Batumi Boulevard is a lively green space along the Black Sea, offering a variety of attractions. Visitors can enjoy musical fountains, exercise paths, and numerous cafes and bars such as GUESTS Gastrobar, Chacha Time, and The Wall Street Cafe & Lounge. Additionally, the Nobel Brothers Technological Museum provides insight into Batumi's history as a major trading port. This museum showcases the impact of the Nobel brothers on the region and features artifacts from the era.
We visited there in the dark. The street is very beautiful. The tall buildings are lit up in a very impressive way. The fountain is stunning.

Very beautiful and peaceful place. Perfect for walking. The boulevard is full of people enjoying their time, playing, walking, biking, etc. Very clean and well maintained, the greenery is beautiful and the playgrounds are nice. The seaside is nice and most of the attractions are within the boulevard or nearby.

This is without a doubt the heart of the city. It's a beautiful and huge wooded park that stretches for 7 kilometers along the Black Sea coast. It is the perfect place to stroll at any time of day, whether for walking, running, or renting a bike. It's clearly a meeting point for locals and tourists, always full of life. The place is very well-maintained, with various modern sculptures, cafes, and fountains. An essential and relaxing walk.

Batumi Boulevard Park is one of the most beautiful parks in the city, stretching along the Black Sea coast. Originally established in 1881, it features palm trees, sculptures, bike paths, cafes, and plenty of spots to relax — making it a favorite among both locals and visitors. Personally, I really enjoy spending time here, especially in the evenings. The musical fountain show adds a special charm and makes the atmosphere even more enjoyable. It's a perfect place for a peaceful walk, watching the sunset, or simply unwinding by the sea.
Birsen Y — Google review
A beautiful place for long walks or a jog (5km...) along the beachfront or the tree-lined paths alongside. Clean and picturesque with the varied architecture in the background. Really nice.

What a thriving place... Mornings and evenings are so gorgeous. There are cycling track, walking lane and roraing black sea near both. There are multipal food shacks and some good entertainment in the evening. Eveningn is very vibrant here.

The first place I went after checking in to my hostel. 8 kms of beauty. Right near the beach. Very lively. It's a good idea to rent a city bike and take tour around. It's also connected to the 6 may park. There is a little japanese garden in there. Gelato shops, bars, coffee places and the best doggies in the world are all summoned in this park 🫠

Beautiful square with unique architecture. It's full of small shops and has a vibrant atmosphere. Plenty of small shops and restaurants around the area too. I recommend going around the golden hour, as light beautifully reflects off the buildings.

Europe Square is a wonderful place to visit. The square features beautiful architecture inspired by different countries across Europe, giving it a unique and charming atmosphere. Each building represents a distinct European style, making it feel like a small tour around the continent in one spot. It’s clean, lively, and great for walking around, taking photos, or just relaxing and enjoying the surroundings
Ramez S — Google review
Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Batumi—go in the early evening to catch the square at its best: pleasant light, good café vibe, and the mix of old and new architecture. Great for a stroll, a coffee, some photos, or simply soaking in the local vibe.
Denis — Google review
This square is the true heart of the old town and one of the most beautiful places in the city. It is surrounded by buildings with beautiful, well-preserved facades in classic European architecture. The main highlight is the imposing Statue of Medea, which stands in the center holding the Golden Fleece. It's a very popular meeting point, featuring a fun fountain that springs directly from the ground. Additionally, it's common to find small craft fairs selling local souvenirs. It is a perfect place to stroll and take photos. It is free to visit.
Luana B — Google review
Very beautiful area in the heart of Batumi’s city center, filled with shops, restaurants and cafes. It has a monument with a statue of Medea, which holds a symbol of the glory and cultural development of old Colchis - the golden fleece. The area is surrounded by very beautiful buildings with lovely European architecture. There’s a bazaar as well where locals showcase all kinds of products.
Abdulrahman Q — Google review
A beautiful square. From the name itself Europe square no doubt it is like you were in one of the city in Europe. Cafes, restaurants, fast foods are just around the corner. It is beautifully constructed with a large square meter. Definitely, should be one of your list if you’re coming in Batumi.
Mike — Google review
Europe Square in Batumi is one of the city’s most elegant spots. Surrounded by beautiful architecture that reflects Batumi’s 19th-century charm, the square is a symbol of Georgia’s connection to Europe. At its center stands the striking statue of Medea holding the Golden Fleece, a reference to the ancient Greek myth in which Jason and the Argonauts traveled to Colchis (today’s western Georgia) to retrieve it. It’s a perfect place to relax, take photos, and feel the mix of history, culture, and modern life that defines Batumi.

Batumi Piazza Square is a must-see destination near the Black Sea, boasting an Italian-style ambiance with surrounding buildings featuring European architecture. This bustling square is home to numerous hotels, restaurants, and cafes, making it one of the liveliest spots in Georgia. At its center lies Europe's largest figurative marble mosaic, covering an impressive 106 square meters.
At night there is a lot of fun for everybody even for my kids. The music the action the activity was amazing. The atmosphere was wonderful. Great place to be. Don't miss such place. The Arab street is close to it also. Be careful it's not easy to bark in such area is a taxi which is much much better than your own car, which will save you time and headach.
Dr. E — Google review
It is much smaller than I expected and was not very busy at all, albeit being a mid morning on a Friday. It probably is much busier in the evenings and late afternoon. Some beautiful architecture around. There is live music in the evenings which should be nice.
Vincent O — Google review
Wonderful square with a great atmosphere. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and dessert spots around. They often show football games on a big outdoor screen — perfect place to hang out with friends
Ramez S — Google review
This square is a charming place that looks like a piece of Italy in Batumi. The architecture of the surrounding buildings is all in the Venetian style, which makes the atmosphere very beautiful. The square is full of cafes and restaurants, making it a great place to sit and relax. There is also a tall tower with a musical clock. It is a very pleasant spot to visit, especially at night, when it's livelier and there is often live music. Entry to the square is free, and the cafes accept card payments.
Luana B — Google review
Somehow atmosphere in this square full cafes make this place is cold and warmless. Even live music unknown artist with heavy backtape can't save. Can go therefor for check spot, but not more. Maybe if you need perfect photos, rent wedding dress and make one. This place have nice architecture and be the place where good photographer can uplift your mode.
Janis O — Google review
It’s a nice area, especially at night. Restaurants and cafés are all around, and you can even get a massage. We also enjoyed the live music.”
SAJJAD H — Google review
The place looks like one of the city in Europe. The night lights added to its charm and making the square like a Disneyland. More restaurants and coffee shops around but I find it a bit expensive. But the pace itself is really beautiful.

A must-go place in Batumi. But don’t come here with high hopes, it’s a solid place for sitting and enjoying the music, architecture and the food. And I recommend you to come here in the evening.

