New Brewery Arts is a vibrant creative space housed in a former brewery building that was rescued from demolition by local artists. The venue features craft shops, studios showcasing local artists' works, and hosts workshops for both adults and children. Visitors can explore exciting exhibitions in the galleries, participate in various craft workshops such as ceramics and watercolor painting, or engage in creative writing activities. Additionally, the site offers a cafe and shop where visitors can connect with craftsmen and artists while enjoying art exhibitions.
Is this the best coffee in the UK? Having travelled extensively in the old and new home of the best coffee, Italy and Australia, I have been searching for great coffee. This cafe serves the best I have had in years. Thank you
Ian W — Google review
Fantastic arts centre with a beautiful shop selling high quality crafts. Ceramics in particular were stunning. Busy cafe selling great food. Other artists studios to visit and regular one off and regular craft workshops. I was a bit disappointed in the nearby accommodation- more of a basic youth hostel with bunk beds and communal kitchen. Parking unsatisfactory

What a wonderful place the lucky people of Cirencester and visitors have here. Our first time visit here, and in the main gallery you find an impressive collection of artisan pottery, jewelry and more. Resident artists, another gallery plus a great upstairs cafe should make this a must visit . As a former hobby potter I was particularly interested in the large range of the studio pottery on display. The quality of designs, glazing techniques and inventiveness is superb. And yes, these wonderful items are for sale too, at reasonable and fair prices. Tactile objects to use, to display, cherish and even to gift or pass on. It's humbling to think of the many many hours, the passion, love and dedication needed to develop these skills. These artisans work in their studios all over the country, and here they have a wonderful space and friendly knowledgeable staff to showcase their work. As far as I know this space and building is a charity going back to the 1970's. The founders must be proud that their vision is continuing to thrive in this beautiful market town. And we will be back again as well.

For the past three days my grandchildren and I have enjoyed an inspirational series of crafts workshops. These were brilliantly designed as stand-alone sessions but also formed part of a wonderful story linked to Orpheus and his magical lute. Thank you so much to the brilliant Alice and Karen for organising these and to Brewery Arts for having the wisdom and insight to fund them.
Sue B — Google review
This is wonderful place to browse and buy handmade arts and crafts. It's a lovely space with displays, artists in residence and a nice cafe. The staff are friendly and helpful. Best place we have visited in the Cotswolds for some beautiful items made by local artists. A great advert for local is best!!!!

Beautiful, light filled building with a great shop with cards and handmade crafts and gifts. Lovely café food upstairs. Gallery with varied exhibitors. Makets on site. Brewery Carpark very close by.

New Brewery Arts is a real gem. Fantastic workshops and courses for adults and children; a shop and artist studios with high quality beautiful handmade gifts for all budgets, including ceramics, paintings, textiles and jewellery and some of the best cards and wrapping paper in town. The on site cafe serves lovely cakes and light lunches. 1 minute walk from Brewery Court carpark. Don't miss it.

Specialty Museums
The Corinium Museum in Cirencester, also known as Corinium, houses a significant collection of Roman artifacts. The town was once a major Roman settlement and the museum showcases reconstructed rooms, interactive displays, and videos that bring this era to life. Among its highlights are stunning floor mosaics, including a 4th-century depiction of Orpheus charming animals and a 2nd-century Jupiter column.
Popped in with the family after checking out the market and shops. Friendly staff and the reception area is well presented. Toilets are on site but a bit tucked. The amount of Roman history is outstanding. There are two floors to cover with plenty to see and read. There is also a rolling interactive display with several short stories to choose from. The tickets are all day so if you wish to pop back later you can do so.
Exeter T — Google review
Excellent exhibits with great educational elements! The whole family enjoyed it. The people were very informative as well.

I told one of the staff that the mannequins looked too real and were a bit scary, and then she kindly showed me around the exhibition and told me some stories. All the staff were so nice and helpful, and I learned a lot about the history of Cirencester. It’s one of my loveliest memories in Cirencester. Thank you very much!
Traveling P — Google review
Made the mistake of "bigging" the Corinium up in my mind before entering. Big mistake. It could never live up to what my (former) drug addled brain could imagine and when you've taken as many hallucinogens as I have in the past I was expecting to be mugged by an iron age thug or Roman centurian around every corner. It's a museum and is full of museumy things from the past. Daft thing to write as I've yet to visit a museum which looks to the future. Thought it was a tad pricey even though I got the crinkley discount. The staff were nice in the extreme. They put up with the mouthy northern one (me) without banning me from returning at some point. I hope they've forgiven me for leaving my 'up the boro' message before I departed.
Bill R — Google review
An excellent museum with some quite beautiful mosaics and engaging history of Cirencester over the millennia. Let down by some sloppy attention to detail with their timeline boards. Guy Fawkes' assassination attempt was a year later and Edward VII was crowned a whole 3 years before.
Jeremy A — Google review
This is a super museum, primarily for the Roman period but others as well. I spent 2 hours there and didn't properly see it all. Very helpful staff too. Well worth the visit.
Dàvid T — Google review
Interesting museum primarily about their authentic Roman collection. Not a large museum, I would say that 1 hour will be enough to walk around. There is a free art gallery next door. Adult tickets were £7.90. We visited during a weekday so it was relatively quiet. We parked at the nearby Old Station car park and it was only a few minutes walk.
Jan-Fei L — Google review
Very impressed with this museum which unfortunately- I just did not have the time to "do" it properly. It is an educational centre as well & good ol' me actually does like it this way - where origin, history & heritage is clearly labelled & tells a continuous story of this area to the relatively modern era. The Roman mosaics, burials, sound & light projections & the recreated neolithic/stone age dwelling etc added to an immersive experience. Sadly I just had to whizz through it all in an hour before closing time. Do give it the time this museum deserves. I visited on Thurs, late Sept 24. Very quiet & thankful the school kids were not around! 😉😁

