Ice cream shop
Matsumoto Shave Ice is a must-visit local institution on the North Shore, known for its exotic flavors and creative combinations. Visitors often line up to savor the legendary shave ice, which can be found in Haleiwa. The affordable prices and refreshing taste make it a popular choice among tourists exploring the area's attractions like Hukilau Market and Polynesian Cultural Centre.
Matsumoto Shave Ice is a North Shore legend, and visiting their iconic Haleiwa location feels like stepping into a piece of Hawaiian history. The vibes are unbeatable—colorful, laid-back, and full of aloha spirit. As for the shave ice itself: super refreshing, light, and fluffy with a great selection of tropical flavors. Add-ons like mochi, ice cream, and condensed milk take it up a notch. That said, we’re giving it 4.5 stars for the shave ice alone—while it’s really good, we’ve had slightly finer textures elsewhere. Still, the experience, location, and friendly staff make the whole visit a 5-star moment overall. Definitely worth the drive and the hype!
Sardor A — Google review
This shaved ice place was recommended to us by a couple people. MATSUMOTO is quite sn impressive opperation. The long line moves fast and the price is 1/2 of my favorite shaved ice place, but the syrup on our strawbery and coconut had a chemical taste and neither resembled the flavors we requested. Also the ice wasnt as finely shreded as my favorite shaved ice place only a few miles south.
Ryan S — Google review
Sure, it’s a tourist must-do, but that doesn’t make it any less delicious or memorable. The ice is perfectly fluffy, the flavors are legit (not syrupy fake), and the variety of toppings is impressive. I went all-out and ordered the most expensive item on the menu...ice cream, azuki beans, mochi, condensed milk, you name it... and it still only set me back about seven bucks. In a state where "tourist pricing" is the norm, this place is shockingly fair. Friendly service, fast lines, and a treat that actually feels like Hawaii. Totally worth the stop, and a place I’d come back to again (and again). One of the few truly "iconic" spots that deserves the crowds. (See my photo for proof—this is what $7 gets you!)
Randall K — Google review
Wow this place gets PACKED! We ended up here after our last minute drive around the island. ATMOSPHERE: They're an old school grocery store that is known for their shave ice. Not SHAVED, just shave. You'll probably encounter a super long line at the entrance. Don't be alarmed, there's no natural disaster coming, it's the demand for their infamous Hawaiian dessert treat. SHAVE ICE: Grape My ultimate favorite flavor where ever I go. The ice is chunkier than say Ululani's, and that's how I like it. I opted for vanilla ice cream at the bottom because it makes it all that much better. I also got a squeeze of condensed milk on the top but I'm not a fan of it because it's too sweet for me. It comes in an easy to hold cup that also prevents a melting, drippy mess. SERVICE: When the line gets long, a worker comes through the line to take orders to try and speed up service. Everyone was friendly. OVERALL: This is the ultimate Hawaiian shave ice style, nice and chunky. No fine powder dust for me!
Maui T — Google review
We indulged today and tried this hidden treasure! The line moved swiftly and the shaved ice was good! Plenty of options to choose from. The service was super friendly and the atmosphere/ surrounding area was just what you think of when you think Hawaii!
David S — Google review
The shave ice is so refreshing and perfectly sweet, with flavors that really stand out—each bite is full of tropical goodness. I loved the chewy mochi pieces mixed in; they add a fun, satisfying texture that makes the treat even more enjoyable. It was also fun to eat right next to chicken, which adds to the classic local experience. The store itself is cute and charming, with that iconic Hawaii vibe that makes you feel like you’re really on island time.
Duyen — Google review
My first shave ice!! The line was long, but they get people through the line pretty quickly! I got a small with all of the toppings and did one flavor. A small is definitely enough from one person. So much depth and flavor to the shave ice since there are different layers to experience! This is known to be one of the best shave ice on the island and I totally see why. Delicious!
Christine E — Google review
This was my first time here, and I can tell it's a super popular spot with tourists. The line was pretty long when we got there. Luckily, they have pictures and QR codes for the menu, so you can figure out what you want before you order. They have tons of flavors and combos, and you can add extra toppings if you want. The shave ice was good, but heads up: the condensed milk makes it really sweet. Otherwise, it's a great place to grab a sweet treat. I'll totally go back next time I'm on the island.

Fine dining restaurant
Haleiwa Joe's is a laid-back, island-themed restaurant with two locations in Haleiwa and Kaneohe. The original spot opened in 1998 and has been serving up delicious seafood, including fish and shrimp, as well as land options like steak and ribs. The restaurant offers a variety of mouthwatering dishes such as Bone-in Prime Rib, Crunchy Coconut Shrimp, Chipotle Grilled Pork Chop, and Premium Grade Ahi Tuna.
So glad I ran into the manager walking his dog on the beach, this place is amazing! The food is delicious. Portions are great sized. The service is spectacular. Such a lovely restaurant. We will most definitely be going back very soon.

I had been to the Haiku Gardens the night before and enjoyed it so much I decided to try this location since I was on the North Shore. It was slightly disappointing. My coconut shrimp appetizer tasted mushy and off which was the opposite of the ones from the night before. The main I ordered was actually quite good it was the fried whole fish but not for the faint of heart as the bones were a little daunting. Sauce for the fish was ordered on the side which was nice as it kept the fish crispy. The most disappointing part was dessert, the chocolate mousse was not good at all, it was too soft and just tasted old. I felt a little ignored and the ambiance was lacking. Some hits and misses here.
J H — Google review
From the hostess to the bartender to our waiter … our dinner experience was wonderful! The food was absolutely delicious - there wasn’t a single bite left on any of the plates! We ordered the ahi tuna spring rolls (would totally drive the hour and a half for these again tonight, SO GOOD!) and for our entrees we ordered the grilled fish (which was blue marlin) and the sticky ribs. Absolutely delicious and the perfect choices for surf + turf! Even the starter bread … so warm and soft. I also had two of the spicy cucumber margaritas … so yummy. This was definitely our favorite meal while in Oahu! Thank you, Haleiwa Joes!
Bella G — Google review
Eric our server was the best. It's servers like him that make the hospitality of the experience we had memorable. He knew the menu like the back of his hand and gave everything a truly spectacular description. The staff brought everything out at the same time - Amazing team work. Was not expecting that 5 Star Level of service and it matched the level of flavor of the entrees served. If I could give Eric and crew 10 stars I would.
Attilio L — Google review
This is one of my favorite spots on Oahu. They offer a variety of delicious dishes. I'm not usually a fan of clams, but when they're mixed with curry and coconut milk, I'm all in. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, offering great recommendations. Plus, the ambiance is perfect, overlooking stunning views of the North Shore's coastline, making the dining experience even more memorable.
R B — Google review
Came here on our treat yo self night and didn't regret it. The service was great and helped nail down some good entrees. I ended up going with the grilled fish and ended up with a completely clean plate. The cocktails were fantastic

Top tier tuna and kalua pig. Tuna was so fresh. Best spot we’ve had food at since we got to Hawaii. Location is beautiful. Servers all friendly. Highly recommend.

