Perfectly located just after the security gates in Terminal 5, Gordon Ramsay Plane Food is a great stop for a proper meal before your flight. We had the fish and chips and lobster linguine, as the rest of the menu wasn’t halal — and both dishes were absolutely delicious. Flavourful, fresh, and served in very generous portions. The setting is stylish yet relaxed, and the location is ideal for travellers looking to unwind right after security. A great experience overall and well worth a visit if you’re passing through Heathrow!

The food is great Indian food, pints are great for London - they don't rip you off like the rest of the bars around this place. This is the reason we keep going back. The male toilet is a bit dirty and the seating outside can be a little dirty too but the food is great.

🚇 Kew Bridge 🍺 £6.30 London Pilsner The City Barge is located on the banks of the Thames in Chiswick, and is one of four pubs that line this stretch of the river. The nearest station is Kew Bridge. The City Barge claims origins from 1484, which would make it one of the oldest pubs in London. This pub was originally called the Navigators Arms it later became the Bohemia Head and the City Navigation Barge. The City Barge name comes from an old barge that was once moored between here and Oliver's Island, as a toll collection vessel. The pub is famous among Beatles fans as one of the locations in the movie Help! This is a one-bar pub that is split-level and has a country pub feel. Much of the space is given over to dining, especially the sunken room, which features a fireplace, flagstone floor, and curved stone steps. Directly in front of the servery are a number of tables for those just here for a beer. Upstairs is a private dining room with sturdy herringbone tables. There are two outside spaces: one at the back by the car park, and of course, the riverside terrace, which is the best place to be. This Greene King pub offers a decent selection of beers, which included some local London brews and three cask ales. I decided on a Portobello London Pilsner; my pint hit the spot, and the price was around average. The food menu offers classic British pub grub; Fish & Chips costs £19, and roasts are available on Sundays. I arrived around 2:30 pm on a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon in May. The atmosphere inside was very chilled and laid-back, as the majority of punters were enjoying the sun and the views outside overlooking the river. The service was excellent; the team here were upbeat, welcoming, and friendly. The @citybargew4 was a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Absolutely love this place! There’s nothing else like this around here. Great to pop into for a coffee and cake during the day with a warm, cosy and friendly atmosphere. Equally lovely in the evening for cocktails and tapas. The staff are always friendly and helpful. What a great asset to Hounslow! ☺️

A nice place to grab a bite to eat when traveling. The staff was very welcoming, and were confident in their task and role. I was always given very good information and good follow-up. The menu for both food and drinks was well laid out, and had a variety of different things to choose from. Both food and drinks were well in line with the prices, and what you would expect at a busy airport. Will most likely come back here on my next visit to the airport

Great experience here. The are very cognizant of allergies and while allergens are marked on the menu they have a separate menu where you can search based on contamination on a little tablet. It's quite useful and really nice. Did you not have a separate fryer for gluten-free. I had the gluten-free English breakfast with gluten-free toast and a smoothie. Super happy with the quality considering the breakfast I'd been having at the hotel the past week was barely edible. Yummy yummy 🤤!!

As a local guide, I was impressed by this spot. The service was top-notch, staff friendly, and my order arrived swiftly. I ordered Margarita Pizza. That sourdough? Pure magic. I skipped a drink, but the cocktails I saw looked tempting. Prices were fair compared to other airport eateries. Left happy—long live this gem!

Arranged to meet with friends on a wet June Saturday afternoon / evening so may explain why bit quieter than usual. Had the little room at the top of the pub to ourselves which has a great view over the River Thames and railway bridge keeping the young children in our party entertained plus we had a dog with us. Very attentive service (calling out Kelly and Richard); decent choice of typical pub fayre on the menu plus nice selection of specials including a tasty grilled hake with new potatoes and asparagus; good selection of beers (including alcohol-free).

We came to Slug&Lettuce for our anniversary&engagement party to have bottomless brunch with friends. Louise was amazing and really attentive! Best waitress i’ve ever had. Great experience for our first bottomless brunch and definitely will be coming back!! <3

Had a fantastic Sunday roast here with my family. Martin went out of his way to settle us into a great corner table, and our waitress was brilliant with the kids — patient, warm, and genuinely accommodating. The whole team struck the perfect balance of friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Food was spot-on: generous portions, perfectly cooked roast beef, crisp potatoes, and a Yorkshire pudding the size of a crown. The riverside setting under the glass roof just sealed the deal. Couldn’t ask for a better family Sunday.

Visited around noon on a sunny Saturday, and I have to say, this place really impressed me. Pros: - There’s plenty of space, both indoors and out, and it wasn’t crowded at all despite the good weather. - The terrace wraps around the pub, front, back, and side,each area offering a different vibe and view. - Inside, it’s big and open. You don’t feel cramped at all. - I’m not even a big football fan, but there was a match on when I was there. The many screens scattered around make it a great place to catch a game if that’s your thing. - The rooftop terrace is a real highlight, views of the Thames on one side, the bridge on another, and some modern buildings behind. Again, each angle gives you a unique atmosphere. - Beer selection is decent, most of the well-known choices are there. Cons: - Honestly, nothing major comes to mind. I didn’t try the food this time, so can’t comment on that yet. Summary: I’ve been to a lot of pubs around London, and this one definitely makes it into my top 10. Even though I don’t live nearby, it’s absolutely worth the trip back.

