Beach
Outdoor Activities
Spiaggia di Porto Giunco is a stunning beach located in the southeast coast of Sardinia, Italy. It features fine white sand and calm, incredibly blue waters that merge with the sky. The beach is famous for its pink hues derived from granite fragments and is home to a population of pink flamingos in the nearby lagoon. This tropical-like beach has been recognized as one of the most beautiful in Italy and has served as a backdrop for commercials and films due to its picturesque colors.
Beautiful beach, with crystal, calm water and beautiful landscape. The only downside is the parking which cost 10 euro visiting at the end of September . But I can see the appeal. It must be really crowded during the summer which would put people off.
Ana T — Google review
The water is absolutely paradise, but the beach is way too crowded, which makes it hard to fully enjoy. Only paid showers are available, and parking costs 10 €. There are definitely better options for beaches on the island if you’re looking for a more relaxing experience.
Xlavimell — Google review
Superb place, incredible beautiful water colors, a type of beach where you can enjoy all day, plus find good food & drinks for decent prices on the beach. As well suitable for all kids who can play in the water safely.
George L — Google review
by far our favorite beach in villasimius area after visiting a few of them!! the water is perfectly crystal clear with no seaweed and we thought there was plenty of room, not as crowded as other beaches!!
Sierra W — Google review
Great beach, lots of sand and nice water. Beautiful Cliffs around this beach. Unless you want to walk a ways it does cost $6-10 euros to park close, and $25 euros to get an umbrella by the beach. Has a bar and some food also.
Marty M — Google review
The water of the sea is really clear and crystal, the sea is amazing! The beach is overall okey because there’s not much facilities like toilets (there’s only one public toilet which is 50 cent) or shower. The beach clubs are extremely expensive. There are 3 of them, two of them are offering 2 beds and 1 umbrella nearly 40 euros, but it’s impossible to find places after 13:00. Also, the Delfino beach club is crazy expensive like 2 sunbeds with big umbrella is 180 euro (the normal umbrella ones are already sold out after 13:00). If you have your own beach blanket to sit and umbrella, recommend to go there! One more thing: parking for a car costs 10 euro.
Derya K — Google review
Very nice beach but the parking is 10€ even if you want to stay an hour. I don’t think it was worth it to be honest. The kiosks around are terrible and the chairs and umbrellas extremely overpriced.
Greendelulu — Google review
Beautiful beach, amazing water good bar to eat and have a drink at the end of a marvellous day

Pullman Timi Ama

Beach
Pullman Timi Ama is a stunning and unique beach located between Campus and Porto Giunco in Villasimius. The landscape is characterized by mountains in the background, calm waters of the Notteri pond on the left, and vibrant Mediterranean vegetation adorning the dunes. Families with young children are drawn to this beach due to its shallow waters.
The resort is big and well equipped. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room is spacious, breakfast has wide choices, food at the restaurants is delicious, pool is nice, service is good and the beach is AMAZING! The water is crystal clear! The beach is actually just less than 10-min-walk, but the hotel arranges frequent shuttle, which is ideal for lazy people like us 😂 The Spa is also very lovely, we especially like the circle flow at the salty warm pool. My husband and I had a wonderful 8-day-holiday there.
Cristie H — Google review
Beautiful beach. Water is pristine and the sand is soft. What more could you ask for
Vlada S — Google review
One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at and we’ve been to a few, sandals in the Caribbean included. I would say the pullman matches all of these, and Sardinia is absolutely stunning
Andrew W — Google review
Nice beach, but too crowded in August. Sunbeds and umbrellas prices are astronomical
Oleksandr T — Google review
Five star hotel that has a lot to offer. Starting with professional staff, continues with very comfortable rooms, especially beds, large swimming pool area, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island and delicious cuisine. And so much more. The area also offers many interesting places to see, so I can only recommend it for a perfect vacation.
Kamila Č — Google review
Beautiful beach with rocks, sunbeds and mountain landscape
Marcel S — Google review
Beautiful beach and rock formations! It gets busy so worth walking to the far end near the rocks where it’s also mire sheltered from the breeze. Highly recommend!
Anna G — Google review
(Not sure why this place doesn’t show the name Dolphin club as it is where the pin on the map is, but anyway) First day we came here we were a bit overwhelmed by the prices (€55 for 2ppl/day) but it was so worth it that we came back the next day too. Super comfortable sun beds and probably the biggest parasols in entire Villasimius. Possible to pay by card for sun beds and at the cafe. You also get access to a toilet by the beach (leaving either €20 in cash or your ID). Felt safe leaving our belongings on our sun beds while swimming in paradise ☀️

Villaggio Camping Spiaggia del Riso Villasimius Sardegna is a charming seafront property that offers various accommodation options such as campsites, bungalows, and rooms for rent. The picturesque grounds overlook the stunning sea of Sardinia with direct access to a private beach and views of the islet of Piscadeddu. The unique dwelling features three bedrooms and bears resemblance to ancient Sardinian constructions.
Nice and cozy camping with clean facilities, a lot of beautiful beaches around, much bigger market than in other campings and city center within 2km reach
Mantas K — Google review
Decent cabins with fridge and hot water. Our cabin also had air con.
Lori G — Google review
The camping spaces are tiny and cramped, and there are two busy roads next to the camping, meaning noise at all times. The other campers were also very loud and rowdy until the late night hours. They make you wear a wristband to be able to walk around the campsite and the gate gets shut at midnight so you can't even reach the closest toilets. Wifi is paid extra (separately for each device!) and the quality is poor. The beach is quite close (probably the only redeeming quality) but has a weird smell coming from the harbour. Toilets are okay but weren't the cleanest and you need to pay extra for hot showers. We escaped after one night - would definitely not recommend.
Basia K — Google review
Amazing location with several easily accessible beaches. Bungalows are very cosy, tidy and clean. There are two cafes, two restaurants, and a grocery where you can find everything you need. All staff is always friendly, kind and helpful. Me and my family spent one week there and we had a great time. Highly recommended!
Valerio V — Google review
Fastest pizza ever, waited less than 5mins. Good campsite, but there's a busy road along the tent spaces. They have a market woth fresh croissants in 5he morning and any other things a camper might need. Good and clean Washrooms. In total really good just only 4 points as the tent spaces were not as beautiful as in certain other campsites.
Marcel S — Google review
Just for camping it was relatively expensive. In face of the price there was no toiletpaper or warm water. I think for families it's nice that there is an animation schedule but for coming down it's not that cool to hear all that stuff until 11:30pm (probably later). But it's clean and you have a beach very close to the campingground.
Christoph S — Google review
This campsite is spacious and has access to two beaches. One is a bit small, the other one near the harbor a lot better. Staff is friendly and attentive. The amenities were oke and clean but I missed simple toilet paper. And no WiFi on the campsite. It is 2022, this feels to most younger travellers as important as electricity, running water, etc. With WiFi it would be five stars.
Martijn — Google review
Really loud and you need to pay the showers extra. But it is clean. It is also really full also in the off season. So yeah to stay one night to get straight on the road again it might be ok but to go and make a week vacation here i would not recommend to do that.

