The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in Richmond is a renowned destination featuring an extensive collection of trees and flowers from all over the world. Visitors can explore vast gardens, expansive greenhouses, and a treetop walkway. The gardens are home to rare and threatened plants housed in the largest Victorian glasshouse globally. Additionally, there are family-friendly exhibitions and events such as Kew the Music, a week-long music festival with acclaimed performers like Lewis Capaldi.
Spent a lovely few hours in Kew Gardens. Even in early October, many flowers in bloom. Colours were just starting to turn on the trees, lovely vistas everywhere, interesting conservatories. Nice lunch in in Orangery. Highly recommend a visit. Need a few hours.
Joanne F — Google review
The autumn colours at Kew are simply spectacular and worth the visit alone. The foliage was at its peak, and the landscape was incredibly beautiful. Do dress warmly though, as it gets cold in the late afternoon. One drawback for evening visitors: the shop closes considerably earlier than the advertised time. Staff began asking people to leave at 5:40 PM, and the shop was completely closed by 5:50 PM. So, if you're counting on buying gifts at the end of your trip, make sure you visit the shop with plenty of time to spare.

We visited here for the first time ever last weekend, despite our Daughter living in London. We bought tickets online so that upon arrival they were promptly scanned, no queue whatsoever. Where do I start, the gardens are stunning and the place is so vast. We walked around the perimeter path to start, then we walked everywhere, the large glass houses and conservatories are amazing, there is so much to see. Amenities are great, lots of choices for food, we ate at a Orangery restaurant in the grounds under the grape vines (al fresco dining) the food was amazing, where a main with drinks was only £66 for 3 adults. These gardens are predominantly wheelchair accessible too. We thoroughly enjoyed the Treetop Walkway (which has a lift and stairs) so pushchair users were also able to go up, the views were fantastic. The day was warm, so there were families enjoying picnics in the relaxing grounds. Prepare to sieve a whole day, and for the entrance fee considering this is London, we found the prices to be very reasonable indeed. There is just so much for the whole family. Facilities are extremely good too, with accessible toilets, changing places toilet, baby feeding room, baby change, shop, cafe, information, and water fountains throughout the gardens, there is also a prayer/reflections room, and finally a bus stop. Visiting is a must.

It is one of the most famous and important gardens in the world. It is a historic landscape garden in southwest London, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Charles Darwin’s contributed to Kew Gardens significantly, mainly because Kew houses a large part of the plant specimens he collected during his famous voyage aboard the HMS Beagle from 1831 to 1836. Around 450 of the approximately 1,400 plant specimens Darwin gathered are preserved at Kew, with these collections still actively studied and digitized. Great experience with really a lot of different impressions: - areas with plants from all over the world - treetop walkway Kew Gardens is renowned for its extraordinary glasshouses, which house diverse plant collections from across the globe. The key glasshouses include: - The Palm House: Built between 1844 and 1848, the Palm House is one of the most iconic Victorian glasshouses. It features a tropical rainforest environment and hosts many rare and endangered tropical plants, including the oldest potted plant in the world, - Temperate House: The largest Victorian glasshouse in the world, the Temperate House houses around 10,000 plants of 1,500 species from regions including Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and the Americas. - Water Lily House: Built in 1852 and designed by the same architect and ironmaker as the Palm House, the Water Lily House shelters aquatic plants including tropical water lilies. - King George III‘s house King George III’s house in Kew Gardens is known as Kew Palace, also called the Dutch House. Originally built in 1631 as a silk merchant’s mansion, it became the smallest royal palace and served as the summer home of King George III in the 18th century. George III and his wife Queen Charlotte spent many happy summers there with their large family. The palace and its gardens provided a private, intimate retreat from public life, where the king could live more normally without the usual royal ceremony. Really a great experience and you have to plan enough time - or even several visits.

My new favorite place in London. No matter the season, it’s always beautiful and full of life, with so much space to explore and unwind. My personal favorite is the Princess of Wales Conservatory, where you get to see stunning orchids and unusual plant species. It brought out my inner child who loves water, tropical fish, and that feeling of quiet wonder.

This is an amazing place you must visit if you like being outdoors. Let your children run in the park. And if you are interested in seeing up close some exotic plants you will be really surprised at the number of different plants. There are so many plans you can see so don’t miss the Lillypond and Princess Diane‘s cactus place. Visit the beehive or have a picnic in the picnic area.

Visited during bank holiday! Perfect weather! Blazing hot sun but that’s fine as there’s loads of places to find and hitch under shade. The park is well kept and looks fantastic. We must’ve walked around for 5-6 hours. The park is really amazing. I took a trolley with me loaded with blankets and food and stuff which was great as there’s no restrictions on that. The family and kids loved the day out here definitely will be back for Christmas lights!

Absolutely wonderful day out for the entire family, absolutely huge variety of plant life to enjoy! It's all extremely well looked after and all of the staff are so wonderful and well informed! Loads of toilets around and a nice selection of cafés to enjoy! If your deep in to your plants you could easily kill an entire day here!

