Restaurant
Margaritaville Ocho Rios is a vibrant entertainment village in Jamaica that offers something for everyone. During the day, families can enjoy a two-story 100-foot waterslide and pool, while at night, the village transforms into an adult playground. The Havana Day Dreamin bar and lounge exudes an intimate Afro-Cuban ambiance with its mosaic tiles and wrought iron accents, serving a variety of local and international rums.
Went to the ochi location, there wasn't an entry fee, we had a very nice server, and our table was held while we enjoyed the pool and beach. We used the slide, and they had tubing as well as a car speed boat thing. There is alot of other things to do we had ice cream after and the food was really good a had alot of authentic Jamaican menu items

Another great experience at Margaritaville Ocho Rios.. We were there a couple years ago during a family vacation and had a wonderful time. My daughter and I were on a cruise there 2 weeks ago. I met my son there who was vacationing with his dad. The food and drinks were excellent, the atmosphere is always a vibe. I believe his name is Greg, phenomenal guy. One Love ❤️can’t wait to visit again🇯🇲

I stopped by today as a part of my birthday 🎂 celebration and had a great experience. From the server to DJ Flavor it was a great. He even played games with us and offered shots 🍾 keep it up and yall won't regret it if you go😊🫶

Everything about this place is amazing!! You have many options to dine! You can dine on the beach, in the restaurant, or get it to go! Please stay though because the food is so good! I had the jerk pork tacos and Starter shrimp and it was delicious! The drinks were good and they offer kamikaze shots for $3. The DJ plays great music that can be heard inside, outside and on the beach!! Kudos for the kiddos during the day with the pool and slide inside of the restaurant!! Must be 18 and older to enter or accompanied by adult for kiddo swimming.

Heard a lot about this place so we had to go we went in the daytime it was quiet but I’m sure evening would be a party . It’s a lot like a Red Robin

We went for lunch on Saturday. The place is quite busy. Food was good. Main issues were flies
Carla — Google review
During my recent cruise stop in Ocho Rios, I had the chance to visit Margaritaville, and overall, it was a solid experience. Pros: Quick 10 min walk from the port. The drinks are very affordable, especially considering the location. It's nice to have a budget-friendly option when you're docked in a touristy area. You get access to the beach for free as long as you purchase food or drinks, which is a great deal. The beach itself was clean, and the water was beautiful—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun. Cons: The beach area is on the smaller side, so it can get crowded quickly. It didn’t detract from the experience, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re hoping for more space. The bathrooms could definitely use some attention. They weren’t as clean as I would’ve liked, which was a bit of a downside.

Shopping mall
Shopping
Island Village Jamaica is a modern entertainment park in Ocho Rios, designed to resemble a traditional Jamaican coastal village. It features a quiet beach, craft shops, bars, restaurants, a video-casino, art gallery, and an amphitheatre with regular open-air performances. The Reggae Xplosion Museum is also popular among visitors.
Island Village is a quaint Shopping mall. It is unique in that it has are wide variety of places to visit and a wide variety of things to do. There are Jewelry stores, Perfume stores, a convenience store, souveneir stores, a photo studio, cofee shops, restaurants, ice-cream shops (including one that sells Devon House ice-ream and another that sells rolled ice-cream), popcicle stands and much more. There is even a restaurant with a beach and water slides (Margarita Ville). Weekly events such as kareoke nights are also held here (somtimes free of cost). It is a common place for both tourists and locals to come to relax and unwind. It is a good place to go with friends and family and to have events. I want to make special mention of "KK Tavern & Lounge", a restaurant my family and I recently went to, to celebrate my birthday. The outside seating area is situated right by a fish pond and the view was beautiful. The customer service was stellar, the food delicious and very affordable. Their menu consist of mainly Jamaican meals such as chicken & chips, steamed fish, rice and peas and curry goat or stewed pork. I have posted images of this restaurant and the food my family and I ordered. I would 100% recommend.
Elissa P — Google review
Was great to be at but their food is over priced so it's best to just oay the 1500 for beach access for the locals.

A very nice, clean and peaceful place. Has an Scotia ATM, ice cream shop, movie theater, and many other stores. Had the cleanest public restrooms I’ve ever used. A very nice place to chill. Nice ambiance.

Lovely village. Nice walk around, nice views. There is a lovely Starbucks and a few good restaurants. I wish shops had more variety of items. Many tend to sell the same souvenirs. But overall it is a nice place to visit and one could catch a movie or have some lunch!

Wow 😳! Great place. Parking can be a bit tight though. It has the stores for tourists and locals alike: Margaritaville, Starbucks, 🍦🍨 shops, souvenirs shop, and much more. A good place for a nice family outing to relax, eat and have some fun time together. As you pass through the entrance, you sanitize hands and wear mask 😷. I'm fine with that 😜.

Bar
Ocean's 11 in Ocho Rios is a laid-back restaurant and bar near the cruise ship pier, offering elegant dining and drinks right on the beach. The menu features a mix of authentic Jamaican cuisine and seafood dishes, all cooked to order with local herbs and spices. The casual seating area downstairs provides a relaxed atmosphere, while the open deck upstairs offers stunning views of the sea.
We made a few visits to this restaurant during our stay in Ocho Rios. Loved the grilled salmon with rice & peas as well as the escovitch fish with festival & chips. The cocktails were flavoursome & very strong. The place was always lively with musical rhythms & the staff were always polite & helpful. It was nice to eat & look out at the sea & and be able to see the cruise ships come & go. Will definitely return to Ocean's 11.

*Review for Oceans 11 Restaurant – Ocho Rios My boyfriend and I visited Oceans 11 in Ocho Rios for dinner, and it was such an enjoyable experience. This was my first time dining here, and from start to finish, everything was lovely. Our server, Tish, was very pleasant, responsive, and attentive, making sure everything was going well with us throughout the evening. Her warm personality and great service really added to the overall experience. We started with fritters, and they were absolutely delicious — perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. For the main course, I had stew peas with white rice, which was hearty, rich, and so comforting. My boyfriend had garlic shrimp with green plantain, and he thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a casual yet special night out. We left satisfied and happy, and I would definitely return to Oceans 11 to enjoy more of their menu. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — Highly recommend!

Food was excellent. I went there 10/21 for my birthday and the food never disappoint. Love it. Karaoke was good too.

Had my first time visit here. The food tasted really good which seems to be consistent across dishes based on the other persons present. The wait however was long. Bar service was nice! I also loved the atmosphere! Not much compares to food and drink by the ocean after a long week! My entire experience was supported by the best reggae hits from local veterans! This will certainly become a spot for me in Ochi. I was told Tuesdays are for Karoke so if that’s your vibe, be sure to visit then.

There were HUGE cockroaches running around our tables. So everyone was jumping and uncomfortable. Also, The service was the absolute worst! My caeser salad was way too wet. When I asked for a replacement with dressing on the side the manager told me I shouldn't have eaten any of it after only taking two bites. Then brought the salad out after everyone else got their food. No, I did not eat it. I'll always go back to Jamaica and I'll never come to this place again. Caribbean people always show manners. But not the manager here. Just bitter and ugly..
Brandalynn P — Google review
My food and service were exceptional. The bartender set the whole tone for my visit...dude made a spectacular drink, put the Euros on (that's +50pts right there!) and we had a good chat. The fish and bammy was spectacular. I was there for a biz meeting and we sat by the tables overlooking the water. I highly recommend and I will be back several dozen times.

If you are in the mood for just a nice view to look from then this is the place. Food wise then no save your palate. I ordered a shrimp pasta; let's just say that i was served a plate of oil with ingredients on top. There was no taste. I had to request ketchup to see if it helped and it did no justice. I requested to talk to the chef just to see if he knew what he was serving but was a no show or even courtesy to talk to a customer (guess I am too basic for their attention). Spoke to the manager but that didn't make any difference. Yes I took the pasta from the serving dish in the first pic and put in the extra plate as seen. My daughter had chicken tenders and rice. Let's just say she has yet to touch 90% of her meal. She is a toddler who was fussy asking how long for her meal. #just a honest foodie review.
Emma H — Google review
Terrible experience!! I came to this place after a long trip, my daughter and I were hungry. The place only had a couple of tables with customers. I had to call the waitress to serve us, there weren't several dishes on their menu, she told me that the food would be there in about an hour 😱. So, we wait!! They were dishes with bad seasoning, my daughter did not want to eat the Macaroni and Cheese even though it is her favorite dish, my dish was fried fish with a lot of fat and finally, very expensive!! 💰. I paid almost $40 dollars for both. There is better service and quality of food in Lima and/or Los Angeles. Jamaica is a place where they take advantage of tourists, and overcharge everything!!

Ocho Rios Bay Beach, located at the heart of Ocho Rios, is a popular destination known for its beautiful white sands and family-friendly atmosphere. The beach offers a range of activities such as banana boat rides, parasailing, tubing, and snorkeling equipment rentals. Visitors can also enjoy picnics under the shade of palm trees and dine at nearby restaurants like Reggae Kitchen and Lounge.
I m marine engineer and i have been 98 countries yet. When i visited ocho rios bay beach, they asked me to entrance fee. Its so strange, i am not going to use any beach services just i want to take some pictures and share to my friends . Why should i pay entrance fee?

Walked here from cruise terminal (had to walk past SO many people trying to sell you stuff/taxi/excursions). But once past the large group, you walk a little through town to get to the beach. Probably took us 10-15 min. You can rent beach chairs and umbrellas for pretty cheap ($5-10/chair and $5-10/umbrella or something like that plus have to pay $10 entrance fee). Water was warm and beautiful!
Laura R — Google review
Crystal Blue waters with a clean white sandy beach. Went here for a church trip with some friends on a very busy Saturday, as there were numerous trip buses in the parking lot. There was a bit of a wait to get in, but we eventually got our armbands and got ourselves settled. Even though the venue had a lot of people, there was still enough room to spread out and find an open spot in the water for yourself. My group rented a cabana for the day for about JMD$5200 (USD$32) so that we were able to have a comfy spot to rest our heads and bags; the attendant cleaned it up for us before use, but took ages to give us our receipt, so there was a bit of a mix-up at one point, but that was quickly settled. There were loads of activities to do as there were persons advertising various water adventures you could take part in, like taking photos on a glass boat or water tubing for the adrenaline junkies ☺️ If you wish to take part in these activities, ensure you have extra cash on hand, as they don't take cards to my knowledge. Food is easily accessible once you have on your armband, as you can go off property to purchase food such as KFC, Burger King etc or from any of the local cookshops. The changing rooms as expected were a bit mucky as it's where everyone changed, so it had a slight smell of pee and wet sand on the floor. Just try and balance on your shoes to ensure that doesn't catch your good clothes. There are showers available on both the beach and near the changing rooms. I did not check the bathroom facilities as I used the one over at KFC. It's a fun day and a relaxing day to be had by all, especially if you're there with good friends.

Very popular beach for everyone. You have to pay to go on to this beach as well as your chairs. It’s a crime that you should have to pay to go on a beach in Jamaica! We had a lovely afternoon there, but the fact that we had to pay just didn’t sit well with me.

Starbucks is a popular coffeehouse chain originating from Seattle, offering a variety of signature roasts, light bites, and WiFi access. Whether you're in Ocho Rios or New York, you can find your favorite hot and cold brews along with delicious sweet treats at Starbucks. Customers often praise the friendly staff and clean facilities at various locations.
I visited this Starbucks every morning during my stay in Ocho Rios! The staff were always super friendly and I was staying right across the street, so I would show up as soon as they opened and let me tell you, it is so calm to sit here early morning and enjoy the view! They have a small seating area inside and a few chairs and benches outside. I also recommend the Jerk chicken bagel and jerk chicken wrap!!! So good!

