Beautiful square with unique architecture. It's full of small shops and has a vibrant atmosphere. Plenty of small shops and restaurants around the area too. I recommend going around the golden hour, as light beautifully reflects off the buildings.

Europe Square is a wonderful place to visit. The square features beautiful architecture inspired by different countries across Europe, giving it a unique and charming atmosphere. Each building represents a distinct European style, making it feel like a small tour around the continent in one spot. It’s clean, lively, and great for walking around, taking photos, or just relaxing and enjoying the surroundings

Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Batumi—go in the early evening to catch the square at its best: pleasant light, good café vibe, and the mix of old and new architecture. Great for a stroll, a coffee, some photos, or simply soaking in the local vibe.
Denis — Google review
This square is the true heart of the old town and one of the most beautiful places in the city. It is surrounded by buildings with beautiful, well-preserved facades in classic European architecture. The main highlight is the imposing Statue of Medea, which stands in the center holding the Golden Fleece. It's a very popular meeting point, featuring a fun fountain that springs directly from the ground. Additionally, it's common to find small craft fairs selling local souvenirs. It is a perfect place to stroll and take photos. It is free to visit.
Luana B — Google review
Very beautiful area in the heart of Batumi’s city center, filled with shops, restaurants and cafes. It has a monument with a statue of Medea, which holds a symbol of the glory and cultural development of old Colchis - the golden fleece. The area is surrounded by very beautiful buildings with lovely European architecture. There’s a bazaar as well where locals showcase all kinds of products.
Abdulrahman Q — Google review
A very beautiful part of the city. Amazing architecture, lively, friendly people. Street music performances and a little market in the evening 🎊

Additionally, the Nobel Brothers Technological Museum provides insight into Batumi's history as a major trading port. This museum showcases the impact of the Nobel brothers on the region and features artifacts from the era.
We visited there in the dark. The street is very beautiful. The tall buildings are lit up in a very impressive way. The fountain is stunning.

Very beautiful and peaceful place. Perfect for walking. The boulevard is full of people enjoying their time, playing, walking, biking, etc. Very clean and well maintained, the greenery is beautiful and the playgrounds are nice. The seaside is nice and most of the attractions are within the boulevard or nearby.

This is without a doubt the heart of the city. It's a beautiful and huge wooded park that stretches for 7 kilometers along the Black Sea coast. It is the perfect place to stroll at any time of day, whether for walking, running, or renting a bike. It's clearly a meeting point for locals and tourists, always full of life. The place is very well-maintained, with various modern sculptures, cafes, and fountains. An essential and relaxing walk.

Batumi Boulevard Park is one of the most beautiful parks in the city, stretching along the Black Sea coast. Originally established in 1881, it features palm trees, sculptures, bike paths, cafes, and plenty of spots to relax — making it a favorite among both locals and visitors. Personally, I really enjoy spending time here, especially in the evenings. The musical fountain show adds a special charm and makes the atmosphere even more enjoyable. It's a perfect place for a peaceful walk, watching the sunset, or simply unwinding by the sea.
Birsen Y — Google review
A beautiful place for long walks or a jog (5km...) along the beachfront or the tree-lined paths alongside. Clean and picturesque with the varied architecture in the background. Really nice.

What a thriving place... Mornings and evenings are so gorgeous. There are cycling track, walking lane and roraing black sea near both. There are multipal food shacks and some good entertainment in the evening. Eveningn is very vibrant here.

The first place I went after checking in to my hostel. 8 kms of beauty. Right near the beach. Very lively. It's a good idea to rent a city bike and take tour around. It's also connected to the 6 may park. There is a little japanese garden in there. Gelato shops, bars, coffee places and the best doggies in the world are all summoned in this park 🫠

Batumi Piazza Square is a must-see destination near the Black Sea, boasting an Italian-style ambiance with surrounding buildings featuring European architecture. This bustling square is home to numerous hotels, restaurants, and cafes, making it one of the liveliest spots in Georgia. At its center lies Europe's largest figurative marble mosaic, covering an impressive 106 square meters.
At night there is a lot of fun for everybody even for my kids. The music the action the activity was amazing. The atmosphere was wonderful. Great place to be. Don't miss such place. The Arab street is close to it also. Be careful it's not easy to bark in such area is a taxi which is much much better than your own car, which will save you time and headach.
Dr. E — Google review
It is much smaller than I expected and was not very busy at all, albeit being a mid morning on a Friday. It probably is much busier in the evenings and late afternoon. Some beautiful architecture around. There is live music in the evenings which should be nice.
Vincent O — Google review
Wonderful square with a great atmosphere. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and dessert spots around. They often show football games on a big outdoor screen — perfect place to hang out with friends
Ramez S — Google review
This square is a charming place that looks like a piece of Italy in Batumi. The architecture of the surrounding buildings is all in the Venetian style, which makes the atmosphere very beautiful. The square is full of cafes and restaurants, making it a great place to sit and relax. There is also a tall tower with a musical clock. It is a very pleasant spot to visit, especially at night, when it's livelier and there is often live music. Entry to the square is free, and the cafes accept card payments.
Luana B — Google review
It’s a nice area, especially at night. Restaurants and cafés are all around, and you can even get a massage. We also enjoyed the live music.”
SAJJAD H — Google review
Very beautiful place, very lively atmosphere filled with restaurants and cafes. The square is surrounded by very beautiful architecture and it’s most renowned for the beautiful mosaic in its center. The 106 square meter mosaic is considered the largest figurative marble mosaic in Europe. Designed by the Georgian-Swiss designer Natali de Pita Amirejibi. The mosaic was created in 2010, according to de Pita-Amirejbi’s original sketches at the Fantini Mosaici workshop in Abu Dhabi. Upon its completion the mosaics were transferred to Batumi and then assembled piece by piece under Natali de Pita Amirejibi’s personal supervision.
Abdulrahman Q — Google review
It is best to visit here in the evening to have a romantic dinner. There was a soft live music in the square and prices were ok in such location
Frayne G — Google review
It's funny, because in Italian, "square" is "piazza." It's a little piece of Italy in Georgia. It's charming and touristy. It's not worth a special trip, but if you're strolling around the city, it's worth a visit.