Spiaggia del Riso

4.3

Public beach
Spiaggia del Riso, also known as The Rice Beach due to the shape of its sand grains, is a popular spot in Villasimius. This beach is part of the Protected Marine Area of Capo Carbonara and offers a picturesque setting with clear waters and unique rock formations. Visitors can explore stone age tombs carved into the rock face and various landmarks in the surrounding village.
It is a beautiful area, however very crowded and busy. Better beaches elsewhere that are free.
Lesley H — Google review
Clearest water and not so crowded!
Gabriel N — Google review
Spiaggia del riso is a small beach in an amazing area of south Sardinia. Good position for exploring the rest of the area, where you can find beaches more beautiful than spiaggia del riso :)
Valentina L — Google review
Small but very nice beach, normally the water is calmer than on other beaches nearby since it is in a sheltered location.
Massimo B — Google review
Beautiful location. The menu & food is small but very nice & fresh. Totally recommendation to this point. The service was aweful and there is much potential. My first course & aperitiv came together. The first course of my bf came after I finished. We were offered the dessert menu only to have it taken away two minutes later by another waiter. ( and yes I tried to order dessert & coffee like the second bottle of water I had to ask for three times ). I know we looked aweful in sports attire, all sweaty and to be rejected due to our dress would have been totally fine. Still we spent 80,00 for an easy lunch and would have loved to spend more. But to mess up our lunch with bad service, ignoring us, bringing food seperate and actually not serving us anymore after some point: disappointing. I just hope you all had a bad day and that this is not the everyday situation. Would definately give it another try.
Blåckfisk _ — Google review

It’s great, there is a camping nearby. Small beach, you can walk by the rocks to find another small beach

Outdoor Activities
Nestled along the southeastern coast of Sardinia, Punta Molentis Beach is a stunning destination that captivates visitors with its unique charm. This picturesque spot features a striking contrast between the soft white sands and the vibrant blue and turquoise waters, creating an idyllic setting reminiscent of tropical paradises. The beach's horseshoe shape is framed by granite rocks and lush Mediterranean vegetation, offering both relaxation and adventure for those who visit.
1st of May, more crowded than we hoped for, but still very nice experience. Water was cold, it's still spring, however we went in several times. Colors of water are incredible. Definitely worth visiting during off season
Ivan I — Google review
Not worth it! Paying 15 euro for parking, and another optional 35 euro for renting an umbrella with loungers. The beach is nice but overfilled with people and there is confined space where you can swim, and the rest of the beach is reserved for boats. In Sardinia are much better and nicer places to see for free.
Petr D — Google review
Great looking beach with 2 different environment, on one side you have the sand, on the other side rocks and deep blue sea. On the sandy side you have a hint of pink sand. The only negative part is that it’s about crowded, even now end of June. Other thing is that significant part of the beach is reserved for boats.
Barnabás B — Google review
Simply a magnificent beach. Snow-white sand, clear sea, magnificent views. You can see many different fish in the water. The downside is that there are no sun loungers, and they charge €15 for parking. Although there are no services on the beach.
Ramina — Google review
Fantastic beach with differing aspects - You have the sandy beach (which is quite busy), and the pebble beach (which is pretty deserted). The pebble beach has a lovely cliff-top walk that lets you look down over both beaches. The parking is about 7EUR (I think), but gets you free parking for the whole day throughout Villasimius. There are a couple of bar/snack shacks as well if you need refreshments.
Paul M — Google review
One side was clean and has no waves... perfect for babies and other side has many dirt... so the clean side was really good. Has parking and 3-4 mins walking to reach the beach. There is tape water before leaving to the parking to clean ur feet from sand
Ola G — Google review
Beautiful sandy beach, but too crowded even in June during weekdays. Parking 15€/day.
Đorđe G — Google review
Even in September it’s best to arrive early if you want to secure your ideal spot, as it can get quite crowded. The beach itself is very beautiful, with clear water that’s great for snorkeling and plenty of space once you’re in the sea.

Amazing location, very clean. Staff is very pleasant and professional, I don't know about other reviews, and it is because it is just the beginning of the season, but we came here the second time and drove over an hour. We didn't eat yet but coffee, wien is brilliant. As well when you look at the location it is not expensive at all. You can park 50m from the beach for 5 euro, as well, very pleasant staff. Felt very welcome, and we will be back for sure.
Maja B — Google review
👎Reservation? Sure. The hostess took our number, promised to call. After 40 minutes of radio silence, we found our number crossed out in the book – apparently she “couldn’t reach us.” Great start. We finally got seated – the menu had been wiped clean. My partner received a child-sized portion of pasta, and I got a salad with canned tuna – literally one tablespoon, as if it were being rationed. Prices like a fine restaurant, quality like a school trip lunch. Clueless service, laughable portions. If you enjoy disappointment on a plate and chaos as a side dish – be my guest. Everyone else: run.
Terézia K — Google review
If you’re looking for a dining experience right by the beach, this restaurant is an absolute gem. The food is nothing short of amazing — every dish is bursting with flavor and presented beautifully. The service is just as impressive: the staff is attentive, professional, anticipating your needs before you even ask. The only downside is that the restaurant is almost always crowded, which can mean waiting for a table or dealing with a lively, sometimes noisy atmosphere. If you don’t mind the buzz of a packed house, the overall experience is more than worth it. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great food paired with beach views!
Iuliaaa — Google review
Food is good, place and atmosphere as well.. but come on to bill the knives and forks on restaurant??? … is it a joke or something? When I asked the waitress about extra 8 euros in the bill - she said it was for the fork! Are you supposed that visitors would eat pasta with their hands? If you are a restaurant, then act accordingly.
Olgako K — Google review
An amazing beach and beach club. We spent the day on the beds and had an amazing meal at the restaurant.
Salman A — Google review
Was not impressed here. Service is poor and drinks quite expensive. The sea is very choppy. Reminded me of Brighton. Too many people on the beach. Would not visit here again
Itsuitz — Google review
Even one star is too much for here. Everything is so expensive the taste is worst , service is very poor. They suppose to be italian restaurant whatever we ask for order as pasta they said it finished. It took 40 min to bring one fries. When we have the check we noticed that they put extra 10,50 eur for table tax. Must be joke 😄 for the first time we heard ‘tax of table’. They fool people. Long story short dont come.
Perihan B — Google review
Not necessarily spectacular but we were treated with courtesy by the staff in a busy day, and they were kind with our children. Some may argue the prices, but the menu is available online for everyone to see. If you don’t agree, probably the best shot is Villasimius but, at the beach, this is what you get