Loved everything about it. It was my second time visiting and the cashier was super helpful. He made suggestions for what I could get and I was not disappointed. The staff members were engaging and quite pleasant.

The workers here are very very rude … I ordered a vanilla chai tea latte I received my tea with out vanilla when I asked the worker for a pump of vanilla I was told Chai does not come with vanilla … when I advised that this is what I paid and ordered… instead of remaking my drink as I know Starbucks does he just pumped it into one of the doggie cups and put it down and walked away had to insist that he remake my drink and he had the worst attitude . I will never come back here… the location in Drax hall has excellent customer service this location is disappointing disgusting and disrespectful I give it 10 thumbs down!!!!!

Phenomenal location and ambiance. Very cozy on the beach and its usually empty, great outdoor music playing as well as seating inside and outside. Free wifi is a bonus.. As for the coffee/food.... average and over priced sugary milk..they were out of all syrups and flavors that day...

The locals operating the store are friendly and amazing. Headoffice feels it can rip of traveller's far from home. Their venti chai latte is so watered down it might as wellbe flavored water. The poor staff when confronted say that that is always how they make it. I had been looking forward to a taste of home and we'll not that again.. So I asked for more milk the second time around and they added a bit more made it better which i appreciate, but I wouldn't expect the staff to get in trouble over it.

Cash big up yuself girl… a hope Starbucks give you a raise. because your customer service is top tier. Group of 10, we had several dishes, a few alcoholic drinks. 2 lobsters, 2 esco fish, 2 steamed fish, 2 salmons and 2 pastas. Drinks 0/10. Couldnt get vodka and club soda right… Only meal I might recommend would be the Salmon which was 6/10. No pic of Salmon as he received his meal last 2hrs and 30mins… I have never seen burnt Escovitch fish in Jamaica before but i guess there is a first for everything. (Presentation was 2/10. Only 1 pic of the lobster because everything else was disappointing) Server was understanding when we told him that we didn't like the food. He said we should have told him it was bad at the time but we had already waited 2 hours for the food so we weren’t waiting anymore. Hope they improve. Recommend more servers, chef.

If you're seeking an authentic Indian culinary experience while in Ocho Rios, look no further than Passage to India. Nestled upstairs at Soni Plaza and conveniently located near the Fisherman's Point Resort and Ocho Rios Pier, this charming restaurant invites you to indulge in a diverse array of traditional dishes that capture the essence of North India's vibrant flavors. From succulent chicken tikka to fragrant lamb biryani, each meal is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a delightful dining adventure.
Had an amazing dining experience in Ocho Rios! Not only was the food incredible, but the views were absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the coastline. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, and the naan was soft and buttery—just perfect! We also loved the crispy samosas, which were packed with flavor, and the mango lassi was a refreshing finish to our meal. With its cozy ambiance, friendly staff, authentic flavors, and stunning Ocho Rios setting, this place is a must-visit! 🌟 Highly recommend it!

During our visit to the restaurant with our 4- and 5-year-old children, we were met with a server who had a noticeably bad attitude and seemed reluctant to serve us. After ordering appetizers, we waited for 20 minutes only to be informed that some of the items were out of stock. Frustrated by the poor service and lack of communication, we decided to leave without having any food. The absentee owner and management clearly do not prioritize customer service or the restaurant's success.

While visiting Ocho Rios recently, I decided to try Passage to India, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip! The food was absolutely incredible. I had butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, and biryani, and every single dish was packed with authentic flavors. The naan bread was fresh and soft, perfect for scooping up the rich, flavorful curries. You can really tell the care and quality that goes into the cooking here. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting.

visited Passage to India while my cruise ship stopped in Ocho Rios, and I’m so glad I did! The food was absolutely incredible. I tried a few dishes, and everything was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The butter chicken was so creamy and delicious, and the naan was fresh and soft—just perfect for scooping up the sauce. The lamb vindaloo had a great balance of spice, and the biryani was packed with flavor and tender meat. The staff were super friendly and made me feel really welcome, which added to the whole experience. If you’re ever in Ocho Rios, especially if you’re on a cruise like I was, I’d definitely recommend stopping here. The food alone is worth it!

The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and a pleasant laid back vibe. The menu contains traditional Indian dishes including a large selection of vegetarian items. I had a vegetarian korma and aloo gobi. I also ordered a raita to complement my spicy meal. All of the food was fresh and tasty. The service staff was courteous and efficient. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who enjoy Indian/South Asian cuisine.

Stunning views! You can sit right by the water when you eat. The menu is huge, and everything we ordered was tasty - all came out piping hot as it was just freshly prepared. The food was also served in a timely manner and the portions were huge!! The butter chicken, goan shrimp, cheese and garlic and were my favorites but honestly it’s one of those places you can order anything and you’ll be satisfied! Chefs are clearly talented and there are apparently 2 - one for Indian dishes and another for Jamaican. We only ordered Indian this time and it’s the best Indian food I’ve had in a while - really exceed my expectations in all areas. Shoutout to Michaela who served us and was wonderful as well always checking to see if we’re ok or needed anything. One of the highlights for me in Ocho rios - if you’re in town and hungry, make sure to make a stop here!

we ordered 3 types of Biryanis all the Biryanis are worst no salt no spice only rose water/kewda water taste. veg sheek kebab is not all good not cooked properly. sweet corn soup was not cooked properly. Paneer butter masala was just a tomotobpaste after an hour me and my family got stomach upset. seems like food was not freshly cooked.. 3 people are suffering for eating the food here. hotel management should over see the cooking quality once it's a mistake to eat food here. 70% food was wasted and wasted 103USD for bill payment

It was a lovely experience. The food was awesome. The drinks were top teir. The different flavors hit my taste buds in phases. The nan, was delicious. Not to mention the quietness in the night looking at the boats on the sea, the night view was good. I want to big up the waitress on Thursday night of this week, she was so nice. It was a first time here and the experience was great. I will definitely return. 😍 Thank you for the experience Passage to India.

Delicious restaurant, had the best food and smoothies I had in my time in Jamaica. And they were quick about the food, freshly cooked, and reasonably priced. Must come here!

A True I-Tal Gem in Ocho Rios I ate at Calabash Restaurant twice during my stay in Ocho Rios, and I can honestly say it's the *best cook shop in the area*. This place is more than just food—it's a whole vibe. The meals were delicious and nourishing. I tried the tofu, rice and peas, ackee, broad beans, boiled food, a banana porridge that hit just right, and an incredible black bean burger. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and clearly made with love. You can tell they cook with intention and care about what they’re serving. Beyond the amazing I-tal food, Calabash is a cultural experience. The space is filled with beautiful art, conscious books, natural soaps, and handmade accessories. You feel like you're part of something more when you're there—connected to community, wellness, and creativity. They also make smoothies, which were refreshing and packed with flavor—perfect for the Ocho Rios heat. Whether you're vegan, plant-based, or just looking for clean, soulful food, Calabash is a must-visit. It's a place that feeds your body and your spirit.

If you’re in Ocho Rios, you must try the amazing Ital food here. The staff is exceptionally kind and helpful, and the prices are very fair considering the quality and quantity you receive. Plus, they offer a gift shop and bookstore filled with intriguing items that are worth checking out.

Went there for lunch, and it was practically empty. Order a few large meals and burgers. The chickpea burger was the best. The curry chunks had too munch of pungent curry for our taste. The string beans and tofu rundown were good. The portion size for the large meal is sumptuous. For vegetarians, this is a good place. The service is quick. They serve no alcohol. The smoothies were good.

Ok let me tell you... who knew Jamaican vegan food is this good?? We wanted to try something different (aka not KFC) so we made the extra walk to this restaurant and ordered sandwiches and ice cream. OMG so good, wow, this food is good! I totally recommend, and I'm not even vegan!

I ordered two different sets of tacos. All of them had undercooked chickpeas, which were hard and crunchy. I originally ordered coconut waters to go with my meal, after ordering it took her almost 2 hrs to deliver to me. In that time period she sold my coconut waters and called back to swap my order to various teas. $40 USD down the drain. I contacted her about this and I've been ignored.

Day 2

Northwest side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the northwest side side of town. Start the day off with Mystic Mountain, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to The Turtle River Falls & Gardens (formerly The Enchanted Gardens). All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Theme park
Mystic Mountain, located in the lush rainforest of Ocho Rios, is a nature theme park that offers a variety of family-friendly adventure rides and activities. Spanning over 100 acres, this park takes visitors from the seaside to the summit of the mountain at 700 feet above sea level. The attractions include zip lining, bobsledding, birdwatching, water slides, and a chairlift canopy ride with stunning views of the surrounding jungle.
I would rate Mystic Mountain an 8/10. One downside is the lines, which understandably is long for any amusement park. We came on a sunday around 2-3pm and it was about an 1hr+ wait for one ride. They also don’t have a lot of rides/activities and the ticket price is kind of pricey for the amount of rides they offer. We paid $140 USD and couldn’t really go on the rides multiple times because of the long lines. Aside from that, the rides are fun especially the Bobsled. The Sky Explorer was nice and relaxing (unless you’re afraid of heights 😅). And the scenery is beautiful.

Mixed review. Loved the place, loved the activities. Did not like the sense of urgency. Based on my experience, do not book back to back excursions if going here. Meaning, if you wanted to go to Mystic Mountain and then want to go to another place, you may be at risk. The staff is not on your time!! Based on my experience, I recommend a full day at Mystic Mountain. There is a lot to do there. Pool, rope climb, rock wall, bob sled and zip line. The time given doesn't make sense. We had an 11Am ticket time. We got to the park before 11 am. After the ride up to the mountain, we found out the next available time for the zip line was 1:30 PM. We didn't get on the Zipline until 2:15 PM as the staff was waiting on the gear to get back to the starting point. Totally unorganized. Once on the Zipline however, things were smooth and it was a great time. There are multiple ziplines to take you back down the mountain. If you plan on leaving, the staff will send your bags ahead of you. Once done with the zip line, you can simply leave. I thought that was a cool service. The rope course and bobsled were also great

This place was lovely. The zip line instructors were so funny and supportive. Had a great time, the view is beautiful, but pizza not good. The bobsled was great, I love that you can control the speed.

We had a phenominal time and can't recommend the park highly enough. From booking stage to transfers there and back to our hotel, the whole process was very smooth. Staff were very friendly and safety was definitely a priority. We visited early in the morning, which was great as it was quiet and not too hot. It's on my to-do-list as soon as I can get back to Jamaica. Well done to all, my husband and I had a wonderful time.

Mystic Mountain Guest Experience Review The overall visit to Mystic Mountain yielded a mixed experience. We would like to commend the operational staff assigned to the rides for their outstanding friendliness and accommodation; their professionalism significantly elevated the quality of our time on those attractions. However, the standards of service were inconsistent across the park, particularly within the food court where a lack of attentiveness was observed. Furthermore, the inability of the food and beverage service to manage inventory, resulting in items being completely unavailable during a high-volume holiday weekend, represents a critical logistical oversight that negatively impacted the guest experience. The most pressing issue is a need for greater transparency in operational status. Guests must be notified of significant closures, such as non-operational rides, weather-related shutdowns, and critically, the closure of the Sky Explorer (tram). Since the tram is a primary draw for many visitors, its non-operational status must be communicated clearly prior to ticket purchase, not discovered upon arrival. Given the loss of a major facility and the operational issues encountered, we believe a form of compensation or credit is warranted. In summary, Mystic Mountain possesses considerable potential as a destination when all facilities are functional and weather permits. Addressing the systemic issues related to logistics and customer information transparency is essential to ensure guest expectations are consistently met.

