Hotel Simius Playa is a luxurious property located in Villasimius, offering elegant dining options, stunning sea views, and complimentary breakfast. The hotel boasts beautiful gardens with a refreshing pool for guests to enjoy. Situated right by the picturesque Simius Beach, guests have access to their own private beach. The classic-style rooms may not be very spacious but are well-equipped and offer views of the garden. Despite being smaller than neighboring hotels, Hotel Simius Playa exudes charm and elegance.
Very enjoyable 2 night stay! What we loved: - Incredible breakfast (food quality and service) - Fast internet - Direct access to beach from hotel - Spacious/comfortable room with view of the ocean (Suite with Sea View) - also had cute birds nesting on our balcony roof - Complimentary water bottles - All staff were polite/courteous/helpful - Free/simple parking directly next to hotel entrance What could have been better: - Beach sun beds cost money to use if you haven't booked full board (i.e. having breakfast and dinner at hotel) - Normal turnaround time for laundry is 2 days (luckily we were able to get ours done within 24 hours) - thanks again! 🙏 - Android TV didn't work well (limited apps installed and difficult to cast to from a phone) Overall a very pleasant experience at this hotel and would happily recommend it!!

This place is incredibly romantic and off the beaten path. Perfect for a beach get away. Beautiful grounds and rooms. The beach is located just steps away. Chair and umbrella service should be included if staying at resort but it is extra. Most everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. Especially the wait staff. The dining room was run very efficiently. Would 100% stay here again. Mind you if you are English speaking, not everyone speaks good English which is fine by me. Just be aware.
Anne J — Google review
Great location. Ideal if you want some sit around the pool or the beach ⛱️ all day. The hotel staff and the locals aren't to keen on the British people and don't go out of their way to help you even though there can speak English. So never again.
Tony B — Google review
The hotel is set on relatively compact grounds — just across from a lovely beach. Also a nicel pool inside hotel grounds. Our room was probably the cheapest and smallest one in the house, but had a smallterrace, a large wak-in shower, and was beautifully cleaned each day of our stay. Endearingly good and pleasant service from all personnel. Breakfast just shy of the highest level, because juices were not particularly good. Dinners were good to excellent (for me beef tenderloin the best). House Cannonau ( like a grenache rouge) is good, and well priced. We also had a Sardinian bubbly which was excellent. We’ll remember this place and its personnel with pleasure.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The staff, particularly Tonino and Enrico, made our stay truly memorable. Their professionalism and attentiveness were beyond compare. The property itself is a true gem.The moment we stepped onto the premises, we were struck by its beauty. The highlight, though, was the spectacular beach right at our doorstep. The crystal-clear waters and pristine sands created a tranquil oasis that was perfect for relaxation. And the culinary experience in the restaurant was nothing short of heavenly. The food was divine. Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, and the flavors were simply outstanding. In summary, our stay at this hotel was an absolute delight. From the amazing staff to the beautiful property, spectacular beach, and mouthwatering food, it exceeded all our expectations. I can't wait to return for another unforgettable experience.
Elene Z — Google review
Can’t beat the location. Steps from the beach. The grounds and common areas, including the bar and restaurant, are elegant and beautiful. The room was spare, with very plain furniture, (almost as though they had just threw a couple of couches in the room for storage). But the bed was super comfortable, and we really enjoyed the balcony. Restaurant staff was fantastic and the food was very, very good!
Terese G — Google review
We were a week in the hotel and everything was amazing 🤩 The staff in the restaurant is very helpful and professional, the waiter Antonino try to fill your every wish. The food was great, we had the half board, breakfast was more Italian style like many cakes, but the lunch in the garden restaurant and the dinner were still perfect. The beach has very clean white sand and perfect clean water without plastic or something else. We are now since 4 days at home but we miss the atmosphere of the hotel. I think we will come back soon.
Marcela K — Google review
Everything about this hotel is just amazing! I wish we had more nights to spend there. We got the biggest bed I have ever seen (2.20 probably) and it was soper comfortable as well. The room was big and the shower was both pleasant on the eyes and nice to use. The breakfast was so rich and so tasty and the service was impeccable. We only had one night and we wanted to use the beach after we had to leave the room, so the hotel let us store our luggage. They also have a shower for you to use, with guest towels and shampoo. Amazing!

Hotel Cala Caterina is a charming boutique hotel located in one of the most picturesque areas of Sardinia. With its traditional Mediterranean architecture and surrounded by lush greenery, this stylish hotel offers a unique blend of luxury and natural beauty. Guests can enjoy the convenience of being just a few minutes away from Villasimius and the tourist marina, while also having direct access to the beautiful Cala Caterina beach.
Hôtel Cala Caterina is a gem! The location is absolutely stunning, nestled between lush greenery and the sparkling sea. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. The food at the hotel's restaurant is delicious, featuring a mix of local and international dishes. The private beach is a wonderful bonus, providing a tranquil spot to relax and soak up the sun. The hotel is also incredibly quiet, offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The big pine trees that line the path down to the sea provide some much-needed fresh air and shade. Overall, a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy a memorable vacation.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Cala Caterina. The service was impeccable from all staff, who were super friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with the air con when we first arrived but we were kindly offered a room change. Great food at the restaurant and it had all the amenities we needed.
E T — Google review
Cala Caterina has been an absolute dream! We enjoyed it so much that we barely wanted to leave the hotel. The lush, beautifully maintained garden with direct access to a crystal-clear beach felt like a private paradise. The attention to detail in every corner, from the design to the service, truly reflects a sense of quiet luxury. The restaurant exceeded all expectations – the themed set menus were a delightful experience every evening, and the vongole pasta at lunch was one of the best we’ve ever had. We also enjoyed morning runs around the area – peaceful and scenic – and were lucky enough to spot flamingos nearby, which made the experience even more special. Special mention to the service: truly customer-oriented and kind. A young brunette woman with a long bob hairstyle (sadly I didn’t catch her name) stood out with her professionalism, dedication, and the way she helped her colleagues – always attentive and welcoming towards the guests. Hands down one of our favourite hotels – thank you for such a magical experience!
Roxana — Google review
The location is one of the best in Villasimius, with a beautiful spot on the sunset. Rooms (confort) are well newly equipped whether a bit small. Service (I refer to bar near the swimming pool) should be more proactive according to the hotel rank. At this regard, it is deprecable that a structure like this one (on high season on August) was literally kept hostage by a hord of children without any limitation, as in a normal tourist village. This was a real liability and not acceptable.
Rahbar 6 — Google review
This small boutique hotel is an ideal choice if you're seeking a relaxing and quiet holiday. The property is spotlessly clean and feels brand new, with excellent air-conditioning that adds to the comfort. The design of the hotel stands out—everything feels well-thought-out and intentionally curated to create a peaceful atmosphere. Although the beach directly in front of the hotel is small, and the sea was unfortunately dirty during my arrival, there's easy access to the beautiful **Porto Giunco Beach**—just a pleasant 25-minute walk away, where you'll find **crystal-clear water**. **Santo Stefano Beach** is also close by and worth visiting if you’re looking to explore. In summary, this hotel delivers on comfort, cleanliness, and design—perfect for a restful escape, as long as you don’t mind a short stroll to reach the best beaches.
Yulia B — Google review
What a fantastic holiday at an amazing location. The hotel was very clean, airy and very well maintained. The facilities were superb, the swimming pool, restaurant and bar were all top notch. The beds were very comfy and the room was airy and spacious with a lovely little terrace. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the service was friendly and so helpful. The location is ideal for the private beach and if you want something bigger there is a superb beach and facilities less than a 5 minute drive away. In short, we will go back after a brilliant holiday. Special thanks to Maurizio in the restaurant and Mario in the bar for making me practice my Italian!!! Thank you so much

An unforgettable stay at Cala Caterina – truly a hidden gem! We had the most wonderful experience at Cała Caterina. From the moment we arrived, everything was impeccable. The cleanliness was outstanding — our room was spotless, and housekeeping changed the bed linen every single day. In the evenings, we were delighted to find little chocolates left on our pillows — such a sweet and thoughtful touch that made us feel so welcome. The hotel restaurant exceeded all expectations. The dinner menu was varied and refined — not a single dish repeated during the entire week! It truly felt like a delightful culinary journey, exploring different tastes each evening. Another highlight was the live music in the evenings — it added a romantic and relaxing atmosphere to the entire experience. The hotel’s garden and grounds are beautifully maintained — lush, green, and incredibly peaceful. A special mention goes to the reception staff — the girls at the front desk were warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. Our flight was scheduled for the evening, and although the official check-out time was 10:00 am, they kindly allowed us to stay in our room until after lunch — which we deeply appreciated. Overall, the hotel is simply stunning — elegant, serene, and truly dedicated to guest comfort. That said, there are just a few areas where improvement would make the stay absolutely perfect: - It would be wonderful if smoking near the pool and on the sun loungers were not allowed. It was sometimes difficult to enjoy the fresh air when someone nearby was smoking. - We were a bit disappointed that the hammocks, which were shown in earlier photos of the hotel, were no longer available. Adding a few hammocks or even a small swing for children would make a big difference — especially since many couples with young children were staying at the hotel. - Lastly, the language barrier in the restaurant caused a bit of delay. Since most of the restaurant staff did not speak English, we often had to wait up to 40 minutes for an English-speaking waiter to become available and take our order. Despite these small issues, our overall impression was absolutely positive, and we would love to return again. Thank you, Cala Caterina, for such a magical and relaxing vacation!

We loved our stay at Cala Caterina! The hotel strikes the perfect balance of luxury and charm, with beautifully maintained grounds that made every moment feel special. We enjoyed the incredible buffet breakfast, relaxing by the pool, easy beach access, and the warm hospitality from the entire staff. A special thank you to Alessia and Chiara, who went above and beyond to make our stay seamless. Alessia helped us arrange multiple taxi rides into town and coordinated a fantastic boat tour with Sailover - one of the highlights of our trip! She was always available to answer questions and made everything so easy for us. The breakfast and pool bar staff were also outstanding - always friendly, attentive, and quick with service. We had such a wonderful experience and would absolutely love to return!

Stella Maris Hotel is an elegant establishment located in Villasimius, offering stunning bay views and a private beach. The hotel features a seasonal outdoor pool, gardens of Mediterranean maquis, and a restaurant with a panoramic terrace. Guests can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and access to recreational amenities such as bicycle rentals. Situated near Campolongu, one of the most beautiful beaches in Villasimius, this upscale hotel provides comfortable rooms just 50 meters from the beach.
Sea-coast location is perfect with a charming and well-designed garden and interior. Amazing panorama to the sea with crystal clear water. The dinner was fabulous every evening, one of the most memorable part of our holiday. Staff members were absolutely kind and we felt their hospitality during our complete stay. Would be happy to return some time to this relaxing and adorable place.

The price is more than what we excepted as 4 star hotel. Service was not 4 star as well, some staff really kind and helpful but some was not giving service. Breakfast can be improved more. Location is far from crown and you need to take taxi for everything.

I had my wedding ceremony at Hotel Stella Maris. The venue is absolutely stunning, it looked and felt like a fairytale. The atmosphere was magic and very relaxed; the personnel very attentive to ours and our guests' needs and committed to make our wedding a special and perfect. Thank you to the hotel Director Marco and the whole Stella Maris team, from the reception staff, to the Metre, to the waiters and waitresses for making our day so memorable.

**Hotel Stella Maris Review** **Beach and Pools:** **Pluses:** - Beautiful sandy beach with clear water. - Clean pool and well-maintained pool area. - Delicious ice cream available. **Minuses:** - Guests must go down to the beach to pick up towels and then return to the pool. - No service available at either the pool or the beach. - Extremely windy on some days, making it difficult to enjoy the beach. **Rooms (We stayed in a Superior Suite):** **Pluses:** - Clean and satisfactory, with a lovely view. - Ample towels and bathrobes provided. - Spacious mirrors. - Large balconies. **Minuses:** - Not as modern as depicted in the booking photos (the hotel seems to use AI-enhanced images to make the rooms appear more attractive). - Missing amenities mentioned during booking, such as a “living room table” and “armchairs”; instead, there was only one small chair per room and no any living room table. - While the balconies are large, they only have two small chairs and a small table, making it uncomfortable to relax and fully enjoy the view. **Breakfast:** **Pluses:** - Eggs cooked to your preference can be ordered at the table. - Good selection of pastries. **Minuses:** - Outdoor seating is only available from Wednesday to Sunday. - Extra items incur additional charges (e.g., €2 for each item if you want to add bacon to your eggs or veggies/cheese to your omelet). Fresh orange juice costs €7 and is served in a very small size, even smaller than their latte glass. **Dinner:** **Pluses:** - Large buffet featuring desserts and fruits. - Good selection of wines. **Minuses:** - Very disorganized service. There is an odd system where only one person takes orders while the other waiters only serve and clear dishes. Many waiters appear to be either running chaotically between tables or standing around chatting instead of working. Despite having 8-9 waiters for 20-25 tables, we waited more than 30 minutes just to place our order. My dish, “suckling pig,” consisted mainly of fat with very little meat. After requesting a change, I waited another 30 minutes before they realized they had forgotten it. - Food quality could be improved. We had half board and could choose three dishes from the menu plus dessert. While the pasta and beef were generally good, we were often dissatisfied with the starters and main courses. The worst was a starter called “fresh marinated scallops infused with lemon and coconut milk,” which turned out to be some salted grey pieces and no hint of coconut milk—likely made from canned ingredients rather than fresh. **Staff:** **Pluses:** - Generally friendly staff. **Minuses:** - Most staff members have limited English proficiency.

