Mammoth Cave is a vast limestone cave with stunning stalactite and stalagmite formations, offering audio tours for visitors. It is one of the fascinating caves in Boranup, along with Lake Cave and Calgardup Cave, providing unique experiences such as guided and self-guided audio tours to admire the underground beauty. The cave offers an accessible walk with visually appealing formations, enhanced by an informative audio guide.
A great experience in one of the very grand limestone caves here in Australia! I can't really compare this with other caves but I really enjoyed the experience of listening to the audio guide and walking through the cave and admiring the rock formations. You don't need to spend too long here, but we spent a good hour plus here!

What a great cave to visit! Reasonably priced for adults and children, and good value with the audio guided tour headphones you receive for the walk. In terms of hardness - not too hard to walk this one. The steps are not too overwhelming as they are in shorter flights and not too steep. The views are fantastic, with the cave being well lit as you progress. Once you exit the cave, the walk back is beautiful through the greenery and tall trees. You have a choice of a shorter walk or a longer walk, but we took the shorter as the rain was pouring! ☔️ 🌳 🌲 absolutely beautiful spot in the forest either way, as you would expect of this region. Highly recommended!
Chris W — Google review
Mammoth Cave was an awesome experience! Self-guided tour, very accessible, great walk paths throughout with a number of stairs in and out. The best part was the mega flora fossils to see, highly recommend!
Jay ( — Google review
I’ll admit I have always been a little scared of caves, so I wasn’t sure what to expect when visiting Mammoth Cave. To my surprise I absolutely loved it and the experience completely changed how I feel about being underground. The staff were excellent from the start I especially appreciated the self-guided headset tour. It was easy to follow, full of fascinating facts, and let me explore at my own pace without feeling rushed. The cave itself is breathtaking with huge chambers, stunning formations, and an atmosphere that feels both humbling and peaceful. While I was nervous at first, I quickly found myself in awe of the place rather than afraid. At the end, climbing the 160 steps back to the surface was definitely a challenge, but it was very doable with a steady pace and it felt rewarding after the tour. Overall I cannot recommend Mammoth Cave enough. Even if caves make you a little uneasy like me, the combination of excellent service, a thoughtful self-guided experience, and the sheer beauty of the cave itself makes it an unforgettable adventure.
Maddison J — Google review
Absolutely loved it. It would be awesome if you could buy a cave pass at a reduced price as an incentive to visit all the caves of your choice as it becomes a bit expensive when you're wanting to go to all of them and pay individually. But, definitely LOVED the experience.
Tamara W — Google review
We did the self-guided tour with an audio guide. Booking through GetYourGuide saved us $2.50 compared to buying a ticket directly at the entrance. Due to the lengthy introduction, the information in the audio guide about specific areas of the cave only came up after we had already passed through that section, forcing us to backtrack and review it, that's a bit annoying because the pathway is very narrow, and when there are many visitors, it is often blocked. The cave itself is impressive. It is best to visit the cave early to enjoy it undisturbed.
Peter T — Google review
A beautiful cave with lovely Cape Foundation staff. Lots of steps, but worth it. With all the Caves, if it's a weekend or a drizzly day during peak season, definitely book ahead so you don't miss out.

Cool cave and good stroy on its origins... nice walk in also nice and cool in there.. the stairs out would be a bit of a punish if your older or have a disability.

Lake Cave is a subterranean natural wonder that offers group tours for visitors to explore its stunning features. Located in the Boranup Karri Forest, the cave provides a scenic drive through towering pale-skinned trees, offering opportunities to spot kangaroos and capture fairytale forest photos at Karri Lookout. For adventurous travelers, Giants Cave nearby offers a self-guided experience with vertical ladder climbs and rock scrambles.
Lake Cave is a lovely experience. It costs $75 family ticket for four. Booking can be made through the Margaret River Visitors Centre. Bookings are highly recommended, especially on weekends, public holidays, and school holidays to secure your spot. Prepare for a bit of a workout with 325 steep steps down and back up, definitely not for the unfit. Be sure to be aware of your surroundings to avoid bumping your head on the limestone formations. There are no helmets at this cave. Inside, the cave is absolutely stunning. The lighting creates a magical atmosphere that enhances the natural beauty of the formations. Our guide, Indigo, was both funny and knowledgeable, making the tour engaging and informative. Overall, a fantastic adventure that combines natural wonder with exercise. Highly recommended!
Fluffy G — Google review
We had the most wonderful time exploring Lake Cave! My family visited back in 2002 and highly recommended it to us, and we were definitely not disappointed. We arrived at 11.45am just in time to attend the 12pm tour. Ticket cost per adult was $25 and worth every cent. Our tour guide, Tiahni-Rose, was a fantastic source of knowledge, learning about the cave’s history and seeing that it’s still a very active cave was absolutely mind-blowing. The walk down (and back up) the staircase was a bit of a challenge, but the rest points along the way made it very manageable. There’s no rush, just take your time and enjoy the incredible scenery. This experience is a true gem of Australia’s natural beauty. We loved every bit of the tour and highly recommend taking the time to visit and support this amazing piece of living history.

So pleased we decided to visit the Lake Caves. From the impressive entrance via a giant sinkhole to the beautiful structures inside the caves. Sophie our guide was amazing and very knowledgable. The only downside was having to climb back up the zillion stairs. However it gave you time stopping on the way up to take in the beauty of your surroundings.
David R — Google review
Lake cave was an excellent little adventure into the world below. Great descent into the cave structure via a long steep stairway. Very well explained by a very experienced guide Harry. You will not be disappointed by a stop at this attraction. Be ready for the climb back out though.
Tony H — Google review
Lake Cave is an absolute marvel and easily the most breathtaking natural wonder I've ever experienced in the Margaret River region. The descent into the cave through the towering karri forest sets an incredible, almost mystical tone, but the sight inside is truly unforgettable. The Suspended Table formation is genuinely awe-inspiring, looking as if it's floating magically just above the water. Our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, humorous, and passionate about the geology. If you are anywhere near Western Australia, this is a non-negotiable, must-see natural attraction.
Nathan K — Google review
This is a visual surprise. We were not expecting much but were really surprised with the formations in this little cave. The walk down is pretty difficult hence also the return but definitely worth every step. There is also a great light display near the end of the tour. Be mindful that this is not an actual lake more like a stream that flows. The tour guides were great too with plenty of local and geological information.
Eric S — Google review
Mammoth Caves was awesome. It is a self guiding tour which is very easy to navigate using headsets & a device. The only issue we found was being able to read the numbers to select on the device the dark. It was very informative & exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend doing a tour of this cave to others
Kim A — Google review
This cave is incredibly beautiful, a very special thanks to our guide Peter who was outstanding on his skills as a tour guide!! Very knowledgeable, kind and experienced, he is the one who made this tour becoming a memorable experience! Only negative point, babies allowed? I do understand including kids in the activity, but please put a restriction no kids BELOW 5YO!!! When you are in the cave listening the silence with watering drips and you end up with 3 kids below 3YO screaming and crying at the same time, sorry but this is completely ruining the experience. You NEED to put an age limit ASAP for the best of every people involved in a tour, thank you.

A Maze'n Margaret River is a family-friendly destination offering a variety of activities. Visitors can explore a 3-meter-high giant hedge maze, enjoy an 18-hole mini-golf course, and wander through five hectares of beautifully landscaped gardens featuring butterflies. Additionally, the site includes playgrounds and various games for kids to enjoy.
We had a great afternoon here. The staff were really friendly and greeted us upon arrival. The hedge maze is huge, we had a lot of fun walking around it. The rest of the gardens are really beautiful as well.
Sandy G — Google review
You could spend a whole day here (like we did) and still feel like you haven’t experienced everything and that you need to come back again (like we did). What a place. The food is good, the gardens make me want to be a gardener. The outdoor games are great and the maze is spectacular - you can certainly tell a lot of time, effort and careful dedication went into the maze and it paid off. Enjoyable for all abilities and all ages!
John P — Google review
I enjoyed it but my kids didn't. I liked getting lost in the maximum but my kids got very frustrated after an hour trying to get out. One suggestion for this place is put a toilet amenities in the middle of the maze and a wayer station
Matt F — Google review
Navigating through this maze was a fun and challenging experience. The layout was thoughtfully designed, with plenty of twists, dead ends, and hidden paths that kept me guessing. It balanced difficulty and enjoyment well — not too easy to breeze through, but not frustratingly hard either. The environment was clean, well-marked, creatively themed and the mini golf adding to the overall adventure. Whether you're solving it solo or with friends, this maze offers an engaging escape that's worth a visit! You can dine in at the restaurant or buy coffee.
Ayesh B — Google review
Good way to kill a few hours with kids and family. Great little Cafe. Well maintained hedged maze (although not challenging) 18 hole mini golf... Other outdoor games on a beautiful property! $44 per adult for both golf and maze! Entertainment book offers 25% off, BUT wasn't at time of payment.
Aeron H — Google review
An astonishing place! Even the carpark is pretty! Our group of 8 had a wonderful time on a drizzly Winter’s day. In addition to the signature Cypress hedge maze, which was truly exciting and challenging, there were many other interesting, smaller mazes dotted around a botanic garden of remarkable beauty. I estimate 400+ species of plants, including a mixture of exotic and rare native Australian and West Australian plants, which are well-kept and beautiful to see, plus charming sculptures of reclaimed materials around nearly every corner. An incredible amount of effort has clearly been put into planning this family-run property. There is also mini golf, boules/petanque, giant chess and picnic grounds, plus a café serving a range of tasty food. The entry fee and cafe prices reflect the expense of keeping a private property in such beautiful condition, and, as such, are reasonable. If you have come to have a lovely time, you certainly will.
Lu K — Google review
Get lost in the (amazing) maze, a real labyrinth then lose yourself in the exceptional botanic gardens with mini mazes and games. Hard to believe this is curated privately. A life’s work!