The Argo Cable Car, also known as the Batumi cable car, is a popular tourist attraction in Batumi. It takes visitors to the top of Mount Anuria, offering breathtaking views of the city and the Black Sea. The cable car journey covers a distance of 2.5km and reaches a height of 250 meters. At the mountain's summit, there is a cafe and a square where visitors can admire panoramic scenes of Batumi and the picturesque Black Sea.
We went on a rainy day and it was still great! Beat the crowds and got some nice photos. Very easy to buy tickets. If there is a long line at the counter you can buy tickets online. All cable cars in Georgia have been really nice and worth checking out.
Sarah G — Google review
The Argo Cable Car provides a lovely journey, but I highly recommend planning your visit around sunset to get the best experience. If you go during the middle of the daytime, the view from the top is pleasant but not spectacular. However, if you wait until nighttime, you'll only see the beautiful city lights, and you will completely miss out on the gorgeous photo spots at the peak which require daylight. The best time to go is definitely just before sunset. This allows you to catch the golden hour views, take great photos at the top, and then stay long enough to watch the city transition into a sparkling blanket of lights as darkness falls. A quick note on the other two package tickets/add-ons they offer: as an adult, I did not find them worthwhile or special. I recommend sticking to the standard cable car ticket.
Iqram A — Google review
Definitely worth visiting! The views are amazing, and the price is very reasonable. Sunset is the peak time, so the lines can get a bit long, but they move quite quickly. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.
Austeja M — Google review
The price vs value wasn't there for this cable car compared to others we rode in Georgia, at USD$12.30/pp particularly considering that the view wasn't clear. If the air is really hazy, the view from the top isn't good. The ride is fast and smooth. The bottom operator guy would not let us wait for a car to ride alone (and there was nobody else behind us.) It worked out for us in the end as a hat was left behind in the cable car and one of the other passengers gave it to the top operator guy. When the other people saw us they communicated that it was there. And the hat was very much needed that day! There are clean bathrooms up top, as well as a souvenir shop and a cafe/restaurant and an ice cream stand. We didn't eat up top, so nothing to review on that. The tiny chapel was peaceful, and there was a great breeze just outside the chapel (on the right) by the edge of the trees. Security scolded and stopped multiple tourists sitting on the edge of the circular fountain that looks like a sailboat. There is a swing for photos that was tied (to not move much) that had a net to catch anyone who fell off so they didn't fall down the face of the hill. It was below "ok" in my opinion, and overpriced for the view.
Just M — Google review
The cable car ride was very different. Instead of hoovering over the trees and mountains, this ride is mostly on the city with great views of the port on one side and the mountain on the other. The weather was overcast during our ride, so we enjoyed a lot. Once you reach the top, there are some restaurants, gaming arcade (tickets to be bought at the ground counter). There was also a stand for Minimelts that the kids enjoyed a lot especially their new kiwi flavor. Overall, it was a great experience.
Osayed R — Google review
A lovely experience taking the cable car here in Batumi and seeing the wonderful views of the city with the surrounding beautiful green mountains and the black sea. And i would absolutely recommend checking out the digital museum and including it in the package. It’s a beautiful art show showcasing the works of a certain painter in a very beautiful way with music and animation. It was Vincent Van Gogh in my case. I can’t recommend it enough. The overall experience was very nice.
Abdulrahman Q — Google review
Though a somewhat pricey activity, the cable car is a fun way to see the city, and the views from the hill are unmatched. On a clear day, you can even see the snow capped peaks of distant mountains, and of course, all of Batumi is visible from up there.
Matthew U — Google review
This is a must when in Batumi.! The cable car costs around 32 lari would take you on a 10 minute journey to the top of a mountain where you will have a breathtaking view awaiting you.! I recommend to go just before sunset so you get to see the city at its best. There’s also a museum, restaurant and a live show at the top so you can spend a nice evening here.!

The Batumi Dolphinarium is a popular marine animal park in Batumi, known for its regular dolphin shows and swim-with-dolphin experiences. It's a perfect spot for families looking for fun activities with children. The dolphinarium offers captivating and acrobatic shows performed by highly trained dolphins, as well as entertaining seal shows. Visitors can also enjoy the special experience of swimming with dolphins and taking close photos with these amazing animals.
Really great show, the trainers treat the dolphins like their own children, very affectionate. The dolphins are absolutely incredible! Don't let the rudeness of the security staff discourage you, they aren't who you are paying to see 😊
Luc T — Google review
First of all, a big thank you to all the dolphin trainers for their beautiful spirit. The best experience is to buy tickets through the website. It's very easy and gives you the opportunity to buy the first seats. I wish the interaction with the audience was a little more. It's a good experience for the family, especially for children.
Waleed A — Google review
We were late by around like 10 minutes from the time of the show but it was right when the show started, we came for out baby who at the time was around 5 months old and she seemed to enjoy the show , even for us the adults it was very entertaining, there were about 10 or so dolphins from small to huge ones they splashed water danced played with objects it was a blast, The place was completely full and it was a week day which is surprising. Great show would come again.
Alex B — Google review
Very talented dolphins with skilled and loving trainers with their trainees. Lot of acrobatic show ( with balls, circles) even with georgian dolphin dancing.😱 Take seriously and avoid splashing zone. Highly recommended.
Krisztina O — Google review
If you are in Batumi, this place and show is must watch for you and your kids. Yours kids would love the show. The tickets can be bought online. I recommend you not to buy the front seats in the middle portion of the dolphinarium as dolphins splash water on the viewers as an act to cheer people up. In this act your clothes will entirely get wet. The acts of dolphins are excellent and well choreographed. I would recommend you to surely pay a vist to this place.
Deepak C — Google review
Batumi Dolphinarium is a fun and entertaining place to visit, not just for kids but for adults as well. The dolphin show is very well organized, with smart and talented dolphins performing amazing tricks. The trainers are skilled and clearly care for the animals, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is friendly and lively, and the whole event is full of positive energy. A great activity for families, couples, or anyone looking to spend an enjoyable hour in Batumi
Ramez S — Google review
We visited the Dolphin show last week. It was very nice, english narrated and fun. Recommendations: Buy tickets in advance If its summer, go in the evening (21:00 show) as its still warm and if you go earlier youll be very hot.
Jakub D — Google review
Half an hour show. Takes place once a day everyday except Monday. If you are planning to visit Batumi, then must visit this place. Price 20 Lari per person. Try to avoid the first 6 rows to avoid getting wet. Take middle rows in block B and C for best views

The Ali & Nino Statue is a captivating sculpture located in Batumi, Georgia. This 8-meter-tall artwork, created by Georgian sculptor Tamara Kvesitadze, depicts the intertwined figures of Ali and Nino. The sculpture represents the love story between a Muslim man from Azerbaijan and a Christian Georgian princess during the early 20th century.
The Ali & Nino statue is a very romantic place to visit. The story behind it adds a lot of meaning, and watching the figures move is really beautiful. The statue itself is smaller than it looks in photos or videos, but it’s still impressive and full of charm. It’s lovely to see both during the day and at night — the lights at night make it even more special. Definitely worth a stop when you’re in Batumi.
Ramez S — Google review
The moving statue of Ali and Nino is a must-see landmark solely because it is iconic in Batumi—it's essential for your photos while visiting the city! Other than its visual significance, there is nothing special about the viewing experience. Crowd Warning & Tips: This area is heavily crowded for most of the day and evening. Your best bet for a better view with fewer people is early in the day (daytime is much less crowded) or waiting until after 10 PM. If you go between those times, be prepared for a massive crowd around the statue.
Iqram A — Google review
A Unique Landmark with a Memorable Vibe The Ali and Nino statue is a must-see while in Batumi — its slow, graceful motion tells a powerful story and adds a poetic feel to the waterfront. While the sculpture appears larger in photos, it’s still quite captivating in person and beautifully crafted. The area around the statue is lively, though it can get a bit crowded with people offering flowers or asking for money, which slightly took away from the calmness of the experience. That said, renting a nearby boat for 150 GEL was a great choice. It gave us a peaceful escape and a stunning view of the coastline from the sea, adding something special to the visit.
Kasra S — Google review
This is a must visit site when you are in Batumi..this park situated in bank of Black sea...these statue are symbol of love crossing eachother...good technology used...so many boat rides you can do in 20GEL...lots of cafe's are there...
Arindam B — Google review
Love it The sculpture is across the river where lots of activities take place Boating, playing games, rides or eating ice-cream it's ur choice. The vibe is of fun n it feels ur in a fair.
Shubhra S — Google review
The statue might look huge from photos but it is of normal size. the crowd around is minimal. The magic happens when the two statues meet and connect. There is a long boardwalk and lot of rides that is on offer including boat rides, Jet ski,Scooters and small boats
Ramesh N — Google review
What a wonderful place in the Batumi Boulevard. Situated beside the beach , this moving statue is one of the major attractions in the park . Also , whenever you come here , do google the story behind it . The nightview with all the lights makes it an even more stunning place .