Syon Park

Syon Park is a historic estate located near Kew Gardens, boasting vast landscaped grounds and a Grade I-listed building. It is the last surviving ducal residence in London, home to the Duke of Northumberland and encompassing 40 acres of beautiful gardens within 200 acres of parkland. The estate features the stunning Great Conservatory and offers an idyllic venue for weddings, accommodating intimate or extravagant celebrations.
The ticket for the garden entrance was about £15 and to me that was well worth it. The garden was beautiful. The conservatory match Kew Gardens for its beauty with a small lake to walk around. Another major plus is Syon park garden was very quiet and perfect if you want an outdoor space without the crowd.
Poom S — Google review
Syon Park has both public and private areas. The public side is good for walks, while the private section has nice views by the water and shady spots for picnics. I’ve taken my baby daughter there a few times, and it’s a peaceful place. The entrance fee is £6, which seems a bit high for a park, but the private area makes it worth it. I haven’t been to Syon House yet, but I think it costs around £13 to enter. Overall, Syon Park is a nice place to enjoy nature and spend time outside.

I had a great experience at Yon Park. The area is well-maintained, with clean walking paths and plenty of green space to relax or enjoy a picnic. There’s a peaceful atmosphere that makes it perfect for unwinding, and the park is family-friendly with enough space for kids to run around. I especially appreciated the shaded seating and how quiet it was compared to more crowded parks. My only reason for not giving five stars is that a few facilities could use some updates, like the restrooms and signage. Overall, though, it’s a lovely spot worth visiting!
Jasmine — Google review
Lovely small park/garden to walk around. Free garden entry for RHS members. It would cost £6 something to upgrade and see the house. The short walk takes about 45mins around the lake, with stops to see the outdoor photo exhibition. Plenty of benches around. When driving, use the new exit for a much quicker get away, as there are lots of road works going on there. Be patient with traffic coming to Syon Park!
Carmen L — Google review
Syon is a photographer’s dream! You can’t get much more light & airy than a glasshouse, and The Great Conservatory is a breathtaking example. The ceremony room, the library, the courtyard – the choice of backdrops was endless. Everything has such a luxurious, elegant feel!

Long stretched green field with Syon house and a huge Hillier Garden which is famous for outdoor garden equipment. Its lovely to view such a huge setup which sells everything garden. Syon House closes at 4:30 pm.

If you can't afford to pay the entry fee, there is interesting stuff to look at for free, such as history boards on historic buildings, the general shop, a garden centre, garden out~buildings for sale and a cafe with outside tables.
Star C — Google review
A lovely relaxing afternoon walking the gardens of Syon park. We firstly stopped to have tea and cake at the restaurant, which was very tasty. Unfortunately we didnt have alot of time to look around the Gardens but luckily we were still able to see most of it, as we only had 2 hours. I love the main bridge over looking the river, very picturesque, especially this time of year, coming out of summer into autumn, all the autumnal colours coming though. The building is stunning, love the ceiling and all the pillars and beautifully filled with flowers and tall plants. The other little part I loved was this particular tree further on in the park, it was a lovely little spot to relax, so I stay there for 10 minutes and did a bit of meditation, it was surrounded by a little rock pool but filled with moss. We will come again when we have more time and look around the garden centre and the food shops.

Lovely park to go for a walk picnic etc. They have toilets available. Great open green spaces, loads of trees, cafes, kiosk for snacks. Option to hire bikes. You have to pay for parking if not a member of National Trust. Trails are fun, and scenes are beautiful. Cows, horses, ducks, Swan, geese, etc.

We decided to come here for a nice little Sunday walk and had a beautiful day! While still in London, it really feels like you’re outside the city. Really couldn’t believe this was here! Lovely lakes and walking trails and great for dogs!

Osterley Park truly is a hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, parking was easy and stress free, and we were warmly welcomed by knowledgeable staff who made the history of the house come alive. The main entrance is stunning, with beautiful art and fascinating stories to discover throughout the rooms. Despite visiting on a rainy day, we still enjoyed wandering the gardens and pond, which added to the charm of the visit. We can’t wait to return in the summer to see the grounds in full bloom. A wonderful mix of history, art, and tranquillity… highly recommended.

Osterley Park is a beautiful green escape in West London. The grounds are expansive, peaceful, and perfect for walking, jogging, or just enjoying nature. The lake, gardens, and woodland trails are well kept and offer plenty of space for families, dog walkers, and anyone wanting fresh air away from the city rush. The historic house is also worth visiting – it’s full of character and gives a real glimpse into the past. The National Trust staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the café is a nice spot for tea and cake after a stroll. Parking is available, though it can get busy on weekends, so arriving early is a good idea. Overall, Osterley Park is a wonderful place to spend a few hours or even a whole day – a perfect mix of history, nature, and relaxation.

This is situated off a busy road from all sides. Parking is available but to members only it's free. There is usually on street parking outside the park on weekends and all other times extortionate prices. Excellent place to visit both from a natural and historical point of view. Lots of walkers, runners, dog walkers come here from early morning and throughout the day. I particularly liked the upkeep of the park, ponds and wildlife. You could spend all day spotting wildlife.