White Elephant Cafe in Margaret River offers a stunning view of Gnarabup Beach, making it a must-visit spot for brunch. The cafe serves excellent coffee from Diamattina and offers a diverse brunch menu with unique twists on classic dishes like wild mushrooms on sourdough and Spanish Eggs chorizo. Visitors can also enjoy whale sightings between August and December at nearby Bunker's Beach House Cafe or experience the local vibe at Sidekick Cafe.
What a wonderful dining experience we had at the White Elephant Cafe. For Me and my family it was our third visit to the busy beach cafe. We were absolutely delighted by every aspect of our visit. As always from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their hospitality was top-notch, and their attentiveness truly made our evening special. Now, let’s talk about the food. Wowwwwww ! Each dish was a culinary delight, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. It was evident that a lot of care goes into the preparation. And to top it all off, the prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. We left with full bellies and happy hearts. We should not forget the magnificent views when having our foods. Awesomely amazing. Thank you, for a memorable moment. We will definitely be back again and again and again whenever we are around Margaret River

The white elephant cafe is in an absolutely gorgeous spot. The cafe has such a relaxing vibe and is situated on a hillside overlooking the ocean. Absolutely stunning. On the day we went we didn’t order a whole lot, but we tried their fish and chips which were crispy and golden. My only complaint is that it was fairly quiet and it took at least 40 minutes for it to come out. Maybe they were short staffed, I’m not sure. They also have clean toilets in there too! Definitely would love to give this place a try again to form a better opinion.

A very unique place by the sea. Where you can really enjoy the constant sea breeze blowing at your face. Had to wait 5 minutes before getting a seat as there was a big group reservation for lunch. Came at about 1140am and just before the lunch Menu kick in. So able to taste the best of both breakfast and lunch menu. Ordered the two eggs with bread, Rueben sandwich from the cabinet and the soup of the day. All the items were very flavorful and delicious especially true eggs were very well done.

The White Elephant Café is an absolute gem. Nestled right by the coast, it offers breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean that make every visit feel special. Sitting on the terrace with the sea breeze and endless blue horizon is simply unforgettable. The atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant the perfect spot to start the day slowly or enjoy a lively breakfast with friends and family. The staff were welcoming and attentive, which added to the warm, inviting vibe. And the breakfast absolutely amazing! Fresh, generous portions with so much flavour, beautifully presented and full of quality ingredients. Paired with the ocean backdrop, it made for a truly memorable experience. If you’re in the area, this café is a must-visit for the views, the food, and the whole coastal charm it delivers.

Amazing view. Such a stunning location. Food was good. Coffee was ok. It's really busy, but the food is delivered quickly and the staff keep on top of the table clearing.

Coffee and service is good and the cakes are nice and fresh each morning. The view of the ocean is absolutely amazing and it’s the best view I have ever seen for a cafe. Make sure to come check white elephant out if you are ever in the Margaret river region

Hard to judge overall today as it was windy and we only stopped for a small snack and coffee. Menu looks extensive and well priced and they command and amazing location.

Good food and presentation was beautiful. Lovely place to have breakfast as it’s not too busy yet and the views of the ocean are so nice. The breeze was lovely and I had a really nice time. The food portions are generous and filling. The staff are so nice. I visited The Sea Garden Cafe yesterday and absolutely loved it! The food was delicious and fresh especially the laksa, nasi goreng (fried rice) and pizza, and the ocean views make it such a relaxing spot. The menu had great variety and everything I tried was tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe is perfect for a chill meal by the sea. Came for a late lunch & loving the ambience - Love that they still serve lunch at 2-4pm. Fish & chips had 2 options — fried or grilled and both were yummy!! When they stated their portions are generous, they mean it!! Staff were lovely — will go back for pizza and their other menu - saw some Asian menu I’d love to try.

We took the advice on the free southwest travel guide and headed to sea garden for a late arvo pre drink to watch the sunset - then ordered the takeaway fish and chips to go sit on surfers point grass to finish watching the sunset set. The staff were friendly and I tried the megsy ginger beer on tap and the partner had a nice prosecco. Amazing late afternoon view. The food was sensational - the fish was fresh pink snapper lightly battered and it was nice and flakey but not a thick batter. I was surprised and it rates in my top 3 fish and chips in WA so you won’t be disappointed with that choice.

Popped in after a day at the beach on a Sunday afternoon. Had one of their Ginger Beers which was very nice, sat on their stool that overlooked the beach and watched the sunset whilst listening to fantastic music by Chris Hawker Music. Such a good vibe! Didn’t order any food but looking around, their pizzas looked delicious!

Great pub vibe with a mix of locals and tourists. Friendly and super efficient staff serving the best cocktails and food. Cosy relaxed feel with the fireplace and couches. Quite a big space with a variety of tables throughout and a pool table at the back The special midweek meals are good value too and jazz night shouldn't be missed.

Highly recommend going on a Wednesday evening for burger specials. We had the beef burger and buffalo chicken burger, both were excellent — juicy, flavourful and perfect ratio of meat to toppings! Also recommend the indulgent loaded churros for dessert. A parking lot is available in front of the restaurant but it can get crowded later in the evening, so most resort to parking along the street.

I consider myself a bit of a chicken, tender connoisseur and not gonna lie. This is by far the best chicken tenders I’ve had. The sauce is just incredible. And the brussels sprouts in whatever sauce they put them in is mind bendingly good. Easily one of the best things I’ve eaten

Sons Of Naples is a popular Italian restaurant located in the South West and Margaret River area, known for its mix of traditional and modern Italian cuisine. Customers have praised the fabulous food, with highlights such as the mushroom truffle pizza and authentic flavors. The friendly and attentive staff contribute to a great dining experience, although it can get lively at times.
Absolutely loved Sons of Naples! The food was superb, and the service was fantastic. Both of my sons are pizza and pasta lovers, so they were very happy with their meals. My youngest also made sure I was giving a 5 star review. Definitely recommend this amazing restaurant 👌 Graziè to the staff!

Loud and boisterous atmosphere, this is a popular place so make reservations. (No wait with reservation.) Everyone said the food was good. Love to see them add a few more wine choices. The GF pizza is REALLY exceptional. Like the best pizza I’ve had outside of Italy. If you’re celiac, eat here! Many thanks to Alex for being a great host, and I’m sorry not to have the opportunity to try his GF desserts. We WILL go back.

We went there for dinner. We had the Garlic Focaccia for starters, the Vegan Roots n Shoots and Truffle Lust pizzas for mains, followed by the Apple Tart Tatin for dessert. The dessert was excellent, but the pizzas themselves were a little below the standard that we have come to expect (e.g., the Vikka pizzeria in Leederville Perth). The service was excellent. The pricing was above average (a tip was expected) and the wine was relatively expensive.

Out of the hustle and bustle of Main Street, but not far away and most certainly worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed our pizzas and reminded us of our time in Italy. Service and atmosphere spot on - can only imagine the grass area and playground in high of summer. Definitely recommend - and we will certainly be back, what a find.

Authentic Italian pizza in the heart of Margaret River! The pizza was absolutely delicious – light, fresh, and full of flavour. Alex was amazing: super friendly, professional, and genuinely kind. We would come back to Sons of Naples. The pizzas were amazing, cooked beautifully! However the service wasn’t that great, we waited for quite a long time for the drinks order to be taken. But after that it flowed a bit better. Very few local wines on the list! Right in the Margaret River wine region, forget the imported Italian wines… go for local grown and made, there’s plenty of Italian varietals from good winemakers in the region…

Settlers Tavern is a lively joint located in Margaret River, offering outdoor seating, live music, and a selection of local craft beers on tap. While popular spots like Morries and Muster Bar and Grill are frequently recommended by locals, Settlers Tavern stands out for its classic pub favorites and innovative dishes. Despite its dated 70's decor, this old school Aussie Tavern surprises visitors with excellent pub grub and an impressive wine list.
We had a great time at Setters Tavern! The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, perfect for enjoying drinks or a casual meal. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making it an enjoyable visit. Highly recommend stopping by when in Margaret River!

This is always a good place to get a decent feed. Had an enormous lamb shank on a very smooth mash with some carrots and beans. It was cooked very well and much nicer than the one I had a couple of days ago at another Perth Tavern. Partner had the pan seared fish of the day which was pink snapper. She said it was one of the nicest fish she has had in a long time. Highly recommend.

Situated on the Main Street in Margs the Settlers Tavern is both a bar and restaurant with a great atmosphere. Note though that the restaurant does not stay open late so either arrive early evening or check on arrival what time the kitchen closes. We ordered the sausage & mash and Lamb shank. Both were lovely and paired well with a glass of the local red wine Leeuwin estate Shiraz. Prices are reasonable and the menu has a decent selection. If you want something more town to earth and homely then Settlers is for you.

Good atmosphere on a busy friday night. Staff had a little too much to do and not everything want smoothly but it is expected on week end. The meat was actually rare (which was asked) and that is rare enough to be mentionned 👌🏻 concert started a Little later at the venue. Only thing missing on that night would have been a couple extra pool table to play and a larger amount of bubbles in the almost flat beer.

Great service, good food! Lovely place for our family of 6 to come by and enjoy.. ordered the smoked brisket, fish & chips, spaghetti bolognese, buffalo wings, chilli mussels and garden salad.. 3 glasses of vino and dessert.. was lovely..

One of my favourite places for steak and local beers in Margaret River. Great atmosphere, decent food and drinks menu, friendly staff and suppliers of fine comfort food.

We had a great lunch here. Nice atmosphere, especially the non-smoking outdoor area at the back of the restaurant. Burgers and kids' meals were a good size.

Nestled beneath another restaurant, Pizzica Italian Restaurant, Pizzeria & Charcoal Grill Cuisine is a hidden gem offering more than just pizza. Owner Ivan Zecca and his skilled Italian staff have created an authentic Italian experience in the heart of Australian wine country. While their thin-crust pizzas are a highlight, the wood-fired meats and puccia (stuffed calzone-like breads) are equally impressive. The 400-gram T-bone steak is particularly noteworthy.
Me and my friends came to Pizzaica for a birthday dinner two weeks ago, and let me tell you it was worth it! Obviously seeing the prices sit around the $30 - $40 range we were a little be skeptical about the portions and quality of the food, but trust me when I tell you that for what you get, it is immaculate. We shared an arrangement of four pizzas across the table with a bowl of chips and a few other side dishes, and it was worth it! Although overall, I think what really made Pizzaica stand out against most other restaurants you would go to is the amazing hospitality and service provided by a servers, especially a man named Mica. He looked after our table all night, provided constant refills for water, and wasn’t afraid to chat us up and make us feel really welcomed! Our whole group was praising him the entire night on the stream incredible service he provided us! Overall I would 100% recommend any newcomers in Margaret river to hit up Pizzaica and just get a nice stack of different pizzas to share around the table! (Also sorry for the late review haha I didn’t forget I sweat!)

