Amusement park
Water & Amusement Parks
Theme Parks
Gardaland Resort is a renowned amusement park located in Castelnuovo del Garda, Verona. Established in 1975, it has gained international recognition and is considered one of the top amusement parks globally. Situated on the shores of Lake Garda, it spans 46 hectares and features a wide array of attractions and themed areas suitable for all ages. The park offers numerous shows daily, themed restaurants, and beautifully landscaped surroundings.
Gardaland Park offers an intense and unforgettable experience for the entire family. As evidenced by the fact that two days were not enough to do everything, the park's enormous size guarantees an endless variety of attractions and activities. Convenience and accessibility are the name of the game at Gardaland. Entry is exceptionally fast, and within the park, you’ll find food stalls and restaurants on every corner, so there’s always a place to rest and eat. Additionally, the park is technologically advanced and offers two useful apps: one for easy navigation inside the park and another for downloading photos taken on the rides, which adds to the experience and provides fun souvenirs. The variety of attractions is indeed for all ages, but it's important to note that most rides are suited for those 100 cm (3.3 ft) tall and above. Therefore, it's wise to plan accordingly. Even so, the park provides a diverse experience for both parents and children. As mentioned, the most worthwhile option is to purchase tickets directly at the box office. In conclusion, Gardaland is a highly recommended destination. It's a very enjoyable experience for parents and children, and it is highly recommended to take two days if possible, to have enough time to enjoy everything this vast place has to offer.

We had an absolutely fabulous day at the Gardaland! You feel like in a fairytale, and all the roller coasters are very exciting! 😍 I recommend going on a (rainy) weekday, so the queues are shorter and you manage to see everything. Feel free to skip the Jumanji Adventure ride though, it’s not quite worth a 40+ minute wait.
Anastasiia K — Google review
Another amazing amusememt park for kids and older as well. Rides get pretty busy with the nice weather, like in every resort. I wish there was a better overview what each ride offers - we waited 90 minutes for Jumanji adventure, which was absolutely no advanture plus it was all in Italian. Other than that, only 4 rides required height over 140, few over 130. Make sure to check these requirements before going. Also, buying tickets outside od the official venue office is cheaper so look for those selling points in the city.
Katja T — Google review
We visited Gardaland on a Wednesday and had an amazing time! 🎢 The waiting time for each ride was less than 15 minutes, which made the whole experience super smooth. The official app showing live queue times was very helpful — it helped us plan our route efficiently and enjoy more rides. The park is clean, beautifully themed, and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and organized, and there were plenty of food options and rest areas. Both the kids and adults had a blast — from the thrilling roller coasters to the fun family attractions. Highly recommend visiting on a weekday if possible — short queues, great atmosphere, and so much fun! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yan Z — Google review
I am sure that a family would love this place...my wife and stayed at the Gardaland hotel, and rode the bus to the park in the morning (bus runs every 16 minutes) We love roller coasters and these did not disappoint. The atmosphere is very family friendly and the park is very well cared for (it's clean!) over all a great experience.
Paul R — Google review
Fantastic for kiddies as there is a great balance of calmer rides with ease of motion while still holding very good production value. The adult rides too are equally fantastic. I hold the overall experience below Europa park however and wouldn't go too far out of my way to visit it.
Aaron C — Google review
So much fun, there's something for everyone. We also went during weekday in October, there was minimal queue and wait time even on popular rides. Absolutely recommended visiting if you have kids and are in the area.
Hendy O — Google review
The park is beautiful, maintenance is superb, all clean, well taken care of. Halloween decoration was super nice! Prices are very high as usual in amusement parks. Rides are really exiting with many options.

Aquarium
Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium, inaugurated in 2008 and located near Gardaland's main park, offers a captivating interactive journey to explore creatures from freshwater and saltwater habitats worldwide. The aquarium features 40 themed tanks showcasing over 5,000 creatures from a hundred different species. Visitors can marvel at sea lions, clownfish, starfish, and other fascinating marine life in perfectly recreated environments.
We hadn’t planned to visit here, but the combo ticket we bought included the aquarium—and we ended up loving it. Inside you’ll find a wide variety of unique fish, plus a walk-through tunnel where sharks and other species glide right over your head. The exhibits are thoughtfully designed, with several interactive stations for kids. My favorite feature was the activity where children color a fish, scan it, and then watch it swim across a giant digital aquarium on the screen.
Hila — Google review
Great aquarium. Visited during weekday on sunny day, no lines or huge number of people. Fair prices compared to size of park. Parking at large area of Garda land, take far right and you can park close to entrance. Buy your tickets online, saves money and waiting line.
Vincenzo — Google review
I had a truly great experience here. Some of the sea horses were among the most beautiful and fascinating I have ever seen, gracefully swimming around in their tanks. The aquarium also hosts impressive large sharks and playful seals, making the visit both exciting and memorable. All in all, it is definitely a must-visit attraction if you are already traveling to Lake Garda, as it adds a unique highlight to the trip.
Samuel W — Google review
This is one of the best aquariums I have ever been to - the variety of animals there was spectacular. I strongly recommend visiting if you want to see a different perspective of aquatic animals. (Note: I could not add al the photos and videos because Google would not let me)
Victor P — Google review
Nice smaller aquarium. Lots of variety, nice there's a café at the end with plenty of seating. Air conditioned, so it's a great break on a hot day. Kids are sure to enjoy it!
Richard — Google review
The place is a bit of dissapointment. We were expecting to see much more. They still have a lot of different sea species, but most of the times you see the biggest water tank from few different angles. The outdoor show was full already 30 minutes before the start, so if you want to see it, make sure to be there early enough. But if you are looking for something to spend an hour or two on rainy day, this can be intresting for you. Car park is 10€, so keep that in mind if you are planing for a short visit.
Iztok — Google review
Myself, my wife and our almost two year old son visited Gardaland Sea Life. It was amazing. Our son loved it especially. It’s great for kids. Our son started to cry (very loud) about half way through and one very kind staff member came over and distracted him with a toy. Then he brought him over to the tank and told him all about the fish. There is also a section where children can colour in a fish. You scan the page and then the fish appears on a screen where you can see the coloured fish swimming around. Would recommend to anyone with or without kids.