Nestled along the stunning coastline, Ristorante "I Ginepri" offers a delightful blend of traditional Sardinian and Italian cuisine in a spacious setting that features al fresco dining with breathtaking beach views. The restaurant is perfect for enjoying uncomplicated lunches that transition into hearty, elevated meals as the sun sets. As evening approaches, the atmosphere comes alive with vibrant live music and DJs spinning tunes, creating an unforgettable dining experience.
An excellent and exclusive restaurant. We had lunch (3 courses) and dinner (4 courses) there, despite not beeing guests of the Pullman Timi Ama Hotel, which the restaurant is part of. We enjoyed a really great time and unique experience eating there. The food is exquisite, very fresh, as well as cooked and presented in an exceptional quality. Especially Matteo Zucca, who prepared our fish at the table, was one of the best and most professional waiters we ever had and made our dinner really something special. Pro: Very friendly and professional service, exceptional food, great atmosphere and view, appropriate price. Contra/Feedback: People at the table next to us were smoking. Making the terrace non-smoking would fit your excellent food even better.
Frank N — Google review
😱Don’t be fooled by the Google rating!! The restaurant has changed management (and probably the chef). We paid premium prices for food that wouldn’t pass in a basic local spot. Cold mashed potatoes (€12), a burnt steak, bland vegetables, and stuffed squid with zero flavor. I only ate out of politeness, thanks to the genuinely kind and professional staff. It was meant to be a special birthday dinner, which made it even more disappointing. Great service, but the food was a disaster. Never again. What’s most shocking is that with such polished service and high-end pricing, you’d expect the food to follow, but it was the complete opposite. Excellent staff, yes, but the meal itself was a disaster. Never again.
Thereservedme — Google review
What you would expect for a restaurant attached to a hotel! Decent food and very high prices, there wasn’t many others dining but the service was very friendly- we were even greeted with a handshake when we walked in. I’ve never experienced that before. We made a reservation through hotel so sat right away and ordered linguine with clams, swordfish, and (accidentally) the entire red snapper, head and tail included, even though they tried to explain to us it’s priced per gram. Oh well! It was tasty anyways. They deboned it at our table which was like a whole show.
Rylie S — Google review
We stayed at the Almar Timi and was part of their selection of restaurants and as was at the beach, with the close proximity, decided to have lunch here. What a disappointment. Walked in and was completely ignored — no greeting, no menu, nothing. Sat there for 10 minutes before anyone bothered to acknowledge me, and when they finally did, all they did was drop a QR code on the table. The prices are outrageous for what you get. Water is €5 (yes, €5 for water!), and the Fregolone with the best from our seas was €28 for a very average plate of tiny pasta balls with a bit of squid, tuna, and mussels. Nothing memorable at all — except how overpriced it was. And the service? Nonexistent. Staff seemed more interested in clearing up and resetting tables than actually serving customers (this was before 3pm which was the afternoon closing tome ). After being ignored again, we ended up walking to the counter ourselves just to pay. When I gave feedback about the slow service, it barely registered. Overpriced, average food, and staff who make you feel like you’re an inconvenience. Never again.
Travelling D — Google review
Because it is located and operated by the hotel we didnt have much expectation for this place. but first off the view is amazing in its own. it has a lounge chair seating available if you want to have a laid back meal or a table seat. but the utmost best thing about this restaurant was its food quality. our lobster meal was FABULOUS.
Jiseung R — Google review
We travelled to this restaurant for lunch after reading the good reviews, but unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. The whole place felt chaotic and disorganised. The waiters were rushing around with no clear system, and the one who served us appeared frustrated and hurried us through our order. He forgot to bring some of our drinks and, more importantly, completely forgot our main meals. We ended up waiting an hour and a half, even after reminding him. When the food finally arrived, it was honestly the worst we have ever eaten. A special warning about the oysters: please do not order them here. Having travelled widely and tried oysters all over the world, we were shocked to be served dried, smelly oysters—at the outrageous price of £48. Even once our meals had arrived, they were inedible, so we left as quickly as possible. A truly disappointing experience.
E M — Google review
Fantastic beach restaurant. This place is a part of Pullman resort and is of a “higher end” variety. Prices are normal for this level, however, and the food is of exceptional quality. Service is friendly and immaculate. The restaurant is superbly clean and is situated right off of a beautiful beach. The mussels we had here were the freshest and possibly the best mussels we’ve had In a very long time. It does not matter whether you stay at the resort or not, all are welcome. The malloreddus pasta was superb. The tuna tartar with yogurt was fantastic. For those writing bad reviews about a burger here, you need to have a sense of humour to come to Sardinia and order a burger from a high end seafood restaurant.
Greg S — Google review
Please do not go to this restaurant! The quality of the food is horrible for the price you are paying, not worthy of a five star hotel. There are so many good restaurants in Sardinia, this is just not worth it . The only good thing was the atmosphere , with live music.

Ristorante La Cala is a top dining spot located in a beautiful area with stunning views of the Marina and bay. The staff is known for their exceptional service, offering friendly and helpful advice. The menu features delicious dishes, with the seafood risotto being highly recommended. Additionally, the grilled fish from the daily catch is a popular choice among patrons. Save room for dessert as they offer delightful local options and traditional chocolate mousse.
Top place in a very nice location with great views of the Marina and bay. The service is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful giving always good advice. The dishes were tasty , being the sea food risotto a top dish a must of the place. The grilled fish from the daily catch ordered by our neighbours looked also great. Desserts like local ones as well as a traditional choco mousse were great. A good recommendation both for couples or families and a must in Villasimius area. Totally recommended and to be repeated hopefully soon.

Poor food, poor service, no atmosphere we discovered that the restaurant was under a new management only when got there. The waiter who was wearing the face mask on his chin, was so unprofessional: listless but kept telling us that he was a very expert waiter from Milan. He thought he was funny but he was so irritating that we wanted to leave without ordering anything, but after calling some others restaurant in the village which were all fully booked, we decided to have a go with some starters. We were quite worried because it was mid of August, the busiest period of the year in these touristic area but at 9,30pm too many tables were available. When we received the starters we understood why. The food wasn't fresh, the octopus "la cala " style was dry and served on a bed of a very odd yellow, tasteless, thick cream. Awful. It was 15 Euros. None of the eleven of us was happy with his food, therefore before wasting even more money we asked for the bill and left. We couldn't believe that what a few years ago was a very good, lively restaurant, turned into a priced, low level with no atmospere at all and extremely poor food and service. So sad
Elena S — Google review
None of the four of us had a good experience with food. Seafood was not fresh and some dishes were very salty. The place was full of midges that ended up in our plates. Personnel was very courteous and location is ok but it’s not enough for a pleasant dinner with the family. I would not recommend it.