The Ali & Nino Statue is a captivating sculpture located in Batumi, Georgia. This 8-meter-tall artwork, created by Georgian sculptor Tamara Kvesitadze, depicts the intertwined figures of Ali and Nino. The sculpture represents the love story between a Muslim man from Azerbaijan and a Christian Georgian princess during the early 20th century.
The Ali & Nino statue is a very romantic place to visit. The story behind it adds a lot of meaning, and watching the figures move is really beautiful. The statue itself is smaller than it looks in photos or videos, but it’s still impressive and full of charm. It’s lovely to see both during the day and at night — the lights at night make it even more special. Definitely worth a stop when you’re in Batumi.
Ramez S — Google review
The moving statue of Ali and Nino is a must-see landmark solely because it is iconic in Batumi—it's essential for your photos while visiting the city! Other than its visual significance, there is nothing special about the viewing experience. Crowd Warning & Tips: This area is heavily crowded for most of the day and evening. Your best bet for a better view with fewer people is early in the day (daytime is much less crowded) or waiting until after 10 PM. If you go between those times, be prepared for a massive crowd around the statue.
Iqram A — Google review
A Unique Landmark with a Memorable Vibe The Ali and Nino statue is a must-see while in Batumi — its slow, graceful motion tells a powerful story and adds a poetic feel to the waterfront. While the sculpture appears larger in photos, it’s still quite captivating in person and beautifully crafted. The area around the statue is lively, though it can get a bit crowded with people offering flowers or asking for money, which slightly took away from the calmness of the experience. That said, renting a nearby boat for 150 GEL was a great choice. It gave us a peaceful escape and a stunning view of the coastline from the sea, adding something special to the visit.
Kasra S — Google review
The statue might look huge from photos but it is of normal size. the crowd around is minimal. The magic happens when the two statues meet and connect. There is a long boardwalk and lot of rides that is on offer including boat rides, Jet ski,Scooters and small boats
Ramesh N — Google review
What a wonderful place in the Batumi Boulevard. Situated beside the beach , this moving statue is one of the major attractions in the park . Also , whenever you come here , do google the story behind it . The nightview with all the lights makes it an even more stunning place .
Pranoy P — Google review
One of a kind master piece. The statue is moving as they’re becoming one as a symbol of love despite of big differences. With a beautiful backdrop of the Ferris wheel.
Mike — Google review
One question: why was such a beautiful sculpture placed in such a terrible spot? It’s a location with huge tourist crowds, corn vendors, and loud music from all the stalls. You can’t get close to the sculpture, the horizon is literally cluttered. There’s no intimacy at all.
Yule — Google review
Very beautiful touristic attraction! The movement of both statues toward each other was definitely worth seeing.

The Argo Cable Car, also known as the Batumi cable car, is a popular tourist attraction in Batumi. It takes visitors to the top of Mount Anuria, offering breathtaking views of the city and the Black Sea. The cable car journey covers a distance of 2.5km and reaches a height of 250 meters. At the mountain's summit, there is a cafe and a square where visitors can admire panoramic scenes of Batumi and the picturesque Black Sea.
We went on a rainy day and it was still great! Beat the crowds and got some nice photos. Very easy to buy tickets. If there is a long line at the counter you can buy tickets online. All cable cars in Georgia have been really nice and worth checking out.
Sarah G — Google review
The Argo Cable Car provides a lovely journey, but I highly recommend planning your visit around sunset to get the best experience. If you go during the middle of the daytime, the view from the top is pleasant but not spectacular. However, if you wait until nighttime, you'll only see the beautiful city lights, and you will completely miss out on the gorgeous photo spots at the peak which require daylight. The best time to go is definitely just before sunset. This allows you to catch the golden hour views, take great photos at the top, and then stay long enough to watch the city transition into a sparkling blanket of lights as darkness falls. A quick note on the other two package tickets/add-ons they offer: as an adult, I did not find them worthwhile or special. I recommend sticking to the standard cable car ticket.
Iqram A — Google review
Definitely worth visiting! The views are amazing, and the price is very reasonable. Sunset is the peak time, so the lines can get a bit long, but they move quite quickly. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.
Austeja M — Google review
The price vs value wasn't there for this cable car compared to others we rode in Georgia, at USD$12.30/pp particularly considering that the view wasn't clear. If the air is really hazy, the view from the top isn't good. The ride is fast and smooth. The bottom operator guy would not let us wait for a car to ride alone (and there was nobody else behind us.) It worked out for us in the end as a hat was left behind in the cable car and one of the other passengers gave it to the top operator guy. When the other people saw us they communicated that it was there. And the hat was very much needed that day! There are clean bathrooms up top, as well as a souvenir shop and a cafe/restaurant and an ice cream stand. We didn't eat up top, so nothing to review on that. The tiny chapel was peaceful, and there was a great breeze just outside the chapel (on the right) by the edge of the trees. Security scolded and stopped multiple tourists sitting on the edge of the circular fountain that looks like a sailboat. There is a swing for photos that was tied (to not move much) that had a net to catch anyone who fell off so they didn't fall down the face of the hill. It was below "ok" in my opinion, and overpriced for the view.
Just M — Google review
The cable car ride was very different. Instead of hoovering over the trees and mountains, this ride is mostly on the city with great views of the port on one side and the mountain on the other. The weather was overcast during our ride, so we enjoyed a lot. Once you reach the top, there are some restaurants, gaming arcade (tickets to be bought at the ground counter). There was also a stand for Minimelts that the kids enjoyed a lot especially their new kiwi flavor. Overall, it was a great experience.
Osayed R — Google review
Though a somewhat pricey activity, the cable car is a fun way to see the city, and the views from the hill are unmatched. On a clear day, you can even see the snow capped peaks of distant mountains, and of course, all of Batumi is visible from up there.
Matthew U — Google review
This is a must when in Batumi.! The cable car costs around 32 lari would take you on a 10 minute journey to the top of a mountain where you will have a breathtaking view awaiting you.! I recommend to go just before sunset so you get to see the city at its best. There’s also a museum, restaurant and a live show at the top so you can spend a nice evening here.!
Dr M — Google review
The Argo Cable Car in Batumi, Georgia, is a must-do experience for any visitor. As you ascend, you’re treated to stunning panoramic views of the vibrant cityscape, the serene Black Sea, and the majestic surrounding mountains. The ride is smooth and peaceful, offering a unique perspective of Batumi’s charm from above. At the top, you’ll find a viewing platform perfect for photos, a café to relax in, and even a small chapel. Whether you’re a nature lover, photographer, or just seeking a memorable moment, the Argo Cable Car delivers a truly breathtaking experience.

The Batumi Dolphinarium is a popular marine animal park in Batumi, known for its regular dolphin shows and swim-with-dolphin experiences. It's a perfect spot for families looking for fun activities with children. The dolphinarium offers captivating and acrobatic shows performed by highly trained dolphins, as well as entertaining seal shows. Visitors can also enjoy the special experience of swimming with dolphins and taking close photos with these amazing animals.
Really great show, the trainers treat the dolphins like their own children, very affectionate. The dolphins are absolutely incredible! Don't let the rudeness of the security staff discourage you, they aren't who you are paying to see 😊
Luc T — Google review
First of all, a big thank you to all the dolphin trainers for their beautiful spirit. The best experience is to buy tickets through the website. It's very easy and gives you the opportunity to buy the first seats. I wish the interaction with the audience was a little more. It's a good experience for the family, especially for children.
Waleed A — Google review
We were late by around like 10 minutes from the time of the show but it was right when the show started, we came for out baby who at the time was around 5 months old and she seemed to enjoy the show , even for us the adults it was very entertaining, there were about 10 or so dolphins from small to huge ones they splashed water danced played with objects it was a blast, The place was completely full and it was a week day which is surprising. Great show would come again.
Alex B — Google review
Very talented dolphins with skilled and loving trainers with their trainees. Lot of acrobatic show ( with balls, circles) even with georgian dolphin dancing.😱 Take seriously and avoid splashing zone. Highly recommended.
Krisztina O — Google review
If you are in Batumi, this place and show is must watch for you and your kids. Yours kids would love the show. The tickets can be bought online. I recommend you not to buy the front seats in the middle portion of the dolphinarium as dolphins splash water on the viewers as an act to cheer people up. In this act your clothes will entirely get wet. The acts of dolphins are excellent and well choreographed. I would recommend you to surely pay a vist to this place.
Deepak C — Google review
Batumi Dolphinarium is a fun and entertaining place to visit, not just for kids but for adults as well. The dolphin show is very well organized, with smart and talented dolphins performing amazing tricks. The trainers are skilled and clearly care for the animals, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is friendly and lively, and the whole event is full of positive energy. Gonio-Apsaros Fortress, located in what was once Colchis, is a remarkable Roman fortification with a rich history tied to legends like Jason and the Argonauts. This unique example of Roman Byzantine military architecture features a rectangular layout with imposing high stone walls encompassing an area of 47,000 square meters and is adorned with 18 towers.
It’s an interesting place! There’s an archaeological site, so you can see people actually digging there. There isn’t a lot to see, but the atmosphere is really nice and worth a quick visit. Tickets are cheap — around 10 GEL.