Mystic Mountain was nothing short of Adventure. Two friends and I went on a Tuesday and were able to zip line, go on the raggamuffin, have lunch, and bobsled twice! The gondola up and down truly transports you into a haven of pure FUN! 10/10 day for the girls!

There's places to choose to dine and eat here if you would like, Infinity pool and plenty of activities to do once you get to the top of Mystic...the longest wait is i believe the bobsled ride, arrive early if you would like to enjoy all activities and go more than one round

We had fun here. Really enjoyed the meal and the bobsleigh. The entry fee was far to expensive for what you get. 70 US dollars basic entry fee which includes 4 activities. You don't get to choose the 4 so we only did 2 outa 4 and then paid an extra 20 US dollars for the bobsleigh.

Swim with Dolphins
Dolphin Cove Ocho Rios is a must-visit marine attraction in the Caribbean, offering the unique opportunity to swim with dolphins in their natural habitat. Located near Ocho Rios and Dunns River Falls, this attraction allows visitors to interact with sharks, swim with stingrays, and enjoy activities like glass bottom kayaking and relaxing on the beach.
Dolphin Cove was such a great experience for my little family. We had an exception time sharing an encounter with the dolphins. Trainer Ronaldo and Dolphin Pasteur were absolutely amazing!! I cannot recommend this pair enough. They made my family's day. We also got to swim, get some food and see Stingrays and Nurse Sharks. I wish we could have walked the trail before we had to leave. Would definitely do this experience again.
Alexis B — Google review
The overall experience with the dolphins was great and the trainers were awesome. The setup of the entire premises was great I think It needs a little more polish. You have to park on the roadside but the shoulder on that side of the road was very wide so you are well off the road. The staff were all very nice and friendly. We had a good time at the mini zoo before the dolphin experience. There was a small beach where you could do kayaking, but the beach was very small and wasn't clean and I think given the facilities they had the beach could be made into a better experience. There seemed to be multiple restaurants and bars but they didn't all seem to be open when we were there. The water slide was not working at the time when were there. The pool seemed like it could have been cleaner and it looked like only 1 pump on the pool was working. The children seemed to love the pool though. The rates for the photos was high and I think the all or nothing approach to the photos needs to be looked at. They could possibly come up with a per photo pricing and allow you to choose the best 1 or 2 if you can't afford all the photos for everyone similar to what they do at mystic mountain. The food was a little on the expensive side and the burger and fries was very ordinary for the price. The did have a lunch special though for JMD $1300 which was actually very good and it was a decent portion size.

The dolphin experience was unforgettable...definitely would go back. Love that they had other activities on the property...my only concern was the slippery tiles. The tiles in the restaurant was slippery, the ones leading to the lobby area, to the bathroom. Everyone kept slipping. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT. But overall my family enjoyed the experience.
Sibrina J — Google review
This was my second visit to Dolphin Cove, and I can see they've made a lot of improvements since my first visit many years ago. The place is very scenic, and the dolphin experience is absolutely top tier. It was a bit scary walking on the platform and getting into the water, but overall, it was an incredible interaction. That said, the staff experience left much to be desired. Almost all of the workers were not pleasant. There was an undertone in their attitude and a bit of roughness in how they spoke to guests. One staff member even told the man in front of me that she would laugh if he fell, and she repeatedly told people to turn back if they were afraid instead of reassuring them that they would be okay and that their life jackets would help. The platform in the water was also very slippery, which made it even more nerve-wracking. Despite that, I’m really glad my nieces pushed through their fear and went into the water. The pool area is lovely and provides a nice space for children to relax and play under supervision. They also have a restaurant and an ice cream parlor, though I didn't visit them. In the bird aviary, the men working there seemed uninterested and disengaged. I hate to think their attitude was due to us being locals, as I know many don’t tip, though I did. The lobby area was crowded and poorly managed, and again, the staff at registration were not welcoming. The beach area is very small, but the waterslide was lovely and fun. Despite the poor attitude from many of the staff, I would return for the experience itself and the beautiful surroundings.
Shantel M — Google review
The dolphin interaction was fun and fairly priced compared to other Caribbean locations. However, the extras were excessive $230 for photos for a family of 4 (no phones/cameras allowed), $10 locker fee, $5 Coke ($10 with card), and only one lunch option included wasn’t even good. The water slide was closed, and the jungle trail consisted of just 8 parrots and 1 iguana. The music was also unnecessarily blasting for a kid-friendly park, especially right by the dolphins. To top it off, after paying for the pricey photo package, the photographer still asked for a tip. Disappointing add-ons to an otherwise enjoyable activity.
Carla B — Google review
Very poor experience. Booked via Royalton/Nexus. Advertised to include. Snorkeling with manta rays, jungle tour see the snakes, kayak, glass bottom boat and shark show. None of this was available on the day. Arrived told to wait around for 2 hours. $10 to use a locker. Very clear you must have one as theft if very likely. 30 mins with as a group with dolphins. (That bit is great) But can't help feeling the site is so small for them! Add in the high pressure photo sale at $60each. Zero response from Royalton/Nexus. A mega let down, left feeling abused by the service. Loved my holiday but this really did ruin the day

Horrible experience save your money this is a tourist trap. The staff is rude, misgendered my 5 year old son after being told multiple times he was a boy. I understand patwa so I heard the negative comments about my son and my body. They will try to squeeze every single penny you have out of you. I originally booked for the admissions plus for two adults and one child under 5. That was $137 total plus tax. It said online it included the mini jungle, sting ray , beach , water slide , kayaking, and food We received a purple wristband, we continued on to the gift shop the lady looked at us and her exact words were “ ok so you got that band ? The cheaper one. “ she then tried to sale me three pictures with the dolphin on a platform for $20 dollars each. It’s three of us that’s $60 dollars. I asked can we just take one family photo i didn’t need three pictures of us individually I just wanted one family picture she said no. I told my husband If we’re going to add the $60 dollars for three pictures we might as well just pay for the dolphin encounter. We went back downstairs and upgraded our tickets. My husband has a Jamaican passport, he presented his passport and he did not receive the local rate btw. I was told it would be $18 per person to upgrade the ticket to the dolphin encounter that’s a pink band. I paid $18x3 which I didn’t understand why I had to pay to upgrade my child who is under 5 when 1-5 years old is free with two paying adults Anyways. I was then told it would be $65 per person to add on photos and these photos are only digital no print outs. So we paid $195 for 3 shots per person. When your in the water you do three poses and they snap a shot of all three so your paying $65 for 3 digital shots. Which is ridiculous When you do the dolphin encounter they split you off into groups based off your wristbands. If you purchase the royal swimmer band they treat you like gold. Or if you’re white they treat you even better because they know you are going to tip them. We paid a total of $386 dollars for about 15 mins in the water with the dolphin. It was very rushed you do three poses with the dolphin and they give you education of the dolphin. And at the end of your experience our instructor asked for a tip. Which I was confused because after paying $386 dollars you shouldn’t be pressured to tip. We went to the mini jungle we saw two rabbits , the birds and an iguana. I was told if my son wanted to touch the birds or if we wanted to take a picture of the birds we had to tip. When we went to see the iguana and the bigger birds the instructor was sleep on the bench we woke him up and he told us if my son wanted to hold the iguana or if we wanted a picture with it we had to tip. At this point I was annoyed because everywhere we went we were pressured for tips after already paying a lot. The stingrays were cool but again after seeing the stingrays our instructor asked for a tip. Sharks weren’t available Kayaking wasn’t available The small beach has cabanas that were dirty. We arrived at 9am opening time so the beach should have been cleaned. The beach is also big rocks so you can’t step in. The meal Included was a piece of chicken rice and peas and veggies no drink. When I asked for my included drink the bartender told me I would have to hide it so others don’t ask. Just an overall horrible experience and complete waste of money. Mystic Mountain was wayyyy better you aren’t pressured for tips staff are friendly and will take pictures of you with your phone for free. I tried to take photos of the tip trays The manager was also not available either.

Italian restaurant
Evitas is a charming Italian restaurant located in an authentic 1860s gingerbread house in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The restaurant is known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, as well as its fusion of traditional Italian dishes with Jamaican flavors.
The most beautiful views and delicious food. We only stayed in town for two nights and came here both nights! Great prices! Come before sunset. This is a must while in the area. The service is Jamaican but they warm up. We are vegetarian and loved the country man pasta and the lasagna. Yum yum yum. Thank you!

I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday. This was my first time here. And honestly, the pictures online are way better than all the place actually looks in person. I love the entrance. It's a nice picture spot. I see that they are going for rustic look, but you can be rustic in a little bit more of a modern way. The furniture needs retouching the boards, need repainting, etc. However, the food was good. The chicken Parmesan was top-tier. And the Alfredo is amazing. The salad with the balsamic vinaigrette dressing is not the best It has a little bit of an acquired taste. The cocktails were OK. They could've been more alcoholic. I could barely taste the alcohol in there. This place has a lot of potential. I hope it does better structure wise.

I went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. The view was beautiful and the service was good. I just thought my portion of food was too small. I didn't feel full or like I got my money's worth. The cocktails are delightful though. It's pricey but he food did taste delicious. I loved the cheesecake as well.

It's fallen a little from where it used to be. However, it's still an easy recommendation and really nice. The intentional rustic look is also very unique and almost makes it feel like a heritage site. Food is also still exceptional.

The experience at this location was satisfying for my mind, body, and soul. It was an experience that was tranquil, inviting, and just overall comfortable, especially with the done to order food they have available. The pricing was excellent, coupled with the excellent customer service that involved individual briefing us about the menu overall so I could make the perfect choice for my taste bids. The three course meal was yummy, right down to the last drop, and the warm plate kept my meal at the right temperature, which was so welcoming to my taste bids... I will be resisting cause the experience was unforgettable and special caused my girl enjoyed her birthday...

Food was great and the customer service was great. We opted for the pasta dishes and we were quite pleased. Serving size is perfect (not too little, not too much) and we got our money's worth. My drawback of this restaurant is that the seatings are too close for comfort. It's obvious there is a need for renovations and improvents. If the business does that, please keep the rustic, homey feeling as that's what makes the restaurant stands out. Overall great experience.

Stick with the pastas … those are the best things on the menu and the octopus was really good. Drinks - 9 Pastas -10 Ambiance- 7 need updating (love the rustic feel needs lighting and remodeling) Service - 9.6 I was eating clean and ordered the fish (it was just ok) so I wouldn’t score them down as an Italian restaurant. I also tried the pastas and they were really good.

Nestled in the heart of Ocho Rios, Jamaica, The Turtle River Falls & Gardens (formerly The Enchanted Gardens) is a tropical eco-attraction that offers lush gardens, cascading waterfalls, and exotic wildlife. This 15-acre hillside paradise features 14 cascading waterfalls along the Turtle River, providing visitors with the option to climb or walk alongside on steps for a secure ascent.
The place couldn't stay open during COVID, so it has turned into this beautiful, modern day, post-apocalyptic takeover of nature. Super inspiring for artsy types, like me. Also, very chill and a nice place to go for a quiet walk. Learning that the grounds keeper has worked there for 18 years and see the place become what it is now is a bit saddening. As much as i love the post-apocalypse vibes, I do hope somebody buys the place to breathe some more life into it.