Good: Location Beach, shallow, warm and crystal clear sea Nice pool and gardens Food Most members of staff Not so good: Restaurant service is slow, especially at breakfast Service can also be very haphazard Cost, food and drink is expensive Lack of electrical sockets in room Dressing table has no mirror or adequate lighting Bad: Beware of their VIP package. We took this and had nothing but problems with it. It states: A welcome drink upon arrival to kickstart an exceptional stay. This was not offered. One bottle of wine per day from our selection of recommended wines, allowing you to savor the flavors of the region. We were given a slip of paper to use in the restaurant which does say one bottle of wine per day. First night was fine but on the second night we were told by the restaurant manager the offer was one bottle per stay. He refused to accept that it was one per day (even though it was written down) and became very rude and aggressive saying it was not his problem and told us we had to pay for the wine. We went to reception, the lady on there did sort it out but once we were seated back in the restaurant he approached us again, being very much in our face and aggressive. No apology from him for his misunderstanding. From then on we did get one bottle per day but felt uneasy going into the restaurant. The reception manager said he would investigate, apologised but concluded it was just a misunderstanding Two rejuvenating massages to relax and pamper yourself during your stay. From choice we did not have this Unlimited access to the minibar to ensure you stay refreshed throughout your visit. This is not a mini bar, it is an empty fridge in the room, topped up daily with two small bottles of water. When we asked for more we were told it would be an extra charge. Again we had to point out it states “unlimited” and the fridge was then topped up with enough bottles every day. However on check out the extra bottles had been added to our bill (we did get this refunded) Airport transfers to and from the hotel for a seamless and comfortable journey. The driver on our journey from the hotel asked to be paid, we told him it was included with the hotel which he accepted but he should have been made aware in the first place Priority seating in the front row on our stunning beach, offering unmatched views and relaxation. This was the only thing that went okay. The lifeguards on the beach did not question this and we had front row each time we went to the beach The purpose of this long review is for you to be aware that staff need extra awareness training of the terms of the VIP package. The problems we had with it made us feel on edge and uncomfortable every time we used the offer. Overall we enjoyed our stay but unfortunately because of the issues we will not return

Beautiful hotel on a gorgeous crystal clear Wade in turquoise water beach! Full buffet breakfast with many options, eggs made to order to your table. Lovely service. The pastries at breakfast are the best we've had on this trip! A must try. The view with our ocean front room was worth it.
Kathleen B — Google review
We chose Stella Maris Hotel mainly for its beautiful location and charming style. And indeed – the grounds are stunning, the beach is wonderful, and the atmosphere at first glance is impressive. Unfortunately, the service was a huge disappointment, and it overshadowed the whole experience. When we arrived in the evening, the staff practically ignored us. They seemed more focused on guests arriving for a wedding and left us waiting, as if we didn’t matter. Eventually, we were checked in, but the room itself was very inconvenient: no accessible power outlets near the bed (only one in the bathroom, and a couple hidden under the desk that required moving furniture). They gave us a single extension cord as a “solution.” The air conditioning did not work properly, and the room door was broken and barely closed. Even the water in the minibar was not complimentary. We had several suitcases and asked for help, but were told no one could assist us – instead, we were given a trolley to carry everything ourselves. Ironically, a very petite staff member offered to help with our heavy luggage, which felt uncomfortable because she was clearly struggling, while the management standing nearby simply ignored the situation. On top of that, my birthday happened during our stay, and the hotel did not acknowledge it in any way. Check-out was very early (10:00), and they only allowed an extra 15 minutes. When we asked if we could at least stay on the beach a little longer after check-out, the answer was “no” – we were told we could remain on the hotel grounds, but not use the beach. This was very strange, since just a few meters away all other tourists (not from the hotel) were freely enjoying the same beach without any restrictions. Breakfast was another disappointment: very limited choice of vegetables (only cherry tomatoes), poor selection of cheese and cold cuts, though there was a large dessert table, fruit, and yoghurts. Ordering fried eggs was a challenge – they only came correctly cooked on the fourth attempt. Overall, the hotel looks amazing and has great potential thanks to its location and design, but the service is far from a four-star standard. Out of the four hotels we stayed at in Sardinia, sadly this was the worst experience – beautiful property, but extremely poor service.

Hotel & Residence Cormoran is a stunning beachfront resort in Villasimius, offering a variety of accommodations including hotel rooms, apartments, bungalows, and villas. The property boasts spacious grounds perfect for leisurely strolls and is located near a secluded beach. Guests can enjoy activities such as diving, trekking, tennis, volleyball, and horse riding.
Our stay at the Cormoran Hotel in Villasimius was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking beachfront location, the crystal-clear waters, and the beautifully maintained grounds. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between elegance and relaxed comfort, making it an ideal escape in Sardegna. The staff went above and beyond—warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Our room was spotless. The on-site dining was excellent, with fresh local flavors and a great selection of wines to match. What truly sets Cormoran apart is its peaceful atmosphere with great service and direct access to one of the most beautiful beaches in the region. Whether we were relaxing under the parasols, taking a dip in the pool, or exploring the nearby village of Villasimius, every moment felt like a dream. We can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise. Highly recommended for couples and anyone seeking an unforgettable Sardinian getaway!

We have stayed in the self service villas three times and, obviously, are very satisfied with them. The resort is for families with kids up to about 8. At 8 and 10 the kids club was of no interest to our children. It was very popular with younger kids. Breakfast at 25 per adult is not cheap... and children pay too. The grounds are really lovely and the private beach is excellent. Service is neither particularly good nor bad, except having to pay for clean beach towels. Never had to do that before.

My family and I stayed at this hotel this week and it was a very nice Hotel overall. The best part of this trip was the beach as we are beach people and absolutely loved it……Water was crystal clear and calm. We stayed in a Superior Room (which is a must), rooms are bigger and beach chairs/umbrella was included and reserved for our whole stay with the Superior Room. The room was very clean and nice. The staff at this Resort were amazing. It wasn’t always perfect as when it was really busy at the restaurants whether it was for breakfast or lunch, service was a little slower but not their fault and they were trying their best. I would like to thank Elena at the reception, she helped us from the beginning of our stay up until we left, she was amazing. Also, Alessandro (lifeguard) at the pool deck was very kind and helpful. Giacomo at the restaurant was just a hard worker and always made sure we were happy with our experience the whole time. And finally the boys (lifeguards)at the beach , Giuseppe, Davide were just super nice and helpful, they always made sure our extra chairs were ready when we got to the beach. My overall experience was nothing short of amazing, I will definitely return here and recommend this Hotel to everyone.

The rooms are old-fashioned (at least the one we stayed in) but spotlessly clean and a reasonable size. We stayed on the half-board option, and dinners felt like we were in a fine dining restaurant. The white tablecloths, beautiful presentations, and friendly wait staff were wonderful. The sea was a little choppy some days. But this wasn't an obstacle for my son, who knows how to have fun; on the contrary, it was a joy. The location is truly wonderful. The resort isn't very large, but it has everything you need, so you can relax comfortably.

Cozy room and resort has Many things and perfect for family with kids, staff are friendly, it has free parking, animation team were so nice and creative with so many activities. AC in the room was not strong enough but wasn’t bothering us. Room service was also good. If u have small strollers like buggy, u may struggle a bit with some areas. We did check out and they allowed us to leave late. There was a changing room available to shower and change before we leave.
Ola G — Google review
The resort was pretty and in a nice location. The rooms were ok and had closet space. I liked that there were 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The patio and private garden in front of the rooms is soooo beautiful!! The beach was pretty but it was very rocky and has a quick drop offwhich is unfortunate, especially if traveling with kids. We ended up renting a boat from Blu E Blu ( 10/10) and heading to Cala Pira and surrounding beaches for a nice sandy beach that had room to relax and to swim. 💕
Kara W — Google review
The hotel is georgous and the location is beautiful. A perfect beach with perfect water, 2 swimming pools, great beach and pool bars with really good and reasonably priced drinks. The food in the hotel resturants were okay, by far not the best food we've had in Italy but still okay but the prices were a quite high for the quantity and quality of the food. There are minimal alternative food options arround without driving so this was a shame. We had a kitchen in our accomodation type so we mostly cooked. The reason for 3 stars instead of 4 was the service charges. We stayed for 3 nights and were charged €72 additional for our stay which surprised me. This turned out to be the water, electric and gas bill and then the tourist tax. The tourist tax is higher than average due to this being a 4 star hotel so I understand this (€4 per person per night) but I was surprised by the utilty bill. From my research it seems this is a per person charge that is also added per child over 6. Be aware of this. I do not mind that charge but would have liked to have been made aware when we checked in :)

A peaceful gem! We had a truly relaxing stay at Cruccuris Resort. The adults-only atmosphere creates the perfect environment to unwind. The staff work hard and are always attentive and special thanks to Daniela, who was consistently helpful and available throughout our stay. The dinners were lovely, and the entire experience felt serene and well cared for. We hope to return next year!

From the moment we arrived at Cruccuris Resort, we were enveloped in a sense of absolute peace and serenity. The atmosphere is truly heavenly – quiet, calming, and perfect for anyone looking to escape the stress of everyday life. Every corner of the resort is designed to help you unwind. The lush gardens, the tranquil pool areas, and the gentle sounds of nature all contribute to a remarkably high relaxation factor. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, and you can finally breathe. What truly exceeded our expectations, however, was the cuisine. Every meal was a delight – fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. Whether it was breakfast which left nothing to be desired or an exquisite dinner, the culinary experience was consistently outstanding. A small downside was the distance to the beach – but we took it as a chance to get some light exercise and simply enjoyed the downhill walk. In the end, it added to the relaxed and healthy vibe of the whole stay. The staff deserves a special mention: everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We also loved how dog-friendly the resort is – our little dog felt completely at home and was allowed to join us almost everywhere, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Cruccuris Resort is a hidden gem – the perfect destination for anyone seeking peace, comfort, and exceptional food. We can’t wait to return!

This hotel is falsely advertised as a 4-star property and it barely qualifies for 2. The rooms are tired and soulless, with furniture that looks like it was salvaged from a 90s office clearance. There is no tea or coffee facilities in the room, and not even a complimentary bottle of water. Every single thing, including water, comes at a price. They treat their guests like cash cows, squeezing money out of every basic amenity. Need to iron your clothes? Forget a simple in-room iron. Instead, they offer an ironing service—for a fee, of course. It is not a luxury; it is extortion disguised as policy. The beach may look close on the map, but don’t be fooled. Walking there is a fantasy unless you are a professional hiker. Back at the hotel, the poolside loungers are stiff and uncomfortable—definitely not designed for relaxation. And the price? €400 a night for something that’s worth maybe €100 at best. A complete rip-off. Spend your money elsewhere.

Hotel Cruccuris: Premium Done Right (Mostly) Don’t let Sardinia’s generally relaxed pricing fool you – Hotel Cruccuris in Villasimius operates firmly in premium territory, and largely earns it. At €380 per night for a sea view room in September, expectations run high, and this hotel delivers on most fronts. What I Liked: The fundamentals are exceptional. Rooms are surprisingly large with big, comfortable beds and that sea view you’re paying for. Cleanliness is excellent throughout – clearly a property that takes maintenance seriously. The staff deserve particular credit: genuinely friendly and professional without the forced hospitality you often get at this price point. The pool area is well-maintained and the location works beautifully. Spiaggia Campus is a pleasant 20-minute walk, or you can use their shuttle service to Villasimius and various beaches. Parking is adequate, which isn’t always guaranteed in Sardinian coastal towns. September evenings were blissfully quiet, punctuated nicely by good live music on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday nights – a quality touch that adds real atmosphere. The hotel clearly understands what premium hospitality should feel like: effortless, clean, and genuinely welcoming. What I Didn’t Like: The bar pricing is genuinely shocking across the board. €9 for imported German beer is steep, but even local Ichnusa costs €6 for a mere 33cl bottle – more expensive than Oktoberfest, which takes some doing. The predictable result? Guests buy cheap alcohol elsewhere and retreat to their rooms with Netflix, leaving the bar completely dead. It’s a self-defeating strategy that kills any evening social atmosphere the hotel might otherwise create. The bathroom design is oddly compromised. Despite the generous room size, the shower feels cramped and poorly planned – a strange oversight in an otherwise well-executed space. The Verdict: Hotel Cruccuris gets the big things right: location, service, cleanliness, and comfort. The bar pricing actively undermines the social experience, but if you can live with that or plan accordingly, this is premium Sardinian hospitality done properly.

A total disappointment – never again! We chose Cruccuris Resort for our honeymoon, and after spending three nights at the end of June, we realized we could have made a much better choice. Let’s start with the positives: • The hotel is clean and well-maintained. • If you’re looking to completely disconnect and stay in a secluded place without leaving the hotel, the setting may suit you. However, the negative aspects significantly outweighed the good: • Extremely poor value for money. There are many hotels in the area offering similar or better standards at half the price. • Far from the beach. If you don’t bring your own beach gear, you’ll have to pay €54 per day to use the facilities (sunbed and umbrella) at their sister hotel, Stella Maris, located by the sea. • Breakfast was very disappointing. Omelettes are charged extra, pastries taste like store-bought items, and the “americano” was just lukewarm instant coffee. • The room, though clean and spacious, felt outdated in style and decor. • The minibar didn’t cool anything and only contained paid bottled water. There was no kettle, tea, or coffee in the room, making it impossible to relax and enjoy a quiet drink at night. • Upon checkout, we were politely asked for feedback, to which we responded honestly that we wouldn’t return. The only reply we received was a flat “I understand.” Throughout our stay, we kept wondering how this place receives such high ratings and why others choose it. Villasimius is a charming town with easy access to many beautiful beaches by car. You’re better off booking a reasonably priced hotel closer to the beach instead of searching for “luxury.” Cruccuris, unfortunately, fails to deliver on expectations as a 4-star hotel.