Park
Abbey Grounds Park is one of the must-visit sites in Cirencester, offering a serene and peaceful environment to unwind after exploring the town. The park features a playpark and a river where visitors can enjoy watching ducks. It also holds historical significance as it was once the site of the Augustinian Abbey of St Mary, which thrived during Medieval times due to the wool trade. Additionally, visitors can explore other nearby attractions such as St.
Lovely park. Lots of interesting features and trees and plenty of wildlife about thanks to the nearby lake. Some parts of the path get quite water logged bur easy enough to walk around.
Exeter T — Google review
Such a lovely part of Cirencester, some lovley trees, a play park for the children. A lake with benches nearby, a duck feeder, such a nice idea. The park is also home to the free Phoenix Festival.
E C — Google review
Beautiful small park with a flat, circular walk. Interesting 'ice house' archaeological feature. Wildlife aplenty to spot. Love it and visit frequently. Toilets are newly updated and much nicer to use. Right by town centre too, so easy to grab lunch.
B J — Google review
Came across park as I’d sheltered in church from the rain. I was pleasantly surprised at the green oasis right in the middle of Cirencester. Dogs are allowed to run off lead on the grassed area and there are numerous seats facing the lake to rest.
Ann B — Google review
Beautiful place and very peaceful. Full of history
Ganesha C — Google review
This is a beautiful place with a picturesque view from all angles. A lake full of water birds lots of grass, benches places to sit and soak up the views. Flowers poppies wild flowers trees and most importantly a clean tidy park to enjoy. The Abbey Grounds Park is my favourite kind of place with lots to see and loads of space to walk and sit with a picnic or walk the dog. Plus a great outdoor learning play area for youngsters. 👍
Tray N — Google review
An enormous green space with some flowerbeds and many trees. Dogs north of the water must be on a lead, but south of it, apparently not. Signs are many, officious and threatening and occasionally conflicting. Popular place in warm weather, there's also a kids playground at the north end.
David W — Google review
Such a beautiful park, lots of open space, a lake with ducks/swans and a woodland area. When visiting Cirencester (Oct ‘23) this park was a beautiful place to walk with the dogs in the early evening! Historical Roman Town wall and Roman Abbey remains to view too!!

Just had a really lovely stay at the Cotswold Hare. Kathleen is a wonderful host. Very helpful and friendly. Room was spotlessly clean and freshly decorated. I loved the bed linen. It’s in a really good spot. Cirencester is full of lovely restaurants, shops and pubs and all within walking distance. Would definitely recommend.

The roms are well appointed, very comfortable and spotlessly clean! Thank you to Kathleen and her team for all their hard work. We will return again!

Kathleen was a great host - friendly and related well with her guests. She offered recommendations for places in Cotswold to visit and restaurants in Cirencester. The whole accommodation was clean with a relaxed and calm atmosphere. The room we stayed in was cosy with a very comfortable bed and pillows and pretty bed linen. Tea and coffee making were available in the room with a lovely treat of a packet of biscuits. Car parking available on site was a bonus for us. This accommodation is highly recommended.

The Old Brewhouse is a charming 17th-century townhouse B&B located in Cirencester. It has been sympathetically restored and offers high-quality traditional rooms, some of which overlook a delightful courtyard garden. The six bedrooms are beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and homely atmosphere for guests. The B&B is conveniently situated near the town center, offering easy access to local attractions, markets, and pubs.
We loved this BnB so much that we've now stayed twice. Their breakfasts are particularly delicious. Friendly staff. Great location. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome for our babymoon.
Lydia T — Google review
Lovely comfortable room and bed. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. For £150 p/n we looked forward to breakfast but unfortunately missed it as the window was only an hour 8-9. As we were on holiday we had a lie in. I’d have expected more flexible breakfast times but everything else was good.
L L — Google review
We had a wonderful experience on our holiday here. Perfect location, impeccable service, very clean, great breakfast. The courtyard/garden area was beautiful, lovely to spend some time there. Parking was a bit tight, but we were thankful there was parking on site. The only issues, and minor they were - no flannels in the bathroom, and Wi-Fi and TV reception were sketchy. We felt it was great value for the money, highly recommend, and would stay here again.
Dave H — Google review
What a lucky find! Charming courtyard garden entrance. Spotless room with comfy bed & good linens. Modern bathroom with good lighting & toiletries. Superb choice of breakfast with quality ingredients & friendly service. Just a short walk to town centre.
Susan T — Google review
Loved my 3 night stay. I travelled solo and was placed in Room 4. It was a double bed with en-suite bathroom which was perfect for my needs. Location is great since you aren’t very far from much and the walks are easy with a bus stop down the street. Breakfast is as wonderful as everyone says and you get plenty of food! Staff is so kind and they take great care of the BnB. Some things to note- rooms at the top have low beams and walls and space overall may be a bit of a squeeze. Might be a little uncomfortable to someone who is tall. Building is also on a street corner so it may have some noise, but nothing that earplugs and closing a window couldn’t fix. Besides those notes, I still highly recommend!
Char L — Google review
The location is good, the breakfast food was very good, even if the service was a bit muddled at times. We had a courtyard room which was very small (the pictures make it look bigger than it is) but the bathroom and shower are large enough. Despite being only 10°C outside, the heating wasn't working.
Peter N — Google review
I spent the night with my 2 friends in the 3 bedded room last Wednesday, what a lovely experience. This place is like a home from home, spotlessly clean and so welcoming. Despite the atrocious weather, we had the best time. Thank you Rosemary and team for a lovely overnight stay. Loved the breakfast too.

MBB Brasserie is a vibrant bistro and deli in Cirencester, offering a chic Euro-English dining experience. The modern decor with chrome accents and contemporary art creates an inviting atmosphere. Diners can enjoy the excitement of watching their meals being prepared in the open-plan kitchen. The menu features stylish dishes bursting with flavor, including a variety of small plates and a focus on locally sourced ingredients. Established in 2008, this restaurant is perfect for social gatherings with friends and family.
If you're in Cirencester and looking for exquisite food then make a visit to MBB Brasserie a priority. The scallops topped with caviar and served with a truffle foam are just outstanding , but then every dish we tried was of equal standard. The focus here isn't on just presentation its priority is flavour, and the flavours in this menu are just outstanding. I had tried the haddock as a main which could have been good but what elevated it to outstanding was the fact it was cooked to perfection and the flavour combined the grilled element with a hint of lemon that elevated this to an outstanding dish where it's all about flavour. The desserts are also a work of art but once again it's the flavours that win out. All of this is backed up by great service and a restaurant that is very well designed and stylish. Highly recommended.

We were met with a friendly smile and a welcoming 'Hello'. The mission was to have a relax couple of days and it was fully accomplished. Not only we enjoyed breakfast were the poached eggs were cooked to perfection, but we also had the pleasure to have dinner twice at this gem. It is clear the chef knows how to create delicious combinations, from starters to puddings. We tried a starter, three mains, and four different puddings in total. All our empty plates were a testament to the high quality food. All in all, delicious food friendly staff and relax atmosphere.

What an amazing restaurant. The food was outstanding, the wine list was extensive and most importantly, the customer service was the best we've ever had. This restaurant looks great from the outside. Great big open kitchen and the menu has plenty of interesting classic dishes. The food itself is fairly average and we thought that some dishes like the various tapas style dishes we tried didn't taste great and were dissapointing. We also didn't like the sea food casserole which the waiter said was one of the most popular dishes, it was a seafood soup with overcooked fish and just didn't taste great. We loved the special of grilled hake, it was really good although a bit pricey. The service was lovely, and the team made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Hopefully next time the actual food will be better.

