1Dunn's River falls

Dunn's River Falls is a unique waterfall in the Caribbean where visitors can actually climb the 180-foot high and 600-foot long cascades that empty into the sea. It is one of the few travertine waterfalls in the world, offering a rare experience for travelers. Additionally, nearby attractions like the Green Grotto Caves provide an opportunity to explore natural wonders beyond just the falls.
What a GREAT experience on our visit to Dunn's River Falls, this was my second visit. Big Foot was our guide and Quinn took our video and photos. Both did an excellent job and also provided much humor and laughter. I would highly recommend this adventure and also highly recommend purchasing the video, photos and also included is a short video of places to visit in Jamaica. If you purchase the video and photos and encounter a problem, check your Junk/Spam File, if not there, contact the email on your receipt and they will contact you and send another link. I encountered the problem and they addressed the issue very quickly.

Went on a Saturday morning around 10am. This was the perfect time because it go t really busy after that. Lovely climb. They did well scrubbing the rocks but some parts are still a bit slippery.
Nickee P — Google review
Dunn's River falls is so beautiful that I have no words for it. Just be aware of the fact that some stones are more slippery than the others, and even with wearing water shoes at cetera you might still have a hard time.

I loved climbing the falls!!Can't wait to do it again.

We had a great time during our Spring break in 2025. Our guide was named Oliver and was very cautious and friendly. He was also very experienced and made it so fun. Our only inconvenience was that we never got our photos and video. A guy named Patrick took our cash, $40 but we never received our photos nor video. Otherwise, our experience would have been a rate of a 5. The waterfalls are gorgeous. Be careful not to give anyone cash!

Fern Gully is a scenic stretch of road in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, featuring towering fern species that form tunnels along the tranquil route. The three-mile protected national treasure is home to over 300 varieties of ferns and dense rainforest vegetation. Visitors can take a drive through this picturesque gorge and enjoy the lush greenery. Additionally, tourists can explore local communities like Colegate and Walkerswood on their way to Harmony Hill farm in Salisbury St.
Best place for camping, group activities and outdoor fun. Perfect for nature lovers

beautiful nature, worth driving through, used to be a river
Pascale V — Google review
Beautiful, relaxing, calming and breathtaking are just a few words that I can use to describe Fern Gully. Every drive through Fern Gully is a whole experience where the whole world slows down. I do hope this area is protected and preserved so that all Jamaicans and tourists can have this experience. There are also a few craft shops where you can grab souvenirs like towels, swimwear etc
Alexia — Google review
Fern Gully is one of my favourite places. The long drive through a fern tunnel with the sunlight peeping through and flickering like stairs is enchanting. This was the old road through to Kingston from Ochi Rios. Whilst the highway gets you to Kingston in a fraction of the time I miss this drive via Fern Gully down to Bog Walk.
Christine M — Google review
Fern Gully is one of the most amazing places I’ve seen. As you drive through, you can feel the temperature change from the cover of the trees. The road is twisty and winding, but it is an incredibly scenic and calming drive. Be sure to stop at the various vendors along the way!

Shaw Park Gardens is a stunning 25-acre botanical paradise featuring tiered gardens, a natural waterfall, and breathtaking panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. The property boasts vibrant tropical flowers, exotic plants, and majestic banyan trees. Visitors can explore secret gardens and enjoy leisurely walks that reveal the beauty of the surroundings. The gardens offer a serene setting for family activities, picnics, weddings, and even include a pool for added enjoyment.
One of the most beautiful Gardens in St.Ann and in Ocho Rios breathtaking views from the top of the property looking out at the Caribbean Sea, and you can't forget the waterfalls on the property, one of the best botanical gardens I have seen.
Eric M — Google review
Beautiful place for couples, perfect for a mid day picnic. The breath taken water falls is simple amazing. You can take along your kids but the steps to and from the water falls are killer but it's definitely worth the walk.
Tifaney G — Google review
Beautiful gardens with a great waterfall in the 25 acre property. A walk through treasures about 40 minutes. A few beautiful banyan trees there too. The caretaker doesn't give receipts to tourists unless asked for which means the owners aren't really getting all the fund to keep the place maintained. The guard took $20 from a tourist couple and pocketed it.
Hassan A — Google review
Very lush and beautiful garden. Scenic view of Ocho Rios from the hills is breathtaking. However due to the natural state of the water resources that support the pools, i realise that the water cannot be treated as easily as the traditional pools. However, believe greater efforts can be spared to make it more habitable.
Mello-Jello N — Google review
Mr. Ronald was so knowledgeable of every plant throughout the garden. Thank you so very much for the private tour. Absolutely stunning

Beautiful place very calm and serene. If you are looking for a place to take your wedding photos this is it ... I went up there to get away and see the views. 🇯🇲❤
Althia S — Google review
It's a very nice property with her river and waterfalls running through. There's lots of space for family activity, picnic, weddings Etc. There's even a pool. It also has a very good scenic view of the town of Ocho Rios below it.
Geoffrey B — Google review
If you're in thr Ocho Rios area, this is an absolute must see. It's not only stunning in beauty, it's tranquil and rejuvinating...the diversity of plants and the way they are laid out and cared for will provide hours of memorable photos and a deeper appreciation for the beauty of the tropics and for Jamaica. The gardens are tucked away, which is good thing as it helps keep this jewel of a place vibrant.