The Cruccuris Resort is a very nice adults-only hotel, settled in a beautiful garden and in a very tranquil surrounding. Our room (Junior Suite) was very spacious with a nice terrace and garden. Newly renovated bathroom and in total a real feel-good room. Very clean as well. All amenities of the hotel as pool, garden and gym are well maintained. We were on HB basis, which I would highly recommend as the food at dinner was purely amazing. You have a 4-course menu and many different items to choose. All were delicious and apart from a real good taste, also a feast for the eyes. Also for breakfast a lot of local and international items were available. For lunch you have the a-la carte poolside restaurant. All the staff at the hotel were super friendly and very professional. All in all we had a perfect stay!! Some of the best beaches of the island are also close by or in easy reach. Therefore a car is recommended.

I would strongly recommend staying here because of the lovely environment and great rooms. Good to know is that it’s quite a bit from the downtown area, and that you either have to go by own car (like us) or taxi (roughly 20-30 € per way = 40-60 € per night). The hotel have a shuttle to town but it stops going already at 18:30 at night. The restaurant at the hotel was so-so. Not our best food experience.

Very nice, quiet and comfortable Hotel! We really enjoyed our stay and everything was perfect! I even forgot a new pair of shoes in the room, which they shipped to Austria without hesitation! Very thankful for that!

Nestled in the south of Sardinia, Falkensteiner Resort Capo Boi is a luxurious 5-star hotel with its own private sandy beach. The resort offers a range of activities including boat trips, tennis courts, and an alfresco cinema. Families can enjoy the children's swimming academy, kids club with various creative activities, and multiple pools. The chic low-rise hotel also features a spa, restaurant with outside guest access, indoor and outdoor pools for a relaxing stay.
Amazing location with really helpful and accommodating staff. The services and infrastructure are top-notch throughout the property. We stayed here with our kids and were pleasantly surprised by the peaceful atmosphere. Unlike other resorts that can feel overwhelming with constant loud music and activities happening everywhere at once, this place struck the perfect balance. We were actually able to relax and unwind while still having plenty of fun family activities to enjoy. It’s rare to find a resort that caters so well to families without sacrificing the tranquil environment that parents need to truly recharge. Highly recommend for families looking for quality time together without the typical resort chaos!

Wonderful small beach, great buildings. Great for smaller kids, not that much activity for slightly older kids /teenagers. Food is buffet, but with quite some variation, loved the outdoor charcoal grill. Great service, they park and charge your car.

Immaculately maintained, boutique style family resort with great facilities. The staff were incredibly friendly (esp Enrico) and the kids club crew were awesome (esp Greta, Aurora & Vincenzo). I would recommend hiring a car and exploring some of the beautiful sandy beaches nearby as the private beach at the resort has some rocks (similar to most of the beaches in Europe). It is well worth the money, especially the half board option.. Pack some nice clothes for dinner, it’s a beautiful occasion to dress up and enjoy the food, wine and view. Plus there’s a kids disco at 8 with Falky the resort mascot so that the kids can go off and have some fun.

We had a wonderful family holiday! Truly appreciated how friendly and attentive the reception team was from the moment we arrived. The location is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of green spaces that offer comfort and relaxation at any time of day. This is perfect for families. The food was excellent, and all the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Great spa and such lovely people, special thanks to Graziela and Cristiana, the beautician, true professionals. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We stayed at the Falkensteiner Hotel for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience from check-in to check-out. The hotel itself is large, with beautifully maintained common areas that give a welcoming atmosphere. One of the biggest highlights for us was how incredibly kid-friendly the environment is. Every facility has something designed for children—whether it’s the pool, playground, entertainment programs, or even the buffet, which includes a thoughtful kids’ menu with everything little ones might want or need. This is by far the most child-friendly hotel we’ve stayed at, and what impressed us most is that it manages to provide everything for children without compromising the adult experience. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent, offering plenty of options to suit all tastes. A special mention goes to Michelle, head of service, who kindly explained how the dinner service works and was very attentive to our needs and feedback. Overall, our stay was amazing—the food, the staff, and the facilities all exceeded expectations. We would highly recommend this hotel, especially for families looking for a perfect balance between relaxation and fun for kids.

We are a family of 5 (3 under 6 kids) and we recently spend 2 weeks here. Going by the reviews and price we were expecting a high end hotel with great attention to detail but this was not the case. Rooms are average, we paid for a partial seaview room and on arrival we found a tiny unkept garden at the back with outgrown trees blocking the full view so no sea could be seen, we had to raise a complain and they sent the gardeners in, already a bad start to a 5star holiday with 3 small kids excited to see the great promised view. Beds & pillows were average and lacking comfort - we had previously been to Vila Vita in Portugal and had a good comparable of what to expect but this place did not deliver on the same quality, not ideal when you'll be sleeping there for 2 weeks. The is a poor management with restaurants all over the place, missing orders, once we had to wait an hour for a kids pizza and never arrived or apologies until we had to complain which put a bitter taste to the whole holiday, managers didn't seem too bothers and despite us raising this issue and saying we wanted to speak to a general manager (who isnt there every day) they never approached us or tried to speak to us so we left it like that. 3 lovely pools & a beach with same staff managing them all meaning service was very slow and sporadically, there were even days there was no pool staff at all also, Pizzas were only made in 1 restaurant which meant staff had to leave us waiting at times, the whole operation seemed disjointed, again lack of a manager being on top of staff seemed the issue. having 3 very young kids meant waiting for food / service during the day being stressful. However staff in the main restaurant (Sandro, Carla, and others can't remember their names) were amazing and make up for the rest. Also a great call out to the Kids Club and their manager - they truly made our holiday and if it wasnt for them it would have been a total disaster - The kids club staff was outstanding: Sofia, Eduardo, Nicolas, Tomaso, Greta are just some of them but all were amazing and made every effort possible to deliver a great holiday!! However Very disappointed with the management of the place, waiting times for food and quality of beds that we won't plan to come back here again. Thank you the the Kids Club, the Manager and all the staff for doing an amazing job, i believe this is the only reason most people come back!

Top hotel in the south of the Sardines. Luxury relaxation at its best. Welcome reception was class, food delicious, service great and especially the massage was awesome. We will definitely come back one day Just one negative thing, the pool was too cold for me 🙈
Lukas B — Google review
This was not 5 star stay. Property is beautiful, the view to the mountain and beach is stunning. But we had a horrible service. The check-in was so unprofessional, we basically were left to explore and find ourselves on what actually exists at the hotel. The restaurant stuff was treating us like we own them something, when we were ordering overpriced wine for dinner or asking for an omelette at breakfast. But seemed like German speaking families had a different experience. ac does not go lower than 26 degrees and it was VERY hot in the room. They give you a bottle of water PER DAY (at a 5 star resort) which is non sense. I see falkensteiner team is giving replies on comments and it’s great, I am a hotelier myself and your tech side is working great, but we are taking about hospitality and this was a very poor experience unfortunately.

We celebrated our 10th anniversary at Almar, and it was a truly wonderful experience. Even though my husband and I planned this trip together, I still wanted to surprise him a little. I wrote to the hotel beforehand, and when we checked in, the reception team congratulated us. Later, we found a bottle of sparkling wine waiting in our room. I really appreciated that the hotel took care of my request. The room was basic but comfortable. The gym was small but decent, with essential equipment, and the staff there were friendly and offered helpful advice. The pool area was spacious and quiet, and the beach was easily accessible. The hotel even had its own designated area with arranged sunbeds and umbrellas. Breakfast was generous, and I loved how little oil the cook used for the omelet. The buffet dinner was simply amazing — we were impressed by both the quality and variety. It was exactly the relaxing holiday we wanted — we didn’t even leave the hotel! With tennis, padel, and basketball available to book, you can still keep active. We also noticed that the hotel staff engage with children, which would be a great bonus for families traveling with kids. Highly recommended!

Good hotel but definitely not 5 star. Our room was a newly renovated suite which was lively and big. The rest of the hotel is a bit tired and simple which doesn’t match the newly renovated room style. We stayed early June and service staff were not attentive and were slow. Local and Italian guests were attended to first. No iron or steamer provided food rooms and have to use laundry service for any ironing needs. Only allowed one beach towel for the stay, we asked each day for new ones whilst returning old ones but were told hotel policy is one per day. Overall just good. Location to the beach is great and the lake.

A perfect and quite resort in an amazing location. During our stay, when a family member unexpectedly needed medical assistance, the team went above and beyond to help with hospital arrangements, transportation, and support throughout the entire process. Their kindness and care made all the difference.

Very nice place but I would not consider this as a 5 star. The location is in the middle of nowhere so you would expect to have nice food on the resort. Food is very bland and tasteless. We ended up eating out every day. Breakfast is awful. The swimming pool is 2.10 metres all round so if you are not a confident swimmer, like myself...do not book. There is no area in the pool that is less than 2.10. Bad design. Actually ruined my holiday. Whoever designed the pool should be sacked. I think that is one of the reasons why no one was hardly in it! Our rooms were ok but very small. Would not visit again but i will say that the staff are very welcoming. 4 star at a push.
Itsuitz — Google review
We have been visiting this hotel for a while, always very accommodating, with wonderful beach, accommodation after renovations and absolutely breathtaking food. The disappointment comes when it comes to enhancement of etiquette, even 4* hotel requests for men long pants for dinner, here you see men in shorts, slippers or beach pants. Also, many people outside of hotel use beach equipments and no one seems to be bothered by that - it is not very much comfortable having so many non-guests around. Small things pull the overall level a bit lower than this 5* hotel deserves.

This was the second stop on our trip across Sardegna with our group of friends. This resort is absolutely beautiful and accommodates all 8 of us. The beach is phenomenal with great swimming, comfy chairs and umbrellas. The pool is also gorgeous and there are beautiful hiking trails nearby. You can also walk to the golf course less than half a mile from the hotel. It has all of the amenities you could want including a gym and spa. There is breakfast restaurant, a lunch restaurant, and two dinner restaurants, with one being on the beach. They even have nighttime entertainment and live shows. The only downsides are some service hiccups and it is pricey. But it was a perfect place to spend 4 nights and explore Villasimius. You can walk to town, but it takes about 20 minutes, or you can take a cab. We had a great experience!
Caroline J — Google review
This hotel is way overpriced for what it is. The room we were in had an air conditioning that made a high pitched whine and didn’t cool off the room. The pictures on the booking.com site and on the hotel website were not accurate for our particular room. The balcony showed a nice dining table and chairs and a sofa/ loveseat. What was there was an old wooden table and two wooden chairs with peeling varnish and rust. The “ garden “ view was literally a wall of overgrown trees and vegetation. The pools all close by 6-7 because the dinner takes place by the pool. They show all these great photos of their pool lit up in the evening but it’s closed to swim and it’s just decoration for their expensive buffet dining tables. It says beach front but it’s not truly beach front as you take a shuttle or you can walk quite aways to the beach so not my definition of beach front.

Great resort! Wide beach, powder sand, good and war sea. Food is excellent especially if you like seafood. Beef and fois gras was the best for me.

VOI Tanka Village is an upscale resort located in Villasimius, just a short distance from the town center and about an hour's drive from Cagliari Elmas Airport. The resort offers various accommodation options such as rooms, suites, and bungalows. It features five pools, five bars, a pizzeria, and is situated near the beautiful Porto Giunco beach.
We stayed at VOI Tanka Village for an extended period, which allowed us to fully experience and appreciate the many services offered. The location is stunning, with a beautiful beach and crystal-clear sea, perfect for children as well. The Selected Area is well-maintained in every detail, the Mirto Terrazza restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, always well-presented, and the gym is fully equipped and functional. A special thanks to Hotel Manager Nicola Dettorino, always attentive and helpful, and to General Manager Emiliano Mangini for his kindness and attention towards our children. We would also like to thank Gessica from the hair salon for her friendliness, Erika at the Oasys buffet for her helpfulness, Daniele for his assistance with our luggage, the hostesses at the dining room entrance, always welcoming and smiling, Stefania at the newsstand for her cheerful attitude, Francesco, the gym assistant, for his professionalism and courtesy, and Mirka and Vito and Alice who made the breakfast and the dinner service even more pleasant with their attentiveness and kindness. A special mention goes to the lifeguards, always attentive and caring: they helped us with small needs on the beach (such as providing a life ring for our little Massimo when his inflatable broke) and made us feel safe during the difficult moment of the Punta Molentis fire, actively participating in rescue efforts. A big thank you also goes to Franco to promptly arranging a move to first line gazeebo. We also appreciated SPA Manager Raffaella, always kind and welcoming, and Mariangela, extremely professional for manicure and pedicure services. Finally, a heartfelt thanks to Lucia and Caterina for their meticulous work in keeping our rooms spotless and for all the smiles and attention they gave our children, Olivia and Massimo, making this vacation even more special. Suggestion for the future: extending the gym opening hours for guests to allow more flexibility for workouts. VOI Tanka Village is a resort we highly recommend and a place where we would gladly return: a combination of breathtaking nature, high-quality services, and a staff that truly makes the difference.

This village in Sardinia is a great gateway. It is one hour from the Cagliari airport but once you get here then there is no need to go out. You have everything in this little village, beautiful beach, various restaurants, bar, gelateria, phaacy, shops, playground for kids, volleyball, football, spa, hair dresser, the list is endless. The shops seem a bit expensive but for emergency they are there. Oasis restaurant in particular was great. There was buffet with various options for salads, cold cuts, pastas and meat/fish. We had a company retreat so I am not sure how accessible the village is when booking but once you get here, you are good to go. Service was great, the rooms were clean and the toiletries were amazing, air conditioned and comfortable beds. We had activities in group which was amazing, the staff were super nice and accomodtive. Really enjoyable and ideal if travelling with family or groups. Loved it.

I booked the bungalow superior and i can tell you that thisbis the worst experience ever. The room is old, destroyed and is can't be the room of 5 stars hotel. The room is super old and nothing is working. The shower is leaking and the hot water is not enough for 2 person because they are using 50 liters heater. The room door was broken and you actually couldn't close it. Regardless my 1001 request to fix it they never fixed it. As well please buy a soap and hair shampoo because hotel give you a soft pressed soap and shampoo which is unusable unfortunately. The beach and sea is just amazing. The food is really good. The small and big pools are awesome for small kids..