Spectacular. Magical place. With old walls, extremely green grass and forested hills in the back you get a sensational experience. The whole area is quite big. Takes about 30-40 minutes to walk throught it.
Kamil — Google review
We were here 7 years ago and today we came back here with our children. My daughter studied the history of the Russian Empire at the English school and when we arrived in Batumi we went to show her Gonio. This is a unique place that everyone should visit. The territory is not big, but it has so much history. There is a very beautiful museum on the premises that can describe the history in detail. Here you can buy souvenirs, take a walk and there is a toilet. This year we also saw roses blooming - here is our own alley of different roses. There is a separate house in which clothes and tools of those times are presented. Admission is free for locals and 10 GEL for guests.

Gonio Fortress is a lovely historical site worth visiting for anyone interested in history and ancient architecture. The fortress offers a glimpse into the past with its well-preserved ruins and small onsite museum displaying historical artifacts. It’s a pleasant place to walk through and explore. The staff at the entrance were friendly and welcoming, and the facilities, including the restrooms, were clean and well-maintained.

The fortress in Gonio is probably not the most famous in the world, but it is very well preserved and visited. Just think, it is already two thousand years old! A ticket costs only 10 GEL. You can walk right along the preserved walls of the fortress. There is an archaeological museum, a souvenir shop, and the tomb of one of Christ's apostles, Matthias, on the grounds.
Drew E — Google review
Gonio Fortress is a cool ancient spot near Batumi with sturdy stone walls and pretty green areas. The statues and ruins, plus the possible Saint Matthias tomb, make it historically fun. I enjoyed the peaceful vibe and exploring!
Radhulakshmi P — Google review
Gonio Fortress is a fascinating historical site full of stories and charm. The ancient walls, towers, and peaceful garden inside make it a great place to walk around and imagine life centuries ago. The site is well-kept and surrounded by beautiful nature, with views of the mountains and the sea nearby. A must-visit if you’re in Batumi and love history or quiet, atmospheric places!
Rima B — Google review
Gonio, previously called Apsarus or Apsaros, is a Roman fortification 15 km south of Batumi, at the mouth of the Chorokhi river. Its name was connected with the myth of Medea and her brother Absyrtus. In the 2nd century AD it was a well-fortified Roman city within Colchis. The town was also known for its theatre and hippodrome. It later came under Byzantine influence. In addition, there was a short-lived Genoese trade factory at the site. In 1547, Gonio was taken by the Ottoman Empire, who held it until 1878, when, via the San-Stefano Treaty, Adjara became part of the Russian Empire. The grave of Saint Matthias, one of the twelve apostles, is believed to be inside the Gonio fortress. The location of the fortress, surrounded by lash green mountains, is amazingly beautiful and very picturesque.

The captivating Dancing Fountains in Batumi offer a mesmerizing display of light, music, and water. The graceful streams of water twist and soar to the accompaniment of colorful lights and famous music, creating a spellbinding experience for visitors. Situated in central Batumi, these fountains provide a harmonious blend of natural beauty and modernity.
We absolutely love the Dancing Fountains! It has benches all around , piped music which plays in time to the fountains & even a couple of drinking fountains. In the summer it's a place to sit and watch the world go by, play in the fountains & just chill. In the evening the fountains light up. There are lots of street vendors here selling snacks & souvenirs. It's also a degree or 2 cooler here as you come away from the beach.

September 2025 1. Beautiful Show Every Evening 🌆 The dancing fountains light up every night with music and colorful lights. It’s a free show that lasts around 20–30 minutes and feels magical, especially after sunset. 2. Great Location by the Bridge 🌉 They are right next to Beqa Betidze Bridge, easy to find and close to the city center. You can walk here from the boulevard or take a short taxi ride. 3. Family-Friendly Spot 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Kids love the lights and music. There’s space to sit or stand, and it’s safe for families. Many people bring snacks or take photos. 4. Music and Lights Together 🎶💡 The fountains move with the rhythm of the music. Sometimes it’s classical, sometimes modern. The lights change colors and make the water dance. 5. Best Time to Visit 🌙 Come after 8 PM when it’s dark enough to enjoy the full effect. Weekends are more crowded, but weekdays are quieter. 6. Clean and Well-Maintained 🧼 The area is clean, with trash bins and benches nearby. Local staff keep it tidy and working well. 7. Good for Photos and Videos 📸 If you like taking pictures, this is a great place. The reflections on the water and the bridge in the background look amazing. 8. No Entry Fee 💸 It’s completely free. You don’t need a ticket or reservation. Just come and enjoy. 9. Nearby Cafes and Shops ☕🛍️ After the show, you can walk to nearby cafes or grab a drink. There are small shops around too. 10. A Must-See in Batumi ✅ If you’re visiting Batumi, don’t miss this. It’s one of the city’s highlights and perfect for relaxing after a busy day.

Quite good as far as dancing fountains go. The architects of the show did well to match the music. Some nice classic and interesting music pieces played, not just standard pop. I don’t have kids, but the kids around seemed to love it. Good option for families. Crowds were not overwhelming. Felt relaxing.

Beautiful and well-kept park in the heart of Batumi. Very clean, with lots of green areas and benches to sit and relax. Great place for an easy walk, hanging out with friends, or just enjoying the view over the city. There's also a small zoo on one side and a nice lake in the middle. This place is in a very quiet, almost rural location. Quiet streets lined with fruit trees, we saw chicken, cats. We even spotted a horse there! The room is spacious and very clean. It is truly the perfect place to stay overnight and catch the early morning flight. The place is perfect for a family with kids. There are a couple of restaurants in walking distance. We enjoyed local food there. Though, I highly recommend to download some translator like Yansex translator app because, English is not really widely spoken by locals:).

A nice, clean park with a small lake, limited benches, and many shady trees to sit under. A favorite with the locals in the evenings and on the weekends to bring the kids and let them play in the grass. There are swan boats available for rent in the lake. One one end is the Dolphinarium and a few meters away is the Batumi Zoo. On the same path there is a small amusement park with several rides. A great place for kids or for adults to sit and relax when it's less crowded. In the early mornings there are many people fishing along the banks of the lake and crazy street dogs jumping in the lake and then chasing each other (and you) up and down the path. If you're in the area it's nice place to visit.

The best place for sunset. Just roaming around and soaking in should be considered as an activity. My husband and I had the best time in Batumi. Although people keep just 1 day for Batumi, we spent another day which was a hit.
Kritika S — Google review
A decent beach, and the water is still relatively warm even in late september. It is rocky unfortunately, and the close proximity to the docks makes the water seem unhygienic. Still a lovely place for a good long walk.
Matthew U — Google review
The beach is very extensive and follows the city's entire coastline, covered entirely by pebbles (rounded stones). In July, the Black Sea water was clean and had a very pleasant temperature, great for swimming. The main highlight is the urbanized boardwalk, part of the Batumi Boulevard, which is wide and modern. It features a dedicated lane for bicycles, separated from the pedestrian walking area, making it very safe and organized. Access to the beach is free.
Luana B — Google review
Marhaba 👋 While Batumi may be renowned for its long, sandy beaches that draw tourists from around the world, the city's lesser-known rocky coastline offers a strikingly different - yet equally captivating - seaside experience. Stretching for miles along the Black Sea, these rugged, pebble-strewn shores provide a dramatic contrast to the typical beach getaway, inviting visitors to explore a more raw, untamed side of Batumi's natural beauty. Unlike the wide, manicured beaches further north, Batumi's rocky coastline is characterized by a series of small coves and inlets, each with its own unique personality. Jagged boulders and smooth, rounded stones line the water's edge, creating a textured, almost lunar-like landscape that begs to be explored. The surf crashes forcefully against these unyielding rocks, producing a soothing, rhythmic soundtrack that instantly transports visitors to a more primal, elemental state of being. For those seeking a more peaceful, contemplative beach experience, Batumi's rocky shores are an absolute revelation. Gone are the crowds, the loud music, and the ubiquitous beach umbrellas - in their place, a serene, almost meditative atmosphere that invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and simply connect with the raw power of nature. Solitary beachgoers can be found scattered across the pebbles, lost in their own thoughts as they gaze out at the horizon. Yet the rocky beaches also offer ample opportunities for adventure and exploration. Adventurous visitors can clamber across the boulders, discovering hidden tide pools and unique marine life in the nooks and crannies. The smooth, wave-worn stones also provide the perfect surface for skipping stones - a beloved local pastime that can keep both children and adults entertained for hours. While Batumi's sandy stretches may offer the quintessential beach vacation experience, it is the city's rugged, rocky coastline that truly speaks to the adventurous spirit. Here, one can disconnect from the stresses of daily life and immerse themselves in the timeless, elemental beauty of the Black Sea shore. For those willing to step off the beaten path, Batumi's rocky beaches offer a profoundly rewarding and unforgettable encounter with the natural world.

