Modern European restaurant
Gordon Ramsay Plane Food at London Heathrow Airport is a stylish restaurant and bar offering superior dining with airport views. The open kitchen allows guests to observe their food being prepared, adding to the unique experience. The restaurant also features a separate cocktail bar and ample seating with fantastic runway views. While some dishes received mixed reviews, such as the sea bass being perfectly cooked but underwhelming in presentation, the Caesar salad stands out as a delicious highlight.
Perfectly located just after the security gates in Terminal 5, Gordon Ramsay Plane Food is a great stop for a proper meal before your flight. We had the fish and chips and lobster linguine, as the rest of the menu wasn’t halal — and both dishes were absolutely delicious. Flavourful, fresh, and served in very generous portions. The setting is stylish yet relaxed, and the location is ideal for travellers looking to unwind right after security. A great experience overall and well worth a visit if you’re passing through Heathrow!

Ordered the chicken wings which were delicious - very crispy too, and well sauced. And for my main had fish and chips. Fish was a bit bland tasting but okay, but the chips were not chips... they were fries. For £24 I was hoping it'd at least be traditional. Tartare sauce was nice, as were the peas which again were not traditional mushy peas but were nice. My main gripe was with the service. I sat at a small table by one of the tablet screens and the tablet itself and the vessle it rests in were filthy. Service was virtually non existent as you are directed to book via an app. Miserable server (woman, middle aged, south east asian) really needs some advice on how to give service with a smile... rather laughably there was a 15% service charge added to my bill which I told her to remove. No way did she deserve a 15% tip. Overall, the food was decent but nothing special. Would definitely recommend the wings though, they were great.

Was a good experience with the food being very well made, after a while the batter on the fish tasted a bit doughy well bland. The beer was refreshing and a peaceful environment a typical airport atmosphere very private and closed off from other ppl around you. The waiting staff are exceptional with great knowledge of the menu and recommendations was really appreciated. Overall pretty much on par for the price point for such an restaurant at the airport.
Jacques J — Google review
We were really surprised with this food at the airport. We didn't do the reservation but waited only 5 min to be seated. The service was great, very nice and quick . The waiter was really good and pleasant. Food was great, we enjoyed burgers, beet salad and fish on skewers. It was a lot of food and we finished everything. Highly recommend to visit.
Marika Y — Google review
Hello Gordon. So the food is pretty good, the salmon teriyaki needs some work. A bit dry and the overall execution of the dish is a bit clumsy. Pretty nice sauce though. The burrata is quite nice. Very creamy🥛The buffalo chicken burger was nice but very messy! The service is nonexistent. Why, just why do you have like 10 staff members wandering around and still make the customers order via some poorly designed app? Its a bad move, SAD. When we told the staff that we wanted to order manually, they scoffed and returned five minutes later to take the order. And the food arrived 30 minutes later. ”10 minute waiting time” is optimistic. The breakfast was not my cup of tea. I had the Full English and what is supposed to feel like the complete breakfast felt very lacking, not only in flavor, but also in execution. Dry meats, sloppy mushroom and the tomato was completely ray in the middle. The beans, 10/10. Good job on them. But its also the easiest on the plate. Season the egg. Don’t be, an idiot sandwich👍🏼
Luthus S — Google review
Service was non existent. You order via QR code. No one asks how your meal is. Warm glass for cold water. Brown and under ripened avocado that was expensive. Unripe tomato. Bland and undercooked burger. Fries were inedible; previously cooked and reheated. Highly expensive and could have eaten better anywhere else. Very disappointed.
Amy-Lynn F — Google review
Located inside Terminal 5 after security, the process here is very automated. You order and pay through an app, and then they automatically add a 15% service fee. If you want it removed, you have to speak to a member of the team. The problem is that there’s no actual service. The staff simply drop off the food at your table with no friendliness or interaction. The restaurant was not even busy, yet the wait for food was surprisingly long. Personally, I feel the prices are a complete rip-off for what you get. That said, the burger itself was really good. The bun was stale, but the beef patty was excellent quality and the chips were crispy and very tasty. Overall, it feels like you’re paying for the name, not the experience.
Peter P — Google review
Ordered the chicken curry and it was absolutely amazing! I also chose the gluten-free bread, which was great quality as well. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow. Despite asking three times, I was never shown the drinks menu and had to remind the staff again before finally receiving it.

Bar
Nestled conveniently near London Bridge, The Black Horse is a charming pub that offers a delightful mix of casual dining and entertainment. With an inviting atmosphere, it features pool tables and a wide selection of beers on tap, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. Guests can indulge in delicious pub meals, including some flavorful Indian dishes crafted by talented chefs.
The food is great Indian food, pints are great for London - they don't rip you off like the rest of the bars around this place. This is the reason we keep going back. The male toilet is a bit dirty and the seating outside can be a little dirty too but the food is great.
Shivam C — Google review
A great find for sure. The cook is Toni who is from Nairobi, Kenya. The place is two separate business's. The bar and restaurant are owned by two different owners so you have to pay separately. The bar staff are excellent and always ready to serve. Very large selection of drinks so easy to satisfy most people. The restaurant orders are taken to the left of the bar. The food selection is excellent and the food itself is very good. If I'm honest, the seekh kebabs could do with a bit of work. The staff serving the food are OK. They are not proficient in English so struggle to understand orders. But you can muddle through so no big deal. Overall, a very good place to visit for a great meal and drinks. FYI: Going again for sure.

I was in transit staying at a hotel near Heathrow. The pub was located near my hotel. Nice pub. I went early on a weekday evening to grab a quick drink. It wasn't too busy then which was good. Relaxing. Clean. Service was efficient. The gentleman who served me was friendly. Quiet and chilled. There is a restaurant located inside the pub, which is separately run. The food was very nice.

Absolutely lovely, travelled from Birmingham to try this restaurant out due to many recommendations from family and friends and it does not disappoint. Food was really good, all fresh and perfectly spiced (for me personally I could've done with some lime or lemon quarters with the food but I didn't ask the staff even though I know they would've sorted it out if I asked but that's my personal preference) the staff were really friendly and made to feel really welcome, nice family orientated restaurant. Defo one on the list for coming to again. Keep up to the good hospitality and quality of food.

Quiet when we arrived to watch the Wales v USA match. Friendly locals and staff. Nice pub with interesting sports memorabilia on display Result could've been better, but I don't think the pub could do much about that!

Food is amazing, atmosphere is great and buzzing, if going in a group call to reserve table as in the evenings can get busy, family friendly atmosphere.

Pub
Restaurant
Nestled along the riverside, The City Barge is a historic pub that dates back to the 14th century and boasts a rich heritage, including its appearance in The Beatles' film 'Help!'. Originally known as the Navigators Arms, this charming establishment has undergone thoughtful renovations while preserving original features like Victorian panelling and open fires.
🚇 Kew Bridge 🍺 £6.30 London Pilsner The City Barge is located on the banks of the Thames in Chiswick, and is one of four pubs that line this stretch of the river. The nearest station is Kew Bridge. The City Barge claims origins from 1484, which would make it one of the oldest pubs in London. This pub was originally called the Navigators Arms it later became the Bohemia Head and the City Navigation Barge. The City Barge name comes from an old barge that was once moored between here and Oliver's Island, as a toll collection vessel. The pub is famous among Beatles fans as one of the locations in the movie Help! This is a one-bar pub that is split-level and has a country pub feel. Much of the space is given over to dining, especially the sunken room, which features a fireplace, flagstone floor, and curved stone steps. Directly in front of the servery are a number of tables for those just here for a beer. Upstairs is a private dining room with sturdy herringbone tables. There are two outside spaces: one at the back by the car park, and of course, the riverside terrace, which is the best place to be. This Greene King pub offers a decent selection of beers, which included some local London brews and three cask ales. I decided on a Portobello London Pilsner; my pint hit the spot, and the price was around average. The food menu offers classic British pub grub; Fish & Chips costs £19, and roasts are available on Sundays. I arrived around 2:30 pm on a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon in May. The atmosphere inside was very chilled and laid-back, as the majority of punters were enjoying the sun and the views outside overlooking the river. The service was excellent; the team here were upbeat, welcoming, and friendly. The @citybargew4 was a thoroughly enjoyable visit. This riverside Gastro offers a fantastic traditional pub experience within a country pub setting and riverside views. 📅 11th May 2024 More London pub info on socials @londonpubmap 🍻

Poor quality beef in the roast. Seem a few others have commented on the low quality in recent reviews. Wish I had seen them prior to ordering. Large sections were inedible and left on the plate. Also left the veg was light and there should have been more. Before the pub reply and say something along the lines of had we been made aware at the time we could have replaced it. Your chefs should be fully aware when they're cooking and serving. Management will be aware because they're making savings on what they're buying.

One of our local pubs - and it really delivered on our recent visit. We had a gorgeous Sunday roast - every course was spot on. From the starters right through to dessert, the food was consistently great. I had the porchetta for my main, and it was absolutely delicious - easily one of the best roasts I’ve had in a long time. The meat was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. For dessert, I had the prune panna cotta - lovely flavour and a perfect wobble. Cocktails were decent too, making it a well-rounded and satisfying meal.

A really friendly, warm and inviting pub with an amazing view. The staff made me feel very comfortable even dining alone. The food was such a treat, lovely flavours, great quantity and brilliant value.
Ben E — Google review
We’ve always enjoyed our visits to this riverside pub. But this week was our first time in their private room, where we hosted a celebratory lunch for 12. Ian and his team made the event a big success: a comfortable setting with a river view, good food and wine, excellent service (thank you Nina, and your colleague whose name I have sadly forgotten). Ian and Reggie were also very helpful while planning the event. So … in our experience, the City Barge is an excellent choice for a relaxed but civilised private occasion in a great location.
Christopher W — Google review
I write a full review in a moment, but just the fact that I was asked to move out from the table I booked before j manage to get to order dessert just because they dont know how to manage their bookings is very annoying, it's not like the pub was fully crowded, the place was dead empty, please see my pictures, Terrible service, terrible management who didn't even bother to apologise, I highly recommend you to stay away from this place
Odobigode — Google review
My lovely local pub. Spent a lot of time here over the year and made many memories. Delicious food, a friendly welcome and an enchanting summer view along the river.
Robert H — Google review
Food was delicious, and the service very good, fabulous ambiance, they didn't rush me. The fish and chips were on a visit to England in late September 2023. The lamb was from a visit to England in late June to July. Everything was so fabulous I just had to go back again. I hope to go back to the City Barge next visit and have the Sunday roast and also have a walk along the beautiful waterfront.

Absolutely love this place! There’s nothing else like this around here. Great to pop into for a coffee and cake during the day with a warm, cosy and friendly atmosphere. Equally lovely in the evening for cocktails and tapas. The staff are always friendly and helpful. What a great asset to Hounslow! ☺️

Josh makes the best cocktails. Started with tea and a super tasty red velvet. Happy hour still found me enjoying my evening so I had a hot Sloe Gin, and 2 other lovely cocktails recommended by Josh ! Love it here, always.

We had a connecting flight from through Heathrow airport and decided to explore a near by destination. We got a ticket to go to Hounslow and stopped by Ballucci cafe. It is a great spot to get something to eat/drink with a modern look. I had a Pasta which was fine but not the best I had before. Everything else was great from service to environment, etc. I need to add that water was free

Came here for hot drinks and breakfast. Ambience is fantastic, nice calm music. The decor is simple and elegant The French toast was light and fluffy, served with powdered sugar and banana, and the bacon sandwich was toasted A bit pricey for the portions, but the taste makes up for it

This must be Hounslow's greatest coffee shop. Its contemporary decor exudes a wonderful vibe as soon as you walk in, and the staff was incredibly kind and professional. I had a great-tasting Latte. Nice place to sit and talk with friends. I've got a business meeting, too. The property is excellent since the interior is spotless and spacious.