Caught dinner and sunset after an afternoon hike at Waimea Falls. A short wait, maybe 10 minutes landed us a great table out on the patio with an excellent view of the upcoming sunset. We started with a shared spicy poke appetizer (so fresh & delicious) and followed by salads. Everything was really fresh and well seasoned. And service was outstanding. Attentive but not overbearing. I can definitely see why this place is busy, it’s very good. And the location can’t be beat!

One Ocean Diving is a conservation company that offers thrilling and educational shark diving tours from Haleiwa Harbor. The company aims to debunk myths about sharks and educate participants about their behavior and different species. Participants have the opportunity to swim in the open ocean with these fascinating creatures. The experience is described as both awe-inspiring and informative, providing an unforgettable adventure. Visitors praise the knowledgeable and passionate crew who prioritize safety while sharing their expertise about sharks.
I can't stop telling everyone about all the fun I had with One Ocean Diving on the North Shore of Oahu! Initially, I was very hesitant to book this free dive with sharks. I wasn't sure if I would enjoy facing my fears and pushing myself outside of my comfort zone. However, I am so glad I did because this was my favorite thing that I did during my time in Hawaii. If you are having any reservations about booking this experience, let me put your mind at ease. Please go. I promise you will not regret it! Our guides Tyler and Drew were friendly, professional, and prioritized our safety in the water above anything else. While I was swimming with the sharks, I never felt like I was in danger. I had an absolute blast diving into their world and observing their inherently peaceful and curious behavior. Plus, we got up close and personal with SO many tiger sharks!! I could not have asked for a more magical day. We've all been taught that sharks are mindless killers, but this could not be further from the truth. I hope to come back again, but I also know that these memories will last a lifetime. ❤️ 🦈

What an amazing experience! I love sharks and love snorkeling. From booking the trip, to their responsiveness via text, check-in all seamless. Gina and Kaitlyn our safety divers, were passionate and informative and helped to make a relaxed but fun boat ride out to the dive spot. In the water you can tell they take their job seriously, not only keeping everyone safe but prioritizing the shark’s safety, comfort and wellbeing. I am definitely booking again. The 7am tour made it so the water was calm and smooth. The blue of the water and visibility was unreal. The stars of the show were the 2 Tiger sharks we saw and the dozens of Galapagos sharks. Thank you so much!

Best trip ever! Seeing the tiger sharks was just the icing on the cake! Our crew was Captain Liko, Faith, Marcus and Kaitlyn. They were great. I enjoyed the education prior to getting in the water! We got to see a ton of sharks and even got to dive close to some of them! So cool! Best experience and once in a lifetime! Would highly recommend this group! Side note: they offer skid shirts and go pro handles should you need them! This is included. They can also get photos of you but you need to request them ahead of time with the office.

This was the best experience of my entire life. I booked this tour at the end of my Hawaii trip to end my vacation with a highlight and this was by far the most beautiful thing I’ve ever done. I’ve been following Oceans and Juans work for a couple of years and it’s so inspirational and important what they are doing for sharks! With Gina and Faith we’ve had some amazing safety divers. They were so kind and told us many interesting facts and things to know about sharks. Some of these were really sad when they told us that over 100 million sharks are killed every single year! They also answered everybody’s questions and made us feel so safe in the water! My safety diver was Gina and she took some incredible GoPro videos of my dive and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. I also booked to photo package and my photographer Andrew did everything to get me into good spots for some amazing photos. This experience whole experience made me so happy that I came back for another dive two days later! Thank you to the entire team! I hope that many, many people will go on this tour because it will change your life and your perspective on sharks! Sharks are such important creatures for our ecosystem and they need protection! I feels so incredibly lucky that I got to see them in their natural environment.

We had a private boat with family for our daughter’s wedding week and had an awesome time with Matt, Gina, Hayley and photographer, Bre! It was a great experience we were all a little nervous before going but the crew made us feel at ease, explained the safety and process clearly so we felt comfortable. We ate the jokingest family but they lightened the mood. Once we got in the water it was amazing, clear, calm and pretty simple although I didn’t dive down well. They helped though and we saw Galapagos sharks, a sand type (forget the name) and 2 tigers. Truly amazing. We have a 16year old up to 72year old and everyone enjoyed it immensely. My daughter and fiancé loved it. I would recommend it. We chose it over the other options due to a recommendation to my nephew from Lauren who had experienced with her friend, Faith, that worked for One Ocean. A great experience all around.

This was Amazing I had no words to describe this experience with sharks!! One ocean diving is the best team!! This is something that I never forget it was Amazing saw the sharks in their natural habitat. The tour was so safely and jawsome!!!🫶🥲🦈
Veronica G — Google review
No words can describe this incredible experience! To be in the water, cage free, with these magnificent creatures was awe inspiring. We did the Advanced Tiger Shark program and it was worth every cent. There were some nerves at first but the team of Faith, Matt and Captain Liko were professional and warm and we immediately felt at ease. We swam with 3 Tiger sharks simultaneously and countless Galapagos sharks. There was something so peaceful about it and so moving. The icing on the cake was getting to experience all this with Ocean Ramsey herself and Juan Oliphant. What a privilege. Absolutely unforgettable!!
Nicole M — Google review
This was a lot of fun! I booked this experience just for myself since I was visiting the island 🏝 so I was a little nervous not having anyone to come with me (boyfriend won't swim) 😀 ~ but I'm so glad I did this!! I dont have full mobility (knee & foot surgery) & it takes me a little bit to maneuver ~ can't bend my knee at a full 90*. After everyone else was in the water, the Captain let me take my time getting on my flippers & even helped me... kept talking to me while I was getting ready...never made me feel rushed. [I was already somewhat embarrassed because I am plus size, and I psyched myself out with 'hurry up, get up, jump in, go go go!' - but that wasn't the case.] You dont want to jump in the water as you'll scare the sharks, you need to sit down and climb down a ladder. (Again, this made me nervous because of my knee) Captain kept talking me through it, telling me not to worry, take my time... and voila! I made it into the water. 😀 For those people worried about your weight or limited mobility, dont over-think it ~ trust me. The ladder was the 'most difficult' part but it really wasn't that bad! Do the thing! Book the excursion! The crew was knowledgeable and went over safety guidelines, what sharks we could encounter, and recommended a few documentaries to break the stereotypes about sharks ~ they're not monsters like we see in Jaws, Meg, or other movies ... they're Apex Predators who are misunderstood. ♡♡

Bathrooms were terrible. Porta-potty's were "full" and lines were long!! The stores were clean and well stocked. Matsumoto shave ice was ridiculously long to wait , so we went to Aoki across the street. And it was even better !! Must try!! Great gift shop too!