Bar
Sunset Bar Beach Pacengo is a delightful destination nestled along the stunning shores of Lake Garda, specifically at Spiaggia della Guglia. This sandy beach offers a picturesque setting just south of Lazise, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoyment. The Lungolago della Guglia promenade leads you to this beautiful location where the crystal-clear waters invite you for a refreshing swim. At Sunset Bar Beach Pacengo, guests can indulge in delicious food while soaking up breathtaking views.
An absolutely great place for a celebration, a romantic date or a relaxing meal/drink. The sunset terrace is incredible, with the most spectacular view over the beautiful Lake Garda 🌅 ⛵️ Very friendly, helpful and professional service. We came here for dinner for my son’s 13th Birthday, and our group of 12 people had an excellent experience - the waiters were super helpful and accommodating, the food was very nice, the view from the terrace was amazing. Highly recommend! A real treat

Absolutely stunning sunset views! The atmosphere was incredible, and the music really added to the chill vibe. Drinks were a little pricey, but worth it for the experience. Definitely recommend for a romantic evening or a relaxing night out with friends !!!

Love this place! The staff are all friendly and make you feel so welcome. They are always happy to accommodate you in anyway they can. Food is great, really good selection including some amazing smoothies. The view is incredible and it is such a great place to be. Particular thank you to Alessandra and Bruno for making us feel extra welcome.

We came to the Sunset Bar a number of times during our stay in Lake Garda. We came here for lunch and for drinks at night and we all really loved this place. It has a really laid back vibe, staff are really friendly and the prices are reasonable. Would really recommend here.

Great spot to relax, have a drink and a pizza. Live DJ made it that bit more of an experience. Have to agree though the service was slow and whilst staff attentive enough there seemed to be a bit of guess work who was having what. Our pizzas took a while to arrive but we were not in a rush so didnt mind. *Back 3 years later and still as good as it was. Now even better as like make bars just take receipt and pay at till. Really speeds things up for staff and customers.

Amazing place and amassing team! I could not recommend them enough. We have been here for 3 weeks and had food here every day.
Paul S — Google review
Good food, great view, the only thing I dislike is that after 7PM the waiters forgot about the terrace at all and focused on the inside. I had to go for the deserts menu, wait 15 minutes for the deserts to be ordered. Otherwise, everything was excellent. I recommend the location to anyone, couple, family or group.

Lady working there made our day better. She was amazing, service was amazing and food was delicious. We forgot to ask for you name but we wanted to say thank you. 🫠🤭🫣🤗🤗

Italian restaurant
Locanda Gallehus is an elegant restaurant offering thin-crust pizza and Veronese fish recipes, set against the backdrop of lake views from a hillside garden. Visitors have praised the passion for high-quality Italian cuisine, with standout dishes including pizza, fresh grilled fish, and a variety of starters. The friendly and professional team ensures a pleasant dining experience, while the old traditional building adds to the comfortable atmosphere.
Visited the restaurant twice while visiting Garda. The team is friendly and professional and the food was super tasty. Highlights: beef tartar, ravioli and gnocchi. I want the biggest fan of the pistachio pasta, but that it's a matter of a personal taste. I would also recommend to take their lemon sorbet with vodka together with the deserts( thank me later). They have a really nice garden outside which is really fun to sit at during the summer.

Magnificent! Pure passion for good quality italian food. We have been here twice a week while our stay in Lazise - it’s just worth it. The service was so friendly and so courteous. We enjoyed different meals including, pizza, fresh grilled fish, the starter variation “chef Gallehus” and so on. No single dish was just ok. Each of the dish made us “wow” Even the dough of the pizza was like “what is these” consistency, topping and price performance -🔝 The sashimi- and raw fish dishes just blow us away. Definitely a come back soon location. Everything is topped with a awesome view of the sunset from the garden Ah, one more thing, we don’t have kids but liked the way how friendly the staff treated other guest kids!

The restaurant is located in an old very traditional building. As a guest you easily feel comfortable. The staff is friendly and speaks English. The food is delicious and the price quality is definitely reasonable. We ate seabass, pizzas, pasta with truffle and pasta with pesto. Desserts were also very enjoyable. There is free parking on the premises.
Stefan L — Google review
we don't like it. tired interior of the restaurant, old dishes, furniture needs to be updated. food is very average. studied the wine list for a long time and so could not choose a good wine. Loved the garden and lake view. the rest is just an average tourist restaurant. if you change the furniture and change the chefs, the restaurant has great potential. I'm sorry but I can't recommend.

Il Paperonero Pizza-Bistrot is a popular spot known for its delicious and unique pizzas. The restaurant offers a variety of gourmet recipes made with fresh and natural ingredients, including vegetarian and vegan options. The cozy atmosphere makes it perfect for a romantic dinner, especially at the downstairs tables. A great place to eat very good pizze. Fresh ingredients, gourmet recipes and a lot of love. We loved the balance of tastes, and the kick here and there. Definitely a place we will remember and talk about for a long time. Great options for vegan and vegetarian people. If you are looking for a romantic atmosphere, prefer staying at one of the table downstairs. Book in advance of you want to be sited outside!

