic was created in 2010, according to de Pita-Amirejbi’s original sketches at the Fantini Mosaici workshop in Abu Dhabi. Upon its completion the mosaics were transferred to Batumi and then assembled piece by piece under Natali de Pita Amirejibi’s personal supervision.

Aromi Italiani is a pizza restaurant in the city of Batumi, located in the heart of the city. The food here is typically Italian, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The prices are reasonable, making it a great option for late-night dining. Outdoor seating is available, making it a great place to enjoy a summer evening.
The pizzas here were excellent! We enjoyed them so much that we came back the next day to try a few desserts, which were just as amazing. Every dish we tried impressed us—not a single one disappointed. The interior was well done and created a pleasant atmosphere. Service was a bit slow when it came to taking orders, but overall, it was a great experience.

It's my first time in this place, I liked the variety of the menu, everyone can find his favourite kind of food. Their croissants are tasty and really so appealing. Their prices are affordable and more reasonable than any other place. The service should be improved. I was waiting for too long and nobody checked my table. Later on I called one of the staff and ordered, also they vanished for long time even the item was already ready. I can recommend it if you're flexible and patient for such service. Note that the cashier is super rude!!

Hello! On August 19, 2025, at about 2:00 pm, I tried to place an order for 30 minutes at the Aroma Italiani cafe, 6 Nikoloz Baratashvili Street, Batumi 6000. After 30 minutes, a waitress with dark hair and a round face came up to us and refused to take the order!! and serve us! While we were waiting, we managed to wipe the dirt and water off the table with napkins! This waitress announced her dislike for foreigners and demanded that we get out of Georgia! The worst experience in the history of public catering!! The highest level of lack of culture and rudeness!! I would like to ask you to take action against this rude and boorish waitress!! and get an answer: is it possible to come to your cafe and still get an order or is it impossible? and can I avoid discrimination and humiliation based on nationality in your cafe? Or do you not serve foreigners? I would also like to ask: in which court would it be convenient for you to consider a lawsuit in civil or criminal proceedings? I would like to record this crime today at the police station.

Iveria Beach is a glamorous and popular spot in Batumi, Georgia, offering a perfect blend of daytime relaxation and vibrant nightlife. The beach features an outdoor gourmet restaurant, lounge, and hosts various local and international artists. It's known for its scenic views of the Black Sea and is a favorite among those who enjoy dancing and experiencing the local nightlife scene.
This beach club is a piece of heaven in Batumi! Everything is beautiful and enjoyable here - the beach, the staff, the food and the overall atmosphere. It’s very clean here and the staff are super polite, attentive to the guests and helpful. It really shows how much they care about the place. The entrance fee is 60 GEL and it includes a cozy place with an umbrella, a sun-bed and a towel. There’s a WC and a shower. The personnel speak Georgian, English and Russian. 10000/10 recommend!
Julia O — Google review
I recently visited Iveria Beach with friends, hoping to enjoy a nice breakfast by the sea, but unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. We ordered an omelette, and to our disbelief, it took over an hour to arrive. When it finally did, the omelette was simply inedible—poorly cooked and completely tasteless. It was such a disappointment that we couldn't even finish it. To make matters worse, the bread served alongside was not fresh at all; it was as hard as a rock, making it impossible to eat. The coffee was also a letdown—probably the lowest quality I've ever had, and certainly not worth the high prices they charge. While the beach atmosphere was somewhat okay, the terrible breakfast experience completely ruined our visit. Most of all, it ruined our mood, turning what should have been a relaxing start to the day into a frustrating ordeal. I cannot recommend Iveria Beach to anyone, especially if you're planning to eat there. Save your time, money, and appetite—there are much better places to go.

Imo the best beach club in Batum. We were there for only 2 days and we decided to spend both days at Iveria Beach. The beach was rocky as everywhere else. The sea was more still. The price was 60 laris for one sunbed and towel. The service was good. We ate lunch there, the food was really good. My husband liked his Negroni. The prices were probably a bit higher but it was worth it imo.