We’ve gone to Hawaii two times. And this location is one of our favorite on Oahu. Not only do they have a seven brothers restaurant which is the best food restaurant on the island by the way. but they also have these amazing little shops where if you’re not careful you’ll leave with an arm full, but be broke. A nice wonderful laid-back place to visit and play on the beach or better yet do the kayak up the river or take the paddle boards up the river. This is a must go if you’re in Oahu.

I would have spent my life savings in this store if my husband hadn't stopped me. I didn't get any photos of the inside, only some of the outside. The owner was so kind at this shell shop. I went back a couple of times before heading back to the mainland.

Great place along the North Shore. A little bit tourist, but if you're on that side of the island, it's a must stop. I recommend the following: 1. The Coffee Gallery coffee shop. Great lattes. 2. Matsumoto Shave-Ice. It may not be the best shave ice in the state, but i think it is pretty outstanding. 3. Rajanee Thai food. A little on the spicy side, but really tasty.

The North Shore Market Place blends in well with its rural surroundings. Though it may not seem like a large area while on foot, if you look at it on Google Maps, it radiates out quite a distance along the highway. It's made up of several small buildings like a little plantation village, occupied by restaurants and local businesses and not one chain entity. Parking was easy. We had dinner at Cholo's which was very good. OVERALL: Not a shopper's paradise but serves its purpose well.

We drive by this shopping center all the time and finally made a stop and discovered the Coffees Gallery. I grabbed a fresh blueberry scone and their specialty lavender latte. O M G. Both were so tasty. The scone was freshly made and not sweet but full of blueberries. The lavender latte was made just right with my choice of Macadamia milk that made it creamy; with a hint of the relaxing scent of lavender. 😍

Nice variety of shops and restaurants. Parking can be challenging but their are many free options in the area. The street is walkable with sidewalks or though parking lots to get to various stores and marketplaces. Cute area to spend sometime shopping local goods and grabbing a bite to eat. Very close to Haleiwa Beach.

We were there twice over a week. And both times we were there. The stores we visited had super friendly staff. Everybody was helpful. And the snow cones that we bought there were way better than the ones you found in town at the location closer to the bridge where everybody stands in line for 45 minutes. The place became a must stop as we spent time on the North Shore.

Despite typically avoiding burgers while traveling, this spot is highly recommended for burger enthusiasts. The establishment excels in crafting delectable burgers, accompanied by thick shakes and crispy fries. With ample space and the option to enjoy beer on the front patio while listening to live music at select locations like Haleiwa, it offers a unique dining experience.
I walked in and sat at the bar. The bartender, who is also the owner, was super friendly and on point with both taking care of the bar and other guests outside of the bar area. I got the kilauea fire burger with fried pickles. It was delicious, and there was so much food i couldn't finish it all. The beer and liquor selection was quite good for a restraunt in a more touristy area. Definitely will be returning

First time coming here, was recommended by several friends when I asked where to get a good cheeseburger. I went to the location in Haleiwa, I was not disappointed, food was delicious. I ordered a combo, bacon cheeseburger with cheddar cheese, very juicy, fries were hot and crispy, burger was excellent, with a iced tea. Television sets all over, it was Monday night so there was football and also the world series was on. I enjoyed the visit and look forward to bringing my wife back soon. I would recommend this place. A little pricey but what do you expect in Hawaii. Enjoy!

I was starving when i got here and feeling a sunburn coming on so a nice milkshake and one of their special burgers made everything right, honestly i was so ready for it that i didn’t even get a picture of the burger but you won’t be disappointed 🤙

Looking for a great burger? This is the place!!! When you walk in there are two ways to place your order. 1) order from the front counter they will give you your cup and you grab your own beverage from their beverage station. Then wait for your number to be called. 2) OR if you are looking for a nice cold beer to go with your amazing burger, and can grab a seat at the bar, DO IT! The bartender we had was so personable! AND they will take your order there! You won’t have to take a number and wait for it to be called. Luckily we were early enough to be able to grab seats at the bar. Their burgers are delicious! Nice grilled flavor, meaty, and all around AMAZING! Make sure you have lots of napkins! These burgers are no joke! Accompany your burger with a basket of fries, tots, or onion rings. If you’re looking for a serious burger on your way to the north shore stop at Teddy’s!

The best burger I have ever had. The service was exceptional. The drinks were fantastic. It is an open air restaurant so expect flies to swarm you when your food comes. So so so good. I cannot recommend this place enough. Ask for the SECRET menu!

Walking into Teddy’s felt like walking into an old friend’s house. We ordered and had our drinks instantly and food followed just a few minutes later. It was plenty busy and we still had great service! Played little table games and watched basketball while enjoying the food and atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back.

Breakfast restaurant
Breakers Restaurant & Bar is a family-owned establishment that has been a staple on the North Shore of Oahu for the past fifteen years. The restaurant offers seafood-centric American cuisine and features a full tiki-style bar and patio seating adorned with surfboards. It's a great spot to enjoy fresh fish tacos, pork adobo, and other Hawaiian dishes. The bar serves endlessly flowing margaritas and Mai Tais, making it an ideal place to unwind after a day of exploring the island.
Update: today I went to eat again but this time with my family we walked inside and rapidly the waitress came to us and informed us that is a waiting time we agreed to wait in less than 10 minutes she came back and gave us a table she was super friendly and she also were extremely friendly with my kids sha made us feel welcome Mahalo to those two waitresses I will change the 3 starts to 5 starts. Food was ok, came cold potatoes over cooked the Loco Moco was good but was cold too. We had a not so good experience there the person brings the food and had some orders that we did not asked for we told her and she got a bad attitude and said someone get it we told we did not ordered it and she kept saying the same thing. Service was not the best.

Very basic. Nothing spectacular. We expected more from what some of the reviews said. Potatoes were cold & over cooked. Crabcake seemed to be all batter. Waitress put out silverware on the table instead of on a napkin. Party of 2 seated about 20 mins after arriving. Had to wait another 10-15 just to place our order. Breakfast ends at 11:30am. Crowd died down afterwards.

Amazing service, clean restaurant, dog friendly. I had a bloody Mary. It came with bacon, pickles, olive, lemon and lime. You could choose to have it with habanero- infused vodka. My partner had a lava flow and mai tai. He assures me the lava flow was delicious and I can attest to the Mai tai. Only better one I've had was at Mama's Fish House on Maui. I had plantation tea with my meal, and as always, it didn't disappoint. Our appetizer was crab cakes... massive Crab cakes, served with chipotle tartar sauce and a papaya salsa. I cannot stress how good these were! I had pork adobo with rice, mac salad, and fresh tossed salad. My partner had chicken Pasta.