Highly Recommended. Michelin rated restaurant (good prices), that has amazing food, cooked - prepared in front of you, appetizers are delicious, main course meals are very delicious and the dessert strongly recommended. We ate here today and we are glad we came here. Customer service is amazing, the place is very clean and the food is awesome, as mentioned before. Ambience is perfect, waiting staff is brilliant. I ordered the oysters, served with lemon, Tabasco hot sauce and a serving bowl of chopped up pickled onion and peppercorn; it was delicious. My main course meal was the ribeye steak (medium well) with a cheese sauce and my side order was broccoli with melted cheese; the steak was perfect - mouth watering - very delicious and the broccoli was really good. My colleagues also purchased the freshly baked goods and they were delicious. If your ever in this beautiful town, you have to come and eat here; you will thank me later.

Tucked slightly out of the way from the high street is this lovely little spot. I took my mum here for a birthday lunch after she was drawn to the Ploughman's on the menu! We sat outside in the sun at an appropriately mosiac patterned table and despite the clear popularity of the place, were served quickly by two very friendly waitresses. Drinks were great, especially my hot chocolate and the food itself was reasonably priced given the location and had more than adequate portion sizes. There was also a selection of fresh cakes and pastries but we did not indulge in these so I can't comment - though they did look good! The *only* thing was that some square, brown tables were deceptively placed nearby which lulled both ourselves and a myriad of others into thinking they were part of the cafe. They weren't as explained by the waitresses each time so signage would definitely be of benefit to prevent this. Overall however, my mum was extremely happy with her meal, as was I and I would definitely recommend this place as a peaceful, pleasent place to sit and enjoy some lunch. Would more than happily return

Just off the high street next to a sheep statue lies Cafe Mosaic. We found a seat inside but they have quite a plentiful area outside to dine Alfresco. Service was very bubbly and all the staff wore smiles. The food was lovely, 2 of us has a sausage roll with a very colourful salad and our partners had a mushroom quiche and a stilton and walnut quiche. All filled the spot and we left happy. It was a really nice place for a light lunch with friends. Will definitely be going again the next time we are in Cirencester.

St. John Baptist Church in Cirencester is an Anglican church that was established in 1117 as part of an Augustinian monastery. The walled precinct and the church are situated at the center of a charming Cotswold town. The building, constructed in 1480, is typical of 15th century architecture with elaborate details and stained glass windows. Inside, there are ornate features and colorful wall paintings to admire. A gift shop inside offers religious items for purchase.
We stumbled upon the “Cathedral of the Cotswolds” quite by chance while spending the day in Cirencester, waiting for friends. With some time to spare, we wandered inside, and what a lovely surprise it turned out to be. It was just before Christmas, so the church was beautifully dressed for the season. What really caught our eye were the dozens of Christmas trees, each uniquely decorated - many, it seemed, by local businesses. The creativity was impressive, with each tree reflecting a distinct theme. I never imagined a tree adorned with cups could look so charming! Kudos to everyone involved in this festive initiative. It’s a brilliant way to draw people in and showcase the beauty of this stunning Gothic church. We left feeling unexpectedly uplifted.

Worth visiting for some fine architectural and other features. A large and impersonal building lacking atmosphere. Large number of unused pews in the main building while a service was on, attended by four people, in a side room. Not a church that is welcoming . But as an historical relic worth a look

I am aware of how many houses of the holy I'm getting through looking for the smiting one. Let's be clear, they're all magnificent structures. They're all remarkably well built, the craftsmanship is second to none and this example is fairly typical of how good they all are. My mind is blown on a regular basis and will continue to be blown as long as I remain untouched by lightning 🌩 bolt.

I’m not a Christian, but I love visiting churches when I travel, because I can feel the history, culture, and life in them. St. John the Baptist Church in Cirencester is a symbol of the town. I was captivated by its delicate architecture. I recently saw the musical “SIX” and became interested in the six queens, so when I found that there was a “Boleyn Cup” here, I was so excited!

The Church is beautiful, lovely service and I was made to feel very welcome ❤️ there is a fantastic selection of things to buy in the shop and the staff are very helpful. I will never forget my time here and I will definitely be back in the near future. God Bless you all 🙏🏻🕊️

Restaurant
Dobbies Garden Centre Cirencester is a popular chain retailer that offers a wide range of garden products. They have multiple locations equipped with plant nurseries, food halls, and restaurants. This garden center provides an extensive selection of sweet treats for customers to enjoy. Additionally, they offer various attractions such as spinny fish in the fish area. Shoppers can also find great deals on snacks from friendly staff members.
Five of us came to Dobbies Garden center in June 2025. It is a very large complex just outside Cirencester on the A917. We were there for a chat and a meal. The five of us all had different meals and were satisfied with them, service was reasonably brisk and efficient. The restaurant itself is very large and spacious, The toilets were clean and adequate, although I hated the Dyson hand dryers which make so much noise and must cost so much more than a packet of hand towels! The meals were medium to good but pricey. When we finished our meal I could not find any staff to pay and we wasted about 20 minutes finding one! The garden centre itself seemed to have everything you might need and again was very spacious and clean. There's also a store called Lakeland there which meant that there were lots of other things to buy, the sort that you might find in a large store. A big complex well worth visiting if you're in the area. Are you handy please for groups to meet up in.

Main Centre Lovely looking place, spacious, variety, good music overhead. Café: Pros - Good food - Good value for money - Nice decor Cons - Could not swap an egg out to add a hash brown in my breakfast - not a big ask and the first no I've come across. - Had to ask for the drinks as the food turned up and they hadn't - I ordered the vegetarian breakfast but found bacon in my beans, when I told the staff member, she did apologise but didn't seem all to bothered and when she came back for us to pay, nothing else was said or a goodwill gesture offered. The rest of the meal had been fine, but just found this lack of enthusiasm and action disappointing.

Called in for a quick lunch at the garden centre. Slightly strange ‘wait to be seated’ and table service scenario which is over formal and slow. Unfortunately after waiting a while for ham hock and cheese toasties, we didn’t eat anything as the toasties were lukewarm and the mozzarella cheese not melted. Didn’t have time to order anything else. Garden centre looked quite nice though.
Bekky H — Google review
Not as expensive as some garden centres and a great selection. But... Food is a little overpriced (tea cakes £1 for melted mush) but lots of choice. A little worried about the amount of flies crawling over the open sandwiches, the lady did throw one of the sandwiches away after I pointed it out, then went to get a fan to keep the flies off...... Little late for the ones that have done their business all over the other open food! Friendly staff and a great selection of aquarium equipment and fish. Couldn't find much on the solar lighting/ solar ornaments. Probably not a fan of the food hygiene but as a garden centre. Not bad at all.