Big Smoke Taphouse & Kitchen is a modern public house that truly captures the essence of a contemporary dining experience. Located conveniently in Terminal 2 at Heathrow, it boasts an impressive selection of beers from its own Big Smoke Brew Co., alongside popular brands like Budweiser and Corona. The menu features all-day breakfast options, including a hearty full English, as well as mouthwatering burgers, slow-cooked ribs, meat sharers, DIY tacos, and fresh salads.
A nice place to grab a bite to eat when traveling. The staff was very welcoming, and were confident in their task and role. I was always given very good information and good follow-up. The menu for both food and drinks was well laid out, and had a variety of different things to choose from. Both food and drinks were well in line with the prices, and what you would expect at a busy airport. Will most likely come back here on my next visit to the airport

Summary: this is a great spot to eat while you wait for your flight. The food is delicious but a bit overpriced. The quality is great and i have no complaints. I ordered fried chicken on waffles which i don’t usually like but the balance in flavours was tasty. The staff on shift that day was super nice and helpful, she was friendly and even advised us on what to get. I would come back here if i ever was in Terminal 2 again.

All the way from South Africa & just looking for some good food & drink before a long trip back home, I stumbled across Big Smoke Taphouse at London Heathrow Terminal 2 & had the absolute privilege of meeting Savio, the server who knew very well I struggling with the QR Code version menu & was eager to assist me & simplify my order & dining experience. Savio was extremely friendly, helpful & patient as we took our time to go through the hard copy menus & eventually opted for Tex Mex Tacos, Pork Burnt Ends, Some Onion Rings & 2 glasses of wine. I was pleasantly surprised with the bursting flavors of the all the food, especially the smokiness of the pork burnt ends & most especially encountering very bland food in England overall, LOL. Thank you Savio for an incredible dining experience during my very first visit to a Big Smoke Taphouse & Kitchen, keep up the world class service & excellent work ethic :-) From Deon & Hayley - South Africa

I must say that the waitress and waiter who served me are both very kind. It must be something wrong in the kitchen. It's not a busy day. I ordered a steak which is medium cooked. After 15 minutes, the steak was on my table but a well-done one. I wouldn't like to waste food and tried to eat some part of the steak. It's too hard to swallow, so I told it to a waiter. He brought it back and promised to deliver a new steak. I waited more than 35 minutes and got nothing. After complaining, I have a medium cooked steak finally. I should not add tips on the bill. When you order by QR CODE, you have to pay first.

Had the all day breakfast which was excellent, but there was a loooong hair in my beans. It happens, even if it should not. The waiter did not hesitate, and neither did the kitchen. They remade my breakfast and apologized profusely. I would have given 5 stars of this did not happen, but due to the staffs response, I upped from 3 to 4. Will go back next time without hesitations.
Koos V — Google review
Service felt rude and dismissive, was not even greeted with a «hello». Night club music created a stressfull atmosphere. Food was ok, I’d rather pay a bit more and sit at the cozy London’s Pride pub upstairs.
Vally A — Google review
Best thing you could say is it was quasi edible, however undercooked ribs that i waited 20 mins for but came cold, a chicken burger made of 3 mini strips and a cold slice of cheddar for £18. Table wiped in front of me with a dirty cloth, looked like a chalkboard - I mentioned it kindly to staff, she wiped again with the same dirty cloth. Worst £60 quid i have ever spent, go to McD or anything else really

A bit noisy/ I had sausage and mash which was nice but quite pricey. I asked for a lemonade with out Ice. Waitress came with a tin of Sprite which was warm. I added some Diet Coke to try and give it some taste but to no avail. Menu clearly States Lemonade. Sprite is a lemon and lime concoction. I was expecting an R Whites or Schepps Lemonade so a bit disappointing. It was quite warm as well.

Wondertree is a delightful airport eatery that brings a global flair to casual dining, all while being nestled in the vibrant atmosphere of Terminal 2. This quirky restaurant features an eye-catching 8-foot color-changing tree, adding a whimsical touch to your travel experience. As part of The Restaurants Group plc, Wondertree stands out among the 70 high-volume establishments they operate across UK airports and train stations.
Great experience here. The are very cognizant of allergies and while allergens are marked on the menu they have a separate menu where you can search based on contamination on a little tablet. It's quite useful and really nice. Did you not have a separate fryer for gluten-free. I had the gluten-free English breakfast with gluten-free toast and a smoothie. Super happy with the quality considering the breakfast I'd been having at the hotel the past week was barely edible. Yummy yummy 🤤!!

While waiting for our flight at Heathrow Airport, Terminal 2. While looking for a place to grab a quick bite, we decided to try Wondertree. It's a very spacious place. Seating areas are comfortable. We ordered fish&chips to eat and 2 different beers to drink our salad. Fish&chips was much better than I expected. It was cooked perfectly. The salad was a little small but delicious. Both of them were the first ones I tried. Both sides were delicious. The service people were friendly, fast and professional. Prices were a little more expensive than I expected. I would recommend.

Food was alright. I got the California burger, pomegranate drink 🍸 (which tasted like ice water in purple) Next time, I'll just go to LEON! The staff did well to work with what they had. I wouldn't want to attend to stuck-up Karen's everywhere either. 10⭐️ for them working. Could be a nice spot if it wasn't for the dismal taste 🤔 54£ for tasteless food.... I should've just bought a beer and had empty calories... Anywho.... Me and my friends had the following; Vegetarian breakfast, egg Benedict with Avocado, and English breakfast. Staff who served us today was a friendly chap. My friend did not want black pudding and ask for a few chips to compensate what he did not want, and they kindly done just that. My veggie breakfast was pretty good. Egg was not done to perfection as it still had some uncooked parts, as I do like mine runny. But not to the extent where some parts are uncooked. Had flat white, which really didn’t taste of flat white ... real strange. Veggie breakfast was £11 something. Pretty pricey for breakfast nowadays! Nice seating areas and decor. Comfortable and cosy. Real tranquil areas.

Wondertree located in the main restaurant and shop area in terminal two past security. The best seats are all the way at the back -booths with open views of the runway. The menu includes all day breakfast (i.e chicken and waffles £13.75), starters (i.e prawn tacos £9.25), large plates (i.e cajun ribs £21.75), burgers (i.e bacon burger £15.75) and salads/bowls (i.e poke bowl £15.25). There is ample seating for groups, families and individual travellers with a few chargers on the walls. The service is hit and miss, yet enthusiastic and friendly. The drinks menu includes food non alchoolic choices including smoothies and lemonade. The poke bowl (£15.25) was took about twenty minutes to arrive and while nicely presented it was poor excuse for a poke bowl. The rice had been reheated and fish looked like something out a laboratory. The watermelon was not fresh and probably defrosted. Maybe just a bad day for the chef but the food served offered no wonder.

A place with good space and great location at Heathrow Terminal 2. However, there seemed to be some issues with the service that led to the long queue. Ppl were waited outside for a long time to be seated Food was okay, I like the Peruvian chicken and its sauce. It’s served with a salad composed of cucumber, avocado, and pickled red onions. Skin-on fries were also recommended. Slaw was a but disappointed as the flavor of different ingredients were basically the same. I like that the staff reminded me of the portion of the dish I was about to order, which was very considerate. But the checkout took like forever…not an ideal eating place for those who needed to catch a plane
Hao-Ting C — Google review
Casual airport dining at a handy location on a balcony overlooking the terminal. Service was good but the food was standard airport fare so nothing exciting. There is a kids menu with the usual selection of pasta and fried stuff, enough to keep them happy. There is a separate bar if you just want to have a drink before takeoff. Prices are high but that's fairly standard for Heathrow.
Benjamin M — Google review
Food was good and nicely presented. Service was not well coordinated. I ordered before the table next to me and they finished their meal before mine came - I only ordered avocado toast! Nestled in Terminal 5, The Crown Rivers is a modern Wetherspoon pub that offers travelers a delightful taste of British cuisine alongside an impressive selection of craft beers. Established in 1979 and originally known as Martins Free House, this venue has evolved over the years and now proudly celebrates its 42nd anniversary. With its warm wood accents and inviting atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot to unwind after navigating airport security.
As a local guide, I was impressed by this spot. The service was top-notch, staff friendly, and my order arrived swiftly. I ordered Margarita Pizza. That sourdough? Pure magic. I skipped a drink, but the cocktails I saw looked tempting. Prices were fair compared to other airport eateries. Left happy—long live this gem!

A good coffee for a good breakfast, I was surprised by the quality, which is not always found in an airport. The staff was very kind, especially Sandra. I had a good quality cappuccino (Lavazza) and a croissant that was good but not excellent. A large display inside the café provides real-time flight information. There is a wheelchair-accessible restroom ten meters from the lounge. A great place to wait for your flight. Recommended.

Needed some food and found this place! It seems to be very packed nonstop and it was hard to find a spot! The menu was great and there are some good deals! You order with a QR code which isn’t a big deal because LHR has free WiFi and you also pay online! Despite the business, my food came fast, everyone was friendly, and it tasted great!

Needed some good food before my flight. Really don’t get how they took the phrase “airplane food “ literally. If you are going to charge airport food prices , you damn well make it atleast decent. Not worth the money

Its a Spoons at Heathrow T5. It seems to sell most of the same stuff as any other Spoons. Its the same quality. However the big difference is the price. We were flying to Aberdeen. The unlimited coffee in Aberdeen is £1.71. Here it's £3.50. 2 breakfasts with coffee set us back about £30 compared with £12 in Aberdeen. But it's ok.

Pub
Restaurant
The Bulls Head in Barnes is a family-friendly pub offering traditional British dishes and a welcoming atmosphere. It has been a renowned venue for jazz since 1959, hosting performances by various artists. Just across the river in Chiswick, this pub combines modern flair with traditional charm and offers good pub food, from hearty classics to contemporary dishes. Additionally, the village where it's located has historical significance dating back to the 18th century when wealthy residents built grand homes there.
Arranged to meet with friends on a wet June Saturday afternoon / evening so may explain why bit quieter than usual. Had the little room at the top of the pub to ourselves which has a great view over the River Thames and railway bridge keeping the young children in our party entertained plus we had a dog with us. Very attentive service (calling out Kelly and Richard); decent choice of typical pub fayre on the menu plus nice selection of specials including a tasty grilled hake with new potatoes and asparagus; good selection of beers (including alcohol-free).

I had no intention in writing a review, however after a couple of bites of my Signature Burger I had to give credit where credit is due. The Signature Burger here at the Bulls Head was delicious, and I don't say that lightly! I've had a few burgers over the years but this one is hard to beat. I don't think I've tasted a Burger so intensively beefy and juicy, hopefully this explains my half eaten Burger photo...de...lish...ous! I also had the vanilla custard slice with strawberries which again was a delight to eat. Staff were very attentive, service was quick and very reasonable prices. A great experience.

What a lovely pub. Very friendly staff, beautifully cooked food and right on the Thames. We were only in the area for two nights, but both nights we ate there
Jan B — Google review
Friendly enough service but not gonna lie, some of the portions were small. One slice of ciabatta for the bruschetta starter and one small fish cake for the fish cake main were embarrassingly small. To be fair when they asked how everything was and we told them, they did discount a main. Sort of feel for the staff as this is no doubt a head office portion control issue. What arrived was tasty enough though.