The Chacha Tower in Batumi is a unique attraction that celebrates Georgian hospitality and tradition. This 25-meter tall fountain, modeled after Izmir's Clock Tower, was meant to dispense chacha, a traditional Georgian spirit, from its base at scheduled times. Although it lacks the level of detail of the original structure, it offers an observation deck with panoramic views of Batumi's coastline.
Amazing architecture next to the sea, looks like Europe definitely. The whole are is a must go place in Batumi during the sunrise and sunset!
Yonathan S — Google review
This structure was built in 2012 and is 25 meters high. It is said that chacha comes out of its fountains instead of water. Apparently, nothing like this has happened since 2015.
Ali A — Google review
"Chacha" tower, also known as the Fountain Tower - is located in Batumi, Adjara. The tower is an exact copy of the building that was located in Batumi in the early 20th century. First Chacha tower was built on the seashore more than a hundred years ago. It was rebuilt by the Georgian government in 2012. “Chacha tower” is 25 meters (75ft) high building with an observation platform on top. From here you can see all the coastline of Batumi. Tower is surrounded by four pools with systems that allow the circulation of Chacha. Everybody can come here and taste this famous Georgian drink “Chacha”, it’s free. The fountain does not function every day. Georgian drink "Chacha" is flowed over once in a week for 10-15 minutes.
Kamyab A — Google review
The Fountain Tower, alternatively known as the "Chacha" tower is an identical replica of a structure that was situated in the same location during the early 1900s. The original tower, which was constructed over a century ago on the seashore, underwent reconstruction by the Georgian government in 2012. Standing 25 meters (75ft) tall, the Chacha tower boasts an observation deck at its summit, providing panoramic views of Batumi's coastline. Additionally, the tower is encircled by four pools equipped with Chacha-circulating systems. There used to flow some chacha at specific times but I think it doesn't anymore

Gonio-Apsaros Fortress, located in what was once Colchis, is a remarkable Roman fortification with a rich history tied to legends like Jason and the Argonauts. This unique example of Roman Byzantine military architecture features a rectangular layout with imposing high stone walls encompassing an area of 47,000 square meters and is adorned with 18 towers.
It’s an interesting place! There’s an archaeological site, so you can see people actually digging there. There isn’t a lot to see, but the atmosphere is really nice and worth a quick visit. Tickets are cheap — around 10 GEL.

Spectacular. Magical place. With old walls, extremely green grass and forested hills in the back you get a sensational experience. The whole area is quite big. Takes about 30-40 minutes to walk throught it.
Kamil — Google review
We were here 7 years ago and today we came back here with our children. My daughter studied the history of the Russian Empire at the English school and when we arrived in Batumi we went to show her Gonio. This is a unique place that everyone should visit. The territory is not big, but it has so much history. There is a very beautiful museum on the premises that can describe the history in detail. Here you can buy souvenirs, take a walk and there is a toilet. This year we also saw roses blooming - here is our own alley of different roses. There is a separate house in which clothes and tools of those times are presented. Admission is free for locals and 10 GEL for guests.
Snizhana S — Google review
Gonio Fortress is a lovely historical site worth visiting for anyone interested in history and ancient architecture. The fortress offers a glimpse into the past with its well-preserved ruins and small onsite museum displaying historical artifacts. It’s a pleasant place to walk through and explore. The staff at the entrance were friendly and welcoming, and the facilities, including the restrooms, were clean and well-maintained.

The fortress in Gonio is probably not the most famous in the world, but it is very well preserved and visited. Just think, it is already two thousand years old! A ticket costs only 10 GEL. You can walk right along the preserved walls of the fortress. There is an archaeological museum, a souvenir shop, and the tomb of one of Christ's apostles, Matthias, on the grounds.

Gonio Fortress is a cool ancient spot near Batumi with sturdy stone walls and pretty green areas. The statues and ruins, plus the possible Saint Matthias tomb, make it historically fun. I enjoyed the peaceful vibe and exploring!

Gonio Fortress is a fascinating historical site full of stories and charm. The ancient walls, towers, and peaceful garden inside make it a great place to walk around and imagine life centuries ago. The site is well-kept and surrounded by beautiful nature, with views of the mountains and the sea nearby. A must-visit if you’re in Batumi and love history or quiet, atmospheric places!
Rima B — Google review
Gonio, previously called Apsarus or Apsaros, is a Roman fortification 15 km south of Batumi, at the mouth of the Chorokhi river. Its name was connected with the myth of Medea and her brother Absyrtus. In the 2nd century AD it was a well-fortified Roman city within Colchis. The town was also known for its theatre and hippodrome. It later came under Byzantine influence. In addition, there was a short-lived Genoese trade factory at the site. In 1547, Gonio was taken by the Ottoman Empire, who held it until 1878, when, via the San-Stefano Treaty, Adjara became part of the Russian Empire. The grave of Saint Matthias, one of the twelve apostles, is believed to be inside the Gonio fortress. The location of the fortress, surrounded by lash green mountains, is amazingly beautiful and very picturesque.

It is an ideal spot for families to enjoy at no cost. The park features captivating water ponds, lush green spaces, and inviting sitting areas for relaxation. Visitors can also witness entertaining dolphin shows during their visit.
Beautiful and well-kept park in the heart of Batumi. Very clean, with lots of green areas and benches to sit and relax. Great place for an easy walk, hanging out with friends, or just enjoying the view over the city. There's also a small zoo on one side and a nice lake in the middle. Super chill vibe—perfect for a break, a good conversation, or even a quiet cigar. Definitely one of the best spots to slow down in Batumi.

Lovely relaxing park with a large lake and a beautiful view of the city. There are spots suitable for fishing, others for picnic and playing cards, etc. There was a live artist playing the guitar, and plenty of place to sit with a perfect view.

Excellent place a the family. The only down about it was that the flamingo is so far that you cannot see them clearly.

This place is in a very quiet, almost rural location. Quiet streets lined with fruit trees, we saw chicken, cats. We even spotted a horse there! The room is spacious and very clean. It is truly the perfect place to stay overnight and catch the early morning flight. The place is perfect for a family with kids. There are a couple of restaurants in walking distance. We enjoyed local food there. Though, I highly recommend to download some translator like Yansex translator app because, English is not really widely spoken by locals:).
Natalia S — Google review
A nice, clean park with a small lake, limited benches, and many shady trees to sit under. A favorite with the locals in the evenings and on the weekends to bring the kids and let them play in the grass. There are swan boats available for rent in the lake. One one end is the Dolphinarium and a few meters away is the Batumi Zoo. On the same path there is a small amusement park with several rides. A great place for kids or for adults to sit and relax when it's less crowded. In the early mornings there are many people fishing along the banks of the lake and crazy street dogs jumping in the lake and then chasing each other (and you) up and down the path. If you're in the area it's nice place to visit.

Loong beach. The water was a bit cold but it is still May. Do not be afraid of the medusas , there are many but they are harmless. Gorgeous sunsets. Not five stars as it not a sandy beach . It was clean though.