I have never felt this embarrassed in my life. I come to this place every year, but this time there was a party in the evening, and I was alone and wanted very much to attend this party. I took a table for four people because I wanted to charge my phone and there was no socket anywhere else. I ordered food and drinks, but the staff were looking at me in a very uncomfortable way, as if I was committing a crime just for being alone. The waitress stood in front of me and looked at me in a hostile way. When I wanted to order a drink, she said to me, “Do you intend to stay here?” I told her, “Yes, I want to attend the party. Is there a problem?” She kept looking at me as if she wanted me to leave (even though most of the tables were empty). She didn’t even suggest that I move somewhere else — she was just annoyed by my presence. I told her to cancel my drink order and give me the bill. I will go. I paid the bill and left. The matter really upset me. I love this place and no one who decides to come to a place alone should be treated in this bad way.

A hidden gem for real! I wanted to have chocolate in the morning and most places are closed before 9AM. this place opens at 8am so i went and was not disappointed at all! The guy who works there is so nice, he made my milkshake with a lot of love he even explained how he did it and what kind of chocolate he use. He told me more about the place and that it’s family owned. He even gave you a paper and colors to color while you’re waiting for your order. The vibes are so nice and then drink is delicious !! 🤤🤤 So nice !!

This place is super cozy, and the music is good. The coffee was delicious and looked great. The French toast was really yummy, and I asked for extra jam. The waiter is the best part; he's super polite, speaks English, and is really helpful and cheerful.

🌟 Chocolatte Coffee Room – Batumi Old Town 1. Perfect Location This cozy café is right in the heart of Batumi’s Old Town, surrounded by beautiful historic buildings and just steps away from all the main attractions. The street itself is charming and peaceful—great for a relaxing walk before or after your coffee. 2. Warm and Creative Atmosphere Inside, the vibe is very homey and welcoming. The walls are decorated with drawings made by guests, and the café even provides colored pencils so you can add your own art. It feels like a place where everyone is part of the story. 3. Friendly Staff The team here is incredibly kind and attentive. They greet you with a smile and are always happy to help or chat. You feel like a guest in someone’s home, not just a customer. 4. Excellent Coffee The coffee is rich, smooth, and made with care. Whether you prefer espresso, cappuccino, or something sweet, they know how to make it just right. 5. Amazing Syrniki (Cheese Pancakes) These are a must-try! The portion size is generous, the taste is fantastic, and the presentation is beautiful. They come with fresh fruits and berries on the plate, making it both delicious and Instagram-worthy. 6. Why You Should Visit If you want a place that’s tasty, soulful, and beautiful—this is it. Great for breakfast, a coffee break, or just relaxing with friends. Highly recommended for locals and tourists alike.

We had breakfast in this cute little spot in old Batumi with my family and all of the meals were absolutely delicious from the special waffles with fruits and chocolate to pancakes and omelette but the star of this spot was without doubt the Arthur. He was very cheerful and he does his job passionately lovely place overall.

This is by far one of the best places I’ve been to for coffee and desserts! Coming from Dubai where café culture is huge, I was so impressed with how cute, aesthetic, and meaningful this spot was. I visited with my family, and for the first time in a long while, we sat together drawing things that connected us—it turned into such a memorable experience. The food was incredible—the pancakes were fluffy and out of this world, the waffles with fruits were delicious, and the coffee was rich and foamy. What made it even more special was the owner, Arthur, who warmly shared his life experiences and teachings with us. It’s rare to find a place where you not only enjoy food but also connect with the heart behind the business. The café itself is full of charm, with handmade details, cozy interiors, and shelves filled with drawings left behind by past visitors. It’s such a beautiful way of keeping memories alive. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for more than just coffee and desserts—it’s a place to pause, connect, and experience the quiet beauty of life.