My best friend and I visited Syon Lounge and we were treated to highest level of customer service by all the staff. The food was spectacular, the music was nostalgic. I would highly recommend the venue as a place in West London that is oozing unparalled sophisticated style, great energy and hospitality at its finest. I'd like to specifically mention Raj the manager who went way above and beyond to ensure we had the most enjoyable experience. Look forward to my next visit. From Kamilla and Devi.

Pub
Beer garden
Coach & Horses is a historic pub dating back to 1897, known for its cozy living room-style ambiance, complete with upholstered furniture and a futuristic glass conservatory. The pub has been mentioned in history books as a resting place for explorers and their horses. Despite being refurbished, it maintains its retro interior charm. The outside terrace offers ample seating, while the food and beer are both of high quality.
I wanted to get a Sunday roast while visiting the UK and this pub was fairly close by. I looked at a variety of local pubs and noted that this pub had very good reviews. The pub is set on a main road in a generally quiet leafy suburban area. It has good bus routes served by the 235 and 237 which were easy to catch from where I was staying. We arrived around midday for the reservation I had made on the website, we were expected and I grabbed a pint of bitter and were guided to our table. All the staff we had interaction with were first class! I definitely recommend the Young's London Original pale ale (bitter) especially with the roast. The pub has multiple areas to sit in, from near the bar, the patio, high tables and a more formal area towards the back. I was really impressed with the pub overall. Loved the styling and vibe. The food was also very good! Veggies and the beef complemented one another and the quality and flavor were very good. The pale ale really complemented the food. I really would recommend coming here for food and a few pints!

Very lovely pub in the neighborhood. Old building with its own history, became a place for colleagues to meet and chat after work. About life and other stuff :) I like the atmosphere here, in golden hours of British early autumn. Close to Heathrow, so it is easy to observe all kinds of jets landing in London. Parking is available for guests.

Came in here for a pint knowing there is a huge beer garden on a stifling hot day. The first you’re greeted with is the bar so naturally you order a drink. The garden is pretty much completely empty too. Happy days? So you’d think. Upon trying to go out to the beer garden a quite acerbic female blonde member of staff (probably thinks she’s some sort of manager but not doing a good job of it) barked at us that we can’t use the garden unless we’re part of the private function. No signs anywhere at the entrance or by the garden at all and the bar staff happy to sell you drinks in a stifling hot pub and not tell you outside is closed. To note, the function had half the inside booked out and supposedly the whole garden and barely had enough people to fill about 20 places! It was about 1900 in the evening and the function had mostly dispersed and we only stayed for a short time due to the issues. There are literally several empty tables outside. The lady was so rude and unhelpful, coupled with bar staff who just want to take your money rather than be helpful and advise that outside is closed when it 32 degrees! The bar staff also seemed to lack motivation and any care for the customer and lacked in any sort of hospitality skills, without a thank you when serving you. They need to remember all drinks cost the same money to all people regardless of whether they’re part of a booked party or not. Tables were filthy too and glasses not cleared away, despite some staff milling around doing nothing. The pub is horribly uncomfortable too on a hot summer’s day inside, along with being dark and dingy. Avoid this place like the plague. Drinks were overpriced too - £11 for a pint of Estrella and bottle of Coke - absolute daylight robbery especially for the area. The Coke bottle was sticky and off the shelf, not from the fridge. Thankfully the Six Bells down the road were kind, helpful and had outside space to offer with cheaper drinks as was the Rising Sun. Planning to follow up with Young’s about the multiple issues here and won’t be back. Most of the reviews are insincere too as is common with Young’s pubs and have vague detail and staff names - no one introduced themselves in person that’s for sure!

Used to go here for drinks with local school teachers a long long time ago, much nicer than i remember, great spot for summer afternoon drinks and the tree in the garden looks great. Food was very good too, highly recommend.

Our family absolutely loves visiting this pub for lunch or dinner, and it has quickly become one of our favorite spots. The food is consistently outstanding—fresh, delicious, and always exceeding expectations. Over the years, I’ve enjoyed a variety of seasonal dishes, and the creativity and quality of the menu keep us coming back for more. The pub itself has a stunning interior design that creates a cozy, inviting atmosphere. It’s both aesthetically pleasing and incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax or even get some work done. I’ve occasionally used it as a working space, and the peaceful vibe, great coffee, and reliable Wi-Fi make it an excellent spot to focus outside the home. The staff are wonderful—friendly, attentive, and always ready to make your visit enjoyable. What’s even better is how inclusive the pub is; it’s both kid-friendly and dog-friendly, which makes it an ideal choice for families. I’ve also seen many parties, celebrations, and events hosted here, and they always seem to go off beautifully. I feel so lucky to have such a fantastic place right in my neighborhood! If you’re looking for great food, a welcoming vibe, and a space where you can relax, celebrate, or even get some work done, this pub is a must-visit.