Had a fab Mother's day celebration with my daughter and her man, and his Mum. We had a booking inside, but it was such a fab day we ended up asking to eat outside. The staff and manager accommodated us, and when the tide came up 2 of us were served dessert inside, while another 2 outside- excellent "navigation" (gettit?) and flexibility on your part

My experience was so so good i love coming to this pub!! Amazing food and service makes it all the better. Special mention to my server Dora who was so on it and makes my visits 10x better! The service was so fast and she would get me what i needed without me even having to ask. Definitely my favourite pub by the river. And James too makes a great Hugo Spritz + served with a smile :)

I wish I never ate there although the location is idyllic. Sadly my experience ended with food poisoning. Outside tables were sticky and dirty. To get anyone to clean them you have to wait for ever. Staff has a PhD in not noticing customers, so you have to waive and call out as loud as you can for them to look up from wherever they look to avoid eye contact with the customer. Worse still was the food. I had a massive food poisoning there when we took our client out on 20/05. Both me and my business partner ordered risotto with seabass and prawns. Hers arrived cold so she returned it and got fish and chips instead. Mine was tepid and I ate a little bit of that when I realised the food tasted like it was reheated from the day before. The rice actually had an acrid taste and fish was chewy. I ate maybe 1/4 of it but it was too late. I ate enough of it for the damage to be done. Started feeling sick as soon as we left the place. By the time I got home I was in excruciating pain and next morning the armageddon of vomiting and diarrhoea + the worst headache ever, started and lasted for 3 days. I didn't recover until Saturday, lost over £1000 in income as I am self-employed and missed out on our home staging assignment, lost tickets to Chelsea Flower show. I contacted the company but just as I thought, they have fobbed me off with "we will investigate fully". That was weeks ago and 0 response since. Well, they have fobbed off the wrong person. I will now make sure that this does not end there.

Would not eat here again. Great people watching spot along the Riverwalk. This is probably why they are so busy. We ordered nachos, and if we were not quite hungry, we would not have eaten them. Keep walking a few more steps, alot better options.

We went here for a small reunion event last week. There were lots of people standing outside and on the riverside but it was in full sun and no shade. We went inside and just about got a table. The order to table qr code was good and service quicker than we expected. We had quite a few cocktails but don't think they had much alcohol in them as we were all still quite lucid after a couple of hours 😂 The cocktails didn't always look like the photo on the menu. None of our zombies had pirate flags.

The Bell & Crown in Chiswick is a spacious 18th-century pub with a conservatory and restaurant, situated along the picturesque riverside towpath. The venue offers an impressive selection of food and drinks, complemented by delightful river views. Visitors can enjoy one of the best Sunday roasts in the area, featuring options like chicken and lamb shoulder roasts, as well as delectable dishes such as mushroom gnocchi.
Had a fantastic Sunday roast here with my family. Martin went out of his way to settle us into a great corner table, and our waitress was brilliant with the kids — patient, warm, and genuinely accommodating. The whole team struck the perfect balance of friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Food was spot-on: generous portions, perfectly cooked roast beef, crisp potatoes, and a Yorkshire pudding the size of a crown. The riverside setting under the glass roof just sealed the deal. Couldn’t ask for a better family Sunday.

Nice pub with a lovely river view. The service was good and the food was enjoyable. However, the lack of background music-especially on a Saturday evening took away from the atmosphere a bit, and we ended up moving to a different location for the rest of the night.

From the moment we entered the pub we could tell there was care and attention spent. It was very clean, organised and we were served quickly. We had a drink by the Thames and then came back in for our reserved table and food. Service was patient, friendly, conscientious and considered (especially as we had a 20 month old). One Over the Ait, located at Kew Bridge, is a classic pub housed in a Victorian warehouse that embraces its industrial heritage. This riverside establishment is an ideal choice for enjoying pub grub and drinks on a sunny day. Its food offerings, particularly the sharing plates, receive high praise from reviewers who also appreciate its unique and vibrant atmosphere. The pub's reputation as the best in the area by Kew Bridge speaks volumes about its success.
Visited around noon on a sunny Saturday, and I have to say, this place really impressed me. Pros: - There’s plenty of space, both indoors and out, and it wasn’t crowded at all despite the good weather. - The terrace wraps around the pub, front, back, and side, each area offering a different vibe and view. - Inside, it’s big and open. You don’t feel cramped at all. - I’m not even a big football fan, but there was a match on when I was there. The many screens scattered around make it a great place to catch a game if that’s your thing. - The rooftop terrace is a real highlight, views of the Thames on one side, the bridge on another, and some modern buildings behind. Again, each angle gives you a unique atmosphere. - Beer selection is decent, most of the well-known choices are there. Cons: - Honestly, nothing major comes to mind. I didn’t try the food this time, so can’t comment on that yet. Summary: I’ve been to a lot of pubs around London, and this one definitely makes it into my top 10. Even though I don’t live nearby, it’s absolutely worth the trip back.

Brilliant pints, brilliant views. Plenty of space in this Fullers Pub for larger gatherings and, perfectly located between Brentford and Richmond so lots of access to places to eat before or after, but that's not even needed because I would recommend eating here!
Deepak S — Google review
Beautiful location and easy to get to whether by walking or bus (65 to Kew Bridge). Modern-feel with some mix-'n-match of various elements, all nice on their own but kinda missing like a central, cohesive feel to it. Seating outside is marvelous, with a pool table on the second floor as well. Service was a little impersonal and haphazard but it might just be that they were kinda busy (? although not really). Poor servers had to keep going up and down from first to second floor, though. Tough. Food-wise, lots of great options. Had my first ever Fish and Chips in the UK. Chips were probably up there in the top chips (or fries) I've ever had. Fish batter was good and crisp, but the fish itself I feel could have done with some marinating with herbs and spices but apparently, as I was told, marinating the fish and schzuzing it up a little bit is a bit uncommon in Briton restos and pubs. So I guess if judged by it is what it is, pretty good fish. The sauces were stellar. Great selection of drinks overall. Price not bad for the portions they serve.
Crispin G — Google review
Worst meal I’ve had in London. “Smashed avo on toast” was soggy Hovis bread and store-bought guacamole. Egg was cold. And got charged £13 for it! Could have made a better brunch at home. Pint was expensive and luke warm. Place has no character and smells like stale alcohol.
Laura W — Google review
Been here before and food was good. Really disappointed today. £11 for smashed avocado on toast and £3 for a side of egg and it was grim. Thin layer of overly processed guac on floppy white sliced bread - the guac hadn’t seen a real avocado in some time. Toast was horrible. Not what you expect for brunch.

We went for Sunday roast and everything was fantastic! I had the nut roast and as a veggie that’s a tough roast to make, it was delicious. The others had the lamb which was cooked to perfection. Sticky toffee pudding was wonderful. Proportions were ideal, not too much crowding the plate and being wasteful but more than enough for a heart Sunday lunch. Highly recommend a visit, I’ll be back again.

We came in for the mussels and steak night and had an absolutely brilliant experience. The food was amazing – perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The service was just as good as the food; our waiter, Santosh, couldn’t have done enough for us. He was attentive, friendly, and even brought water and treats over for our dog, which was such a thoughtful touch. We left feeling really well looked after. We’re already looking forward to coming back next Sunday with my parents to try the roast sharing boards – can’t wait!

We had our team away day dinner and drinks here in the private dining space upstairs and it was a brilliant experience from start to finish. A huge thank you to the management team and our waitress Inez, who took such great care of us all evening. She was warm, attentive, and timed everything perfectly meaning the whole evening flowed seamlessly. Her thoughtful service really elevated the whole experience. It was the ideal setting for our team to relax and connect — we couldn’t have asked for a better night. I’m a big fan of this local pub. I used to live just around the corner, and it truly felt like a second home — or even a cosy grandparents’ house. It’s surprisingly spacious, with chic dried flower arrangements on every table (even the cutlery boxes are lovely). The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly, smiling, and attentive — not overbearing, just genuinely kind and efficient. They regularly rotate seasonal beers, so there’s always something new to try, and the food is consistently good. You can watch sports on TV, play darts, enjoy a few board games, and there’s even something to keep the kids entertained. A proper gem of a pub.

WOULD NOT RECCOMEND TAKEOUT Usually quite a generous reviewer however this was an underwhelming experience. After hearing so many positive comments from Peppe's we decided to order delivery. Paid around £40 for 3 dishes, 2 pasta and 1 lasagna. Lasagna arrived almost spilled out in the bag and the pasta was quite underwhelming experience. Hopefully the dine-in experience is better than the takeout.

Authentic Italian food, fresh cooked, freshly caught. All reasonably priced, although service with a bit rushed and didn't give you time to think! We have no complaints about the food and while the lobster did appear to come from the 'fish bath' despite it being a Special. It still tasted fresh and delicious. Our King prawn dishes of a very reasonable size with risotto and laguine. The sharing starters set everything off very nicely. So the complaint really is that we felt hastled for our order, plates were cleared away quickly when we had only just finished. No time to dip our bread in the delicious sauce. A missed opportunity!

Was looking forward to taking my wife out for lunch but wish I had stayed at home ordered turkey roast dinner for my wife and I ordered chicken skewers with chips and onion rings also a latte that took 20 minutes to come would if been longer but had to go back up and ask where it is, the turkey roast was Luke warm with the roast potatoes to hard to cut green beens still had stalks on them and gravy was hardly any my wife left most of it, my skewers was not sizzling at all and the peppers were drowning in water onion rings hardly cooked see photo's and staff walking around without any smile no atmosphere

Came for an early dinner with my family and we were greeted and served by the lovely Jacob who was very helpful and patient in taking our orders, and when we wanted to swap out an item he was very accommodating! The food was brought out by a polite young lady! I would certainly be coming back nothing beats great service A****. Also there open from 8am to 2300hrs so you can even come for breakfast 🍳 and the parking is free! Thank you 😊 Jacob for a great service

Nestled in Hounslow, Kathmandu Zone Restaurant & Events is a vibrant and modern venue that perfectly blends style with culinary delight. This charming spot is ideal for celebrating life's special moments, from weddings to birthdays, offering flexible spaces tailored to your needs. The lively atmosphere complements an extensive menu featuring authentic Nepalese dishes like the must-try chilli momos and various dumplings served in creative styles.
Venturing into this Nepalese eatery, we were immediately drawn to the momos, and they did not disappoint. We opted for both the tandoor chicken momos and the deep-fried chicken momos. The tandoor momos, generously coated in a flavorful tandoor sauce, were a delightful fusion of textures and spices. The deep-fried momos, on the other hand, offered a satisfying crunch that complemented the accompanying sauce perfectly. With approximately ten momos per plate, the value for money was exceptional. We also sampled the Kathmandu house curry, which, while not a personal favorite in terms of flavor intensity, still possessed a pleasant blend of spices and paired wonderfully with the garlic naan. A single portion proved ample for two, especially when accompanied by other dishes. For drinks, we chose the mango lassi, a refreshing choice, though a wider selection of lassi flavors would have been appreciated. A slight disappointment was the absence of hot drinks on the menu. The restaurant's ambiance was tranquil, particularly as we arrived at noon on a Saturday. The interior, adorned with captivating posters of Nepalese landmarks, exuded a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Soft ambient music played in the background, creating a pleasant dining environment without being intrusive. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering dish recommendations and ensuring a pleasant experience. The dining area was impeccably clean. Parking was conveniently available nearby, adjacent to Quality Foods, and the restaurant's proximity to bus stops made it easily accessible via public transportation. I would definitely come back to try other items on the menu.

My sister-in-law recommended this place so we came here for lunch and the food did not disappoint. I usually go to another Nepalese restaurant in Hounslow but I think this might be my new favourite restaurant now. Each and every dish that we ordered was absolutely amazing. I liked the food so much though I ordered it three days later for takeaway. I would most definitely recommend the Momo platter and schezwan squid. The only downside is when I entered the restaurant I had to wave therefore at least 10 minutes because no one was there to let me in or give me a table.
Gargi T — Google review
A place discovered by happenstance on new year's eve and I'm extremely happy for dining in this gem of an authentic Nepalese restaurant. Everything about this eatery is good: the atmosphere, wals with Nepalese locality, and pictures of snowy mountains will make you feel in Nepal. The ever so compassionate, polite and patient staff will make your time memorable. Finally the food: it's worth waiting and coming again & again for. I'm pretty much sure whoever has stepped into this restaurant once, would have a compelling reason to visit again and again and again.