Visited today (Sunday), we wanted to get a nice rose. Lots of dead plants, nobody to ask for help. We thought we would have a lovely coffee and cake, the whole cafe was dirty. The staff were rude, now we understand why there were not many people visiting. We can quite understand why dobbies are closing.
Angela W — Google review
Stopped in to get patio flowers and soil. That was very good and great choice. But I also popped in to get a cuppa and cake. This is why it only got 2 stars. Very slow on counter service, very busy with only 2 ladies serving us. nearly all cakes etc gone and it was only 2:30pm. I got a cuppa and chocolate cake, as not a lot of choices left. Never again. The cuppa was great but the cake was dry, stale and just not nice. Couldn't eat it. Dobbies needs a rethink on FRESH cakes. Nothing about that chocolate cake was fresh Just disgusting. Very disappointed Not b stopping for a cuppa and cake again

Took my mum here for lunch for her birthday. Unfortunately quite disappointed, the salad on the plates was brown and looked pretty old. The coleslaw was the same, looking slimy, not fresh. The burgers came out overcooked and cold. The cakes were the only positive thing I can say were nice. Real shame.

Visit today 22 Nov 2023. We'll normally I give a reasonable and fare marking but this is unbelievable. Wasing up everywhere a bacteria hazard waiting to happen .plates to the left of me plates to the right.one old man unable to keep up. The table doesn't get cleaned. Just can't belive what I'm seeing . Half hour wait for two coffees Had a coffee with my daughter as a member of dobbies they were both free two per month you know. So I bought a cake each. We sat and chatted with no rush. On leaving I picked up a lovely plant Bird of paradise. Normally you don't see them for less than £100 but this was half that. Wonderful two hours with my daughter. April 1st visited dobbies and enjoyed two meals at reasonable cost and as a club card holder had two large coffees for free to go with the meal. We'll cooked fish and chips crispy excellent service. Forgot to add with the club card you get 10% off plant purchases July visit, had English breakfast in the restaurant. Was given the menu which gave a choice of various items to eat My wife and I had the full English without black pudding. We were not offered an alternative. Picture of which is shown. Cost £14 per person. Tasted freshly cooked and oil was clean not quite like the picture shown in the menu. Came with no cutlery or butter for the toast.

We came here for dinner and had a mixed experience. The restaurant itself was clean and welcoming, and the service was excellent, the staff were friendly and quick to resolve any issues. While the food wasn’t quite to our taste on this occasion, the overall atmosphere and service made for a pleasant evening. With a few tweaks to the menu, it could be a really lovely place to dine.

Order and wait for an hour. Literally waited for a long long time (almost an hour) we arrived and order at around 7. And received the food at around 8. The food was delicious though. Really hot and good. May be they prepared it from the scratch after we ordered. The service can be better. It has to be. There were 2 staffs serving an almost full restaurant which had a min of 15 tables full or even more. Good for vegans and vegetarians. The staff forgot one item in the order but offered a refund. If not for the service it can get a 4star and if not for the quantity it can get a 5 star. Overall food was good. Service needs to be improved Toilets are ok. Price not too expensive but the quantity was slightly less for that price. Ambience was excellent.

Probably the only place I could have hot food on Christmas day in Cirencester. All food was nice, a standard Pizza Express quality, good choice of desserts. The place was half empty, but I was still asked for a booking so was denied to be seated. I left, and immediately booked a table in 30 mins and was seated then. That was a bit strange.

The place and staff were very nice and to point out it is a baby friendly place, they offer my baby a coloring book to play with. Food was really fresh and delicious, but the only issue is they are late at serving the food.

Edit: Their response says it all, really. Am I going to write an email to an anonymous customer service address, only to receive another standard reply? No. I just won’t go back to Pizza Express Staff not interested. Prefer to spend their time chatting amongst themselves (in earshot). Customers are an inconvenience. Pizza certainly not Express, waited a very long time despite only a few other customers at tables. Chairs had food on them and when I asked if they could be wiped before we sat down, waitress mumbled something along the lines of ‘well this is a restaurant’ as if we should expect to sit on the last people’s dinner. Disappointing to give good money to a business that simply doesn't care, will steer clear in future.

Great coffee break. Visited Sunday afternoon. Place relaxed when we walked in with plenty of space Very nice vibe and decore. Coffee was real good and the service was efficient.
Sam A — Google review
This is a disgustingly unhygienic 🤮 place with the worst customer service in Cirencester. Dirty and uncleared tables, the staff (older gal named Sophie) makes judgements on the customers and sarcastically laughs in your face. If that’s not enough to turn you off, the lavatory is disgustingly dirty with water on the floor and urine and dried excrement on the loo seat. I asked if they had cream tea, and she disrespectfully laughed and said that I have to go to Cornwall for that! I’ve had cream tea in London, Oxford, Tetbury, and Cirencester! Then I asked if I could have milk for my tea, and again she (Sophie) laughed and sarcastically said “ohh wow how unusual..”. This was unequivocally my worst experience in Cirencester. If anyone is looking for a place to have a coffee or afternoon tea, please go somewhere else where the staff actually care.

Coffee1 was always where I went if I wanted a decent coffee ☕️ at a reasonable price. Sadly this wasn't the case today 😕 the flat White was awful! It was very bitter needles to say I didn't drink it all. A few sips was enough. The only good thing about the coffee was that it was hot 🔥 this will be my last visit to Coffee1. On a positive note the staff were welcoming and the speed of service was quick

What a great little find. This place is separate and apart from the main brand coffee shops such as Costa and Nero etc. but sells lovely coffee products and serves tasty hot and cold food. Waitrose & Partners Cirencester is a supermarket chain that offers fresh British produce, groceries, and baked goods, including store-brand items. This particular branch stands out for its lovely atmosphere and unique items on offer, like an Ostrich egg. Despite being near Christmas, it was less busy than other stores. Today, it was very crowded but still had a good selection of produce. The staff are always friendly and helpful, although one downside was the limited number of functioning toilets.
Staff are always helpfull and good humoured. Choose your products wisely and you will find it is not as expensive as the popular press maintain. Some of us do need accessible toilets etc.

Quaint little chocolate shop and cafe, serving delicious hot chocolate, warm drinks and cakes amd offering various chocolate delights for visitors in need of a little 'pick me up'.Especially recommended as service is personable and the owner made our day. We entered just as the shop was closing in a cold and rainy August day. The owner was locking the doors and putting signs away, getting ready to close for the day. After he saw the look of disappointment on our faces, he graciously offered to accommodate us, literally opening the place only for us. Lovely gesture, great service and would encourage locals and visitors to support this local independent shop.

Simple chocolate themed cafe in Black Jack Street, Cirencester which is the cafe capital of the town. Now I'm not a big chocolate fan, well not chocolate bars anyway, but as we'd got a voucher from over two years ago we decided to visit and have a hot chocolate or milkshake plus a chocolate brownie. We both decided, as it was a warm summer's day to have milkshakes, I had a strawberry 🍓 shake whilst Mrs G opted for raspberry, which are made with Marshfields ice cream. Very nice. We then had the brownie accompanied by a ball each of Marshfields vanilla. So not being a particular brownie or chocolate van I was pleasantly surprised, the brownie was excellent. Drizzle Chocolate is a nice little cafe to sit and watch the world go by for half an hour or more, to enjoy a milkshake and the excellent chocolate brownie 😋

Gorgeous cake chocolate and lemon drizzle cake. Very friendly staff. Strawberry milkshake was nice but could've done with a bit more strawberry flavour - maybe a strawberry or two thrown onto the mix. Nice place to sit and watch the world go by.