Wow wow wow. Best Pizza ever! Fresh, tasty and great „components“. Nice ambiente, lovely service, what can I say… try and enjoy it. Greetings Felix!

Fantastic! The pizza and drinks, the service and the overall atmosphere! If you are in Cola, definitely try this place! But be smart or be prepared to wait - it is recommended to reserve a table, because it was very popular on a Sunday night ;)

Fantastic pizza, original and natural ingredients. Red and white pizzas are equally nice and made in stylish fashion. Black sesame is used frequently and great olive oil also. As appetizer I would suggest delicious bruschetta or caprese di bufala. Also you can’t miss with La bresatella. There are four different types of soups served before main course- la zuppa di verdura is simply great. For really hungry people there is nice choise of desserts- tiramisu, new york cheesecake, fragole e ricota, semifreddo al pistacchio.

If I could give it more than 5 star I would. Best pizza in lake Garda area, worth the extra drive! Service was great, but the pizzas, might be the best pizza I've ever had, and that's a big claim.

Park
Parco Natura Viva, located between Pastrengo and Bussolengo near Lazise, offers a unique experience with its Auto-Safari Park where visitors can drive through and observe lions, tigers, monkeys, and various bird species. The park also features a zoo housing a wide variety of animals and an impressive dinosaur park with life-sized replicas.
Great zoo experience at Lake Garda! We were genuinely impressed by this zoo. The grounds are spacious and beautifully maintained, with plenty of room for the animals. You can tell that animal welfare is a top priority here – the enclosures are large, clean, and provide lots of shade. The animals looked healthy and well cared for, and many were easy to observe without feeling like their space was compromised. There’s also plenty of shade along the walking paths, which makes the visit pleasant even on hot days. The layout is clear and well signposted, and everything feels thoughtfully arranged. The restaurants on site were a pleasant surprise – good food, reasonable prices, and a nice variety to choose from. One small suggestion: it would be great if the large playground had more shaded areas – especially for the little ones during the midday heat. All in all, a fantastic visit and a great day out for all ages. We’ll definitely be back
Alexander L — Google review
Gorgeous park! animals look happy and healthy. It's very large and unfortunately we couldn't see it all cause it started raining heavily and we had to leave 😔 but definitely worth a visit! There's also a fun kids park inside so you can have a bite while the kids play and enjoy some great live music 😊👌🏻
Jodi H — Google review
Took us 4 hours to complete as a couple walking around at a normal pace. If you bring your kids it will easily take an entire day, the place is massive and has a lot to offer. The animals have a lot of space and you can tell they are taken good care of. Can highly recommend visiting!
Benjamin H — Google review
A must-visit! Parco Natura Viva is a beautiful nature park with great habitats for animals. I highly recommend adding the photo safari option (a small extra charge) – together the park + safari ticket is only €29 and absolutely worth it. My tip: go in the afternoon hours when it’s less hot, for an even better experience.
Simo B — Google review
The park is huge and nicely organized, I was here during the summer so most of the animals were outside and visible. Some of the animals are hidden so you cannot see them, for example lions (there is only one window from where they could be seen) Overall, the zoo is great!
Jakov P — Google review
This is really one of the best zoos that we have ever been to. We were thoroughly impressed with the amount of space that the animals had and the quality of their environments. Most signs were in both Italian and English. The food was not only good but not overpriced like some zoos. It was very hot when we visited though and I do wish that there had been places to fill out water bottles. The Zoo was very easily accessible from Verona by bus.
Scott M — Google review
Absolutely great park! We started with the Safari by own car and continued walking in the park. The park is decided into areas, with corresponding animals. There are sufficient places to eat, drink coffee and toilets. For a hot sunny day 90% you can walk in the shade. The animal areas are well maintained and cared for. Buy your tickets online from official website, saves money and ones you bought the park tickets, you get a link to book the safari. We spend 5 hours in total and still didn’t see everything. So we will visit again. Visited on a Monday within high season, still easy to walk or see animals front row.
Vincenzo — Google review
The place includes both a safari and a zoo, and you can visit each of them separately. The safari is not very large, but it allows you to see animals in a natural-like habitat. The zoo section is quite spacious and organized by continents. There is also a dedicated area for extinct animals (such as dinosaurs), as well as a sunroom featuring butterflies, snakes, reptiles, and more. It will take you at least several hours to explore the entire park. There are a few kiosks inside, and you can also bring your own food and enjoy a picnic there.

The thermal baths Parco Termale del Garda are a popular destination for visitors to the Italian region of Lombardy. They offer warm rooms with whirlpool tubs that is filled with thermal water, giving guests the opportunity to relax and enjoy the soothing effects of the hot water. The park itself is home to many different types of plants and animals, making it a great place to spend a day off.
I thoroughly enjoyed this place. The pool water is warm but not hot, then there are separate hot tubs inside the pool. There are lockers and a changing room, bar, coffee, and pastry shop. Lockers for rent for 3 euros. Bring your own robe, towel, flip flops, and change of clothes. Robes for sale for 30 euros.