We spent a few days at this hotel with some family, and overall it was a mixed experience. The positives The hotel has its own private beach, which is a great plus, although you do have to pay extra for beach chairs. The food was fresh and varied, definitely enjoyable, though not quite at the level you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. There’s a large outdoor Olympic-size pool, which is great, but note that a swimming cap is required. The common areas like the theatre room, shops, bars, and restaurants were well-maintained and pleasant to spend time in. The resort is very spacious, so they offer a free mini bus service that makes it easier to get around. The staff were really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The less positive There were quite a few restrictions: you can’t use cash anywhere inside the resort or swimming caps are mandatory at the outdoor pool. If you want your beach towel deposit refunded, you have to go all the way to the reception, not the towel station where you got them. Long waiting times at reception (for check-in, check-out or just to ask something), we often had to wait up to 30 minutes. The rooms felt very outdated, weird toiletries, not the cleanest and definitely not up to 4-star standards. No internet in the rooms. While we appreciated some aspects of our stay, especially the beach, staff, and shared spaces, we left feeling that the value for money just wasn't there, especially considering the condition of the rooms.

Avoid by all means! We are currently at Tanka, and I must say this is the most ridiculous hotel I've encountered in over 20 years of traveling. We spent a week here in August as a family of five (two adults and three kids), and it's difficult to pinpoint where to begin given how mismanaged and off everything feels. Here's my comprehensive list of grievances: 1. Food: The options at the Oasis buffet were shockingly limited. No waffles, pancakes, or custom-made omelets at breakfast. For dinner, there was almost no choice — just one type of fish and meat, with 2-3 pasta options, but typically only one edible option. There are also no labels for the dishes and the staff don’t speak English. So you have to pick a dish based on the visual appearance only, it is very inconvenient for the guests. This is inexcusable for a 4-star hotel in Italy. 2. Pool: Yes, guests are required to wear swimming caps in the pool, which is closed from 1 to 2 PM for no discernible reason—it’s just empty during this time, not cleaned. I have never seen a swimming cap requirement at any other outdoor pools, even at other 4* and 5* hotels in Sardinia. 3. Sunbeds: While the hotel boasts a private beach, guests still have to pay for sunbeds and towels. Be prepared to spend around 200 euros for a week just for a pair of beach beds and an umbrella and 2 euro per towel per day just to get a fresh one. 4. Payment system: The hotel uses bizarre cards that you have to load with cash, which can only be used in some areas. Shops don’t accept these hotel cards, the arcade area only takes cash, and some restaurants only accept hotel cards while others take credit cards. You cannot charge expenses to your room. It's chaotic and incredibly inconvenient for guests. 5. Hotel animation: From 10 am to 12 pm, loud hotel animation blares at the beach. It’s impossible to relax with a strange guy shouting in Italian and music blasting. There’s no option to enjoy a peaceful beach while listening to the waves. 6. Smoking: Despite being a family hotel with many small children, smoking is allowed everywhere - on the beach, near the pool, and in all public areas around the resort. Every time I tried to rest, someone was smoking close by. An advice for the hotel management - set up designated smoking areas for smoking guests. 7. Cosmetics: Instead of standard shower gel and shampoo, we were provided strange tablets that are ineffective for washing hands or body, let alone hair. I’d love to meet the person who decided to replace normal toiletries with these tablets. We paid €9,500 for a week and couldn't even have basic shower gel and shampoo. And this is not about environment policy - our friends stayed at Tanka Select area and got normal shampoo and gel in plastic bottles. So this is a typical cost saving approach. 8. Crowds: August is incredibly overcrowded, making it almost unbearable with numerous crying babies and running kids all around. 9. Staff attitude: The staff is not always welcoming; I rarely encountered smiles or a warm reception. 10. Water refill policy: Guests are not allowed to refill water bottles at the water stations, forcing us to buy bottled water at the hotel. This approach is neither environmentally friendly nor appropriate for a hotel charging over €1,000 per night. I could go on and on with this list. On a positive note, the sea is beautiful, the white sandy beach is lovely, and the infrastructure (tennis/paddle courts, basketball, etc.) is decent. The rooms (we stayed in a Dimora two-bedroom suite) were relatively clean and updated. However, these positives do not compensate for the numerous downsides I've mentioned. Never again.

VOI Tanka Village is a perfect holiday destination! The hotel is located right by a beautiful sandy beach with crystal-clear water — truly the highlight of this place. Extremely Disappointing and Unsafe – Avoid Our stay at VOI Tanka Hotel was a disaster. Most shockingly, our child was injured on a dry, unwetted pool slide — a serious safety issue. The room was dark and uninviting, completely misrepresented in the hotel’s photos. The food quality was far from a 4-star standard, and communication in the restaurant was nearly impossible due to the staff’s limited English. Mandatory swim caps in all pools, including for kids, paid beach sunbeds, all animations in Italian, and the list can go on. We canceled our stay after two nights, and the hotel refused to refund the rest of our booked stay. One of our worst travel experiences ever. Absolutely not recommended.

Unfortunately this is our third year coming to Tanka Village and it will certainly be our last. Every year they have gotten more disorganized and rude, even though we are repeating customers who just with our family will have spent over 20,000 euro this summer at this resort. This year, after a long day of travel with my elderly mother who came from America and my young son, we arrived at Tanka to a check-in line that lasted an hour and a half. We had to stand in this line even though we filled in the requested information beforehand in the email we received (attached here) that said if we paid in advance we would be able to have priority check in and skip the lines. This was completely avoidable if Tanka had been more organized. Not only that, but we were told our room wasn't ready and that we would receive a call when it was. No call ever came, so we went at 3pm to try the keys and they did not work. We went back to the Reception (which is very far away from the rest of the resort) and had to wait AGAIN in the long line. Once there, we asked for the key to be activated. We were told that it was. Upon returning to our room for the third time, the key still did not work. After all of this, I contacted the hotel to tell them about our extremely dissatisfying experience and the response from one of their 'managers' was that they have over 2,000 people staying at the resort and basically it's not their fault. When I told them we were third time visitors and that this was unacceptible, the response from this same person as you can see attached here was to repeat that they had over two thousand people and he couldn't possibly be bothered with us. Unfortunately, our experience is not unique. Our friends also came to stay here and reported rude staff at check in and a general negative attitude towards guests. The hotel is extremely disorganized and they make everything overly complicated. You cannot pay cash in certain places and must put money on the Tanka card, but in other places you can only pay cash. They do not even give you real soap or shampoo, they only give you strange little tablets. Also, there is not enough hot water for three people to shower, it runs out. For the prices they ask and the services they claim to offer, this place is not worth the money at all. Their customer service is abysmal and their communication is laughable. Do not come here unless you want to waste time, money, and energy.

Suimi's Hotel is located in Villasimius, just outside of Campu Longu. The hotel features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and garden views of the pool, as well as free WiFi throughout the property.
One of the best hotels I have ever been. The best of all is the owner, Claudia, which makes you feel like at home. Every detail is thought to give you the maximum comfort. Rooms are large, breakfast I very good with a lot of different choices. The swimming pool is nice and with enough space for all the clients. If you ask for a picnic they provide you with a small portable refrigerator to keep the food and drinks cold. All the personnel is very kind. It is easy to park nearby. I would like to rate them with a 6, but the maximum rate is a 5. Sooner than later we will come back to this wonderful place.

Stop looking and just book!!! You found the place you are looking for. Short walk to the beach, with everything you could need provided (umbrella, cooler, beach towels). Lovely breakfast, clean tidy hotel. However, the best part is Claudia the owner and her team. They take such good care of you, it truly feels like being with family. After 2.5 months of traveling Europe in 4 and 5 star hotels and Airbnbs, this was honestly our favorite place.

A must stay in Villasimius. It’s a great hotel. Everything is really clean and tidy. The rooms have good AC, there is new water everyday, also towels for the beach/pool and even a beach umbrella. The bed is really comfortable. The breakfast is amazing and has even pancakes with nutella and all kinds of fresh fruit. The pool is really nice and has really tasty lunch offers. The hotel has a very good location, close to the sea and the city center. Claudia is fantastic and honestly the nicest person possible. She greeted us very friendly, gave us tasty restaurant recommendations and was at total amazing. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and it definitely deserves 5 stars ⭐️

We had a wonderful week at this hotel! 🌞 Breakfasts were delicious and varied, a perfect start to each day. The staff was absolutely amazing – always smiling, helpful, and ready to assist not only with hotel matters but also with planning attractions and excursions in the area. The rooms were cleaned daily with great care, and the location is fantastic, just a short walk from the sea. Special thanks to Klaudia for her outstanding beach recommendations – thanks to her we discovered some real hidden gems. ❤️ Thank you for an unforgettable stay, and we hope to be back soon!

We cannot thank Hotel Suimi’s and Claudia enough for making our trip to Sardinia even more wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and in a fantastic location. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful! We’ve traveled to many places, but we’ve never seen such variety and attention when it comes to food allergies! Claudia is simply amazing, always ready to help with anything, and she does it with such kindness and warmth that we’ve never experienced before. If we could give more than five stars, we absolutely would, everything was perfect! Thank you again for everything, Claudia!❤️

One of my favorite places where I have stayed over the years! Location very closed (on walk) to one of the beautiful beach of Sardinia and in the same time close to city center of Villasimius but not in a crowded area. The pool with jacuzzi area it was a relaxing place after a hot day. The room was cleaned every day and looks like a brand new. The bed was more than comfortable. Places for parking on the street it was found easy every day and evening. About the breakfast what I could say is just amazing! And in the end I want to mention about Claudia, the owner, who is a incredible person on how is dealing with all the guests and how helpful and friendly could be! Suimi's Hotel is that kind of place where you want to come in vacation again as soon as possible!

It was our first time in Villasimius and it was a great stay! We always prefer modern designs , clean spaces and simple design in the bathroom, and this checked everything. They do a lot to make you feel like you are on vacation - very nice welcome, any details or advice that you might need, high standard cleaning, bedding and towels. Umbrella available, nice terrace. Breakfast was amazing and more than expected in Italy. You can go to the city center by 5 minutes walk!

This hotel was one of the nicest we have ever been to. For a family of 4 with small kids was perfect to have the option of a pool whenever the beach is not suitable due to the weather. Breakfast was very nice, a lot of options available, the location is perfect, walking distance to the beach, the hotel provides an umbrella and also the towels for the beach, toys for the sand castle, which is very useful when you travel with kids that need to be entertained and kept busy most of the times. Claudia, our host, was absolutely amazing, doing everything and anything for her guests. I must say she made the holiday worth for! Thank you Claudia and to your team as well for cleaning our room every single day, regardless we were asking or not. The pool, the restaurant, the hotel room , everything was sparkling clean! Having the restaurant next door was a plus as well and she was always helping us with reservations and take away as well. Thank you! Ruxandra

Place is clean and modern. Rooms are pretty big. Parking is for free. Also is centrally located. We highly recommend this hotel.

- Nice and clean room - It has a little outside bedroom terrace with table and chairs - It's worth the value for money considering the expensive offer in the area - The staff is friendly - Parking is available right in front of the hotel though there are few parking lots - there's 2 bottles of water in the room - Wi-fi is ok if u compare it with other hotels service in the area - Breakfast is ok if you don't expect a wild buffet. It looks clean and tastes fresh.

Stayed here for 4 days in June and was very impressed with this place. Rooms were lovely and clean, big and bathrooms were spacious also very clean. Staff were very friendly, helpful and really went out of their way to try and help you or even to try and speak english. Breakfast was enough, fresh fruit, coffee, cereals, pastries. Perfect way to start the day. Walking distance to Spaggia di Simius and in the heart of the local town next to plenty of restaurants and shops. (Translated by Google) Welcoming, Clean, Tidy, Modern. Breakfast welcomes you in a bright room with good local products, all elegantly presented. The furnishings are taken care of by the Kartells scattered here and there, by the cushions in the living rooms in shades, a Sardinian piece of furniture of great value leaning as if by chance on a wall makes its excellent figure, then that excellent clean scent and finally the small garden that leads to the rooms. For me elegant and very very welcoming. Laura who opens the door for us is a wonderful hostess. The rooms are equipped with everything, large shower, well-stocked minibar, comfortable bed and excellent pillows, large television ... in short, a house that hosts and that makes hospitality its slogan and it is true it seems like a new house for newlyweds in love. Heartfelt compliments to Laura who mixes her professionalism with the sweetness of a mother and wife and to the interior designer (he has the same tastes as me!!) (Original) Accogliente, Pulita, Ordinata,Moderna. Per me elegante e molto molto accogliente.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Domu Noa in Villasimius, and we couldn’t recommend it more. We stayed in Room 7, which turned out to be the most isolated and peaceful of all – a real gem. Initially, we were a bit skeptical due to some reviews mentioning noise in other rooms, but that absolutely wasn’t our experience. Room 7 was calm, spacious, beautifully renovated, and came with a lovely balcony. One small note of caution: don’t leave the windows open too long, as the heat can invite in some insects or the occasional lizard – a common thing in Sardinia. The staff were extremely professional, kind, and helpful, always smiling and making us feel welcome. While English communication was sometimes a bit challenging, we managed perfectly with a mix of basic words and gestures. The atmosphere of the hotel is that of a well-loved family home — cozy, intimate, and clearly taken care of with pride. Breakfast was excellent, with a good selection and attention to quality. It was the perfect start to each day. A couple of small suggestions: first, the AC unit in our room was outdated — it made noise, vibrated, and emitted a strong blue light, which might be bothersome for those who prefer to sleep in the dark. Replacing it would make a big difference. Secondly, there’s no kettle or coffee machine in the rooms. For those who enjoy a quiet coffee in their pajamas, this was a bit of a limitation, as the lobby machines require staff assistance and aren’t available 24/7. A simple fix would be to add kettles in each room. Overall, our experience was perfect, and we would happily return. Domu Noa is a small haven of calm and Sardinian charm.