The apple pancakes taste like HEAVEN😭 such a wholesome, unique place, you can feel that it has a soul! The owner tries to take care of the customers in a very best way, he even surprised us with some paper and pencil to make some drawings. Ah and look at this crochet clothing for the tea pot, how sweet is this?! Definitely must go if you’re in Batumi:)

Asian fusion restaurant
Clouds Bar and Restaurant is a top class restaurant situated in the Radisson Blu Batumi Hotel. With breathtaking views of the Black Sea, the city and the mountains, it's perfect for a romantic meal or to enjoy live music every Friday and Saturday. The service is impeccable, and the food is delicious with European cuisine being its main focus.
The restaurant has a beautiful, cozy atmosphere and the staff is incredibly welcoming and attentive. The sushi, sashimi, appetizers, and cocktails were all amazing. This is by far the best dining experience I’ve had in Batumi — especially since Asian food is my favorite. We’ll definitely be coming back.Special thank you to Shota for the excellent service and to Alexander for the delicious cocktails .

Came here for a celebratory moment with my partner. The service was incredible with attention to detail to everything. I really enjoyed the music accompanying our food. Speaking of food: it was delicious and I would come here again. Although miso was a bit salty and there was too much cream cheese in sushi. But perhaps it’s a matter of personal taste. Thank you for having us!
Anastasiya K — Google review
Uninspiring and mediocre for the price tag and for the location. Sad because the view of Batumi is really wonderful! The edamame was over steamed and the sushi did not taste fresh. A little bit more effort in presentation would go a long way. Service and location were perfect.

Very nice views and good food (apart from yellow tail sashimi and octopus) I have rated this place 3 stars as our yellow tail sashimi which was 85 lari (most expensive sashimi) was not fresh, i was sick after the same evening and my stomach still not well (will have to check it with doctors after I’m back from this holiday), so we sent it back and the staff and chef tried to convince us otherwise by questioning us what was wrong with it instead of just taking it to the chef directly for him to try. Also which was quite shocking I must say is chef sending yellow tail to us again to try without the sauce to point out we were wrong? I live in London and been to Japan, had yellow tail in many places their yellow tail was not fresh and attitude was not correct. Also their octopus is very chewy and we did not touch that, no one asked us what was wrong with it. This was out dinner and after we got back home with my husband I was sick, I did have a tea and shisha in another place after this dinner but I do think it was due to this dinner as I smoke shisha regularly. Bottom line is: - good cooked dishes like chicken, amazing dessert - good views - Stay away from raw sea food and the should be okay..

Went there for the view. Watched the sunset which was amazing. The drinks were wonderful but the food was only okay. You pay for the location and view. The staff in the restaurant were lovely! Got service mainly by Tatia who was sweet and attentive. Depending on what you are coming for the place is recommended.

We had a really good experience at Umami. The sushi was surprisingly excellent, probably the best I’ve had so far , and very fairly priced. 8 pieces cost around 40 GEL (13€), and the quality was easily above what you’d get in Europe for the same price. We also had ramen, a bowl, desserts, and drinks. The mousse au chocolat was around 20 GEL, cocktails about 16 GEL, all reasonable prices, especially considering the portion sizes and overall quality. The restaurant itself is nicely located with a great view over the city. Service was smooth, the place was clean, and the atmosphere relaxed with good music. Altogether we paid 310 GEL (100€) for two people, including 24 sushi pieces, mains, desserts, and drinks. For what we got, that’s a very fair price. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re in town.

We’ve been to many restaurants across Georgia with my wife, but this one truly stands out. While the design, view, and music were all great — what impressed us the most was the food. The menu variety and the quality of ingredients were unbelievably good. I’ve had Asian cuisine in many countries around the world, from professional, high-end kitchens — and Umami easily makes it into my top 3. Honestly, it might even be the best Asian dining experience I’ve ever had. The staff were professional, friendly, and fluent in English, which made the service feel very smooth and welcoming. Despite having limited time, we returned for a second visit just for my wife’s birthday. In one word: we were amazed. Everything was simply outstanding.