Absolutely amazing!! Soo relaxing and enjoyable. The scenery is breathtaking, the baths are large and warm and the staff is very helpful. You can shower there before you leave which is very convenient. Highly recommend this place to relax and unwind 👌🏻👌🏻
Jodi H — Google review
After a telephone inquiry about the thermal baths and sauna area, when it was confirmed that they were open, we agreed to accept the price of €40 for everything. At the cashier's office, we were told that the saunas were closed, so we paid, saying that we accepted that. However, the impression of the entire thermal bath was very low, considering the price ratio. Yes, the park and location are very beautiful, but otherwise it is not worth the price, keep in mind that it is a natural swimming pool and even the buildings with changing rooms and the buffet are well below the level of what you would expect for this price. After 1.5 hours, we left in disgust. They do not have a lower entrance fee here, for example for 2 hours.
Olga K — Google review
Why charge more at the entrance versus paying online?? If you search on Google Maps you can find sites online for about €6 less than paying at the gate. At the entrance the charge was €40 but online I paid €34.20 which I did on my phone as I stood outside. Management, do yourself a favor and charge everybody the same price. I'm sure you're also paying a commission when people book on third-party sites, so I really don't get why you are both giving away so much money to third parties plus charging less online when you could just charge less to begin with and everybody would be happier. If you're paying your employees to be at the gate anyway, why not just let people have some happier human interaction for once instead of pushing everybody to do everything online. That would certainly be more aligned with a theme of wellness that you promote with a thermal park. Not to mention the additional €5 fee if you want to use a chair.
John T — Google review
Definitely worth every penny. My wife, 6 year older daughter, and my self enjoyed 6 hours here. The park is beautiful. The water is waaaaarm/hot. Everything is clean. Pretty. Comfortable. We were here in the high season (late July) and there were surprisingly few people, which was nice since we didn’t feel crowded in any way. Would definitely recommend this for somebody who wants to swim in beautiful clean chlorine-free water, in something that feels like natural lakes, with little waterfalls, caves, and beautiful fauna all over.

We found this place unplanned, when we could not access Lago de Garda beach anywhere because of camping or whatever… the June 11 was super hot 30 degrees, we was tired and hot, did not know where to swim and we came here around 18:30 both tickets for two 33 e each and had amazing, quiet Spa in open air ain termal water with 36, 37, 39 degrees sarounded by pain trees and almost no people, we had our spa chill afternoon, we stayed til 21:00 but ypu can stay til 22:00 or 22:30 :) you can take your own food and drinks, there is a snacks shop and cocktails inside, children family friendly, spacious and shadow ow sunn beds, all included in the price. Showers, wc, hair dryer. Just bring your towel, slipers, soap or shampoo, but it might be available there. Restaurant works only in the weekends. Just amazing chill place in the nature. You can choose other things packages with inside sauna, massage or other.

Highly recommended day out for the family. Wonderfully warm water for bathing. Lots of water jets, hot tubs and a new extension to the little cave. Now much larger and with a beautiful skylight and ambient lighting. Good sized shallow area for kids to play with smooth gravel on the bottom. Even the main pool was shallow enough for our 8 year old to stand. Sun loungers are an extra 5€ or tables and chairs are included for free. Gorgeous gardens provide plenty of shade. Glasshouse has toilets, changing, lockers, well stocked café with lunch, coffee and gelato. Air conditioned relaxation room upstairs in the glasshouse. Parking is about 5 minutes walk down the street but has plenty of spaces, 5€ for full day. Tickets are discounted if pre-book online.

Castello Scaligero di Lazise is a small medieval castle located in a picturesque lakeside village. The castle, with its six towers and battlements, was reconstructed in the 13th century by the Scaligers. It boasts a beautiful park surrounding it and offers scenic views of the lake. While it is privately owned and can only be admired from the outside, visitors can still appreciate its historical significance and take leisurely walks around the area.
The scenery is beautiful and suitable for bringing children. There are many geese by the lake and the souvenirs are also very cute. There is a large parking lot outside, which is very convenient You can stay here for two hours, it's very comfortable!

A place worth to see, because it's a building well preserved and restored and transformed into a great museum with a lot of exhibits.

Lovely place to visit. The town is really nice with lots of shops and restaurants

Visited here on the boat we rented out from peschiera, took us about 30mins to get here, first time boating so don't know if that's slow or what, took a while to moor in the harbour but eventually got it tied up somehow, first timers, had a walk around town which is pretty cool and had some lunch by the lake, worth a visit if in boat, we only had the hire for 4 hours so by the time we got back we just returned to peschiera

IT looks very nice from the outside. I had no chance to visit it and I am not sure if that is even possible because I have not found entrance with tickets. I have seen 1 main gate but it was closed. However eveything around was quite nice and it is definately worth to see and walk around. All the old Castle walls around the city are in very good shape and they create nice feeling that you are still in the middle ages with direct access to the Lake.

Dogana Veneta, also known as the Venetian Customs House, is a historic building in Lazise dating back to the rule of the Serenissima. It once housed a small fleet of boats for traffic control and now stands as an elegant conference center and popular wedding venue on Lake Garda. The building holds significant artistic value with its 14th-century frescoes in the church of San Nicolo and a shrine displaying a Madonna from the 13th century.
Beautiful waterside venue, excellent for company parties and large dinners.

Small historical trade house right on the mouth of the small port. The building has been turned into an event center, but the architecture is nice to look at.

This restaurant is in a great location next to the lake and in downtown Lazise. The staff are extremely friendly and can speak many languages, for sure English and Italian. The food is excellent from taste and quality, I would definitely recommend it!
A wonderful "waterfront" restaurant a stone's throw from beautiful Lake Garda. Delicious cuisine and excellent friendly service! Italian hospitality at its best! Indulge in classic vitello tonnato, outstanding feather-light homemade gnocchi, crab linguine and seafood pasta. Very reasonable prices.