It was a little unclear from other reviews whether this place is actually “open”. As of January 2025, the answer is “not really.” We were in Ocho Rios on a cruise ship stop and I was interested in checking this out. We encountered a gentleman who said he was a tour guide and offered to take us on a tour of the falls, so we followed him up the steep hill to the entrance. There we met another guy who may be the person other reviews refer to as the caretaker. Between the two of them they decided how much to charge us for a tour. The first guy wanted to charge $20 a person. We negotiated down to $10 and $5 probably would have been more appropriate. We decided to do it, just because it was different and an adventure. The tour itself only took about 15 minutes. The place was apparently hit by a hurricane a few years ago and nothing has been rebuilt or cleaned up. There are trees down across the trails and stairs. After we got a little ways up the trail, the river has been diverted by fallen trees and is running down the stairs. We weren’t wearing water shoes so we didn’t go any further. Bottom line, this place is kind of interesting to visit, but know that it is essentially abandoned and the “tours” are being offered by squatters.

I visited Turtle River Falls in 2018 and it was very nice and well taken care of. I visited again recently and the place was abandoned and unkept. A man walked up to us and said he worked there, but had no uniform or anything to indicate that he was an employee. He charged us to enter the place but I think he kept the money for himself. We went through all the falls and it was not the same as before. I would not recommend visiting here. However, the falls are naturally beautiful. Go visit Dunn’s River Falls or Konoko Falls for a real and great experience. I visited both while in town and they were amazing!

Not officially open, the place was closed in covid 19 times and had not been looked after. Buildings derelict. However Jerome, security on the gate took us round and we went in the waterfalls. Spent a couple of hours there. Wonderful water, amazing jungle plants, I hope it gets a revamp and reopens.

I've been here as a child when it was called Carinosa...lots of ownership changeovers but the experience is just like I remembered it a child. Great place for family fun. They also have a pool that's kid-friendly. Needs a bit more work since the new management, they don't take card cash only and that caused a bit of an issue. There was no guide at the time but you can explore the falls on your own. Overall great experience glad my kids got to experience what I did.... 💖

Great experience and this is my second time. Huge property, great for social distancing while leisurely enjoying yourself in this time. Great content for content creators, great for families, couples, friends and all out nature lovers. Take food as the restaurant is currently closed or call and find out beforehand. There's an aviary so if you love birds, this is for you as well.

There is a bird sanctuary with tour guide. Guided tour of the property. I lost count but I think there are over 10 water falls on the property. Lots of covered areas to avoid the sun but still have a wonderful view. Just visit you will love it.

The drinks were delicious. The mackerel is way too salty. I couldn't finish my meal. I had to drink two glasses of water to dilute the sodium I just put in my body. My mom and dad had ackee and saltfish. That was good. The food took almost a hour to come out. Don't go there super hungry.

It's a great place to chill and unwind. The customer service was good. It's a bit expensive but it's because of the location. The food was delicious, I ordered Reggae Grill chicken wrap ( I don't quite remember the correct name :) ) and my Fiancé ordered Escoveitch fish, the pickle was amazing.

Enjoyed my chicken liver breakfast this morning, best part was the price. This resteraunt provides a very spacious and clean environment... ideal location. Vacation or just passing through the town. This is the place to be.

Food was good, service was slow and nonchalant. Based on the fact that the prices were all in US, and the ambiance was very attractive, one would safely assume quality service. The look and feel of the environment is the biggest selling point, service is average at best and food was good.

Experience was great. Service was good. The food was delicious. We all enjoyed. It was my birthday.

Not worth the hype in my opinion!! I ordered a steamed fish and it was basic and just “okay”. I didn’t get the Jamaican flavors that I was expecting, the vegetables could have been cooked more too. Charging ppl $5,000 for a fish and it not being outstanding is crazy!! The servers are very slow. There wasn’t a lot of ppl when I went and yet they were slow to take orders and bring out the food, etc. Dave, do better for all the hype and money you charge!!

It’s hard for me to rate places in my homeland low, but I had high expectations for this spot and it turned out to be a bit of a disappointment. First of all, we waited a very long time for our food, and there wasn’t a crowd there. When the food finally arrived, the conch was not fresh at all, and the lobster had no flavor. It was supposed to be garlic butter, but there was hardly any garlic or butter on it. The service itself was decent, and the atmosphere is beautiful since it’s right by the water and a very popular spot. Many celebrities even visit. However, I think they could do much better with the food, and I truly hope they improve.

Food was delicious, drinks were tasty and the customer service was great. It was one person working but I didn’t even realize. She did a great job (girl with the red hair). I recommend the steamed fish and the fried bammy. The bammy seemed like it was soaking in coconut milk for days, one of the best bammy I’ve ever had tbh.
Yanique W — Google review
I must share my great disappointment with this restaurant. The food was extremely horrible, it was served cold and the soup was even worse. Needless to say I will not return and hope that ownership will make the necessary adjustments to improve the quality of the food and service. However, the bartender did make some really impressive cocktails. He deserves a raise. Apart from that it was a waste of money and my time.

This is my experience dining at your location, as I believe feedback is important for improving service and guest satisfaction. Upon arriving, there was no one available to seat us, and we waited about 7 minutes before choosing a spot ourselves. The service, unfortunately, didn’t improve from there. Our server didn’t greet us properly, and it took some time before we were provided with menus. When it was time to order, we were asked to place all of our orders at once, even though we were still deciding on the entree. This led to some confusion, and we felt rushed to make our decisions. Once the food arrived, we noticed the pasta was dried out, likely from being under a heat lamp for too long. Additionally, we were told that our sides were forgotten, and we had to remind the server to bring them. We also ordered two blended virgin fruit punches to accompany the meal and a bottle of water, but the server didn’t check in with us again after bringing the food. I had to get up and get the water myself, and we ended up canceling the fruit punches. It’s clear that there were issues and lapses in attention to detail. While I understand that things can get busy, it’s important to ensure that customers receive the service they expect, especially when paying for a meal. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration so that future customers can have a better experience but this is my only time there. P.S. it was only two of us and we drove a far way

Heard a lot of good things but was very disappointed. Lacking many menu options, including some staples. The meal I did get wasnt great. Poor quality fish and the festivals were the worst I've ever had (granted, they were removed from the bill). Really expensive for not a great experience overall. Could not, in good faith, recommend this place to anyone. Avoid.
Manicprime — Google review
The scenery was great, right along the shore looking into the sea. The food was great, it tastes really good. My issues are that with the fried chicken, it was fried too much, so it was on the dry side, and there was no sauce to compliment the dryness. The wait time for receiving our order was crazy. I had to wait 45 minutes to 1 hour for fried chicken with rice and peas plus oxtail and fried shrimp with rice and peas. In addition, I was going to order wings for appetizers, but none was available. I ordered a side of ripe plantains and fried breadfruit, and none were available. I then ordered green plantains, which weren't ready until I had already finished my meal. Overall, somewhat of a good experience, the staff was great. Just need to work on the wait time and the availability of items.

Nice little spot in a central area. Venue a good size with plenty of seating and of course a bar. Food quality was good and they offer a good range on their menu. Prices are also very reasonable. Wkll definitely be one of our regulars when in the area.

Very accessible spot to grab a quick bite whilst in Ocho Rios. Service is efficient when it’s not too crowded. The food is average but is very fresh and consistent. The prices are also good for the portions. I tend to stop here on my trips.
TAMARA F — Google review
My partner and I had lunch at Ocho Rios Jerk Centre on Sunday, October 5, 2025, and I can honestly say it was one of the most disappointing meals I’ve ever had in Ocho Rios. The place itself looked nice — clean space, good music, and friendly staff — so I really thought we were in for a great experience. But as soon as the food came, everything went downhill. I ordered jerk pork with bammy, and it was dry, trashy, and had a strange tuna-like taste that completely turned me off. It didn’t taste like jerk pork at all. My partner’s shrimp pasta had no sauce, no flavor, and looked like something rushed together without care. We only ordered one Carib Splash and a water, yet the total came up to around $8,000. My meal was $2,100 and his was $4,000, and there’s absolutely no way that meal was worth that kind of money. The portions were small, the food was bland, and the overall quality was just awful. I left feeling upset and cheated, especially because this place has such a good reputation. If you’re thinking about going — don’t waste your money or your appetite. There are so many better spots in Ocho Rios where you can actually get fresh, flavorful food and value for your money.

Our server Shenelle was so wonderful. She met us as soon as we walked in and gave us the option to choose where we'd sit. While waiting for our food she updated us on the wait time that was very accurate. The food was delicious. I had the best jerk chicken I've ever had there. I also tried the jerk fish and BBQ wings and they were absolutely delicious. I am looking forward to my next visit.

My brother and I took our aunt and her daughter to this establishment while we were in the area. I decided to try the Jerk Chicken and festival, accompanied by a bottle of Red Stripe beer. The rest of the family chose different options from the menu. I truly enjoyed my meal, although the portions were a bit on the smaller side. Despite having driven past multiple times, I had no idea this place existed! I’m grateful to my brother for introducing me to this delightful restaurant. The staff were friendly, and the parking situation was convenient with a relatively large car park, so finding a space was not a problem.
Raymond B — Google review
Expensive but the food is decent. Skip the jerk sausage it's not what you expect, but, the chicken, pork and sides are on point. If you don't want to drive for 15 minutes it's the nicest around.

Turtle Beach, located in Ocho Rios, is a popular destination known for its clear waters and diverse marine life. It's a favorite spot for snorkeling and scuba diving due to the opportunity to explore vibrant coral reefs and swim alongside tropical fish. The beach's calm, shallow waters also make it ideal for families with young children.
It’s an apartment on the 1st floor, ie. apartment 31 B it’s well kept and is designed to be spacious considering the size. It’s clean and airy with air conditioning and overhead fan! The bathroom is immaculate and modern! The bedroom is great with large closet space and a very comfortable king size bed! I could go on and on but seeing is believing as we say! I recommend this to anyone who wants to be in Ocho Rios but out of the hustle and bustle, the icing on the cake is that the beach is right there🇯🇲👍🏿

Stayed in a airbnb in here the apartment was nice owner friendly. Unfortunately the staff on the complex are absolutely diabolical especially MRS WILLIAMS! The so called manager. How this woman got this job is beyond me.No customer service skills or manners. She needs to be re-trained and educated on how to deal with people, Updating staff and residents with issues and TO FIX HER SOUR FACE. Continuing to eat her cereal in my face as I'm explaining there's no water in my building and her telling me it's not her problem as she can't gain access to the problem is not good service!! Security also need to have some basic manners. They forget they're dealing with foreigners. If we say morning to you say it back. Get off your phone when were asking you basic questions you should know as security! Singing Christian music while im waiting for response is ridiculous. Most helpful people on that site where the maintenance man he's the only person to offer to help me get water to my property and actually answer me on basic questions which the others that have been paid double what he's been paid could have answered! would stay again through gritted teeth only because of the location of the place. Tip 1 make sure to get your free beach passes from Tower 4 or else they would not allow you on the beach and will try to charge you ridiculous US dollors. Tip 2 margaritaville is now cut in half you can use this premises but the beach is much better. The pool was SLOWLY being renovated as leaving. Tip 3 There is a tiny shop on bottom Tower 3 if you run out of Urgent item's also washing machine. Tip 4 go into the hotel next door, sandcastle, for food on the first floor the best breakfast, and food with proper polite lovely staff. Loads to eat and do in area don't be scared to walk explore lots of friendly patrol people outside complex.

If the AC was in both front AND bedroom this would have been a 5 star stay. You can tell that the entire building is older and at one point this MUST'VE BEEN LUXURIOUS. The views and location are worth it still today.

I visited family here, it was a decent rental but I absolutely hate the balcony, which is not safe at all especially for an adventurous 6 year old. Very good for location next to the strip and free access to Turtle Beach.