(Translated by Google) Perfect solution for tourists who want to experience Sardinia by wandering around the beaches during the day - one more beautiful than the other and a maximum of 15/20' away - and in the evening enjoying the center of Villasimìus. The room was very clean, welcoming and spacious, furnished in a modern style with great taste and equipped with a very comfortable double bed. We slept there which was wonderful! The bathroom was large with a large walk-in shower. The room, on the ground floor, overlooked a small private green space with table and chairs which enriched and embellished the offer. However, all this would have been nothing compared to the super welcome. To tell the truth, we were not sparing with personal stories, considerations and questions of various types, but what we received in return was priceless: Laura, Barbara and Sebastiano provided us with countless information and advice on restaurants, local habits, beaches and goodness of Sardinian gastronomy. Without their friendliness, our holiday would not have been the same. Thanks and greetings again to everyone from Emanuela and Luciano!

We were truly disappointed! Terrible service and poor value for money. The prices were way too high, especially considering the lack of garnish with the fish dishes. They wanted to sell us very heavy (and thus expensive) fish. The staff was generally unfriendly, with the exception of the female waitresses (who were lovely). We were a group of 11 people, among which were Swiss and Northern Italian people who have been to this region for over 20 years and have eaten multiple times at this place. Nonetheless, we were treated as though we were one-time customers, whereas they treated the local group next to us like princes! Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place anymore.
Alessandro — Google review
Such a poor experience. Only 3 people out of 4 got their food, my husband had to repeatedly remind and clear out who ordered what. Empty dishes were standing forever at the table. The price-quality ratio is also disappointing, 7 small raviolis with two spoons of sauce - 16 euros, that’s ridiculous. My portion of spaghetti with vongole was super small compared to normal ones you always get in Italy and had a few clams (I didn’t count, but that looked pathetic 🤪), while they were 22 euros 🫢

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff. Philippe the server and Mikayela the Bartender (as well as the other bar girl) were fantastic, every step asking how we are and trying to make our time that bit more pleasant. We stayed 3 nights in this hotel, second half of June 2022. This hotel really needs a renovation and refreshment, the building as well as the furniture… !! We had an old fashioned room with a terrace like in a well, overlooking an ugly yard. Fortunately the room was clean! The pool looks nice on pictures but in reality the place is not well maintained! The loungers and furniture are worn and have holes in it, the sun umbrellas and synthetic turf are marginal… Breakfast is more or less ok… The only good thing about this hotel is the kindness of the people who work here. I really don’t understand that people can give this place a good review what “the hotel accommodation” itself is concerned… and that’s just what you really want to have when you are on holiday… a good hotel accommodation ! This place is way too expensive for what you get !

Fantastic stay at this hotel. My husband and I needed a restful week to ourselves and found Hotel Su Sergenti perfect - very clean and proudly maintained, lovely lobby and garden with a refreshing pool, fantastic location halfway between the town centre and beach. We liked that it was family owned and there was a real attention to maintaining good standards and taking care of guests. Would have given this 4 stars rather than 3 based on experience. Couldn't recommend enough!

We stayed 3 nights and paid approx. 500€. I found it strange that a hotel charges a client for taking a towel for the pool (it has a pool as a service for client) and for sunbeds in the beach 20-30€ per day (the sunbeds in the beach is also a service for the client). At the same time, when you book this hotel in booking.com, they don’t mention any of this additional prices. I’m just saying here it is so strange and lots of money especially when you paid good price per night. Apart from that, I let 3 stars for the hospitality of people working there, nice atmosphere in the garden and for the cleanliness of our hotel room.

The Hotel Stella D'Oro offers simple but comfortable rooms, as well as complimentary breakfast. It is located 50 metres from the main square of Villasimius and 1.5 km from the Simius beach. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is excellent value for money.
Wonderful hotel ❤️ I totally recommend. The room was extremely clean, and it was also cleaned every day. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very spacious and quiet. Sleep quality was excellent. Breakfast included. Excellent location. Very close to shops and restaurants, and also the best ice cream shop. Giulia, Chiara, and the whole family was great, always nice and very helpful. We had an amazing stay in Villasimius. I would come back, and I would totally recommend.

We loved this family run hotel. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Quiet, comfortable and very clean room, close to the main street with restaurants.

This is a wonderful family run hotel who take pride in ensuring their guests have a pleasant stay. There was no issue storing our bicycles safely in the garage. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast is excellent as are the attentive staff. Highly recommended!

What an amazing hotel! Very beautiful and charming, the rooms were very nice with little balconies, great location in the center of Villasimius walking distances from the restaurants, shops and also you can walk to the beach! There is also parking included with the hotel, which is key if you want to drive to different beaches. The staff is so helpful with recommendations. Breakfast was very delicious with different options. The ricotta was so fresh. There are robust, delicious options with meat, cheese, croissants, cake, coffee etc. It’s a family owned hotel and everyone makes you feel like at home! It has a unique charm with old Sardinian decorations, open air dining area, and lobbies. Everyone went out of their way to help us. We highly recommend this place. We give this place 5 five golden stars or “Stelle d’oro” ⭐️

Great rooms (clean, spacious, quiet, with good AC), great location, very good breakfast, covered parking. The staff was lovely too !

We were travelling Sardinia and decided to stop here for two nights. The staff is extremely nice and speaks good English. They were very helpful and suggested the beaches that would be perfect for that day. The location offers free parking very close to the accomodations. The hotel is basically in the city centre so everything is walking distance. All in all a wonderful experience.

We stayed only 1 night in comfort type of the room. The room itself was huge. We had small balcony with view to the patio with place to hang and dry towels and swimming suits, and table to rest. Room was renovated recently and it was the best shower we had. It was one of the best breakfasts we had in Sardynia and we stayed in 10 other places. You can feel that it is place created by family and they put their hart to build it. You can also see that they choose more expensive ferniture so it is more durable. We came by car and there were some parking spots avaliable in the nearby but they are payed during the day.

I can’t say enough positive things about this hotel! Our personal experience was fantastic interacting with the staff, especially Eliza, Francesca, & Patrizia at breakfast. They all went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help with getting oriented in Villasimius. Our room was so clean and beautiful along with a lovely balcony overlooking the town and the mountains. I would highly recommend this establishment and I will be staying here again in the future.

Palazzo Michelangelo, situated in Villasimius, offers a range of amenities including concierge services, allergy-free rooms, a seasonal outdoor pool, and free WiFi. The property provides picturesque views of the pool and garden and features family rooms with an outdoor fireplace. Guests have praised the great rooms, delicious home-cooked breakfasts, and convenient location close to beaches and restaurants.
I recently spent three nights at this lovely hotel and everything about the stay exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect — just a short walk from the town center, which made it incredibly easy to explore shops, restaurants, and the local atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and pleasant. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxed and inviting. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet — just what we needed for a restful getaway. Although we weren’t there for long, everything was so well taken care of that it made a big impression. I genuinely can’t think of anything to complain about — everything was spot on. Highly recommended if you're visiting Villasimius and want a peaceful, conveniently located place to stay. I’d absolutely return!
Patrycja F — Google review
Stepping into Palazzo Michelangelo felt like a warm hug from a long-lost friend. From the moment we arrived, Tina and Ivan welcomed us with such genuine warmth and kindness, they made us feel less like guests and more like family. It was the kind of hospitality that made us want to unpack our bags and never leave. Our room was a sanctuary of comfort and space, with a bed so heavenly, we suspect it was stuffed with clouds. After a long day of "hard work" lying on the beach—a struggle we were more than happy to endure—the pool became our oasis. The cocktails and nibbles served by poolside were nothing short of miraculous, a perfect reward for our tireless efforts in the sun. We're already dreaming of our return to this Sardinian slice of paradise. Palazzo Michelangelo isn't just a hotel; it's a home away from home we can't wait to visit again.
Daniela Z — Google review
We couldn’t have loved our time here more if we tried. Ivan and his mum are the most beautiful people so warm, helpful, and kind to us throughout our stay. The hotel truly feels like a home away from home, from the comfort of the room (and the gorgeous roses they left on our bed) to the delicious and thoughtfully prepared breakfast each morning. We can’t recommend staying here highly enough, it’s a special place run by even more special people.
Matt R — Google review
We LOVED our stay at Palazzo Michelangelo. A key highlight is the warmth shown by Nocerino and Ivan - we genuinely felt that they cared for us and their hospitality was outstanding. This makes such a big difference! It’s really a charming place to stay at. It is not a massive hotel and so you feel a bit at home with just a handful of other guests. Their little dog is also a nice host 😊 The room was comfortable and spacious, with a nice big mirror outside the bathroom (which is helpful for dressing up) and a large wardrobe. The bed was comfortable. The unlimited buffet breakfast was also really good. Ivan kindly offered me multiple coffees each day, and catered for our vegetarian food requests - including on our second day, specifically getting something new made when their initial warm food options were not vegetarian. My wife also got dairy-alternatives for her coffee. Fruits and cereals and cake really make this a lovely spread! There’s ample parking on the street outside, we didn’t have issues to find a spot on any day. The mini bar is stocked well and priced reasonably, although we didn’t use it. On our final day, since our flight was late in the evening, we decided to stay until 6 pm and Ivan kindly offered us a discounted rate for this extension. During our stay, they were always responsive on WhatsApp. They recommended to us a lovely gelataria which we got gelatos from twice and felt was a fantastic recommendation. The location is also conveniently near the town centre, which is walking distance - and yet it feels so quiet and calm at via Michelangelo. There was also a swimming pool, but the beaches being so close, we didn’t really use this. On the whole - look no further if you were to visit Villasimius and definitely stay here! We will certainly be back ourselves.

The best place to stay in Villasimius! Amazing family run business, literally couldn’t do enough for us, we’d been travelling for some time & they accommodated us with arranging laundry for us, gave us exceptional recommendations on places to visit & to eat, rooms were spacious and clean, pool area was gorgeous & breakfast was lovely. Wouldn’t usually be one to review but felt it was necessary as the family and place was beautiful. Will definitely be back, thanks again.

I had an excellent stay at Aras Hotel Boutique. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore the city and reach the beach. Highly recommend!

Dark rooms that smell moldy, with window overlooking the inner corridor. Very central and apparently modern structure, but as soon as you arrive the nightmare begins: all the rooms on the ground floor are dark as a crypt and the only window overlooks the inner corridor next to the front door. After reciting some litanies in the crypt I go to the boy in reception and ask for a room with a window, he offers it immediately, too bad there is an obvious musty smell. After an hour I have an asthma attack and go back to the receptionist highlighting the problem of the musty smell. He promptly enters the room and after two nice inhalations declares: I'M SORRY BUT I DON'T HEAR ANYTHING. And I am a little bewildered, I reply: so what? And he, in a bad tone: AND SO IT'S YOUR PROBLEM! And he walks away heedless. My partner and I are shocked. We immediately went to another facility. Obviously the 630 euros paid for the 4 nights booked were not returned. Congratulations for the professionalism and education!!! VOTE: Zero! DON’T GO!

I had a great experience at this hotel! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. When I had a small injury, they were very caring and even provided us with a cooling pack – which I really appreciated. The reception team was welcoming and professional, and we always felt well taken care of. Also, a big thank you to the breakfast staff for their kindness and service. Overall, a very pleasant stay – I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place!
DjEnis U — Google review
Beware that the rooms have windows that face an internal corridor so are dark, without air and smell terribly of mould. When my partner nicely told the staff member, he told us this was ‘his problem’ and that he couldn’t smell anything. Only positive is the location which is right in centre of town.

Amazing hotel in the center of Villasimius! We stayed there for 3 nights in the high season in August, and you just got everything close by. Restaurants, bars and shops next to it, and also lots of parking availabilities nearby (as the street turns into a pedestrian street in the evenings, so no cars allowed there at that time). Wonderful staff as well, super friendly and helps you out if you need anything. Breakfast was also really good, and rooms were also super clean. Thumbs up and definitely recommendable!😊

The hotel was amazing. The service, location ,and the rooms are perfect. Very courteous staff, clean and cosy rooms, beautiful hall. We would also get suggestions which beach to go to and try additional amenities. Overall, highly recommended.

Great hotel, very friendly host and great location. Nice and cozy room, which was cleaned every day. We had an option to chose what we want for breakfast from the list, which is a nice alternative for a buffet. The only small problem is parking, however we have been given clear instructions by the host where we can find some parking space on the street nearby and never had any problems. I would highly recommend this B&B in Villasimius for everyone.

First you arrived and the staff take care of your bags and tell you that they upgrade you ! Perfect ! Then the weather goes bad and during the night a wall start to be humid, you don't even notice as you are not really awake. But at the end of your magnificent breakfast, the staff tell you what happen and give another great room ! Perfect ! And then no water in all the city for two days ! The staff gives you news of what is going on and water... And even a discount ! All the hotel is decorated with taste and harmony. Breakfast is tasteful. Management is helpful within the hotel but also for what to do and reservation outside. Their heart is inside the hotel and you can feel it ! So event with all this misadventure our vacations were perfect ! Thank you.

Great hotel in a central location. The entrance area in particular is very nice. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. Great hotel with amazing host Simone, very conveniently located in the center of Villasimius. Simone was extremely kind and took good care of us throughout our stay. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of various options. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is nearby all the restaurants and shops. The hotel is built around a central courtyard which gives it a very pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are a good size, the bed was comfortable, the toilet facilities were good and the room was clean. Breakfast was taken in the central courtyard and was really excellent. The staff were friendly and really helpful. They welcomed visitors and made everyone welcome. The hotel is only a couple of minutes from the centre of the town so it is well placed for joining in with the vibrant street life in the town. Absolutely loved our stay and was sad to leave. All of the staff are so friendly and courteous. True Italian hospitality. The hotel itself is located on the main street and is a pedestrian walking street at night making it very easy to reach all resteraunts and shops by foot. If you have a car you can park in front of the hotel but you have to pay and when the street is closed at night for pedestrians you wont have access to your car. I did see people getting tickets, this area is highly monitored by traffic enforcement. There is also an easy option to park 5 min walk away for free and the staff will give you a map so you know how to get there. It was a safe parking area beside the police station. The room was nicely designed and VERY clean!!! You can drive to so many top class beaches near by... great vacation spot.