Food was fine but service was a little arrogant. I asked how big the portions were and they told me they would be pretty small so I ordered a main dish as well. I wasn't able to finish everything which wasn't to the liking of our server (he didn't realise I was able to understand him when he was asking his colleague in a very condescending tone why I didn't finish the food). Also: The fish was full of bones. We still enjoyed it because of the view 😉

Excellent restaurant in the old Customs House, accompanied by fantastic service. The menu was impressive and the items we ordered were beautiful to look at and tasted amazing. I had the tuna, which was a particularly large portion - no tiny portions here! - and the Rosemary ice-cream with candied bacon and zabaione was incredible! Thoroughly worth a visit if you want a memorable meal.

Travelling from Australia, I am blown away by Italy, meeting people is always nice, but meeting people who go out of their way to show you what Italy and their food are all about is another level - my experience here was next to no other, and I will come back each time I'm in Italy just because the service the food, the location is nothing like anything before. Well done for exceeding my expectations in every way Giovanni - a true gentlemen, even larger heart to entertain and showing us delicious food. See you soon.

Seafood restaurant
La Taverna da Oreste is a charming seaside restaurant that perfectly captures the essence of Italian dining. Nestled by the old harbor, it offers stunning views of the lake and nearby church, creating an idyllic backdrop for your meal. The menu features a delightful array of classic meat, seafood, and pasta dishes, along with generous sharing plates that cater to every taste. Guests rave about the fresh raw seafood and expertly prepared risottos, all beautifully presented to please both the eyes and palate.
Great seafood place with excellent and friendly service, quaint location at the old harbor with a view of the beautiful church. The menu is enticing and offers something for every palate, the portions are surprisingly ample. We shared a starter, had a risotto and closed off with lemon sorbet and were very happy and satisfied.

Italian restaurant
Ristorante Al Castello offers a charming dining experience situated at the edge of the city walls, providing a spacious courtyard for guests to enjoy their meals. The menu features delectable dishes such as grilled trout and spaghetti with clams, all served by the efficient and friendly staff. While dining in the garden during summer is delightful, it can get quite warm in the early evening; however, water cooling fans are available for comfort.
Everyone enjoyed the food they ordered. The location in the garden in summer is nice, but in the early evening it is still very hot. They do have water cooling fans setup to try to help. I really like the no reservations policy. The service was very friendly and attentive. It's not really their fault but the place is very popular and so can feel a bit hectic with so many people coming and going. There was no WiFi. Pretty expensive overall but I guess you pay a bit for the location.

Ristorante Al Castello Review We chose Ristorante Al Castello for a dinner for two and it was a remarkable experience in every way. The restaurant is located in a castle with an antique touch that adds a special charm and creates a fairytale setting. The atmosphere is warm and elegant, with discreet background music that perfectly complements the tranquility and refinement of the place. The staff proved to be attentive, kind and very well-trained, offering useful recommendations from the menu and constantly ensuring that we felt comfortable. The food was excellent – tasty, balanced and carefully presented dishes. Everything was fresh and cooked to a high standard. For a full dinner for two, the bill was around 90 euros, a price justified by the entire experience. I confidently recommend Ristorante Al Castello to those looking for a special evening in a historic setting, with refined food and impeccable service.

Lovely setting. Food was above average. manager seemed professional and accommodating to get you in and sat down. but …… After a good 30 min waiting for anyone to come and see us at the table the sides we ordered with the mains came out 15 min before the food and when we politely asked for it to be returned with the food (please ) as it will go cold it was taken away and then returned instantly by our assigned waiter and slammed on the table giving us no option to discuss. When the food eventually arrived (15 min later) it was served by another rude waiter who tutted and gave a staring dirty look when we tried to to relieve him of one of our dishes (being helpful) he was carrying as he clearly seemed to be struggling and as we couldn’t understand what he was describing the dish to be (angrily). The pasta wasn’t served or offered with any Parmesan cheese ( a first for us in Italy) and we didn’t have the time by this point to ask and wait any longer for anything. This place has a lovely location but they are clearly overworked and unhappy in their work. It was a birthday occasion so very disappointing. The manager apologised for the behaviour but offered nothing but a apology and still took the service charge and the waiters tip (20 euros built in charge) after agreeing it was unacceptable behaviour from his staff. They Clearly don’t care about repeat customers. Just a smash and grab approach for tourism. It’s a shame But hopefully they take on board the feedback and improve the experience for their future customers. Decent food , very poor service Good luck!

This place has a great location/appearance and this is the only thing that draws the customers. My family and I went here for dinner… the server had the worse manners along with sarcastic comments and service did not appear to hold any importance. The bread was too hard to eat and we were unable to finish it. We ordered the picanha and it came undercooked, we ordered medium-well but it was served rare. He never checked on so I ate what I could. Upon paying for our meal, we were asked how was our experience and as we pointed out the issues, the restaurant owner supported the employee stating “Oh, that’s how he is….he’s a funny guy” and “must of been a language barrier”. Don’t be fooled by the look of the restaurant and atmosphere.…look at the other reviews regarding the service and quality of food. We wish we had done so before eating there.

Pizzeria Trattoria Fantasia is a delightful dining spot that captures the essence of Italian cuisine and hospitality. Nestled in a vibrant atmosphere, this trattoria offers an inviting experience where friendly staff make you feel right at home. Diners rave about the delicious pizzas, which are often highlighted as some of the best in Italy. A Wonderful Return to Taverna Fantasia! We recently returned to Taverna Fantasia in Italy after some time, and we were absolutely thrilled to find that everything was even better than we remembered! We are two families with children from Croatia, and we truly love Italy especially the amazing Italian cuisine. It was such a joy to see that the same wonderful staff is still there, especially the lovely Mrs. Željka, who was genuinely happy to see us again. Her warm welcome made us feel right at home. As for the food once again, we were blown away! The pizzas are simply the best we’ve ever had, the pasta was delicious, and the service was top! There’s always a great atmosphere and plenty of fun, making it a perfect spot for families. Taverna Fantasia continues to be one of our favorite places in Italy, and we definitely plan to come back again!