Really enjoyed my meal here. The cherry lemonade mocktail was a standout — full of flavour and really refreshing. Service was friendly and attentive throughout. Staff checked in at the right moments and were quick to top up water without being asked, which didn’t go unnoticed.

What a pleasant surprise to discover this gem. Inviting deco, charming garden on a sunny day and the steak and ale pie was well made even though the cabbage was blanched but not char-grilled as written on the menu. Prices are reasonable compared to Richmond.

Food was absolutely lovely and staff is very friendly. Would recommend for small or large groups or families going. Not much wating time but it was not busy so I really can't be the judge on that. Has a dart board and toilet facilities. There is parking which is free as long as you register in the pub.

Venturing into this Nepalese eatery, we were immediately drawn to the momos, and they did not disappoint. We opted for both the tandoor chicken momos and the deep-fried chicken momos. The tandoor momos, generously coated in a flavorful tandoor sauce, were a delightful fusion of textures and spices. The deep-fried momos, on the other hand, offered a satisfying crunch that complemented the accompanying sauce perfectly. With approximately ten momos per plate, the value for money was exceptional. We also sampled the Kathmandu house curry, which, while not a personal favorite in terms of flavor intensity, still possessed a pleasant blend of spices and paired wonderfully with the garlic naan. A single portion proved ample for two, especially when accompanied by other dishes. For drinks, we chose the mango lassi, a refreshing choice, though a wider selection of lassi flavors would have been appreciated. A slight disappointment was the absence of hot drinks on the menu. The restaurant's ambiance was tranquil, particularly as we arrived at noon on a Saturday. The interior, adorned with captivating posters of Nepalese landmarks, exuded a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Soft ambient music played in the background, creating a pleasant dining environment without being intrusive. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering dish recommendations and ensuring a pleasant experience. The dining area was impeccably clean. Parking was conveniently available nearby, adjacent to Quality Foods, and the restaurant's proximity to bus stops made it easily accessible via public transportation. I would definitely come back to try other items on the menu.

Il Bebo’s Italian Restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with its authentic and flavorful dishes. The spaghetti was a standout, cooked to perfection with a rich, savoury sauce that tasted homemade. They use high-quality ingredients, as each bite is full of bold, balanced flavors. The tiramisu was equally impressive – easily one of the best I’ve had. It was light, creamy, and had just the right hint of espresso, making for a perfect dessert. If you’re looking for a great Italian meal, Il Bebo’s is a must-visit!

The Fox on Green Lane in Hanwell is a real star! A beautiful rambling building with an equally rambling garden. Plenty of keg beers and ciders on offer along with four real ales on my visit. A stove in a brick fireplace to make it just as warm and welcoming in the colder months. Great service and great beer, all is well with the world. Well worth a visit!

Had a full meal at The Royal Oak in Twickenham and was genuinely impressed. The food was excellent, especially the meat - packed with flavour, tender and clearly high quality. Portions were generous, and everything was cooked properly. Service was spot on, they even made a custom cocktail for me! Relaxed atmosphere in the afternoon. Top of the list for me when it comes to local places.Highly recommend. ✅

Very nice local pub in a quieter part of London. There are actually a few listed building pubs in this area. Very cozy inside with a nice beer garden out back. Had a fairly extensive menu for food. We just had some chili fries which were good, we were told they mainly did table service for ordering when I had gone up to the bar. Staff were nice. Building is worth a visit if you want to get a sense of an older country side pub but remain within a more suburban area. Beer menu was not large … I ended up with London Pride since it's a Fullers pub. If I was again in the local area I may stop again. I think it would be rather cozy in winter on a cold day!

We ate here yesterday and was blown away by portion size and authentic flavours. Menu is extensive and food was awesome. We were only people in (funny time and football on) but service was brilliant! Ordered way too much but they simply packed us a goody bag and can’t wait for lunch today!

Perfect portions for 3 teens and 2 adults. Plenty of swapping around with moist chicken, big prawns and fresh veggies. Served when ready so hot and fresh!! Su (our waitress) was just wonderful. Friendly and helpful service.

The location by the river adds charm, and the outdoor space is a perfect spot to unwind on warm days. This pub is a hidden gem, ideal for family gatherings or meetings where the most important thing is spending quality time together, without rushing or distractions. Highly recommended!

For brunch or for lunch, this is definitely the place to munch. Staff are warm and friendly, and are helpful to anything you need. The decor inside is modern, beautiful and serene. Chairs were comfy, although next time, we'll try and get the sofas. The food was tasty, flavoursome and beautifully presented, especially the French Brioche. And avocado and halloumi brioche was superbly done, and the cappuccino was ace. You pay at the till first, which is great if you're with friends and no awkward bill splitting. Overall a great experience.