Top restaurant! Really nice people, awesome food! The owner was very kind since the booking over the phone. He also gave me a bottle of wine as a present for my wedding anniversary. Strongly recommended!

Villasimius has plenty of wonderful restaurants, this is not one of them. Rude management, disengaged staff, and the food is stale and bland. Despite the restaurant being empty, they refused to seat us anywhere near a view, despite numerous requests. Rude to tourists and possible others. Don’t waste your money at this restaurant.

Restaurant
S'Amada is a popular bar in Villasimius, Sardinia with a lovely setting and delicious food. They serve wine, beer and spirits, and have outdoor seating for those warm Sardinian evenings. The menu features Mediterranean-inspired dishes like calmari with chips, prawn Caesar salad and white wine. For something more hearty, they offer a large draft beer and a Sprite.
Amazing food, wines, smoothies and an exceptional service with beach view. If you walk into a beach restaurant with low expectations you are blown away by the service and the quality of the dishes. Locals come here to eat because it is so high standard and lovely to stay. There is a garden for your kids to squander while you enjoy dinner and wine. Thanks to Amani, Matteo and Dante for being outstanding hosts every time we went there!

Had a very nice time in this bar with great company. Slightly odd tradition of not being allowed to order at the bar, or select your own ice cream, or sit at empty tables, but great vibes other than that

In every way good. Good food, Good service, Good wine, Good ambiance. Nice people, wanting to help you make the evening absolutely great. And they did. It is located just behind the sea, which you can hear rustling, very romantic! I would highly recommend this restaurant to others!
M P — Google review
The place is beautiful, but the experience was very bad. We ordered 3 "gelos", we got 2 gelos and one smoothy. We asked for 3 different types of gelos. Again, one, was not even the one we ordered. We ordered one plate of muscles and specified just ONE, not two. Of course they brought two. We ordered warm pizzetas. The pizzetas were cold. At least the muscles were good and the smoothy/gelo as well. Also, we were the only table with plastic cups. We will never come back.

Went today for lunch, nice setting and lovely food. We had calmari with chips, a prawn ceaser salad, a white wine, a large draft beer & a Sprite. We paid €40 altogether and would return ourselves and recommend to others

Sit down and left after 15min because no one is caring about you. I asked for the menu two times and they were almost no guests on the terrace. One day before they try to scam me with prices for drinks. Don’t go here!!

Day 2

Off the beaten path
For day 2, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Spiaggia di Campulongu. Not quite as popular as Spiaggia di Porto Giunco, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 6 hours.

Spiaggia di Simius is a beautiful beach with fine, light-colored sand and clear shallow waters. It is conveniently located about 1.5 km from the town of Villasimius, making it easily accessible for visitors. The beach offers a stunning view of the 16th century Spanish Tower and the nearby Notteri Pond, home to a colony of pink flamingos.
Beautiful beach, not to crowded, clear water, suitable for all kids, closed on the beach there's food & drinks, basically an excellent turcoaz water beach in Sardinia!

Spiaggia di Is Traias is a stunning bay with a unique semicircular shape, spanning 150 meters in length and 25 meters in width. The beach is adorned with fine white sand and flanked by beautiful reefs at its ends. The shallow waters make it an ideal spot for families with children. The surrounding Mediterranean vegetation adds to the picturesque setting, shaped by the coastal winds.
My favorite beach, and the best beach bar as well.
Bennett R — Google review
Wonderfully quiet beach. Plenty of space and free parking nearby. Also a bar. As several other reviews note however, there is plenty of algae washed up. Access to water is still ok though, the main downside of the algae is a slight wiff of sulphur rotten egg. It was windy when i was here, maybe the smell is stronger in calmer conditions. On very windy days of maestrale the east coast allows you to escape.

Don't really see a reason to go here, with Simius beach is just next door. The best place in fact is just in between the two, on the rocks chilling with view on the Simius beach. If you end up here anyway, definitely go to the beach bar - it is the best part of the beach :-)

Spiaggia di Campulongu is a stunning sandy beach located in Villasimius, Sardinia. The clear turquoise waters and soft sand make it perfect for water games and sports. While there may be some sea grass on the beach, the overall beauty of the white dunes and clear sea makes it an ideal spot for snorkeling and enjoying a sunset. Accessible from a nearby public parking area, this beach offers a picturesque Mediterranean setting with all necessary facilities along the coast.
Beautiful beach. There are some rocks in the middle of the sea (50m from the beach) you can reach swimming and sea lots of fish. I went end of June on a Monday not so crowded. Special kudos to Puma the lifeguard of the beach in charge on the Lido. Very welcoming!!! And attentive to all.

Beach is very windy but with pleasant sand. Water is shallow. Beach is long but without any restaurant or bar. Nearby restaurant is in park behind parking spot.

All the beaches in Villasimius are stunningly gorgeous, I wouldn’t say that Campulongu is the 🔝 1, but I have to say that it’s extremely relaxing, the sand in the water is super comfortable to sit on, on the beach there are more locals than tourists. I spent last Sunday there the whole day, the sunset is amazing as well
Bing G — Google review
Turquoise blue and clear water! Weather cleared up by the time we travelled over to this beach. The sea is so clear and you can spot baby jellyfish and small fish, the sand surface once you get past the pebbles is so soft on your feet and the water temperature is perfect. We managed to park easily as there’s parking not far from the beach near a basketball court, free of charge (September 2023), there’s not many facilities that we could see but we brought our own food and drink. Good beach for a sunset too!
Jordan — Google review
Very light-colored beach and wonderful sea, gradually sloping – great for children. Downside: the beach is very narrow, alternating between public areas and private/hotel-equipped ones, and there are no refreshment points along the beach. Limited nearby parking.

We haven’t eaten here twice for lunch and both times booked when we have arrived at the beach. About 11/12pm. The table was reserved and we sat down with no fuss. The staff are attentive and the atmosphere relaxed. The food is great. The pasta delicious, the fresh fish perfectly cooked and deboned expertly. It was reasonable priced compared to other places we ate. We would definitely recommend. Enjoy!