BEWARE! When checking into this hotel it's important to know that you will be checking in at the guard gate - where the Guard on duty will ask you then broadcast information about which Building you'll staying at and your Room Number so that everyone at the entrance of the parking lot, everyone in the parking lot and street and of course everyone in the vehicle with you will know exactly where you'll be staying. I ended up not even going inside the building because I was so fearful. The guard was adamant that I give him that information before he would open the gate. Had I known that I would NEVER have made reservations. Also be aware that you will not get a refund. This is a no refund policy reservation - however, if people knew what awaited them they would not make a reservation. I'm now staying at another Airbnb where I feel safe. Thankful someone in the vehicle with me is a Host there. Her Airbnb will be getting great reviews.

The Flat is lovely. The security staff are kind and wonderful people. I marked down as the music at night from the surrounding bars is ridiculous 😔. Everyday from 10pm until 4am in the morning. If you are not clubbing every night you will definitely need noise cancelling headphones.

My host Mr. Leary provided me with world class service. He was very attentive and caring. Apartment 36F was beyond my expectations. This place was so much fun. There are three falls to jump from. There is a guy that takes shoes for all the falls to keep you safe. You also wear a life preserver , so you can float. I what's the person that chose not to jump? But to be the cheerleader. Haha

I loved it there, from the scenery when driving in, the pool, the different falls, the nature trail, the aviary (we got to feed the birds) it was beautiful. The changing rooms need to be renovated as some doors couldn't close and there were no lights in some. Other that that issue the place was pretty cool.
Rashell W — Google review
I loved the park as it's a little calm getaway in the middle of a busy town and it's very serene and lush. My only dismay is that the water fountain in the middle doesn't work. Otherwise lovely venue. The fish and turtle ponds are the main staple of this par and I loved seeing the turtles surface for air and I tried to snap a few. The water is a bit murky so you have took really good to see them. I enjoyed it.

This is a beautiful nature park where you can take your family to relax and have a picnic and take some beautiful photos. My son was a bit disappointed because there was no pool or falls as we saw in the photos, basically nowhere to swim. There is no restaurant or gift shops. Just a little snack shop. We only saw one turtle in the pond and there is no bird sanctuary. My son was not too happy about that either. There is nothing exciting here. It's really just a nature park with mainly beautiful fishes swimming around in the ponds. If you are looking for somewhere fun to take your kids, go elsewhere.

It's a nice spacious place for family activities or just to take a stroll through. There's some Marine life in the center for a calming experience just to watch and appreciate. This time of year the park is lit up for the holidays and its quite lovely. The best curry goat I’ve had in my life! Every time I visit, the food never disappoints — it always hits the spot. I genuinely can't wait to come back in July. The flavors are incredible, and the curry goat is hands-down the best I've ever tasted. The only thing that could be improved is the service speed — it can be a little slow at times. But honestly, the food is worth the wait.

We went to John crows twice, the first time the food and service was exceptional especially the curry goat. The second night some of the food was cold and when I told the server she took it away and didn’t offer to replace or take the item off the bill. The service wasn’t great on the second evening. We went for late night drinks, the atmosphere was vibrant, great music/DJ the only downside was the service at the bar was slow and it took a while to get change after paying for drinks.

Had a great meal here. Although we were undercover, the waitress found space for us to move tables to inside as it was raining very hard so we appreciated that. Food was very tasty; the jerk chicken seasoning was not just on the skin, it went right through, which my daughter enjoyed. The fish sandwich was also really good.

It's been said good customer service in Jamaica is pretty much non existent & unfortunately that was my experience here at John Crows Tavern. There are no signs directing people they can sit where ever they like, which would be helpful to some. There was a mishap with the food I ordered and instead of the server saying anything along the lines of "per policy we don't exchange food orders " he wanted to go back and forth on what was said than what he heard. Which we sat next to speakers playing loud music, so he could have misheard me. I would have completely understood POLICY if that's what was said, but it wasn't. The drinks menu was confusing. The food I ordered was decent. Has a Great vibe even after noonish I'm sure nights are even better.

The wait staff is terrible, they ignore you and when you finally get their attention they’re rude. Our waitress was not seen for 30 Minutes, until she brought the food out. I asked her a few questions and she acted like she didn’t hear me. I said do you speak? She turned around and asked me, why? I said because you work in the service industry and you’re dealing with customers. It’s kind of important!🤪

I loved the food!!! It was a great atmosphere and I loved the music. The staff was good, for an American it's definitely different culturally, but I honestly enjoyed that aspect. This restaurant doesn't allow you to split the bill as their system doesn't allow it. You would think with the amount they charge they could afford a better payment system. The restaurant itself is nice and mainly caters to cruise ship tourists who stop in Jamaica for a limited time so they seemed to get priority service over non-cruise tourists which was acceptable to us given the circumstances. The food is nice but really expensive for what it is. The service was indifferent. It's pretty much the only restaurant in Ocho Rios so despite the above I'll probably be back.

I really enjoyed eating here. The outside seating really did it for me along with the costumer service. The presentation of the food was really good too. The food was not bad, but it lacked salt or some type of flavor. Three stars because it wasn't good but it wasn't bad either. I would come again and eat something else to try. It's the best Italian food I've had on the island. No piss poor customer service either (which to me is just as important as the food). Casual dining with a great atmosphere CLEAN!! BATHROOM, DINING, STAFF ALL CLEAN! It's an upstairs dining room facing the time shares across the street. Loved the palm trees that lined the bldg. The fans were on and they worked. No gnats no flies no bugs. We went in the evening. I recommend the tagliata chicken. I believe we saw 2 managers and they were both polite and attentive. Plaza parking lot seemed quiet, free parking. This is a really nice restaurant. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with nice decorations with a home feeling. There is a bakery near the entrance but we came on a Sunday and it was closed. When we made it upstairs to the bar and dining area, we were seated right away and things started off really great. As the place grew busy, it became difficult to track down our server for additional help. All in all the experience was okay. I would come back. The bill was pricey but for the area and service, I believe it is common. The food was delicious. There were no complaints there and we enjoyed our drinks. I really appreciated that they had fresh salads. I love Jamaica but greens aren’t always the first foods advertised. This was our dinner on our last night in Ochi and Im glad we came here. I doubt you will be disappointed coming here so give it a try.

I genuinely enjoy the food here. Customer service is very good, however, the wait for orders esp on what seems to be a slow day can truly be patience testing. Breakfast took too long to get to the table. When it got there it was cold. So cold that the cheese that was supposed to be melted in my omlet, had hardened. Are there no lights in the kitchen to keep the played warm. Why are the meals taking longer than usual to be brought out. I truly usually enjoy my experience here but if I have to be dying to get my meals it may not be worth the wait.

We were warmly greeted. Our waitress was professional and helpful. The wait time for my meal was a bit long, but I was forewarned. It was made fresh from scratch. Our meals were delicious. I would recommend Ciao Bella and would visit again.

Not the first time going to purchase pizza at the Ocho Rios location but on a Saturday this place is closed at 9:15pm. No notice to say why. Ridiculous

The first time I went I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza and it was sub-par. I decided to give them another chance and ordered a stuffed crusty pizza with pepperoni and bacon. They definetly redeemed themselves because it was delicious. Customer service could be improved but the food is ok.

Great food and prices, but with the attitude displayed from the manger/supervisor would have you scared of eating your meal due to fear that they have spite in it from their poor customer service and terrible kitchen ettiquette always talking over your food while preparando it and bad mouthing customer after they have left or they think they have left.

We got 2xl pizza BBQ chicken and pepperoni. Both pizzas were very good. The only reason I didn't give a 5 ⭐ is because the bathroom was out of toilet paper I mentioned it to the staff and she didn't seem to care.

Went to the Ocho Rios store and the cashier was like "YES" I was like seriously to myself so I said maybe she having a bad day which shouldn't be my concern still. I placed my order told her I was paying with a card so she left to get d machine which she said was in the managers office, abt 5 mins later she came back n ask if I dont have any cash to pay with, this can't be real I said no if I had cash I would be using it n not a card so she left again and took another 5 minsso I canceled the order when she came bk. This place here a run too slack these ppl need to be trained in customer service

Pizza pretty good and the wait times aren't bad. You can avoid waiting by ordering online and pickup in store, and they frequently have specials on their website. The place is clean and spacious, unfortunately you can't order in with COVID regulations being what they are. The staff is mostly friendly an courteous and the prices aren't bad.

What was suppose to be a 15 mins wait turned out to be more than 30 mins. The pizza toppings for me personally were sparsely distributed. The pepperonis were overcooked. Would recommend ordering in advance so as to reduce waiting time. The service overall could have been better too.

Disappointing experience, brought here by a tour group. Food took a long time to get after ordering, and prices very high. I would recommend going elsewhere. We got the oxtail, fried chicken, and jerk chicken. The best thing was the festive bread.
Daniel B — Google review
Where..to..start...This place was recommended to us by our tour guide and was reassured that it was really good, and not to judge it by the name. But as we arrived it was clear it was a tourist trap. We ordered the jerk chicken, Oxtail and the jerk pork. Portions were small, and the jerk chicken seemed like it was day old, over cooked and re-warmed chicken, it was very dry and not enough seasoning. The oxtail was tender but was more of a tomato base instead of a “browning/jerk” base. And the jerk pork was sliced pieces instead of traditionally chopped square pieces. Highly recommend looking for a traditional jerk hut as this place didn’t nail it for us. We had better jerk chicken in Grand Cayman than this place. Service was slow and disorganized. It was not worth our limited time here. Good music though.

***Alert***Tourists If you’re given a menu in U.S. dollars, you know you’re going to be ripped off. Menus in USD are 50% higher than menus in Jamaican dollars. If you’re provided menus in USD, ask for menu in Jamaican dollars. Food I ordered was $30 USD and it was $2799 Jamaican dollars which is $20USD(with 15% food taxes included.) Honestly I wouldn’t go back there for the level of dishonesty of the business. These people must think their potential customers are idiots. Food was alright. Decent.

The food was horrible to say the least, ordered some stuff from the Chinese menu and thr food was ready in 1 minute and that made me realised it's not cooked to order. The food was cold and tasted disgusting to the point the waitress saw us leaving food back on the plate and even admitted she does not ear there. There's no fried rice it's just rice warmed up from a microwave! Honestly a restaurant that does Chinese, Indian and Jamaican food on one menu is bound to be bad. Also the prices are a rip off. Just before you consider going here, may want to rethink your options.

The lighting and the variety of drinks was great! The presentation of the food was decent but the tableware was plastic. Parking is very limited and well, uhm....the food was underwhelming to say the least. Some of the food was very oily for example the orange chicken and the chicken wontons literally tasted like oil. I tried something new with the crispy hakka fried noodles; big mistake on my part as they were very dry. I ordered the seafood platter after asking what was on it. Our server doubled down that lobster was on the platter; there was no lobster. It comes with chicken, shrimp, salmon, and fish. CHICKEN on a SEAFOOD platter. Because of this, in addition to other things, our server was not very good. For the prices on the menu, and the presentation and execution of the food and serving, it is not worth it in MY opinion. I would not recommend this restaurant and I won't be visiting again.

Cool Blue Hole Ocho Rios is a popular tourist destination in Jamaica, known for its scenic tropical waterfalls and multiple swimming holes. Nestled in the White River Valley, it offers enchanting views of lush greenery and exotic flowers. The icy blue waters of the river flow through hills, forests, and villages before reaching the Caribbean Sea. This hidden treasure is also referred to as Island Gully Falls, Secret Falls, and Irie Blue Hole.
An absolute must if you are anywhere in the Ocho Rios area - tours/transportation to here can easily be arranged from hotels. This is such a beautiful and peaceful place where you can relax and cool off in the shaded waters below. Just be warned that after heavy rains the cool blue hole can transform into cool brown hole! You will have so much fun jumping from the waterfall! - The guides here do a nice job with this.