Turkish restaurant
Galata Pera is a Turkish restaurant that serves delicious Mediterranean and European cuisine. They have an outdoor seating area and are wheelchair accessible. They accept credit cards and have table service.
One of the best mixed grills I have had. Huge portions and very generous with the meat. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the smokiness coming from the kitchen. Staff were very friendly and accommodating for birthdays (we had a dessert and a handwritten note given to us!). Definitely would return!
Jessica L — Google review
After reading the reviews we decided to try Galata Pera and what a disappointing experience it was. Cold mezze to share was quite generous but of poor quality from bought-in tubs, huge olives hard and tasteless. When the main courses were served one was missing! The chips were very dark (re-fried), without salt (no salt cruet on the table) and served with the cheapest thin ketchup. The corn of the cob looked nicely chargrilled but it was clear it had been boiled before taking away all its flavour. We had to chase the staff to correct the mistake and then wait long time for the food which ruined our experience. The chicken was overcooked and chewy, the lamb kofta dry and tasteless. Second fries were fresh but without any salt. The manager “checked” on us but didn’t apologise. To our insult, the bill had a “service” charge added. It’s not about the £8 but the principle and unprofessionalism of thinking such a charge was earned! Never again.

It was our first time in a Turkish restaurant and we will be back! Welcoming staff (to include the chef) and an easy going atmosphere. As for the food? Well let’s just say that we left there stuffed! Amazing presentation and amazing taste! The Turkish wine and beer were delicious too! Get out of your comfort zone, grab your significant other and friends, and let your mouth experience a disco of taste!! We will return!

I visited Galata Pera in Brentford (near Kew Bridge) as a Malaysian traveler looking for a good meal — and it turned out to be an amazing surprise. I ordered the lamb rib BBQ, and it was simply outstanding. The grilling technique was world-class — beautifully charred on the outside, juicy and tender inside, with a perfect smoky aroma that shows true mastery of the grill. Every bite was full of flavour and care. This isn’t anything like Malaysian food — it’s completely different — but that’s what made it so good. The flavours were pure Mediterranean, bold yet balanced, and the lamb was cooked to perfection. The restaurant had a warm, relaxed atmosphere, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. Everything from the service to the presentation showed pride and passion for good food. Galata Pera is a must-visit in the Brentford / Kew Bridge area for anyone who loves expertly grilled meat and great hospitality. A five-star experience — I’ll definitely come back again!
Trifendy S — Google review
Lovely outdoor spot on the river, especially when the sun is shining. While the mixed starter looked great (with plenty of bread), the ingredients were typical ‘catering pack’ quality with cheap olives and run-of-the-mill humus. Once our mains had arrived (after a mess up with the order and a 20+ minute delay), we found the chicken on the dry side. Chips OK (the second time around) but cheap ketchup poor. The service element of this visit was beyond poor, and with the exception of a ‘sorry’ muttered under the manager’s breath, little was done to make things better… and they still added a service charge. Wouldn’t recommend - there are far better Mediterranean restaurants out there, albeit not in the backwater that is Brentford.

Amazing food and great service! The mixed grill was delicious and portions were very generous. Lovely riverside setting and a really cozy atmosphere. Definitely coming back!

Delicious as always! This is my top choice for delivery food. Since I work at the airport, I rarely visit the restaurant because I like to avoid crowds on my days off. However, it's always a pleasure to dine there when I do get the chance. Thank you!

The food was nice but not worth the price nice, my lamb was a little dry and my mother’s stuffed aubergine was a little flavourless. I would say I’ve had the same quality of food at restaurants much cheaper. But, service was generally good and interior was clean enough.

This eatery, stumbled upon unexpectedly while in the vicinity with a companion, offers delectable Lebanese cuisine. The interior resembles a museum adorned with stunning artwork throughout. The falafel, surpassing any previously tasted outside of the Middle East, is exceptional. The hummus is superb and the mixed grill is delightful. The service is attentive and prompt, ensuring a satisfying dining experience. A return visit to this highly recommended establishment is guaranteed due to its excellent value for money.
Incredible Meal Served by Rocke Every bite was a burst of flavor and passion. Rocke’s attention to detail and presentation made the meal unforgettable. Simply one of the best dining experiences I’ve had—thank you, Rocke!

Used to love this place before I went travelling — the lamb chops came with loads of salad and were great value. Just came back and was really disappointed. Paid £26/27 for tiny chops with barely any meat, about 10 chips, and a few sad bits of veg (even a lettuce stalk). Staff ignored us while chatting with a friend even after the food was ready. Service and quality have really gone downhill.

Ordered 4 fish and chips and it came socked in oil and very dry and burnt and oily and stale ! Terrible first and last time from this place very bad Does not look like the picture they advertised showing fish fish fries in batter this looked frozen deep fried in oil over cooked even left over from the night before with bad smell/ not fresh

I ordered K2 combo special mix via uber eats and has to be the worst taste kebab I have tasted in a long time. Cold pita bread with old dry salad at the bottom and cardboard tasting bland meat on top without a hint of sauce. Wouldn’t go near this place again!!
A A — Google review
I'm really sorry, I am not one to write bad reviews but what the hell has happened to this place. This used to be best place for kebabs hands down, their kebab wrap used to be the best thing I've ever tasted. This was around maybe 10 years ago and me and my family used to order from here atleast once a month. I've ordered twice again from this place and it has been a major downgrade. Even our local chippy seems to put more flavour in their kebabs. Their salad selection is pathetic compared to 10 years ago and their kebab meat is tasteless. And their prices do not reflect the quality of product you receive. My previous(and most certainly last) order I got from their shop was a "king-sized" kebab wrap which is anything but king-sized, and the taste was disappointing. Some cold chips that resembled and tasted of cardboard and also some buffalo wings that looked like they had better days. To be honest the wings taste was not bad but they were dry and small so even the taste could not save it. These are all pictured. You may think it's my camera that makes them look lifeless but alas that is pretty much what they looked like in real life. Please, what ever you have changed with your ingredients and the way you make/do things. Change it back. You were easily the BEST place to get food 10 years ago, now all I can suggest is avoid this place.