Stumbled into Fantasia not far from our hotel, and mamma mia – what a find! The pizza and pasta were so good we considered ordering seconds (purely for research purposes, of course). The tiramisu, suggested by our wise and charming cameriere, was a heavenly finale. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better – boom – limoncello on the house. Bellissimo! 10/10 would “accidentally” end up here again.

Pizza of great quality. When we visit Lazise or area around we would definitely come back to Ristorante Pizzeria Fantasia!!!

We had to wait 40 minutes for the starter, some ham with burrata. Not particularly advanced to do. And not so many customers. Add to that unpleasant treatment and 12% in service charge. Then no one in the staff was directly encouraged to do anything extra. Choose another restaurant instead, we will do that next time. The food was mediocre.
Per P — Google review
Good restaurant in general, nice people, ok food, portions are not very accurate, some dishes very large, some really too small. Depending on the day or your face you get an extra service fee for 12% of the amount. Smoking was very much allowed, but that’s normal in italy I suppose?
Peter M — Google review
Staff is very friendly. Pizza Fantasia was very delicious. If it's busy you may have to wait a bit longer but we didn't mind. The Gnocci came earlier than the Pizza, maybe timing could be improved that everyone can eat together. Unfortunately the Bread was dry and that good but I haven't had better experiences in other restaurants so I'll give it a free pass. Summed up, I'll highly recommend it, we'll come back next time we're near by! :)

Movieland Studios is a family-friendly amusement park located in Lazise, Verona. It's part of the CanevaWorld Resort and features movie-themed rides, attractions, and entertainment. The park offers an immersive experience with American-style film sets where visitors can watch spectacular actions performed by professional stuntmen.
This is truly a fun and unique amusement park, featuring complex rides unlike those found in other parks, many inspired by classic movies. You can take pictures with numerous staff members dressed as famous characters. We visited in April mid-week and experienced no queues at all. The park was clean, well-maintained, and we had a fantastic time. In addition to the rides, there are several entertaining shows that can be enjoyed even without understanding Italian.
Hila — Google review
I am extremely surprised by this park. For me it is unique. There are many details and entertainment. It is suitable for children over 100 cm. In total, there are 24 attractions in the park, only 3 of which are for over 140 cm. The shows they organize throughout the day are impressive and will leave you breathless. The US ARMY show was incredible. We visited the park on a hot day. Kudos to everyone who made the waiting areas for the rides shaded. There are cooling systems installed in various places. There are many restaurants and cafes in the park where you can eat. They also sell donuts, ice cream and fruit. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to visit Caneva Aquapark. If you are staying in Peschiera del Garda, there is a free bus to the park that you can catch from the station.

We visited Movieland Studios on a Sunday and found it to be a great value for money hidden gem! The park may be smaller than some of the mega theme parks, but that’s part of the charm — it gives you a more relaxed, fun-filled experience without the huge crowds. Here are a few of the unique rides/attractions that really stood out: • The truck-stunt “Studio Tour Truck Ride” (also known as Magma 2.1) takes you through real stunt sets at high speed. • The “Kitt Superjet” speed-boat ride on the lake-set, part of their Waterworld themed area — something you don’t see at many parks. Other highlights: the queue times were very reasonable, the atmosphere was lively yet not overwhelming, and for families with kids (or with mixed ages) this park offers a nice balance of thrill + fun + show-elements. In short: if you’re looking for a less-touristy alternative and want something different in the theme-park world, I’d highly recommend giving Movieland Studios a go! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I went with my family. It's good to organize yourself from the beginning. Know exactly what you want to do. When you're standing in line to enter an entertainment point, it's good to be patient, they also have waiting times. You can take your drinks and food from home. It was great.
Valentin M — Google review
Definitely my favorite amusement park in all Italy! I saw it growing over the years and even though it already reached quite a lot of popularity long time ago, the owners are still constantly investing in new attractions, experiences and thematic areas. Basically, it’s like having a piece of Universal Studios near Garda lake. A true gem in Italy. This park has it all, from Thrill attractions to family friendly rides, even reaching Scare houses and live stunt shows! They literally have stuntmen who will take you for a boat ride or get you a lift on a military truck. Additionally, Movieland often organizes seasonal and special events like American Beer Festival, Halloween, Christmas… with no extra costs on the ticket! Keep an eye out for them as they’re incredibly worth it. A final recommendation, don’t miss the daily US army stunt show performance. I don’t wanna ruin you the experience saying more, but trust me, these guys are fire! 🔥
Andrea P — Google review
Visited during a weekday which was not very busy so we had time to visit many attractions and rides. Shows are professionally performed liked the KITT speedboat ride and the Rambo show. Disaster and Magma are also great rides. The price for a day is very worth it.
Patrick M — Google review
Caveat to my 5 star rating; It's for families (4 stars for everyone else) I did not have high hopes for this place seeing as it was so close to Gardaland i was thinking it would be a few false walled streets, a few Italian takes on American food (alla Wild Wild West, blah!) and a couple of rides for tiny kids and the rest that we wouldn't be able to go on. I was so wrong, the place is massive, the food was surprisingly good and reasonably priced (we ate at Daytona RACEturant and were served by robot waiters. I will say that I found it refreshing that there were places to sit everywhere, where people need to wait for others on rides, just random tables and chairs under shade and at every entrance and exit - I loved this even if I didn't take advantage as much as I would have liked (too busy!). Y'all people need to sit when they have been waiting in line and walking all day. We have a one child of 100cms and one of 120cms and apart from like 2/3 out of the 24 attractions (about 5/6 out of 24 for the little one) - we could at least in part enjoy them all. I will say that I'm not sure if 100cms is really right for some of the more action rides (magma 2) but my kids loved being whipped from left to right, just hold them tight and try not to shake the baby. Some of the rides were a little worn and old fashioned but there was a nice mix of more modern 5D experiences and classic rollercoasters/rides but the thing they excelled in was the shows. I was not expecting the shows to be any good but I was proven wrong in the first minute and they just got more spectacular as the day went on (don't miss the USA army show, they throw a plane - THEY THROW A PLANE!). There were stunt people, pyrotechnics and speedboats for that one, live singers and dancers for others and they were all very good. the spectacles were spectacular, some as good as anything I've seen in America in the big parks. As I said before, I think this place is great for families as a lot of the rides and cinema experiences are kid friendly and that worked for us. I've never been to a place where even our little one can do everything with us and we didn't need to try to manage our day around separate activities for her and her brother so this was a rare pleasure. For just older people on their own, it's still good but be prepared. We will definitely be going back, I loved it.