Pizzica Italian Restaurant in Margaret River is an interesting spot on the main strip, easy to find and inviting from the outside. Inside, the decor leans towards kitschy, which gives it a unique charm and makes the setting memorable. The staff were attentive, though they lacked a bit of enthusiasm, which might leave some guests feeling the service was a bit flat despite being prompt. The food focuses on simple, classic Italian fare, with pizzas that highlight fresh ingredients and traditional flavors. While the dishes are satisfying, the prices feel a bit high for what you receive, especially considering the straightforwardness of the menu. Overall, it’s a nice place for Italian food, but you may leave thinking it could offer a bit more value for the cost.

Pizzica is a lovely spot to grab a pizza. Their prices however are not justifiable, especially considering that your order is not taken by a staff member and you have to use a QR code. At this sort of a price point, I’d expect a higher level of service. The food itself was good, but in comparison to what we were paying, it left something to be desired. Drink sizes were also small and filled with ice. The manager berated his staff in front of customers which was very distasteful. He was also rude to us on the phone when we tried to make a booking.
Craig W — Google review
We visit Pizzica every time we come to Margaret River for a holiday, it’s a must visit. It has such a homely atmosphere and feel - “a slice of Tuscany”. The wood fired pizzas are delicious, and they serve beers crafted by local breweries.

Beautiful place with Awesome quality Italian food. Everything was perfect for our visit. Must visit for great food and great vibes.
Praloyjit D — Google review
Honestly, very poor quality and way too expensive for what the pizzas are. They lack flavor and are low quality. We didn’t even finish them. They’re the most expensive in the area and it’s just not worth it. Margaret River has great food, but I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Rocio B — Google review
Great rustic location to enjoy wood-fired Pizza. We have been several times and always find the pizza delicious. Good service with chatty wait staff, nice atmosphere, good drinks and mocktails, food was served promptly in a busy environment, reasonably priced. Book in advance to avoid disappointment - no longer a secret.

recently had the pleasure of dining at Pizzica Italian Restaurant, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience! From the moment we stepped into this cozy establishment, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and the charming Italian chef himself. The ambiance immediately transported us to Italy, with its rustic decor, warm lighting, and an overall inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We decided to order a variety of dishes from the menu to fully experience what Pizzica had to offer, and every single item exceeded our expectations. The cold cuts were an absolute treat, perfectly sliced and served fresh with a selection of cheeses and condiments that complemented each bite. The pizza, however, was the highlight of the evening — thin, crispy, and bursting with authentic flavors. Each slice was a perfect blend of quality ingredients, from the rich tomato sauce to the melted mozzarella and toppings that tasted like they came straight from Italy. What truly sets Pizzica apart is the attention to detail and the passion of the chef, who took the time to interact with guests and share his love for authentic Italian cuisine. His friendliness and dedication to his craft were evident in every dish. The staff, too, were attentive and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring our dining experience was flawless from start to finish. Additionally, Pizzica boasts an impressive wine cellar with a selection of fine Italian wines. The staff provided helpful suggestions on pairings, enhancing our meal and making the evening even more special. The combination of delicious food, a warm and cozy atmosphere, and outstanding service makes Pizzica a must-visit for anyone looking for genuine Italian cuisine. I highly recommend Pizzica to anyone seeking an authentic Italian dining experience. I will certainly be returning soon to explore more of the menu and enjoy another wonderful evening!

La Scarpetta Trattoria is a charming Italian restaurant located in the heart of Margaret River. The vintage-chic eatery offers a delightful culinary experience, featuring homemade pasta, traditional Italian mains, and delectable desserts. The menu showcases authentic dishes crafted with the freshest local produce, from garlic sourdough bread and handcrafted pasta to wood-fired pizzas.
To be honest, atmosphere was so much better than we expected. Tartare was absolutely delicious. Angelica’s (I don’t know how to spell sorry) service was excellent. With her recommendation and warm hospitality, we had a delightful dinner. Definitely we will recommend our friends. ✨🫶🏻

Thoroughly delighted by our dining experience here. The restaurant is easy to find, with a warm and inviting ambience that sets the tone beautifully. Every dish we tried was thoughtfully crafted and full of flavour. We’ll certainly visit again when we are in town.

Superb customer service from Danielle and all his team, warm and knowledgeable. Good value and tasty steak AUD 48 with a generous helping of roasted potatoes. Kids chose the Pasta which was even better. Amazing Ravioli. Boisterous and loud atmosphere.
Julian S — Google review
Amazing pasta!! Highly highly recommend trying out the lamb shoulder parpadelle. The pasta was cooked to perfection and complex flavours balanced really well! 👍🏼 Amazing service! Initially beef tartare was served with stale bread but after notifying the staff, we got a fresh replacement with no drama. All ingredients are really fresh, especially the raw meat used in the beef tartare. Would say, simple ingredients done right! However, tiramisu was kind of disappointing. With it costing $16 and served in a small glass and no wow factor. Couldn’t really taste any espresso and it was drenched with liquid and heavily covered with chocolate powder on top which was a choking hazard - hence the 4 stars for food.
Sharon C — Google review
After a week of eating largely underwhelming yet overpriced food around Perth, Fremantle, and Mandurah, we finally lucked out. This casual and buzzy Italian place is a gem. Service team spot on, presenting well crafted and super tasty pasta and starters. Extensive and fairly priced wine list too. Highly recommended, reservations a must.

We had a hearty dinner at La Scarpetta Trattoria! The beef tartare was perfectly seasoned and the fillet steak and pasta were delicious! Ended of the meal with their vanilla gelato that light and airy, and above all wasn't too sweet!

A quirky, quaint building/restaurant on the main street in Margaret River. The food was a little underwhelming, but acceptable. The heritage features, service, and wine selection were the winners.

Margaret River Bakery is a beloved European-inspired bakery that has been serving up fresh pastries and top-notch coffee since the 1960s. Whether you're grabbing a quick treat, meeting friends for brunch, or just looking for a cozy spot to enjoy your coffee, this funky bakery has something for everyone. Their breakfast options are particularly popular, and visitors can also find them at the Margaret River farmers market on the last Saturday of every month.
This is an excellent place for breakfast. Came early about 7+, otherwise the queue will start forming and also the seatings are quite limited. Ordered the bacon and ham croissant and the beef pie. The croissant was very crispy and flavorful while the beef pie was chunky.

A few really great vegan options here. There is a vegan baguette and a vegan pumpkin bagel; both are pre-made with various vegetables in them and hummus as the spread. There is also a vegan vanilla and passionfruit cupcake. I had the bagel and cupcake - both were delicious. Great spot for a quick stopover. Didn’t get coffee but I imagine it would’ve been good too. Service was friendly and efficient.

We visited everyday we were in Margaret River and loved it. Coffee was unreal, we tried something different everyday and couldn’t fault it. Bread was fluffy, all bakery items were fresh, and the fresh case was full and vibrant! So reasonably priced as well. There was always a bit of a line, but don’t be discouraged, the team fly through it and know how to handle their rush.

We learned about this location and were delighted to have finally dined here. The bread is indeed excellent. Getting a table was difficult, but luckily we shared with a lady who was dining alone. The sofa seats look dirty and old, and they sink when you sit, which is quite uncomfortable.

El Toro Margaret River is a South American-inspired restaurant located near Memorial Park in Margaret River. The unassuming decor belies the exceptional dining experience that awaits visitors. The menu features mouth-watering options such as rump, striploin, Scotch fillet, charred half-chicken, Mexican street corn, pulled beef taco, and guacamole.
From start to finish, our experience at El Toro was nothing short of incredible. The staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality, attentive service, and genuine passion for what they do making us feel right at home. Now let’s talk food… WOW. Every dish was a masterpiece. The steak was perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and beautifully balanced with vibrant sauces and fresh vegetables. The second dish brought bold flavors and gorgeous presentation truly impressive. And to finish it all off, the dessert was divine creamy, rich, and packed with texture and flavor. You can tell there’s real care behind every plate. A huge bonus my friend is gluten intolerant and coeliac, and we were both so impressed by how many gluten-free options were available. The staff were knowledgeable and careful, making the whole dining experience relaxed and enjoyable. The atmosphere was cozy yet lively, perfect for a night out. We left full, happy, and already planning our return. ⭐ 5/5 for staff and service 🍽️ 10/10 for the food 📍 A must-visit gem in Margaret River!

We were a group of 14 and ordered large! We thoroughly enjoyed every drink and food item ordered. 10/10 Chris was our waiter for tonight he had exceptional service that we couldn’t fault. The attentiveness to both adults and children, he made sure everyone had everything they needed from kids colouring in pencils, drinks, water, food and even singing happy birthday to my partner with his heart. The cocktails were unreal. Favourite being the coconut margarita. The value of every meal was amazing. The chimichuri on our steaks was unreal. The food came out really quick and the atmosphere was great. I loved the quotes on the wall We will be back again

We walked past the restaurant near Woolworths and were instantly drawn in by the amazing smell from outside. After checking the map and seeing that they had steak—which we’d been craving all day—we decided to give it a try. And wow, it didn’t disappoint! The steak was perfectly grilled with that smoky charcoal aroma, and the sauce was absolutely delicious. The mashed potatoes were so creamy and rich—it tasted like pure comfort food. The seafood paella was also a hit: full of flavor with a rich tomato base, and the seafood (mussels, prawns, squid, chicken, and chorizo) was incredibly fresh. Definitely one of the best paellas I’ve had in a while! The fried calamari was crispy, fresh, and so tasty, and the cocktails were fantastic too 🍸. The interior decor was super unique—almost like a Mexican Día de los Muertos vibe, which might also be a nod to Halloween. The menu itself felt like a creative fusion of Spanish and Latin flavors. All in all, absolutely delicious and 100% worth it. Easily the best meal we’ve had on this trip! 😋✨

Nothing short of spectaculur. We ordered the beef rum, signature sirloin and the red snapper. All 3 dishes were absolutely delicious. They were able to cook their dishes to the best texture and softness, paired with the best sides and sauces. Shout out to the off-menu signature sirloin. The marble was balanced perfectly, and cooked to the perfect medium-rare.