Amusement park ride
Located on the historic Prospect Plantation grounds just east of Ocho Rios, Yaaman Adventure Park offers a variety of thrilling activities such as dune-buggy rides, horseback riding, camel treks, and Segway tours. This oceanfront park provides an adrenaline rush for adventure seekers and a chance to get dirty on the dune buggy ride. Visitors can also enjoy educational experiences like cooking classes and tractor-drawn jitney tours while learning about Jamaica's agricultural heritage.
I went to Yaaman Advebtures for my birthday. And I did not regret it. It is very easy to find using google maps and just about 5-10 minutes from Ocho Rios. We were greeted by every staff member who were all attentive…..and believe me as a National we were not neglected for tourists. We reached a bit late but they were very accommodating and tried to make the best package for the time left. We enjoyed the bird aviary, ATV ride and the Blue hole. Everything was exceptional! I enjoyed it and I would definitely recommend and I’m going back! A must do activity for locals and visitors.
TAMARA F — Google review
My boyfriend and I visited Yaaman Adventure Park last year and booked the “Full Hundred Tour” expecting a fun, well-rounded day. What we got instead was a rushed, uncoordinated experience filled with upsells and underwhelming service. 🦜 Bird Aviary This was the first stop, located right at the entrance. Unfortunately, there was no guide and no explanation, just a quick “go in, feed couple birds and take pics.” That was it. The area itself was okay, but the experience felt empty. 🍳 Cooking Tour This was the only part of the day that actually felt worthwhile. After taking the jitney up to the great house, we cooked our own lunch, which was pretty tasty. But let’s be clear: that meal you cook is your lunch. No lunch break or extra food included. 🏎️ Buggy/ATV Ride More of a letdown than a thrill. We waited around for another group before we could start. The ride itself was just a slow up-and-down trail, no challenge, no speed, no scenery, and fumes from the vehicles made it unpleasant, not to mention how hot it was just riding the ATV, my thighs felt like they were going to burn off from the engine. 💧 Secret Blue Hole We were looking forward to this the most, but it was the most rushed part of the day. We were barely in the water for 5–10 minutes before being told we had to leave with a group we didn’t arrive with, despite the fact that we came alone…..They claimed it was the last ride out and the park was closing, which made us feel pushed out and robbed of the experience. 💸 Insurance & Photo Scam We were charged an insurance fee upfront. The biggest rip-off: we were charged 5,500 JMD for just 2 printed photos (plus the digital versions). For two people? That’s overpriced. Take your own pictures! you’ll save money and probably get better shots. 🎟️ Free Return Pass? We were given a “free return pass” for the Blue Hole as a consolation, but after how things went, we never used it. Once was enough. ✨ Shoutout to Donovan, our jitney driver, he was polite, cheerful, and the only staff member who made us feel welcome. Final Thoughts: The “Full Hundred” tour was more like “Half Effort.” For the price and promise, we expected better. This felt like a poorly organized cash grab with very little care for guest experience. Jamaica has far better-run attractions. Save your time and money.
Shanelle T — Google review
Looking for adventure and a place to unwind, well, this is the place. So many activities to do and see , and I love the atv and zipline .The icing was the trip to the secret river , so cool and refreshing. I definitely recommend it.
Naruka T — Google review
Totally enjoyed the experience! I would go again! Front desk ladies were professional and got us in armbands in record time! The tour and the tour guide.....good! Cooking my own lunch...chef good! Now the buggy....that was an experience... Brown guy gave fun another name!experience was good, good! It was a day well spent! Thanks team!
Brenda M — Google review
The bloody jerk chicken broke my heart, truly disappointing. What made it worse was the unnecessary rudeness from one of the shuttle drivers. If it was meant as a joke, it wasn’t funny, especially since he showed up 20 minutes late and another driver had to end up picking us up instead. The ATV ride was advertised as 45 minutes but only lasted about 22. We arrived early at 11:15am for a 12:00pm tour, but it didn’t start until 12:26pm and didn’t finish until 4:02pm. We spent lots of time waiting around. The birds were adorable, and the lifeguards were incredibly kind and encouraging. If you’re nervous, they’ll literally jump in with you. Fun activities, but the timing issues and lack of professionalism really brought it down
Miah D — Google review
Long waiting time; waited for turn on zip line (15 in my group), waited for food (35 mins), waited for ATV (30 mins) and most sadly is that they don’t want you to take any pictures of your own. We stood near the ATV after we road in it and the lady said “you can’t do that”. Sad because we paid $150 ! Thank God we brought out with us from the resort! They wanted us to spend another $75/$60 on pictures and to top it off there was only 1 group pictures of us standing by the zip line sign!!
Yvonne L — Google review
To get your picture, they tell you to download an app and scan the barcode given to you. I downloaded the app but barcode scan was unsuccessful. I called numerous times and keep getting transferred from one department to another. I have still not been able to get any help as of this minute. They ignore emails and when you call, you never get a helpful person. Your call is transferred all over the place. Unprofessional company. They take your money and run. Customer service sucks. There's also this light skinned fella who is part of the Zipline crew. Very rude and frustrated. He's definitely in the wrong industry.
Mibila M — Google review
I have one of the very best experience!!! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. I went to Jamaica for my birthday You guys really showed me a great time!! The location was beautiful. The tour guides were very nice and helpful and athletic.!!! The food was out of 10/10 I conquered a lot of my fears within the span of four hours. The money is definitely worth it.!!! If you go to Jamaica, you need to go here !! And tip the tour guides