Gardens
Batumi Botanical Garden, established in 1912, is a vast expanse of greenery that offers guided tours showcasing its diverse subtropical plant collections. With over 5,000 varieties of flora from around the globe, it boasts an impressive array of Asian trees, South American flowers, bamboo forests, evergreen gardens and titanium trees. Nestled within the beautiful Mtsvane Kontskhi area, visitors can bask in the sun or take a refreshing swim.
It's a beautiful garden. It's better to go early in the morning. It will be harder to leave. You can walk for hours and admire the beauty of Japanese trees. There are a lot of people and Arabs. Only 1 cafe with huge prices. Take food with you. There is an exit to the beach. The beach is great but there are no changing rooms and toilets. The toilets in the garden are terrible.
Artem P — Google review
Incredible botanical garden. You could spend an afternoon exploring it. Well worth the time and money. Well kept, clean, and beautiful. Very large. Expect to use the bus service within the park. There is also a fee to enter the park and a separate fee for the bus service within the park. Costs more for foreigners, of course (one of the worst parts of Georgia is the foreigner fee in so many places).
Tom G — Google review
A wonderful place to walk in the lap of nature. Tickets are priced at 20 GEL, which is a little steep. And if you need an electric vehicle inside, you'll have to end up paying even more. Plenty of photo spots along with some great views of the Black Sea. There's also an amazing zipline for those seeking a little adrenaline rush, but again it's a little pricey at 70 GEL. Be prepared to walk a lot, so wear comfortable shoes.
Puneet B — Google review
We visited the garden in October. The view is very beautiful and the air is fresh with green and flowers smell. We went by bus 10. It is hard to go through all the garden as it has different elevations which make it difficult. Also, there are electrical cars too.
Ghada E — Google review
Amazing park with beautiful sea views♥️ There is an electrical bus that can take you one way through the park with an extra fee of 10 gel, takes like 15 minutes ride Pay attention that most of the park has uphill paths, we are with a baby stroller so it was a bit challenging so we took the bus and then it was nice

It felt like heaven on earth! I highly recommend visiting this place. It’s huge-you can’t explore the entire area in one visit. You can either walk and enjoy a small part of the garden each time, or take one of the small buses they provide for a quicker tour. The garden is incredibly beautiful and offers stunning views of the Black Sea. The entrance tickets are very affordable. However, the restrooms were quite dirty, and the staff didn’t seem very professional.
Ashkan F — Google review
The garden is very beautiful with a great variety of plants. There are many nice spots for taking photos and relaxing while enjoying the garden atmosphere. The garden has many steep hills, so walking can be hard. It’s better to take the internal bus to enjoy the garden and exit from the other side at the bus station. There are parking spaces, but they are very difficult. It’s better to go by Bolt. The weather was sunny, but there are many shaded areas too. The zipline is a very nice experience — a bit scary at first, but then really fun! I recommend bringing some cash, light snacks, and water so you can sit and enjoy the place.
Kholoud A — Google review
A stunningly beautiful botanic garden with collections of plants and trees from all over the world. With views along the coastline, rolling hills covered in lush vegetation and plenty of places to sit and relax in the shade, it's the perfect place to get away from the bustle of the beaches.