We had a fantastic dining experience at El Toro! The food was delicious—especially the Scotch Steak, which was cooked to perfection. Every dish we ordered was full of flavour and beautifully presented. A big shoutout to the manager, Shawn, who was exceptionally warm, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. The kids also had a great time, which made the evening even more enjoyable for the whole family. Highly recommend for a relaxed and memorable Spanish meal!

The best Mexican restaurant ever! The vibe, the food, and the hospitality—everything was absolutely perfect!!! We started with the chicken starter, which was tender and matched perfectly with the sauce. For the mains, I shared the meat dish and paella with my partner. The meat was soft, and the veggies and mild sauce served with it were just spot on—100 out of 100! Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!

The writing is on the wall but in this case, it is NOT a warning of impending doom or misfortune it is a sign that you are going to have one of the best experiences and meals of your life. Yum Yum Yum!! Best meal and cocktails I have had in a very long time. We are a family of 4 , we were unorganised and didn't book ahead of our trip but when we called the staff were extremely accommodating and found us a table. Staff were so welcoming, helpful and very engaging. We made it for margarita happy hour which was a bonus, the cocktails were fresh, full of flavour and tequila. We decided to sample and share a selection of the small plates, Peruvian inspired oysters that were some of the best I have had in my life all the elements complimented each other, the Octopus you could taste the love that was put into it from the smokey hit from the coals, squid that was melt in your mouth (my daughter ate alot of this) Red bread if you like garlic bread this is better, the tres croquettas with corn and jalapeños were exactly what they described, cheesy gooey goodness. The kids meals were a great size, our girls ate most if not all of their meals and they are fussy, kids steak was cooked to perfection 👌 To top off the whole experience, the desert of churros was to die for. We will be back and recommending El Toro to all of our friends and family ❤️

I’ve been past here a few times during my trips to Margaret River but I’m glad this time around we made a booking for dinner there. The pizzas were both so tasty and light and we all really enjoyed it. The cheesecake was amazing too! Service was great and despite being busy the food and drinks came out relatively quickly.

We arrived in Margaret River on Mother’s Day without a dinner reservation, so we truly lucked out when the two of us were able to be seated at 4:45. We ordered the happy hour special — a pizza and half carafe of wine for $30 — and we got a scrumptious bufalina pizza with fresh mozzarella and basil. The Cab Merlot on tap was very nice. We also got a pint of IPA and splurged on Burnt Basque Cheesecake for dessert, which was fabulous. We loved the laid back atmosphere, the decor, the service, and the food. If we lived in WA, I’d be a regular.

They were out of many items and our options were limited. We made a selection, ordered it, and paid. Then that is the time that the clerk decides to tell us we had a 20-30 minute wait. We had 3 items that needed warmed up in the microwave, 3 coffees and a juice. They called our name and only gave us one item. It wasn’t any part of our order. Then they laid food at the counter and I asked who it was for. They told me another customer’s name. It remained there for 5 minutes untouched. It was indeed our order. They need to step it up.

Didn't like this place, they were running out of wraps, and my wife's bagel was burnt. We were made to feel that we didn't fit the vibe if the place. There are so many good cafes in MR, and so many other options.

UNIQUE PLEASANT CAFE We enjoyed our cafe and cake experience at the Sidekick Cafe situated next to the Supermarket. Outdoor seating is also available and easy access for those with walkers or wheelchairs. Coffee was smooth and tasty, not bitter. Be sure to ask for a mug if you want a larger cup. The cakes are delicious and homemade. Getting my sumptuous carrot cake heated was not a problem for the courteous staff. A casual comfortable cafe but I'm not sure about the modern appearance of no ceiling which exposes all the plumbing and beams. A delightful experience regardless. Easy to find in the main street of Margaret River.

Nice atmosphere. The staff must not have liked us because they got every order wrong and then turned their back in us when we left, even though they'd been so friendly with others who left before us. Very strange. It was a cute and cosy place though.

Delicious breakfast in the heart of Margaret River town! Taking a recommendation from locals, we visited Drift Cafe for an early Sunday morning breakfast. The menu had a fabulous range, with all 4 of us ordering different dishes, that were all delicious. A special mention for housemade hollandaise! Highly recommend for breakfast when in Margeret River.

We went there for brunch. It was a popular place. We were not able to get a table indoors so instead we were seated on the veranda outdoors. (This proved a bit too cold at first but then we figured out how to drop the full length “zip-able” wind screens which made all the difference.) We had the Mushroom Medley with Halloumi, the Potato Hash, and Flat White Coffees with Oat Milk. Both vegetarian dishes were excellent, so tasty. Excellent service. Nice ambiance inside if you can get seated inside. Average or medium pricing.

Modern Australian restaurant
Morries is a popular spot in Margaret River known for its modern Australian cuisine and cocktails. It has an industrial-chic ambiance with live music and other events. While many recommend well-known places like Muster Bar and Grill, Settlers Tavern, Swings Taphouse, and Miki's Open Kitchen, there are also hidden gems like La Scarpetta, an Italian Trattoria with a focus on Sardinian food.
My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at this incredible Spanish tapas restaurant. We were lucky to get a table by going early for dinner—by the looks of it, bookings are absolutely essential as people were getting turned away. The food was exceptional, with bold, authentic flavours. Every dish we tried was perfectly crafted and absolutely delicious. We were fortunate to have this gem recommended by a local. The service was fantastic. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves great food.

Each of the meals and drinks we had were delicious; full of flavour and unique tastes. The food came out quickly and was well priced. The restaurant itself was nice, well lit, had comfortable couches quiet and respectful The level of customer service could have been improved and elevated. The team should have introduced what the food was. when they delivered each plate to the table.
Jaidyn B — Google review
We had the duck liver pate, pork belly and braised beef cheek between the three of us. The dishes were really tasty and great quality! The cocktails (Rum Float and Bloody Mary), were also really good! We sat in the area by the door as it was a bit quieter than the main area, which had a few large groups. I'd definitely recommend a visit!

Could not be more in love with this place! At the top end of town, in the heart of Margaret River, this was a winner for me. From the decor, to the art and atmosphere, to the exceptionally delicious food made for sharing, to the wine list and service, everything was beyond on point. Like the book, "Tuesdays With Morrie" by Mitch Albom, on which this restaurant is themed, it stole my heart. I will definitely be back!
Anne F — Google review
Loved it from the moment we stepped in for dinner without a booking. Politely told we have a table available but you will need to leave by 7pm. No problems at all. Happy hour drinks delivered in short time followed by our delicious tapas type dishes….ceviche snapper, scallop, duck fat spuds, belly pork, broccoli and pumpkin dishes. Every one scrumptious and devoured heartily.

The staff we very accomodating with a special need that we had, having taken the time to read my booking note and prepare ahead of time. This meant a lot us. The food was impeccable. Much thought that had gone into the creation of the vegetarian dishes - like no other. Event the carnivores on the table even enjoyed them. :)

We had a wonderful night here at morries. The food was exceptional as to the wonderful negroni made by the expert barman. Tapas style share plates, efficient and friendly service. So glad we booked in a advanced. This place was recommended by @ Adie oh hey WA and @Sean Blocksidge Margaret River Discovery tours as a must visit when in the Margaret River Region.

Extremely Disappointing Experience Had high hopes for Morries Restaurant in Margaret River, especially as I booked it for my partner’s 30th birthday — but what a letdown. The customer service was among the worst we’ve experienced: unwelcoming staff, very poor hospitality, and long wait times to be seated even with a booking. The food also took far too long considering the price point. The restaurant itself felt cramped, with tables packed so tightly it was hard to relax or enjoy the atmosphere. Overall, a disappointing experience and certainly not worth the hype or cost. Would not recommend.

The Margaret River Farmers Market is a must-visit year-round Saturday market that showcases the best of local produce, flowers, and gourmet foods. It's not just a place to shop; it's an opportunity to connect with the producers and artisans behind the products. With strict guidelines for vendors, you can be sure that you're getting top-quality goods directly from the source.
Lovely local market with a genuine community feel. Lots of delicious food and the very best quality produce available.

My family and I were really impressed by the market! Awesome variety of stalls, friendly stallholders, great prices, had amazing experience there!

If you've never been, you're missing out. Fresh organic produce, great coffee and pastries.
Justin Y — Google review
Nice farmers market with a decent amount of stalls (maybe around 20 to 30). Selling almost everything from fruit n veg, bread, eggs, uncooked pasta, handmade goods, wines and spirits, coffee vans and some food. All produce and goods are locally grown or produced. Parking is very limited and gets extra busy during long weekends. Pets are not allowed.
Kimberly S — Google review
This is the only farmers market that I've enjoyed. Unlike the farmer's markets in Indonesia, which are indoors and mostly smelly, this one gives you fresh air and is outdoors with loyal people. I tried a chocolate and banana crêpe in one of the stalls, and it was freshly served and had a wonderful taste. There are only 2 people in the cart so it might be long to get your order when crowded. Mostly they use carts so if it's closing time, simply drive the cart and get it done. And I think most people don't like the opening and closing time here since it's open once a week for 3-4. But to be honest, I like this farmer's market. 4.9/10
Rainier A — Google review
We love farmers markets and the one at Margaret River is no exception. Everything looked good but because there was a limit to what we could consume and because we had no idea which stalls to choose from, we simply followed the crowd and joined the longest queues. We were not disappointed with our choices. Everything we are on the spot tasted fresh and the ones that we bought home to eat later in the day were also excellent.
CW T — Google review
When we in Margaret River we always go to the Farmer's Market. They start bright and early 07:30 until 11:30 only on Saturdays. Friendly people awesome produce and lots more. Be there early so you don’t miss out. The Nannup Cheese 🥳😋 so…. delicious!