Ocho Rios Bay Beach, located at the heart of Ocho Rios, is a popular destination known for its beautiful white sands and family-friendly atmosphere. The beach offers a range of activities such as banana boat rides, parasailing, tubing, and snorkeling equipment rentals. Visitors can also enjoy picnics under the shade of palm trees and dine at nearby restaurants like Reggae Kitchen and Lounge.
I m marine engineer and i have been 98 countries yet. When i visited ocho rios bay beach, they asked me to entrance fee. Its so strange, i am not going to use any beach services just i want to take some pictures and share to my friends . Why should i pay entrance fee?
Ahmet D — Google review
Walked here from cruise terminal (had to walk past SO many people trying to sell you stuff/taxi/excursions). But once past the large group, you walk a little through town to get to the beach. Probably took us 10-15 min. You can rent beach chairs and umbrellas for pretty cheap ($5-10/chair and $5-10/umbrella or something like that plus have to pay $10 entrance fee). Water was warm and beautiful!
Laura R — Google review
Crystal Blue waters with a clean white sandy beach. Went here for a church trip with some friends on a very busy Saturday, as there were numerous trip buses in the parking lot. There was a bit of a wait to get in, but we eventually got our armbands and got ourselves settled. Even though the venue had a lot of people, there was still enough room to spread out and find an open spot in the water for yourself. My group rented a cabana for the day for about JMD$5200 (USD$32) so that we were able to have a comfy spot to rest our heads and bags; the attendant cleaned it up for us before use, but took ages to give us our receipt, so there was a bit of a mix-up at one point, but that was quickly settled. There were loads of activities to do as there were persons advertising various water adventures you could take part in, like taking photos on a glass boat or water tubing for the adrenaline junkies ☺️ If you wish to take part in these activities, ensure you have extra cash on hand, as they don't take cards to my knowledge. Food is easily accessible once you have on your armband, as you can go off property to purchase food such as KFC, Burger King etc or from any of the local cookshops. The changing rooms as expected were a bit mucky as it's where everyone changed, so it had a slight smell of pee and wet sand on the floor. Just try and balance on your shoes to ensure that doesn't catch your good clothes. There are showers available on both the beach and near the changing rooms. I did not check the bathroom facilities as I used the one over at KFC. It's a fun day and a relaxing day to be had by all, especially if you're there with good friends.
Zany ( — Google review
Very popular beach for everyone. You have to pay to go on to this beach as well as your chairs. It’s a crime that you should have to pay to go on a beach in Jamaica! We had a lovely afternoon there, but the fact that we had to pay just didn’t sit well with me.
D D — Google review
Soft sand & clear blue water! What else do you need! The vendors will try and sell to you all day, but it come with the experience and they are harmless.

Nestled in the heart of Ocho Rios, Jamaica, The Turtle River Falls & Gardens (formerly The Enchanted Gardens) is a tropical eco-attraction that offers lush gardens, cascading waterfalls, and exotic wildlife. This 15-acre hillside paradise features 14 cascading waterfalls along the Turtle River, providing visitors with the option to climb or walk alongside on steps for a secure ascent.
The place couldn't stay open during COVID, so it has turned into this beautiful, modern day, post-apocalyptic takeover of nature. Super inspiring for artsy types, like me. Also, very chill and a nice place to go for a quiet walk. Learning that the grounds keeper has worked there for 18 years and see the place become what it is now is a bit saddening. As much as i love the post-apocalypse vibes, I do hope somebody buys the place to breathe some more life into it.
Sbsp13668 — Google review
It was a little unclear from other reviews whether this place is actually “open”. As of January 2025, the answer is “not really.” We were in Ocho Rios on a cruise ship stop and I was interested in checking this out. We encountered a gentleman who said he was a tour guide and offered to take us on a tour of the falls, so we followed him up the steep hill to the entrance. There we met another guy who may be the person other reviews refer to as the caretaker. Between the two of them they decided how much to charge us for a tour. The first guy wanted to charge $20 a person. We negotiated down to $10 and $5 probably would have been more appropriate. We decided to do it, just because it was different and an adventure. The tour itself only took about 15 minutes. The place was apparently hit by a hurricane a few years ago and nothing has been rebuilt or cleaned up. There are trees down across the trails and stairs. After we got a little ways up the trail, the river has been diverted by fallen trees and is running down the stairs. We weren’t wearing water shoes so we didn’t go any further. Bottom line, this place is kind of interesting to visit, but know that it is essentially abandoned and the “tours” are being offered by squatters.
Scott J — Google review
I visited Turtle River Falls in 2018 and it was very nice and well taken care of. I visited again recently and the place was abandoned and unkept. A man walked up to us and said he worked there, but had no uniform or anything to indicate that he was an employee. He charged us to enter the place but I think he kept the money for himself. We went through all the falls and it was not the same as before. I would not recommend visiting here. However, the falls are naturally beautiful. Go visit Dunn’s River Falls or Konoko Falls for a real and great experience. I visited both while in town and they were amazing!
Jeannette ( — Google review
Not officially open, the place was closed in covid 19 times and had not been looked after. Buildings derelict. However Jerome, security on the gate took us round and we went in the waterfalls. Spent a couple of hours there. Wonderful water, amazing jungle plants, I hope it gets a revamp and reopens.