This is a beautiful , clean, friendly hotel , very close to the center. The owners pay attention to every little details in the decoration and design, from the colors of the pillows till the amazing plants. Our cozy room was clean, quiet, with a confy bed. The cleaning ladies, kitchen staff and the girls at the front desk were so smiley, friendly , very helpful. The breakfast was simple but good enough, we always were full, and almost couldn’t go back to the room :) Try this place if you come to Villasimius!

Location: Villasimius is a perfect location to explore the surrounding beaches, hikes - and even a trip to Cagliari. The hotel in the village is close enough to the main street, restaurants, shops, the saturday market etc - all in walking distance Hotel: The building is an open complex with an inner yard that serves as outdoor breakfast room - but also connects to an indoor breakfast room. Nicely decorated. The room: Very big! Clean! Wonderful big balcony The breakfast: One selects upon arrival a set of wishes (croissant, ham/cheese/eggs, cakes etc) and then there is also a buffet with yoghurt, bread, cereals, milk, juices and water. The staff: Very friendly! The price: We were shoulder-season there (Oct) which gives a lower price (~80 Euro/night). Then it was a good deal. With a higher price I am not sure The bed was two beds moved together - which you can always feel. Besides the mattresses were a bit uncomfortable. Though the room and the balcony were very big - it does not bring enough fresh air in - unless the window is slide open - but then there is noise starting around 7am (at least in off-season).
Eric B — Google review
Staff was very nice and friendly. Room clean. What is annoying is the process around breakfast-you arrive tired and you are asked to complete a form (in Italien language!) to select what you want next day for breakfast. And it is not clear if you opt for one piece or portion for one person (outcome: when you write 1 ham-you will get literarly 1 slice of ham). I can see the point around not wasting food but the price for accommodation is at level where you would not expect such limitations. This process is odd/not standard. Plus price should be fully clear when making booking (taxes included).

We stopped off at Villasimius while traveling around Sardinia. How lucky we were to find this delightful hotel. Even from the outside it looked charming and clean and very welcoming which was surprising considering we were on a budget. We were greeted by Elena, who simply couldn't have been more welcoming, offering useful advice and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Elena ❤️ The room, while basic, had everything we needed, was super clean, had an awesome shower and a perfect balcony too 👌 Unfortunately as we were out of season the hot tub was closed but as we were only there one night this didn't bother us! All in all a lovely base if you plan on exploring this part of Sardinia.

We have just returned from a week at Hotel Mariposas - the hotel gardens and pool area are exceptionally lovely – full of flowers and beautifully maintained. We had a superior double room, which had its own terrace looking out over the gardens and pool – the room was immaculate, comfortable and stylish. We ate lunch most days at the hotel – delicious highly recommended. Breakfast is included and had a good buffet selection to choose from. There is a bar open until about 11pm for drinks but no dinner served. Not a problem as Villasimius about 15 mins walk away has lots of restaurants. Staff were so lovely, helpful and professional without exception – overall the hotel is well run with a focus on a calm relaxing environment. The hotel is a short walk from Simius beach, which is a marine protection area so great for snorkelling with its crystal-clear waters and white sand – can book daily sunbeds + umbrella through the hotel for a reasonable price. We flew into Cagliari and then got a taxi to the hotel – about 60 min drive. We didn’t need a car as happy to spend time relaxing at the hotel and Simius beach. It’s our second stay at Hotel Mariposas and hope to return.

(Translated by Google) Review of June 16, 2025 Holiday from 31/05 to 06/06 2025 for two. We chose this property because we were looking for a place that was not crowded and surrounded by greenery. There are only 9 rooms distributed over 3 levels between the garden where you have dinner, the breakfast floor and the first floor. Furnished in a very simple way but at the same time very comfortable and very clean. Breathtaking view directly on the white sandy beach of Campulongu. The main staff is mainly made up of 3 people. In the high season they become 4. Paolo for reception, logistics and organization, Mario the chef, Federica who follows the breakfasts, lunches and dinners. As they say: few but good, with the gift of hospitality and welcome they allowed the holiday to always continue at its best. As between friends. Access to the beach is direct through a very nice private path. You have sunbeds, umbrella and beach towel included in the price. For lunch you can conveniently order with a whatsapp indicating your arrival time. Dinner is in the garden with a breathtaking view at sunset and soft background music. The cuisine is excellent: from breakfasts with cakes baked every day, abundant but light salads, dinners with tasty, well-prepared and typical Sardinian dishes. Excellent choice of wines recommended by Federica. What can I say except thank you from the bottom of my heart for the beautiful moments you have allowed us to spend. Alessandra e Paolo

We had already had the pleasure of staying last year on a bed and breakfast basis, and this year we stayed for two days as well. Very friendly staff, and the rooms and spaces were excellently clean. The loungers on the beach and in the surrounding area were very comfortable. Attention to detail. Highly recommended. Ideal for those seeking relaxation. Thanks to Federica, Diana, and Paolo, always smiling and professional. But the real star was Mario, the chef. We enjoyed truly delicious dishes, different every day and always up to expectations. The rooms were clean and welcoming. The atmosphere was familiar but refined. We will definitely be back. Just spent 8 nights here. Beautiful hotel. It was everything we wanted for our holiday. The staff are lovely, the restaurant is fantastic and the charming David helped us with our choices. We stayed in the main hotel, the room had everything we needed, it was very comfortable. Can honestly say there was not one thing we could take issue with. The gardens are clearly a labour of love, beautiful! constantly being manicured. As was the whole hotel, Pool was perfect for a lazy day. You will need a mode of transport to discover the incredible beaches nearby. We can thoroughly recommend this Hotel and we hope to return.

This is for the restaurant only. The bream fish was delicious. The grounds were pretty and refreshing after a hot morning at the beach. BUT… the bread was really disappointing; the side of grilled vegetables was two thin slices of zucchini and three thin slices of eggplant; the amount of jam that came with the six slices of cheese (appetizer) was less than a tablespoonful; the waiters kept repeatedly coming back to take the plates away; the manager was “pleasantly”condescending 🙄. And the sign on the street was misleading. There is no market.

Family vacation was a success in this hotel, room was very clean, good size, beautiful garden and pool! Breakfast was basic as usual in Italy but very-good, fresh fruit, toast, cold cuts and cheese, delicious coffee and croissants. The service from breakfast was flawless, super nice people! The pool boy was a little bit exaggerated, too strict not letting kids be kids which was personally frustrating. Location is perfect, 10 minutes to the beach, 5 to city center, 3 minutes to shops. Beautiful views to the mountains.

Absolutely LOVED this hotel! The food was amazing, the location perfect, and the attentiveness of staff is excellent, which really made our stay that much better. Hotel: Beautiful hotel, authentic to Sardinia, with a lovely swimming pool, great shower and extremely clean facilities! Location: Close to nightlife, bars, clubs, local town, beaches and other things to do. Food: During our stay in Sardinia we ate at 3 Michelin Guide restaurants, and the hotel's restaurant was not only the best in the area, but better than 2 of the Michelin recommended restaurants! The food was delicious and was prepared excellently, using sustainable fishing methods and locally sourced ingredients. I'd highly recommend this hotel for family, friends, couples, business or just a lunch or evening meal.

We stayed at the end of May in the rooms by the pool as a family with one small kid. The room was perfect, big, clean and with direct access to the pool. The pool was great, was cleaned every day and the whole surrounding was perfectly kept with palm trees and other plants. The service was very friendly and the breakfast was very good. The location is great to reach all the nice beaches in the area. We were very happy with our stay.

Extraordinary hotel for its price in Villasimius. Comfy rooms with pleasant beds. Great breakfasts (for a typical Italian place) - ham, cheese, different types of breads, crossaints, fresh fruits, yoghurt, cakes. You can order drinks at the bar. When we had a problem with air conditioning owner helped us and made it working. It's in 10 minutes of drive to all important beaches in Villasimius. We did borrow umbrellas from the hotel. But at the end we spent half of day at the local pool, where you have a view on mountains. I would come back here once again, if I were visiting Villasimius.

Very nice 3 star hotel! The little bungalows are new and have a very nice terrace and view. The pool area is made up with hundreds of different flowers and looks so beautiful! The grass is always perfect and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant that belongs to the hotel offers high quality delicious dishes! So the food is more expensiv than in usual 3 star hotels but the food is really 5 star worthy! Perfect fish, mussels and steak. Definetely a place to recommend!

Me and my wife had a wonderful stay there in October 2021. The rooms are very nice, spacy and clean. The hotel owner very polite and helpful in any matter. The hotel itself has a perfect location because of the close proximity to the beach and for us this region is in any case one of the most beautiful places on Sardinia. Only one aspect may cause a minus point - breakfast - since there is no fresh bread and many things come from plastic bags. But, get yourself some fresh bread somewhere else and enjoy your stay in this location!

Beaches
Spiaggia di Porto Sa Ruxi is a stunning bay located between Capo Boi and Campus Beach, featuring three small beaches with fine white sand and protected by low rocks. The beach is framed by fascinating cliffs, providing shelter from the mistral wind. It is surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and offers shallow turquoise waters perfect for swimming.
Among the beaches of Villasimius this is the one I personally preferred, it is made up of three small coves, the sand and water are excellent. Reservations are recommended but not required, at 9am on a weekday there were no problems getting in. Car parking costs €10 per day but with the same ticket you can park at all the other beaches in the municipality but not in the urban parkings of the village. If you move to Punta Molentis beach you have to pay an extra 1€ per person, but this beach in its sandy part is smaller, however in low season on weekdays it is possible to access it without reservation.
Fabio R — Google review
Beautiful sandy beach, but with a lot of seaweed. There were waves. It was not crowded, parking 12 €/day.
Đorđe G — Google review
Loved this place. Parking if come early is available right in the bottom. 12€ per day. Great view from the top and stunning on the beach itself. Was a bit windy which made sun bathing a bit tricky but the rest was amazing. On the entrance to parking we were asked if we have a reservation but we hadn’t. It was around 8:30 in the morning and we were able to get in no problem.
Anna M — Google review
Beautiful beach among the best in Villasimius. Three small sandy coves with shallow turquoise water. Parking is 10 Euros a day, and there's limited availability, though.
Jennifer C — Google review
Absolutely incredible beach. Perfect for families with small children given the shallow water areas. Staff at the private beach are also great. I would suggest the private beach since they have lifeguards on duty and watch carefully for children and watercraft. Reserve a gazebo if you want to feel like royalty without the royal cost. Get there early for parking though or you'll have a slight hike getting to the beach.
Darius M — Google review
Beautiful location, not crowded, we parked on the street as they told us that the parking was full. Windy on the day we visited the beach. Good restaurant.

It was a cozy beautiful beach with a very clean and wonderful water! Its not that big but there 2-3 beaches are next to each other where you can chose to sit down and enjoy the view /water! Its 14 min drive from Villasimius, its better to book before going there cause usually it’s not that easy to find available spots !

Spiaggia di Is Traias is a stunning bay with a unique semicircular shape, spanning 150 meters in length and 25 meters in width. The beach is adorned with fine white sand and flanked by beautiful reefs at its ends. The shallow waters make it an ideal spot for families with children. The surrounding Mediterranean vegetation adds to the picturesque setting, shaped by the coastal winds.
My favorite beach, and the best beach bar as well.
Bennett R — Google review
Wonderfully quiet beach. Plenty of space and free parking nearby. Also a bar. As several other reviews note however, there is plenty of algae washed up. Access to water is still ok though, the main downside of the algae is a slight wiff of sulphur rotten egg. It was windy when i was here, maybe the smell is stronger in calmer conditions. On very windy days of maestrale the east coast allows you to escape.

La Corte Rosada is a charming hotel located just a short distance from the center of Villasimius and the stunning beaches of Sardinia's southeastern coast. The modern property offers 10 well-maintained suites, a warm restaurant, and a peaceful courtyard surrounded by greenery. Managed with great care by Alessandra and her attentive staff, guests are welcomed with kindness and provided with all the necessary information for their stay.
Beautiful and quite setting very close to the town. The property is gorgeous and well taken care of. The apartments are spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is generous and offers a great selection while sitting in a nice outdoor terrace/garden or indoors. The host is wonderful and communicates quickly and provides great insights and information. Definitely would come back.

Beautiful place , beautiful hotel, beautiful garden with perfect staff , best owner Alessandra was really helpfully and always smiling and positive. This place is very romantic 😍 for couples and lovers. Breakfast was full of food , fresh fruits , yoghurts, hams, cheeses, sweets, salties, a lot of others . From 5 location in Sardegna this was the best ! Rooms are very nice, comfortable and huge. Everything is perfectly clean. Rooms service is working daily. Hotel is very quite situated in the end of the road , in the middle of the nature . We were really satisfied all our stay. And I wish all the best for Alessandra. Final review is 11/10* better than best !

I loved the garden, and the staff were really kind and helpful. Breakfast was nice. One of the heaters in our room wasn’t working well. The furniture was quite old, but the cleaning was fine. I think the bath towels had a bit of a smell.

Clean rooms, beautiful garden/surroundings, nice breakfast, amazing beaches nearby- just a lovely place overall! Most of all, Alessandra was so kind and helpful during our stay! We would love to come back and can only recommend the place.

Favourite accommodation during our 5 days stay in Sardinia. Staff were so accommodating and friendly, helping us make dinner reservations and other activities. The rooms were spacious, the grounds were so beautiful it was a delight to have breakfast there each morning outside. I loved the jazz music in the morning. Highly recommend and can't wait to return on my next trip!