The best place for sunset. Just roaming around and soaking in should be considered as an activity. My husband and I had the best time in Batumi. Although people keep just 1 day for Batumi, we spent another day which was a hit.
Kritika S — Google review
A decent beach, and the water is still relatively warm even in late september. It is rocky unfortunately, and the close proximity to the docks makes the water seem unhygienic. Still a lovely place for a good long walk.
Matthew U — Google review
The beach is very extensive and follows the city's entire coastline, covered entirely by pebbles (rounded stones). In July, the Black Sea water was clean and had a very pleasant temperature, great for swimming. The main highlight is the urbanized boardwalk, part of the Batumi Boulevard, which is wide and modern. It features a dedicated lane for bicycles, separated from the pedestrian walking area, making it very safe and organized. Access to the beach is free.
Luana B — Google review
Marhaba 👋 While Batumi may be renowned for its long, sandy beaches that draw tourists from around the world, the city's lesser-known rocky coastline offers a strikingly different - yet equally captivating - seaside experience. Stretching for miles along the Black Sea, these rugged, pebble-strewn shores provide a dramatic contrast to the typical beach getaway, inviting visitors to explore a more raw, untamed side of Batumi's natural beauty. Unlike the wide, manicured beaches further north, Batumi's rocky coastline is characterized by a series of small coves and inlets, each with its own unique personality. Jagged boulders and smooth, rounded stones line the water's edge, creating a textured, almost lunar-like landscape that begs to be explored. The surf crashes forcefully against these unyielding rocks, producing a soothing, rhythmic soundtrack that instantly transports visitors to a more primal, elemental state of being. For those seeking a more peaceful, contemplative beach experience, Batumi's rocky shores are an absolute revelation. Gone are the crowds, the loud music, and the ubiquitous beach umbrellas - in their place, a serene, almost meditative atmosphere that invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and simply connect with the raw power of nature. Solitary beachgoers can be found scattered across the pebbles, lost in their own thoughts as they gaze out at the horizon. Yet the rocky beaches also offer ample opportunities for adventure and exploration. Adventurous visitors can clamber across the boulders, discovering hidden tide pools and unique marine life in the nooks and crannies. The smooth, wave-worn stones also provide the perfect surface for skipping stones - a beloved local pastime that can keep both children and adults entertained for hours. While Batumi's sandy stretches may offer the quintessential beach vacation experience, it is the city's rugged, rocky coastline that truly speaks to the adventurous spirit. Here, one can disconnect from the stresses of daily life and immerse themselves in the timeless, elemental beauty of the Black Sea shore. For those willing to step off the beaten path, Batumi's rocky beaches offer a profoundly rewarding and unforgettable encounter with the natural world.

This cathedral, built in 1897, is one of the most beautiful and spiritual temples in the Caucasus. It possesses a unique neo-Gothic style and three spires. The church is now an orthodox temple and attracts visitors with its beautiful stained glass windows.
Beautiful church with tainted glass panels in Batumi. haven't seen any other church in Georgia with such nice decorated glass panels. Will visit again. Not a famous tourist spot, just visited by people who want to pray.
Bhutwala R — Google review
The Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God stands as the principal cathedral of the Diocese of Batumi and Lazeti. Originally erected as a Roman Catholic Church at the dawn of the 20th century, it was generously funded by the renowned Zubalashvilebi brothers. During the Soviet era, the temple was confiscated by the government and repurposed as an archive, later serving as a high-voltage laboratory. Following Georgia's independence in 1991, the Cathedral was returned to the Georgian Orthodox Church. Constructed as a three-aisled basilica with an elongated pentagonal apse, the cathedral sits atop a raised foundation along the west-east axis. Flanking the altar on either side are single-story square chambers symbolizing Christendom. Two lofty bell towers adorn the west facade. Adorning the interior are vibrant murals depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments on the walls, with the four Evangelists depicted beneath the cupola and the twelve Apostles above the candlesticks. Atop the altar, a colorful fresco of the Coronation of the Holy Mother graces the upper level, accompanied by portraits of various saints, including St. Nicholas and the Popes of Rome. Of particular significance are the wall paintings depicting scenes from the life and Passion of Christ. The mosaic floor beneath the main entrance gate bears the construction dates 1897-1903. Adorned with special stones that change color depending on the weather, the Holy Mother Cathedral exudes an air of mystery, adding to its allure and grandeur.
Mo A — Google review
An imposing building, although with the trees, can only be seen close-up. Interior is beautiful and with the calm, quiet, peaceful feeling of a place of worship. The frescoes and of course the strained glass windows are beautiful. Long trousers are required for men, but there are shawls and a cloths to cover legs or shoulders as required by the dress code.

Holy Mother Virgin Nativity Cathedral is the largest church in the Batumi area, and it’s definitely worth a visit. The building is beautiful, with impressive architecture and peaceful surroundings. Inside, you can feel the calm atmosphere and see how important it is to the local community. It’s also a great place to observe local life, as many residents come here to pray or light candles. A meaningful and authentic stop while exploring Batumi
Ramez S — Google review
If you're going to visit one church in Georgia it should be this one. It is absolutely beautiful. Just remember that there is a dress code in most churches in Georgia (no shorts and tank tops, also women should wear headscarf, men should leave their hats).
Eda — Google review
The Holy Mother Virgin Nativity Cathedral is a breathtaking vision of Neo-Gothic architecture, a rare style that distinguishes it from Georgia’s traditional domed churches. Originally commissioned by the Zubalashvili brothers as a Catholic church (1898-1903), its beauty lies in its magnificent European design. The façade is dominated by towering twin spires, rising elegantly above the city. Inside, the true splendor unfolds. The high, vaulted ceilings create an expansive, reverent atmosphere, while massive stained-glass windows — a key Gothic feature— flood the sanctuary with kaleidoscopic light. This vibrant glow illuminates the intricate Orthodox frescoes that now adorn the walls, symbolizing the peaceful merge of East and West within this resilient structure. It is a place of profound peace, offering visitors a unique blend of architectural grandeur and spiritual tranquility on the Black Sea coast.

When visiting Batumi, be sure to include Neptune Fountain in your itinerary. This monumental fountain is situated at the heart of Theater Square and features a gilded statue of Neptune surrounded by four mermaids. The sculpture is inspired by the original Fountain of Neptune in Bologna, Italy, and is a remarkable sight to behold. The attention to detail in replicating this iconic fountain makes it a must-see attraction in Batumi.
Beautiful... Around benches to sit a bit and rest!
Mkhitar G — Google review
Nice place to take a seat on a bench and get away from whatever activity. The fountain statuary is very detailed, kept clean, but unfortunately it is not often activated
Luc T — Google review
Very nice fountain located in a public square next to Batumi theater in the heart of the city. The fountain Installed in 2010, it replaced the earlier monument to the Georgian writer Ilia Chavchavadze, which was subsequently moved behind the theater. The fountain is a replica of the famed Fountain of Neptune located in Bologna, Italy. The Batumi version mirrors the Italian masterpiece—including the central deity surrounded by mythological figures—but with its own local flair. In 2011, the Neptune’s statue and heraldic shields that stand in the center of the fountain were covered with gold.
Abdulrahman Q — Google review
⛲ Neptune Fountain - Batumi’s golden icon on a sunny October morning near the Drama Theatre. 👉 Previous visit: 1. Location & Access The fountain is in Theater Square, right in front of the Batumi Drama Theater. Easy to reach by walking from Europe Square or by minibus (routes 1, 1a, or 10). Parking is available nearby. 2. Design & History Built in 2010, this fountain shows Neptune (the Roman sea god) standing tall on a pedestal. Around him are four mermaids with water flowing from their chests. Some locals found the design too bold, but it definitely catches attention. In 2011, parts of the statue were covered in gold, making it shine even more. 3. Atmosphere & Surroundings The square is small but cozy. You’ll find benches, trees, and beautiful buildings around. It’s a good spot to rest, take photos, or enjoy the view. The nearby Drama Theater is also worth a look—especially if you enjoy architecture or live performances. 4. Best Time to Visit Daytime is great for photos, but the area can get hot under direct sun. Evening visits are cooler and more relaxed. The fountain is not musical or color-lit, so it’s more about the sculpture than a show. 5. Nearby Food & Attractions Lots of cafés and restaurants are close by. Try local khachapuri or grab coffee at Chocolatte Coffee Room or Heart of Batumi. Europe Square, Batumi Boulevard, and the Astronomical Clock are all within walking distance. 6. Final Thoughts It’s not a must-see, but it’s a nice stop if you’re exploring central Batumi. Good for quick photos and a short break. The Neptune Fountain in Batumi is one of the city's most visually captivating landmarks, located right in front of the Drama Theatre. Inspired by the famous fountain in Rome, it features a golden statue of Neptune, the Roman god of the sea, surrounded by mythological figures. It’s also one of the best photo spots in the city — don’t forget to stop by and snap a picture while exploring Batumi. The fountain's elegant design and artistic details make it a charming highlight of the city center.