Never really noticed this place but been there a couple of times now and each time tried something different from the menu, the meals have never disappointed me. Il Bebo's is a stylish and rustic Italian restaurant that offers classic and contemporary Italian dishes, including pasta, pizza, risotto, and traditional meat and fish main courses. The family-run establishment prides itself on serving delicious traditional food made from fresh ingredients. Guests can expect generous portions of flavorful dishes such as chicken rice with mushrooms and spaghetti with shrimp and tomatoes. In addition to the delectable cuisine, the restaurant also offers a variety of wines and juices.
Il Bebo’s Italian Restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with its authentic and flavorful dishes. The spaghetti was a standout, cooked to perfection with a rich, savoury sauce that tasted homemade. They use high-quality ingredients, as each bite is full of bold, balanced flavors. The tiramisu was equally impressive – easily one of the best I’ve had. It was light, creamy, and had just the right hint of espresso, making for a perfect dessert. If you’re looking for a great Italian meal, Il Bebo’s is a must-visit!

I recently had brunch at Il Bebo's, and it was fantastic! They offer a great variety of dishes that cater to all tastes, with everything from classic breakfast items to more unique options. The food was fresh, delicious, and perfectly portioned for a satisfying meal. What really stood out was the friendly service—everyone was so welcoming and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a Halal brunch spot, Il Bebo's has you covered. They have a good selection of Halal options, so there's something for everyone. Whether you're local or just passing through, give this place a try—you won't regret it!

I went to eat on 11/23/2023 around 2:30 p.m. The service was impeccable, the waiter made sure everything was in order. I also had the opportunity to speak with the chef and shared with him my culinary experience in the UK and Europe. The food was very good but I would encourage the chef to try other desserts besides tiramisu. There are other desserts on the menu, but they come from the supplier are not made by them like cheesecake, and because of that I would only give it 4 stars out of 5 just for the food.
Alin — Google review
We had a reservation for 2! It was amazing. Food was incredible and desserts were top quality. Everything tastes super good. I normally despise pesto but their pesto was amazing. We will come back for more! It is also good that they warned us that the share dish we chose was big, so we didn't ask for mains. This way we avoided wasting food! Thanks for being so thoughtful! Service was also amazing. Waitress was so nice! And the chef said goodbye to us before we left. Everyone is very nice here

Lovely Italian food here. Good choice of options for food and drink. The service was very quick and the food came out fast. The atmosphere is really chilled out and is temperate. Would recommend this to anyone looking for good, tasty Italian food.

I read some reviews here that I didn't agree with so here is my honest review. For a start I thought it was nicely decorated and had a nice welcome. The chap at front of house was professional and that goes a long way. I started off with bruschetta which was well balanced garlic to tomato as good as I've had anywhere. Usually I would never order pizza in an Italian restaurant but I wanted one and usually I would never critic a chef on a pizza. However here we go, pizza had a nice thin base typical Neopolitan style with a slight chew to the base which is a good thing. Is it better than pizza from Naples of course not is it better than a take away pizza in UK of it is. WiFi and toilets here good facilities and nice staff.

Nestled in the charming area of Hanwell, The Fox is a delightful pub that offers an eclectic menu featuring everything from hearty Sunday roasts to mouthwatering fish and chips. On sunny days, its large beer garden becomes a vibrant hub for locals and visitors alike, providing a perfect spot to unwind with friends over refreshing drinks. The atmosphere is lively yet welcoming, making it an ideal place for social gatherings or casual catch-ups.
The Fox on Green Lane in Hanwell is a real star! A beautiful rambling building with an equally rambling garden. Plenty of keg beers and ciders on offer along with four real ales on my visit. A stove in a brick fireplace to make it just as warm and welcoming in the colder months. Great service and great beer, all is well with the world. Well worth a visit!
Dai T — Google review
We have visited the Fox a few times over the years and the food / drink is always great, albeit the options for children can be limited at times! There is always a few beers on tab for a bit of variety. There is some outside space, and it is near to the canal so you can have a nice walk before / after. It can get busy, so worth calling ahead and booking a table, especially if you are expecting to have food.
Andrew C — Google review
Really nice old fashioned- country style pub with a lovely large beer garden. The food and drink had a great range that was all reasonably priced. They also have themed nights, like curry night, burger night, etc, and will be trying the Sunday roast next time I come here. Highly Recommended.
Martin B — Google review
Went for a catch up with friends on the bank holiday on a sunny, lovely day. Arrived at 12.30 enough time to grab a seat before the garden filled up with patrons. The fish and chips looked great. It’s an expensive menu but compared to similar pubs in the area it’s slightly cheaper. Didn’t expect to find a pub like this in Hanwell, with a buzzy community enjoying a cold one in the sunshine. The canal is next door which is handy for a beautiful walk. I enjoyed this lunch and the atmosphere. They had some nice flowers with nice scents and the location, decor, staff, the general positive, family vibe of this pub makes it somewhere you wouldn’t want closing down as it would clearly impact the local community - it would be a huge loss.
Jay W — Google review
Really nice large beer garden. Plenty of sun and good cover too on the side booths, for when it's too hot. Great food and the portion size was just right. Fish & chips and a beer came to just under £25.
Nav W — Google review
Popped in for a Sunday lunch hoping to find a space (we hadn’t booked) and were able to sit for a relaxing couple of hours having a delicious roast & some drinks. Beautifully cooked food, the gravy was really nice & gave a good lift to the whole meal. Staff really friendly and helpful, great atmosphere & really busy. Would recommend booking if you want a table inside at the weekend, however they do have a large covered garden area as well. We walked here along the river path - parking is a bit pants so we tend to walk there and then uber or bus home. This place really is a hidden gem 💎 🦊

Been coming to this pub for 10 years and from first visit to whenever I come here since (weekly) it is my favourite pub in London. Fantastic selection of cask, perfect pub interior, lovely big beer garden that is thoughtfully covered in the winter, regular interesting and creative events and music, reasonable prices and super friendly and hard working staff. The Royal Oak is a cozy neighborhood pub that serves classic British meals and offers a family-friendly atmosphere. Had a full meal at The Royal Oak in Twickenham and was genuinely impressed. The food was excellent, especially the meat - packed with flavour, tender and clearly high quality. Top of the list for me when it comes to local places.Highly recommend. ✅

Overall, it was a nice experience with lots of choice but there are two things to mention. Firstly, the size of the roast potatoes were too big and in my view should be half a size and have a crispy context to them. The second is what made this five style of you go down to a three star review is that we went to the bar and ordered the food when my wife told me how much it cost. It looked too much to me so we asked for a receipt and it showed they were charged somewhere in 12 / 1/2% gratuity but not only on the food but the drinks as well which meant we paid an extra £2 on top for buying and collecting our own drinks. which I think is unreasonable considering this is a pub not a restaurant. Which was Very disappointing and had we not asked for a receipt we never would’ve known. TIP ORDER DRINKS AND FOOD SEPARATELY AND SAVE 12.5%

We booked a table for twelve mixed rugby fans (Jocks ,English and kiwi) to watch the Rugby old firm battle , England Scotland match at Twickenham on Saturday 22nd February. We were warmly greeted by Dan and his very friendly and helpful team . The atmosphere was buzzing and full of excitement and trepidation for the match ahead. Although our beloved Scotland lost by one point the defeat was smoothed over by the fabulous friendly clientele and the drink flowed on served up by the Dan and the gang behind the bar . A great afternoon and evening that we will remember for all the right reasons . Thank You Dan and team for making our visit so enjoyable. See you for the next one 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Nestled in the charming Norwood Green, The Plough Inn is a delightful brewery-owned pub that beautifully marries contemporary flair with traditional English charm. With its retro-styled interior and warm ambiance, complete with a cozy fireplace, it’s an inviting spot for both locals and visitors alike. The spacious beer garden has been thoughtfully decorated, transforming what was once just grass and benches into a vibrant outdoor space perfect for enjoying meals al fresco.
Very nice local pub in a quieter part of London. There are actually a few listed building pubs in this area. Very cozy inside with a nice beer garden out back. Had a fairly extensive menu for food. We just had some chili fries which were good, we were told they mainly did table service for ordering when I had gone up to the bar. Staff were nice. Building is worth a visit if you want to get a sense of an older country side pub but remain within a more suburban area. Beer menu was not large … I ended up with London Pride since it's a Fullers pub. If I was again in the local area I may stop again. I think it would be rather cozy in winter on a cold day!

Love this place, it’s my local! The food here is always 10/10, it’s a family owned business so it has a really nice atmosphere, good people and a space inside where you can book for special occasions. Many people in my family have had their birthdays here and it’s always been such a good night. There’s a lead/ input thing where you can plug in your phone and play music in the room too.

One of my fav local places to go. This place has a very homely feel and atmosphere is great. The kitchen has just been taken over by Dipna Anand and their burger nights and Sunday roasts have gotten even better. I had the tandoori chicken burger and my aunt had the tex mex burger. We thoroughly enjoyed. Had the sausage and mash last week and that was very yummy. The stone baked pizzas are not to be missed.

We ordered 4 x roast dinners. All arrived with food which was either stone cold or barely warm. Sent it back to be reheated. When food arrived asked for horseradish three times before that arrived. Then requested extra gravy which never came. Gave up chasing the poorly trained staff. Will stick to our usual restaurant which turns out top quality food at half the price. Won’t be returning.

Recently under new management, I had the good fortune to visit on a lovely sunny day. The new landlord gave us a good run down of how he sources all the food as fresh as possible, and it was clear in the dishes. As a vegetarian I had a variety of options, and my carnivorous friends considered the fish and chips one of the best examples they'd ever had. They're dog friendly, in a lovely location with a nice path sitting just across the road, and the staff are lovely. High recommended for anyone in the area.

Love this pub originally came here all the time in 1970s,1980s till we moved, so pleased it had the same charm and old world decor, garden has been decorated so well, used to be grass and few benches, inside there used to be 2 bars with a dividing wall now taken down opens up the bar the room with the tables was never open only used for bowls/ cricket meetings. I know it has many managers in since, but still looking good with the outside kitchen, all weather umbrella's and the chicken's. So glad I paid a visit today. Food was good as well.

We were let down by the size of sea bass fillet.. we were expecting a big chunk of fillets (2 fillets) for a £30 mains. What we've got was 2 small fillets (one side) and small heirloom tomatoes and not sure of the green vegetables. It is disappointing for the mains price. The scallops and mussels were very good. The chunky chips helped enjoy the scallops and mussels. Fish --- sad.

The food was very underwhelming. The curry was very watery, the starter which was meant to be a prawn and chicken toast tasted of nothing. The meal was cheap but the quality was terrible. Definitely not authentic. It’s something I could’ve made myself better and I’m not even Thai! Not happy at all with the quality of food . I would rather pay more and get better quality! Pub
Nestled along the picturesque banks of the River Thames, Town Wharf is a delightful riverside pub that has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. With its stunning views and inviting atmosphere, it's an ideal spot for enjoying a refreshing drink on sunny afternoons or cozy evenings. Guests have praised the impressive selection of beers and ciders available, with many recommending trying the Perry.
If you’re looking for a place to truly relax and enjoy a cozy atmosphere, this pub is the perfect choice! First of all, it’s clean and welcoming, which immediately sets the right mood. The absence of background music is a huge plus – you can talk freely without having to raise your voice. Instead of scrolling on your phone, you have access to board games, which are a great way to connect and make time fly by. The staff deserves the highest praise – the manager is always ready to help and happily answers any questions. And the food? Simply amazing! Everything is fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared, and all the drinks are organic and of the highest quality – you can see and taste the difference. The location by the river adds charm, and the outdoor space is a perfect spot to unwind on warm days. This pub is a hidden gem, ideal for family gatherings or meetings where the most important thing is spending quality time together, without rushing or distractions. Highly recommended!

Lovely waterside pub along the river Thames in Old Isleworth. We visited recently in the very hot weather for a couple of beers. We sat outside on the decking and were able to shelter from the sweltering sun. This was great because other similar pubs nearer to Kew Bridge have limited shady cover, and also very, very busy. It was so peaceful. We had a great chat with the landlord who is working hard to make a success of this place, as previously it could be guess work whether it was open or not. He said he plans to have it open every day, so it won't be our last visit.