The Chacha Tower in Batumi is a unique attraction that celebrates Georgian hospitality and tradition. This 25-meter tall fountain, modeled after Izmir's Clock Tower, was meant to dispense chacha, a traditional Georgian spirit, from its base at scheduled times. Although it lacks the level of detail of the original structure, it offers an observation deck with panoramic views of Batumi's coastline.
Amazing architecture next to the sea, looks like Europe definitely. The whole are is a must go place in Batumi during the sunrise and sunset!

This structure was built in 2012 and is 25 meters high. It is said that chacha comes out of its fountains instead of water. Apparently, nothing like this has happened since 2015.

"Chacha" tower, also known as the Fountain Tower - is located in Batumi, Adjara. The tower is an exact copy of the building that was located in Batumi in the early 20th century. First Chacha tower was built on the seashore more than a hundred years ago. It was rebuilt by the Georgian government in 2012. “Chacha tower” is 25 meters (75ft) high building with an observation platform on top. From here you can see all the coastline of Batumi. Tower is surrounded by four pools with systems that allow the circulation of Chacha. Everybody can come here and taste this famous Georgian drink “Chacha”, it’s free. The fountain does not function every day. Georgian drink "Chacha" is flowed over once in a week for 10-15 minutes.
Kamyab A — Google review
The Fountain Tower, alternatively known as the "Chacha" tower is an identical replica of a structure that was situated in the same location during the early 1900s. The original tower, which was constructed over a century ago on the seashore, underwent reconstruction by the Georgian government in 2012. Standing 25 meters (75ft) tall, the Chacha tower boasts an observation deck at its summit, providing panoramic views of Batumi's coastline. Additionally, the tower is encircled by four pools equipped with Chacha-circulating systems. There used to flow some chacha at specific times but I think it doesn't anymore

The Fish Market in Batumi, Georgia is a must-visit for seafood enthusiasts. Located at the main port on the Black Sea, it offers an array of super fresh fish and seafood, both locally caught and imported. Visitors can purchase their choice of fish and have it cooked at nearby restaurants or take it home to prepare themselves. The market also provides services to clean and gut the purchased seafood for a fee.
Fresh Catch & Flavorful Plates! If you love seafood, this is the place to be! The fish market offers a wide variety of fresh fish, from local catches to imported specialties, all neatly displayed and incredibly clean. Prices are fair, and the staff is helpful if you’re not sure what to choose. Even better, you can pick your fish right there and have it cooked on the spot in their adjoining restaurant. The dishes were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection — juicy, tender, and full of flavor. We tried the grilled sea bass and fried calamari, and both were absolutely delicious. The seating area is cozy and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a fresh, flavorful meal. Whether you're buying to cook at home or staying for a meal, this spot delivers on quality and taste. Highly recommend for seafood lovers!

Amazingly fresh seafood! You have a wide selection to choose from and the best part is the many restaurants around that are ready to cook your fish according to your taste and serve it with any other type of food you order from the menu.
Wanderfly T — Google review
What's great: There's plenty of fresh fish. You can choose your fish, they clean it for 20 lari, and you can have it prepared for 6 lari per kg in the surrounding restaurants. The taste is great, hence the 4 stars. What's negative: They try to cheat you wherever they can. The vendor sells the fish with the wrong weight and at a significantly inflated price. I only noticed this after paying, when I walked behind the counter to the scales. Maybe not all vendors are like this, but ours was. So my advice: It's best to order directly in the restaurant according to the menu with a fixed price – the fish is just as fresh. Or: Be sure to check the weight on the scales yourself. The vendors don't like that, and we now understand why. Furthermore: If there's no price tag, don't buy it. Stories like that one fish is from the Black Sea and therefore costs more while the others are from a fish farm are all part of the cheat.
Martin B — Google review
A fun place for dinner. You can buy fish and seafood from the market and take it to any of the restaurants for them to prepare for you for a cover charge or you can just order the same seafood from a restaurant. The price will be about the same either way. Other than the mini lobsters and shrimp (not from the Black Sea), most of the fish is local and very fresh. Try the Black Sea oysters. They are local and one of two places where I’ve seen oysters on the relatively warm black sea. They cost 3 GEL per oyster and totally worth it!
Anne G — Google review

Batumi Fish Market was a wonderful experience. The fish and seafood were very tasty, and the prices were quite affordable. You can choose what you want and have it cooked at one of the nearby spots — we truly enjoyed it. The only small thing to mention is that the cleanliness of the area could be better, but overall the impression was positive and the flavors were unforgettable. If you’re in Batumi, it’s definitely worth a visit.
Armen Z — Google review
Such a fun and unique experience! You can walk around the market, choose your favorite fresh fish from the local stalls, and then take it to one of the nearby restaurants where they’ll cook it for you — grilled, fried, or however you like. It’s a great way to enjoy truly fresh seafood and experience the local vibe at the same time. The atmosphere is lively, the prices are fair, and the food tastes amazing. Definitely a must-try when you’re in Batumi!
Vahid ( — Google review
An excellent market with a very good and wide assortment of products. We bought red caviar, various seafood, and fish. Everything was fresh and tasty. The prices are reasonable, and in most cases the sellers have similar prices, so there are no issues with long lines. There are both imported and local products available. Later, we had these items cooked for us in a nearby restaurant.