This was my favorite excursion in Jamaica! Our tour guide LaShawn was a 14 year old who was super personable and professional. He helped us through the raging water and even encouraged me to jump! This is definitely a MUST DO when you’re here. We rented a car and got tickets online, so we drove there ourselves and didn’t have to worry about a big tour group. Highly recommend!
Reinelle A — Google review
We had a great experience! The tour guides were very patient, friendly, and helpful. Mickey was our primary guide and Jay was the secondary, and both went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and safe. Mickey even went diving to recover my brother’s sunglasses after they were lost during the fall—such a thoughtful gesture! A tip for future visitors: be sure to wear water shoes, as they make the walk up the falls much easier. Our pictures turned out amazing—the photographer did an excellent job capturing the moment, and the fee for all the photos was very reasonable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend!

My wife and I visited the Dunn's River Falls, and the Blue Hole on the same day. I have to say, the Blue Hole was the better visit of the two!! It was a wonderful experience! From our guide, to the leap into the water, it was just amazing!

this tourist attraction is very nice and worth the detour! it is not too crowed and the tour only last about 1hr total. you get to jump in the water many times, hike through the waterfalls and enjoy the quite unusual secret jungle hideout feel. the best advice i can give you is when you get out of the tour bus, make sure you leave all your clothes and belongings there and only wear your water shoes. you may bring a cellphone in waterproof case but nothing else.
Marie K — Google review
Would I return? Yes. Will I return? Yes. However, I won't book a tour, just drive up and pay for entrance and life jacket. This agency is amazing, our bus driver was amazing and informative. We did the blue hole and bamboo Rafting and had a great time. I HIGHLY recommend this agency If this is your first time booking or are not familiar with the culture of Jamaica. My only complaint is the constant begging for funds from side vendors playing on your emotions to buy something or the tour guide asking for tips. While going up the blue hole mountain we saw far to make vendors looking to sell something which ruins the scenery and fun of the hike. Even the photo guy, who came out of nowhere, asked for $120 for the photos And then asked for a tip. When I asked if the $120 isn't for him, he said no that's for his boss tip is different. The bamboo Rafting isn't long but it's relaxing. I fell asleep part way which is what I wanted as I was tired and needed to chill. Halfway, we stopped on an island where you can get a massage of some sort but then the side vendors popped up AGAIN asking for purchase. I am sorry to say this but the owner of these areas need to limit or straight up remove some of them. You can only buy so many gifts before you eventually stop caring. With the constant asking for tip you realize you can't plan accordingly, at least financially, properly for these excursion because you never know who's going to ask for a handout.

This place is breathtaking and beautiful. It is such a beautiful and scenic place to enjoy a day our in nature. The water is extremely cold. My family enjoyed jumping into the blue hole and swimming around. The place is located far up in the hills of St. ANNs. The guides at the location are very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend this place for a day of fun and excitement.

Pleasure Cove Beach Bar and Restaurant is a secluded public beach near Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The soft sandy shore and tranquil atmosphere make it perfect for relaxation with a good book or some music. The calm, shallow waters are great for wading and photography. This scenic beach also features a beach bar serving fresh seafood and drinks, making it an ideal spot to hang out with locals on Sundays.
The atmosphere was the best I have had in a while. The DJ kept the music upbeat all day long. There was never a dull moment. The parking was on a bit hill if you are not parking on the beach in front of the restaurant. The facilities were extremely clean. It was very spacious, so large groups had adequate spacing. The customer service was exceptional. The staff wanted us to be there and they were visible happy to be there there. The food was delicious and hot. Real authentic Jamaica. I highly recommend this beach. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The water was magnificent. It was shallow enough for small children and adults to have a good time. There are chairs and tables available. Don’t forget to bring your towels.

Nice small, hidden beach. Good location for an outing with a small group of people. Advice: Walk with a chair if you don't want to sit on the sand. What they are renting won't suffice. There is an entrance fee and I think it is cash only.

Loved my time here! It's a small cove with a reasonably well stocked bar, food is available as are deck chairs and other seating. The water is clear and warm, and gets warmer every time you re-enter. And of course there is music.

Mahogany Beach, located on the east end of Ocho Rios, is a small yet lively hangout with palm trees and rentable chairs. This charming public beach offers beautiful views and a range of water sports activities such as parasailing, tubing, jet skiing, and snorkeling. On weekends, it becomes vibrant with music, jerk cooking aromas, and impromptu soccer matches. The beach also provides amenities like parking, showers, and a shop selling beach goods.
This is a gem in Ochi. Clear waters, a fresh spring/river area, jet skis and clear kayaks for rent, bar with cold drinks and nice easy food, good tunes and overall excellent vibes. I always come back here at least once during my stays in JA.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – A Hidden Gem with Exceptional Service We spent the day at Mahogany Beach to celebrate both my Wife’s and Daughter’s EarthStrong_Birthday Our visit to Mahogany Beach was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and supported — especially Kevin “19” at the entrance. He was incredibly attentive and went out of his way to assist our daughter who uses a wheelchair, as well as our elderly father who has limited mobility. His compassion and professionalism stood out and set the tone for the entire day. The team didn’t hesitate to let us drive all the way down to the beach to drop off and pick up our family members, which made a huge difference in accessibility and comfort. Their care and accommodation made what could have been a challenge into a smooth and enjoyable experience. And the 500 JMD entry fee includes a beach chair per person — a huge plus and something we really appreciated. The beach itself is beautiful, clean, and relaxing, with calm waters and a local vibe that’s both peaceful and welcoming. Whether you’re looking for a chill day by the sea or a family-friendly spot with a personal touch, Mahogany Beach is the place to go. We will definitely return and highly recommend this beach to anyone — especially those travelling with elderly or disabled loved ones. Truly a hidden gem in Ocho Rios!

This is a nice little beach with a lot of facilities, amenities, there was even party boats docking. The only problem I found was seaweed was very close to the shore, and I was scared of the amount of little fish that were in the water. This may not both others but I felt uneasy about it.

Very small beach and it gets crowded really fast. The staff was extremely helpful, and one of the guys helped us set up our tent. It has a nice gift shop and a restaurant. It was very crowded the day we went and the beach got dirty really fast . There was no running water to clean ourselves of the sand. I think we got hustled we had to pay $1000 just for the cooler..we had no food only water and juice for the kids.

we wished we had spent most days here! The water is so calm and perfect for relaxing floating. Family friendly, good food to buy! Jamaican restaurant
Miss T's Kitchen is a charming Jamaican eatery and bar located in Ocho Rios, offering a variety of wholesome, home-style Jamaican dishes and drinks in a delightful garden setting. The restaurant is known for its inventive meals, lively Jamaican music, and relaxed atmosphere. It's tucked away in a peaceful cul-de-sac off Main Street with ample parking. The menu features sandwiches, wraps, fried chicken, seafood delicacies like the famous curry goat and honey crispy chicken.
We loved our visit to Miss Ts Kitchen. Fun atmosphere in an enclosed courtyard. We had the whole fish (red snapper when we were there). I had mine with run down (basically poached in coconut milk with herbs and veggies). Really tasty. My wife had the same but in garlic butter sauce (more fried than poached). Also super good. We both got rice and peas (because Jamaica!), but maybe only should have ordered one to share. So much food. I also got fresh mango juice.

Our first time in Jamaica and we found this gem on the way back from Dunn's river and we are so glad we did! The food was impeccable, fresh, fast and so tasty. Would 10000% recommend if you're in the area looking for local cuisine and it's very affordable as well. If we're ever back in JA we will definitely be making a stop here again!!
Ayana H — Google review
I have to admit, the ambience and environment were very cool and relaxing, however that's mostly where the praise ends for this restaurant. My parents and I visited this restaurant while passing through Ocho Rios as we had heard great reviews about the place. Unfortunately, it did not live up the hype. The place is certainly a tourist trap with mediocre flavors and sky rocket prices. The portions were very small, especially for the curry goat and oxtail and they were both very mediocre at best. The jerk chicken was so dry and not very flavorful at all. The appetizers were tasty, but can't speak the same for the entrees in which they were missing half the items on their menu and we were the first guests there for lunch after they had just opened up. In fact, we were the only ones there. The service was also quite slow and our waitress had some attitude and sass, which we didn't welcome as guests to the restaurant. Additionally, when it was time to pay, she gave our check and didn't leave and just hovered over us while we calculated the tab and were trying to see the taxes and whether a tip was included. Before we could even finalize everything, she asked us how much we were going to tip and the suggested amounts were 15 and 20% even though the standard in Jamaica is 10%, which we were wanting to give considering the poor service. I will not be back.
Reno S — Google review
Super charming with great ambiance and excellent service. My party had the chickpea stack, rundown vegetables, jerk chicken and bread pudding with rum sauce. The jerk chicken was good, but the veggies dishes were excellent and the bread pudding with rum sauce was possibly the best I’ve had. I asked if they had any soup, it’s wasn’t ready yet, but the waitress noticed I had a cold and brought me hot tea. Little touches like that go along way. Definitely recommend Miss T’s.
Christine H — Google review
I’m so confused by the reviews that are less than a five star. It’s been two days since I ate at this restaurant and I cannot stop thinking about the delicious oxtail that melted in my mouth! Miss T’s Is truly a finder’s gem in the town of Ocho Rios. I’m still in awe! So yes I can agree for where it is the prices took by surprise. The menu is priced in USD at rates I’d fine in the states. But who am I to tell them they can’t operate as a high-end establishment. The look and feel of the place affords them to do that. I mean they have a wine bar…and actually area decked out with a wall of wine and tables with place settings ready for a formal evening. Now let’s talk about that oxtail again!! I’m convinced it’s the best I’ve ever had in my life. You hear me…my life! I’m a Jamaican born living in the US and I’ve tried many oxtails. But whoever is in that kitchen needs to be my best friend or at minimum in my phone on speed dial. And the curry goat was also a delicious treat. Spiced so nicely, soft and delicious. Honestly, this location should never be rated less than a five. If you don’t like something just let them know. And stop making an issue about tips when in the US it would be an insult to tip 10%. Your hostess would appreciate a nice tip. I’m thinking of hosting my next birthday dinner here. For sure is a contender!!! Can’t wait to go back. Beyond worth it!!! Gives Plantation Smokehouse a run for their money!!! ❤️ Miss T’s please know Kim is a fan!!!
Stacy C — Google review
This place is really nice but the food is just average. I ordered honey garlic chicken and was really sweet...to much honey, no garlic. My husband had curry goat but the bones where so little cut it you had to be very careful to eat it.I also found it expensive to for what they offer..so we do not recommend this place. I am sure are other better options.

Firstly excellent food, staff and ambience. It was not crowded going there and we made reservations to ensure we secured a spot (though no reservations needed). Wonderful job to the team there. Will definitely visit again if we're in the area. The prices were reasonable given the location (Ocho Ríos, priced in USD) and they had a variety of options, their menu is also online so you can have an idea ahead of time. Loved that oxtail pasta!

Title: Disappointed with Service and Unprofessional @ 9:30 PM, well before their listed closing time. To my surprise, we were turned away, even though there was staff present. What made the situation worse was that one of the employees appeared to be trying to solicit a $400 tip, which is both unprofessional and unacceptable. This kind of behavior reflects poorly on the establishment and left me extremely dissatisfied. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses such conduct to ensure a better experience for future customers.

Very nice. The service and the ice cream was fantastic. Would definitely recommend

Coffee is my favorite flavor at Devon House, however; the cookies and cream, Devon stout, pistachio, pralines and cream and coconut are tasty too! The waffle cones are always fresh and the scoop sizes tremendous. The shop is located inside the mall area.