Seafood market

Farmers Markets
The Fish Market in Batumi, Georgia is a must-visit for seafood enthusiasts. Located at the main port on the Black Sea, it offers an array of super fresh fish and seafood, both locally caught and imported. Visitors can purchase their choice of fish and have it cooked at nearby restaurants or take it home to prepare themselves. The market also provides services to clean and gut the purchased seafood for a fee.
Fresh Catch & Flavorful Plates! If you love seafood, this is the place to be! The fish market offers a wide variety of fresh fish, from local catches to imported specialties, all neatly displayed and incredibly clean. Prices are fair, and the staff is helpful if you’re not sure what to choose. Even better, you can pick your fish right there and have it cooked on the spot in their adjoining restaurant. The dishes were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection — juicy, tender, and full of flavor. We tried the grilled sea bass and fried calamari, and both were absolutely delicious. The seating area is cozy and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a fresh, flavorful meal. Whether you're buying to cook at home or staying for a meal, this spot delivers on quality and taste. Highly recommend for seafood lovers!
Tam — Google review
Amazingly fresh seafood! You have a wide selection to choose from and the best part is the many restaurants around that are ready to cook your fish according to your taste and serve it with any other type of food you order from the menu.
Wanderfly T — Google review
What's great: There's plenty of fresh fish. You can choose your fish, they clean it for 20 lari, and you can have it prepared for 6 lari per kg in the surrounding restaurants. The taste is great, hence the 4 stars. What's negative: They try to cheat you wherever they can. The vendor sells the fish with the wrong weight and at a significantly inflated price. I only noticed this after paying, when I walked behind the counter to the scales. Maybe not all vendors are like this, but ours was. So my advice: It's best to order directly in the restaurant according to the menu with a fixed price – the fish is just as fresh. Or: Be sure to check the weight on the scales yourself. The vendors don't like that, and we now understand why. Furthermore: If there's no price tag, don't buy it. Stories like that one fish is from the Black Sea and therefore costs more while the others are from a fish farm are all part of the cheat.
Martin B — Google review
A fun place for dinner. You can buy fish and seafood from the market and take it to any of the restaurants for them to prepare for you for a cover charge or you can just order the same seafood from a restaurant. The price will be about the same either way. Other than the mini lobsters and shrimp (not from the Black Sea), most of the fish is local and very fresh. Try the Black Sea oysters. They are local and one of two places where I’ve seen oysters on the relatively warm black sea. They cost 3 GEL per oyster and totally worth it!
Anne G — Google review
We visited it as a group of 20 people. We have chosen couple of types sea producs and asked the restaurant staff to prepare in different ways. All was very tasty and well- served. We really enjoyed. The prices are very effordable.

Batumi Fish Market was a wonderful experience. The fish and seafood were very tasty, and the prices were quite affordable. You can choose what you want and have it cooked at one of the nearby spots — we truly enjoyed it. The only small thing to mention is that the cleanliness of the area could be better, but overall the impression was positive and the flavors were unforgettable. If you’re in Batumi, it’s definitely worth a visit.
Armen Z — Google review
Such a fun and unique experience! You can walk around the market, choose your favorite fresh fish from the local stalls, and then take it to one of the nearby restaurants where they’ll cook it for you — grilled, fried, or however you like. It’s a great way to enjoy truly fresh seafood and experience the local vibe at the same time. The atmosphere is lively, the prices are fair, and the food tastes amazing. Definitely a must-try when you’re in Batumi!
Vahid ( — Google review
An excellent market with a very good and wide assortment of products. We bought red caviar, various seafood, and fish. Everything was fresh and tasty. The prices are reasonable, and in most cases the sellers have similar prices, so there are no issues with long lines. There are both imported and local products available. Later, we had these items cooked for us in a nearby restaurant.