(Translated by Google) A very nice port. A good place for a stroll, where fishermen sit and catch fish. There's a decent view of the city, but the ships are more remarkable. The port building is also decorated with beautiful colorful bas-reliefs with a maritime theme at the entrance. There's plenty to see, including barges, cargo ships, and yachts, but the most interesting thing, of course, is people-watching. Georgians are pleasant and sociable. The mountain view is also pretty good. I recommend it for an evening stroll. There are cats, and the fences have some nice graffiti. Orthodox church
This cathedral, built in 1897, is one of the most beautiful and spiritual temples in the Caucasus. It possesses a unique neo-Gothic style and three spires. The church is now an orthodox temple and attracts visitors with its beautiful stained glass windows.
The Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God stands as the principal cathedral of the Diocese of Batumi and Lazeti. Originally erected as a Roman Catholic Church at the dawn of the 20th century, it was generously funded by the renowned Zubalashvilebi brothers. During the Soviet era, the temple was confiscated by the government and repurposed as an archive, later serving as a high-voltage laboratory. Following Georgia's independence in 1991, the Cathedral was returned to the Georgian Orthodox Church. Constructed as a three-aisled basilica with an elongated pentagonal apse, the cathedral sits atop a raised foundation along the west-east axis. Flanking the altar on either side are single-story square chambers symbolizing Christendom. Two lofty bell towers adorn the west facade. Adorning the interior are vibrant murals depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments on the walls, with the four Evangelists depicted beneath the cupola and the twelve Apostles above the candlesticks. Atop the altar, a colorful fresco of the Coronation of the Holy Mother graces the upper level, accompanied by portraits of various saints, including St. Nicholas and the Popes of Rome. Of particular significance are the wall paintings depicting scenes from the life and Passion of Christ. The mosaic floor beneath the main entrance gate bears the construction dates 1897-1903. Adorned with special stones that change color depending on the weather, the Holy Mother Cathedral exudes an air of mystery, adding to its allure and grandeur.
Mo A — Google review
An imposing building, although with the trees, can only be seen close-up. Interior is beautiful and with the calm, quiet, peaceful feeling of a place of worship. The frescoes and of course the strained glass windows are beautiful. Long trousers are required for men, but there are shawls and a cloths to cover legs or shoulders as required by the dress code.
Vincent O — Google review
Holy Mother Virgin Nativity Cathedral is the largest church in the Batumi area, and it’s definitely worth a visit. The building is beautiful, with impressive architecture and peaceful surroundings. Inside, you can feel the calm atmosphere and see how important it is to the local community. It’s also a great place to observe local life, as many residents come here to pray or light candles. A meaningful and authentic stop while exploring Batumi
Ramez S — Google review
If you're going to visit one church in Georgia it should be this one. It is absolutely beautiful. Just remember that there is a dress code in most churches in Georgia (no shorts and tank tops, also women should wear headscarf, men should leave their hats).
Eda — Google review
The Holy Mother Virgin Nativity Cathedral is a breathtaking vision of Neo-Gothic architecture, a rare style that distinguishes it from Georgia’s traditional domed churches. Originally commissioned by the Zubalashvili brothers as a Catholic church (1898-1903), its beauty lies in its magnificent European design. The façade is dominated by towering twin spires, rising elegantly above the city. Inside, the true splendor unfolds. The high, vaulted ceilings create an expansive, reverent atmosphere, while massive stained-glass windows — a key Gothic feature— flood the sanctuary with kaleidoscopic light. This vibrant glow illuminates the intricate Orthodox frescoes that now adorn the walls, symbolizing the peaceful merge of East and West within this resilient structure. It is a place of profound peace, offering visitors a unique blend of architectural grandeur and spiritual tranquility on the Black Sea coast.

Cafe
Laguna, a cozy cafe located in the heart of Batumi, is famous for its diverse selection of khachapuri, a traditional Georgian cheese-filled bread. The restaurant's signature dish is the Adjarski-style khachapuri, which comes in various sizes and can be customized with multiple egg yolks. A unique feature of this dish is that the inner dough can be scooped out, leaving behind a delightful combination of hot cheese and melting butter.
The hype as the best khachapuri in Batumi is probably right. As a great pizza, it is all about the crust. Charred crispy outer crust with soft bready interior with air bubbles, and leopard charred bottom crust. I order with less dough for the smaller appetites. Get the special with the special smoked cheese. A little more expensive, but so much better.
Sakai M — Google review
Recommended! The prices are normal. Khachapuri is super. The service is good. The dumplings in the pot are weaker, for my taste.

Laguna Café – Gorgiladze Street, Batumi 1. Great Location Laguna Café is in the center of Batumi, very easy to find and close to many attractions. 2. Nice Summer Terrace In the warm season, they open a cozy outdoor terrace. It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy the weather. 3. Clean and Stylish Interior The indoor space is neat and nicely decorated. It feels comfortable and welcoming. 4. Friendly Staff The ladies working there were smiling and polite. They took my order quickly and professionally. 5. Not Traditional Georgian Menu If you’re looking for classic Georgian dishes like khinkali or shashlik, this is not the place. They don’t serve those here. 6. But They Do Have Great Khachapuri I ordered the Adjarian khachapuri. It was served without the soft bread inside (mostly removed), with egg and butter on top. - The dough was perfectly baked—crispy and golden. - The cheese could use a bit more salt, but you can add it yourself. - The portion is big, definitely enough for two people. 7. Top 3 in Batumi for Adjarian Khachapuri Honestly, this version is now in my personal top 3 in Batumi. Delicious and well-made. 8. Fair Prices and Big Portions Prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. You won’t leave hungry. 9. Surprising Menu Choices Besides khachapuri, they also offer dumplings, pizza, and even Chicken Kiev. It’s a bit unexpected, but interesting. --- Overall: Laguna Café is a great place for Adjarian khachapuri and a relaxed meal in the center of Batumi. Good service, tasty food, and a pleasant atmosphere. Just don’t expect a full Georgian menu.
Taste B — Google review
So everyone online says this is the best Khachapuri in Batumi, it was good but I’m not sure it’s the best. But it is a really cool place with how you go slightly underground to dine here, and that is a nice feature. I wanted to dine here again to try other foods but never had a chance.
Branden G — Google review
The khachapuri was absolutely delicious and the wine was excellent I really enjoyed the flavors. However, I was quite disappointed with the service. I had also ordered a salad, but it never arrived and no one followed up on it. Such a small oversight can really affect the overall experience. Still, thank you for the great food and wine.

This place is when you want Acharuli Khachapuri only. You come in, get kachapuri very fast in a clean, nice place and leave. Don't expect anything more. I tasted special one with smoked cheese and it was fantastic. Good when you want a little change after tasting the same old good billion times.

One of the best museums I’ve ever been to. Just a heads-up—the price went up from 10 GEL to 15, but it includes a guide, which is totally worth it. I recommend stopping by right after you land to get a feel for the city. It’s a super interesting and unique museum, and the owner is really friendly and amazing for building it all himself. I had a great time and learned a lot of cool stuff!

Really nice little museum with a cosy, authentic feel. You can see traditional clothes, tools, and everyday items from different parts of Georgia. The highlight for us was the Turkish guide — incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all our questions, which made the visit even more interesting. It’s small, so you can see everything in about an hour, but it’s a great way to learn more about Georgian culture and take a break from the busy beach area. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Batumi.

The Astronomical Clock, situated at the junction of Gamsakhurdia and Abashidze streets, is a captivating sight reminiscent of Prague's famous clock. A great place to visit Close to the area with a lot of sights and nice atmosphere Beautiful architecture
Maria G — Google review
One of the nicest attractions in the city with its beautiful design and architecture. The Astronomical Clock is located on the tower of the old National Bank of Georgia building on Europe Square. Installed in the early 2010s, the design was inspired by historic astronomical clocks in European cities such as Prague and Venice, blending science, art, and engineering.
Abdulrahman Q — Google review
This clock is located near Europe Square and stands out immediately. The building where it is installed, the former headquarters of the National Bank of Georgia, is very beautiful, with a golden tower and architecture reminiscent of a castle. The clock itself is a replica of a famous clock in Prague and, in addition to the time, it shows astronomical information, such as the phases of the moon and the position of the sun. Because it is so high up on the tower, it's a bit difficult to see all the details on its face from below, but the beauty of the ensemble is worth it. It's common to find street performers singing below, which makes the atmosphere even more pleasant. It is free to observe.

The clock has special devices for showing us not only real time but also position of the planets like sun and moon and zodiac constelations. It also shows the meridian, the horizon, sunrise and sunset according to the sun motion, the age of the moon and the actual motion of the moon around the earth. When visiting Batumi, be sure to include Neptune Fountain in your itinerary. This monumental fountain is situated at the heart of Theater Square and features a gilded statue of Neptune surrounded by four mermaids. The sculpture is inspired by the original Fountain of Neptune in Bologna, Italy, and is a remarkable sight to behold. The attention to detail in replicating this iconic fountain makes it a must-see attraction in Batumi.
Beautiful... Around benches to sit a bit and rest!