Customer service was good plus a variety of ice cream to choose from. Only needs a bigger space to enjoy.

The icecream was a bit costly but its definitely worth the price. The ambiance is pretty cool as well

The Cuban Cigar Shop at Taj Mahal Plaza Duty Free Tax Free is a popular destination for shopaholics, offering a variety of duty-free and souvenir shops. Located near the Taj Mahal's gate, it also features an ATM, Exchange Office, Mama Marley's bar & grill, and Cafe Express serving Blue Mountain Coffee. The plaza is well-maintained with clean restrooms and a Tourist Information Kiosk for official taxis.
Absolutely stellar service. Lit up a couple of sticks for me to try and I’m loving everything. I’m being handed so far. Cuban barcode seemed to all be checking out and every Cuban stick he shown me has been triple capped with all authentication measures… So there’s that! But also, the Crown Jamaica stick that I tried his goddamn amazing too. Kris is very knowledgeable… Hopefully you run into him when you visit here as well.

Came to Ocho Rios to find fantastic prices, but above the prices the services was out of this world ! I was offered 4 different cigars to try , they were all sooo good, I decided on the Montevristo Supremos & the 1935’s … he threw in a Cohiba lighter and cutter set for free and 5 extra cigars along with the ones that I had tried. I would highly recommend visiting Chris if ever in Jamaica.

Got ripped off. Lied to about a bottle of liquor. I was stupid enough to pay t Double almost triple the price because I was in aware. But what really makes me mad is I bought post cards. I bought stamps. But he was "out of stamps" but assured me they would post it. The tour I was on was leaving so I stupidly believed they were honest. They are not. I'm out postcards and postage. Then my husband was accosted by another vendor trying to pull him into the shop next door, then when he got away from that person another follows him on the bus trying to sell him sugar cane. Stay away from this place. They are horrible.
H C — Google review
Keep away from this shop. Fake cigars. Bought two cigars – Cohiba Lanceros and Upmann Magnum 50 – as an experiment from the extremely pushy shop assistant. The boxes are authentic – the seals match on the Habanos website – but the cigars more certainly are not. The Cohiba's band is fake when checked against a real one (most obvious is the hologram), and the Upmann has a very different red and gold from the real thing. Also, pricing is all over the place – the Cohiba $25 when they sell in Cuba (where Cuban cigars are cheapest in the world) for $84 and the Upmann $20, when $17 in Cuba. Odd isn't it? In short, as they say 'If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.' Fake fake fake.
Julien D — Google review
Thank you for recommending Cohiba siglo VI… the best cigar I have ever smoked in my life! Highly recommend your place for authentic Cuban cigars!!
Ivan R — Google review
If I could rate them a negative 1 I would. They are total rip off artists. They claim to sell authentic Cuban cigars, but trust me….they are not. Serial numbers match and sealed box. Got home, opened box, band looked and felt authentic…..but upon further inspection nothing else checked out! Inside the box, no official Montecristo packaging! Under my black light…..no MC hologram. Cigars are short filler and loosely rolled! They got me! Please, please, please don’t waste your time or money with them! Spend the time and money going to the LCDH in Montego Bay! Got me once, won’t get me again.

Excellent! Excellent for shopping 🛍, anything that comes to your mind that you would love to get/have from 🇯🇲Jamaica is right here at Taj. All the designers in Jamaica come here, you don't have to go further. But the fun comes from going further and see for yourself and see other settings. The surrounding is also clean and well kept over the years of my going there. If you are one of the persons who are skeptical about rest rooms, the rest rooms are well done, up to date. Enjoy you shopping, one thing I forget, if you want to make or fix your ✡ jewelry, you can have it done right here, at Taj.

We visited this cigar shop for the 1st time in February of 2020. Made our purchases and got some great cigars. They have a nice selection. Then our son was returning to Jamaica in August of 2020. Kash was awesome to work with and delivered the cigars to the resort for us. Again we got some great cigars and great prices.

Ocho Rios Cruise Port is a popular stop for cruise ships, offering two piers for docking. The central Turtle Bay pier provides easy access to the town's restaurants and shops, including the Island Village mall and duty-free Taj Mahal shopping center. Meanwhile, the James Bond pier, known for its appearance in the film 'Dr. No,' is located about 15 minutes from the town center.
We really enjoyed our 1st stop on our 7days six night cruise Jamaica was our 1st stop the only thing I didn't like was the aggressive people trying to sale there things to you we did a tour had local oxtail which was fair had local drinks which was awesome next time instead of sale the family wants to fly

Very nice n clean, I was shocked but wasn't disappointed. I sell tours all the time and was in Attractions but first time being there. It's a German ship today and a bit slow but nevertheless it's always nice to see them coming off the shop and walking around, enjoying the Island.
Terrisann B — Google review
Absolutely loved it! The walk from the cruise ship is not very far and there are tour guides waiting directly outside to help you find the specific tour that suits you. The security is very tight and there are people selling a myriad of souvenirs right in the port if you don't want to go far. 10/10
GothiQ H — Google review
The cruise part is amazing!! Once you get to the port you are like fresh meat to the locals and not very welcoming of the cruisers... rude comments to the ladies and offer you weed every time you walk by! Gifts are very expensive compared to other islands. Taxis are outrageous to go to excursions. Very sketchy area to freelance shop..
Bobby S — Google review
A most wonderful experience in Jamaica where i had the opportunity to sit on a wall in front of a herb house and partake of the local, ah fair(pot). The people were friendly but a little more pushy than in other ports I've been to. I would go back in a minute should the opportunity present itself.

Amazing and safe, worth a visit for sure. Peter our taxi driver was nice and took us to our destination and pick us back up. Expect to pay a 40 dollar taxi fare each way to visit the blue hole. I totally recommend a visit.

Suki Jerk Center is a Jamaican restaurant located on Double V Plaza and it serves some of the best food in Ocho Rios. The only downside is that the food can take a bit long to come, but it's definitely worth the wait. They have plenty of outdoor seating which is perfect given how hot it gets in Ocho Rios during summertime.
The food was very good, the only reason I took off a star is because the food took a long time to come, but it was worth the wait. Lots of outdoor seating which is great given this pandemic times. The music was a bit loud though.

I would say that I experienced inconsistency in food quality and service. Been there twice, however this experience was distasteful. I had order ribs and mash potatoes, and after waiting for ~ 2 hours on a not so busy day (max 2 tables to serve) and I got neither, and it wasn’t communicated before being served.

Chicken dry to choke you on the chicken burger. The bun save the entire meal. Chicken also looked like It was cooked in old oil that was not keeping temperature or had been sitting. I bet the local dog could have shown me where to find a better meal.

The servers and cashier were rude, having personal conversations on the job and making the wait time longer than it would be. Also got two items the server gave me one item and just left, called to let her know there was something else and she got all upset and still gave me the wrong item so I add to address her again and she just threw it down...even the person who order behind faced the same rude attitude.

Known for its flavorful patties in chicken, beef, and vegetable varieties, Juici Patties offers quick service and budget-friendly prices perfect for travelers on the go.
If you want something cheap and tasty this is the place. For our family of 4 it was less than 1000 Jamaican. They also have plant based patties.

Bought two patties there around 10am in the morning. The patties were obviously stale from the day before. Hardly any meat, mostly flour and rubbery crust. I threw away the other patty. I will never shop there again.

The patties were delicious but they were a little bit too cold. Patties are supposed to be nice and hot. I enjoyed eating the beef patties but it would’ve been better if it was freshly baked. Go early to get the first bite.

Cheap and Very Tasty... Took a trip to Juici Patties before getting back onto the cruise liner after a long day on the beach. Yes, they were just as I remembered.. amongst the nicest I've ever had... Great variety of fillings too. The calaloo filling for vegetarians was so good!! The pastry to filling ratio is just right and the flaky pastry was so good .. although the line was quite long the staff were very efficient.. thank you Team Juici Patties!!! 👍🏾🇯🇲🤟🏾🥰

Food has flavour and you get more variety for alot less money than the other ital restaurant in ochi. Most importantly, the food tastes good. A small meal cost 700jmd. Excellent prices Not keen on the natural juices; they taste bland. Especially the seamoss drink, which was bordering on sickly. They need some natural sweetness from pineapple, mango or papaya to balance out the flavour.

Nestled in the heart of St. Ann, Konoko Falls is a stunning natural attraction surrounded by lush botanical gardens and a small zoo. The site also boasts a museum showcasing Jamaican indigenous art and artifacts, as well as a budgie petting and feeding area. Additionally, it offers ample space for various activities such as picnics, wedding receptions, or family reunions.
Awesome experience at Konoko Falls! It was pretty empty so we had the whole waterfall all to ourselves. Perfect for a medium sized group who wants hang in the pools at the base of the waterfall. Easy walk. And the botanical gardens next to the waterfall are gorgeous!

What a great place to visit. We wenf as part of a cruise excursion and I highly recommend it. The botanical gardens are amazing and informative. For those with some mobility concerns, the garden is well shaded, slow paced, mostly even terrain. The waterfall portion is optional and there is a shady bar area to wait in while the rest of the tour does the falls. The falls are slippery and easier to navigate barefoot or in aqua shoes. Do not recommemd sandals or flip flops. Great for all ages. Well informed, caring tour guides. Bring tip money for a well deserved cash gratiuity at the end.

Located in a serene neighborhood of Jamaica, Ocho Rios Baptist Church is a modern place of worship with a prominent cross adorning its facade. The church is known for its warm and welcoming community that actively contributes to societal improvement. The pastor's thought-provoking sermon emphasized the importance of building inclusive communities, leaving a lasting impact on the congregation. Visitors have praised the church for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and ample parking.
My wife and I visited this church on June 1st, 2025. Our home church is a CMA(Christian and Missionary Alliance) denomination back in the Untied States. We were openly and pleasantly welcomed into this home of God and felt so at peace in choosing this place for our Sunday worship. The sermon, entitled "Good over Evil" was extremely well prepared, presented, and received. We felt at home and were blessed to have found this church to be our 'home away from home'. I would definitely visit again should my feet land in this beautiful place again. Thank you! Jason and Rachel

Splash Time Water Sports & Tours Ltd

4.7
(187)
Splash Time Water Sports & Tours Ltd offers a thrilling experience at the Blue Holes, where visitors can enjoy swinging over the water by rope and plunging into the natural sinkhole or jumping into the pool from a lower platform. The company provides various activities such as fishing trips, boat rides to scenic beaches, parasailing, and kayaking. Visitors have praised the friendly and courteous staff who ensure that all needs are met, providing great customer service.
My family & I had an amazing experience with Splash Time Water sports & tours. Lanea was awesome, she went above & beyond. She was courteous, patient, professional, understanding, informative and full of fun vibes. We requested her to stayed with us throughout the events. Captain Biggs is the best captain, full of fun vibes. You will have no regrets. Shout out to Lanea & Captain Biggs, it was an awesome boat ride. Thank you guys
S. G — Google review
I strongly advise against booking with Splast Time Water, which operates as a sister company to Tony’s Water Sports, offering identical vehicles and activities. If you can find a better deal elsewhere, I highly recommend taking it. Misleading Advertising: When they claim you’ll “see dolphins,” what they really mean is you’ll pass by a facility where dolphins are kept—not exactly the wildlife experience you might expect. Mixed Experience: While the staff managing the speed boating and seatube activities were pleasant and professional, the experience took a nosedive upon arriving at the island. The staff there were rude, unprofessional, and gave off an unsettling vibe. Their appearance and attitude made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. From the moment we arrived, we were bombarded with pushy sales tactics, which was incredibly annoying. The island shop had little of value—just cheap phone covers, bracelets, and beachwear. Asking the staff simple questions about activities was met with agitation, eye-rolling, or curt replies in heavily accented English, followed by laughter among themselves, which felt disrespectful. Poor Facilities: The dock was shady—both literally and figuratively—and not well-maintained. The restroom had no toilet paper, and a woman outside demanded tips despite the lack of basic amenities. This lack of professionalism added to the overall discomfort. Safety Concerns: The life vests provided were in terrible condition: dirty, moldy, and with straps barely hanging on. It was obvious that customer safety and comfort are not priorities for this company. Final Thoughts: In summary, while the speedboat portion was decent, the overall experience was a disaster. Between shady business practices, disrespectful staff, unsanitary facilities, and unsafe equipment, this is not a company I’d recommend to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere for a safer and more enjoyable adventure.