The Town Wharf Pub is a hidden gem, quintessentially and beautifully located right on the banks of the river. With stunning waterfront views, it offers a truly inviting ambiance that feels both charming and serene. The warm and comforting service immediately makes you feel at home, setting the stage for a memorable experience. The food options are nothing short of amazing, featuring a diverse menu that perfectly complements the impressive selection of beers, ciders, whiskeys, and other drinks. Whether you’re a craft beer enthusiast, a whiskey connoisseur, or simply someone who enjoys a refreshing cider by the water, there’s something here to satisfy every palate. The coffee, served from high-quality Jura machines, is a standout and adds a delightful touch to the experience—rich, aromatic, and brewed to perfection. As a bonus, the pub also boasts a fantastic selection of ice creams, making it a great spot for both adults and families to indulge in a sweet treat while enjoying the picturesque surroundings. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual drink, a hearty meal, or just a quiet moment with coffee and dessert by the river, the Town Wharf Pub truly delivers on every front. A must-visit destination for anyone seeking a blend of exceptional hospitality, delicious offerings, and an unbeatable location.

Great pub, though a bit on the pricey side. I tried their flavored beer, which was amazing, and they have a huge selection of their own brewed beers. The pub itself is beautiful, full of history, and notably has no music. There's a reason for that, they avoid PRS fees by banning music and television. They also discourage the use of mobile phones or electronic devices inside the pub. While this might seem strict at first, I found it refreshing. It was nice to sit without loud music and actually relax, encouraging real conversation. It made for a truly memorable night! As for the food, we had their fish and chips and chicken schnitzel, both of which were of a good standard. The beers, as I mentioned, were exquisite, and the service was excellent.

One of the best pubs I have been too in recent years. Fantastic selection of drinks, spirits and even flavored bottled beers! The food is delicious and always great! All pairs well while sitting by the river enjoying the breeze or inside by the fireplace. A special mention should be given to the owner, Mike, who is very friendly and always has a smile and a story. This alone is enough reason for a visit. This is one that does not disappoint!

Been SO disappointed with the various re-launches of the Town Wharf over the last 20 years, but today's lunch has convinced me that the current manager Mike and his lovely wife have got it spot on. From the perfect riverside location (where you can actually see the river!) we had a perfect meal. Mike was an amazing host and I really hope his passion and enthusiasm re ignites the fortunes of this forgotten pub. My friend and I shared 3 delicious starters which were huge with batter that was truly crisp and dry! I wish the Town Wharf all the success they now deserve and can't wait to go back.

Amazing pub. The historic interiors are stunning, and a river view as well. The food is great, I ordered a Sunday Beef roast and it was delicious. I can recommend their house extra stout as well.

Feather & Heart is a top brunch spot in Brentford, offering a variety of delicious options such as fluffy pancakes, folded eggs on sourdough, avocado & seeds on sourdough, and shakshuka. They also serve organic porridge and superfood acai smoothie bowls for those seeking balance. This lovely coffee shop boasts helpful and kind staff members. The omelette with toasted sourdough bread is particularly delightful (Truffeled folded eggs).
For brunch or for lunch, this is definitely the place to munch. Staff are warm and friendly, and are helpful to anything you need. The decor inside is modern, beautiful and serene. Chairs were comfy, although next time, we'll try and get the sofas. The food was tasty, flavoursome and beautifully presented, especially the French Brioche. And avocado and halloumi brioche was superbly done, and the cappuccino was ace. You pay at the till first, which is great if you're with friends and no awkward bill splitting. Overall a great experience.

The best Shakshuka in London. Zero question. Exceptional food, great coffee and friendly service. Cannot fault Feather & Heart at all. As former restaurant/cafe owner which had impeccably high standards, this is genuinely a superb spot. 10/10

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — Feather & Heart: A Breakfast Gem That Delivers Soul and Flavour Feather & Heart is one of those rare places where everything — from the food to the atmosphere — feels effortlessly perfect. It’s the kind of café that turns an ordinary morning into a small celebration. The Shakshuka was divine — perfectly poached eggs nestled in a rich, tangy tomato sauce, beautifully balanced with spices and finished with a crumble of soft feta and a sprinkle of microgreens. Each bite was warming, fresh, and deeply satisfying — the kind of dish that makes you pause after the first spoonful. The French Toast was nothing short of a masterpiece — golden, crisp edges with a soft, custardy centre, layered with fresh strawberries, blueberries, passionfruit, and a generous swirl of cream. The edible flowers on top added that little touch of elegance — a feast for the eyes before the first bite. And of course, the latte — smooth, creamy, and artfully poured with a perfect heart. You can tell the baristas here take pride in their craft; it was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere at Feather & Heart is relaxed yet refined — warm lighting, friendly staff, and that unmistakable hum of a café that’s loved by regulars. Every detail feels intentional, from the presentation of the dishes to the calm, welcoming energy of the space. Whether you’re after a slow morning brunch or your new go-to coffee spot, Feather & Heart is a true standout. A place that genuinely lives up to its name — full of feather-light charm and heartwarming flavour.

Love the French toast with the seasonal fruits topping. Coffee is nice and beautiful. Enjoy a fancy breakfast with nice view. Fast free WiFi. Price is good. Only thing is we have to find off street parking around. Worth to come back again!

Decorations and the overall atmosphere was so lovely and cosy, wall the staff were so friendly (especially the waitress Negin who is especially sweet and helpful). The food was delicious and so well plated, and just thr right amount for one person per plate. Overall, a wonderful experience; will go again and will recommend.

Such a cozy cafe with beautiful interiors and pleasant outdoor seating. The coffee was amazing, and the shakshuka with sourdough tasted incredible. The French toast was also delicious. The server was very kind and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. Definitely recommend this spot for a relaxed brunch or coffee outing.

We come here often for brunch and love it every single time. Whether you’re eating an English breakfast or French toast, every single dish is a delight. The service is also superb! Nestled within the historic walls of the 1930s Forum Cinema, Teatro Hall is a vibrant destination that transcends the typical dining experience. This charming venue offers an impressive array of options, from crafting your own cocktails to indulging in a diverse cocktail menu featuring over 40 selections. The weekend bottomless brunch is particularly enticing, allowing guests to enjoy two hours of unlimited drinks alongside delicious dishes like coal-fired pizzas and homemade pasta made with fresh ingredients.
Teatro Hall is a beautiful venue — the interior design really stands out and makes you feel special the moment you walk in. It’s definitely one of those places where the atmosphere adds to the experience. The food is delicious, no complaints there! However, it is on the pricier side — for two people, we ended up paying over £40+ for everything. So while it’s a great place, it’s more of a treat than a regular hangout. I’d say it’s nice to go once or twice a month. I want to give a big shoutout (and virtual flowers 💐) to Rimsha, an amazing staff member who truly made our visit unforgettable. Her warmth and attentiveness elevated the whole experience — thank you! One small suggestion: the drinks menu could use an update. There was no Coca-Cola available, didn’t have prices listed, which can be a bit confusing when ordering. Overall, a great spot in Ealing for a classy meal and great service!

Teatro Hall has this wonderful location with the Church view. Relaxing atmosphere during the morning time but also very spacious and well designed. Also a little surprise at the toilet. Make sure you press the pedal when washing your hands :) But the most important thing is the truffle mushroom toast. Is the most delicious thing in Ealing. £15 and is not little:)

Great idea of restoring the theatre hall into a bar. High ceiling, 60s mood, good old music. On good sunny days the sun comes in a bit. Happy hour drinks are good deals. Limited choices though so depends on whether they work for you. Doughnuts was a surprise, especially our little girl love them much, so as the adults! Although came only after a long time, seems lost the order at the beginning. The waiter had politely followed through and even gave us as on the house. (Not all waiter is as diligent thou). Anyhow, I’m glad we’ve had a good time there and perfect for friends get together. Better than v crowded and messy pubs around.

It’s an impasta 😮 I wasn’t gonna write a review because it was an occasion. But omg, was I served this dish. Please show this monstrosity to the Italians. This was by far the worst pasta dish I’ve ever eaten. Even Dolmio taste better. This was meant to be the slow beef ragu. Did a 10 year old cook this in food tec? It was awful, the pasta, sauce and meat (there was hardly any meat) and that hard flat cheese didn’t make sense. I also ordered a fresh juice that tasted flat and like it was concentrated. Other dishes on the menu were weird and didn’t make sense. Who’s the chef or owner. Something needs to change. I won’t be back anyway.. At least the service was good and the place looked nice.

The Scotsman Pub Restaurant offers a charming, rustic atmosphere and serves popular Indian dishes, refreshing cocktails, and draft beer. Tucked away on quiet side roads, this cozy establishment provides an authentic and enjoyable dining experience. The menu features delectable options that are consistently excellent, with each dish served piping hot and bursting with freshness. As someone in search of the best grill place around, I can confidently say that The Scotsman is at the top of my list.
Excellent Desi pub with hefty, tasty portions. It’s a bit out of a way from the main road and about 15 mins walk from the station. Parking is a bit iffy too. But the food is fantastic. Inexpensive. Generous portions. Good flavours. Giant naans. Ginormous mixed grills. Great for a big group. Pints and drinks are reasonably priced. Great service.
Jezzer P — Google review
The Scotsman Pub offers a mixed experience, balancing good service and entertainment with a few drawbacks. One of its strongest points is the bartenders, who are friendly and efficient, ensuring that customers receive their drinks quickly and with a smile. Their service adds to the pub’s appeal, making it a welcoming spot for casual drinks. For those who enjoy a bit of recreation, the pool table is a definite plus. It provides a fun distraction and helps create a relaxed, social vibe. The pub also has a unique theme, which adds a bit of character, though it might not be elaborate enough to be a major draw. A standout feature is the Royal Enfield Classic 350 showcased in the pub, which serves as a cool conversation starter and adds to the venue’s charm. However, the experience is let down by a few key aspects. The music selection is underwhelming, failing to enhance the atmosphere and, at times, even detracting from it. Parking is another major issue, with limited options making it inconvenient for those driving in. The food is just okay—not bad, but not particularly memorable either. Unfortunately, the overall atmosphere is also lacking, feeling less lively than one would hope. Despite its shortcomings, The Scotsman Pub remains a decent spot for a drink, especially if you appreciate good service and a chance to play pool. However, those looking for a great ambiance and top-tier food might want to explore other options.

Great Night at Scotsman Pub, Southall Dropped by Scotsman Pub recently and was genuinely impressed. The place has a good energy — busy but not overwhelming, with a local charm that makes you feel right at home. What really stood out was the service. Sania looked after our table and honestly, she made the whole experience better. Super friendly, quick with orders, and just had a great vibe about her. You don’t always get that kind of service, so it deserves a shout-out. 🙌 Good drinks, decent crowd, and just a solid spot overall. If you’re around Southall and want a reliable pub with great staff — this is it. Will definitely be back. 🍺

I wish I could give zero stars. We had an absolutely disgusting experience at this restaurant. Our order arrived with a used bandage in the food—yes, you read that right. Completely unacceptable and beyond unsanitary. We immediately contacted the restaurant and Just Eat, expecting a full refund for such a horrifying issue. Instead, Just Eat refused to issue a full refund, which is shocking given the circumstances. We didn’t eat a single bite—we returned everything untouched, and the restaurant replaced the order. But after finding a used bandage in our food, how could we trust the new order? This is a serious health and safety violation, and the lack of accountability from both the restaurant and Just Eat is appalling. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless you enjoy surprise “ingredients” in your meal. AI assisted writing but all events and sentiments given are true, and approved.