Teatro Hall is a beautiful venue — the interior design really stands out and makes you feel special the moment you walk in. It’s definitely one of those places where the atmosphere adds to the experience. The food is delicious, no complaints there! However, it is on the pricier side — for two people, we ended up paying over £40+ for everything. So while it’s a great place, it’s more of a treat than a regular hangout. I’d say it’s nice to go once or twice a month. I want to give a big shoutout (and virtual flowers 💐) to Rimsha, an amazing staff member who truly made our visit unforgettable. Her warmth and attentiveness elevated the whole experience — thank you! One small suggestion: the drinks menu could use an update. There was no Coca-Cola available, didn’t have prices listed, which can be a bit confusing when ordering. Overall, a great spot in Ealing for a classy meal and great service!

Excellent Desi pub with hefty, tasty portions. It’s a bit out of a way from the main road and about 15 mins walk from the station. Parking is a bit iffy too. But the food is fantastic. Inexpensive. Generous portions. Good flavours. Giant naans. Ginormous mixed grills. Great for a big group. Pints and drinks are reasonably priced. Great service.

I recently visited this pub with a friend and we decided to have lunch. I decided to have the rack of ribs and my friend had the fish and chips. The food was delicious made from fresh, quality ingredients and really big portion size’s. Definitely well worth the money. The service was excellent, with attentive staff who went out of their way to ensure we were satisfied at all times. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting and a local business well worth supporting. We ate lunch at the White Hart yesterday with our good friends who are here from New Zealand. Fabulous old pub, excellent food, cocktails, decor & friendly staff. Best espresso martini I’ve tasted in a long time. We spent 4 hours eating, drinking & lots of talking.

This has been my go-to place for a Sunday roast (as well as occasional visits on other days) for the last few years now and it never fails! The menu is always enticing, the food always delicious and it always feels welcoming. Last year, as I was spending Christmas on my own in London, I chose The Grove for my Christmas dinner too, and it was a genuine delight. The only gripe I do have is that, as my mobility has diminished, I mostly use a wheeled frame to walk with now. Although the pub does have a wheelchair-accessible door at the side, it is very often locked and trying to attract the bartender’s attention from outside can be difficult. I quite often visit on my own so don’t usually have someone with me who can go in and either unlock it from the inside or ask staff to do it. It would be really useful if you could put a doorbell / buzzer there so I can alert the team that I need access.

I Had a brunch today at the Chiswick Fire Station restaurant with my wife, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely excellent, with a delightful menu that offered great variety at very reasonable prices. The atmosphere was lovely, though I must mention it was slightly chilly due to the high ceilings of the spacious salon—something you might expect in such an expansive setting. However, this did not detract from our enjoyment. Staff; they were all smiles and incredibly welcoming, adding to the overall positive vibe of the place. We had such a wonderful time that we are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great brunch spot!

I had a fantastic experience at The Pilot in Chiswick. A big thank you to Sarah, Jude and Luke for their excellent service and for making a superb cappuccino and hot chocolate. The attention to detail and friendly atmosphere really stood out. The pub itself is beautifully decorated, warm and inviting, with a cosy homely feel that makes it a perfect place to unwind. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to others.

Profession purpose built outdoor wood extension cabin, with thick waterproof hard-wearing blue material walls, internally heated with both floor seated blowers and ceiling mounted electric heat lamps placed strategically around the cabin to make perfect use of convection physics. Large quantity of 2 gang sockets and large 55" led driven televisions showing numerous sports related games. Staff were great, food was great, very busy on game and other Twickenham event days. Live music.

I was at Bulstrode for a private engagement party in their garden facilities. Great atmosphere. The food brought out was buffet food but the sheekh kebabs, wings and chicken tikka were amazing. Fully stocked bar and friendly bar staff. I want to go back and try the other food on the menu. Small but free parking area. Just tell the staff and they will register your car.

While food and coffee quality is crtical for a café, it's also the service of smiling helpful staff that makes all the difference between a great or mediocre visit. The Post Room was a great experience for me, at the end of a long journey and early start to the day.

Amazing Thai food - I’m Asian myself and yes…this is the real deal in terms of taste and variety. Chicken wings and Pad Thai out of this world! I also love the duck spicy rice, delicious and lovely people too!

We used Phil’s services for my 50th birthday party at our home. From the start Phil was very helpful and always replied promptly to my messages. Nearer the date we spoke on the phone to confirm the cocktails etc and Phil sent a great list of what we needed to purchase and the quantities. On the night Michael and Tim arrived on time, set up for hour and then we had two hours of the most amazing cocktails, they were very professional but also very friendly with all the guests. They cleared up as best they could afterwards. Overall I could not fault anything, everyone loved it, perfect and highly, highly recommended :)

Ravina is absolutely brilliant. I honestly do not like going to anywhere else for my treatments especially eyebrows. She is always so accommodating and very professional at all times. She always goes above and beyond to make sure that you have a good experience at her salon. She is super friendly and makes a real effort with her customers. . She is brilliant at what she does.

Very nice coffee shop located in the middle of the park, next to the Tower. We went there yesterday and they were playing very relaxing music which made our walk even more enjoyable :)