This is how their plastic take away pizza looks like, disgusting food extremely rude behaviour from the man on the cashier while we were ordering as he tried to scam us by selling us the tiny ketchup pack for €1 😳 I think this man is pocketing the money and management or owner should be aware of this behaviour and higher a more friendly staff since it a holiday place and everyone is having a good time. Please keep envious people away.

We went there for lunch after being all morning on the beach and it was very comfortable. The food was amazing and the service was good. There were so many different waiters, which was sometimes difficult, because some didn’t speak English while some did understand a bit. The music there was good and it was a good choice for summer.

Nestled just 80 meters from the stunning white sands of Villasimius, Hotel Fiore di Maggio is a serene retreat that perfectly blends relaxation with adventure. Guests rave about its proximity to a semi-private beach, where crystal-clear waters invite you for a refreshing swim or snorkeling among vibrant fish near rocky formations. The hotel boasts an inviting outdoor pool, ideal for both leisurely swims and diving lessons. The accommodations are spacious and well-appointed, featuring panoramic views and private terraces that enhance your stay.
We have been there in the restaurant only and enjoyed it a lot, trying Sardinian Porceddu and local fish dishes. Amazing! Everything was excellently cooked, very friendly service

This place is run down and understaffed the pool bar isn’t open during day even though staff are sitting around doing nothing. We asked to use a pool towel and on check out where charged €3 each which was never mentioned when I asked for them.. To use sun beds at beach is also €30. The breakfast “buffet” was just bread, spreads a few cakes and juice it was so bad we began taking our own items for breakfast. Beds are rock hard and not enough blankets for all beds. Wouldn’t recommend and will never return.
Justin H — Google review
Very small room, dirty sheets, and a noisy water heater in our room. The staff was quite unfriendly and tried to charge us the double price during check-out. Overall, the rooms would need a renovation, and we expected way more for such a high price. Also, charging 30€ for a beach umbrella and sun loungers is just overpriced.
Kai B — Google review
We had a great stay at Fiore Di Maggio. Breakfast above expectation! Nice swimming pool (amazing deep part for diving instructions!), perfect location next to a semi-private beach. And also really good food in the half-board menu. I think this hotel offers best value for money in the neighbourhood (with a lot of high end hotels next door for sure). We stayed in May 2018. Italian restaurant
Arcada Wine & Restaurant offers a sophisticated and customized local cuisine with a good variety of dishes. The restaurant is recommended for couples or friends due to its nice ambiance and excellent service. While the food is generally great, some dishes like the pasta with vegetables may lack seasoning according to some visitors. The wine selection is commendable, but keep in mind that dining here could be somewhat pricey. Despite mixed reviews on the food, many patrons praise the professional and friendly staff as well as the pleasant interior.
Honestly everything was great! I gave them a call asking if they had a table in 10 mins and they did. We picked 2 dishes of pasta and they were very tasty. Prices are reasonable and the service is amazing. Well done!
The F — Google review
We had a great dinner at Arcada, on their terrace overlooking the Main Street of Villasimius. The best dish was definitely the Tuna steak which was exceptional. We also enjoyed the local pasta variations and the grilled cheese. They were all made with tasty and fresh ingredients. The service was friendly and fast, and we enjoyed the lovely ambience of the restaurant. As it can get quite full, I would recommend reserving a table if you want to have dinner here.
Tamás M — Google review
The restaurant gives the impression of being upmarket and does have some good features, however, we felt disappointed particularly considering the price. We dined inside and not on the roof terrace. Initially it feels amazing to be dining amongst the wine bottles, until you discover most of them are empty, not even filled with any liquid to give the impression of being full. However, the staff are wonderful, very friendly and professional! We had 3 courses, the starter and the dessert were lovely, however, the main was very bad. The sauce was disappointing in both dishes. The lobster could have been prepared better. This overall let the whole meal down. We had a nice bottle of wine, however, compared to other restaurants around the wine options are more expensive.
Rose B — Google review
Arcade is set on two floors with the first floor, overlooking the church and a pedestrian street decorated with colourful bunting. The terrace offers 5 side tables with lovely views outside with a few more centre tables with some view but not direct. Inside, the ceiling is decorated with rattan bowls and soft lighting, giving a warm, stylish atmosphere. Drinks: • Bread basket included both crispy and white bread, though olive oil would have been a nice addition. • The wine list is well priced and varied: • Terre Bianche Uve Torbato DOC 13.5% – €5.50 (crisp and refreshing). • I Selis Uve Vermentino & Nasco IGT 15% Cantina Argiolas – €5.50 (excellent value). • Cagnulari Red – €6.00 (full-bodied and very enjoyable). • Mamuthone – €6.50 served in a distinctive goblet-like glass, very characterful and memorable. Food: • Is Simius cun Allegusta (€28.00): Handmade long pasta with lobster and tomato sauce. The dish included half a lobster and an intense, flavourful tomato base. Excellent overall. • Lorigrìttas a S’Arcada (€18.00): Handmade pasta from Morgongiori with saffron, mussels, and mullet roe. A very interesting dish, with a rich sauce and generous mussels. • Tuna slices (medium rare): Served with rocket salad and tempura vegetables. Cooked beautifully, though slightly on the salty side. • Stuffed squid: Breadcrumb-stuffed squid, crispy on the outside with a well-seasoned filling. The sauce complemented it well, but again slightly salty. • Side dish – Verdure arrosto (€6.00): Roast vegetables (aubergine, courgettes, celery, onion, red peppers). A bit too oily, which left us feeling overly full. Service & Atmosphere: Service was good and efficient. The terrace filled up quickly, and the ground floor indoor area (air-conditioned with attractive interiors) also became busy as the evening went on. Overall: A beautiful setting with creative, well-executed Sardinian dishes and excellent wines at fair prices. Some dishes leaned a little salty or oily, but the quality of ingredients and ambience made for a memorable dining experience.

We had such a lovely dinner here! The seafood starter was fresh and delicious and both of our seafood pastas were amazing - full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The Chardonnay they suggested was also really nice. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and we felt totally at home the whole evening. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
Kerstin S — Google review
Tried for a walk-in here, they couldn’t seat us immediately but gave us a table for a few hours’ time. Really worth the wait. Service was impeccable and very friendly. Wait staff were extremely knowledgable and their food and wine recommendations landed perfectly. The atmosphere was lovely, we got a table upstairs on the balcony and got a lovely balance of the nice ambience from the street, but weren’t so close to it that it was disruptive. We had a seafood antipasti and the octopus was done perfectly (I’m very picky with it). I had a sausage meat pasta dish and it was one of the best I’ve ever eaten, really recommend it. On the pricier side and portions aren’t huge, but it’s a quality>quantity situation. One of our favourite meals had in Sardinia.
Gracie R — Google review
We didn’t have a reservation but we’re lucky that someone cancelled just as we arrived! The staff and food were exceptional!