We held a celebration of life gathering at The Hand and Flower for my father. We are very grateful to Simon and the rest of the team for the fantastic food, service and welcoming atmosphere. Throughout the planning, the team at The Hand and Flower were so accommodating and helpful. On the day of the celebration, each guest was welcomed as soon as they came into the pub which the family appreciated. We were very grateful for the care taken in ensuring that a good selection of food was available that was suitable for one of the guests with coeliac requirements. Just poor overall over the last two visits. The staff lack training and management. The food is below average pub grub that I wouldn't want to repeat. On my evening visit, the landlord was "holding court" in the middle of the bar. This meant that it took far too long to be served poor Guinness poorly and that I couldn't sit and enjoy a quiet pint. The entire thing was amateur hour and seemingly run as a hobby? The area deserves better. I can pour myself a decent Guinness at home for £2 and have peace to drink it! Avoid. Edit; Following on from the staff(?) reply. It is very unprofessional to bounce reviews off a neighbouring pub whilst also naming them. Since he has chosen to do so, I feel bound to point out the following. That neighbouring bar has better food and better Guinness. It also has staff that are more hospitable and professional. It is also blessed with a landlord that has the class to reply to a true review in the correct manor! That said, both my reviews are entirely true, and I stand by them. Sadly for Simon, he cannot recall all the things he talks about whilst holding court! Stonegate beware.

A genuine London pub with a classic British-style interior. Spacious, beautifully designed, and with a very pleasant atmosphere. As it’s part of a chain, there’s also a sense of familiarity and reliability. There’s an outdoor seating area at the back, perfect for enjoying the early summer. The food is reasonably priced (especially by London standards) and delicious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Only here for breakfast. Horse shoe shaped bar in this Wetherspoons. The breakfast muffin was good, the coffee a little bitter. Great value.
James F — Google review
I visited Red Lion with some friends and my assistance dog, who is fully trained and registered as a service dog. We had already ordered our drinks when one member of the staff approached us and said that only guide dogs were allowed — that other assistance dogs were not permitted. This is actually wrong and discriminatory. Under the UK Equality Act 2010, all assistance dogs — not just guide dogs — have the legal right to access public spaces. The signage saying “assistant dogs not allowed” is misleading and unlawful. To make things worse, after placing our order, we were served our drinks in plastic cups and were told to leave the place. We were treated unfairly and made to feel unwelcome, simply because of the presence of a legal and necessary assistance dog. It’s unacceptable that a public venue like this shows such lack of awareness and training around accessibility and inclusion. We won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values equal treatment and respect.

My favourite thing to eat at my local whetehrspons is the small breakfast £2.99, perfect if you don’t want something heavy but want to give yourself a little morning treat. The White Hart is a historic pub and modern British restaurant located by the riverside in Barnes. The establishment offers stunning views of the Thames from its terrace, making it an ideal spot to enjoy sunset. On Sundays, the pub is bustling with locals indulging in hearty roasts and fresh pints while soaking up the riverside vibes. The bar boasts an excellent selection of beers, including options from One Mile End brewery.
We ate lunch at the White Hart yesterday with our good friends who are here from New Zealand. Fabulous old pub, excellent food, cocktails, decor & friendly staff. Best espresso martini I’ve tasted in a long time. We spent 4 hours eating, drinking & lots of talking.
Angie F — Google review
We visited the White Hart for a Sunday lunch and had high hopes, especially given its fantastic location right on the river. However there is no allocated parking but we managed to find a spot nearby. We had booked ahead and were lucky to get a table on the balcony - the views were absolutely lovely, and the setting really makes this place stand out. The pub itself is full of character – a beautiful old building over 300 years old, spread across several floors, and the atmosphere both inside and outside was warm and welcoming. Toilets were clean too, which is always a good sign. The drinks menu was impressive, with a great selection of lagers and ciders, and everything we ordered was spot on. The main letdown, unfortunately, was the food. We ordered a mix of Sunday roasts – beef, chicken, and vegetarian – as well as the rabbit terrine. My friends enjoyed the terrine, but all of us were disappointed by the roasts. While the meat and vegetables were cooked well, the dishes were completely overpowered by black pepper. It felt like seasoning had gone overboard, and the Yorkshire puddings were actually burned, which was disappointing as well. Service was a bit slow – we waited quite a while both to place our food order and then again for the food to arrive. By the time the food came, I didn’t bother sending anything back. Then we just went to the bar to pay as the waiters were quite busy. It’s a real shame, as the pub itself is gorgeous and in such a prime spot, but sadly, the food didn’t live up to expectations on this visit. Would return for drinks and the view, but probably not for the roast.

We visited The White Hart for lunch at the end of our group's ramble from Putney Bridge to Barnes Bridge. The pub didn't disappoint with a wonderful outside terrace overlooking the Thames and a lot of historical interest. Architecturally the building is beautiful and stands out on the banks of the river. Food and drink were excellent with a good selection of lunchtime items including vegetarian and vegan. There was a good selection of drinks including Young's beers on tap. Service was quick and efficient with the bar staff being very courteous. A great place to visit any time of year, especially after a long walk.

After a full day of exploring the town and hiking through the wetlands along various trails, the traditional English lunch was exactly what we needed. Served hot and flavorful on the outdoor terrace overlooking Barnes Bridge and the Thames, it made for a perfect, relaxing finale to our day, complete with a refreshing pint and a glass of wine. The outdoor ambience was lively while the indoors offered a cozy setting with soft lighting.

The Grove in Ealing is a popular spot for both locals and visitors, offering a mix of vintage charm and modern comfort. The venue features a lounge bar with a terrace, serving up a gastropub menu amid stylish vintage furniture and exposed brick walls. Situated near Ealing Green and within walking distance from Ealing Broadway station, it's known for its seasonal menus and al-fresco dining options thanks to its patio and beautiful garden surrounding the building.
This has been my go-to place for a Sunday roast (as well as occasional visits on other days) for the last few years now and it never fails! The menu is always enticing, the food always delicious and it always feels welcoming. Last year, as I was spending Christmas on my own in London, I chose The Grove for my Christmas dinner too, and it was a genuine delight. The only gripe I do have is that, as my mobility has diminished, I mostly use a wheeled frame to walk with now. Although the pub does have a wheelchair-accessible door at the side, it is very often locked and trying to attract the bartender’s attention from outside can be difficult. I quite often visit on my own so don’t usually have someone with me who can go in and either unlock it from the inside or ask staff to do it. It would be really useful if you could put a doorbell / buzzer there so I can alert the team that I need access.

I truly do not know how anyone could eat at this most horrendous pub restaurant. I ordered the most simplest food dish of fish and chips. I was extremely disappointed that the staff could present the fish as haddock! The chips were overcooked and the fish was grey, I was palmed off with “any cheap white fish of no description”. Big mistake for them, I did not pay for their cheap disgusting food and requested that the fish and chips be deleted from the bill. Everyone in our group had to send their fish and chips back and forth sorting out the chips! I categorically would not recommend this place at all. I think the staff made a mistake thinking that we were brown faced tourists with little English! Oops we were locals! And I like to talk…

The Grove is one of few places in Ealing that has an outside garden which is great. It also has a swing. The atmosphere in this pub is always great. Prices are reasonable and food has always been tasty. Tried many things such as fish and chips, wings, pies and deserts. Would highly recommend it to locals or visitors. It’s also super close to the park.

This is by far the best pub in West London - it’s lovely during winter and summer. We’ve been going to The Grove ever since we moved to Greenford. I decided to have my baby shower there in April and Rosa alongside her team made it all so special! We reserved the outdoor garden and they allowed us to come a couple of hours early to decorate the area. Staff are always friendly and helpful, it has a wonderful atmosphere! We can’t wait to go back! :)

Nice little pub with a decnt atmosphere and little pub garden. Great reception and service by friendly and attentive staff! Compliments to the kitchen staff on the Sunday Roast! No long waiting times.

Staff are friendly and very attentive. Atmosphere is great and lovely outdoor area. The only thing that let the experience down was the food. I ordered fish and chips which was quite disappointing. I’d say the chips were from a frozen bag. Also, a minuscule portion of mushy peas and curry sauce. In spite of the disappointing food, I’d absolutely come back for drinks given staff and atmosphere is great.

Food beautifully cooked. Great vegan options. I had soup of the day with warm sourdough bread starter and vegan fish & chips, delicious. Hubby also had soup of the day starter and chicken & leek pot pie which he gave 10/10. Dog friendly. Great service & atmosphere.

The interior boasts contemporary design with bright and stylish decor that will make you want to renovate your own home. The all-day spot features a whitewashed walled garden perfect for enjoying the balmy weather. The menu offers sharing plates, charcuterie boards, pasta dishes, and brunch options.
I Had a brunch today at the Chiswick Fire Station restaurant with my wife, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely excellent, with a delightful menu that offered great variety at very reasonable prices. The atmosphere was lovely, though I must mention it was slightly chilly due to the high ceilings of the spacious salon—something you might expect in such an expansive setting. However, this did not detract from our enjoyment. Staff; they were all smiles and incredibly welcoming, adding to the overall positive vibe of the place. We had such a wonderful time that we are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great brunch spot!

Over an hour for two burgers and as I’m typing this the food still hasn’t arrived. Even worse you can’t just up and leave - as the food is pre paid at the bar. Food arrived. Worst burgers I’ve had in a long time. The bread was nice and that’s about it. Patty was like a frozen McDonald’s one. How on earth it costs £18 is beyond me. This place should really try and do better. For now, avoid.

It’s really (sadly) gone downhill over the years. Had brunch the other day — food was just so-so (hollandaise was split on 2 separate plates), dust and cobwebs everywhere. Still good vibes in a great space and a decent if basic menu, just needs refreshing and some serious quality control.

We had such a lovely Saturday date night a few weeks ago. The fish was 10/10 as was the chorizo pasta my partner ordered. Wine prices were reasonable and would definitely come again! P.S parking was free after 7pm right outside.

I had such a great experience at 197 Chiswick Fire Station. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, and the space itself is really unique. The food was absolutely delicious everything was fresh, full of flavor, and well-presented. I had the roasted chicken and my friend had the seafood , and we both loved our meals. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel really welcome. You can tell they care about good service. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Chiswick. Perfect for a date night, dinner with friends, or even a relaxed weekend brunch. Highly recommend!

We had such a great experience here! The cocktails were absolutely amazing but what really stood out was the exceptional service. The manager (girl) went above and beyond attentive, warm and even took the time to play with my two kids which I truly appreciated. The food was bland but the service more than made up for it. Because of her we will definitely be coming back!

If you want a really well made cocktail then I highly recommend coming to Be At One in Richmond where Charlie and Tina make the nicest cocktails my friends and I have tasted in a long time. No watered down alcohol here !!! A few months ago Charlie made my favourite Long Island Iced Tea and I added a shot of Tequila as Be At One’s version doesn’t have Tequila in it. It was amazing and as it was Happy Hour I had another with the 2-4-1 cocktail offer. Monday night’s are £5 for Margaritas so I had one of those too. I always ask Charlie to make my Long Island Iced Tea now as he makes them perfectly. Tina made my friend’s cocktails and they were excellent too. Charlie and Tina are a good team and create a brilliant atmosphere which is hard to do anywhere on a Monday evening. Thank you so much and we’ll see you again soon on a Monday evening.

The best cocktail masterclass we have done with best staff. Five stars aren’t enough! We were absolutely blown away by the experience, thanks to our incredible barmaid Dani who was welcoming, engaging, and genuinely so fun to be around. She made everyone feel included and relaxed. Her knowledge of cocktails was impressive and she explained everything with clarity and enthusiasm. The atmosphere she created was laid-back, lively, and full of good energy. And served each customer with joy care and a smile. tali shines brighter than Willy wonka golden ticket - every bar needs a member of staff like Tali. I’m writing to raise a serious concern about my experience on Saturday night. Upon arrival, the doorman took a cash payment for entry. However, once inside, we found that the bar was already closed. When we approached the bar staff for assistance, they showed no interest in helping or addressing the situation. On leaving, I asked the doorman for a refund since we paid under the impression the bar was open. He denied taking any money at all. While the amount was small, the principle is what matters; being misled and effectively scammed is completely unacceptable. This kind of behaviour reflects poorly on the venue and raises questions about the integrity of the staff. I hope you take this seriously and ensure this doesn’t happen to other customers in the future.

