De Vere Cotswold Water Park

We had such a wonderful time at De Vere Cotswold, it was a short visit, but truly one of the most relaxing getaways we’ve had in a while. We went on Saturday, November 1st, and from the moment we arrived, the peaceful surroundings and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a perfect evening . We spent most of our time at the Lounge Bar, and it was absolutely beautiful the ambiance was elegant yet cozy, creating the perfect space to unwind, chat, and enjoy the evening. We started off with a few cocktails, all crafted by Samuel (Sam), who was an absolute star behind the bar. His knowledge, creativity, and attention to detail were outstanding. Each cocktail was expertly mixed and beautifully presented you could tell he genuinely enjoys his craft. We tried three different cocktails, and my personal favourite was the Bramble perfectly balanced with refreshing, fruity notes. A special mention also goes to Johan, another absolute champ who looked after our food service. He was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, offering great suggestions from the menu. On his recommendation, we tried the special chicken wings from the Lounge Bar and they were absolutely delicious! Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and bursting with flavour definitely one of the highlights of our meal. The rest of the food was equally impressive delicious, well-presented, and truly satisfying. Overall, our experience at De Vere Cotswold was fantastic from start to finish. Though our visit was short, it was relaxing, memorable, and left us wanting more. We can’t wait to return for a longer stay and explore more of what this beautiful venue has to offer. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing escape with excellent service, great food and drinks, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