I've been here as a child when it was called Carinosa...lots of ownership changeovers but the experience is just like I remembered it a child. Great place for family fun. They also have a pool that's kid-friendly. Needs a bit more work since the new management, they don't take card cash only and that caused a bit of an issue. There was no guide at the time but you can explore the falls on your own. Overall great experience glad my kids got to experience what I did.... 💖

Great experience and this is my second time. Huge property, great for social distancing while leisurely enjoying yourself in this time. Great content for content creators, great for families, couples, friends and all out nature lovers. Take food as the restaurant is currently closed or call and find out beforehand. There's an aviary so if you love birds, this is for you as well.
Tamoy 8 — Google review
Beautiful gardens with about a dozen waterfalls visitors can walk into and splash to their hearts content. Safe for children. At the foot of the gardens is an aviary where colorful macaws will happily perch on your head.

Lots to do and see. Pool with water volleyball net. Lifeguard on duty. Music and pa system available wifi available Plenty large open well maintained spaces. Flowers and trees birds in the open. There is a bird sanctuary with tour guide. Guided tour of the property. I lost count but I think there are over 10 water falls on the property. Lots of covered areas to avoid the sun but still have a wonderful view. Just visit you will love it.

White River Calypso Rafting & Tubing offers an exciting water adventure near the Blue Hole, where visitors can float down the White River in tubes. The journey includes both tranquil floating through lush forests and thrilling little river rapids suitable for both adults and children. Life jackets are provided as the river is shallow. Additionally, visitors can explore Dunn's River Falls, a historic site with a famous waterfall that played a significant role in Jamaica's history.
Tubing through the White River was a beautiful, immersive outing. Slowly floating down the river with a handful of rapids to excite all while being sheltered by trees made for a fun, unforgettable experience. The water is beautiful and clean, and my only personal concern was making sure I didn't run into the sides and become unwelcome friends with the local arachnids. Our tour guide was fun, incredibly helpful, and encouraging to our mixed-aged group. Drinks were also served at several slower parts of the river. So, if you're searching for a natural lazy river, with or without booze, look no further!
Daniel H — Google review
Did the river tubing with calypso and had such an amazing time. We were the last group of the day so we were able to get a very personalized experience. We chose not to do the lime stone massage, but did the rope swing and had a great time. Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Toya S — Google review
My husband and son's (17 & 9) absolutely loved this and they highly recommended it. They felt completely safe the whole time, even stopped for a bit to have a swim. It's a must for a anyone who enjoys a bit of adventure.
Claire W — Google review
For US$80 per couple we were expecting a decent raft with at least seats and umbrellas, only to be surprised by a raft that had neither, just 2 cushions, and a raft that was barely above the water! Continuously felt the raft tipping to one side, so we were told to move up and down to stabilize it, not the most relaxing experience. Our "captain" did not look like he wanted to be there at all and made no effort to make our experience enjoyable, and instead of kindly asking, he demanded I hold his phone during the trip and then still had the cheek to ask me to hold his lighter and cigarette for him. I never shy away from supporting the locals with a generous tip if the experience and hospitality is there, but I've never wanted a tour to end sooner. And then still have the "captain" follow us to the taxi demanding a tip, when he could barely give us a smile let alone an enjoyable trip was a joke, or more of a joke that he told us the tip we ended up giving him in the end wasn't enough! And didn't even get a thank you! Worst experience!

This activity was alot of fun. The river was fresh water with clear white water, given its name white river. The guide was very knowledgeable about the river, it was exciting and relaxing at the same time. Definitely recommend while in Jamaica.

Highly recommend the Blue Hole Adventure, but if you are unable to do a moderate hike then it is not for you. But it is amazing! The jump, rope swing, river crossings, Tree of Life and your amazing tour guides make it an incredible journey.