Food and service we're great!!! It's a laid back atmosphere and very professional. My wife said the pulled pork was delicious and I had the best clam chowder on island. The refreshments speak for themselves, literally. 😎🤙

So far, I visited here three times. All servers were so sufficient and friendly. I still cannot decide my favorite .... tons of #glutenfree options. The bartender is a true pro. Also, if you don’t like chickens or mosquitos, stay inside. They are very covid safe ... with spacing, ventilating and cleaning. #supportlocalbusiness

It's been about 6 years since the last time I was there, but still good times. Try the poke appetizer, its enough food for 1. Have a bloody mary and relax. I cant believe they had to take down the surfboard with all the signed dollar bill artwork on there. My wife and I put one up there the day after we were married. Fire hazard my a**

The service was fine, not friendly but she did get us what we needed when we needed it. The food was not good. Over cooked or undercooked. Just awful. The sweet chili wings were plated pretty but thats where the good ends. They were undercooked and I'm not even sure what cut of meat they were... the fish and chips were overdone to the point they were inedible and the pizza tasted of a rejected frozen pizza, actually comparing them to a frozen pizza is probably an insult to all frozen pizzas. It. Was. Bad. Especially for an $80 meal
Mandy F — Google review
Lunch isn't served until noon on the weekend but the Bloody Mary was spot on, so I was occupied for the wait. Burger was ok, nothing special. They make a home-made pineapple sauce that amped the burger up, so that helped. Couple beside me had the fish tacos, they said they were good. Watch out for the birds and chickens cause they're friendly!

L & L Drive-Inn is an island-themed fast-food chain known for its traditional Hawaiian plate lunches. With locations in Chesapeake, VA and Concord, NC, this restaurant offers authentic Hawaiian dishes like Lau Lau and Mac salad. The establishment is committed to sustainability by serving drinks in biodegradable paper cups with straws. While the prices may be a bit high, it's expected given the location in Hawaii.
Great food, served fresh, small space, ordered, cooked fresh. This place was full. It’s clean, no refills on drink. Katso really good, “terry” burger and fries excellent.

Came for the food not the atmosphere. The fried garlic and salt shrimp was the bomb!! It’s way better than the sautéed garlic shrimp. The kalbi and chicken thighs were good. I enjoyed this spot better than the shrimp trucks.

Hawaiian food done right, compared to L & L we frequented in Chesapeake, VA and Concord, NC. Real deal Lau Lau and good Mac salad. Can't beat true Hawaii made food. Restaurant served drinks in biodegradable paper cups and drink straw. Little pricey but, that was expected being in Hawaii.

The restaurant's modern ambiance with Thai accent pieces sets the stage for enjoying traditional favorites like Pad Thai, Chili Basil Chicken, Tum Yum Soup, and various curries.
This place is a north shore classic! We've been eating here for over 20 years. Last night as we were eating my wife commented about just how fresh and tasty the food was. We are always a bit careful about the spice level... it can get VERY spicy... but always delish We always enjoy the summer rolls... peanut sauce is amazing Try the coconut rice... and everything else. Plan ahead and get a reservation... it can get very busy at dinner time.

Got the country noodles (pad Thai with extra add inns) and yellow curry Chicken satay was amazing Katie was all by herself and crushing it tonight. I was going to stay in Honolulu for our last day, called an audible and will be back here for lunch before we fly out to mainland tomorrow. Forgot to take pictures of the meal
Scott K — Google review
The staff failed to address an issue with an incorrect order, dismissing concerns in a manner that felt manipulative and dismissive. Having dined here numerous times, we are well-acquainted with the distinction between their Pad Thai and Country Pad Thai. The closure of one of their locations is unsurprising given this level of service. Without improvement, sustaining operations at this location may prove challenging. Enhanced accountability and customer care are strongly recommended.

What an amazing staff. So fun and loving. Small cozy environment. You can tell the food is made to order and with precision. Both the Bangkok night noodle and chili basil were fantastic. If you like veggies, add it to your Bangkok night noodle. I will definitely be coming back often

Many gluten free options, labeled clearly on the menu. Had the yellow curry noodles and pineapple fried rice. 😋 Very tasty, good portions, no added spice was perfect for my Midwest palate. Staff was great and hard working. Prices were very good compared to other island restaurants.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. The food is fantastic! The service was phenomenal! I didn’t want to leave. I had the roast duck with yellow curry, and a side of sticky rice. I would absolutely get it all again. The mango sticky rice was excellent. I liked it best when compared to the fried bananas and ice cream although there was nothing wrong with that dish either. It is a small space, but I liked the open atmosphere (they had the doors open when we were there). If you are thinking about giving this place a shot don’t think twice about it. It’s great!!!

Super fast friendly servers. The food was good. Thai hot is not hot, but that’s my only complaint. I understand they have to cater to tourists. Would definitely go again.
Jeff H — Google review
This place was not too busy when we sat down for lunch, but I could not tell you why. The service was great and the thai food was phenomenal, not to mention a reasonable price. We all tried different dishes and were not disappointed. Be advised, if ordering a spicy dish, you will want to mix it as most of the spices are at the bottom under the noodles/rice. Will return for another meal here.

Botanical garden
Waimea Valley, located on the North Shore of Oahu, is a vast parkland that offers a blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage. This botanical garden spans nearly 2,000 acres and features a diverse collection of tropical plants from around the world. Visitors can explore traditional Hawaiian cultural practices and learn about Native Hawaiian history while strolling through the lush gardens. The valley is also home to a towering waterfall that cascades into a picturesque swimming hole.
A wonderful place to visit with family, friends or in a group. A lot of vegetation from all over the island. Rare birds and plants. Unfortunately the waterfall was bone dry due to lack of rain. Still nice to see the beauty what the place has to offer. Definitely a must go if you’re visiting Oahu.
Frederick C — Google review
It’s a nice place to visit. It’s all paved and the greenery is very nice. However, if you have to drive from Waikiki just to visit the valley it’s not worth the drive. Better if you combine it with other activities in the same area or maybe swim at the Waimea beach which is very nice. The swim at the falls is not always allowed. Better call ahead to verify.
Marleine E — Google review
Such an amazing place! Very fun to explore Please bring cash! There are many nice people along the trail that share with you their music or art. They are all amazing at what they do and are so talented. They only take tips in cash though.
Shani T — Google review
Lots of parking, and a well groomed path make this an easy hike. Be ready to pay admission, but the fee is deflected in the conditions of the park. The path and grounds are groomed nicely, plenty of bathrooms and trash bins make for a great experience. The falls are the star for sure, and changing rooms with life vests are great for swimmers. Recommended if you have time to make the stop!
Michael L — Google review
Beautiful botanical grounds, some cultural sites, an easy paved path to the waterfall, some optional side paths with stairs to see even more of the beautiful plants. Entry to the waterfall is large uneven rocks, I recommend wearing water shoes and not for anyone with mobility issues.
Kristy J — Google review
Opening hours are 9 am to 4 pm. Closed on mondays. Price is 25$ which is totally overpriced. It is a 3 km entirely paved walk. You can pay a shuttle 10$ one way. So if you have difficulty to walk you are paying 45$… Overwise it is a 30/45 mins walk. The park is beautiful to reach the cascade. I think you can call to check the recent rain fall as the cascade flows depends on it. Some people go and see very little waterfalls. There is an overcrowded swimming area. It is a very nice place but if you are a family of 4 it is a certain budget and becomes not worth it. If you have a limited budget this is not a must. If you don’t mind paying for an hour excursion then it is pleasant but not fantastic. You can buy the tickets at the door. There is a free parking