Nice place to see. You can later visit the Europe Square near by. From Tripadvisor: The statue of Neptune was put up in front of Batumi Drama Theater in 2010. The monument consists of 5 fragments. In the center there is located the statue of Neptune on a pedestal. The statue is surrounded by a fountain representing 4 figures of mermaids.

Small and sweet. You need about an hour to see everything and the staff is accommodating. We were lucky and came on a International Day, so it was free. I recommend you ask for Khatia Dundua if you want any information she speaks good English and is highly positive and energetic.

Okay for a small regional museum. Surprisingly, they have a Neanderthal skull and a complete lack of Neolithic findings. As if there have been no people at all between the ice and bronze ages. The museum staff was also not able to explain the gap.

Cheap aquarium (4GEL) but nothing special to see. Lot of fish are the same across different aquariums. Some of them were even dead 😂 water in reservoirs is sometimes little bit dirty and it’s hard to see through water.
Vik S — Google review
Pretty small, only one room. Not very clean and no toilet, theres a paid public bathroom across the street in the park though. Staff wasnt very friendly, fish were nice enough.
Jakub D — Google review
The fish were stunning, they have some lovely species. However, the conditions for the creatures were pretty bad, their habitat setups weren't great, the aquariums are very dirty and there were leaks everywhere. Overall, the pond with koi fish by the entrance was better than the actual paid experience.

Not worth even one lari, dont go there. Ticket 4 lari, you will see few fishes but the aquariums are not big enough for them. It is sad to Look at this poor Animals.

Nestled on the Turkish-Georgian border, Sarpi Beach is a serene coastal haven offering a peaceful escape from urban bustle. The beach boasts pristine sandy shores and clear waters, making it an ideal destination for relaxation and leisure. Surrounded by lush green mountains, this picturesque retreat provides a tranquil setting for visitors to unwind. Unlike the bustling Batumi, Sarpi Beach offers a quieter atmosphere with ample lounge chairs and food shacks along its expansive coastline.
The huge round stones are so great, they hurt your feet if you walk over them, but otherwise make the beach perfect because there's no annoying sand, no wet sand. The beach is perfect!

Quiet beach. 30 minutes from Batumi. Small stones. Day bed 5 Larry, umbrella 5 Larry. Clean. Cross the road a lot of shops and several cafe. Unfortunately it was stormy sea, but the view was amazing.
Anna B — Google review
I came on vacation with my parents. Looking for a place to swim in Batumi, the best option was this beach. Since Batumi beach is polluted! So... Sapri beach. The best beach in Batumi - don't make me laugh. Located on the border, on the literal border with Turkey! A lot of cars standing in traffic to cross the border, rumbling, dirt, rusty nails, sticks scattered all over the beach, a pile of garbage. It's like it's not a beach, it's a dump! Disappointment, anger and humiliation are the only emotions! Comments that praise this beach is an exaggeration, bots, or people who have gone through this torment, want others to suffer!

Michal P — Google review
A more quite pebble beach right near the border to Türkiye. Unfortunately there is a lot of truck traffic here due to the proximity of the border. This also makes parking a little more tricky. The beach is not bad but slightly more trash around than Batumi. If you are looking for an escape from the Batumi traffic, then you may enjoy a small stroll here. It's not very long. You can walk to the end in 10m.

When I showed him the sign on the door "Open" and another sign in front of the building, that the museum is open everyday till 6 p.m., he showed on his mobile phone, that he was not entitled to let anyone in and sorry. So this museum is formally open but closed in fact. Useless place, you will waste your time.

Absolutely not recommended. Theoretically a nice place. But. I was attacked in broad daylight while trying to cross the bike road on a pedestrian crossing. A minor got out of his rented electrical vehicle and physically attacked me in front of my family and 10 witnesses. They rent the electrical carts to anybody and nobody cares if the person is minor and can drive at all. No police officer showed up within next 45 minutes. Enjoy at own risk, i will never come back to this "safe" city

Low season; minus a star due to the attendant on top who insisted that each 2 person group ride together. I would agree except we were the only 4 people in line waiting to go down. No one else in line. Everyone rides upwith just 2 people cuz demand is low. Anyway, great views especially in pm with sunset & minimum clouds. - We did manage it to go down by ourself, as we just waited with smiles.

Amazing! we had a great time passing over Batumi both ways. There is a cafe with indoor and outdoor seatings. In my opinion, indoor seating is cooler and permits better viewing. Also few gift shops you see once you go out of the cable car. Remember the photo they took from you at the bottom station?, this is where they print it out for 30 Lari. Not bad considering the beautiful memory it will hold. You can access the area below the cafe for additional breath taking scenery I do not know if tourists would come to the place by car but I think they might be missing a lot when they do not go on the cable car.

Beautiful waterfall, very small and it’s not that wild, the path is constructed and it feels less like a natural experience. In summer there is much less water and during the winter it’s more interesting. Some write you can swim there but it’s very small and there isn’t much space there so you would be like in a zoo while everyone watches how you sit there half naked 😂 Also it’s not that deep there either. It doesn’t feel like you went into a wild but it’s a nice spot if you are passing by

Movie theater
Cinema Apollo, located at Memed Abashidze Ave 17, is one of the most striking buildings in Batumi. It stands out as the city's only operational cinema and is managed by Kinoafisha. The theater offers screenings in Georgian, Russian, and English languages. Despite being over a century old, the cinema lacks proper maintenance but exudes an old-fashioned charm. While it has limited snack options and outdated interiors, it remains a unique experience for moviegoers.
Every year, I am attending BIAFF - arthouse Film Festival held in September, in Batumi. Here u can watch new films, meet foreign and local movie representatives and enjoy the city