Stylish resto overlooking the main street. A bit more refined sardinian cuisine with a very large wine card. We came for the porceddu which is served fine. Before we ordered foid, we were asked 4 times what to drink. A bit over serviced. The selection of antipasti del mare was goid, my wife’s culurgiones ok, not top. My porceddu was delicious, tender and with a nice crust. The mirtil sauce killed it a bit. Certainly needs a contorno, otherwise it would have been a bit straight forward. Very goid wine choice.

Ristorante Ragno Blu is a traditional Italian dining establishment with stunning views of the bay. The food is excellent, and reasonably priced considering the quality of service and surroundings. It's perfect for a romantic dinner or a family gathering.
We couldn't be more pleased with this restaurant, the food is delicious, we ate here 3 times already, is so good! The fish is fresh, veggies well done, pasta as per italian excellence, great selection of delicious wines. The view to the sea makes it very sophisticated, all is very clean, and the service is excellent, all waitresses and manager are very lovely people, always happy and helpful, very patient, actually one of them cleaned the fish from bones for my partner with such a technique as if in Master Chef show. The atmosphere is elegant yet cozy, a perfect combination for you to eat in peace and joy. I strongly recommend "Spigola alla Vernaccia", quite unique taste. Bravo to this restaurant and thank you for the amazing experience. Disclaimer: sorry for the few photos, we sometimes forgot to take pictures, again it looked and tasted so good that we just forgot about the world :)

Terrible. Dirty menu, unpolished silverware. They served a bottle of wine already opened. The mussels looked unhealthy and tasted unpleasant, served in what looked like dish water. The tuna salad was tasteless and I actually spit it out my mouth because I found something weird, fatty, I don't really know what it was. It was the worst food I ever had in Villasimius. I hope I don't get sick. I paid Euro 46.50 by the way.

Center of town
For day 3, we recommend exploring the center side of town. Start the day off with Spiaggia di Porto Sa Ruxi, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Spiaggia di Campus. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Beaches
Spiaggia di Porto Sa Ruxi is a stunning bay located between Capo Boi and Campus Beach, featuring three small beaches with fine white sand and protected by low rocks. The beach is framed by fascinating cliffs, providing shelter from the mistral wind. It is surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and offers shallow turquoise waters perfect for swimming.
Among the beaches of Villasimius this is the one I personally preferred, it is made up of three small coves, the sand and water are excellent. Reservations are recommended but not required, at 9am on a weekday there were no problems getting in. Car parking costs €10 per day but with the same ticket you can park at all the other beaches in the municipality but not in the urban parkings of the village. If you move to Punta Molentis beach you have to pay an extra 1€ per person, but this beach in its sandy part is smaller, however in low season on weekdays it is possible to access it without reservation.

Beautiful sandy beach, but with a lot of seaweed. There were waves. It was not crowded, parking 12 €/day.

Loved this place. Parking if come early is available right in the bottom. 12€ per day. Great view from the top and stunning on the beach itself. Was a bit windy which made sun bathing a bit tricky but the rest was amazing. On the entrance to parking we were asked if we have a reservation but we hadn’t. It was around 8:30 in the morning and we were able to get in no problem.

Beautiful beach among the best in Villasimius. Three small sandy coves with shallow turquoise water. Parking is 10 Euros a day, and there's limited availability, though.
Jennifer C — Google review
Absolutely incredible beach. Perfect for families with small children given the shallow water areas. Staff at the private beach are also great. I would suggest the private beach since they have lifeguards on duty and watch carefully for children and watercraft. Reserve a gazebo if you want to feel like royalty without the royal cost. Get there early for parking though or you'll have a slight hike getting to the beach.

Beautiful location, not crowded, we parked on the street as they told us that the parking was full. Windy on the day we visited the beach. Good restaurant.

It was a cozy beautiful beach with a very clean and wonderful water! Its not that big but there 2-3 beaches are next to each other where you can chose to sit down and enjoy the view /water! Its 14 min drive from Villasimius, its better to book before going there cause usually it’s not that easy to find available spots !

Spiaggia di Campus is a popular beach in Villasimius, Sardinia, known for its long stretch of golden sand and shallow, calm waters. It's a great spot for families with children as the water is shallow and safe for swimming. The beach can get crowded during the summer months due to its popularity as one of the best sheltered beaches in the area. Surrounding the beach is a picturesque Sardinian scenery with a pine forest providing shade from the summer sun.
Beautiful beach. Perfect sand. Goes from shallow to deep gradually. No rocks. Easy to access. Highly recommend
Salman A — Google review
Recommendation from my airbnb host who also runs the delicious restaurant on the beach. Quiet beach, not crowded in September, water as clear as if it had come out of the tap, big fish right up at the shore line. Exquisite day. Under rated by a long way but probably not for long. Free parking too! Best beach day I’ve had in years. Bring your own drinks and snacks as the restaurant is only open 12-2 and then again in the evening.

Great beach. Public part is very small but snorkeling was amazing. We saw small moray eels and lots of cool fish. Free parking in the dirt lot across the street.

beautiful beach that was nearly empty when we visited at 10am
Linus — Google review
Great sand beach, not too busy even in the main season, you should bring an umbrella since you can’t hire one. No parking fee!
David — Google review
Majority of the beach is taken up by umbrellas owned by the hotel. I think the beach and water in front of these must also be owned by the hotels as the lifeguard asked us to move from a place in the water that was directly in front of the umbrellas. Strange as it is off season and there were only about 5 umbrellas being used and no one in the water. Although this beach has nice sand and calm water there are plenty of other lovely beaches around the area that don't have any restrictions on use of space in the sea.
Epster — Google review
Very pretty bay.. Gorgeous sand and sea! Shame it was so windy but still managed an invigorating swim in crystal clear water
Simone C — Google review
The water at this beach is almost immediately deep which is nice and different to many of the other beaches in the area. Nice views of the surrounding hills and there's a river that flows into the sea.

Mediterranean restaurant
Bar Ristorante Il Miraggio is a charming waterfront restaurant located in the south of Sardegna. The cozy and well-maintained atmosphere reflects the love and dedication of a family-run establishment. With a focus on fresh seafood, generous portions, and outstanding flavors, this hidden gem offers an exceptional dining experience. Guests can savor grilled fish, seafood pasta, Sardinian dumplings, and other delectable dishes while enjoying the breezy terrace overlooking the beach.
The food here is just amazing! We didn’t have a reservation but the staff managed to find us the table. Overall it feels like the service could be a bit better, faster and nicer. It’s not that they are not nice, but they did forget about the glass of wine I ordered and we waited for quite some time for the appetizers to arrive. But the food is just perfect, maybe the best sea food we had in Sardinia. Mussels, oysters, shrimp, calamari, the fish - everything is just perfect!