Mahogany Beach, located on the east end of Ocho Rios, is a small yet lively hangout with palm trees and rentable chairs. This charming public beach offers beautiful views and a range of water sports activities such as parasailing, tubing, jet skiing, and snorkeling. On weekends, it becomes vibrant with music, jerk cooking aromas, and impromptu soccer matches. The beach also provides amenities like parking, showers, and a shop selling beach goods.
This is a gem in Ochi. Clear waters, a fresh spring/river area, jet skis and clear kayaks for rent, bar with cold drinks and nice easy food, good tunes and overall excellent vibes. I always come back here at least once during my stays in JA.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – A Hidden Gem with Exceptional Service We spent the day at Mahogany Beach to celebrate both my Wife’s and Daughter’s EarthStrong_Birthday Our visit to Mahogany Beach was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and supported — especially Kevin “19” at the entrance. He was incredibly attentive and went out of his way to assist our daughter who uses a wheelchair, as well as our elderly father who has limited mobility. His compassion and professionalism stood out and set the tone for the entire day. The team didn’t hesitate to let us drive all the way down to the beach to drop off and pick up our family members, which made a huge difference in accessibility and comfort. Their care and accommodation made what could have been a challenge into a smooth and enjoyable experience. And the 500 JMD entry fee includes a beach chair per person — a huge plus and something we really appreciated. The beach itself is beautiful, clean, and relaxing, with calm waters and a local vibe that’s both peaceful and welcoming. Whether you’re looking for a chill day by the sea or a family-friendly spot with a personal touch, Mahogany Beach is the place to go. We will definitely return and highly recommend this beach to anyone — especially those travelling with elderly or disabled loved ones. Truly a hidden gem in Ocho Rios!

This is a nice little beach with a lot of facilities, amenities, there was even party boats docking. The only problem I found was seaweed was very close to the shore, and I was scared of the amount of little fish that were in the water. This may not both others but I felt uneasy about it.
Tee C — Google review
Very small beach and it gets crowded really fast. The staff was extremely helpful, and one of the guys helped us set up our tent. It has a nice gift shop and a restaurant. It was very crowded the day we went and the beach got dirty really fast . There was no running water to clean ourselves of the sand. I think we got hustled we had to pay $1000 just for the cooler..we had no food only water and juice for the kids.
Glimmers G — Google review
Nice beach, but the excursions (jet ski, rafting, photo shoots) as well as the restaurant are extremely over priced and is in USD!!! Cost for beach entry is 500JMD comes with a beach chair. You can bring your own food / drinks inside. Parking is available. Sad I didn’t get to see the floating bar completed

This beach is picturesque from the entrance to the shore! Warm beautiful water, beach chairs, and a bar with a food menu. There are instagram excursions you can pay for, but I wouldn't. The beach is beautiful enough! The fish sandwich wasn't great, but the drinks were delicious 😋

This beach was an amazing experience. Lovely Scenery. Great Customer Service. Have food & drinks. Very affordale to enter and we got beach chairs along with it. The beach is clean. Music is playing. Alot of fun water activities to do!!

We were recommended this beach as a spot to spend the day at in Jamaica. Overall it was a nice way to spend the day at the beach. It's a nice view and there are bartenders that take your order from the beach which is helpful. The drawbacks are that there is quite a lot of trash in the water and surrounding areas. We also had some items stolen from our area while we were swimming which was unfortunate.

Cool Runnings Catamarans offers mini-cruises along the North Coast of Jamaica. The Snorkel Dunns River Cruise takes guests out to sea for snorkeling and a view of Jamaica's reefs and marine life, followed by a sail through a tropical rainforest and buffet lunch on Mahogany Beach Pier.
We booked the Cool Runnings Catamaran Tour with Dunn's River Fall with our resort, Ocean Eden Bay. There were no alcoholic beverages being served on the way to Dunn's River Falls due to safety concerns which makes sense. There were a lot of people on the Catamaran but it was still comfortable. We had seats on the way to Dunn's River Falls and on the way back. Some people went snorkeling and some people choose to stay on the Catamaran. Whoever got in the water had to wear a life vest around their waist. I jumped in the water and did not want to snorkel. Just wanted to float and enjoy the beautiful water. Regular juice was served and there was plenty of staff to make sure you were comfortable and answered any questions you may have. There was a DJ on board and he was really good. They played all types of music and interacted with the crowd. People were dancing and singing and taking photos. We had a chance to order authentic Jamaican meals which would be ready when we got back to the Catamaran. I did not order, however many people ordered. Each meal started at $25 and up depending on what was ordered. We arrived at Dunn's River and the Catamaran waited for us to return. Upon our return, we were greeted by the team and they passed everyone a Jamaican patty. That patty was delicious. Of course, the party began on the sail back. The DJ was playing all types of music such as the latest reggae, soca, and some throwbacks. The alcoholic drinks were flowing, and people were dancing. The team cleaned up quickly and passed out food to the individuals that ordered the platters. The rum drinks were good and strong! The staff was so nice and friendly. They did ask for tips, and I was prepared to tip because they worked hard. The staff made you feel safe by checking on you and asking if you needed anything. I would recommend it as it definitely an unforgettable experience. We had so much fun. Great views, and good people!