Amazing walk through the botanical gardens and ended off with a a beautiful waterfall. Paths are easily walkable, came with my mother and younger child. We stopped in the huts and received a pin after answering some questions. Just a wonderful experience and would recommend it especially to a family. And buy the souvenir book, my daughter had fun checking off all the birds she saw, and used it throughout the rest of our trip.

Waimea Botanical Garden, situated on Oahu's north shore, offers a diverse array of plants and a picturesque waterfall. Visitors can pay an entrance fee and opt for a shuttle to Waimea Falls if needed. The garden provides an easy paved hike leading to the falls, with the added bonus of an authentic Hawaiian village to explore. There are also snack options available at the base and near the falls.
Beautiful, peaceful gardens with an easy paved walkway to the falls. We didn’t swim but many were enjoying swimming in the fall’s pool. We took our time walking a meandering along the various paths. As we weee completing our time it was getting g close to noon and the day was getting very warm so prepare with taking water. There is also a shuttle that you can use if you choose to not walk the entire length of the trail.

Absolutely beautiful and worth the drive! It was about a mile walk to the waterfall, mostly because the kids took a lot of detours to see the foliage, flowers and make crafts. Our group had 4 children, aged 2.5 to 9 and they were all able to do the entire walk without issue. They do offer shuttle service for $10 each way, but we were able to enjoy the scenery and take our time enjoying the walk (lots of shade too!). We ended the walk at the waterfall and all took a dip in the water, it was incredible. They do require life jackets, which they provide free of charge. There are restrooms, paved trails, changing rooms, and restaurants and a coffee shop. We ate lunch after the walk and swim and the food was very tasty (highly recommend the ahi sandwich).

Waimea Botanical Garden offers a serene and tranquil experience in a lush, tropical paradise. Visitors can enjoy well-maintained gardens with labeled plants, walkways leading to gorgeous waterfalls, and the opportunity to swim in natural pools. The cultural aspect of the garden adds depth to the visit, with traditional Hawaiian structures and educational displays enriching the experience. The walk through the garden is especially delightful when the weather is pleasant, not too hot and with a gentle breeze. The paved paths make it accessible for most visitors, and the shaded areas provide relief from the sun. It's advisable to check the weather forecast before visiting, as conditions can vary. During the dry season, the waterfall may be reduced to a trickle or dry up completely. While this is a natural occurrence, it doesn't diminish the overall beauty of the garden. The surrounding flora and the peaceful ambiance make it a worthwhile visit year-round.

What an amazing place! This was one of our favourite botanical gardens, and they way everything is organised is awesome: the hike, the plants, the scented flowers, the swim. A must see@

It was a little pricey to get in when you have a few of you. Its $25/adult and $15/kid but it was very worth it. The waterfall was beautiful and the water felt sooo good. The walk isnt difficult and is only 3/4 of a mile. I would recommend you bring water shoes because there are lots of slippery rocks when getting in and out. This has been my favorite experience of our trip so far.
Morgan M — Google review
I booked ahead and bought passes for the falls trail. I was really disappointed to learn that this didnt mean I'd be able to park to actually do the trail. Parking is super limited and fills up right away. We drove around the parking lot for 20 minutes until someone left and we could get a spot. Also, if you pre buy your tickets, you don't skip any line. You wait in the long line of people who are just showing up to buy their tickets. The trail isn't long or difficult and the plants along the way are quite beautiful. There are tables at the start of the trail with locals selling art. It was a strange scenario. The locals said not a word and had beautiful things laid out but the way it was a gauntlet, I felt pressured to quickly move through or I'd have to buy something. At the end of the trail are the falls. Honestly, if you've ever seen falls l, these are very small and anticlimactic and the murky water beneath was absolutely filled to the brim with tourists in life jackets, which cheapened the effect. Ironically, the little snack shop was impressive and the hot dog I had rivaled MLB ballparks so A plus on that. I would skip this and attempt the Waimea Beach Park across the street (beautiful beach for swimming in waves in summer just get there by 8am for a parking spot).

Sunset Beach Park, located on the North Shore, offers a unique experience throughout the year. In winter, it attracts professional wave riders and hosts the second leg of the Triple Crown of Surfing. The beach is known for its strong waves and is a prime spot for surfing during this season. In contrast, summer brings calm waves and a swimming channel before the reef, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the sun.
This was the first beach we went to on Oahu and loved it. Not quite swimming weather as it was very windy, the water was cold and the waves were huge but we enjoyed very much walking on the beach, seeing the sunset and just being there. I love a good, relaxing beach.

Sunset Beach is beautiful, and it truly lives up to its name; absolutely perfect for sunset. The water itself is generally mellow, with little waves but nothing too strong, making it pleasant for wading or just enjoying the view. A definite must-see if you're on the North Shore.

Went here to watch the sunset...it was a beautiful spot to do so. You had to be patient to find a parking space as it gets busy and a number of people gather to watch it. I recommend getting there at least 30 minutes before sunset.

Sunset Beach is home to the famed crooked/bent/curved palm tree that grows horizontally toward the ocean and makes the perfect backdrop for sunset pix. According to a sign attached to the tree, it is over 100 years old. Must-see iconic spot on Oahu’s North Shore!