Caneva Aquapark, situated in Lazise, is a family-friendly waterpark offering an array of attractions such as tube and chute rides, a lazy river, adult pool, and dining options. As Europe's first themed water park, it provides a tropical island ambiance with captivating music, tropical flora, and white sandy beaches. Visitors can enjoy crystal-clear lagoons for swimming and breathtaking slides reaching up to thirty meters high.
This place is really a great location for a family vacation. Several interesting attractions, quite well-organized and with enough restaurant options and toilets. Important notes from my side is to arrive at the entrance no later than 09:45 to be the first in the aquapark, take the sun loungers where you have an umbrella and go straight to the first attractions. You will wait the longest for the crazy river so go there first. The restaurant offer is ok, it is at the level of McDonalds and KFC and it is great that there is also a fresh corner with fruit, it is really great. All in all, if you are nearby, you like water attractions, it is worth visiting.

We spent the whole Friday at Caneva Aquapark. Overall, it was a fun experience, and the whole family enjoyed it. Parking costs €7 and lockers are also €7 — card payment only. Unfortunately, the biggest attraction was closed for maintenance, which was a bit disappointing. There were quite a lot of people, but surprisingly, we only had to queue for one attraction — the rest of the slides were available with minimal waiting times. If you’re planning to visit, we recommend arriving right at opening time (10:00), as the park closes at 18:00 and the hours pass quickly. There’s a decent food zone — we chose the menu option, which was €12 per person. Not bad at all. The only downside is that the park feels a bit outdated — a full renovation would definitely make a difference. Still, a great day overall!
Andrii R — Google review
Fun day out, the time flys by when you're there so it's worth coming for opening! Although it was a weekday we did have to queue up to 30 mins for some slides. The majority of slides are for thrill seekers, they are very intense! The black hole 2, they make you weigh yourself in front of everyone to decide whether you can go down or not. If you know you are over 80kg and want to avoid being weighed in front of everyone and being turned away then do not attempt to go on this slide. Luckily, the rest of the slides did not have a weight limit from what we saw. There are many food and drink spots dotted around and fairly priced too, however, there are areas where you can eat your own food. There are lockers as you come in for €7 which we found very useful throughout the day. There are plenty of free sun loungers dotted around but can get mostly taken by midday. It is very confusing where to get rings from for slides, you have to find the end of the slide and queue there to then walk up to the start with your ring. I hope that makes sense! Life guards weren't monitoring very well, kids constantly jumping the queues right in front of them and many people doing dangerous things down the slide and having nothing said to them. There are no clocks around the park so be sure to check your phone or take a waterproof watch with you. A positive was that it was my birthday and I got into the park completely free of charge. I only visited the aqua park so can't comment on movie land.
Becky S — Google review
Caneva – fun concept, but absolutely avoid during peak season! The park looks great and offers some cool, original water attractions. But: the crowds, long queues and wait times completely ruin the experience. Lifeguards are glued to their phones, barely watching the pools. The wave pool works for just a few minutes every hour – very underwhelming. After a full day, there's no proper place to shower or change – only a few cold outdoor showers, no real lockers or changing rooms. Bathrooms are in terrible condition. Great idea, but poorly managed in practice. Very disappointing.
Kinga — Google review
Liked it sooo much!!! We did all of the slides at least once besides the most scarry one. We were lucky to visit in a not crowded day, probably because it was not that hot day with rain expected in August (it did rain for an hour which we didnt care). Only one facility had a long queue but later not even this one. Big variaty of slides and facilities for different ages and extreme levels.
Liran A — Google review
Absolute blast from start to finish. Caneva isn’t just a waterpark—it’s a full-day escape where adults get to feel like kids again and kids run wild with glee. The whole place runs like a well-oiled machine: clean facilities, well-marked attractions, and enough shade and seating to keep parents sane. The rides range from mellow to maniac. We hit the big slides first—pure adrenaline and soaked laughter—then drifted through the lazy river to cool down. The wave pool is a riot when it kicks in, and the pirate-themed kids' area is genius. You don’t need to overthink anything here. You show up, slap on sunscreen, and enjoy the chaos. Food’s exactly what you'd expect—burgers, pizza, ice cream—and honestly, it hits the spot when you’re dripping wet and sun-baked. Staff were friendly, lines moved fast, and despite the crowds, it never felt overwhelming. Five stars, no question. If you’re in the area and looking for a fun day in the sun, Caneva delivers. Bring water shoes and lose your dignity on the vertical drop. Totally worth it.