Various of food, friendly stuff, better to book during high season. Food was tasty too. Bit pricy
Ola G — Google review
Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience at this restaurant. Of course, the ambience, the location and the staff are not to be criticized. However, we were served poorly grilled food. We ordered the grilled fish and seafood plate three times and all the edible parts were bitter. This unpleasant taste is caused by a lack of air circulation when grilling: the smoke sticks to the meat as it cooks and settles on the surface. This creates creosote, a black, greasy and oily substance that gives the meat a bitter and pungent taste. Of course we could have reported it, but we were hungry and don't expect such an unpleasant experience in an upscale restaurant.
PumpFiction — Google review
What a great restaurant! Right in the beach with some of the best food I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend. We didn’t have reservations but they got us seated straight away and the service was very slick. Would suggest booking in peak times.

Terrific food. Very tasty. Lovely service. Generous portions. Highly recommend it. We had the mixed seafood starter (cooked). 6 dishes turned up! The raw starter looked great as well.
Pacharapong S — Google review
Lovely gem! A cozy family run restaurant with amazing food. Definitely a little bit pricier, however worth every penny. Delicious food served like fine dining with an amazing view of the beach. A great idea for a romantic sunset dinner. The octopus for starters and the pasta vongole with bottarga are a must have!
Bea F — Google review
Nice Sea front restaurant . Needs more vegetarian options. They have no idea what spicy means, although this may be a language issue, they nodded when I asked for my food very spicy . When it arrived, no spice ! Hard to get a reservation, so definitely book in advance if you want a table , and weeks in advance if the table you hoping for is sea front. They milk there location and this is reflected in the price. Very good dessert , the rest is average Seafood seems to be their strongest choices.
Hitesh K — Google review
This restaurant is definitely something special hidden in the south of Sardegna. The atmosphere and decoration of the restaurant are cosy and really taken care of. Once you enter you realise that is run by a family who loves doing this since years. The fish is fresh, the portions are generous and the taste of everything was with no doubt outstanding. They know how to enhance the proximity products, as the fish. I can highly recommend the spaghetti with lobster and the ravioli. The fish of the day is also always a good option. It will be served in front of you by a waiter/waitress who will leave it perfectly ready to eat with perfect skills. However, make sure you call in advance to make a reservation, since they get full really quickly. Also, if you want to seat on their terrace practically on the beach, be aware to make a reservation at least 10 in advance during summer. The relation quality-price is also fair. Can just recommend this restaurant.

Fusion restaurant
Restaurant
La Mora Bianca is a fusion restaurant in Sardinia, Italy that offers Mediterranean and European cuisine. The chefs and kitchen are skilled in creating tasty dishes that are reasonably priced. The restaurant has an outdoor patio that allows guests to enjoy the beautiful Sardinian landscape while they dine. Although wheelchair accessible, the waitstaff can be improved in their organization skills. Parking is available on street nearby.
This place is simply amazing! This secret garden was a little paradise, with the friendliest staff and incredible live music. We had multiple dishes, all very beautifully plated and with incredible flavors. The Tuna stake was a recommendation by the staff and it was simply delicious. Perfect place for a romantic night out and enjoy some great authentic Italian food!
Jasper L — Google review
La Mora is one of the best places we dined at and was highly enjoyable. The service was amazing and the food was great. The ambiance gave secret garden vibes which was truly beautiful.
Salman A — Google review
Two things to moan about : service charge of 10% as per the usual Coperto and the high pieces for food and the mark up for wine which was 300%. Down a small flight of steps, La Mora Bianca opens into a beautiful courtyard where mirrors catch the light against stone-inlaid tiles. White tablecloths and soft jazz create an elegant setting, complemented by crisp Sardinian bread. That said, smoking in the courtyard disrupted the atmosphere, and the QR-code-only menu meant everyone began the evening on their phones. Food • Spicy Tuna – Three tartare bites on saffron rice tiles with spicy mayo, tobiko, and chives. Nicely elevated with caviar, though a touch too salty. • Beef Brioche – A standout dish. Tender tartare topped with sweet, crisp brioche, parmesan fondue, shiitake, and onion. Excellent balance, though light on the mushrooms. • Tuna Tataki (€30) – Served rare with pickled red cabbage, crème fraîche, hummus, and ponzu. Well executed, though with a slight fishy aftertaste. • Pork Terrine (€26) – Pulled pork compressed into a terrine with herb breadcrumbs, bacon, pak choi, carrots, and teriyaki sauce. Rich, satisfying, and beautifully balanced. • Roasted Vegetables (€13) – Aubergine, fennel, and onion were strong, but peppers and carrots lacked depth. Wine & Service The wine list carries around a 2.5x markup, typical for the area. Service was attentive, with staff switching easily between English, German, and Italian. Overall La Mora Bianca delivers an elegant courtyard setting and inventive Sardinian-inspired plates, with some real highlights (especially the beef brioche and pork terrine). The atmosphere is charming but let down slightly by smoking and the reliance on QR menus. Prices are on the higher side, but service is polished and the food memorable in parts.