Laniakea Beach, also known as Turtle Beach, is a renowned destination on the North Shore of Oahu near Haleiwa. It's famous for its stunning beauty and abundant wildlife, particularly sea turtles that can be spotted swimming or sunbathing on the sand. The beach is closely monitored by volunteers from organizations like Malama Na Honu who are dedicated to protecting these gentle creatures and educating visitors about them.
We arrived around 11:15, on a low tide, sunny day. and were honored to see 2 of the turtles 🐢 basking. parking is limited across the street. recommend going on a weekday, not too crowded. the water is clear, lots of rocks

Very chilled beach. Many people come to see the turtles resting at the beach. It's pretty awesome and relaxing. Parking is limited, and you may encounter the "Turtle Traffic " as well due to the popularity. It is better to plan accordingly.

We drove around on the north shore and ended up at this wonderful place where we saw tortoises. They were crossing over the beach into the water. There were a couple of on sight guides and helpers to make sure that tortoises were protected and we're able to reach the water safely. It was an incredible sight to see and our family loved seeing them go across and to the water. Totally recommend doing this with your family.

Too sandy for snorkeling but a nice place to relax and swim. The pillbox trail isn’t far so we did that first and got a nice panoramic view of the beach.

We came for the turtles. We saw some turtles. It was majestic watching these creatures, these big ol’ things, just lounging around, almost like they were paying rent. Highly recommended if ya’ll like turtles.
Frank B — Google review
Laniakea Beach, also known as Turtle Beach, was an absolute highlight of our trip to Oahu! We were thrilled to see two sea turtles swimming gracefully in the shallow water and one relaxing right on the sand — such a peaceful and awe-inspiring experience. The beach itself is beautiful and laid-back, with soft sand, gentle waves, and a calm, natural vibe. It’s the perfect place to slow down, take in the view, and appreciate Hawaii’s incredible wildlife. Seeing these gentle honu (Hawaiian green sea turtles) up close — while giving them space, of course — was something we’ll never forget. There were friendly volunteers on site helping protect the turtles and share their knowledge, which made the experience even more meaningful. Parking can be a bit limited, but with a little patience, it’s well worth it. Laniakea Beach is a must-visit if you’re on the North Shore — where else can you share the shoreline with sea turtles in their natural habitat?

Free samples to help you decide which flavor of macadamia nuts to buy! Unfortunately the only size available is 7 oz ($13) and there’s no discount for purchasing bulk (we purchased ~15 bags). Flavors: coconut • caramel • cinnamon • coffee • garlic onion • honey • salted • unsalted Lots of other goodies, including Kona coffee, original vintage Hawaii photographs, skincare products, and jewelry. The shop kitties and Mei the broody hen were super cute. Skip the fresh coconut vendor nearby, the coconuts did not have flavor.

Loved the free samples! It was hard to decide what to buy, all of them are actually good. It's pricey, yes but no pressure to buy. It's just nice to support local. Bought the honey roasted macadamia and Pineapple honey, they're eally good! The coffee sample was nice too!

I am not a fan of nuts but my husband is so we had to stop here. They had MANY samples and I discovered several kinds that I enjoyed. It's a very small shop but you can see Macamia trees, try samples of nuts and coffee, and check out the items in the store. I definitely recommend making a quick stop here.

So 2 years ago I was on a tour to Northshore Macadamia Nut and had a great time with the history and the kindness from this certain lady. Told us how the locals needed supported bc the big millionaires was trying to change the island and the culture. I didn't get her name but she was so kind and gentle that she made an impression on me. So now in 2025 me and my wife rented a car this time for Hawai'i instead and toured the island ourselves and we went back to Northshore Macadamia and ask if that lady still worked here. She was so sweet! They said yes and went in the back to go get her. She still the sweetest person. Greeted us with a hug and just as 2 yrs ago talked to us like we're family! U know there's something special about an individual and their spirit when a stranger (me) from 2 yrs ago wanted to see her and greet her. So this wonderful lady name is Iwalani! What a blessing she is! Blessings to her and her family! Support the locals! The coffee is really smooth and the nuts come in a variety of flavors. We bought the garlic onion, cinnamon, caramel, and coffee flavors. And if nothing else come meet this sweet lady Iwalani!♥️

Good place to visit and taste some local macadamia nuts and Mona coffee. Chase some chicken and pet cats…

Must visit - highly recommend to visit this small macadamia shop. They offer free samples of all available flavors and all of them are very good. Everyone has different favorite ones, so buy one each if you can. The staff is very nice. The place is clean. If the weather allows, you can across the street to watch big waves.

Haleʻiwa Beach Park is a popular spot on Oahu's North Shore, offering various amenities such as a playground, basketball and volleyball courts, picnic areas, showers, and restrooms. The park is renowned for its premier wave break that attracts experienced surfers seeking high-performance capabilities. It is also frequented by surf schools due to its proximity to Haleiwa town and the relatively smaller waves during big swells compared to other spots.
Truly such a beautiful place on the island. We came by here while we were doing our Circle Tour of the island. You could see lots of sea turtles and the bay is truly gorgeous. There's a little beach just to the East of the parking lot where you can go down in the water and there's also lots of beautiful coral reef structures that you can walk around and check out. I could have spent half the day there to explore everything in the area. They have some great shade trees in the park and you can just sit and watch the ocean.
Corey M — Google review
Large park with plenty of parking. There are some large rocks in the sand. We were able to see a beautiful sunset. Turtles kept popping their heads up. We also saw some jumping fish. Plenty of people setting up their grills and serving up dinner.
Larry H — Google review
Nice park to visit. Plenty of parking spots. The parking lot was mostly empty on a Monday afternoon. Restrooms available and showers too. Basketball courts with a playground for the ones interested.

Hale'iwa Beach Park offers a completely different vibe from the bustling shores of Waikīkī. This beach is untamed, powerful, and truly captivating. I loved the raw, natural beauty and spent hours simply watching the massive, rolling waves and the incredibly skilled surfers who dared to ride them. It’s an inspiring sight that made me wish I could join them out on the water! The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing. I actually felt so at peace that I ended up taking a blissful nap on the beach, listening to the sound of the crashing surf. This does, however, lead to my one regret: I didn't get up to check for turtles, which I've heard are often spotted in the area or basking on the sand. My one significant complaint, and the reason for a four-star instead of a five-star review, is the condition of the restroom facilities. They were not well taken care of and could really use some maintenance and cleaning to match the natural beauty of the park itself.
Jayne Z — Google review
One of our favorite beaches on the island! We loved spotting sea turtles in the water by random chance! At 4-5pm they were popping up in the water and we were able to see them snorkeling!! The beach was a bit rocky at first but once you get out a bit further it was great snorkeling! Beautiful view and felt more secluded and quieter compared to other beaches on the island!
Alice G — Google review
That sunset... *chef kiss* Seen a couple turtles swimming around, nice and, but rocky in some spots too. Still, this is one of my favorite beaches on the island. More parking options than many other spots, nice water for swimming, and close to matsumoto's.
Ross B — Google review
Oh My Goodness! This is a little piece of Heaven. There are many sea turtles just hanging out around the rocks (Please remember- DO NOT TOUCH - it is against the law) but you can get into the water and snorkel and they will hang out right near you as long as you leave them alone. The park itself needed some clean up but if everyone did their part it would be helpful. Different areas have you different activities and beautiful views and beaches. From surfers to snorkeling
Marie J — Google review
The park is very nice - a big parking lot and a wonderful sunset view. We were there in July and there were no waves at all, just perfectly safe for kids! However I rate it 4 stars because it's not sandy in the water, hence the water color looks pretty much like Black Sea and it's not convenient to step on the sea bottom