Avoid this catamaran tour at all costs. Our recent experience was disappointing, with an outdated and aging vessel. While the crew tried their best to keep everyone happy, the high price point didn't match the quality of service. We were charged extra for each photo taken on board, and the drinks were subpar and served in dirty glasses. The tour was overcrowded, leaving little to no space to sit comfortably. Definitely not worth the money, and we won't be returning. Don’t do it.

I couldn't be more excited to leave a review for this cruise My family and I had so much fun on the boat we looked a hot mess when we were done but it was well worth it They have good music, rum punch and finger foods, plus transportation to Dunn River falls all for a reasonable price around $100 It was lively and everyone assisting passengers were so kind. I highly recommend this tour line to anyone considering a cruise tour while in Ocho Rios, JA
I'sha M — Google review
The tour itself was okay. The people on the boat were amicable and attentive. Like the other reviews mentioned, there is a wait before you get on the boat, it's scorching, and there aren't many, if any, seats to sit on while you wait. My biggest complaint is about the staff at the river. They are super aggressive for a tip. It is mentioned a million times, and since the staff told us to leave our belongings on the boat, I didn't have the money on me. The tour guide for the falls said he would meet me back at the boat for his tip. He waited at the side of the catamaran for more people to give him tips, and as I walked by him, he reminded me that I didn't give a tip. I also saw him complain to one of the other guest that he gave him a ripped $10 bill, and she switched it with her friend and gave him a different account. It made me feel very uncomfortable. Be prepared for a tip to be asked for by your bus driver, the catamaran staff, and the Dunn river guide people on top of the excursion costs!
C B — Google review
Loved the experience and the great staff! Rochelle is the best! She took us after eating lunch and made sure we had a blast. I did snorkeling and the Dunns River walk. It was awesome! Will definitely return to Jamaica and visit them again for another adventure.
Norma R — Google review
The bus driver Clifton and for guide Camille were great. Completely safe, fun and secure. They provided history of the land and were very welcoming. We will definitely recommend them. Our Captain Kirk was kind and remained focused. He has other crewmen but I apologize for not remembering their names. We didn’t get out to snorkel but everyone said they had a great time. The buffet lunch is a simple meal. They didn’t offer alcohol and patties on the way back. There were spots to buy almost any and everything before and after the cruise. Again completely safe and fun. Probably the best point in our whole Christmas vacation .

The park features a picturesque pond filled with fish and turtles, as well as lush gardens, a snack kiosk, and a playground for children. Visitors can enjoy picnics, leisurely strolls, or invigorating jogs while admiring the stream that runs through the grounds.
This place was so much fun. There are three falls to jump from. There is a guy that takes shoes for all the falls to keep you safe. You also wear a life preserver , so you can float. I what's the person that chose not to jump? But to be the cheerleader. Haha

Was a good day trip with my girls. My daughter love the freedom of just running free. This park is fully fenced and right on the main road. Patrons of the park have access to benches and gazebo. You can bring you food and have a picnic that's what I did.

This park is well kept quiet and peaceful, it has a tuck shop where you can buy ice-cream, snacks, water etc, its great for taking photos if your looking for a great background , or even a special occasion , overall its a great park to hang out and there is also security present.

I loved it there, from the scenery when driving in, the pool, the different falls, the nature trail, the aviary (we got to feed the birds) it was beautiful. The changing rooms need to be renovated as some doors couldn't close and there were no lights in some. Other that that issue the place was pretty cool.
Rashell W — Google review
I loved the park as it's a little calm getaway in the middle of a busy town and it's very serene and lush. My only dismay is that the water fountain in the middle doesn't work. Otherwise lovely venue. The fish and turtle ponds are the main staple of this par and I loved seeing the turtles surface for air and I tried to snap a few. The water is a bit murky so you have took really good to see them. I enjoyed it.
Mijan M — Google review
This is a beautiful nature park where you can take your family to relax and have a picnic and take some beautiful photos. My son was a bit disappointed because there was no pool or falls as we saw in the photos, basically nowhere to swim. There is no restaurant or gift shops. Just a little snack shop. We only saw one turtle in the pond and there is no bird sanctuary. My son was not too happy about that either. There is nothing exciting here. It's really just a nature park with mainly beautiful fishes swimming around in the ponds. If you are looking for somewhere fun to take your kids, go elsewhere.
Jodian B — Google review
It's a nice spacious place for family activities or just to take a stroll through. There's some Marine life in the center for a calming experience just to watch and appreciate. This time of year the park is lit up for the holidays and its quite lovely. Celebrating 15 years of these festivities the Saint Ann higher ups came out to express their gratitude for the ones who helped these festivities and the Ocho Rios community at large.