Nestled in the heart of Chiswick, The Pilot is a charming traditional pub that effortlessly combines classic English elements with modern flair. Housed in an Edwardian building, it boasts light-filled interiors adorned with stripped floors and cozy sofas, creating a welcoming atmosphere perfect for relaxation. Guests can enjoy delightful British cuisine while soaking up the ambiance from the decked patio or garden room.
I had a fantastic experience at The Pilot in Chiswick. A big thank you to Sarah, Jude and Luke for their excellent service and for making a superb cappuccino and hot chocolate. The attention to detail and friendly atmosphere really stood out. The pub itself is beautifully decorated, warm and inviting, with a cosy homely feel that makes it a perfect place to unwind. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to others.

nice pub and i especially like the beer garden but food is so subpar unfortunately. burger and chips were okay but fish and chips had many bones in. the sunday roast was terrible, most items were dry, stale and tasteless. for such a high price (£24 i think), it was highly disappointing.
Nicha S — Google review
I had my 50th birthday here and booked their private function room, VIP area and secret garden. The team were lovely and all the guests were very impressed. Confirmation of booking and paying the deposit along with pre-ordering food and drink got a little more complicated than it needed with the change over of Management (twice) from time of booking to the time of the party. Buffet food was very good as were the range of drinks. My only negative, watch out for the service charge they put on the bill when setting a tab up. I should have checked when I settled the bill. I was stung for over £330 service charge. They added this to the entire bill which included people ordering from the bar!

Amazing experience. Sunday roast was beautiful. Lovely atmosphere and easy to talk. Friendly staff.

We held a family event on Saturday 28th June in their function room, with many toddlers and we had a wonderful time. All of the staff are excellent , especially those who directly looked after us. They worked very hard, on one of the hottest days of the year - especially with so many small children present. We also had a buffet which was very good. I noticed that many of the tables in the main dining area were reserved, this pub clearly has a very good reputation for good food and an excellent beer/wine selection. I really recommend it and we will return.
Chris R — Google review
We stopped here for a quick snack and drink whilst in the area. This second you walk in this pub you can feel it’s going to be nice from the atmosphere and decor. Ordered drinks from the bar, staff were friendly and chatty. We sat and just ordered a few tapas bits to share, all looked lovely and tasted even better. Staff came back to check on food and were always in view if we needed anything. Shame we don’t live closer as I would love a local like this. Thumbs up and I would highly recommend a visit.

Terrible food-a place for drinks is nice as you can sit outside but don’t eat here! Fish is soggy, not fresh and small proportion. Gnocchi costs £17 and it tastes as if it was cooked a day ago, and hardly any taste except vinegar! It was a good pub before but now it charges so much with much lower quality. It’s a shame

Can't sing their praises more highly - we had a family party here and the team were fantastic at helping organise as well as on the night, ensuring we were all looked after as well as making sure everything went smoothly, right down to writing a birthday card for my daughter. The Turk's Head in Twickenham is a family-friendly pub and restaurant with a spacious garden featuring a children's play area. The establishment has hosted various performances, including musical and comedic acts in its adjoining Winchester Hall. It also played a significant role in supporting artists affected by the Eel Pie Island fire. The interior layout includes a saloon bar, restaurant, and events hall that hosts live music and comedy nights. Additionally, there is an extensive L-shaped beer garden with a children's playground.
Profession purpose built outdoor wood extension cabin, with thick waterproof hard-wearing blue material walls, internally heated with both floor seated blowers and ceiling mounted electric heat lamps placed strategically around the cabin to make perfect use of convection physics. Large quantity of 2 gang sockets and large 55" led driven televisions showing numerous sports related games. Staff were great, food was great, very busy on game and other Twickenham event days. Live music.

Lovely people, lovely pub! Nuff said!!! The Turk's Head, at the north end of Twickenham is a lovely place to visit. A Fuller's pub of large dimensions. A great bar and superb, covered outdoor area. The staff are most welcoming and great at their job. Also, even the PDQ machine worked without a hitch (cradled). Fine beer and everything you would hope for from the Chiswick based Brewery (and estate guardians).

I really like this pub. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious alongside a lovely garden with outdoor seating . Although we ordered kids garlic bread and it wasn’t as massive as the low taper fade . The burger was a good size and very sigma tho .

Change of management here has definitely seen a decline. Claire and her team were highly visible and always on hand. Have only seen the new guy once or twice and you’d barely know the place has a manager. Whilst the menu has never been terribly inspiring, food quality has seen a downturn in the last few months. Waited nearly 50mins for a cold dry burger at last nights quiz. The usual cheery and enthusiastic staff seem to have been replaced with surly uninterested drones. Despite having table numbers laid out around the function room, big clear font on white placards on a stand, I got to watch my burger sail past as two different inattentive staff members carried around the room searching for our number. Only to ignore me waving at them. It was only when I got up and approached them that they took any notice. But no apology or any vague interest. If it had been worth my effort I’d have complained about the quality of the food. But I wasn’t sure anyone would be bothered enough to make a difference. What once was a great pub, now seems to be just another cog in a corporate profit machine. And for the price you’d expect better. We’ll eat before quizzing going forward.
Chris W — Google review
Tried this place for the first time despite the mixed reviews. Service was friendly, which was a positive start. I ordered the Haddock and a Steak Sandwich along with some drinks. The Haddock and chips was good — no complaints there. Unfortunately, the Steak Sandwich was disappointing, especially at £14.50. The onions weren’t caramelised as expected, and it was served on standard sliced bread (not bloomer as per the menu), which really brought down the experience. Will not visit again.

I was at Bulstrode for a private engagement party in their garden facilities. Great atmosphere. The food brought out was buffet food but the sheekh kebabs, wings and chicken tikka were amazing. Fully stocked bar and friendly bar staff. I want to go back and try the other food on the menu. Small but free parking area. Just tell the staff and they will register your car.

A Hidden Gem with Incredible Food and Atmosphere I visited this pub recently and was blown away by the experience. We sat in the beautiful pub garden, which was the perfect setting – peaceful, charming, and full of character. The highlight was the Indian food – absolutely delicious, freshly prepared, and bursting with authentic flavours. Every dish was perfectly cooked and presented with care. The service was just as impressive – warm, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. The staff genuinely went the extra mile to make sure we had a great time. From the gorgeous ambiance to the fantastic food and exceptional service, this place delivers on every level. A really nice pub with a great atmosphere and a beautiful garden. The staff were very friendly, so I'm leaving 5 stars. The only downside was that we waited over 40 minutes for chips and samosas, even though it wasn't that busy. But overall, I definitely recommend it!

Food, drinks and service was nice, but the pub itself is dodgy. Not the safest place for women - security are polite, but not active in protecting the safety of women. Doubt I'd go again.

Visited in November 2021 while staying the night in Hounslow before an early morning flight back to the states. A friend of mine recommended the Bulstrode Pub despite not having been in 20+ years, so I figured it was a bit of a roll of the dice. It was lively, but not packed and was able to secure a table extremely easily. Several pale ales and dinner from the Indian menu later I have to say this was a really good decision! The food was outstanding and the drinks kept coming; can you ask for anything more?
Robert G — Google review
Wonderful pub/restaurant a minutes walk from Houslow Central tube station on the Piccadilly line. The food (mostly Indian, some small British offerings) is incredibly good quality with generous portion sizes. The Tikka Masala is absolutely divine 😍. Reasonable enough prices as well. Order at the bar from the very friendly staff and they will bring the order to you. I would literally make it my business to come here next time I'm in London and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a decent Indian dinner (arriving off the plane from Heathrow) to drop in. They have a good selection of drinks but no cask ales unfortunately. London Pride was available in bottles, so not all was lost. But it has the look of a real ale pub. Anyway, if passing by why not drop in, I will be back for sure, trust me you wont disappointed ☺️
Mark P — Google review
This pub is just a couple of steps away from the underground station. I highly recommend it to transit travelers who are bored from the hotel bars and want to try something local and authentic, as well as cheaper. The bar has a mix of styles, with a British pub vibe and an authentic Indian food menu. It has a good capacity for both indoor and outdoor guests, and it even has a dancing floor well equipped for parties. They seem to throw some theme nights with live music and DJ performances. This is my first visit to this place, and I’m giving them four stars. I hope to return in the evening sometime soo during peak hours to give them a more accurate rating, either higher or lower.

We recently hosted a staff party at Dog & Fox and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. She made it such a wonderful experience and we will definitely be coming back!

A nice pub, a little pricey for what's on offer food/drink wise but that is probably due to the desirable location. It's a nice place to sit to enjoy a drink or take part in their weekly quiz, the outside areas can be nice in the summer but often busy. Have had lunch/dinner in the dining room a couple of times, again while it's a nice place to sit, the food is not particularly special. EDIT: Thank you for your reply and generous offer re the small plates, very kind of you! Unfortunately we have had to cancel tonight as a couple of the people on the team are unwell, but we'll be back for another quiz soon!

Sunday roast was good. Service very slow. Waited an hour for a kid’s cheesy pasta for our 3 year old despite following up on the order several times. Half our groups' food arrived almost 10 minutes after the first half. Supervisor verging on confrontational when asked about it. Manager apologised at the end of our meal and gave the kids' food on the house, which was appreciated, but it honestly still didn't represent good value in my eyes at 34 pounds per adult for one course and a beer when we were having to work hard to stop our kids losing it and digging out half eaten sandwiches from our bags while waiting for food that got to the table 1hr 15 mins after we arrived.

While food and coffee quality is crtical for a café, it's also the service of smiling helpful staff that makes all the difference between a great or mediocre visit. The Post Room was a great experience for me, at the end of a long journey and early start to the day.

Great cozy cafe. The staff and owner are so friendly. Had the best Turkish eggs I’ve tried in London and the lemon olive oil cake was moist and light.

Perfect place for brunch and coffee, only a couple of minutes walk from Turnam Green station. The place is quite cozy and staff is friendly. I tried the lemon/almond olive oil cake and it was delicious!!! Want to return and try sandwiches!!

Really nice specialty coffee, a local gem in Chiswick. Had an oat flat white, excellent. Was quite and calm on a weekday, very pleased.

This is a local hidden gem. The food is absolutely delish - especially the Turkish eggs. The service is friendly, the owner is superb, and the coffee is good. Artwork on the wall changes frequently to promote local artists or events. A Chiswick must visit

Nestled on a serene, tree-lined street just moments from the heart of Isleworth, The Victoria Tavern stands as a cherished neighborhood pub with roots dating back to the 19th century. This inviting establishment boasts an exposed brick interior and a charming courtyard garden adorned with historic photographs that reflect its rich heritage. While it honors traditional British pub culture, The Victoria Tavern also embraces modernity by offering an ever-changing selection of local and international craft beers alongside classic lagers and ales.
Walking back from the rugby at Twickenham, trying to escape the crush, their little sign offered sanctuary! Great service, wonderful band, Tinsel the Pub Dog! Lovely big garden! Can’t say enough. Just pop in for a pint and you’ll see! Thank you!