Surf N Sea is a well-established surf and dive shop located on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. It has been an iconic fixture in Haleiwa for decades, offering a wide range of surf gear, T-shirts, footwear, and accessories. The shop also provides surf and dive lessons for enthusiasts looking to hit the waves or explore underwater adventures. Additionally, visitors can rent high-quality surfboards and book adventure tours at this full-service shop.
We booked our teenagers surf lessons facilitated by Surf N Sea thru Viator for 5/27/25 and they received instruction and support from Henry and the kids really liked him and observed he was more instructional than some of the other coaches/guides while they were out on the water. It was a great experience, they really enjoyed it. The shop itself was fascinating, it was really neat to be in an establishment that had been around for over 50yrs, the staff was friendly and welcoming.

Our family of three had a family lesson with Henry. We had never surfed. It was great! Henry had us catching waves right away! Even our ten year old was getting on waves! We had a great time and we're looking forward to trying surfing out on our own. Also, the surf shop is amazing! They have all the things you would want in a surf shop, plus an attentive staff and hand-made ukuleles hanging around the shop! The ukes looked beautiful! Definitely check this place out!

I was completely impressed by the staff at Surf N Sea! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Moni, who quickly and clearly answered all my questions—even taught us how to pronounce “Haleiwa” and explained its meaning, which was such a cool touch. While I was talking with Moni, my husband was being helped by Angelina, who not only provided great service but also gave us some awesome local recommendations. Both Moni and Angelina weren’t just representing the Surf N Sea brand—they were genuine advocates for the entire North Shore community. Also, big shoutout for having a public restroom! Those were tough to come by along the road, and it was much appreciated. Here’s our haul from the shop—we’ll happily recommend!.

Surf N Sea – Legendary Vibes on the North Shore 🌊🏄‍♂️ No Circle Island Tour of Oʻahu is complete without a pit stop at the iconic Surf N Sea in Haleʻiwa. This place isn’t just a surf shop—it’s a North Shore institution, a temple for wave chasers since 1965. Located right on the water where the surf breaks are world-famous, this is where the aloha spirit and surf culture collide. 🤙 Chill Crew, Classic Vibes We rolled in and were greeted by a crew that was cool, laid-back, and super welcoming—total legends. Whether you’re a first-timer, a weekend warrior, or a full-on barrel hunter, the staff and instructors make you feel like part of the tribe. They know their stuff, they live the life, and they’re all about sharing the stoke. 🛍️ Gear, History & Good Vibes The shop itself? Packed with boards, gear, beachwear, and surf memorabilia. It’s not just a place to buy—it’s a place to feel the soul of surfing. Every corner has a story. You’re walking through a piece of North Shore history—this shop has stood the test of time, right across from the break, watching generations of surfers drop into waves and dreams. 🏄‍♀️ Lessons from the Best If you’re new to surfing or want to fine-tune your skills, the instructors here are top-notch. Patient, stoked, and all about getting you up on that board and riding your first wave with confidence. They’re passionate about what they do, and it shows. 🌺 Final Drop-In Surf N Sea is a must-stop spot on your Oʻahu adventure. Whether you’re picking up gear, booking a lesson, or just soaking in the surf culture, this place is the real deal. Local roots, global reputation, and pure aloha. One rule: When in Haleʻiwa, always stop at Surf N Sea. You’ll walk in curious and leave stoked.

Love this place. I was on the north shore earlier this month with a decent size group scuba diving everyday. The store might be near 100 years old but their rental gear isn't. All the rental gear is brand new and the process of picking up tanks to dropping them off was super smooth and efficient. Special tanks to Joey, Lilly, David, Eddie & Hunter y'all made the backend of our trip way easier, thus making our adventures even more epic! <*)))><

Ok not a kayak guy but this was fun. The cost 30 dollars for a hour was very reasonable. They have little river nearby that was nice to travel up and was able to see schools of fish, lots of vegetation and even a few turtles. We had a great time with the family.

Banzai Bowls Haleiwa is a popular pit stop known for its vibrant acai bowls and smoothies crafted from an assortment of fruits and juices. With two locations in the North Shore, including the newest one in Haleiwa, it's highly recommended for its generous portions and delectable menu offerings. Visitors rave about the Maui Sunrise blend and suggest mixing it with apple juice while adding goji berries for an extra burst of flavor.
Perfect stop for a delicious and refreshing pick me up after a long day on the North Shore! The acai bowls have a ton of flavor and the fresh fruit is not only blended but also added on top. Highly recommend if you have time. The shop can get busy and there were only 2 people taking orders and making the bowls, but definitely worth the wait!
Corry S — Google review
Banzai Bowls serves up some seriously delicious açaí bowls! I had the Shoyo bowl, and my wife had the Maui Sunrise—both were amazing, packed with fresh fruit and great flavors. The portions are generous, and you can’t beat enjoying them by the beach. That said, the prices feel a bit steep considering the ingredients seem to purchased from Costco. You’re definitely paying for the location and the experience. I highly recommend grabbing your bowl and walking across the street to enjoy it on the benches with a beachfront view—it’s the perfect spot to relax. Overall, fantastic bowls, but be prepared to pay a little extra for the vibe and location.

Perfect North Shore pit stop! The acai bowls here are super refreshing, packed with flavor, and loaded with fresh toppings. We got ours to go and they held up great—cool, creamy, and satisfying. The vibe of the place matches the area—laid-back, clean, and welcoming. Staff was friendly and the service was quick. Definitely a go-to if you’re in Haleiwa and craving something healthy, cold, and delicious!

Shared the Sharks Cove Açai Bowl with 3 people and it was so good! Apart from the long waiting time, the taste and size of the bowl made it worth it. Highly recommend!

My family and I tried the “Off The Wall” and the “Maui Sunrise” — both were amazing!! Super friendly staff and the vibes were high. Definitely recommend stopping here if you’re on the North Shore!!