I was in Cirencester and bought a Marshfield ice cream from Drizzle Chocolate that was delicious. Unfortunately, the ice cream fell from my cornet as I sat down at a table in the alley way outside of the shop. Clumsy me! But the reaction from the staff was exceptional. The young lady that had served me had noticed my plight and came out of the shop insisting on replacing my ice cream free of charge. I doubt that any other shop's staff would have noticed let alone acted in such a supportive way. To those involved, I express my sincere thanks.
Charles E — Google review
We stopped in to buy an icecream on Saturday 14 September and were ignored by staff because the younger lady was teaching the older lady staff member how to make coffee. We asked twice if the shop was open, and were told yes, but "I'm teaching her to make coffee". The coffee lesson then proceeded, but not before the staff exchanged a meaningful look when we disturbed them. We didn't disturb them any longer, and went to a much busier and more polite shop which sold us lovely icecream in a jiffy. The chocolatier was empty, by the way, in a busy shopping street.

KFC Cirencester - Bridge Road is a notable fast food chain renowned for its fried chicken served in buckets. They also offer combo meals and various sides. The establishment strives to maintain cleanliness, evident from their overall tidy environment. During one customer's visit, they encountered a slight delay with their order of 20 hot wings, but the staff made amends by including a complimentary portion of popcorn chicken as an apology.
Great chicken of a quality I’ve come to expect from KFC. Nicely seasoned, very crispy and succulent. Staff were very friendly and quick to get my order to me. My favourite is the original Kentucky wrap. I wish I could have it every day!

Zero star is not available to give a proper feedback. Portion size upgrade is a big scam, especially fries. I was curious what is the difference for extra money. Not a lot. The drink and the popcorn chicken were slightly bigger. The fries are not impressive. They put the fries in different packing. However the difference was neglectable. Maybe 2pcs more fries in large vs regular. I seriously suggest that just pay for regular because extra money doesn't worth the upgrade.

Clean inside. Great choice of food, not a great selection if you don't eat meat, but it is a chicken restaurant! Having said that, it wouldn't matter to me if they had a huge selection as I would always go for their vegan burger... It's the best I've had, just amazing, my only complaint is there could be more options with it, like make it a tower burger/box meal, add another burger etc. Food arrived piping hot which is just how I like it 😁
Michelle W — Google review
I have not been to a KFC for a while, today the KFC at Cirencester reminded me why. They now use a special breed of dwarf chickens here. Plus, the potato famine has affected the size of the chip portions. Lots of money, for small measly portions. Be a while before I go again.
John H — Google review
Got almost every part of the food order wrong, asked for a 3-piece, received a 2-piece, the server didn't understand that sides aren't included with an original recipe chicken meal and specially asked for ketchup instead of supercharger sauce on the burger, twice, but got home to find the hot sauce was used. I was asked for an order number although I was never given one. The food was good, shame about the service. Do not rely on them getting it right

Good food, hot and fresh. The tables weren’t the best, left dirty and uncleared. Undesirable people were congregating inside and outside. Order was marked as ready for collection but a further 5 minutes passed regardless.

Book store
Waterstones is a popular bookstore that promotes browsing and offers a combination of mainstream and academic books. Some of their stores even feature cafes. Although they offer click & collect services, there may be limitations on collecting in person from specific locations. Their customer service has been praised for being extremely helpful with a positive "can do" attitude. The overall experience at Waterstones is highly regarded, with a wide selection of books and knowledgeable staff members who are passionate about literature.
Lovely book shop with a really nice coffee shop, highly recommend.

A real joy to hear the wonderful interaction, this Sunday 21 September 2025, between customers and a female Sales Assistant at Waterstones Cirencester. Both American tourists and a local to Cirencester were involved in the exchanges. The Assistant could not have been more helpful and professional with them. Some parts of ‘The British High Street’ are sadly missing this positive attitude these days.

A big thank you to the assistant at Waterstones who helped me cross off another couple of books from my list. The assistant went above and beyond to help me. Thank you. The shop had a large choice of books in many different categories. Well worth a visit 😊

Brilliant Waterstones. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's surprisingly big inside with a massive selection of books. At the back of the store there is also a wonderful coffee shop. If you love books and coffee then this store is a must!

Triple Two Coffee, located on Cricklade Street in Cirencester, is a popular spot known for its exceptional customer service and bustling atmosphere. The cafe offers a variety of cakes and coffees, with friendly staff who are quick to welcome and assist customers. Visitors praise the fantastic team, particularly mentioning Brooke and Robbyn for their outstanding service.
Brooke and Robbyn are just fantastic here. They really make the whole experience worth coming back for!!! They really look after their customers and deliver that exceptional customer service that we all dream about. I'm a regular now because of these girls, coffee is great but the girls really make it worth coming back. The cafe is always busy and these girls (Brooke and Robyn) are quicker than the flash. I've never seen anything like it. Not to mention they fuss my dog when he comes in. He gets a free treat and lots of belly rubs. It's really exceptional how they look after their customers!!! KEEP GOING GIRLS YOU'RE AMAZING!!!!

Good twists on expected menu. Good place to grab a take away drink or sit-in for a snack. Great unique food and amazing alternative to other larger café brands.

I’ve been eating/drinking in this cafe for over a year! It used to be buzzing, great atmosphere and service. Just lately it’s gone really down hill. Service disorganised and slow, tables all needed clearing last time I was in and place looked dirty with a Tesco shopping cart in the cafe. We waited over 15 mins for drinks (only 4 other people in cafe), our cakes never arrived - we had to ask for them. Another customers food went out looking shocking!! It’s always been a really buzzing and friendly place but is really lacking in every area now! Such a shame!!! The poor guy serving was trying to train other staff and was really doing his best but obviously needed more experienced help.

Always had a really positive experience here, regardless of who was on shift that day. My partner and I here come here a lot as we are both students and Triple2 offer student discounts. They're also dog friendly and we've been offered a puppichino , which was really sweet and welcoming from the staff. Cirencester has a lot of coffee shops but this is really great. The coffee itself is also my favourite
Ariana S — Google review
A fab coffee shop with great quality food and coffee, and friendly staff. The caramel frappés are the best and their toasties are delicious, as are their cakes - I had the carrot cake, so good! I took my little one last week and she said their rocky road was yummy! Will definitely be a frequent stop for me.
Stacey S — Google review
Seems to have taken a nosedive in terms of service and quality. This used to be a great place to come and relax but not anymore.I understand it's been bought out ( franchise). My latest and last experience...The coffee was awful. Lots of young male staff just hanging around behind the service area, stale cakes. Won't be going back again.