Absolutely no. The ladies at the service were nice, but I cannot say it was the best service I received in a restaurant. Food?? NO!!! We had 2 starters with some filled pasta. One decent one terrible. We ate half of one dumpling and then we said we did not like it and that it tasted funny. Like too sour. They said : Oh, I am sorry. No refund, no replacement, nothing. A restaurant that respects their customers and their food doesn't ask you to pay for a dish that was so disliked. But then again. We chose it so whatever... We also had 2 main dishes with fish. One from the menu and one special. Both with white fish. The sea bream that was not in the menu was 38 euros while all the other rest were 28 euros or so. It is a huge difference for almost the same dish. It is not normal to not state the prices for your today's specials.... We said we don't drink alcohol but one of the waitresses kept coming by our table and trying to upsell nonalcoholic cocktails. In the end they had some problems at the cashier so we waited almost 10 minutes just to pay. Payment and reservations are mainly handled by someone who looks like a mananger or an owner. (You can also see from the arrogance that he is not respecting his employees as well). Anyways, I agree with the rest. Another tourist trap. Rip-off! Avoid!
Daniela P — Google review
The garden is pretty nice but everything else is border line decent. While walking in, minimal music was playing, nothing to do with “romantic athmosphere”. Later on the music was changed to fast-paced latino music. The person who seemed to be the owner was rushing his employees and asking guests where they were coming from, as if that mattered for the upcomping dinner. It did seem to have mattered later in the way he was going by certain people’s tables and ignored others until they had to pay the bill. The romantic tables and chairs were actual plastic chairs, the kind you take to your lake when you go fishing for a few days, or the ones you have in your back garden or maybe the ones you find in cheap bars. The waitress was alright, but seemed to have an agenda of selling some alcohol to customers and “special, not-on-the-menu” dishes with unspoken prices. The food itself was nothing special. We only enjoyed one of the starter dishes, while one was horrbile. For main course we had fish. The sea bream was alright. In-between courses took a lot of time, while none of the plates seemed really warm/ hot when we got them. Payment also took way too long and cheap it was not. Definitely a tourist trap. To be avoided.
Razvan D — Google review
Sadly, the shock of seeing how much we paid for so little is what’s forced me to rate them three stars. The food was good, but I genuinely don’t understand why it is so expensive. Portion sizes are small and so you simply end up getting extra sides, which aren’t cheap either. Taste is good but nothing extra ordinary to deserve the price they charge. Service is fantastic though and here I can’t fault them at all for this. Ambience is also good, and while we could have done without the mosquitoes, it’s an outdoor location, so can’t be avoided. At least they kindly provided the mosquito spray for us.
Suresh H — Google review
Fantastic food in a very nice romantic setting. Unfortunately was made a very bad experience by the service. We had to order water for the table on 3 separate occasions (to the same waiter) which finally came 20 minutes after sitting down. Waited a further 20 minutes to get our food order in - We ordered starters and a main, the main course was only served an hour after we finished the starters. The restaurant was pretty quiet at about 30% capacity. We politely ordered the bill when the main course came out and the waiter scoffed and made some under the breath comment that we didn’t catch. I feel sorry for the chef and kitchen staff, their work is undermined by the poor experience at the front of the house.

Day 4

Proximity is everything
For day 4, we bundled attractions like Spaggia di Santo Stefano and Cava Usai and other places within a close range, so that the time it takes to travel between all of them is less than one hour. Combined with the average time people spend there, your day should take about 7 hours.

A beautiful and secluded spot in the waters off of Naples, Santo Stefano offers visitors a unique view of the bay below. With strong east wind conditions, the bay is sheltered from much of the weather and makes for a relaxing place to explore. The water here is clear and abundant with fish and even a few moray eels.
Well the 2nd best beach in Sardinia during our 2 weeks trip (1st one being on La Maddalena beach). We arrived to Cala Caterina on a windy day, a bit cold outside at least for swimming we thought due to the wind. But seems like this one is protected from the wind cozy, nice, calm. The water is crystal clear, so many fish wandering around, exploring the swimmers… besides there were not that many people on the beach so it is a great place to relax!

A little hard to reach from public areas as you need to climb (take proper shoes). But the beach is stunning. Good to also have swimming shoes as under water there’s shelves, mussels and at times sea urchins.
Paul M — Google review
Amazing but tiny beach of both sand and pebbles, plenty of fish for snorkeling makes the place worth the stay for a whole day. Free parking lot nearby.
Luca C — Google review
Ok beach… nice spot to watch the sunset! But that’s sort of it for me. The sand is not the nicest and it’s full of stones even when you go into the water. Minimal parking spots. There is a path from the parking lot to the beach, most of it is ok, but the last bit is uneven and full of stones, definitely not apt for a stroller for example.

Cava Usai, also known as Cava Manna or Portu su Forru, is a stunning beach in Southeastern Sardinia. Its name comes from an old granite quarry that was active until 1950. This pristine beach lacks facilities, making it perfect for those seeking privacy and intimacy. The area is beloved by photographers for the vibrant colors of the rocks and offers tranquil waters ideal for diving enthusiasts.

The best off-road walk in Villasimius! It seems hard at some points, but you can walk all the way round the hill using the massive granite blocks that have fallen into the sea. Sometimes a steep climb, sometimes and easy descent, but the views are fascinating and the moment you reach the other side is really satisfying!

Spiaggia di Capo Carbonara

Beach
Spiaggia di Capo Carbonara is a coastal area with stunning views and abundant marine life. It's best to visit early in the morning for a serene experience with spectacular views. The beach offers a sense of security, and there are minimal crowds, making it an ideal spot for leisurely walks. While not suitable for trekking, it boasts walking trails and secluded beaches, providing a cool and tranquil environment to explore. Additionally, there is free parking available at the site.
Lovely beach with white fine sand 🏝️
Leo F — Google review
A small but beautiful beach where the sea is colored turquoise and sky blue with patches of deep green algae and patches of rocks. On the left of the coast line the sandy beach continues into rocky boulders with a road towards an old structure and what appears to be an old tower.
R D — Google review
If you are looking for white Sandy beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see, bordered by iridescent water, with a lagoon full of flamingoes thrown in, this is the place for you. We drove to the end of the dirt road, somewhat of a free for all parking situation, and walked directly on the beach. There are four clubs that will rent canopies and chairs and serve drinks. Bring some coins for the toilette. In high season, expect crowds, so show up early or wait in traffic.
Eric S — Google review
More of a secure beach although there is a food truck outside. Lea's people, less hasle and more to see in my opinion. Parking is free as well

Restaurant
Restaurant La Vela is a Southern-Italian cuisine eatery located near Spiaggia di Porto Giunco. It offers a beautiful view of the harbor and serves delicious pasta and fish dishes. The restaurant also provides fresh mussels, deep-fried squid, and lobsters from a tank. While the food is highly praised for its quality, some visitors have noted that the service could be improved. Despite this, it's recommended for its professional and friendly staff.
Beautiful restaurant oversees the dock with a view. Food is good. I had the mussels and deep fried squid, they were really fresh. Lobsters you could choose from a tank. The service needs improving. You need to be assertive to get the waiting staff’s attention but then not every waiting staff could take your orders as your table are assigned to particular staff. Food 8.5/10, service 6/10, ambience 8.5/10, value for money 8.5/10.

The view from La Vela is amazing. We arrived before sunset and got to see the most gorgeous sunset behind the mountains. The food was amazing as well and in particular the margarita pizza was one of the best I have had.

If you want to eat fresh local fish with rich local wine selection and enjoy much more, a must place to dine in a summer evening! We loved it! My kids loved "dondurma", a special ice cream.

Food is really top! definitely one of the best I have had in southeast sardinina. I highly recommend their mussels and clams tomato soup, and the white bait zucchini fritters with aioli sauce, this one v is very unique, only see it on a menu for the first time here, and it's good! View here at the Marina is very nice. The reason why it doesn't get a 5 star is that their 2 staffs are young and inexperienced, they don't really know what they are doing, and seem to not have table services organized among themselves, I waited for my 2nd glass of vermentino for a long time.