The stadium is impressive, and while drinks and food are a bit overpriced, that’s to be expected. The seats are comfortable, though legroom is limited, so you often find yourself getting up as people pass by. Despite this, the stadium is very well organized for its size. Overall, we had a fantastic time!

We attended the Argentina Vs Springbok game at Allianz Twickenham Stadium. The atmosphere was electric, the stadium was appropriately staffed, well maintained and everything was well organised. We had a fantastic day and would definitely book another event there. Using Just Park, we were able to find brilliant parking just 6 minutes walk away.

Absolutely amazing stadium. First time visiting for The Big Summer Kick Off. It was an amazing day out! Although, our team didn't win, it didn't dampen our visit! Being such a big stadium we thought we would struggle to find our way around, we had no issues whatsoever and found our seats really easily. Very easy to get to, friendly staff, great shop and all round great place. We will definitely visit again.

⭐⭐⭐ Treaty Shopping Centre in Hounslow is decent for a quick visit. It has a fair mix of stores and essentials, but it could use some upgrades and better variety. Cleanliness and overall atmosphere are just okay, and it can feel a bit dated. Convenient location, but not a place you’d spend too much time in.

Interesting Aladdin's Cave for it is situated inside the center with shops bursting with goods. There are watches and jewelry, plants, clothes, kids stuff and food courts as well. Best place to while away a leisurely day especially if it's a cold and rainy day outside.
Anuja A — Google review
Shops are decent but really not impressed with the lack of inclusivity for disabled people. We tried to go to where the food court used to be and we had a Down syndrome lady with us who couldn’t use the escalator (also not very useful when you have a push chair too) and no even at or to get down easier.

This is so sad. I remember this place in the 80s and 90s when it was full of good stores, had a nice library, and tourist information centre. The Paul Robeson theatre used to be on the top floor. It was a thriving place full of people, and activity. Now there are hardly any stores left in there, such a shame, but it seems to reflect the overall decline and demise of this country.

There’s a range of smaller well maintained trails that come off the main trail. The heath has lots of history and wildlife, look carefully and you’ll spot them. Children's farm
Hounslow Urban Farm, located on Faggs Road in Feltham, is recognized as one of London's largest community farms. Covering 29 acres, the farm is home to a diverse range of domestic and exotic animals such as pigs, rabbits, ducks, alpacas, peacocks, snakes, and Thai water dragons. Visitors can enjoy close interaction with the animals through daily activities like owl-flying displays and animal handling sessions.
This place is fantastic! The staff is super friendly,, and the place has a great vibe. The animals are well looked after, and you can even feed some of them. They also have a fabulous show where you can see and touch different animals, like reptiles. Plus, there's an amazing soft play area! Plenty of parking.

Lovely little farm, a good range of animals, from small to big! The farm animals are all so gentle and you can buy a bag of food to feed them just for £1. Lots to do here with kids! Rides and soft play! We didn't eat here but there is a small tea room. Lots of parking and good area! Right next to Heathrow which we liked but not ideal for everyone as it is noisy! Only thing that we didn't like was the small animals birds etc aren't in very good conditions..
Molly F — Google review
Hounslow Urban Farm offers a charming escape for families looking to connect with nature without venturing too far from the city. While the selection of food options and animals may be somewhat limited, the overall experience remains enjoyable. The farm features a quaint atmosphere, nice for kids to explore and learn about various animals in a hands-on environment. The accessibility is a significant plus, with ample parking available, making it convenient for families to visit. The entrance fee is also quite reasonable, adding to the overall appeal as a budget-friendly outing. Although the range of food choices could be expanded, the quality of what's available is satisfactory for a casual day out. The friendly staff enhances the experience, always ready to answer questions and engage with visitors. In summary, Hounslow Urban Farm is a good spot for families, offering a unique opportunity to interact with some animals and enjoy a leisurely day in a peaceful setting. With a bit more variety in food and animal exhibits, it could easily earn a five-star rating, but it’s still well worth a visit for an enjoyable family day out.

Me and my boyfriend went here for a fun day out on a weekday, not busy at all. We paid £8 each so pretty good pricing. We bought some feed also (£1 per bag) to feed some goats and sheep! Used to go here as a kid so it was nice to visit again as an adult 🤣 Very adorable animals including some exquisite looking owls. We attended a talk with 4 young keepers who were very knowledgeable about the animals they were showing. We were even able to hold the animals which was an incredible experience. I recommend this place for all ages!