Located in a serene neighborhood of Jamaica, Ocho Rios Baptist Church is a modern place of worship with a prominent cross adorning its facade. The church is known for its warm and welcoming community that actively contributes to societal improvement. The pastor's thought-provoking sermon emphasized the importance of building inclusive communities, leaving a lasting impact on the congregation. Visitors have praised the church for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and ample parking.
My wife and I visited this church on June 1st, 2025. Our home church is a CMA(Christian and Missionary Alliance) denomination back in the Untied States. We were openly and pleasantly welcomed into this home of God and felt so at peace in choosing this place for our Sunday worship. The sermon, entitled "Good over Evil" was extremely well prepared, presented, and received. We felt at home and were blessed to have found this church to be our 'home away from home'. I would definitely visit again should my feet land in this beautiful place again. Thank you! Jason and Rachel

Great property, Jordan was outstanding as our guide. Waterfalls, birds, botanicals was wonderful. We took hundreds of pics.

This place is closed for renovation. Do not go here unless you want to see an unkempt place. We did not know it was closed, but the security allowed us to do a brief walk through some safe spots to get a glimpse. This place must have been spectacular in its heydays. It reminded me of the Botanical Garden in Hawaii. The falls were gorgeous, and the dense vegetation was beautiful. As it is rundown now, we did not walk through all of it. What I saw was impressive, and I could see the jungle had already started to take over and overwhelm the manicured gardens. It is almost a natural ruin now and reminded me of Ross Island in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, where the man made ruins were taken over by nature.
Arun N — Google review
I would not encourage you to view the park right now, it looks like a jungle. This park has the potential to be wonderful. Since COVID it hasn’t been the same per the grounds keeper. Within 2 yrs it has been unkept and everything is overgrown. We went their because we heard it was a beautiful botanical garden. I was pretty disappointed by it. They even charged a fee to give us a tour… which was not worth it at all… the view was spectacular, you could see the entire Ocho Ríos from the top. I hope they get it back to the glory days.

Lovely falls, unfortunately, the drought has affected the flow of the water. It is rather low. The park could do with some more animals too.

Nice easy hike to a number of small falls U can enter. Water is not deep but falls are refreshing. Wear water shows for any water related activities. Tour includes aviary with numerous birds that look forward to being fed, peacocks, parrots, doves, etc. There is a pool that a birthday party had reserved. It was pretty quiet with few visitors. Good alternative to the sometimes crowded Dunn River Falls.

This place is a hidden gem that one should endeavor to check out. When you enter the grounds you it does not appear to be much to see but when you venture inwards you will see a beautiful falls on the property cascaded with flora and fauna that will put a smile on your face. Great tourist attraction in Jamaica. Was such a perfect day. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend

It is an experience to do at least once in your lifetime and the people there are very nice but it lacked organization and I did feel bad for the dolphin having to do this multiple times a day in that small environment. But the selfish part of me was happy I got to touch a dolphin. The crew was knowledgeable and funny. Unfortunately the day wasn't very nice, it was covered and a bit cold so we were all shivering in the water. They make you do a few tricks with the them but you aren't allowed to bring you camera with you as they want to sell the pictures for $80 after (entire package) or $40 for 1. There are girls walking around with shots and punch which aren't included, so make sure to ask for the price (I think a shot was $10). Cost to get to the dolphins cove was $20 from and back to the port.
Alexia D — Google review
Don't book with them they took my families pictures then tried to muscle us into buying one picture for 45$ per person in the picture so one picture of 4 people would be 180$. Best bet is to order the pics @Dolphin Discovery Memories online after you finish the excursion you’ll get a better deal that way. The more pics you select the more you’ll save they usually upload a little while after you finish. Also when you're looking at the pictures in the store they stand over you like Hawks like you're going to steal. I felt very uncomfortable. They also forgot to take pictures of my youngest son on the dolphin…..