Very nice fountain located in a public square next to Batumi theater in the heart of the city. The fountain Installed in 2010, it replaced the earlier monument to the Georgian writer Ilia Chavchavadze, which was subsequently moved behind the theater. The fountain is a replica of the famed Fountain of Neptune located in Bologna, Italy. The Batumi version mirrors the Italian masterpiece—including the central deity surrounded by mythological figures—but with its own local flair. In 2011, the Neptune’s statue and heraldic shields that stand in the center of the fountain were covered with gold.
Abdulrahman Q — Google review
⛲ Neptune Fountain - Batumi’s golden icon on a sunny October morning near the Drama Theatre. 👉 Previous visit: 1. Location & Access The fountain is in Theater Square, right in front of the Batumi Drama Theater. Easy to reach by walking from Europe Square or by minibus (routes 1, 1a, or 10). Parking is available nearby. 2. Design & History Built in 2010, this fountain shows Neptune (the Roman sea god) standing tall on a pedestal. Around him are four mermaids with water flowing from their chests. Some locals found the design too bold, but it definitely catches attention. In 2011, parts of the statue were covered in gold, making it shine even more. 3. Atmosphere & Surroundings The square is small but cozy. You’ll find benches, trees, and beautiful buildings around. It’s a good spot to rest, take photos, or enjoy the view. The nearby Drama Theater is also worth a look—especially if you enjoy architecture or live performances. 4. Best Time to Visit Daytime is great for photos, but the area can get hot under direct sun. Evening visits are cooler and more relaxed. The fountain is not musical or color-lit, so it’s more about the sculpture than a show. 5. Nearby Food & Attractions Lots of cafés and restaurants are close by. Try local khachapuri or grab coffee at Chocolatte Coffee Room or Heart of Batumi. Europe Square, Batumi Boulevard, and the Astronomical Clock are all within walking distance. 6. Final Thoughts It’s not a must-see, but it’s a nice stop if you’re exploring central Batumi. Good for quick photos and a short break. The fountain adds character to the square and shows Batumi’s mix of European and Georgian styles.

The Neptune Fountain (ნეპტუნის შადრევანი) in Batumi is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Located right in front of the Batumi Drama Theatre, it features a grand statue of Neptune, the Roman god of the sea, surrounded by golden mermaids and ornate decorations. Built in the early 2000s and inspired by the original fountain in Bologna, Italy, it represents Batumi’s connection to European art and architecture. It's particularly renowned for its meat dishes, with chicken and pork mtsvadi skewers cooked to order over coals on the street outside the restaurant.
Excellent food, always fresh and delicious! The khinkali are flavorful, whether filled with meat or cheese, and the salads are rich in taste and seasoning. The service is always outstanding, with a very friendly staff who are always happy to explain everything. There is also a selection of wines — I personally prefer the white ones.

Be prepared to wait 60 minutes for a small order. We ordered meat, courgettes and kebab. The courgettes came quickly, the rest took forever to arrive. The restaurant was almost empty. No queues or waiting, just sat down and ordered. The prices are bite. For the same price literally a 15m away we had 3 times as much food. The food was so out of this world. Not super tasty, but not disgusting either. Toilets are very good, that's good. Small selection of drinks. Everything is more expensive than other restaurants. Huge selection of wines. The waiter did not pick up dirty dishes, but in the receipt was +10% for service. The waiter brought the receipt and asked for cash or card payment. Later asked "are you sure you don't have cash on you?" and disappeared for 20 minutes. Had to look for a waiter to pay. Turns out by "do you have no cash?" he meant "pay at the bar". It was very frustrating waiting for something I don't understand. There are huge queues at the entrance during rush hour. There was live music in the evening. The restaurant is not worth its money, only to entertain yourself with Georgian wine

One of the best dining experiences we had in a very long time in general and not only in Georgia. Fair prices, very considerate service and amazing food. Georgian dances and live music made the whole experience extra wholesome. Would go here everyday again. Inside it might be a bit too loud for some people. We always waited a bit longer to be seated at terrace.

One of the best restaurants ever! We have been twice, on the 31.10 after getting married and on the 2.11, because we couldn’t resist! Everything is so tasty, the prices are wow! Interior and service is amazing! And it’s a plus that the waiters can speak English. We will come back one day for one of our wedding anniversaries 🥰🥰🥰

We visited this place twice, and enjoyed it both times. The service is pleasant, but in the evening you have to wait in line for a table. The restaurant is very large. We tried many dishes, including the mama-khinkali — everything was delicious. Prices are the same as everywhere else and not high at all. There is live music and a nice atmosphere. Nothing to complain about — everything was great. We recommend it.

Tavaduri is a great restaurant for anyone who loves authentic Georgian flavors. The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is the true highlight — rich, flavorful, and well-prepared. The traditional dishes, especially the khinkali and khachapuri, are outstanding, and the portions are generous. The best choice for 3-4 people is Tavaduri plate. The staff are very helpful to recommend dishes or explain ingredients. Prices are fair considering the quality and portion sizes. Whether you’re visiting for a casual dinner, celebrating a special occasion, or introducing to Georgian cuisine, Tavaduri is a good choice.

We went there on September 2nd around 9:50 PM. We ordered 2 grilled pork, 1 pork fillet medallion and a Caesar salad with cheese. The salad arrived after 15-20 minutes without any problems and was very good. Then the first grilled pork arrived 30-40 minutes later, and the medallion arrived another 20-25 minutes after the first grilled pork. It seemed like a joke, but the last grilled pork didn't arrive. A total of 2 hours passed and the item hadn't arrived. We said we didn't want the item and asked for the bill. When we checked the bill, we saw that the item we hadn't received was still on the bill. They didn't even bother to take it off. If we hadn't checked the bill, they would have charged us for it too. When we asked to take it off the bill, they weren't very welcoming. Absolutely disgusting hospitality experience. I would never recommend going there.

The Best Khinkali in Georgia! 🇬🇪 If you want to experience the real taste of Georgia — you must visit Tavaduri. We’ve tried khinkali in other nearby places, but Tavaduri is simply unbeatable. Their khinkali are juicy, flavorful, and wrapped in thin, delicate dough — a true culinary delight! 🥟💛 And don’t miss their pork and chicken barbecue — tender, juicy, and incredibly delicious! 🔥🍖

Shemoikhede Genatsvale, located in Batumi Old Town, is a popular spot known for its authentic Georgian cuisine and cozy ambiance. The restaurant's interior is adorned with cultural artifacts, adding to the traditional dining experience. Guests rave about the generous portions and value for money, with highlights such as Chashushuli and Adjarian Khachapuri receiving high praise. While English-only speakers may encounter some language barriers, friendly service and affordable prices make it worth a visit.
The food was great but, and this is a trend in Georgia, not just at this restaurant, after eating the servers may take your plates but they don't return with the bill for 10 to 20 minutes, it wasn't busy while we were there. There it just seems like this is part of the dining culture. No complaints at all. Would go again.

Amazing place! I've been in Georgia for 9 days now and this place has the best food so far! Wine is excellent! Their food has eatable portions that are delicious and their wine is perfect! I absolutely don't understand why people rated it so bad! People are nice and food is good. We tried Georgian local food and it was divine. 💯 I recommend 100% to try anything at all. Good service, barely any waiting time. Even after ordering 3 full meals and and entire bottle of wine, it costed us only 106 GEL! Cozy and amazing. ❤️ PS - If you're a fan of coriander and mint, try their Tkemali sauce. Absolutely mindblowing!
Aveeshikta C — Google review
We went to this restaurant for dinner and Georgian wine, and we asked them to choose the wine, appetizers, and food based on our taste. Everything was excellent, and the prices were incredibly reasonable. We had a liter of amazing Georgian white wine for just 16 GEL — and it was absolutely fantastic
Sara H — Google review
I don’t have many criticisms to share the service was excellent and the food overall was very good. The only drawback I noticed was the use of low-quality cheese in the cheese balls, which I wouldn’t recommend for children. On the positive side, the Georgian salad was generously filled with walnuts and absolutely delightful, the khinkali were flavorful, and the chicken mtsvadi was well-prepared. I personally wouldn’t choose to sit inside, as the interior feels quite old-fashioned and not to my taste, but the outdoor seating area is pleasant. For a mid-range restaurant, this experience fully deserves five stars, though of course it’s not intended to be high-end or luxury dining. and i have to add that prices are VERY reasonable, one of the reason for 5star. paid just 60 Gel for all of these.
Tsertsvadzenina — Google review
After staying and trying Georgian foods for 10 days can say with confidence thay this place will not dissapoint you. Try the Khinkali here with tkemali sauce, adjarian khachapuri and chanaki with beef. Also, the variety of wines they have are amazing. We tried the Kisi one and it was the best we tried here (we visited several wineries) If you are around Batumi, make sure to try for sure.