It was a good environment, I went in August expecting a lot of people but the park and the queues weren't that bad.

Of all the places people willingly visit, Canevaworld Aquapark must rank among the most awful in Europe. First an enormous line to get into the park. Then an enormous line to get a changing cubicle. Then another enormous line to get a locker. Then an enormous line for a drink (actually two lines: one to pay, one to actually get the drink). And of course: an enormous line for every single water slide. Simply far too many people crammed into far too few attractions. And the attractions themselves? Besides water slides the park has little to offer: A lazy river disguised as a traffic jam. Beach chairs occupied not by people but by towels. Lifeguards clearly not very busy with life-guarding. Unsanitary sanitary facilities. A wave pool that offers waves only once an hour (and nobody can tell you when). And three so-called hot springs… filled with freezing cold water. To top it all off, the entire park lacks a single patch of shade to sit under. I normally love visiting tropical water parks and amusement parks with my son - his excitement alone makes it worthwhile - but this one was truly horrendous. Stay away! Stay away! Stay away!

If you're looking for an adrenaline-pumping experience, Medieval Times is the place for you. You'll be separated into different coloured teams and will watch knights on horseback compete against each other while attendants bring you food and drink. The show is both loud and crazy - not to be missed by anyone travelling to Lazise with children.
We had a lot of fun, the kids are not allowed bang the plates and cups at home so this was the perfect excuse to let off steam. We made so much noise to cheer on the blue knight. The food was great value for what you got, we all enjoyed making a mess and one of the few meals everyone enjoyed on our holidays. The constant fill up of drinks was a nice surprise. Only complaint was the getting in on a busy "knight!" it was full. Lack of tomato ketchup and mayonnaise for my son, who ran out pretty quick for his fries. Be prepared for how loud it is in here. Staff seemed helpful and friendly. For 40 each it was great value was considered.

An awesome and truly special experience! We arrived with low expectations, mainly planning to see the show, but left pleasantly surprised—enjoying both the delicious food and the great atmosphere

Amazing evening. It's very loud so if you don't like loud noises I'd avoid. It was a very engaging event where everyone gets evolved. The food was amazing they've definitely perfected that, we got bread with olive oil, soup, chicken with herby potatoes and apple pie with ice cream for dessert. Unlimited drinks they are constantly walking round fill up your glasses. €39 euros per adult €25 euros for under 140cm Great show fun for all the family. Definitely recommend 🙌🏻

I had such great expectations for this show and it was meh.. The drinks were warm and you only get Pepsi, water or beer. The soup was lifeless The servers could not keep up so we never got food on time and I had to eat dessert while the full plate of chicken and dry cold potatoes was still there. The food could have easily been better but it wasn’t. The chicken was decent but thank god I brought cutlery from home. Then the narration was problematic. Very loud at times and although there were a few words said in English they forgot about it very fast and it was mostly in Italian making it hard to follow. I suggest that you just have a screen with subtitles as it is clearly staged and that is ok. In summary it was an experience but hard to enjoy when you pay 40€ per person and the food and service was so underwhelming. Please serve the drinks cold Please give vanilla ice cream with the apple pie not some lemony thing. Make the potatoes tasty A pot of gravy to dip the chicken in would be lovely. Improve the timing on the serving. Thank you…

Horrible dangerous noise that kids make with metal plates smashing them on the other plate or to the table in order to “cheer” for their knight, followed by extremely loud screams all 2h how long is the show. It’s a sound torture I couldn’t stand. Regardless cheering it seems that the show is set up so they already know which knight is going to win. You get the whole chicken on your plate to eat it without any fork or knife as it’s the point of medieval dinner. So much food wasted as kids couldn’t eat not even 1/3 of the chicken. Desert was good and staff very kind.

Do not go there! It is loud. No louder. You still not imagining the right level of noise. It is hell on earth for your eardrums. And of course, no refunds, obviously, we were not the first to complain. There is a warning sign, it is not accurate. Could be noisy at times. No it is a jet-landing-in-your-house-loud. This has nothing to do with the normal noise a show makes. It's the drumming of metal cups on metal plates in a hall made for echos. You have been warned. Came to see the show, but preferred to keep my ears you know, hearing. Son just broke down crying, before the show even started. Never seen, I mean never heard anything like this noise level. O, and not a responsible person on site. What in case of any emergency you ask? Not sure, you would definitely not hear any alarms going off in there.

Wash your hands before you come here as you will be eating with your hands. There are no knives and forks supplied. You have to eat and drink very quickly. Very little time to eat and drink what is served as the dinner setting is cleared very quickly. You will be eating in very low lighting and the food comes all separately. 1 small triangle of flattened bread. 1 small dinner roll. 1 ladle of soup. 1 small scoop of wedge style chips. 1 very small roast chicken. 1 small scoop of ice-cream & a 1" strip of strudel. My chicken was good while others was dry. The chips were extremely dry and could not be swallowed without ketchup. Party of 8. Show was very good. The 2 small children in the group left the venue hungry.

The line at the entrance is very long, and they keep people waiting in the rain just to make extra money from photos. The food is tasty but served in very large portions. The event itself is relatively short and entirely in Italian, so if you don’t understand the language, it can be a bit difficult to follow.