Coffee roasters
Rave Coffee is an independent coffee roaster located in Leighton Buzzard, UK. They offer a wide selection of high-quality coffee beans for delivery, with excellent service and friendly staff. Customers have praised the unbeatable prices and convenient delivery options, including next-day delivery. Many have found the quality of their coffee to be excellent and reasonably priced. Some customers were pleasantly surprised to discover that Rave Coffee was conveniently located just five minutes away from their new place when they moved to the countryside.
Airscape Coffee Canister from Rave Coffee (£29, free Royal Mail tracked delivery over £25) – 5/5 I wanted stainless steel for easy cleaning and a seal that actually keeps coffee fresh, as the glass jars I was using never quite did the job. Two weeks in, this canister still gives me that fresh coffee smell every time I open it. Delivery was quick, well packed, and nicely presented: it felt quality from the start. The build is solid, the white finish is clean and consistent, and the seal is easy to use but feels like it’ll last years. It’s worth the price if you care about coffee staying at its best. Probably overkill for some, but for anyone serious about their coffee, it’s spot on.
Leo C — Google review
*the best* Fancy a coffee, or grabbing some beans .....you will struggle to find better in the area. Roasted on site, viewed through glass from the cafe so you can see the magic happens. Fresh beans, many varieties available on site. As beans or grounds, depends on your needs. The coffee served is superb 10/10 would definitely recommend. Car parking on site, dog friendly, inside and outdoor seating available

Tried the subscription, so massively underwhelmed. It's been a good few years but it may be time to move on. I've received 4 bags of a medium roast Ethiopian coffee to get through as part of the discovery subscription. Supposedly medium roast but the beans are 50 shades of brown and not sure how this got shipped out.

Absolutely bloody brilliant. It's so refreshing to buy from a business that is big but keeps the small business feel and personal touch. Love the detail including your family names on the bottom of the packaging. And the coffee so far tastes amazing and is perfect, took me only one go to get the perfect shot on my Sage. Thank you and we will be subscribing going forward 💕

We have spent the last 6 months with a Rave coffee subscription. Each month they send 2 different coffees to try. Each have been amazing so we decided to drive 2 hours to check put their cafe. Service was fab. There was a selection of cakes and ciabatta rolls, the latter served with salad and we picked up some of our favourite coffee which they ground for us. Would recommend a visit and subscription.

Lidl is a supermarket located in the Love Lane area of Cirencester, alongside other retail outlets. It offers good value and quality products, including fresh fruit and vegetables and an in-store bakery. While there may be occasional shortages in basic products, the store has introduced better bonus schemes. Customers appreciate the variety of items available and the cleanliness of the store. The supermarket is known for its friendly staff and ample parking space, making it convenient for regular shopping trips.
Everyone is incredibly nice. Everyone smiles, everyone is polite. It's orderly and clean. The shop is spacious and has a large selection. The staff pay attention to the smallest detail. There is not a spot of dirt on the floor, but if there is, they come and clean it up. It's a great atmosphere. I've been in many Lidl's but this is by far the friendliest.

All of the baskets are filthy. I don't think they've been cleaned since the store opened. Date control on stock isn't great either - quite often find rotten fruit/veg.

Local shopper and recently it's really gone down hill fast! . Lots of products well out of date, had to take milk back twice. Luckily Im in walking distance. I'm all for diversity but looks like staff members are dressed for Halloween. Green and blue hair, face decorations, staff flirting whilst getting served. Half the staff are decent and the other are just children. No organisation, constant long lines. Place really needs to get it's act together.
Mike D — Google review
Lidl plus card server not working so vouchers not working. Just put a sign up, at the entrance to the shop, rather than having people argue at the checkout? ‘It’s been like it all day’ isn’t an excuse when some old lady has bought lots of bread on offer but can’t get the deal etc a sign might help shoppers and staff.
D S — Google review
Although everything you need is in store, the setup and presentation is very bad I find the staff unfriendly, and they are always having social chats with their colleagues over their headsets, which seems to take priority over the customers. Not all stores are the same.

I bought this week a bouquet of white/ pink roses with white freesias for £ 4.99. I have to say tney have been the most beautiful flowers in appearance and fragrance; it’s been many years since I found fressia that smells as it should, which is gorgeous. Restricted room at self service checkout resulted in Curry sauce glass falling off packing shelf and smashing. Had to stand with trolley covering the glass for 5 mins to stop people walking on it whilst someone came to help, then no attempt to offer replacement, which would have been nice customer service

My Husband and I often pop into this store as we love the personal experience we have always enjoyed however this Saturday 2nd November we had the opposite experience. We approached a till holding towels & a large duvet and requested advice about the duvet eg synthetic filling or duck down only to be told by the cashier that she had no idea! The store was quiet, she did not offer to find another assistant to help. We decided to go ahead with our purchases but not once did this lady give us any acknowledgement eg eye contact, smile, help! which is so unfortunate as we usually love visiting and supporting this business but this experience has left us feeling rather disappointed .

The sale staff were helpful when purchasing our range cooker, but when I called to confirm delivery and fitting first they could not find our order but luckily they eventually found it,when I asked for times of delivery and fitting they could only tell me of the fitting time not the delivery, when you spend over £1000 on an item you should be given excellent service not the poor service we were given

Absolute gem of a place, nothing else like it. You can get in and out quick if you need because there are always enough staff to help/ring up your purchases quickly, but I love to spend AGES in here just browsing for fun for all my hobbies, DIY, and decor stuff. 😁 Prices are good, staff are lovely, even the hours are fantastic (many times I've been stressing because I've spent too long browsing and it's almost 5pm but I just want to look at one more thing...! Then I realise they don't close for another hour!) oh, and they even have FREE parking so when I walk out with a million things I don't have to hike miles back to the car with them 🤣

I visited the store today with my elderly father to buy a new hob. My thanks to both Mark in sales & Ed who fitted the item for their sensitivity and understanding . Don't know why but we came during a hot day in July and it felt as though we were walking into an American shopping mall, massive concrete pillers great you as you walk down a covered walk way. The entrance is off to the right of the end of the walkway, it would be nicer if the walkway led directly into the store. The store itself is a single story and has an early 90s vibe to it. The toilets were quite smelly but clean, the tiles on the floor had a lot of black and yellow tape to cover cracks etc. plenty of stock on the shelves and very quick checkout because of the self service.
Philip B — Google review
Would give lower if it was possible. The staff here have a complete lack of ability to provide polite or appropriate customer service. Staff put minimal effort into assisting customers, spending time on their phone whilst on the active checkout desks or refusing to help customers find desired products.

We go for our Groceries all the time. Well stocked Tesco Extra. The only thing which can be improved is the stock of South Asian foods and a section of Halal meet would be a great addition.