Nothing for the kids to play on or with. 20 minute walk around and was finished looking/shopping. Couldn't see any tables and chairs to sit ,eat or relax. Over priced fruit in many stalls holders. Purchased Mull wine which is very nice . Not sure as a tourist if I would make the effort to return 🤔

Set along the picturesque Warperup Creek, guests can soak in stunning river views while enjoying amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, barbecue areas, and canoe rentals.
Very very nice, was surprised how clean and tidy the chalet was,i recommended a pay rise for the cleaning staff, but that could cause our rent there to become more expensive haha. We will be going back there again, for a longer stay. Even the wildlife was happy we were there, turning up on our porch the following morning after we gave some treats for some breakfast. Beautiful place ................ thanks for having us

We went there to celebrate my husband's birthday and its was perfect. Warm welcoming staff, perfect cute one bedroom chalet and the amazing scenic location. This is also situated walking distance to the town which is very convenient. Overall, we had a wonderful relaxing weekend and would definitely visit again.

My partner and I LOVE staying at Riverview! It’s walking distance to town and also right on the river, surrounded by trees and gorgeous walking trails. The cabins have everything you need to cater to a great stay, + the wild birds are so friendly, eating food right out of my hand! We will always come back here 🌳😊
Sophie S — Google review
For a seemingly modest park, Riverview Tourist Park punches well above its weight. Reasonably priced, even in peak season, well maintained and with all the amenities you could possibly need. We stayed in their one bedroom chalet which was well appointed and spotlessly clean. A two minute drive or short walk into town was handy, but located far enough away to be removed from the hustle and bustle. The park was quiet and serene, filled with bird song and beautiful flowers, the reception desk sold freshly laid eggs, and the best feature by far, was the fact that it literally ends at the banks of the river. Stunning any time of the year, but particularly during wildflower season, with the park offering canoes for hire. Thank you Riverview. Our stay was beyond my expectations and we will most certainly be back.

We stayed at one of the cabins at the Riverview Tourist park recently. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. The park facilities were excellent. Staff was very helpful. The location is close to shop and restaurants. Would highly recommend their cabin accommodation.

We really enjoyed our stay at Riverview Tourist Park. The receptionist was very helpful and welcoming, and the cabin felt just like home – cozy, clean, and comfortable. Sitting on the veranda was lovely, with friendly birds coming by which made the stay even more special. The location is convenient, close to Woolworths and other shops, though the walk can be a bit hilly – we used the car since my travel partner uses a walking stick. Overall, a peaceful, relaxing, and very enjoyable stay!

Great place to stay! Plenty of options available, this time I stayed in a well presented single motel room with queen size bed. Had everything I needed for a comfortable stay after long day out riding the MTB trails. Really enjoyed my time here, good vibes and great service. Thought the name was funny, popped in and got the gourmet box for 2 with Cajun seasoning. We paid $60 but it's totally worth it. Everything was spot on and would definitely visit again! Me and my partner both agree that it's the best fish n chips we had.

Squid and chips, and a croc claw🤪🤪!! I love that the squid here is not just calamari rings, like most places! Squid was delish, with the the lemon pepper seasoning!

I think the owners are amazingly friendly people. I loved the Salt and pepper squid and chips as well as the Barramundi fish and chips. Ordered for take out and everything was amazingly crispy and tasty! Loved it.

This place is amazing. The chips were crunchy and the squid cooked to perfection. A great selection of salads. Greek salad, Thai Salad and Cous Cous. Nice to have such variety in salads. Locally sourced produce makes this place stand out. Fish and chips looked tasty too. Tempted to drive from Freo to this amazing eatery every weekend for a tasty feed. Great service. The staff are so friendly.

A takeaway joint with some seating outside. Loved the beer battered fish and chips, chose the snapper fish which had a nice bite and was thick and juicy. The thick cut fries were pretty good as well. Preferred their fish over their signature squid & would recommend that instead.

Excellent snapper fish and chips here! The fish is fresh and the batter is not too thick and crispy. I can't help but to also finish up the fries

Brewery
Nestled in the midst of bushland and eucalyptus groves, Margaret River Brewhouse is a laid-back microbrewery that offers an impressive selection of craft beers and delectable food. The menu features a variety of dishes, including squid salad, lamb shoulder, wood-fired rotisserie chicken (requires 48-hour advance order), and an array of sides like duck fat potatoes and truffle cauliflower. This popular spot also hosts live music events for a lively atmosphere.
Not your typical brewery fare. Ate here a couple of times during our stay in Margs. Nice selection of Asian meals. I had the Gado Gado first time and then Squid salad on second visit. Portions are big. I really enjoyed the Squid salad which was full of flavour. The Gado Gado was also nice but the Squid salad was more to my liking. Mrs had the mei goreng both times. Highly recommend the food. The place was very popular on our weekend lunch visit. Seems it’s a place for young locals and their families to socialise. Has a nice playground for the kids. Was quiet on the Tuesday. Would recommend for a decent feed at a reasonable price.

Not really big on eating at breweries, but was pleasantly surprised with Margaret River Brewery. Have driven past this place many times and the carpark is always overflowing so decided to do a dinner visit. We just walked in ( recommend booking) and were found a table by the lovely staff. Not overly busy so ordering was easy . The food was amazing and different. Many Asian fusion inspired dishes , pizzas and fresh salads packed with flavour. We ordered a variety of dishes, beef ribs, Korean chicken, brewhouse salad. & cheeseburger roti to share .. WOW WOW Will definitely come again. Families with small children would love this, huge play area and space outside . ** So a bit of an edit : We went again on our last night in town .. Boys re ordered the ribs, not as great as a couple nights back. Flavour was there, just not as falling off the bone texture as before. I had the Japanese caesar.. very filling lots of rice unfortunately I couldn’t finish the pork, was very dry and chewy. I had pictured the pork belly to come in bite size pieces coated in some kind of sauce. And lastly we tired the prawn toast, loved the flavour and was a large serve enough for 3 people to share. Had to drop a star for the second night😞, but the service and atmosphere was still on point

A must booking when heading to Margaret River. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you are looked after. Lunch was really enjoyable and was washed down with a pint of In the Pines. Merchandise available to purchase and also take away drinks. Will definitely visit again when heading down to Margaret River. Also dog friendly which is a bonus as we had our dogs with us.

We've been to Margaret River Brewhouse a few times now, and it never disappoints! Came here for lunch and ordered the Korean grilled chicken, Japanese pork Caesar salad, and a kids' Hawaiian pizza. As always, the food was fresh, delicious, and generously portioned. The ambiance is just beautiful – surrounded by nature with a lovely relaxed vibe. It's also very family-friendly, with a big playground where the kids can roam and have fun. Even though it was quite busy, the service was quick and efficient. Definitely one of our favourite spots in Margaret River, and we’ll absolutely be coming back again!

The place fills up very fast even during off peak hours. We enjoyed the good food and beers amidst the lively atmosphere. It is quite family friendly too.

We had the grass-fed burger, chilli mussels, and grilled mackerel fish & chips — everything was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The burger was juicy and perfectly cooked, the mussels had just the right amount of spice, and the fish was light, tender, and perfectly grilled. Great spot with a relaxed vibe and quality food that really stands out. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
B M — Google review
Great venue, with plenty of outdoor dining, beer options galore, tasty food, and friendly bar staff. But be warned, it's always crazy busy. Like, bonkers busy. Parking onsite is a rare find, the lines to order are huge, and if you don't book ahead, you're unlikely to get a table. Definitely a must-visit venue in Margaret River, but as I said, be warned/prepared.

Love this place! The atmosphere is always very relaxed, great beer, service and food. My wings were delicious but the Nasi Goreng didn’t have many prawns/much pork belly in it. We will be back!

We don’t usually come down sound for our holidays but due to the recent virus we decided to do some wa travelling. We are so glad we stumbled across this place on google. The food was really amazing. My husband got the monster rib which he literally ate to the bone (and then wished he had more) and I had the crab pasta which was also quite nice. The beer and wine available was a good selection. I didn’t read the reviews before coming (which I always usually do) and I’m glad I didn’t. I’m not sure what others have experienced but I can say we definitely got great service and great food tonight. If you’re going to complain about price go to a fast food restaurant - I have no issues paying $5 for a beautiful kilpatric oysters because the quality of them was awesome! If we didn’t live so far away this would definitely be our number 1 place to come to. I know next time we are down here the first thing we will be doing is booking in!

Beautiful decor and ambience. Friendly staff. Slightly over priced. We ordered the Crab pasta, Crispy Pork Belly & the kids Chicken bites. I was disappointed with my pasta as was not very hot and was barely any Crab mainly filled with sauce and tomatoes I would have given a 5 otherwise. The pork belly was also minimal for $40. Nice cocktail.

Yesterday me and my wife went to Arc of Iris restuarant for dinner. We ordered 800g beef rib( enough for 2 ) it comes hand cut potato chips, sour cream and and side dish garlic bread. We really enjoyed our dinner. Nice and quiet atmosphere. Friendly staff great customer service. Highly recommended. We will visit again.

Restaurant has a nice welcoming vibe to it and it was real easy to make a booking online. The pork ribs were tender and tasty, they didn't skimp on the sauce. The serving portions was also quite generous. The barramundi was cooked perfectly however the steak was just a bit more rare when we asked for medium. Serving staff were really friendly and attentive. This place is on the entertainment book so you can get 25% off up to $40.

Dog + baby friendly! Quite a big covered alfresco area with heating, a lovely rustic atmosphere. Indoor it looked more upscale while still being cozy. We had an excellent dinner at Arc of Iris, we ordered the beef springrolls, the duck and the angel hair pasta (which we were highly recommended). The duck and pasta were perfect, our toddler couldn't stop eating it! The springrolls were a bit too heavy for me. We also had a lovely pannacotta for dessert. All the waitresses were so lovely and we just enjoyed the dining experience so much. Bonus is that they are on the Entertainment book so you can get a discount for premium dining. Will be back!