The Argo Cable Car, also known as the Batumi cable car, is a popular tourist attraction in Batumi. It takes visitors to the top of Mount Anuria, offering breathtaking views of the city and the Black Sea. The cable car journey covers a distance of 2.5km and reaches a height of 250 meters. At the mountain's summit, there is a cafe and a square where visitors can admire panoramic scenes of Batumi and the picturesque Black Sea.
We went on a rainy day and it was still great! Beat the crowds and got some nice photos. Very easy to buy tickets. If there is a long line at the counter you can buy tickets online. All cable cars in Georgia have been really nice and worth checking out.
Sarah G — Google review
The Argo Cable Car provides a lovely journey, but I highly recommend planning your visit around sunset to get the best experience. If you go during the middle of the daytime, the view from the top is pleasant but not spectacular. However, if you wait until nighttime, you'll only see the beautiful city lights, and you will completely miss out on the gorgeous photo spots at the peak which require daylight. The best time to go is definitely just before sunset. This allows you to catch the golden hour views, take great photos at the top, and then stay long enough to watch the city transition into a sparkling blanket of lights as darkness falls. A quick note on the other two package tickets/add-ons they offer: as an adult, I did not find them worthwhile or special. I recommend sticking to the standard cable car ticket.
Iqram A — Google review
Definitely worth visiting! The views are amazing, and the price is very reasonable. Sunset is the peak time, so the lines can get a bit long, but they move quite quickly. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.
Austeja M — Google review
The price vs value wasn't there for this cable car compared to others we rode in Georgia, at USD$12.30/pp particularly considering that the view wasn't clear. If the air is really hazy, the view from the top isn't good. The ride is fast and smooth. The bottom operator guy would not let us wait for a car to ride alone (and there was nobody else behind us.) It worked out for us in the end as a hat was left behind in the cable car and one of the other passengers gave it to the top operator guy. When the other people saw us they communicated that it was there. And the hat was very much needed that day! There are clean bathrooms up top, as well as a souvenir shop and a cafe/restaurant and an ice cream stand. We didn't eat up top, so nothing to review on that. The tiny chapel was peaceful, and there was a great breeze just outside the chapel (on the right) by the edge of the trees. Security scolded and stopped multiple tourists sitting on the edge of the circular fountain that looks like a sailboat. There is a swing for photos that was tied (to not move much) that had a net to catch anyone who fell off so they didn't fall down the face of the hill. It was below "ok" in my opinion, and overpriced for the view.
Just M — Google review
The cable car ride was very different. Instead of hoovering over the trees and mountains, this ride is mostly on the city with great views of the port on one side and the mountain on the other. The weather was overcast during our ride, so we enjoyed a lot. Once you reach the top, there are some restaurants, gaming arcade (tickets to be bought at the ground counter). There was also a stand for Minimelts that the kids enjoyed a lot especially their new kiwi flavor. Overall, it was a great experience.
Osayed R — Google review
Though a somewhat pricey activity, the cable car is a fun way to see the city, and the views from the hill are unmatched. On a clear day, you can even see the snow capped peaks of distant mountains, and of course, all of Batumi is visible from up there.
Matthew U — Google review
This is a must when in Batumi.! The cable car costs around 32 lari would take you on a 10 minute journey to the top of a mountain where you will have a breathtaking view awaiting you.! I recommend to go just before sunset so you get to see the city at its best. There’s also a museum, restaurant and a live show at the top so you can spend a nice evening here.!

Fishlandia is a seafood restaurant located next to a fish market, about four kilometers from the school and on the other side of the harbor where cargo ships offload. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views of the sea. The menu includes a variety of seafood dishes such as a seafood platter with rice, fries, and bread, as well as delicious salads with walnut dressing. Customers have praised the delicious sea bass and shrimp dishes.
Very good fish 🐠 restaurant in Batumi. You can buy seafood in fish market and request to cook 🧑‍🍳 it next to door. Everything was great prepared and delicious. Wonderful experience, will come back again

The presentation of the food is unique, very nice way how they put all fish on one dish. Somewhat reasonable prices. It was a very crowded place and noisy, difficult to find a table for large groups (you may need to reserve). The food all arrived cold and I did not enjoy it for that reason.
Shahad A — Google review
The place has good ambiance to sit and relax and have some sea food near the shore but the service was not that great, the food service was delayed maybe due to peak hours and the food that was served was cold, the shrimp was cooked but not cleaned properly. Overall was not satisfied. Would not recommend maybe buy your own fish and ask them to cook, that might be little to extra. Note: the place is little expensive
Aayushi P — Google review
We brought our fish for them to cook and also ordered some side dishes. The food was great and the view was nice, but the lack of service was a major downside. At first, we couldn’t find any staff, then struggled to figure out where to leave the fish, and in the end we waited over half an hour just to get the bill - until I finally went in and paid myself. The food and cooking quality are good, but only if you’re prepared to search for staff and wait indefinitely.