Average cinema with quite small and only one hall. The sound is also a bit harsh compared to modern cinema . But it's the only Batumi movie theatre and everything is in English so good enough.
Dmitrii P — Google review
Really good theatre in Batumi, since there's only one currently. Fantastic seating, we can see the head of the person sitting in front of us clearly, without any hesitation. The sound system is amazing, they're even giving us an option to guess the dialogues. The screen is their highlight, low brightness and less visibility helps us to reduce eye strain while showing high light exposure scenes. The only bad thing about the theatre is snacks, they're too pricey for local people 🙁
Akshay S — Google review
Definitely one of the worst screen quality I’ve seen in a movie theater. Low contrast, low brightness, blurry screen. I entered the theater auditorium and within 5 minutes I was completely sure it was not how one should experience Dune 2. The stuff was nice about it and gave me a refund. Cheers to them. They also helped me to find my AirPods case 🙂

Nice cinema. Only one hall and not too big, however its quite fine.
Giorgi K — Google review
They rarely show movies in English in what is know as "the tourist city". The quality of their 3D movies are not great; all their movies are displayed darker than they should be. The seats are also very uncomfortable. it really needs an upgrade
Barri-Ann G — Google review
Old, broken, and highly uncomfortable chairs, the screen is small and dark, sound sistem is horrible. This movie theater hasn't been renovated for decades. It is small and smelly, and everything is worn out.Even Popcorn is bad. They charge a lot of money for tickets and are not willing to spend anything on the movie theater itself. Won't be going back there until it's renovated.
Nana T — Google review
The only cinema in the city. Can't say anything bad about it. If you buy tickets online on a 3d movie, don't forget to purchase 3d glasses at the box office (or take yours with you). upd: The men bathroom has only three cabins two of which are without locks. That's a minus star and a warning to all coming to the cinema.

The Batumi Art & Musical Centre has recently undergone a renovation, giving it a lovely interior despite its somewhat unusual exterior. It's located near the railway station and offers beautiful decorations and comfortable seating, making it perfect for enjoying plays and musical performances. Visitors have enjoyed events such as ballet graduations, concerts, exhibitions, and theater shows at this venue by the Black Sea. Whether you're there to see a performance or simply admire the building itself, it's definitely worth a visit.
A beautiful looking building which fits the topic of being an art center! It is at the beginning of Batumi next to the railway station, it could receive a little makeover but it is still worth looking at!

Batumi City Zoo is a charming and free zoo located in the center of Batumi. It features various animals such as monkeys, birds, parrots, ponies, zebras, goats, and rabbits. Visitors can enjoy watching the animals in cages as well as in aviaries where they have more freedom to move around. One unique experience is being able to feed the animals by hand in some enclosures. Despite being a small zoo, it offers an enjoyable experience for kids and families.
Found this while walking by the lake and was wondering why there were random zebras in the middle of the city lol. Very charming and nice that there is a free zoo for people to enjoy. It says a lot that the animals (at least the ungulates) are friendly and like to come up to the fence when they see people. Georgian kids seem very gentle and well behaved with them.
Kristine H — Google review
They keep a baby bear on slippery tile floor (they slipped a few times per minute) , completely alone. No greenery, tiny cell, it’s a really heartbreaking to see. Same situation with other animals, they are kept completely isolated in tiny cells

Nice place to stroll around , entry was free , not many animals or birds , but interesting for the kids . The whole area is well maintained
Abdul V — Google review
Was walking thru 6 May Park and took the left path and was in the zoo. Saw monkeys, baboons, zebra, Shetland ponies and a deer. I guess it's a decent zoo for people that never leave their region. The USA has private zoos with more exhabits. Some of the exhabits were overgrown with grass. They might have held animals.
G L — Google review
I'll be honest, I felt really sad walking through here, the monkeys look incredibly lonely and depressed. I couldn't stay long, it made me quite emotional to see them in captivity and so unhappy. Not really a place I would encourage you to visit, and you can tell owners do not care because half of the cages are empty.
Dale D — Google review
Disgusting place where animals are neglected. We even saw a dead cat stuck between two cages and couldn’t find someone that works there to notify. This place should be shut down and the animals sent to a facility with a shred of dignity.
Jay B — Google review
Not well maintained. Many cages empty. Not many animals. During our visit the only highlight was a bear cub. Better charge for entrance but develop it to higher standards.
Alik G — Google review
Horrible place to visit!!! Don’t come here. All of the animals are locked in small cages and some of them are looking very sad. Even the bunny’s don’t get any space they are locked with 10 in one small cage making it horrible to look at. It says that it’s well maintained but when looking closely it was just disgusting. These animals don’t look happy and don’t have the proper space to move around. Even though it’s free don’t go!!

Performing arts theater
The Batumi Summer Theater, completed in 1952, is a prime example of the city's old architecture and holds great significance for Georgian literature. It houses the Ilia Chavchavadze State Theater and hosts plays and dance performances during the summer months. The wooden building is well-located and offers an amazing 'Fire of Georgian Dance' show. Visitors can experience professional Georgian singing and dancing while gaining unforgettable memories about Georgia's spirit.
Overall, it was honestly a great and intriguing experience. The shows were fascinating and totally worth the ticket price. It was smooth entering the theatre but I wish the ventilation was better and the seats were better cushioned. The amount fo diverse and fun dances made up for all of that and more in my opinion.
Kamel J — Google review
Batumi Summer Theater is a cultural gem located in the heart of Batumi, Georgia, offering a unique blend of artistic performances and architectural beauty. Nestled amidst the vibrant seaside park, this open-air venue is a testament to the city’s dedication to fostering arts and entertainment. Batumi Summer Theater 1. Beautiful Architecture The theater is a stunning wooden building with colorful carved designs. It looks very different from the modern buildings around it and feels special. Great place for photos. 2. Great Location It’s right on Batumi Boulevard, close to the sea and surrounded by gardens. Easy to find and perfect for a walk before or after a show. 3. Cultural Events During summer, the theater hosts concerts, plays, and festivals. If you visit in season, you might catch a live performance. It’s lively and full of energy. 4. History and Rebirth The original theater was built in 1949 but burned down in 2001. Locals helped rebuild it in 2013. The new version keeps the old charm but adds modern touches like more windows and better seating. 5. Comfort and Space The theater now fits over 1,000 people. Even on hot days, it stays cool inside thanks to smart design. Seats are comfortable, and the view of the stage is good from most places. 6. Good for All Ages Families, couples, and solo travelers can all enjoy it. It’s quiet during the day and exciting at night when events happen. 7. Tips for Visitors - Check the schedule before you go—some events are free, others need tickets. - Arrive early for good seats. - Bring a camera—the building and gardens are very photogenic. 8. Final Thoughts Whether you love culture or just want a peaceful spot to relax, the Batumi Summer Theater is worth a visit. It’s a mix of history, art, and local pride.

Horrible organizing skills. Nothing ever starts in time, is waiting outside for the concert to start for half an hour and nobody has any idea and nobody is telling us anything, manager has no clue what she’s doing. Services like Soviet times. When they open the door and let us in at last, the sound was so horrible and performance so bad that we couldn’t stay more than 20 minutes. On May 23, 2025, I visited this casino. There was no entrance fee, but a passport was required for entry. Upon presenting the passport, my name was registered in the casino system, and I received a card for playing games as well as a gift card for online gaming on the casino’s website. The main card had to be topped up with money, while the gift card provided a $50 credit for online play. The casino had an engaging atmosphere, and the staff were highly professional and polite. Everything was well-organized and aesthetically pleasing. However, I recommend exercising great caution when gambling and setting a predefined loss limit in advance. good luck!

