In our vacation we recently stayed at holabay resort panglao! It's very fantastic and we enjoyed swimming there pool. The staff is friendly and always smiling. Our room was nice and very clean we feel comfortable. Also they have a free and delicious breakfast. The resort is very near at the airport and walking distance to alona beach. This resort is highly recommended for your next travel adventure.
NO TV, NO TELEPHONE, FOOD ARE NOT NICE, STAFFS ARE OKAY BUT NEED MORE TRAINING & THEY MUST KNOW HOW TO COMMUNICATE PROPER ENGLISH (WE WILL NOT NOTIFIED THAT THERES THE FREE SHUTTLE) BUT THEY CHARGED us 400 pesos for the transfer! No ICE, and NO free Coffee at the Room, no Fridge, but Room are good, clean and spacious. HOPE you improve your hotel more so we can come back again.
Had a very disappointing experience with Holabay. Because of the typhoon there were no OceanJet trips to Bohol, so I asked to reschedule my stay to next week on the same days. Instead of helping, they told me to add ₱11,000 since rates for the new dates were “higher.”
What makes this worse is that only after I gave up, posted on Facebook to give away my stay for free, and found someone willing to take over my booking, they suddenly offered me a 25% discount. If they had extended that offer earlier I would have gladly accepted and rebooked directly with them.
Hotels should support their guests in difficult circumstances not take advantage by inflating prices and withholding fair options until it’s too late. Sadly, this experience left me with a very negative impression of this resort and I cannot recommend them to other travelers.

Holabay! was a great experience resort for us, also for family or other groups. They have nice and spacious pool and its definitely perfect for relaxation. Their rooms is very clean and comfortable, they have also complete amenities. The staff is friendly and approchable.They have also free breakfast and their food is good and delicious. The location is near at the airport and alona beach.I highly recommend this resort.
Good Hotel very clean and good size rooms. Staff helped me organised a special gift. Basic breakfast not really good. Shuttle transport very expensive. We got charged 400 peso for a very short trip (approximately 3-4km) to another hotel. We previously paid 600 peso to another taxi for a trip more than 30km away so we felt that the charge was inflated by the hotel. Lots of power cuts at the hotel and no backup generator. Beers not cold and no ice was available
I'll never travel to Panglao without this trip planner again