We spent a week during july 2025 in this small but beautiful hotel in Villasimius. It is not in the downtown but very conveniently located at 5 minutes by car which is advisable if anybody wants to know the excellent beaches in this southeastern part of Sardinia. The duplex suite was a bit simple but well appointed and clean with strong air conditioners in both ambiances. Alessandra was a very nice and attentive hostess. The Italian breakfast was good as expected with excellent coffee, and she is very strict on replacing any item just after it is taken from any guest. For sure we will come back in the near future.

The beautiful, secluded Spiaggia Is Piscadeddus is a great place to relax and enjoy the stunning crystal clear waters and shallow shore. The park has free parking with a mobile truck-kiosk for fast refreshments/sandwiches, which makes it ideal for small groups or couples looking for a relaxing getaway.
Very nice beach in Villasimius! Super clean water, sandy beach. Crystal clear 🩵 It is also protective from the wind because even though the weather was windy and it was silenced at the beach. So on a windy day, it can save the day! It is less known than others in the town, and I think it makes it better since it is not crowded at all. 10 min away (walking) from the bus stop “capo boi”, if you are coming buy bus. The line 101 from ARST come here. I attach the return hours. We took the bus from the Cagliari bus station, and the bus tickets can be directly bought from there. Keep in mind that there are no places to buy water/food or anything. So you have to come prepared but it makes it a secluded place. I came here with my family on a wednesday on the last week of May and there were only 4-5 groups. So it is way better than the busy beaches. Very calm and peaceful. Recommended!

Beautiful natural beach, 10 people max. on a nice sunny day, an absolute must if you’re in the area and like beautiful, untouched nature and cristal clear water. It felt like an adventure getting there, but the view itself is worth it! Tips: bring some food (nothing around), a sun umbrella and a snorkelling mask!

Beautiful sandy beach, clear water, not many people. No amenities and a bit of a difficult path from the parking though.

This beach was awesome!! Free parking on the side of the road and you need to walk down a bit of a path to get down to the beach. This means it's not that busy when other beaches are very busy. The water is beautiful and there's sand instead of rocks if that's your thing

Pullman Timi Ama is a stunning and unique beach located between Campus and Porto Giunco in Villasimius. The landscape is characterized by mountains in the background, calm waters of the Notteri pond on the left, and vibrant Mediterranean vegetation adorning the dunes. Families with young children are drawn to this beach due to its shallow waters.
The resort is big and well equipped. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room is spacious, breakfast has wide choices, food at the restaurants is delicious, pool is nice, service is good and the beach is AMAZING! The water is crystal clear! The beach is actually just less than 10-min-walk, but the hotel arranges frequent shuttle, which is ideal for lazy people like us 😂 The Spa is also very lovely, we especially like the circle flow at the salty warm pool. My husband and I had a wonderful 8-day-holiday there.

Five star hotel that has a lot to offer. Starting with professional staff, continues with very comfortable rooms, especially beds, large swimming pool area, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island and delicious cuisine. And so much more. The area also offers many interesting places to see, so I can only recommend it for a perfect vacation.

(Not sure why this place doesn’t show the name Dolphin club as it is where the pin on the map is, but anyway) First day we came here we were a bit overwhelmed by the prices (€55 for 2ppl/day) but it was so worth it that we came back the next day too. Super comfortable sun beds and probably the biggest parasols in entire Villasimius. Possible to pay by card for sun beds and at the cafe. You also get access to a toilet by the beach (leaving either €20 in cash or your ID). Felt safe leaving our belongings on our sun beds while swimming in paradise ☀️

Resort hotel
The Sant'Elmo Beach Hotel offers its guests a relaxing stay while overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It is only 400 meters from the beach and has a restaurant that is dedicated to children. The hotel also has a pool and a playground for the kids.
For the second year in a row, we chose Sant'Elmo Beach Hotel for our family vacation, and all I can say is that we will go there again next year! If you need hundreds of meals as part of an all-inclusive package, with everything from Asian to American to European cuisine, plus a sterile and impersonal environment, definitely don't come here. But if you're looking for a perfectly authentic place, with wonderfully friendly and helpful staff and a selection of dishes that offer the best of Sardinia, Sant'Elmo Beach is the place to be! Right in the hotel grounds, there's a beautiful pool, and unlike other destinations, it's available at any time of the day, complete with loungers and umbrellas. Forget about reserving loungers with towels at 6 AM, that's not necessary here. And the beach? After a short walk, you arrive at a beach with fine sand, crystal clear water, and loungers reserved just for you. Moreover, the service on the beach is fantastic. For us, Sant'Elmo Beach Hotel is the best destination for a summer vacation, and we are very much looking forward to next summer.
Ondřej K — Google review
My family stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel is quite dated and basic, it might look bright and flowery from outside but the room in our bungalow was quite small and furniture definitely has seen better days. The pool is ok , enough sun loungers around. You can rent towels or bring your own. The beach is like 10 min walk through the field and unfortunately is covered in mountain of dry seaweed. There is a bar there so we only had a drink and went back. The food at the hotel was ok , not the big variety though. Staff in the dining room were very helpful and kind. Evening entertainment consisted of some live music and DJ after. There’s a kids evening entertainment too. Wi-fi in room isn’t working, very weak signal.
Laura Z — Google review
Had a great week in sant elmo! The location is absolutely stunning - the hotel beach is a 7min walk but once you get there, you have your reserved sun beds and can be fully at peace. You can reach other beautiful beaches within 30min walk. The hotel is a “relax” hotel which means they are not allowed to play any music at the beach which was a bit of a shame. We tried to book a boat trip with the service down at the beach but they just kept on cancelling it every day for whatever reason… The restaurant service and food was incredible. Lots of choice and variety over the week. We went end of June. Most of the visitors are Italian, families with young kids and their grandparents. The entertainment program targets that type of audience but it’s definitely entertaining enough for a week and the guys did an excellent job.
Bianca F — Google review
The beach is covered an algae. While the hotel does its best to remove the algae, they sit on a pile of 3-4m on the side. The remaining beach is entirely covered in algae.

When we were staying at this hotel in the past the food and service was ok but this year our experience was completely different -way better! This is all majorly thanks to Andrea who is a great professional and managed the staff in such orderly way that the food and the service at both breakfast, lunch as well as dinner was 5+ stars! Big thanks to Andrea not only for making this hotel so much better but also for his warm and friendly and caring approach to all guests!

The rooms are a bit outdated, but the service in general is good, everything clean, and the food is the best I have ever get in an all inclusive hotel. Great product quality and variety of the menu. After 1 week we didnt get repeated any meal. Personnel friendly,, except for one lady in the reception. Parking available, first come first serve, with some shadow areas. The a/c in the room is very good, very silent and you can regulate speed and temperature. Only flaw, the beach is a bit too far away, but gorgeous nevertheless, and with your own reserved umbrella during your stay. Very nice option for relaxing holidays. I would come back.

Great delicious various food, great entertainment, and personnel amazingly friendly and smiling.
Yulia B — Google review
Astounding vibe in and around and really kind staff are the foremost. The dishes are amazing and far more than enough. The early mornings are spectacular both in the garden and on the nearby wild beaches or on the hill. It has its own beach for a little walk with a bar, which is great. Although good to know a few things. The room we were in was outdated, squeaky bed and the bathroom was even cramped. There were so many mosquitos but no mosquito net. The tap water was repellent although there wasn't option to have all inclusive, so you have to choose between stinking tap water and mineral water at astronomical prices. Finally, besides some superb staff member (at the reception, among waiters and bar tenders) you can well find some who simply left you in the dark if you don't speak Italian (also at the reception, among waiters and bar tenders). So, go visit, but prepare with bottled water and mosquito repellents and you will love it!

A small but beautiful beach where the sea is colored turquoise and sky blue with patches of deep green algae and patches of rocks. On the left of the coast line the sandy beach continues into rocky boulders with a road towards an old structure and what appears to be an old tower.

If you are looking for white Sandy beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see, bordered by iridescent water, with a lagoon full of flamingoes thrown in, this is the place for you. We drove to the end of the dirt road, somewhat of a free for all parking situation, and walked directly on the beach. There are four clubs that will rent canopies and chairs and serve drinks. Bring some coins for the toilette. In high season, expect crowds, so show up early or wait in traffic.

Solanas is a popular beach located about 35 km from Cagliari, known for its appeal to surfers and spearfishing enthusiasts. The 1.2 km long beach features white coarse-grained sand and lush vegetation, offering facilities such as beach resorts, bars, restaurants, car parking, and wheelchair access. Visitors can rent beach loungers and umbrellas for added comfort. The eastern part of the beach towards Porto Sa Ruxi is considered the most natural and picturesque.
One of my favorite beaches for chilling out. Nice sand and the water was awesome. Nice and tranquil. The waves are chill also. You can take the whole family here. Bring your SUP board and you can do it till you tire out. Been here many times and never thought of writing a review, but people want to know. We were here on my first trip to Uruguay in March of 2023 and were back now December 2024. So parking can be a little tight but you’ll always find a spot. The sunsets are to die for. The sun we see it everyday most days and take it for granted and you’ll know what I mean when you see a sun set on Solanas beach. Enjoy!

Wonderful beach 30 minutes drive or 1 hour by bus from Cagliari, well worth the trip! The water is calmer and clearer than Poetto beach in the city. Easily one of the best beaches I have visited, and i've been to alot of beaches in Europe, Latin America and Asia. There are three operators of "beach service" that rent chairs/parasols for 20-25€ (as well as drinks, snacks and light meals) and you can call and book in advance, not really necessary on weekdays but on weekends it can get busy. There is also plenty of space of you just want to bring your own stuff and not use the beach service. We used the Tabnet app to buy tickets for the bus, be aware that the bus tops are not marked out very well or even obvious, if you are coming from Cagliari you get off just as the bus gets down the hill and enters the village. When you are going back you have to do so at "bar Barbara" a restaurant/supermarket in the northwest part of the village.

A hidden gem near Villasimius. In mid September the parking was free and easy to find around midday. The sands are smooth, beach is clean and water as blue as the sky. It does get deep relatively quickly but otherwise a perfect beach to get away from the crowds at some more famous beaches at villasimius.
Felix C — Google review
We loved this beach. It's a bit busy and 45 minutes from Cagliari, but it is clean and the water very clear.
A C — Google review
What a pleasant beach this one is. The sea is crystal clear and turquoise, this beach is well suited to families, couples or those who want to just stroll along the Beech. The sand is fine and grainy, the water temperature (late September 2023) is perfect, the water is so clear you can see schools of fish beneath your feet in the sea and the odd baby jelly fish. The wind can pick up here as it’s not as protected as other coves, so make sure if you bring a parasol to dig in quite deep to anchor it, there is a beach club here that we decided to stay on that charged €30 of two loungers on the front row, which we felt was okay, we didn’t order food as we brought our own. Parking was easy, free with plenty of spaces.

The iH Hotels Villasimius Le Zagare Resort is a charming country hotel located on the south-eastern coast of Sardinia. It offers a relaxed atmosphere with beautiful gardens, an outdoor pool, and a playground for guests to enjoy. The resort also provides dining options and a bar for convenience.
Rooms are served with a scenic balcony or patio, clean and very well served with all amenities. Continental breakfast was very good too. We changed 5 stays during our stay in Sardegna, this was by far the best for it's location, room and, reception service. Will surely look for this chain of companies when traveling

The grounds were very picturesque, was nice being surrounded by fruit trees, flowers, well maintained gardens to wander around, wonderful mountains in the backdrop of the nice large pool and attractive al fresco area. Stayed in the chalet-style room, they were very spacious as more suited for groups and families so it was nice to have extra space with large bathroom and balcony, the shower cubicle could be bigger though. The beach shuttle and children's playground was nice to have. The staff at reception were helpful and the evening music entertainment was pleasant. I don’t agree with the mandatory 10 Euros a day per person. This fee apparently covers costs for pool, beach shuttle service with sunbeds/umbrella on the beach, exercise machines which was a very small and underwhelming area with only 2 machines. I think it is unfair to make this a compulsory charge when some people wouldn't use all these facilities everyday. The hotel was already very expensive at £1620 for two rooms and just 4 nights so why should we pay more for these facilities which are already part of the hotel? As a supposedly 4 star hotel all these things should be included at no extra charge. Also, the restaurant was underwhelming for breakfast and lunch therefore didn’t want to try the dinner buffet and the town centre is a few minutes drive anyway with plenty restaurants. Please note there is no kettle in the room, there is a mini fridge to store your own refreshments. The rooms don’t have good sound proofing so can hear doors slamming etc and could do with some uplifting decor.

Very nice Hotel! The rooms aren't astonishing but nice. And they are clean! The hotel yard is also quite beautiful! The Staff is very friendly!👍 If you plan to go with only english knowledge and no italian, ordering food might be complicated, but it works! By the way the food is great! A lot of sea food but also a lot of other food. The pool looks nice but you have to wear a swim hat and it costs extra. That is a bit sad. The beach is beautiful aswell but a little bit far away. It is possible to walk there within 10-15 minutes. But there is a shuttle to the beach and back every half hour. What is a bit strange, is that you have to pay 30 euros for two sunbeds and one parasol, for one day. There is a kiosk at the hotel beach that offers beer and fizzy drinks aswell as water and some food. To get to the village have to take the public bus (bus stop is just 2 minutes from the hotel) or you if you have a rental car, go by car. There are two restaurants close to the hotel. One is right next to the bus stop and one is about 10-15 walk-minutes away. Both offer good food and good prices! We only had the problem, that the staff of these restaurants didn't speak english as good aswell. All in all we had a great week in the hotel!