A great fun day out! We were so lucky to go when we did, it was the summer ☀️ party for kids, swimming pool and foam party in full swing. The farm is so lovely, lots of feeding the animals which is so fun. They also had a animal enclosure experience going on, which was amazing, my husband and I really enjoyed it, it gave boy the confidence to see and handle different animals, my husband had a snake 🐍 around his arms, I held a turtle (which I have never done) we also took the chance to hold insects, he may only be 2 but it shows him not to be afraid. A great experience! We had a bite to eat for lunch, all hand made, it was the best tuna cheese toastie ive never had. I'd go back just for that alone..lol Food reasonably priced, kids lunch meal deal too and staff were lovely and full of fun. So many things here to enjoy, a great day out.

It was so fun!!! We got to visit animals and stroke them too. We visited a show at 3:30pm where we touched the exotic animals and then we got to join in the lamb feeding at 4:30pm too (tickets needed for this though). There are so many animals and the alpacas happen to love taking selfies with visitors.

Ham House and Garden is a grand 17th-century mansion located in London, known for its extensive art and furniture collection as well as mature riverside gardens. Originally built by Sir Thomas Vavasour in 1610, the mansion was a hub for political activities during the Stuart dynasty. It served as a battleground for courtiers vying for influence and power, showcasing the material wealth of the time through its impressive collection of original furnishings and textiles.
Outstandingly beautiful. Lots of rooms to look with interesting history and the staff there to talk to you about it. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I received my tickets free from a newspaper promotion and whilst the price is a bit steep, this national trust in particular is probably worth. Gardens were interesting and nicely kept. Had some food and coffee at the cafe too which was just average.

Fascinating House that sheds light on the life of significant Royalists of the 17th century. has thoughtfully designed gardens as well. Definitely worth a visit and a walk down the Thames Path. An extremely well-kept mansion with a fascinating past and exquisite architectural details. It would be more enjoyable if you were familiar with UK history. Excellent outdoor chairs for sunbathing.
Babji V — Google review
The gardens and walking paths are beautiful. However, quite a few rooms were closed to visitors. Given how much is currently accessible, the entrance fee feels rather steep unless you're a member. Outside the main grounds, there are pleasant walks along the River Thames, with moored boats and even horses nearby accessible without ticket.
P H — Google review
A fascinating historical building surrounded by extensive grounds. As the house didn't open until 12, we had plenty of time to walk round the grounds. The house was extremely interesting and I particularly enjoyed the below stairs rooms, including the bathroom! There is a cafe and shop on site, but we didn't use these. Parking was easy as there was free parking along the road ( disabled parking closer to the house ) and a free car park within easy walking distance. The River Thames is not far from the car park and also worth visiting for a walk or even to pop across to Marble Hill on the ferry.
Stephanie C — Google review
A substantial Stuart period pile built and lived in by a family with far more money than taste. Prepared to change sides and do whatever was necessary to stay on top as owners and adorn Ham House with overly elaborate furniture and many portraits of ancestors with dubious morals. Interesting garden with wonderful topiary parterre. Beautifully preserved by the National Trust and well worth seeing as a historical experience.

Burger King, a well-known fast-food eatery that specializes in grilled burgers, fries, and shakes, is praised for its exceptional service and unbelievably delicious food. The entire order was served hot and with remarkable speed. Anand, an employee deserving of recognition, went above and beyond to provide friendly and polite service while recommending the best burger to try. This reviewer is not one to typically write reviews but was genuinely impressed by the outstanding service and high-quality food at Burger King.
Excellent service, the food was just amazing very tasty. Everything was hot, and the it was done very quickly. Shoutout to Anand that served me, he was very kind and polite and suggested us the best burger to try. My friend had a triple Royale and Anand was very happy in satisfying our request.

By far , the slowest fast food restaurant I have visited. I ordered my good at 13.58 and received it at 14.16. There were 3 staff members working, at snail pace.. we waited in the queue for so long that I ended made friends in the ever growing queue. The customer before me found a hair in their food, which is no surprise as none of the three ladies working were not wearing hairnets and had hair as long as the length of their back. Seriously ! Someone needs to ask what there are not wearing hairnets or even a hat !! How dare I asked for mayo and as it's not available. I mean come on this Burger king ! Lastly, I don't think the staff were rude however there is a serious lack of customer service skills amongst the team. I don't go to burger king much , but heard great things and wanted to try the new Vegan whopper. I don't think I will be coming back not because of the food but the service I received. Clearly why McDonalds is way better ..... I will never cheat on you again. I'm sorry

I dont normally write bad reviews but really and truly. Do not go to this Burger King. Staff are rude and inconsistent. Even my friends have had bad experiences with the manager of this establishment. Heck most of the time the tills are empty. As I'm writing this I'm overseeing this Burger King establishment, it's a shame because I actually like burger king personally I would say save yourself the stress instead I reccomend chopstix instead. The picture showcases the lack of employees at midday. Thiswas taken at 11:55 on Wednesday the 2nd of October.