Not my favorite acai flavor but decent when topped with fruit. I added peanut butter to the basic bowl and it was an extra 2.50.. pretty pricy in my opinion.
Bailey M — Google review
Super fast, plenty of seating, the small was huge! And they were very generous with the toppings on the açaí bowl!! High recommend! Can go sit on the beach right Across the street too!
Danielle P — Google review
I was really disappointed by this place because I had high expectations because of the reviews. It’s my first açai bowl in Hawaii so I don’t know if that’s just how they are here but the açai was absolutely flavourless. I got the shoyo bowl where the base is acai blended with almond milk, and it was a smoothie like consistency. The acai was pale purple so clearly quite diluted, and it just tasted of absolutely nothing. The toppings were generous, as was the general portion size (18$ for a large bowl that was truly quite large) and the peanut butter I added was nice, but then there was a large drizzle of honey, also tasteless, and just extremely sugary. The granola is also not very nice. The girls working there are not the warmest of people either. So overall disappointed, it was still refreshing but the açai had no taste, the only distinctive ‘flavour’ was sugar.

Panda's Thai Food Truck, situated at 59-158 Kamehameha Highway, is a popular spot for authentic and affordable Thai cuisine on the north shore. The food truck offers a variety of delicious options, including vegan-friendly dishes and delectable desserts. Customers can enjoy their meals at picnic tables while taking in the beach vibes.
Fresh, fast, and delicious. We were on our way back to Waikiki and needed to grab dinner. Ended up staying and eating at the picnic tables. We ordered the pad Thai with shrimp, panang curry with chicken, steamed veggies, and the Thai iced tea. We had a baby with us and the steamed veggies didn’t have any oil or salt, so our baby could enjoy them too! The iced tea was SO flavourful, I’ve never had anything like it before. The service was friendly and the food was really fresh and delicious. It was also well priced. Definitely would go back!

It's an Asian dish by the beach, and it's famous on the Internet, and social media says it's delicious. We came here because of this Thai-flavored shop right next to the road next to the beach. The restaurant turned out to be just a truck, with four tables placed beside it and a large awning. There is a European guy who runs the restaurant. The business is good but there is no need to queue. We ordered shrimp rice and it tasted good.
Gordon Z — Google review
Such a high-quality Thai food truck I’ve had so far. Panda’s Thai Food Truck sells solid and yummy dishes. Great place to stop by after surfing from Chuns Reef Beach. You can ask to make your food spicy upon a request. The owner of this food truck is friendly, and she will recommend some dishes if you cannot decide what you should try at Panda’s Thai Food Truck.

Friendly staff and delicious food. We got the green curry with freshly caught Marlin and Thai Basil with shrimp. The veggies were the perfect consistency (not mushy like you often get in curries), and the flavor was great.
Josh K — Google review
Some of the best food in north shore. The reviews don’t lie. Pad Thai was favorite and curries and rise are plenty good. The location is walkable from sunset beach so makes going to eat and beach one parking task
Scott P — Google review
Food was very flavourful, I got the pineapple red curry, spice level hot and it really hit the spot. Thai iced tea with coconut milk, man this is to die for, so creamy and delicious. Definitely check this place out!
Viveka R — Google review
Food: very oily/greasy for each of the four dishes we got. Egg rolls were not great either. Service: horrible. We waited an hour for our food because they thought we had left. In fact, we were sitting right in front of them waiting for our food. You could not miss us (but apparently you could). Mango sticky rice was like rice in coconut milk, and was not sticky. Was more like a pourridge. Woildnjot suggest getting.

Their cashew nut stir fry was amazing with lots of meat and veggies. The coconut sticky rice was equally great. Pleasant prices for the amount of food you get. One of my favorites on the North Shore, for sure.

Fast food restaurant
Aji Limo Truck is a vibrant and offbeat food truck located near Sharks Cove in Oahu. Its rainbow exterior and driftwood-style seating area create an inviting atmosphere for diners. The menu offers a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine, with a focus on fresh seafood such as poke bowls, fish tacos, and shrimp sandwiches. In addition to seafood, the truck also serves delicious vegetarian options like the pipeline Teriyaki burger.
This has got to be one of the best places to hit up for poke bowels. We order the Chirashi, Hawaiian, and the spicy Ahi. Every poke we order are huge portions, it is fresh and full of flavour. We also had the shrimp taco that was wonderful, but the only thing I would say is stay away from the noodle dish. That was a bit salty and the ahi was over cooked. Other than that this is the place to go to for your poke around the North Shore! Service was wonderful and the atmosphere was fantastic. Great place to enjoy your dinner and watch the sunset. We came here twice cuz it was that good!!!
Kush C — Google review
Cool place to sit and eat especially after catching the sunset at Shark's Cove across the street. Wake up this special of the day which was Marlin tacos, the fish was a touch overdone but not too bad. The sauce they put on top really set off the taco

Tried out Aji Limo Truck for dinner while in the area. It’s neighbours to Seven Brothers. Plates aren’t worth the extra cost. - Fried calamari ($12.00 USD) - standard fare - Yuca fries ($10.00 USD) - small portion - Thai poke ($19.00 USD plate) - out of mango - Ceviche poke ($17.00 USD bowl) - only came with a few chips, red onions and lettuce. Meh - Spicy poke ($17.00 USD bowl) - way too much raw white onion - Hawaiian poke ($19.00 USD plate) - Palo santo poke ($19.00 USD plate) - best of the pokes we tried - Yakisoba ($17.00 USD) - chicken was dry, noodles were bland Foodland in the adjacent lot has better poke at half the price.

I used to come here all the time and the poke was always good. Today it was horrible; the fish was not fresh and there was an entire plate of soggy rice to go with it. Don’t even think this is the Spicy miso poke I ordered. Tasted so bad ): so disappointed especially for $17.
Azeysha T — Google review
Our first food stop during our Hawaii vacation and we were very impressed. I ordered the spicy seared ahi poke bowl and asked to add some garlic shrimp and avocado--super flavourful and delicious. Had the bowl size which is smaller than the plate and I found it super filling. Food didn't take long to make. Lots of flavor and a nice kick to it. Husband had the Peruvian surf and turf. Great flavour but the beef was a bit chewy. Great atmosphere, few picnic tables to sit, typical random chickens roaming around, got bothered by some bugs falling off trees but I'm a city girl so I'm easily bothered with these things lol. Regardless would come again!

We had lunch here today. The Poke bowl was great Im told. However I don't recommend the fish and chip sandwich.

Super cute atmosphere. Tucked away in the back so don’t miss it. Lots of great tables to chose from. Three of us got the Yakisoba with chicken. Was super tasty and good and large. Two of us got the poke. The fish was fresh but the dish lacked in variety. It was rice, onion, sauce and the fish protein. The rice was undercooked and not very tasty. Zero veggies. Was a bit disappointing. But the yakisoba was not!