MY REVIEW- Now I hate that my review is pretty much all negative but I'm being honest here. You can see that I'm BIG on reviews and I almost never leave 1 star. I just hate being taken advantage of especially on vacation and at the expense that Dolphin Cove did. CHECK-IN We were told to check in at 10am, we got there 10 min early, the moment we walked into the office the entire staff was in a mood, No idea why, maybe they had started the day off with a bad meeting? No idea, it all started with the male employee at the desk, and it seemed like his mood was rubbing off on the ladies in the office... Now when we first signed up for this experience everyone we talked to were difference employee's vs the ones we ran into at check-in. Just overall this day started off very unprofessional. This caught us off guard as this customer service is NOT AT ALL the same as Moon Palace Customer service at the rest of the resort. PRICE- Price that was given to us through a customer service rep of Dolphin Cove Moon Palace Jamaica who walks around the resort was not the price given to us at checkout after our experience at Dolphin Cove. It was almost double what was told to us when we originally signed up. When trying to bring this up, they did not have the time of day to give to me. * EXPERIECE- Since I'm 6 months pregnant we signed up for the "one on one" experience with the Dolphins. This cost more and was sold to us as a more personal experience and less of a group activity. This was not the experience. They definitely OVER BOOKED this experience. Yes, you are in a different area with a Dolphin but they had so many of us in this small area, trying to push us all in one area in the water to stand so we are "out of the way of everyone's photos", (more to sell us on later) it was more of a pose with the Dolphin - Photo, Pose again - Photo, Pose one more time, NEXT, NEXT, NEXT.... all more to sell the photo packages once the experience was done. Less Experience and more sales on photos. The entire time we are in waist deep water, elbow to elbow, back to front with other families and kids, just standing there and trying to keep our kid's hands to themselves waiting for our "photo op" is what it turned out to be. * PHOTOS- The quality is lacking thereof, our skin in the photos is an orange color and our teeth look brown. Oh and the water does not even look blue in the photos... They only would sell ALL OF THE PHOTOS as one price (Our Cost that day for all of the photos that they took, included 3 print outs was $140 US and we only got about 6 decent photos out of that after I edited them myself - NOTE: not one photo of our 16 month old son looking at the camera or even a good one of him interacting with the Dolphin) and they would not let you choose to buy a few photos again you had to BUY ALL OR NOTHING. Again, Sales Sales Sales. I did however buy the photos and yes, the color is still there when sent to you through email. I was able to save a couple by over editing them myself but that takes the fun out of being able to post the photos the same day of our Dolphin experience when you have to wait to find the time on vaca to edit them first. -NOTE: Just so you know, If you plan on buying photos, you can wear sunglasses when with the Dolphins. That way you dont end up squinting in all of the photos. * ANOTHER SALES PITCH TO US- We also were sold on the fact that one or two of the Dolphins would be able to tell us the gender of our baby as I'm 6 months pregnant. We kept reminding them of this, and would be told "oh yes, we will do that here in a bit, oh yes at the end".... they literally just would not even do it. Why even bring that up to us if you refuse to do it? So odd and unprofessional. * Anyways, I hope you find this review helpful. Again, so sorry its negative but I hope some of you find it helpful.
Amanda W — Google review
high photo costs, pushy sales staff, and a lack of organization the food is trash… NOT WORTH IT… the photo were 300$ for 4 people… would not recommend
Kayla D — Google review
Such a tiny tiny pool for these dolphins to be stuck in. Watching repeated guests stand on their beaks, which we know causes damage, just to have a quick ride around the pool. The amount of boat traffic and noise these dolphins are subjected to all the time is horrific. I feel for them and people should try to be more factually before they pay to swim with these beautiful animals in captivity. No shelter for these dolphins either. Please go on a tour to see wild dolphins instead, they are not meant to be ridden.

Chukka Adventures provides excellent on-river offerings for those seeking adventure. Visitors have found it convenient to show up at the location and arrange a trip without prior booking, often getting a good deal.
We had a wonderful experience rafting on the White River. Jamela, our host, was friendly, professional, and made the entire process seamless. She ensured we were comfortable and well-prepared before setting off. The river itself was stunning, with beautiful scenery and just the right mix of calm waters and exciting rapids to keep things fun and adventurous. The guides were knowledgeable and made safety a top priority while still creating a laid-back atmosphere. We can’t wait to return for another adventure and highly recommend this experience to anyone seeking a memorable outing on the water!

I tried to go through a company but they never got back to me in time! So, we just showed up at this location and ended up on one for a much cheaper price. Never paid any money over till I was on one and understood what we're getting for that price. It was awesome and was made up

20RENO bar And Gaming Lounge

Casino
RENO Bar and Gaming Lounge is a popular casino in Ocho Rios, offering a variety of games such as roulette, blackjack, slot machines, horse betting, and poker. Located conveniently on Main Street, it's the largest casino in the city with over 100 machines for visitors to try their luck. The gaming lounge also features tables for poker, roulette, blackjack, and craps. Guests can challenge themselves with Caribbean Stud Poker as well.
It's an ok Casino as there aren't any others around. Slot machines are very dated. They are the same machines in the same position as they were for at least 6 years but they are still paying so you really can't complain too much about that. I'm not a big gambler at casinos so I usually come home up about $2,000 to $5,000 Jamaican. They also have a half decent bar, nice washrooms and good music playing.

Went to this gaming casino in Jamaica called Reno gaming casino. The worst casino ever. To get in you have to provide your name, license, your profession, your source of income and address. OGM you would think I was trying to get a bank loan. All of this information so you can play some old slot machine and lose your money.👎🏻👎🏼 If it was possible, 0 stars would be more appropriate.

Lost money I could swear the ball was bouncing around more than it should but who knows. Not a lot of people were there so I’m guess the payouts weren’t ready. Cool small place to kill some time and money!

Lovely customer service, nice environment as well.

This is a gaming lounge I don't gamble so I can't comment on that but the drinks are reasonable priced so if you want cheap drinks with nice atmosphere yeah..You can use your phone much and no weapons allow not even a umbrella...

Great chill spot, white interior lounge, and lots of slots to choose from

They have better games than I was expecting. Like all 🎰 the free drinks are a fiasco. Glad not to pay to be disappointed. The coffee was horrible. She didn't like her tea. I deleted the one video I did make, as you could hear Maria tell me no 📷 allowed in the casino.
Cedrick D — Google review
Just a game room like the ones in the states. Large variety of slot machines. No free drinks. But they did offer us soup that was quite tasty. No smoking as well and no problem finding a machine to play. Not crowded.