I have been club member for over 9 years. I like to use the scan as you shop because with two little ones with me used to be the quickest way and most organised one for me. In the last few months I have had my full shopping checked every time, items like eggs broken as they repack everything with no care like I do. It is a real nightmare!!! Such a waste of time and terrible time after as the children get bored and bothered. Tesco should up their game and if you are going to trust us to scan our shopping trust that we have scanned everything, otherwise give us back more regular checkouts, that way you can check my shopping as you scan😡
Olivia F — Google review
Not a nice experience today at Cirencester Tesco. Tesco seems to be getting more and more customer unfriendly. I would have called customer service to make a complaint but seems somewhat impossible. I was using the self service isle, the only one there, as it was quiet and i felt someone stand behind me. One of their staff members, probably new as I didn't recognise him. But he made me feel very watched and uncomfortable, so I turned around and said you are making me feel very uncomfortable, I am just trying to do my shopping in peace. He said, I don't understand, so I repeated, please can you stand away from me as I feel very uncomfortable with you, again just repeated I don't understand. I darn't say to him do you mean you don't understand English? As that could be perceived as Racist in today's climate! I tried to talk to him fairly but all he said was I don't understand. Where in the job description does it say to make the customer feel very uncomfortable whilst shopping? and when customer points this out in a calm manner, just repeat I don't understand? Did he not understand English or was he purposely trying to wind me up because I said he was making me feel uncomfortable? I don't know but he has left me feeling uncomfortable with my shopping experience today.

Boots is a popular chain store located in the town center, alongside other well-known brands. Customers often have positive experiences at this shop, particularly praising the helpful and friendly staff at the pharmacy. Many recommend signing up for the advantage card to take advantage of their offers and points system. However, some customers note occasional issues with empty shelves and inconsistent staffing levels. Additionally, there are commendations for the attentive service provided by the staff at the No7 counter, especially towards elderly customers.
We ALWAYS have an excellent experience in this shop. The advice from the pharmacy is always helpful, detailed and never rushed - even for the simplest inquiry. The staff are always friendly, professional and give the impression that nothing is too much trouble even when there are lots of people wanting assistance. Such a great service, thank you
Damian B — Google review
Terrible customer service. One staffmember at the doorside checkout determined to finish her conversation with a personal acquaintance before serving customers. Product knowledge lacking, so has to call a supervisor from the other end of the store. No-one else serving in the meantime. Staff in the pharmacy avoiding eye contact with customers out at the tills so that they do not have to serve them. If you ask if anyone is serving, you're told 'this is the healthcare counter', the point apparently being that they only want to serve you at that till if you 'want something from behind the counter'. Customers are apparently expected to know this through clairvoyance without it actually being communicated anywhere. And presumably nothing sold on the main floor is regarded as 'healthcare'. What on earth has happened to this company?
Jim — Google review
Mostly well-stocked and pleasant staff. However, deducting stars because I made an online return to this shop. Was given a flimsy scrap of handwritten paper from shop assistant, nothing official, as proof of my return and breezily told I'd get the refund soon. It's been beyond the waiting period and I have nothing. Maybe good for in-store shopping but don't return stuff here, staff seem to have no idea how to process orders, or have no connection with Boots online. Boots just told me they have not received any return. Have tried calling this store multiple times, no one will ever pick up. Either way I'm out of pocket and need to go through hassle of finding money! Boots, get your act together!
VA D — Google review
they never open at 9.00 but few minuts later,even if customers waiting outside ,You can see staff talking inside with not rush..once they open I had to wait in the counter again because not staff anywhere I have to ask for a staff member to be attended.as they walked up and down ignoring us;

I do not recommend Boots Pharmacy in Cirencester. It has taken three visits and a long wait on each occasion to collect a prescription. The processes are obviously broken and therefore need revamping or they will lose customers. The staff are helpful and it is not their fault that the systems are poor. Boots management needs a wake up call.
June M — Google review
Sorry but have to be honest and report very poor attitude and service at the dispensary for prescriptions. Often a que and staff members behind the counter know full well people are waiting but go very slowly to ensure people wait longer you can almost feel the contempt from the staff often the younger ones for the people waiting. My advice is go elsewhere say lloyds in Ashcroft Rd if collecting in town, your treated in a polite and courteous way. Im sick of poor service my advice don't put up with it.
Tobythegamer I — Google review
Review 2019 - Sorry to say I can't say anything good about this branch of Boots. Poorly informed member staff willing to argue with a customer instead of checking their incorrect product knowledge with a better trained colleague. Review 2018 - I wish they would get their prescription service better organised. Please send your texts in a timely way. At the moment it's haphazard. This time my text arrived 4 days after I'd picked my prescription up! They often complain of being really busy but I find it hard to be sympathetic. Getting the texts out on time will help make them less busy and reduce queuing.

Customers praise their bike fitting services and the extensive expertise of Grant. Visitors are impressed by the exceptional bike builds, including dream customizations, and appreciate the full tour of the spectacular shop.
Just picked up my new bike from Ride247. Service has been exceptional, knowledgeable bike owners, facilities amazing. Not only a shop but a showroom showcasing top bikes, top jerseys from elite riders etc with workshop for servicing and general maintenance. facilities has coffee shop with great drinks. Bike received was built by them and then for collection was displayed in their showroom and it looked amazing!! Quality of service excellent and not only a "bike shop" offering locals regular bike club rides... Had previously looked at 3+ other bike shops before finalising with Ride247 and glad I did. They are my go to bike shop! Highly recommended.

Ride 24/7 have been great to deal with. Mitch and Dave have been fantastic with communications, being responsive and patient whilst I dallied about handlebar choices. They were both really helpful in arranging a demo ride on a Reilly Fusion with the support of Reilly Cycleworks. The care taken later completing the build and additional effort to expedite the right handlebars was much appreciated. The passion that Mitch and Dave have for cycling and their appreciation for the beauty of bicycles is obvious and made the adventure of a new bike all the more exciting.

There are bike shops, there are great bike shops and then there is Ride 24/7! Every trip there feels like an event. The customer service is second to none and you get looked after like you are family. They are the only people I trust to look after my bikes and I do all I can to put my custom through them even if it’s for brands they don’t stock. I could not recommend Mitch and Dave highly enough 🙏

I found my dream bike at Ride 24/7, a Colnago V4RS with Dura Ace Di2, but I wanted to customise it and give myself some options for the future, when I'm older and slower! I worked on the spec with Dave Evans and we came to a great arrangement and I now have my dream bike with extras. Three things about Ride 24/7 in particular were absolutely excellent in my experience :- 1. The highest quality and technical knowledge of the whole team, advising me on the best customisation that would suit my needs. 2. The high quality and follow through of customer service from all the team. 3. The amazing showroom and workshop complete with coffee. My conclusion is that I should invest and buy more from this amazing bike shop. Pete H

WHSmith in Cirencester is a charming and historical building that offers a wide range of products. It is well-stocked with newspapers, magazines, stationery, books, greeting cards, confectionery, and more. Additionally, it houses a Post Office within the store for added convenience. While it may not have an extensive selection of magazines, it provides friendly service and essential post office facilities. This makes it a useful one-stop shop in the town center.
Well stocked with a huge variety of items. The Cirencester branch also houses the aPost Office so lots available vin one location easily accessible in the centre of town.