We often ate at this restaurant during our vacation - great restaurant, delicious food, good service, good prices. The children liked the dishes as well The rating of the restaurant should be higher because the traditional dishes are of high quality

Idk how this restaurant has such a high rating but it is clearly untrue. The food is below decent, prices are higher than expected. horrible customer service, i was ignored multiple times by same man after i was told he would bring me a menu, never happened. Had to ask someone else in the end. He got the same order twice for a table next to me and obviously more food was brought. They were constantly getting wrong orders and messing things up. Rude staff overall. Had to go to the bar to pay as nobody brought the check

A very atmospheric spot with a unique vibe. The drinks feature local twists and ingredients, making it a great place to explore regional flavors in a fun way. Highly recommend coming here with friends to sit, relax, and enjoy the creative cocktails. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for something more authentic and chill. Great ambiance, friendly staff, and a cool selection of drinks that you probably won’t find anywhere else. A must-try for cocktail lovers!

Not really a dining place. Good for drinks and bites. The atmosphere for those purpose is good. It’s a small restaurant inside with tables both indoor and outdoor. The outdoor tables are nice. The burgers are really good but it takes quite some time to prepare it. Prices are a little high. Generally, good friend place but not family.

Interesting concept — a bar focused on chacha. The selection of drinks is really good, and the prices are reasonable. It can get quite noisy in the evenings, so it’s more of a place for fun with friends than a quiet dinner. Overall, a nice experience, but I recommend booking a table in advance since it gets crowded.

The structure is attractive, adding a nice touch to the park's ambiance. It's a good place for a quick stop if you're already in the park. The Colonnade also serves as a popular gathering place for locals and tourists . However, it doesn't warrant a special trip just to see it.

The Colonnade (კოლონადა) in Batumi is one of the city’s most elegant and recognizable landmarks. Built in the 1930s, it was designed to give a grand entrance to the seaside area and to reflect the neoclassical style popular at the time. The white columns, arranged in perfect symmetry, create a beautiful contrast with the blue of the Black Sea right behind them. Originally, the Colonnade was built for a cultural exhibition and quickly became a symbol of Batumi’s seaside charm. Today it’s a popular spot for photos, weddings, and evening walks.

Located in the heart of Batumi, next to Europe Square, Blue Elephant Cafe is a popular spot for breakfast enthusiasts. The cafe offers a perfect blend of casual and sophisticated dining experiences with meticulous attention to detail and the use of organic ingredients. Executive Chef Elene Kakabadze has developed an innovative touch to European cuisine served at the cafe. Guests can enjoy a delightful selection of breakfast options including eggs, gourmet toasts, and cottage cheese pancakes.
The music in the store is loud, so I think it would be more comfortable if you turned the volume down. Had a wonderful breakfast at this café this morning! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the stylish tables, chairs, and cushions created a fantastic atmosphere. It’s dog-friendly (outdoor seating), which is great! The Americano, omelet, and smoked salmon with avocado toast were absolutely delicious. Even the stray dog hanging around was adorably chubby and calm, adding to the charm. One suggestion: the sunlight was a bit strong and glaring, so adding a canopy or some shade would make it even cozier. Amazing place overall—I’ll definitely be back! ⭐︎The toilets are very clean! Amazing.

Stylish and hospitable place with nice French music. I came with food poisoning so the staff was kind to adjust a dish for me. The food was delicious! Appreciate the real flowers on the tables. Funny enough during the 1.5 hours of our being there they cleaned the floor three times yet there was no toilet paper in the ladies room 😅

We were at this place for breakfast three weeks ago. The food looked really delicious. I had never tried eggs Benedict before, so I decided to give it a try, and so did my friends. While we were initially satisfied, unfortunately, we experienced serious health issues afterward, lasting nearly 14 days. One of my friends was even hospitalized, and it was later confirmed that she had salmonella. We believe the eggs may not have been stored properly.

We had a great breakfast at this place. We read the other complaints but we didn't experience any of the issues there. The service was very fast and efficient, the food was great and prices were in line with other similar places. Overall, recommended.

This was a first meal out in Batumi and we were not disappointed at all. We had good vegetarian options thanks to the chef and our server. Special mention for the rigatoni with truffle cream and mushrooms. It was one of the best pastas I've had so far!

I visited on a calm Tuesday morning and ordered the chicken pâté on brioche. While the pâté itself had a slightly off aftertaste, the rest of the dish—including the toasted brioche, fresh salad, and caramelized onions—was delicious. The cappuccino was also quite good. Given the café’s location, the price felt fair. I sat outside, where you could watch people going about their day, which added to the relaxed vibe. They also brought out a bottle of detox water as a welcome drink, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, I’d definitely go again—though next time I’d probably try something different, like the croque madame.

We ordered the chia pudding and oatmeal with caramelized bananas — both were very tasty! The environment was pleasant, and we really enjoyed our time here.

It is a lovely café with a state-of-the-art interior design. You can wash your hands without having to go to the toilet which we found incredibly practical. We have no qualms about recommending Blue Elephant Café to anyone!

My husband and I went to a play by Russian author, translated to Georgian. Since we don't speak the local language, we could judge the theater only by decorations, overall upkeep and the comfort. This theatre is located in the center of Old city, so it's very convenient to get there. The decorations and actor's play were adequate, in our opinion, if it means anything with our lack of understanding. The sits were not very comfortable, no leg room. Overall, I would still recommend going to this theatre, to appreciate the cultural heritage of Georgian archritecture and experience a beautiful atmosphere.

Overall, it was honestly a great and intriguing experience. The shows were fascinating and totally worth the ticket price. Cultural Events During summer, the theater hosts concerts, plays, and festivals. If you visit in season, you might catch a live performance. It’s lively and full of energy. 4. History and Rebirth The original theater was built in 1949 but burned down in 2001. Locals helped rebuild it in 2013. The new version keeps the old charm but adds modern touches like more windows and better seating. 5. Comfort and Space The theater now fits over 1,000 people. Even on hot days, it stays cool inside thanks to smart design. Seats are comfortable, and the view of the stage is good from most places. 6. Good for All Ages Families, couples, and solo travelers can all enjoy it. It’s quiet during the day and exciting at night when events happen. 7. Tips for Visitors - Check the schedule before you go—some events are free, others need tickets. - Arrive early for good seats. - Bring a camera—the building and gardens are very photogenic. 8. Final Thoughts Whether you love culture or just want a peaceful spot to relax, the Batumi Summer Theater is worth a visit. It’s a mix of history, art, and local pride.

Horrible organizing skills. Nothing ever starts in time, is waiting outside for the concert to start for half an hour and nobody has any idea and nobody is telling us anything, manager has no clue what she’s doing. Services like Soviet times. When they open the door and let us in at last, the sound was so horrible and performance so bad that we couldn’t stay more than 20 minutes. Lots of people were leaving not just us forever. It was a performance on 28 August . I believe a dog

Definitely the highlight of our stay in Batumi, Georgia. This Georgian Folklore dance has artists from the Shukhisvili Ballet Company, which seems to be comparable to the Bolshoi Ballet. We are extremely lucky to have been able to catch this high quality performance👌👏👏👏

Be aware that there is no beverage and snack bar inside, and the seats are quite uncomfortable. You need to bring everything with you, including pillows to sit on and make yourself comfortable.