So wonderful we dined 2 nights in a row! My wife and I had a 2 nights staycation at Margaret River with our baby, and dining at this institution was the highlight. Both nights were busy but the waitress Carina was able to accommodate us. The ambient was cosy and relaxed with the live entertainment enhancing the enjoyment during dinner. We tried their signature half free range duck and crab Angel pasta the first night, and both were so delicious that we returned the second night. We tried the beef rib and tomato pesto pasta this time, and they did not disappoint, and even got the tick of approval from our baby. Carina the waitress was also exemplary in customer service. Definitely worth a visit

Restaurant
Teddis Big Spoon in Margaret River is a must-visit for Korean BBQ enthusiasts. The restaurant offers a diverse menu, catering to various appetites and diets, including options for vegetarians. Their premium set is a popular choice, featuring an array of beef cuts and the option of pork or chicken with rice, miso soup, and salad for two people.
An unforgettable Korean BBQ experience! We came to Teddi’s Big Spoon not knowing quite what to expect—and left completely blown away. This place has easily earned a spot on our list of go-to Korean BBQ joints. Everything from the atmosphere to the food and service was top-notch. The star of the show is definitely the meat. Every cut we tried was incredibly fresh, beautifully marinated, and grilled to perfection over real charcoal. The pork belly was thick, juicy, and crisped just right. The beef short ribs were tender and flavorful, with a deep, savory glaze that lingered in the best way possible. And the spicy chicken? Perfectly balanced heat and sweetness with just the right amount of char. You can tell they don’t skimp on quality—it’s premium cuts all the way. The staff were wonderful—friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. They gave us helpful pointers on how long to grill each type of meat, and even offered to help if we needed. Despite how busy the place was, service never felt rushed. There’s something about being able to cook at your table that makes the meal more interactive and fun, especially when you’re with friends or family. The vibe is relaxed but energetic, with the sizzle of meat and laughter in the air. The space is also well-ventilated, so you get all the wonderful smells without feeling overwhelmed or walking out drenched in BBQ smoke. The portion sizes are generous and satisfying—you won’t leave hungry. They’ve put real thought into creating an experience that feels indulgent without being over the top. It’s clear this is a place run with heart and pride in what they do. Teddi’s Big Spoon nails it. Delicious food, great value, and a warm atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. If you’re looking for a Korean BBQ spot that delivers on flavor and experience without the frills, this is the one. Highly recommended!

Really nice little Korean BBQ restaurant - recommend booking to avoid disappointment. Sat at inside table nearest door and it was very cold every time the door opened, but once bbq got going it kept us warm enough! We had premium choice for 2 with spicy salad, and it was more than enough, very full at the end 😀

This is my second visit here, the food here is incredible all the meat seasoned very well, the miso soup, onion dipping sauce and kimchi all absolutely beautiful the staff were very friendly and quick to help with any request. The only thing I have an issue with was the dessert, we paid $15 for essentially 2 little spoons of dessert, I would definitely NOT recommend getting dessert here massive waste of money however the rest of the food INCREDIBLE especially the chicken wings, they were quite possibly the best wings I’ve ever had

Quality cuts of beef at reasonable prices, the chicken was a pleasant surprise for us! The portions were generous and if you enjoy grilling your own meat Korea style, then this is the perfect place for you!

안녕하세요 !! I loved my time at Teddis Big Spoon, after travelling a long way! All that I’ve ordered was very filling between 2 people & my 1 year old. Anything I had left over, I had for takeaway. This is what I ordered— > Premium set for 2 people, choice of pork. Rice was delicious, absolutely loved the miso soup, all beef was very yum & (my personal preference) the spicy pork I enjoyed but I wasn’t completely hooked with the plain / non-marinated ones. Got the garden salad & ssam set (spicy) which I enjoyed as well. $99 for this whole pack— I find it very worth it if you like variety, aesthetic feel of having a semi-light meal & conversation with someone! > Japchae noodles I have been personally craving for a good Japchae dish! I was not disappointed and enjoyed having it mixed with the rest of the food we had. It is not spicy and I also offered to my child to try— which he liked very much with his steamed rice! It’s a potato noodles mixed with veggies and some meat. A plate that can be shared with others on the table! I had leftovers & took it home with me. > Kimchi Rice (Spicy) This was a dish I wish is served back up in Perth— exactly like this! I have tasted others but this had got me differently. It had sparked as my new obsession & craving once again! Personally, it isn’t too spicy for me, which is great as you don’t want something too hot to ruin the balance & taste of the meal. My partner, who is very sensitive to spice, had a try and he commented ‘it was spicy for him (as he took a drink) but not too over the top to ruin the meal.’ I will absolutely miss this dish as I travel back to Perth! I have been to quite a few Korean cuisine places, especially K-BBQ, and I will admit this is the most money I’ve spent in a K-BBQ restaurant (total approx $150 drinks included). Other locations I’ve spent at least $100 & under just for 2 people. But please note— I spent above amount to try much of the menu possible & we’re able to takeaway an amount of leftover food. Other restaurants were buffets, did not allow takeaway, are much higher priced with their sets, or did not offer such delicious-well presented variety.. In conclusion, I find this restaurant very well priced, very alluring & well presented, well-mannered & engaging staff, and loved every dish I ordered!! I speak highly of this little restaurant and has completed my day after some site seeing around Margaret River. Highly recommended to everyone locally & travellers!! I hope everyone enjoys it! Until next time! 감사합니다 !! 🫰🏼

The service, food, price and the ambiance are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Well marinated varieties of beef and pork complimented by chilli salads, kimchi, miso soup, steamed rice and condiments.
Stanley Y — Google review
This is certainly not real Korean BBQ. It was: expensive, small, and most importantly, not tasty. The best part is the miso soup and salad served with the meat. At Korean BBQ, they always serve a lot of different appetizers with the meat, plus the obligatory lettuce leaves in which the meat and appetizers are wrapped. That's not even the most important thing, but the fact that the excellent Wagyu was simply ruined by such sweet marinades. And the meat turned out sweet. The set menu was extremely small, and the marinade tasted like sweet kangaroo meat. But we came to eat excellent Wagyu, not something resembling kangaroo. It seems the owner is Korean and should know a thing or two about BBQ.

Great place for a coffee and a bite for brekkie, great service and staff. The fine foods they have is also a great place if you’re looking for specific items that you wouldn’t find in your regular supermarket, and it’s all priced very reasonably. Love it

Tried matcha here for the first time and was surprised they added cinnamon without mentioning it. Unfortunately, the combination didn’t work for me. The flavours clashed and it turned out to be a bit disappointing.

Nice friendly place a short walk from our Airbnb. Strangely the menu didn’t reflect what was on offer. However the food we ordered was good, tasty and reasonably priced. The staff are helpful and on the ball. Service was therefore quick. Dog friendly place too, so what’s not to like?

An amazing health food store off the beaten track in Margaret River that is a local's favourite, amazing staff and artisan fine foods, organic bulk dry goods and a little something for the sweet tooth that isn't that naughty but tastes like it is, highly recommend this place to anyone that is visiting ☺️

Headed a little off the main drag today to a local favourite which delivers great coffee very consistently. Using Yallingup coffee the espresso was a little thin but that is being picky. Overall a great experience at in a place that you might not expect to find one.

Takeout Restaurant
Thai Tamarind is an authentic Thai restaurant and takeaway located in Margaret River town. It offers good portion sizes and suits Asian taste buds well. The prices are reasonable, making it a convenient choice for those staying around town. Customers have praised the delicious Pad see ew, perfectly balanced red Thai curry, and homemade spring rolls. While some noted that the seafood in the tom yum didn't taste fresh, they still recommend it for a satisfying Thai meal in the area.
Accommodated a request for a vegan pad Thai which was very kind especially considering we ordered at around 8pm and it looked as if they were closing up. Generous portion of tofu and very tasty food in general. Would definitely recommend and the staff were helpful in identifying options on the menu that could be made vegan.
Alexandra L — Google review
Was craving for some Asian food and found this Thai eatery along Margaret River city. Food are all salty. Fried rice with chicken is the only dish that is fantastic. Their Tom yum soup are not sourish or spicy. Their green curry chicken is also a failure. Last dish is the cashew nut fried vegetable and the cashew nuts save the dish. If you have tasted Thai food in south east Asia, this is a no go place. Their prices are on the upper end and are more expensive than those in Holland.
Jiak P — Google review
One of the most disappointing Thai dining experiences I’ve had. The food was completely tasteless and lacked the vibrant, punchy flavors you’d expect from Thai cuisine. Every dish felt flat and flavorless, leaving us genuinely puzzled at how it made it to the table.
Dinesh B — Google review
The service isn't very good they didn't let me and my family move the table to sit together, they didn't order the fish and chips and the food is not good. I don't think you should go there.
L W — Google review
Got the Thai Tamarind crispy fish and Basil stirfry with chicken. Both were excellent, with fresh ingredients and tasty flavours. The fish was especially good, light and delicate texture with a light, crispy batter. A great option if you’re after something tasty and on the healthier side (lots of veg in both dishes).
Ablan — Google review
We got the fried rice, pai thai and fried spring rolls for a party of 3. Requested less salt version, fried rice was good, but too sweet for a pha Thai. Spring rolls a so-so. Service was great and had a lovely chat with the shop manager. Nice crews so you can share your food request so that they can try to make it right for your taste buds. Happy to find this place to fill our stomach.

Yahava KoffeeWorks & Kwik Koffee Drive Thru is a must-visit destination for coffee lovers in Margaret River. Founded by Alex Kok nearly two decades ago, this local roastery has become a staple along the Western Australia coast, with its cafes and drive-thrus extending all the way to Perth.
I had the pleasure of visiting Yahava KoffeeWorks in Margaret River and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of their coffee and the exceptional service provided by the staff. Anita and Stella were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about coffee, and they took the time to explain the different types of beans and brewing methods to me. They were also very friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The coffee itself was absolutely delicious. I tried a few different roasts and blends, and each one was rich, flavorful, and perfectly brewed. The atmosphere at Yahava KoffeeWorks is also very relaxed and inviting. It's the perfect place to sit down and enjoy a good cup of coffee with friends or family. Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great cup of coffee in Margaret River.