My husband and I went to Jamaica for his 27th birthday and had a really good time. With Splash Time Water Sports I was able to schedule a fishing trip, a boat ride to Mahogany Beach and Lovers Cove, Parasailing and Kayaking. We did these activities over a span of 3 days and every time we went back the crew was great and never lacked in customer service. Anthony and Shawana made sure that we were well taken care of each time and really added to our trip. My husband and I can’t wait to come back.

So initially I was looking for a spot to do snorkeling in Ocho Rios. From catamaran cruises from Chukka & other entities. But my best friend found this business Splash Time Water Sports. That offered snorkeling, water bike and water tubing activities for a reasonable low cost. Initially they didn't have a package catered to all the activities but after calling Shawana, she created the package instantly with the cost for the both of us (party of 2). On Friday (my birthday), we went down to Ocho Rios. The place wasn't hard to find and we met the guys Biggs (Dwayne) & Domone (Fargo) who went on the water with us as well as Shawana in person. On the way to the snorkel spot, Biggs and Fargo gave a small tour of some of the buildings along the coast line from the very first resort to resorts that were built after. Snorkeling was amazing as we went drift snorkeling along the reef initially my best friend was in agreement because she doesn't know how to swim but we all made sure that she was fully covered and safe in all aspects. We saw sergeant majors, angel fishes, damsel fishes. What really caught our eyes while snorkeling was an eel and 2 spotted stingrays. The best part was swimming above the reef and having the fishes swim alongside. We then stopped at Mahogany Beach for some lunch where the guys had to go back for the water tube but had already set up the water bike. On the water bike, It was a peaceful fun experience as we rode alongside the coast line, took pictures and acted wacky. The water tubing.... oh boy so when we reached Ocho Rios we picked out the float that we would go on and when we were ready we hopped on it and the boat dragged it by the stern. If that boat could go any faster i swear it would fly above the water. We were swinging from left to right bouncing to the waves and laughing the entire time. We left from Mahogany beach to the waters outside of Margaritaville and the boat came to a full half and swung left and the float literally took an entire half a circle swing cause that was way more than a turn and all you could do is laugh and hold tight. We did more turns by Moon Palace (sorta like doing donut burnouts) and headed back in. The overall experience was amazing. It was the best birthday for me and the guys from Splash Time made it even a better one. They'll definitely see me again before the year is out

Had an amazing experience! Did several adventures with Splash Time Sports and enjoyed all! Snorkeling was my favorite…I even got underwater video. Packages were available for a combination of activities. Will be using them again on my return trip to Ocho

Beautiful, relaxing, calming and breathtaking are just a few words that I can use to describe Fern Gully. Every drive through Fern Gully is a whole experience where the whole world slows down. I do hope this area is protected and preserved so that all Jamaicans and tourists can have this experience. There are also a few craft shops where you can grab souvenirs like towels, swimwear etc

Fern Gully is one of the most amazing places I’ve seen. As you drive through, you can feel the temperature change from the cover of the trees. The road is twisty and winding, but it is an incredibly scenic and calming drive. Be sure to stop at the various vendors along the way!

Not as many ferns here as I remember from my childhood but still a great historic road, potholes but not too bad.

Tandoor Kabab Zone is a top dining spot in Ocho Rios, offering a fusion of Asian and Indian cuisine with a focus on kebabs. The restaurant features an elegant modern decor with red and white seating, creating a stylish ambiance. In addition to their specialty kababs cooked in a clay tandoor oven, the menu includes classic Jamaican dishes and imported wines, local beers, and cocktails at the wine bar.

I went for the Lamb and the Paneer and they were very good. The Lamb was soft and tender and a decent portion size and the appetizer Paneer was big enough to share. I'll definitely return to try some other things on the menu. The restaurant allows you to order Indian, Chinese and Jamaican food

Service was excellent from being greeted at the door to being seated to being checked on throughout dinner. We tried the coconut naan which was a pleasant surprise and very generous serving. The chicken tikka was very good served with white rice. The chop suey was a little different from what I’m used to in Kingston but it as a solid 8/10. Parking was also very easy. Don’t trust google maps as it had us in circles but Apple Maps gave clear directions. Highly recommend.

This is a great restaurant that has reasonably priced Indian food in Ocho Rios. The menu though is a little limited as most of the dishes on offer appears to be th ones without the sauces like Curry and Rogan Josh.

Fast food restaurant
Island Grill (Main Street) Ocho Rios is a popular eat-in or take-out restaurant located near the main tourist area, offering a Jamaican twist on fast food. Specializing in jerk chicken, sandwiches, soups, and Jamaican dinner combo meals known as yabbas, the restaurant also serves festivals (sweet fried dumplings) and other dishes spiced for the local palate.
I was surprised by the food at this fast food restaurant. Although it is fast food it is good Jamaican food that is prepared quickly and the portions are great. Our family went multiple times within a week due to the portions and great pricing. I recommend 👌

Island Grill is always a vibe!! From the satisfaction box to the big n brawling one.... its all good food. Especially for a corporate entity. Line wasn't crazy long like usual. Staff were pretty friendly despite some of the crabby customers. They worked fast and efficiently. I should've taken a picture of my meal but it looked exactly the menu picture. Didn't surprise me but some of my friends were pretty shocked, especially the European and American one.
Rameel — Google review
Food was wonderful and service was great ♥️🍀 , however the atmosphere was not entirely to our liking because the staff gossips on there break or lunch periodt without restraints for their surroundings.

Best fries/chips 🍟 island wide. Great food, fast service. I am very happy when at an Island Grill.
Scott E — Google review
The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food is authentically Jamaican and delicious (most times). The staff are well dressed and courteous. However, waiting time can be a pain. Depending on your menu choice, you can wait from a minimum 15 minutes up to 30 minutes. The cost of meals is a bit pricy for the 'average Joe', but it is undoubtedly GOOD JAMAICAN FOOD!

I loved having Jamaica "fast-food". It was delicious. The breadfruit was so good. The place was clean and the service was fast. The staff was friendly as well.

Food is good. New drive through at White River North is super slow. Get the staff to move quicker

I didn't enjoy the visit. The card machine wasn't working and I didn't appreciate how the "Failed transaction" was dealt with by the cashier. The air conditioner wasn't working and the store was hot. The meal was tasty and I enjoyed it immensely. I would definitely recommend Island Grill for persons who are living a healthy lifestyle.

Nestled in the picturesque hills of Ocho Rios, Oceans on the Ridge offers an unforgettable escape with stunning views of both the town and the bay. Just a short drive from popular attractions like Turtle Beach and Dunn's River Falls, this apartment is perfect for those looking to relax while enjoying Jamaica's vibrant culture. Guests can unwind by taking a dip in the outdoor pool or soaking up the sun on the terrace surrounded by lush gardens.
We loved our experience at this restaurant! We went for dinner one evening on our way back from Dunn’s River Falls. We were the only customers in the place after a big rush of clients. It was so quiet and peaceful! The view was beautiful. The waitress was really friendly. The drinks 🍹 were delicious. I had curry goat with white rice and steamed vegetables. It was really good!! My boyfriend had jerk chicken with festivals and steamed vegetables. He also liked his meal. Their prices were very reasonable! We’ll definitely go back during the day on our next trip, to try their brunch or lunch and to enjoy the stunning view in the daylight!

First and foremost, I must commend this restaurant for its breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea. Situated on a hill, it offers stunning natural scenery that truly left an impression on me. The establishment's cleanliness is also noteworthy, with immaculately maintained grounds and a spotless bathroom. Our appreciation extends to the gentlemen responsible for upholding these high standards. Our condolences to the gentlemen that passed. The cuisine was exceptionally fresh, with outstanding spices and an overall delightful dining experience. Our menu selections included brown stew fish, jerk chicken, burgers with fries, curry goat, steam fish , wings with fries and more. I highly recommend this establishment and will undoubtedly revisit when in the area. Our sincere gratitude is extended to the exceptional staff and chef.

Dry jerk fish, a frozen-tasting burger that didn’t even come with cheese (they charged extra for it!), and fries sold separately all for 6,800 JMD ($44 USD). Total rip-off and one of the worst meals I’ve ever paid for.

I didn't too much get a chance to experience the restaurant here as I was mainly focused on the beautiful view, but I did purchase a drink, which was okay. The people were very nice and offered to assist with anything I may need help with. Such a wonderful view I will never forget!

First, the view from Oceans on the Ridge was beautiful. However, when we arrived, my family and I were not greeted. I had to ask if we were at the correct place. We were then seated but no one came back to our table to take our order. Mind you, there was only one other family there. It appeared to only be two people working there on this day. So we left without placing an order. We were so disappointed as we looked forward to having lunch there.

We had the jerk chicken and wings and fries. The food was tasty and the serving size was good. The view was even better. Such a great vantage point of Ocho Rios. Prices were also reasonable.
Nereena H — Google review
I stopped by with my family hoping to enjoy lunch and a few drinks at the bar. My daughter had a small yogurt cup, and we had two patties with us. The very first thing we were told upon arrival was that we weren’t allowed to enter with food. I explained that we fully intended to purchase lunch and drinks at the bar, yet instead of being understanding, the staff member was dismissive, rude, and uncooperative repeatedly pointing at the sign that said “No Food Allowed.” This left me wondering: when tour buses arrive with guests often with a different skin tone, accent, or background who also bring along snacks or drinks, are they treated the same way? Or is this level of scrutiny reserved for people like us locals? I completely understand the need for rules, especially to prevent some visitors from bringing their own meals, taking in the scenery, and not supporting the business. But there must be a balance. What about families like mine, who genuinely want to spend money at the bar and restaurant, but also happen to bring a light snack for a child? It feels as though the good are being punished for the actions of a few. Sadly, this experience left a very sour taste. Instead of feeling welcomed, we felt judged and pushed away. A business that wants to thrive should treat every guest with respect and hospitality not suspicion. The company needs to do much better, and after this, I cannot see myself visiting again, nor recommending this place to others. Follow up response: Thank you for taking the time to respond. However, I must clarify an important point: your records are incorrect. We did not purchase any water, nor anything else at your establishment, as we were turned back at the entrance and never had the opportunity to sit down and order. What concerns me most is that instead of acknowledging how the interaction could have been handled with more courtesy, your response seems to suggest that we were treated fairly based on a policy alone. The issue was never the existence of the rule, but the dismissive and unwelcoming manner in which it was enforced. As I mentioned in my original review, I completely understand the need for policies to ensure fairness. But there is a way to communicate rules with empathy, especially when a family is clearly indicating their intention to dine and support the business. Unfortunately, that courtesy was not extended to us. It’s also troubling that your reply implies we were only there to bring in outside food and not to patronize your restaurant, which is simply untrue. We came with the full intention of purchasing lunch and drinks, and instead of being welcomed, we were made to feel judged and unwelcome. I hope you take this feedback as an opportunity to train staff on handling these situations with more understanding, so that future families are not made to feel the way we did.