Restaurant
The Thai Swan Isleworth is a popular spot in west London for those craving authentic Thai cuisine. The restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring classic dishes like Yum Nuer Yang, Pad Nam Prik Phao, Pad Thai, and Thai spicy chicken wings. With its large pub atmosphere, it's an ideal place for a casual Asian lunch or even a party gathering. Customers appreciate the friendly staff and reasonable prices, making it a great option for those looking to enjoy delicious Thai food without breaking the bank.
Amazing Thai food - I’m Asian myself and yes…this is the real deal in terms of taste and variety. Chicken wings and Pad Thai out of this world! I also love the duck spicy rice, delicious and lovely people too!
Zinmar A — Google review
Nice traditional pub with very friendly staff. The Thai food was good, at least as good as most pub Thai cuisine so I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 star rating as it falls short of the best Thai restaurant food I've had. The Pad Thai was particularly nice. Prices are reasonable and there is some sort of lunch deal available between 12pm-3pm Monday to Saturday.
Steven S — Google review
I ordered Thai food from justeat quite some time ago, after I successfully ordered many times before (unfortunately I can't change my rating on justeat). Only this time I was violently ill by food poisoning, woke up at 3 am vomiting and had a high temperature. I cannot even imagine what could have possibly caused it, if poor hygiene or else.
Diana R — Google review
As a food reviewer with experience across a range of Thai cuisine establishments in London and the UK, my recent visit to the Thai Swan Inn in Isleworth was unfortunately disappointing. Upon arrival, the service set an underwhelming tone. The bartender, who also took our order, seemed far more engaged with alcohol-related orders, displaying little enthusiasm or attentiveness towards food inquiries. While some casualness is expected in a pub setting, the overall service felt unwelcoming, which immediately contrasted with the positive experiences noted in other reviews of this location. Focusing on the food, we ordered the Gai Prik Tai Dum (Sizzler dish), Chilli and Holy Basil Chicken, accompanied by sticky rice. The total bill came to £30. From my experience with Thai cuisine across various reputed locations, the dishes at Thai Swan Inn fell short of expectations. The flavors appeared heavily reliant on artificial oyster sauce, overshadowing the natural balance and freshness typically characteristic of authentic Thai cooking. Comparatively, places such as Thai Upon Thames near Richmond offer far superior Thai cuisine at similar price points, making the disparity in quality quite noticeable. In terms of cost-to-quality ratio, I would assess it at approximately 0.1, reflecting poor value for money. In other nearby Thai establishments, the ratio would comfortably approach 1.0 — indicating excellent value and authentic culinary experiences. In summary, while the Thai Swan Inn may serve its purpose as a local pub, for those seeking high-quality Thai food, it falls short both in service and in culinary authenticity.

Went back to The Swan today for a Sunday Carvery for the first time in a while, and what a disappointment. In its prime this was the best roast in town - plenty of meat and you'd help yourself to a good range of veg. This changed when the pub changed hands, and then everything was served to you, but at least the professional chef still carved meat for you. Today the new set up is that everything is served by bar staff, with the guy cutting the joints looking like he's never cut anything before. You are told that you can get three slices of meat, which can be all the same or from a choice of beef, gammon, pork and turkey (lamb is available but at a surcharge). A 'slice' turned out to be the smallest and thinnest flake of meat you have ever seen - more a scrap than a slice, as you didn't even get full slice since the guy cutting couldn't actually cut it properly. You did get a good selection of veg and a Yorkshire pudding, but that did not make up the the miserly portion of meat. At the new price of £17.25 for three slices of meat (I think it was £19.75 if you wanted to include lamb), the amount of meat given was just unacceptable and it was just not value for money. My entire party thought the same as I did - that there was no way were are coming back again for a Sunday carvery if this is the new offering! Such a shame, as the Thai food during the week is excellent, though I know that is prepared and served by what I would say are properly trained chefs!
Alastair P — Google review
Went for family dinner tonight and food was absolutely amazing! Didn’t had such a nice and tasty Thai in a very long time around the area. Highly recommend!
Gracjana N — Google review
I've ordered from this restaurant more than a handful of times, however, my most recent experience means I'll never order from them again. The prawn and pork dumplings were like rubber so that was a total waste of over £5. The main course, I had ordered before, so that was a safe bet. This came served with a large black hair which was absolutely disgusting. The whole lot went in the bin before I even had a mouthful. It's a shame because I was happy to support a local business. Not any more!

The food was absolutely delicious; I've never had such lovely home-cooked Thai food before. Plus, the staff are really welcoming, friendly and helpful. Overall a fantastic dinner.

We used Phil’s services for my 50th birthday party at our home. From the start Phil was very helpful and always replied promptly to my messages. Nearer the date we spoke on the phone to confirm the cocktails etc and Phil sent a great list of what we needed to purchase and the quantities. On the night Michael and Tim arrived on time, set up for hour and then we had two hours of the most amazing cocktails, they were very professional but also very friendly with all the guests. They cleared up as best they could afterwards. Overall I could not fault anything, everyone loved it, perfect and highly, highly recommended :)

I can’t recommend this company more highly! They were fantastic. The communication with Phil was excellent from the beginning. He was so helpful with the choice of cocktails and also provided a really comprehensive shopping list of what was needed. The servers on the evening (Sergio and Moss) were so lovely. They engaged with everyone and made all our guests feel welcome. The cocktails were fab. We will be booking you again for our next party!! Thank you so much for your attention to detail and good value!

Fabulous service - Phil talked me through cocktail options and sent a shopping list in advance for us to purchase all the supplies. On the day Phil and Corrie arrived promptly, set up in our kitchen and served spot on cocktails all night; we were really impressed with their mixology skills and everyone enjoyed the indulgent experience. Also thanks for clearing up and providing vases full of cocktails before you left. We are already thinking about next year’s party.

We booked Bartender Inc for our Christmas drinks held on the 3rd of Dec, this is the 2nd time we use them for our parties and we were very satisfied with the timely response, delivery and collection of the stuff. Phil is really on the ball. The cocktails on the night were delicious and Andy our bartender was more then fabulous. He made perfect cocktails in a quick and efficient manner. He doesn't get stressed if there a few guests ordering at the same time. He was also very friendly and fun to our guests. I will highly recommend Bartender Inc and will hopefully use them again at our next party.

I booked Bartenders Inc for a cocktail party for my son's 21st. From the very first phone call to the follow up email Bartenders Inc were amazing . So efficient and incredibly helpful with every stage of the planning . The advice on glass size and hire was so helpful . The shopping list was brilliant as Phil provided links to suppliers of specialist products . On the evening Stephanie arrived and she was an absolute star . She made the process of serving six different cocktails to a group of 35 people seem effortless . She was great fun and at the end of the evening very patiently gave several quite merry 20 year old boys a cocktail master class ! If you want a bartender then I cannot recommend them highly enough .

I have been going to Ravina for years now for everything and I couldn’t recommend her enough. She is professional and extremely good at what she does, to the point that I don’t even check myself in the mirror afterwards. I trust her judgement with everything, from my eyebrow shape to hair style. I started my laser journey with Ravina a few months ago and it has honestly been the best decision because she is just so good at delivering the treatment and her equipment is high quality as well. I’ve also started going to Ravina for my hair cuts and dyed my hair for the first time with Ravina as well and I’m beyond happy with the results. Let this be your sign to book in with Ravina now.

For someone who has struggled to find a good laser technician in other chains, I am very happy with the results after just a few sessions! I would highly recommend Beauty Angels for a reliable and professional service!

Nestled in a charming setting, the Bulstrode Pub is an easygoing bar and restaurant that effortlessly combines Indian cuisine with classic British fare. During my recent visit, I was captivated by its delightful pub garden, which exudes a peaceful charm and character. The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the Indian dishes—each one freshly prepared and bursting with authentic flavors that left me craving more. The service matched the quality of the food; it was warm and attentive without being overbearing.
If you’re looking for somewhere to relax, enjoy amazing Indian cuisine, and feel truly looked after, I can’t recommend it enough. I’ll definitely be coming back – and bringing friends along next time!

Food, drinks and service was nice, but the pub itself is dodgy. Not the safest place for women - security are polite, but not active in protecting the safety of women. Doubt I'd go again.

Prajul S — Google review
A really nice pub with a great atmosphere and a beautiful garden. The staff were very friendly, so I'm leaving 5 stars. The only downside was that we waited over 40 minutes for chips and samosas, even though it wasn't that busy. But overall, I definitely recommend it!
Sylwia P — Google review

Don’t let the outside of the pub fool you needs more then a lick of paint but the food is wonderful, had the Indian mixed grill with a lamb wrap couldn’t fault it , staff were great just what my daughter needed before her flight to Oz .plus 25% off for lunchtime .I’ll definitely be back.

Very tasty with one of my favorite tartar sauces. Highly recommended. A little off the beaten path on the Departures level, but seek it out.

I think The Oceanic Pub & Kitchen is a classic airport restaurant — it's convenient, reliable, and a bit less hectic than the rest. The service was a bit slow, but I appreciate that they're not rushed, and I had time to sit back and enjoy myself. The atmosphere is much more relaxed than many other places in the terminal, making it a great spot for a proper meal.

Very friendly and professional service. The food is excellent and the location is very well decorated, modern and clean. The service was very quick. The food arrive in less than 10 minutes. We took some chicken and the tacos with the brisket meat. The smoothies were also great.

I love to sit at the bar area when travelling alone.....but come on guys....do something about your bar stools / high chairs... total disgrace...falling to pieces (see pics)....probably unsafe... Food as expected ..OK - drinks selection..... unbelievable that I couldn't order sweet vermouth on the rocks ...I was sitting in front of a full bottle but apparently there's no 'button' for it so it can only be sold if made a part of a cocktail..... or I get charged for a shot of whisky instead.....what????? Get it together please 🙏🏻

I had a lovely time at the Oceanic Pub and Kitchen. Manpreet and Delisha were wonderful and very helpful. The food arrived very quickly too. Will definitely stop by the next time I'm at Heathrow :)

Aurica, Myron, and Rina are absolutely helpful and made the dining experience exceptional. Great food with even greater service makes for an excellent experience.

My husband and I were quite impressed with the welcome we received from Myron. He made us feel relaxed and exuded confidence in his work. Food and drinks were served very hot by Austin and Aurica. They were all professional in their manner. Will definitely recommend and visit again. We both enjoyed our meals .

The Brewery Tap is a charming, traditional pub located by the riverside just off Brentford High Street. It offers a cozy atmosphere and welcomes both dogs and families. The pub hosts live music events at least four nights a week, featuring various genres such as jazz, rock, folk, soul, and Irish music. Guests can enjoy a great selection of drinks while indulging in delicious award-winning Santa Maria pizzas served directly to their table.
The best pub in Brentford. Hands down. The staff, the food, the options and the service are all amazing. Off the high street, across from the river, leaving the atmosphere quiet and speak easy. Really family friendly, my children were so well looked after and both loved the food! It isn’t my local but i will treat it as such. The addition of the pizza is incredible. Cant wait to be back!

A quirky little pub! Cosy, small and when we attended, an elderly gentleman playing away on the piano was so good to see. The pizza here is very good! The base holds up to the toppings, even as these pizzas have more cheese than other similar ones across London. The dips were also very good. Will be coming back!

I absolutely love this little London pub. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. One of the few pubs where you can still watch live music. You must try the pizza by their resident pizza chef Dr Dough Pizza. It’s the best in London and that’s not an exaggeration. I recommend booking for the pizza as it absolutely flies out of the kitchen and you wouldn’t want to be disappointed if they run out. I recommend the pepperoni with hot honey drizzle!

We hosted our wedding celebrations (speeches, cake cutting, band and dancing) at the Brewery Tap after our registry office ceremony. They could not have been better! The staff were friendly, helpful, and Annie (the landlady) just made it such an easy and calm experience. The band and the lady who baked our cake both commented on how accommodating and helpful the pub were in set up. There was a quiet area at the back for the parents with babies to get comfy, a room where people could sit and chat, outside with all the lovely sparkly lights and of course the dance floor and bar. Would recommend to anyone for their event (a few guests have already commented that they want their next big party there too!) The photos sum up the blurry joy of the night.

Fantastic spot in Brentford! Great atmosphere, lovely staff and the pizza’s are sensational! Pizza’s are such a fantastic size, great value of money for the size they are! Can’t wait to go back.

Great pub with a decent Guinness and some serious pizza! Make sure you pre book as the pizza can sell out fast. Highly highly recommend!

A hidden gem in a quiet spot at the back of Brentford. We came for pizza (on multiple occasions now) and stayed for the ambiance and friendly community vibes. The pub is family and dog friendly, so expect to see a few cute puppers around! They have great indoor and outdoor space (the outdoor space is to the front of the pub) and is particularly pretty at night with the overhead lights. Their new pizza residency has delicious new york style pizza. You can get two slices for £7 or a 18" starts at £24 for a Marg (when sharing between 2 people makes for a affordable option) There's a variety of add ons and dips to choose from to make it your own - The maple chipotle dip being my favourite. They can also accommodate for half & half on 18"s too for the best of both! Great pub and playlist to match (with live music on specific dates)

The pub is very friendly and great in the sunshine. Dr. Dough pizza is honestly one of the best! Get there quick or reserve