After over 7 years of retail work and customer interactions myself this place is one of the worst if not the worst one in terms of customer service. The blond lady gives you a stare like she’s fed up with her job, making you feel uncomfortable to even approach her, slow in taking the orders, usually forgetting your order as she has to ask over and over again what order you had, never asking you if you would like any sauce or any tissues whatsoever. Totally unhappy with this place and definitely not coming back even though the food tastes good enough.
Cristi O — Google review
Worst Burger King I have EVER been to! The food was disgusting, cold and that bad we binned all but the chips. I eat out a lot and spent over £30 here. I have the BK app and showed the shift manager the code I have which said if I buy a regular meal I get a whooper for free, she charged me for all three meals and kids meal then said that I need to pay for another meal to get that meal, basically she was incredibly confused by me presenting one voucher code at the start of the order. She created a scene and left me to one side without sorting it and apologies to other customers and served them then come back to me, I explained the app and the code but she still misunderstood the app and after a good 10 min of going back and forth she decided to refund me for one of my meals! This is actually not what I wanted, I just wanted her to process the app meal which entitled me to one free whooper meal but I gave up explaining and knew I was getting no where, I accepted the refund and also accepted I was not getting a meal. The staff were incredibly difficult to communicate with and can't even process a simple voucher from the app, they are rude and need further training on their customer service skills. But as I said earlier, I dodged a bullet by not getting a meal for my self as my kids and wife where seriously unimpressed and slung all their meals apart from chips in the bin. Avoid this place, it's slow paced, poor quality and a head ache. Specially if you have a BK app, they do not process or scan it anything, even when paying for the meal I asked if I could scan my app they said they don't have the machine. They are in their own little world in the treaty centre. I will say this is not the same in any other BK so don't be put off going to any other branch.

Super Singh’s gets it right every time. The food is always full of flavour, consistent, fresh, and properly satisfying. But it’s the people that make it special. The owner and staff treat you like you’re a guest in their home, genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being over the top. It’s rare to find that kind of hospitality these days. Whether it’s your first visit or your fifth, the vibe stays the same, quality food, great service, and a team that really cares. A proper go-to spot.

Super Singh's pizza 🍕 is a place for Vegitarian. It's 100% pure veg. Resturant. Great test. Wide range of the Vegitarian menu. Chilli paneer Pizza 🍕 Must try. Masala Chips was awesome.

Great place and very different food. Western cuisine with Asian tinge. If you want to try continental food in dhaba style them this is the place. And very much approachable on route to Heathrow airport.

Love this restaurant because they have so many vegan options! Even though just eat takes forever to actually deliver the food still tastes great after I need to microwave it! When I have called for updates at the restaurant or had any questions they have always answered quickly and been very helpful! Thankyou!

Wow, what a great little place! Everything is vegetarian, the vast majority of the menu is vegan too, and the menu is very clearly marked. I had Hawaiian pizza with faux ham and vegan cheese and it was SO good. The ham actually tasted and had the texture of ham, the cheese wasnt sickly creamy, the pizza base was doughy without being too thick, just amazing. I ate in but you can also get takeaway and deliveries. I'm sad I'm not local as I'd be here all the time otherwise! Staff were also friendly, and the environment is simple and informal. Loved it, highly recommend!

Came here with family for a quick lunch snack a few days ago, the food tasted all nice (maybe a little pricey but I guess it’s normal now considering inflation !). The service was ok, had to wait around 5/10 mns as there was no one at the counter, the lady eventually came and took our order. I ordered the vegan lemon & herb lollypop, it actually tasted amazing and was probably the best thing I ate from here so far! There was an option to sit outside but it didn’t seem so clean due to spiders and spiderwebs everywhere so we just decided to eat indoors. Overall, was an ok experience could defo come down here again if I’m in the area one time for a quick lunch. 👍🏼

Staines Fish & Chip Shop is a beloved local spot that has been serving up delicious fish and chips for years. Visitors and locals alike rave about the flaky cod, perfectly crispy batter, and excellent chips. The staff are known for their friendly service, with customers praising their attention to detail and impeccable customer care. Everything is cooked to order, ensuring that each meal is fresh and piping hot.
Has some awesome fish and chips here! Was visiting from the US and had a hankering for some fish and chips from a proper chippy. This place fit the bill, a real local place that’s been here for years. The staff were very good. Ruby helped me and was excellent, food was packed well and piping hot. The food was excellent! The cod was flaky just as I used to have. Batter on the fish was particularly good. Chips were also excellent and I feel the price was good for the amount received. 100% recommend.

I live local and have started getting fish and chips here. It's my third time and I love how everything is cooked while you wait so everything is fresh. The ladies who run the place are absolutely lovely and the service was impeccable. I would absolutely recommend. They treat their customers extremely well. Amazing.

This place use to be good. But went last week and it has really gone bad. The cod is tiny, the size of frozen fish from Tesco and the oil tastes very bad. The chips were OK. The chap also under changed me £5 initially.