Avoid this place at all costs - total tourist trap! We were completely fooled here. For 6 adults and 2 kids, we ended up paying 1,500 GEL, at least five times more than any other restaurant in the city. We ordered just a mixed fish plate, one additional fish, a few salads, and mussels in cream sauce, and asked for homemade chacha. The waitress said they had run out but would bring us “something good” - that “something” turned out to cost 300 GEL! Later I checked and found it sells for 50 GEL in stores. The food was below average, everything dripping with oil, and their cream sauce was just awful. The kamabala fish was maybe slightly better, but still nothing special. The place was freezing cold and uncomfortable. This was by far the biggest disappointment of all our trips to Georgia over the years. Stay away from this scam!

Had dinner for 6 people. We tried the Khachapuri with mixed cheese and egg, and 2 other dishes, the chicken with garlic sauce (Shkmeruli) and pork with vegetables (Ojakhuri) . We had a bottle of red wine, fresh lemonades and the price for everything was so accessible. The food was readily made (10-15 min tops), very delicious, attentive service and on top of that we had great view at the sea. I would recommend it!

Went there with high hopes to try our first Khachapuri but it turned out undercooked and bland. It's sad that such a fancy restaurant gives such a small portion of butter that too packaged butter cube. Would not recommend if you want to try Khachapuri for the first time to visit here.

The owner of a coffe house suggested us here and he said they do the best Khachapuri. He was right we loved it.

So far the best Khachapuri I’ve had in Georgia. I read from some article the Khachapuri here is the no2 best in the world and it is very good indeed My server Vladi was excellent in terms of service and attitude Highly recommend

What a great spot! From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming and well cared for. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, but what truly made our visit stand out was the service. Irakli, was absolutely fantastic — hands down the best in the place. Warm, professional, and genuinely attentive, he made the entire experience feel special. It’s rare to come across someone who combines such friendliness with flawless service. Thanks to Irakli, we had a wonderful time and left already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!

The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere. Excellent staff. But the main dish, Khachapuri, was not good at all, the kebab was completely burnt. I can say with confidence that it was one of the lowest quality restaurants in Batumi.

With its striking red chairs and minimalist decor, this charming café invites you to unwind with friends over refreshing drinks like Aperol spritz or sangria. Located near Europe Square and sharing space with the Contemporary Art Space, Conte Bar not only serves as a cozy spot to relax but also as a cultural venue that hosts art exhibitions, film screenings, and engaging discussions on social issues.
This is not my first time in Batumi. But I swear.... best place to drink few glasses of wine and no one will take too much of you like in other places here ;) I Love this place. Next time in Batumi, we will get back here. Love you Conte @Batumi

A cool bar with nice staff. They were very friendly and we had great time drinking on a street corner. Will go there again when I have the chance to visit Batumi again and I don't do this normally.

Good menu, shame that they didn’t have half of the items. Great location and ambiance though. Loved the street and an arty bar like that is just a good addition. If you’re around, pay a visit.

One of the few bars in Batumi that enjoy spending time in. It’s a small place with lively and creative interior, tables outside, nice music especially in the weekends. Perfect for small group of friends who would enjoy a few drinks over friendly conversations. WC and Wifi available. Right in the middle of the city.

Chicken meat was dry in cesar salad but hey the sauce and rest was delicious

Good bar. I would recommend it to all, atmosphere and music are chill. Unfortunately they work only until 00h.

Really nice place. They have a great coffee. Also the Georgian breakfast is worth to try.

Nice bar, but you’re lucky if you get your order right. We ordered 3 times and each time, something was wrong with it. Otherwise, it has a lot of cocktails and a pretty view. The music is cool too!