Great coffee tasting experience! Our host (sorry, I forgot your name!) demonstrated different brewing methods and explained the origins and flavors of each coffee. It was informative and enjoyable, making it a memorable experience for coffee lovers.

A haven for coffee lovers. As you enter the place, the aroma of roasted coffee beans being ground is striking. Complementary sampling of coffee varieties is really good. The quality of the readymade coffee available at their cafe is also unsurpassed. Adequate free parking is available on premises. Friendly staff is the icing on the cake.
Vimal R — Google review
A great stop for coffee lovers, offering an impressive variety of beans and blends — each with its own distinct aroma and flavor. The staff are knowledgeable and patient, explaining the differences between each type clearly and passionately. There’s also a coffee tasting area, which is highly recommended — it’s a fun way to find your favorite before buying. I ended up purchasing a few packs to take home. The place is spacious with plenty of parking, making it easy and convenient to drop by whether you’re on a road trip or just in the area. A must-visit for anyone who enjoys good coffee and a relaxed atmosphere.
ThianYong C — Google review
I’ve come here over the years and the establishment has definitely expanded… even doing barista classes now. Lots of blends of coffee and lots of options overall with a great menu. Pries are on par with today’s expectations.
Anthony S — Google review
You can sample three of their coffee varieties for free and learn interesting facts about the origin of the beans, the roasting process, and the optimal preparation. Personally, I find the coffee not strong enough if you're more accustomed to Italian coffee. However, it's still worth a visit; you don't have to buy anything.

A wet weekend in Margaret River? Get yourself to Yahava for a very good coffee. The hot chocolate could have been much more chocolaty.

Playgrounds
Rotary Park, situated at the northern end of Margaret River, is a riverside recreational area that offers a range of activities for visitors. The park features playgrounds, gardens, barbecues, and picnic facilities. Families can enjoy a day immersed in nature with opportunities for hiking on family-friendly trails and capturing memorable moments with a camera. Kids can explore the heritage steam engine Old Kate and engage in imaginative play on various structures within the park.
It is a great spot to stop and refresh yourself. Specilly if you travel with young family. It has barbeque facilities, clean toilets and parking. There are enough places to sit and have a meal together. If you interested can have a walking or ride on bikes as there are some trails. This is not a camping ground.
Prasanna E — Google review
The Rotary Park is off Bussell Highway just north of the main town centre at Margaret River. This is a good city park with riverside walking trails. We walked the South Bank River Trail Loop which is an easy 2.3 circular trail, good for families, dog-walkers and those who prefer to take it easy. You'll also find children's playground, BBQ, facilities, parking and access to the historic Early Settlement buildings and structures and late 19th-century Kate locomotive is on display at and around Rotary Park.

Beautiful, clean, peaceful and quiet park to take nice trail walks or runs. The main tracks are clearly marked out and I see that some people also create their own tracks for their own walks or hikes. There was ample parking spaces when I visited in a weekday afternoon though it does seem to get quite packed when I drove past the place on a weekend morning.

Fantastic little walk. I took my pram and it was comfortable enough to navigate the gravel. Beautiful walk through the trees, stunning river crossing and then a gorgeous broadwalk section over the river. Comes out next to a great Cafe too!

Loved this greenish park..! Nearby Cafe which provide for hiring bikes and fixing bikes, super clean and shiny benches, bbq area, next to the old settlement house, and walking track on the bush (2.5km). It was so amazing. Definitely worth it and must come to spend the day with kids.

Perfect for Play & Picnic Rotary Park’s Opportunity Playspace offers a fantastic half-day outing: Great for kids of all ages and abilities. Fully-equipped playground, toilets, BBQs, picnic spots, shade. Accessible paths and swing for people of all mobility levels. Pack a leash if bringing your dog—enjoy the green spaces outside the fenced area. Things to Keep in Mind Partially fenced: Playground has fencing, but entrances aren’t gated—kids should be supervised . Natural considerations: Located near the lake—watch out for snakes and swooping magpies in spring . Upcoming upgrades: Additional fencing, rubber surfacing, and new play elements coming by 2025–26 .

There are different walk trails that you can do at this park, and it’s very lovely and peaceful place to walk. Suitable for children too as there are playgrounds available. Incredible day with Sean learning all about Margaret River region. Sean is a fantastic tour guide and you learn so much about the area from his wealth of experience and local knowledge. The canoeing was just lovely and never in any danger of getting wet! Going into the bush and walking trails, cliff tops, incredible views, waterfall, and a pretty special vineyard and lunch as well. 10/10 for the whole day. I thoroughly recommend Sean’s tour. You won’t be disappointed.
Mia M — Google review
What a fabulous day around Margaret River. A small group of 6, expertly guided by Sean. It was like meeting up with an old friend (not that old!) who had moved to a new area and wanted to show us the best bits of his new home. This he did and he excelled in doing so. We started with a magical canoe on the Margaret River in a light shower ( but the speed we went, and with a brolly if it was too wet, meant the rain did not matter). Coffee stop, seeing a lovely waterfall, tasting local honey. The vine yard lunch in the barrel room and tasting 7 pretty premium wines was excellent. We finished with a walk to the coastal path, great views, lovely photos and he even managed to get a few whales to perform in the bay for us! A fabulous and knowledgeable host who made sure we had a great experience and he was not bothered by how long it took. It was all about having a great trip - Sean even took some lovely photos, which he sent, along with recommendations for things to do the following day. Thanks also to the other 4 people who made it an enjoyable day.
S P — Google review
What a great day out with Sean. His passion for this special corner of WA was infectious. It's hard to pick a highlight but canoeing on the tranquil Margaret River was pretty special. But then the whole experience was very memorable. With Sean's knowledge of the regions wine growing and Aboriginal history, he was the perfect host. The winery tour, tasting and lunch were great followed by a coastal walk up to the clifftop for a spot of whale watching and a photo op. Highly recommend.
Paul A — Google review
This was a truly memorable experience - we were blessed with a beautiful day - but it’s not like that is rare in WA! The day began with a canoe trip on the Margaret River - the canoes are easy to handle and very stable. Sean (your host) gives you full instructions. Because there are only 6 people on this tour, it’s a very personal experience and you get to know Sean and your fellow travellers quite well during the day. The wine part of the tour is a behind the scenes view of ‘Fraser Gallop’ - a smaller estate, but very high quality. The lunch and wine tasting is very enjoyable, and provided a chance to ask questions and chat with your group. The tour ends with some spectacular viewpoints over the ocean. Throughout, Sean is friendly, amusing and informative - he has a passion for the area and you get an insight into the geology and its relevance to high quality winemaking that wouldn’t be that easy to find elsewhere. He is very safety conscious and ensures that people with different agility levels can participate fully. A brilliant day - and worth the money!
Chris M — Google review
Fantastic Trip with Sean. If you just want a wine trip this isn't for you. Sue was a bit apprehensive about Canoeing but absolutely loved it as did everyone on the trip. The Off-Roading, through the bush was exhilarating and the coastlines we visited had stunning views. The wine tasting and food had a great twist which made it very special and Sean is knowledeble and passionate about the Wines and the West Australia culture. If there's only one trip you do this must be it!
Keith G — Google review
Would thoroughly recommend the Discovery Tour - Sean is a brilliant and passionate tour guide. It’s easy to see why him and his tours are ranked first in the Margaret River! If you’re nervous about the canoeing, don’t be. We were so lucky with the weather and had an amazing time. Sean is knowledgeable and has great links with the local community. If you’re looking for a tour with a bit more than just wine, do this!
Katy M — Google review
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Not just a wine tour, although I would say we did this very well too, but we truly made the most of the area. Exploring the river by canoe, checking out the birds and wildlife, finding out about the native trees, tasting honey and of course, learning more about wine production and then tasting some excellent wines with our lunch. This was followed by a walk along a coastal path, part of the Cape to Cape track overlooking some magnificent scenery (where we spotted dolphins). Sean, our guide, was experienced and knowledgeable and looked after us very well. Thanks for an amazing day!
Linda C — Google review
A great way to explore Margaret River away from the main winery tours and crowds. A highlight was the relaxing paddle along the river, followed by lunch then a walk along the coastline looking out towards the ocean. The small group of 6 ensured we had these spots all to ourselves. Our guide Sean was very knowledgeable and made the day fun.

A bit of a long walk from town center, but overall rooms are nice size although a bit old. Beds are very comfy. Just be aware that reception closes early

We enjoyed our stay here, room was clean and tidy. Nice pub that is located on the premises. The bedroom was quite cold as the heatpump was quite far away. The location of resort is about a 2 minute drive out of town. Honestly cannot fault it and would recommend overall. Thank you
Kelsie M — Google review
Friendly staff is a plus but Resort in the title might be a stretch. It was OK if you like a room above a bar with a band and active crowd that tends to linger and are more noisy in the carpark than the band was as well as a faulty fire alarm that woke everyone up 2 days in a row pretty early and a shower with such little pressure the water couldn't quite flow out the rose. It's definitely family friendly as you could hear from all the kids playing outside and the sound definitely carries into the room. Room was spacious and clean on arrival which was good as they only change linen and towels every 3 days. One word of caution is the bedroom door doesn't lock behind you. You have to depress the lock before leaving the room. We'll that's how it was for our room.
Dodwell P — Google review
We stayed here for 4 nights and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The staff at reception and the bar were friendly on the surface, but the actual service didn’t hold up. Linen and towels were never changed, even though the sign said they would be replaced every 3 days. We requested it, but it never happened. For a 4-night stay, that’s unacceptable. One evening we rang reception after hours to ask if we could reheat some leftover food. They said the bar would help, but when we went there the staff hesitated, claimed they were busy, and in the end just refused to do it. It felt like they simply didn’t want to bother, which left a really poor impression. The room looked fine initially, but air conditioning and hot water were inconsistent the whole stay. We were told parking was allocated right in front of our room, but other cars constantly parked there instead. At night, we also heard banging noises near the bathroom/toilet window, which was unsettling and disturbed sleep. On top of that, there weren’t even basic amenities like shampoo or toothpaste provided. For the price charged, we expected at least the minimum essentials to be available. Overall, the resort gave the impression that it could be a decent base for exploring Margaret River, but the lack of follow-through on basics like cleanliness, reliable amenities, and promised services made our stay frustrating and uncomfortable. For what we paid, it simply didn’t deliver, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless major improvements are made.