Indian restaurant
Memories of India Osterley is a stunning Indian restaurant that stands out not just in Isleworth but across London. With its stylish yet simple decor, the ambiance creates a perfect setting for an enjoyable dining experience. The menu boasts a delightful array of authentic dishes, all prepared with fresh ingredients and traditional spices. During my recent visit, I was impressed by the flavorful chicken tikka masala and warm naan bread that complemented the meal beautifully.
Memories of India A Hidden Jewel in Osterley with Heart, Heritage, and Flavour There are restaurants that serve good food, and then there are restaurants that feel like home. Memories of India in Osterley is firmly in the latter category a place where warmth, generosity, and culinary excellence come together in a setting that feels as though it was made for families, friends, and long, laughter-filled meals. From the outside, it’s elegant and understated. But the moment you step through the door, there’s an immediate shift like being welcomed into someone’s living room. The ambience is calm, inviting, and full of charm, with soft lighting, tasteful Indian décor, and the gentle hum of conversation creating a sense of ease that’s hard to find elsewhere. But what truly sets Memories of India apart is the people. The staff here don’t just serve you they host you. There’s a genuine attentiveness to the service: warm greetings, thoughtful recommendations, and an unfussy flow that makes everything feel natural. It’s clear that this is a family-run restaurant in spirit, if not in name because every guest is treated like one of their own. And the food? Outstanding. Each dish carries a depth of flavour that speaks to tradition, care, and a refusal to cut corners. The butter chicken is rich and velvety, with perfectly balanced spice and a slight sweetness that makes it endlessly comforting. The lamb rogan josh is another standout tender meat in a robust, aromatic sauce that tastes like it’s been slow-cooked with love. Vegetarian options are just as strong: the tarka daal is silky and spiced with precision, while the paneer tikka charred just right melts in the mouth. Their naan is pillowy and freshly made, ideal for mopping up every last drop of curry, and the rice is always perfectly cooked fluffy, fragrant, never overlooked. What’s special about Memories of India is that the experience lingers long after the last bite. It’s the kind of place that restores your faith in hospitality. Where nothing feels rushed, every dish is crafted with intent, and the atmosphere invites you to sit back, slow down, and savour. If you’re anywhere near Osterley and haven’t yet been go. Whether it's a quiet dinner, a family celebration, or a comforting solo visit after a long week, Memories of India offers something rare: a place where food, service, and heart come together in perfect harmony.

We ordered salmon main as a starter and it was a total disappointment, 3 small pieces of salmon hardly worth 16.95. For main among various dishes the butter chicken and mushroom did well ordered were soaked in the same sauce which was not to taste. Overall we were very disappointed. Won’t be going back anytime soon!

Great restaurant with lovely decor and fantastic Indian food. Nice to sit outside in front. Also two min walk from Osterley Park grounds.

The restaurant ambience is nice and welcoming. The Indian hand crafted doors placed around the restaurant brings a very nice touch to the decor. The staffs were reasonably courteous to host us. I ordered chicken chaat, king prawn puri and Murgh Seek kebab for starters, except for the kebabs rest of the starters tasted very good. The kebabs lack flavour and they are not served with right punchy sauce to dip in as well. For main course I ordered the Seabass tandoori, and chicken balti.I was told sea bass would be seasoned with spice , however it wasn't thoroughly seasoned. Also de-boning the whole Seabass was a bit of an hassel, my kid got a fish bone stuck in her throat as well for a brief amount of time. I would have preferred a deboned fillet then the whole Seabass ,as the experience of taking one bone after another was very exhausting. I wouldn't order this again here .Tandoori are generally marinated to absorb flavour, however here the tandoori fish felt like it wasn't marinated for long as it lacked flavour in it.Overall experience was mediocre, not something I would rave to another friend.

Great food and atmosphere. Really good decorations with nice authentic touches around the restaurant. The staff were helpful explaining dishes too.

We visited the restaurant on Saturday evening, 6 adults and 2 children. We ordered poppadoms for starters and main courses. The poppadoms were very crispy and tasty - the lime pickle and salad were particularly nice. The main courses were mainly chicken based - there isn't a massive selection of dishes that we were normally used too - no "Rogan Josh" or "Makani" or "Dopiaza" or "Fahl" or "Naga" dishes, but what we had were overall tasty. The staff were okay but I felt had very poor memories, for example we had to ask for spare glass, plate and bill many times over before they eventually came. (I had to get up and goto the bar to get the glass myself in the end). I was visiting my friends for the weekend, and would probably visit the restaurant again as it was quite cosy and tastefully decorated. We ordered a couple of side dishes also - bindi baghi and Tarka Dahl. The bill came to 167 pounds excluding tip.

I ordered as a main a mixed vegetable stir fry that was supposed to arrive served in a wok with potatoes and tomatoes amongst other vegetables. What arrived was a tiny side order of vegetables with no potatoes or tomatoes and was not in wok but on a small side order plate. I told the staff member who tried to give me a spiel saying it wasn't tomatoes but a tomato sauce and when I asked about potatoes, he said yes there is potatoes chopped up. It was clear as day there was no potatoes in this tiny dish so I pushed it further saying there are no potatoes here. He then said he'll bring it back to the kitchen. 5 minutes later he came back with some potatoes and tomatoes included but it still wasn't served in a wok. At this point, I gave up and just accepted it despite the fact that what I had essentially been served was a side of veg and not a main course. At no point did the manager apologise but continued to try and bluff me about what I had ordered. Will definitely not be going again.