Rooms are basic but clean. No coffee making facilities, mini bar has water, and u can also add anything else u may want via reception or for personal use. The hotel itself is pleasant, reception was helpful also to note the booking as a couple e had to pay an additional eur 56 for tax and service charge of the hotel ie beach towel, beach entrance etc. Just take note that this is an additional cost that u have to pay at the hotel apart from the booking itself. Overall would return. Parking facility available for free a few meters away.

Good accommodation, varied breakfast. The swimming pool was only opened from 10 to 1 AM and from 3 until 7 PM. Unfortunately, we did not have access to the swimming pool beacause we didn't have bathing cap. The staff doesn't speak english well, which was complicated to communicate and know every infrastructures of the hotel. Therefore, we only could go the private beach by shuttle.

It was the worst hotel during our 2 weeks stay in Sardegna. The main reson of it, is lack of information about staying there, and weak personel. When we came we did not have aby information about working hours of reception and how hot water works in room. It sounds funny, but there is a button which looks like lights button and nobody told us that this is button for hot water. We had to take cold shower what is unbelievable in 3 star hotel in Europe. The best was behaviour of Roberta and Noura from reception. Receptionist (Noura) didn't know what to do, but Roberta was cery nervous and impolite. This is not acceptable - she should not work with customers in aby hotel. We are disappointed.

It's probably the worst room I've ever stayed in. They jammed 5 of us in one tiny room, that smelt bad, one bathroom that just smelt mouldy, kitchen full of ants. Place is dirty, and they should be ashamed of what they charge and how they promote themselves. Don't be fooled by the photos as it's nothing like that. Location is the only thing it has going for it. Otherwise, due to massive upgrades and they should promote, they are 3 star resort. 1 Star at best.

I booked two studios for a 6-night stay, asking them to be next to each other as our two girls would stay in one. We were given nearby studios, but ours faced the back. No problem, it would have been great if there had been no heavy renovations in the one next to us that lasted for 4 days. As if that were not enough, the area adjacent to the studio directly overlooks the area they use for maintenance (including the use of a power saw on a sunday morning). I went to front desk asking if there was a possibility to move and I was told yes, the following day there would have been several check outs. So the next morning we left the bags ready to move, but to my surprise we are told that unfortunately there would also have been other check ins, so it we couldn't move. At that point, a lady came out of the office (manager?) and confirmed the same, adding, in a tone that translated into little patience for unhappy customers, that all the work is done to improve the structure. In mid-July??? fully booked??With a customer complaining, it would have been easy to move us and assign the studio to a new check in. Obviously, all heavy maintenance was completed on the day of our departure. Non-existent and rude guest service - we would have been happy with anyone had approached to apologize or ask us how it was in the 6 days of stay, maybe offer us a coffee, anything really. My only memory is the photos I attach, see for yourselves.

Cala Porto Giunco is a small, dazzling cove located near the larger beaches of Spiaggia di Capo Carbonara and Spiaggia di Porto Giunco. It offers great shore snorkeling, with companies in Villasimius offering boat tours to reach nearby attractions like the Madonna del Naufrago sculpture near Isola dei Cavoli. Although it can get crowded, the beach's clear waters and white sand make it a dreamy spot for swimming and snorkeling.
Beautiful but nothing spectacular in my opinion, it’s just a beach, yes to have such a place in Europe it’s nice but to be comparable to the Caribbean it has to be more than just a beach, also in spring the water is too cold to swim.

Top beach 🏝… little to many people now … but still ok … parking 5€ … longer walk and not easy to go there … 250m walk … better no Flipflops… beach is a dream … water amazing… also good for snorkelling 🤿

Want to enjoy a really special ‘spiaggia’? Go to Spiaggia Torre Porto Giunco, but come here as early as possible. Otherwise there isn’t space available anymore and you have to get back to the big crowded beach. Thereby, the big beach is loaded with lots of kelp, bluh. This little beach is reachable quite easily but be aware of the slippery rocks. Snorkeling is fun here as well. Ciao!

Porto Luna Beach lives up to its name with the enchanting sight of moonlight reflecting on the sea. This small, almost private beach is adorned with protected algae, creating a cozy resting spot. Frequented mostly by locals, it offers a small yet delightful retreat for visitors seeking a tranquil and picturesque coastal experience.
A small slice of paradise. It was very nice and quiet, not many people at all, the location seemed to be sheltered from the wind
Elizabeth D — Google review
Visited in July and found the beach empty. The sea was a bit choppy and was full of posidonia that was forming dark embankments on the beach. The beach itself is quite small and narrow, with steep rock at the back. We left and went to neighbouring Spiaggia di Is Traias instead. From photos others have posted previously it looks like it can be lovely if the sea conditions are better.

Hotel Domu Simius is a charming 3-star hotel located in Villasimius, offering easy access to the town center and the beautiful beaches in the area. The hotel provides free Wi-Fi, airport shuttle service for a fee, and room service. Guests can also enjoy spa facilities including massages, steam baths, and face treatments. The hotel features air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms, a fitness center, garden, shared lounge, and terrace.
A gem of a hotel! We visited for one week from Ireland and couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. The location is perfect, the rooms nice and spacious and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It has to be said that the cleaning staff do a superb job every day freshening up the rooms, the balcony door was so clean my husband remarked how easy it would be to walk into it expecting it to be already open. The cleaning staff were also very friendly every morning whenever you passed them in the hotel. Would definitely return.

This is possibly the best hotel me and my family have stayed at over our years of traveling. The room we stayed in (deluxe family room) had a phenomenal view, new furniture, and was the cleanest I've seen a hotel room be. Fact is, you could probably have mistaken it for a surgery room on the level of cleanliness. Furthermore, the staff were absolutely awesome. Super nice and friendly. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel so nothing to mention about it from our part. The best surprise from our view was the fact that the AC had been on before our arrival, thus, the entire apartment/room was cool. Could not recommend a hotel more than this. 11/10.

We had a very pleasant one-week stay. The accommodation is modern, spotlessly clean, and very quiet. We especially enjoyed the spacious terrace of our room. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent, and there is free parking available on the street right in front of the property. The location is excellent: the beach is about 1.5 km away, but supermarkets and restaurants are just around the corner and easy to reach on foot. Overall, highly recommended – we would definitely come back!
Yanez K — Google review
We stayed in the 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment with sea views. It was very clean and organized nicely. The reception provided beach towels and umbrella upon request. There is a grocery store around the corner which made getting snacks and drinks super easy. We enjoyed walking Via Del Mare in the evening and sampling some of the local cuisine. We had our own parking space at the hotel and enjoyed exploring Southern Sardinia from here. We would definitely come back!

We only stayed for one night, but it was a wonderful experience. The room was spotless — incredibly clean and well-maintained. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. Despite our late arrival due to a flight delay, the owners went above and beyond to make check-in smooth and stress-free. They provided detailed instructions and were super helpful throughout. We truly appreciated their kindness and professionalism. Highly recommended!

Stayed here with a big group of friends for my 40th birthday and the staff at Hotel Domu Simius did not disappoint. In fact, they went above and beyond to meet our every need, which wasn’t easy with a group with various needs. From getting locked out of our rooms, dealing with multiple +25kg luggages, and even having to drive my aunt to the airport (an hour away) at 6:45 am because her taxi didn’t show up, I felt extremely lucky to have chosen this hotel. It is SPOTLESS, I don’t think I’ve stayed at such a clean hotel, the beds are comfortable and rooms spacious with lovely balconies. I would absolutely return to this space when I come back to Villasimius.
Ana T — Google review
It was our 10th anniversary and we kindly informed the hotel while booking the room. We came to hotel 2 hours before for the check in, we just wanted to leave our luggage which they said we can, but they were super confused and we did not felt welcomed. We waited for them to find our room information and got super stressed as soon as we arrived about if our room was not available. They were having phone calls and so on. Finally they said that you can come 2 hours later. So it was not how we dreamed of for our 10th anniversary. We didn’t get anything special, at least they could offer water when we arrived. We thanked that we have room at least. The suit was clean and comfortable. But while sitting in the balcony, everyone can see you from other rooms, no proper privacy. We asked for an umbrella for the beach and they helped also the last day they gave us the umbrella for Cagliari, which was really nice. We wanted to check out, there were no questions about how was our stay, no goodbyes. Maybe we’ve expected too much from there. So we wish we can take back our time and choose another place where we feel welcomed and enjoy our anniversary…

Nestled at the entrance of Villasimius, Hotel Raffael is a charming retreat that perfectly blends comfort and convenience. Just a short stroll from the vibrant town center, shops, and the Archaeology Museum, this delightful hotel is also only about a mile away from stunning sandy beaches. Guests can enjoy rooms adorned in traditional Sardinian decor, each featuring its own balcony to soak in the serene garden views. The hotel's picturesque surroundings include lush flower gardens and a gazebo where you can unwind after exploring.
This is our second time stayed here. They are always clean, friendly. And walking distance to the city center. I highly recommended.
Tugba M — Google review
We stayed here for four nights based on the other reviews the hotel has. The hotel location is perfect, right at the start of the main strip in Villasimus and within waking distance of everything you need, supermarkets, restaurants, bars etc. There is plenty of onsite parking and the service of the desk staff is great. The breakfast hosts were absolutely amazing, five star service, always remembering my coffee order each and every day without fail and very attentive. Breakfast is fine and plenty of choice for everyone. The hotel provides a fridge and freezer that allowed us to have cool drinks for each day and to freeze our ice packs for our cooler box. They also provided free umbrellas and beach towels. The rooms are very clean and spacious, although I struggle with the hard and flat pillows. The only negative is the walls are paper thin. We had very noisy neighbours that were up till very late (after 11pm) and was difficult for me and my children to sleep until they went quiet. There was constant banging on the walls and loud shouting. I'd recommend to stay here whilst in Villasimus.

We went in August during high season so everything was a bit pricey, but we were more than happy with this hotel! All the staff was super friendly and helpful, by the third day the ladies at breakfast already knew our coffee order and when we walked in the room they would have it ready for us. How nice! The hotel borrowed us everything we needed for the beach, including towels and the beach umbrella. Our room had a fridge, a big shower and we loved the terrace with the view. The location couldn't be more perfect! A 5-15 minutes driving distance from any beach and 3 minutes walking to the city center. We grabbed a pizza or some food to eat in the hotel garden a few nights, to skip the overcrowded dinners in the restaurants. Only thing I would say is the rooms have thin walls so it might bother you if you are a light sleeper, also I found the mattress a bit hard for my liking but my partner didn't mind it so I guess it's personal preference really. I would definitely go back to Hotel Rafael one day.

Me and my husband booked this place in a last moment for one night stay. Top customer service, rooms very clean with a good setup, with balcony, bathrooms nicely renovated, amazing patio for the breakfast included quality products, decent amount of parking. Our room was next to reception, yet very quiet. I totally recommend this place.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with wonderful staff! My partner and I stayed here for 8 nights. Particular highlights for us: - The balcony and its views were lovely - The garden was a great place to eat a takeaway pizza in the evening if you don’t fancy going to a restaurant - The hotel organised our transport from and to the airport. When our flight home was cancelled they quickly rearranged the airport transport for our new flight - The shuttle bus to the beach (€2 each way) is right on the doorstep of the hotel - The staff are really friendly I have long covid at the moment so I couldn’t do as much in Villasimius as I would have wanted. Assuming I get better we plan to come back to this same hotel and have another Sardinia holiday :)

Very well run family-owned hotel.. very clean and comfortable. The grounds are lovely - we just wished we could have had breakfast on the front patio, as it was so nice outside; instead we had breakfast in a downstairs room. Then it's just a 20-minute uphill and downhill walk to a beautiful rocky beach. We were able to admire a wide variety of fish while snorkeling. Important: Some of the rocks are very sharp - water shoes are recommended. When swimming along the shoreline or out a bit, be careful of strong currents! This can be dangerous, especially for inexperienced swimmers! We were there in mid/late July and were practically alone! Conclusion: Great beach with a wonderfully diverse fish population!

We are regulars in Villa Simius and when we discovered that the same developers behind Aras were working on a new project we were thrilled. Perdas is a true gem in the small paradise called Villa Simius. The building has been completely refurbished while preserving the original stones ("perdas" in Sardinian language); the rooms are functional but posh; the extras are a nice touch that you don't expect in a BnB. Sa Mirada Apartments are located in Villasimius, offering elegant and spacious 2-bedroom accommodations with fully equipped kitchenettes. The coast and its stunning beaches are just a short 15-minute walk away. Guests appreciate the attention to detail and thoughtful amenities, including an elevator for convenience and pet-friendly features. The apartments are described as clean, comfortable, and suitable for families or groups of up to six people.
Very nice Appartment, big enough for a family of six, most comfortable for 4-5. Big Terrasse, garden, and a livingroom worth living in if bad weather threatens. Two-floor design great for parents with smaller children looking for some quiet moments. Very polite hosts. Both main street and beach in walking distance. Overall a great holiday experience

This was our second stay at Casa #10. Soundproofing is a joke and we weren't so lucky with the neighbours this time. The daily morning grunts, furniture shoving, loud shouting and discussions during the returns from town around midnight, including running around in high heels, are exactly what turns your stay into a bag of frustration. Forget about sleeping with the window open. Bedrooms are not equipped with mosquito nets. In one of the bedrooms, the smell of an old church and a cute ant nest will make your stay more pleasant. The furnishings and the apartment itself show signs of wear and tear. The front door needs to be locked to keep it closed. The freezer door was already damaged 5 years ago. Wobbly dining table, dull knives and sharp pots. Network speed ~8 Mbps.

(Translated by Google) We stayed a week at this property in February. Very nice, nice and modern environment. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, the two bathrooms (complete with all services), the kitchen and the bedrooms (master bedroom and bedroom) were equipped with every comfort, something not to be taken for granted in other places. The gem of the apartment is the terrace with a view which can be accessed from the living room. The owner was very kind and available for any eventuality. We will definitely return to Villasimius! Torneremo sicuramente a Villasimius!