Nestled on the Turkish-Georgian border, Sarpi Beach is a serene coastal haven offering a peaceful escape from urban bustle. The beach boasts pristine sandy shores and clear waters, making it an ideal destination for relaxation and leisure. Surrounded by lush green mountains, this picturesque retreat provides a tranquil setting for visitors to unwind. Unlike the bustling Batumi, Sarpi Beach offers a quieter atmosphere with ample lounge chairs and food shacks along its expansive coastline.
The huge round stones are so great, they hurt your feet if you walk over them, but otherwise make the beach perfect because there's no annoying sand, no wet sand. The beach is perfect!

Quiet beach. 30 minutes from Batumi. Small stones. Day bed 5 Larry, umbrella 5 Larry. Clean. Cross the road a lot of shops and several cafe. Unfortunately it was stormy sea, but the view was amazing.
Anna B — Google review
I came on vacation with my parents. Looking for a place to swim in Batumi, the best option was this beach. Since Batumi beach is polluted! So... Sapri beach. The best beach in Batumi - don't make me laugh. Located on the border, on the literal border with Turkey! A lot of cars standing in traffic to cross the border, rumbling, dirt, rusty nails, sticks scattered all over the beach, a pile of garbage. It's like it's not a beach, it's a dump! Disappointment, anger and humiliation are the only emotions! Comments that praise this beach is an exaggeration, bots, or people who have gone through this torment, want others to suffer!

Beautiful view, clean water. There are several sap board rent stations on the beach. Great thing you can easily get here from Batumi on a bus №16 (it won't be a very pleasant road though)

Very clean and quiet beach! If you don’t like crowded places, this one will be perfect!
Michal P — Google review
A more quite pebble beach right near the border to Türkiye. Unfortunately there is a lot of truck traffic here due to the proximity of the border. This also makes parking a little more tricky. The beach is not bad but slightly more trash around than Batumi. If you are looking for an escape from the Batumi traffic, then you may enjoy a small stroll here. It's not very long. You can walk to the end in 10m.

It was a small but charming museum in Batumi. The tickets were extremely cheap. Closed. I was there today before 5 p.m. The door were open, there was a security guard inside who spoke neither English nor Russian. On google translator he showed me that the museum was closed. When I showed him the sign on the door "Open" and another sign in front of the building, that the museum is open everyday till 6 p.m., he showed on his mobile phone, that he was not entitled to let anyone in and sorry. So this museum is formally open but closed in fact. Useless place, you will waste your time.

McDonald's Batumi Grand Mall is a one-of-a-kind fast-food restaurant that stands out for its unique architecture. Unlike the typical image of a McDonald's, this location in Batumi features a futuristic design made of glass and steel. It offers the classic menu items that the chain is known for, making it an interesting blend of tradition and innovation. With its striking appearance, this McDonald's is a must-see attraction for visitors to Batumi.
Polite staff and same as other places, only one option for vegetarians. Quick as lighting. Located inside Grand Mall, Batumi

Is it my imagination, or has this lemonade been slightly topped up? I did not expect such a small-minded attitude from a Georgian cafe. It is also truth about the long wait and ignoring of visitors by McDonald's employees.

They keep marking orders as ready even when they are not, so everyone is standing in front of the pick-up point chaotically
Ivan B — Google review
We order a burger, a french fries and a coke. The burger and the fries were not hot, but just warm. Plus the taste was so so. The fries container and the coke glass we’re not full. And we didn’t even have a welcome or a smile. Really poor and cheap service. The delivery was fast though. I hope they have better McDonald’s in Georgia. It seems that they don’t have the same standards than elsewhere.
Marc B — Google review
Extremely disappointing experience at McDonald’s Batumi (Grand Mall). Not only was the delivery painfully slow, but the payment was instantly deducted from my card — no delays there, of course. What’s worse, there seems to be no responsible support team to assist when something goes wrong. The courier was shockingly rude, shouting on the phone even after I clearly provided detailed directions word-for-word. After waiting over an hour, I still had to go downstairs myself to meet them — and instead of an apology, I was met with aggression. Absolutely unacceptable service. This was one of the worst delivery experiences I’ve ever had. McDonald’s should seriously reconsider the standards of both their delivery process and the behavior of couriers associated with their platform

The Batumi Central Mosque, also known as Orta Jame, is a significant historical and architectural landmark in Batumi, Georgia. Batumi's Enduring Orta Jame Mosque The Batumi Central Mosque, locally known as Orta Jame (meaning 'Mosque in the middle'), is the heart of the city's Muslim community and a powerful symbol of its religious tolerance. Built in 1886 during the Ottoman period, it is the only mosque in central Batumi to have survived the Soviet suppression. Architecturally, the two-story rectangular structure features a distinctive gilded dome and a tall, slender white minaret. However, its true beauty lies within. The interior is famous for its vibrant frescoes and intricate ornamentation, featuring geometric and floral patterns painted by artists from Lazistan. Orta Jame stands as a cherished cultural landmark, celebrating both Islamic heritage and the harmonious multi-faith character of Batumi.

Beautiful waterfall, very small and it’s not that wild, the path is constructed and it feels less like a natural experience. In summer there is much less water and during the winter it’s more interesting. Some write you can swim there but it’s very small and there isn’t much space there so you would be like in a zoo while everyone watches how you sit there half naked 😂 Also it’s not that deep there either. It doesn’t feel like you went into a wild but it’s a nice spot if you are passing by

While not the flashiest aquarium you might visit, the Batumi Aquarium offers a charming and surprisingly diverse underwater experience for a very reasonable price. Nestled on the Black Sea coast, this hidden gem is a must-visit for any marine life enthusiast or curious traveler in Batumi, Georgia. The Batumi Aquarium might not boast the vast collections of some of its more prominent counterparts. However, its modest size is precisely what lends it a certain charm. The intimate setting allows for a more focused exploration of the Black Sea's underwater world and the fascinating creatures that call it home. One of the most appealing aspects of the Batumi Aquarium is its affordability. The entrance fee is quite reasonable, making it an accessible attraction for budget-conscious travelers. The Batumi Aquarium might not be a sprawling underwater wonderland, but it offers a charming and informative glimpse into the Black Sea's diverse aquatic life. With its focus on local species, educational exhibits, and budget-friendly entrance fee, the Batumi Aquarium is a hidden gem waiting to be explored.

Cheap aquarium (4GEL) but nothing special to see. Lot of fish are the same across different aquariums. Some of them were even dead 😂 water in reservoirs is sometimes little bit dirty and it’s hard to see through water.
Vik S — Google review
Pretty small, only one room. Not very clean and no toilet, theres a paid public bathroom across the street in the park though. Staff wasnt very friendly, fish were nice enough.
Jakub D — Google review
The fish were stunning, they have some lovely species. However, the conditions for the creatures were pretty bad, their habitat setups weren't great, the aquariums are very dirty and there were leaks everywhere. Overall, the pond with koi fish by the entrance was better than the actual paid experience.

Not worth even one lari, dont go there. Ticket 4 lari, you will see few fishes but the aquariums are not big enough for them. It is sad to Look at this poor Animals.

You hardly find any friendly person in Georgia ( sadly) such a nice place . Anyway the aquarium was too simple/ not clean, too small .
Amin Y — Google review
If I could give this place -1000000000 I would. This place is disgusting and disturbing. It smells so bad, the tanks are dirty, the floor is wet and there are way too many fish in 1 tank. This place should be shut down by the government or the police, this is plain out abuse!!
Shelly L — Google review
Small salon, And sadly a lot of fish in small places for swimming and living. There is some photos in images of this aquarium that it mislead you , and you may expect to see a huge aquarium!