The Margaret River Mouth Viewpoint offers breathtaking views of where the river meets the ocean. The lookout is easy to access, and the scenery is stunning, especially during sunrise or sunset. Some amazing waves whilst we visited demonstrated what a top place this is for a surf. Probably too rough when we spotted as despite numerous signposted surf breaks no one was participating. The river mouth itself is quite a sight and a great photo spot. Plenty of parking and just great to watch Mother Nature.

Margaret River Mouth offers stunning views that make it a worthwhile visit, especially for those who appreciate natural coastal beauty. However, be prepared for super windy conditions, bringing a thick windbreaker is essential to stay comfortable while enjoying the scenery. Whether you’re there for a peaceful walk or to take in the dramatic ocean vistas, the fresh air and landscape create a memorable experience.

The menu features larger seafood dishes from various cuisines.
We stopped here for lunch mid week, the yellow fish curry was amazing and definitely worth a special trip just to have again! The squid salad, river plate and roast cauliflower were all delicious and very generous serves. Beautiful restaurant perfect for a family lunch.

I love this place! it’s super cozy and elegant at the same time. 😍 they have a huge bar and a few nice local beers on tap. I tried the IPA from beerfarm. the fish n’ chips were delicious!
Linda C — Google review
I’ve been to this place before and had a good experience, which is why I decided to come back. I don’t usually write reviews, good or bad, but I feel it’s worth it this time. We ordered at 6:45pm and were told the food would take about 35–45 minutes. I work in hospitality myself, so I understand what it’s like to be short-staffed or very busy (though in this case, the venue didn’t seem particularly busy). After an hour, our food still hadn’t arrived, while other tables who came in after us were already being served. By “after us,” I mean they actually walked into the venue later than we did. When the food finally came, it was very average — and in my case, it was just a salad, which feels quite ridiculous to wait over an hour for. To be fair, our waitress was really kind and did her best to make up for it. She offered us free drinks, but I wasn’t drinking and my dad still had half of his beer. She then kindly suggested giving us a dessert instead, but in the end no one came back to follow up, so we just left. This isn’t about the staff personally — they were polite and considerate — but there should always be someone checking in with customers from time to time, to make sure orders have arrived and everything is on track. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing, and I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

I made a booking for 4 on Saturday 18th Oct. I cannot praise the service by the bar staff who were friendly and the service was very quick. We ordered 4 fish and chips with sour dough bread and have to say it was the best fish and chips that I feel, is the best in Margs and that includes Augusta also. The batter on the fish was so light and tasty (3 large pieces), the salad very fresh and the chips freshly cooked and crisp. After the main meal we ordered desert of baked cheese cake and the other, a delicious chocolate type mousse (much better and than Mousse) with beautiful Hazelnut Ice Cream - both beautifully presented and delicious. We have eaten there many times and it never disappoints. It is a huge compliment to the chef for beautiful tasty and well presented food - Well done.

The river is located centrally but unfortunately within an accomodation setting meaning any gigs that are run there finish early and patrons are asked to move on quickly. Unfortunately on our visit there were fights in the crowds and difficulty with security in handling them effectively, leading to an atmosphere that felt tense. It’s a shame because the venue itself is beautiful and well set up for a good live band or gig atmosphere. Just hoping the staff can get on top of it in future.

The staff are so friendly and the array of tap beers and selections are adequate for a great afternoon in the sun. Plenty of value and shaded areas to mill under and enjoy a few cold ones. Food services where great and the food is above pubfood average.

I was very much looking forward to our visit yesterday (25thAug) about 4.30 pm intending to have an early evening meal. As we had our 2 dogs with us I went in to check that it would be ok to have them with us in the rear alfresco area. There was no one serving behind the bar and I went to the adjoining room to look for a member of staff. No one to be seen. I went to the far end of the bar to look if I could see anyone in the kitchen, no one. I then spotted a sign on the bar that read ‘ No service from here’ I banged on the bar to gain some attention and a female emerged from the kitchen. I asked if I could take the 2 dogs to the rear alfresco and she told me no, it was closed. I asked where we would be able to dine with them and she said I would have to eat at the front of the hotel. Bearing in mind the amount of rain that had already fallen and the threat of more to come that day, the tables and benches were all soaking wet, there is no cover to protect you from rain at the front whereas the rear has a roof which would keep us dry in the event of a further downpour. This made no sense to me and I found your staff member to be very uncaring about her customers. Needless to say, we voted with out feet and went elsewhere to dine.

Staying in Margaret River for a few days and headed to The River for a Sunday session afternoon. Amazing place that has so many big areas to sit and have a meal whether it be next to one of the three open fires, resturant, bar or out the back in the garden area. Something to suit everyone. Great food with BIG servings.

Steak house
Elliott’s Steakhouse, located in Margaret River, Western Australia, has quickly gained a reputation as a top-notch dining destination for steak enthusiasts. The restaurant is the realization of Mr. Elliot Doyle's long-held dream and culinary passion, drawing inspiration from his experience in the UK to present flavors and techniques from across Europe. Guests have raved about the exceptional dining experience, praising the warm hospitality and outstanding culinary expertise displayed in every dish.
Best ever waiter service! The lamb is superb and, my friend assures me, the steak was perfect! Try the cauliflower au gratin (cauliflower cheese), it is divine. Tasty, crunchy, cheesy perfection. Great wine and spirits selection, fast delivery of food to the table. Simply a brilliant place to eat.

I had a wonderful experience at this steak house. The food was absolutely worth it – the steaks were cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and served just right. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot for a relaxing dinner. What really stood out was the service – the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very comfortable throughout the evening. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience and definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for a great meal and warm hospitality.

Elliot’s Steakhouse was on our must visit this trip after being recommended to go and it exceeded our expectations. The staff were really pleasant and helpful, we chose to have the 30 day dry aged Ribeye paired with the carrots and chips. It was hands down the best steak we have had in a restaurant, this will continue to be a must visit on upcoming trips to Margaret River.

We came for the Sunday roast. The whole meal was so tasty but the gravy was the best🤤. 2 roast dinners and a bottle of red wine for $80. Will definitely return 😊

Was lucky to just make their opening weekend for their new weekend breakfast/brunch and can say this is going to be a success for the Margaret River strip once more people realise what they are offering. Simple menu with quality for the moment. Highlight is the Full English with Black Pudding. Chillie scramble, big breakfast burgers and more to start with at very reasonable down south prices. The space is built and fitted for their Steakhouse so the feel is up market but also allows for the brunch feel. Only thing I would say… bigger servings of egg :) that’s always a winner.

The best burguer that I ever tried!!! It was soft, and the flavour was amazing! Every Thursday they do the burger with the cheeky monkey beer!! I highly recommend this. We were lucky enough to been served by the manager! Guille was really nice and friendly and he explained everything!

We had an excellent experience at this cosy yet stylish restaurant with sufficient formality without being uncomfortable. Our steaks were delicious, in fact they were cooked to perfection. Definitely amongst the top three steaks that I have enjoyed in a restaurant. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Average steak poorly cooked - tasted like it was boiled. Soggy over seasoned chips. Average sauces made by just adding extras to base gravy, except forgot the peppercorns in the pepper sauce! Finished one glass of wine early with no offer of another or top up. Follow the locals to the pub across the road who do everything better

Thai restaurant
Restaurant
Located in the heart of Margaret River, Chang Thai Kitchen is a popular spot offering primarily Thai cuisine with other Asian and Australian influences. While it's known for its takeaway service, there are also limited eat-in seating options available. Customers praise the exceptionally fresh and flavorful meals served here. The restaurant is BYOB friendly, making it a great choice for those looking to enjoy their favorite drinks with their meal.
We were initially hesitant after reading a few not so glowing reviews and like to say those were complete baloney. We ordered the red Curry beef, cashew chicken l, spring rolls and every dish was absolutely delicious.

Food here is served in generous portions and the Tom Yum soup was tastier than a lot of others we've had in the past. The sizes of the prawns were also bigger. We arrived at 6 and was warned that there will be delays in food being served as they have a backlog of take out meals. We were not in a hurry so didn't mind the wait.

Pad med ma Maung stir fry and green chicken curry 10/10. Full of traditional flavour and both veggies and chicken. Big meals to feed over 2 people and well priced

Food was good. For sure! We had to do a take-away for dinner because we reached an hour before they closed. But it was a pleasant experience ordering despite the rainy day.

We intend to dine-in but was told they only do takeaway. We ordered tom yum prawn, pad thai, sweet n sour pork rice, fish cake and spring rolls. All food was good especially d sweet sour pork rice. The pad thai was a little bit sweet instead of savoury.

After having Western cuisine for 1.5 week, my craving for Asian food is at all time high. Stumble upon Chang Thai, I am super impressed with the authentic Thai food, green curry, sweet sour pork, omelette eggs. It was so good my wife persuaded me to have another round of dinner at Chang Thai the next day. The lady boss is super nice (usually taking orders at the front area). PS: u may have to wait for 45min to an hour during peak dinner hour, unless u are fine to takeout pre cooked dinner which is still piping hot.
Mark T — Google review
It may seem a little pricy but the portions make up for it. Tom yum soup was one of the better ones we’ve had. Pineapple fired rice was good as well - generous with ingredients and the pineapples were sweet. You have to be patient with your order though - it’s popular so they have a little trouble keeping up with demand during peak meal times.. would be better if they could manage expectations from the start by letting us know.
Chu W — Google review
We ordered some takeaway on the phone and were told it would be an hour. Well, it is busy in town currently. The food was excellent. I had fish cakes and veg spring rolls. Both were delicious. We shared a Penang curry prawns for a main with jasmine rice and loved it. We'll worth the wait.