It was a very good casino overall. There was no entrance fee-just a simple ID check for registration. The interior was luxurious and beautifully designed. Upon entry, they gave you a card to load credit for playing. You could join poker games with other players with a minimum buy-in of $150, or simply watch if you preferred. However, the staff were not very professional. First, their English was poor, which made communication difficult. The front desk ladies, didn’t seem welcoming at all. They responded to my questions with unfriendly expressions and a dismissive attitude. Worse, when they saw my ID, they laughed and said something to each other in Georgian-which I couldn’t understand, but it felt quite disrespectful. On the bright side, the security staff were very friendly and professional, which helped balance the experience a bit.

We found the environment to be unwelcoming and didn't like the service. Left after 60min although we originally wanted to spend the day, due to the bad weather:( some feedback for improvement: - show timetable of approaching poker cash games (incl blinds) on the monitors. Due to the english level it makes not sense to actively engage the service personal for "complex" requests - increase ventilation - smells like an ash tray already in the early afternoon - If improving the English level is not possible: think about flagging the name tags of the service personal with the properly spoken language to redirect requests. (easier for customer and service) often done on fares - Actively engage Players who are visually unhappy and pro actively offer insentives (in Vegas/Monaco this is common sense) don't only connect it to the investment, don't wait for the customer request. Your service personal is supposably very observent of the players. While this is uncommon, at least use it.

We've been to this casino twice. The first time, when we asked for a cocktail and coffee, they brought us two times. We were there for five hours. Twice they actually brought us something, then ignored us. We went up to the bar and asked to bye something, but they refused! The second time, we came with a larger group, and I was completely sober. Five times! I asked for prosecco five times, and the security guard instead of drinking said we'd had enough. The service isn't subpar, THERE'S SIMPLY NO SERVICE THERE!
Alexandra M — Google review
One of the worst experiences I ever had. I know about "House always wins" rool, but this casino took the words a little far I believe. Foods and classic Georgian wine were paid for (!) you can have a toast or a fruit plate that takes over half an hour to come. The machines we played with swallowed our money in minutes, not normal for a casino. İf you are not someone with gambling problems, this is not fun at all. Every time we win a mini reward a couple of personal will start standing behind you in a weerd and uncomfortable way you loose the mini fun you had. We went to Billionaire Casino from there and were seriously sorry we didn't start there from the start. İt's an awful please, taking no one there again.
Dursun B — Google review
We visited Eclipse Casino in Batumi as two couples, and the experience was absolutely terrible. At the entrance, they demanded $100 from each person just to get in. In return, they gave us a so-called “chip” that had no actual value — it couldn’t be used for gambling, and we were told we had to deposit more money in order to play. This practice is completely dishonest and misleading. None of the other casinos in Batumi charge an entry fee, and certainly not in such a deceptive way. It felt like they were trying to take advantage of tourists rather than provide a fair and enjoyable experience. Batumi has plenty of great casinos with free entry and professional service. I strongly advise avoiding Eclipse Casino if you don’t want to waste money before even starting your night

I am here at the Sheraton for 5 days now. Been to the casino 3-4 times never more the 40 min. So I have to say my experience is different to what I read here in the comments: 1. I wasn't asked for any deposit when registering 2. No one looked at me in a weird way when winning 3. The dealers are all nice so far 4. No one black listed me so far 5. The only time I had an issue was on payment in the roulette but no one was rude, I insisted the dealer calculated wrong and they went to the camera, fixed it and apologised. I was patient and everything was as it should be which shows they treat players with respect. Maybe if I got angree and started shouting as some do I would have been treated differently and been kicked oit The only point I agree on is the reception . staff are somewhat rude and not welcoming . That's why I scored 4 stars. Still didn't try the restaurant or the bar service so I can't comment on that

Peace Casino Batumi is a deplorable stain on the gambling industry, operating with brazen contempt for fairness and an unmistakable intent to exploit its patrons. Its egregious practice of blacklisting players who achieve even modest success reveals a business model built on punishing winners and ensuring only losses are tolerated. My own experience, corroborated by countless testimonies from other victims, exposes Peace Casino Batumi as a predatory operation that lures players with false promises of entertainment, only to banish them the moment they dare to win. Even more infuriating is the question of how such a sham could secure a gambling license and operate without apparent regulatory scrutiny. After a brief period of success at their tables, I was abruptly informed that my account had been flagged and my access revoked. The sole reason? I had won. While my winnings were paid, Peace Casino Batumi’s swift move to blacklist me made it abundantly clear: this casino despises winners. Their system is meticulously designed to identify and eliminate anyone who disrupts their orchestrated cycle of losses. This is not a venue for fair play but a calculated trap that penalizes success with exclusion, ensuring players cannot continue enjoying their games after a win.The casino’s terms and conditions are a labyrinth of deliberately vague clauses, crafted to grant them unchecked authority to ban players at their discretion. Such practices are not only unethical but expose a business that views its customers as mere sources of profit to be discarded once they cease to lose. Their customer service, when questioned, offers nothing but evasive platitudes, underscoring their complete disregard for accountability. One cannot help but wonder how an establishment so blatantly exploitative could obtain a gambling license. What standards, if any, were applied to grant Peace Casino Batumi the authority to operate? The apparent lack of oversight is a scandal in itself, raising serious questions about whether regulatory bodies ever scrutinize such venues or simply rubber-stamp licenses for profit-driven enterprises that prey on players. This establishment’s hatred for winners is matched only by its greed. Every game, every interaction, every moment spent within its walls is engineered to maximize player losses while punishing any hint of success with banishment. Peace Casino Batumi does not exist to provide an enjoyable or equitable gaming experience; it exists to milk its patrons for every penny, tolerating them only as long as they lose. The fact that such a place operates under the guise of a licensed casino is an affront to the principles of fair gaming. Regulatory bodies must answer for allowing this predatory den to flourish unchecked, while players are left to suffer the consequences of their negligence. I urge anyone considering a visit to this so-called casino to reconsider. Your time, money, and trust deserve better than to be squandered in a place that thrives on betrayal and exclusion. Avoid Peace Casino Batumi at all costs—its name is a cruel mockery, offering neither peace nor fairness, only exploitation.

From the registration moment where they thought 400€ casino fees would be chasing us away with a particular arrogant behavioural , i particularly didn’t appreciate the comment that the lady behind the desk adressed to my wife to close her jacket because the Chanel top she was wearing that night was too transparent according to her appreciation. Just FYI, my wife was wearing roughly 25000€ outfit on her, and this is not counting the 36mm golden diamonds Rolex she was wearing on her wrist and her Diamond ring that i wont commit the non elegance to reveal it’s worth. Non elegancy at all, this is how i will describe my general impression, the rudesse of the staff literally astonished me that i had at certain point having the sensation to be at a military camp. Casino that wont fit definitely to refined and elegant person’s. To avoid it just.

Casino Iveria Batumi is located within the Radisson Blu Hotel and offers a wide range of popular games including slot machines, poker, roulette, and blackjack. It provides a premium entertainment experience in the heart of Batumi. The casino boasts pleasant interiors and excellent service, making it an ideal spot for both excitement and relaxation.
100 GEL for first time guests (even with a Georgian ID card)? First casino in my life that ever required an "entry fee". When they understood I've played in Tbilisi, I didn't have to pay. MAJOR quality drop-off from the Tbilisi location (which I'd rate 5 stars). Would expect Batumi to be the best 🤔

Totally disappointed in this iveria. Before we were playing in iveria Tbilisi 5 times - very nice staff, never count how much we drink, gave us beer and wine right from the bar not to wait. But in iveria Batumi they made us order only from the table, waiters were very slow, we were asking for drinks many times before get them and finally they told us - you can’t drink anymore, despite we played a lot. Manager was very rude. Completely disappointed and never go there again.

I used to go to this casino every week and recommended it to many of my friends in Batumi. But during one of my visits, the reception staff told me I’m in black list and could no longer visit this casino. I was very surprised, as I hadn't had any conflicts or rules violations, but the staff refused to give any reasons of this or even call a manager… I'm very disappointed with this situation and wouldn't recommend Iveria to anyone
Roman R — Google review
It was a horrible experience. They are very bad to foreigners . I ended up leaving cus the inspector was biased and very racist against foreigners . The n the manager came and apologized for his behavior but did nothing , he just smiled and said sorry what can I do . Never again . If I could give zero stars I would .

I had a very bad experience, I don't recommend anyone to come here!!!Here you can lose your finances for 365 days without anyone knowing. Here, as a rule, there is no expectation of sympathy...😎

Apart from the fact that it's a newly built casino with no smoke clouds, the tables are fantastic and the whole layout of the casino floor is super grand. The staff and management at Shangri LA casino were very hospitable and went over and beyond to ensure I had a great time. I wish I had photos to share.

was surprised it was possible to win the slots there, brought 100 lari in and exit with 2.5k lari. didnt have any issue cashing out you can get free cigarettes and drinks from the bar. i believe food is free too (didnt try, just saw a buffet there) smoke cloud wasnt too bad here (not a lot of ppl too), only con is no one playing at the tables on a Friday night min bet size for blackjack is $15. you need to change money for chips at the counter. for slots you can put cash in directly from the machine definitely a place worth coming back, just remember that casino is a place for entertainment, not a gold mine. you don't go to the cinema expecting to earn any money. only bring in money you are willing to lose

Casino is located in the centre of Batumi, nice atmosphere, great food and beverages. But very strange terms, we visited casino around 3-4 times, but the next time at the reception we were told that to get into the casino every person should pay as a deposit $100. When I asked how long these deposit will get me the opportunity to enter the casino, I was told that no one is aware of this information, this is just in the system and only the system will decide if the next time will be paid enter or not. So I took out money that I had on my casino card and left this casino.
Yevheniia P — Google review
Used to be a nice boutique casino in a convenient location. Then they hired a new slot manager who had failed at a larger casino. He drinks on duty and closes machines down for his friends. Better to go elsewhere. People smoking in the restaurant is another negative.
Stephen H — Google review
The employees are definitely rude and very uncultured. The middle-aged blonde lady in charge there shouts and raises her voice a lot. No players come there because of that lady. Very bad, even if the casino is luxurious, it has indifferent, uneducated and rude employees. I definitely do not recommend it. Absolutely do not play. I'm sure you won't enjoy it and it's a shame for the money you paid. It is the worst casino in Batumi that looks luxurious. I do not recommend. Please take me seriously. Quality players who play for high money should not leave. Fraudsters . Quality players should choose other casinos in Batumi. You will have big losses here. This is a casino that I would not recommend. Kind regards....

The Otium Casino, situated within the Marriott Courtyard Hotel in Batumi, offers a comprehensive gaming experience amidst the stunning scenery of the city. Renowned for its exceptional service and lively ambiance, it's a top choice for those seeking all-around entertainment. Visitors can enjoy a diverse selection of slots and table games while being treated to warm hospitality from the attentive staff. The casino is highly regarded for its excellent service and welcoming atmosphere, making it a standout destination in Batumi.
There’s no entrance fee, and the casino offers a great selection of open buffet food and a salad bar, with menu options available for picky eaters. The staff is hit-or-miss—some waitresses are attentive, while others could improve. The location is excellent; since we stayed in the same building, there was no need for a ride after drinks and a long night. There’s also no minimum betting limit, so you can play with any amount you top up on your card. The main downside is the heavy smoke in the air; better ventilation is definitely needed.

I had amazing time in the casino with the great staff that they have specially Lika and Malvina, Both of them made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. They have a great communication and good connection with the clients. I love this casino and I will be bringing my rich friends to play here.

Excellent Casino in Batumi. Excellent Service. Good Choice of Games. All staff welcomes you with a Smile. Food quality served above standards. Marketing Manager Ms. Nidhi was so helpful and kind. She helped us in getting vegetarian food with excellent quality Indian Tea. Overall an excellent place with good vibes. I visited 3 or 4 other casinos in batumi but concluded that this one is the best. Special Thanks to Maria ( Casino staff) and Ms Nidhi ( Marketing Manager) for their hospitality provided to us. I feel like flying back to that place very soon.

Nice casino. There’s no entrance fee. Upon arrival, you need to get registered. Once done, a very welcoming hostess showed us around, providing us with information about the games. You can play in USD. There are about 16 live game tables and a lot of slot machines. We decided to play blackjack - they ony have a single table - with automatic shuffle machine, the limit was 25-300$ per hand and you have to play at least 2 boxes. Ended up having good time, can definitely recommend:)
Michal Š — Google review
I recommend not playing there. They cheat at blackjack. I asked to play 3 hands and after the dealer dealt the cards, he called his manager who came and said that the game could not continue like this and that I needed to change my cards. He changed my cards and limited me to 2 hands, which means that the cards are arranged in their favor.

We went as a group of 4, we had a brilliant time and I won over 1000 Lari. Let me explain what the casino is like: - You walk in through security, you go to the reception and you are given two options. 1. Pay $100 USD for credit towards your play. Or 2. Pay 50 Lari to enter the premises and watch play. Obviously our party chose option 1. We went to the cashier desk and I added another $750, giving me a total of $850. I sat at the only operating blackjack table (which was never too busy during our 3 hours at the casino) and started to play. Table minimum before 11pm was $15 and after 11pm it was $25, but ask the pit boss and they can be flexible. Maximum bets for blackjack $200, minimum $15/25. There are free alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available, including cocktails. We had 5 each over 3 hours, and thought they were tasty and strong. The staff conversed with us well in English, and were very friendly when we asked questions about different aspects of the casino rules. Something to note about their Blackjack table, if you are the only player at the table, you must play 2 hands. This was unusual, but I didn’t mind too much. The casino paid out our winnings with no problems, I won over 1000 Lari more than I put in, and so I left very happy. My girlfriend didn’t enjoy the slots at first, but the staff quickly explained some things to her and she went back and she won a small jackpot of 240 Lari and she cashed out with a $60 profit including her initial $100 buy in. Another one of my group won $140 playing roulette, and the other member of the group lost her $100 playing both roulette and blackjack (unlucky). There is food in a buffet format at the back, but no alcohol is allowed in this room. Overall, I’d rate this casino a 8.5 / 10. Staff very friendly to English speakers. The premises was clean. Drinks were complimentary and strong. Location is great too! I would recommend this casino to others when visiting Batumi, especially English speakers. Thank you Otium for a lovely final evening in Batumi. I will be back soon. Kind regards, Tom Birchy.

⸻ I was kept waiting at the entrance for 10 minutes without any explanation. Only after I asked did they return my passport — I chose not to enter after that. Shame on you for treating guests this way, especially with such an expensive entry fee

We never ran out of glasses or cigarettes until the morning, and they always offered dried nuts and nuts at every table we visited. You can definitely feel right at home. By the way, I'm not a casino partner. I'm one of you who hasn't had this experience at the most luxurious casinos we've visited.