Had an awful experience here. The post office staff appeared to be very under trained and did not have much knowledge of machinery/stickers/pries for mail. The staff were very confrontational, which i was most displeased by. The staff made the environment very uncomfortable with other customers as one of the staff members quite aggressively raised their voice and after proceeded to ignor me.

Can always get what I want and very good service. My review was 3 years ago - Different story now. Staff are not trained the basics. Just spent £70 and not even a thank you. I wouldn't be surprised if this store is not in for an asset stripping exercise.
Jacqueline W — Google review
It's like any normal whsmith but the layout with the post office is frustrating as you have to go half way into the shop to get your parcel or envelope ...then turn back on yourself to pay for it and then go back through the shop to the otherside to the post office. A little rearranging of the shop would be good
Rakhee P — Google review
Looks like Woolies when it was closing down back in 2009. Stock is generally not displayed well and the shop is poorly lit. Have you heard of the words REFURBISHMENT? Your store looks like it was last updated in the 90s. I avoid at all costs and try and shop in Poundland for stationery. Only good point it that staff are helpful and are good at helping you if you need anything.

We bought a book of Chinese mythology while traveling in the Cotswolds. We took it home to read to our daughter. My Chinese in-laws were thrilled to see how accurate it was. So very cool to have a book to share more about her Chinese heritage with her. This is a great shop and worth the trip halfway around the world to explore it!

Guests rave about the cozy and well-maintained accommodations that provide ample space for relaxation. The warm hospitality of hosts Paul and Sue truly enhances the experience, making visitors feel right at home.
Had a restful & very comfortable 3 night stay here recently. Impeccably clean & compact room upstairs with great shower & amenities. Room had good heating & there were added extras like little storage cubes & quality toiletries. Sue & Paul are very helpful & I enjoyed the tasty cooked English breakfast. Easy walking distance to centre of Cirecester including Corineum museum which I visited. At a busy Junction but can hardly hear the traffic. There is free onsite parking for a few cars.

We loved our stay! Only a short visit - 2 nights - but would highly recommend staying at the Ivy House! Paul & Sue were hospitable in every way possible. The rooms were lovely and a good mix of cozy and modern. The English breakfasts were outstanding, made even better by the wonderful conversations with the owners and other guests. It has a small town feel so that you feel like a local. Central location - we explored all of the surrounding Cotswold towns. Paul & Sue are wonderful hosts and made our stay at the Ivy House and our visit to England a holiday to remember. Would stay here again and would highly recommend!

Outstanding customer service! I’m extremely pleased to have walked into this EE store on Tuesday. I was a little disappointed with our Vodafone package, Damien offered me a saving of over £720 a year and upgrade to 5G! He was extremely helpful and informative. I couldn’t be happier and will be sure to head back when we next need an upgrade.

Yesterday went into shop to have data from my old tphone transferred to a new phone I had purchased from this store previously. Jack was extremely helpful and patient, friendly and charming throughout, explained clearly what was happening. Excellent service.

I recently had cause to head to the Cirencester EE Shop to arrange new phone contracts for me and my wife prior to heading off for a holiday in Australia and New Zealand. The first person I dealt with was very friendly, but ultimately there were a couple of issues which necessitated a second visit the following day. The next day I dealt with Rowan, and he resolved the issues very professionally and efficiently, meaning we are able to enjoy full connectivity with our family at home while we are on holiday. Mistakes can happen in this area and I accept that, but I firmly believe the most important thing is how these issues are resolved, and Rowan was exceptional in resolving the issues. He was also very pleasant to deal with. Full marks and thank you Rowan.
Ian O — Google review
Came in with two problems that EE could not help me with online. A great member of staff helped me immediately. Will just come into store next time to resolve any issues!
Eleanor J — Google review
Utterly appalling service. spent 1.5 hours in shop buying a new phone and contract. The new phone did not turn up on time, no call to say when it would be. Transfer by PAC from old phone to new took over a week despite being told it was 48 hours. I have no information whatsoever about EE, no contract, no nothing. I am on an unlimited contract for 2 years. Today I receive a text to say I have reached my limited and will be barred from use. The Customer Service in the shop to resolve this is non existence - you are not doing me a favour by offering to call customer services to resolve this. Whatever that number is. Steve Bush is the Manager if anyone has the same issues, I hope he will resolve the attitude of their staff and committing to deliver and not.
Karen R — Google review
Spent over an hour in the shop setting up a sim only contract, not even buying a phone. Followed the instructions when I got home to find out my number hasn’t transferred and I’ve had to spend most of my day on online chat to EE. Whenever we visit EE Cirencester it is just always, slow and unprofessional. We are very patient but when you pay for a service and aren’t receiving it, it’s not acceptable.
Alice H — Google review
I have been EE customer for over 15 year, this store in Cirencester is the BEST place you can receive the WORST customer services on this planet. Twice I have been there and they couldn't resolve my problem, they were just quoting different excuses. My last visit was few days ago, I took my laptop there, after few augments, we concluded I should be issued a new sim card, after 30 minutes they couldn't issues the sim card, " OUR SYSTEM IS NOT LOGGING IN". I couldn't believe that They talked over each other, while agent A was dealing with with a female customer he will be talking over his colleague and interrupting another business that he was not asked to intervene. He trying to show off as if he knew every solution to all problems unfortunately he is the worst agent. A very bad experience. never will I go to that store again. Unhappily I rated one star, how I wish there is something below 1 star
Ola O — Google review
Visited today and Alex did explain a number of options and did try to encourage me to change plan. I had gone in to get a replacement SIM as my phone wasn't working but it was originally an Orange SIM. His colleague said they would not replace an Orange SIM even though EE have taken over Orange and my account is with EE After some strong words on my part they phoned EE and I have been assured that a replacement SIM will be with me in 3 or 4 days. Very helpful and patient staff but be careful you don't come out with something you don't want though I will probably take up one of the options offered Thank you Alex!

Turner & Hares is a bespoke tailor shop located on Castle Street. The store offers impeccable attention to detail and exceptional customer service, ensuring that each client's needs and style preferences are met. The spacious and well-decorated shop provides a comfortable browsing experience, with knowledgeable staff members like Claire and Danielle who go above and beyond to assist customers. Despite delays due to COVID-19, clients have praised the staff for their courteous and respectful service.
The suits you made for our wedding were wonderful from start to finish! They looked great on the day fitting all five members of the wedding perfectly. The suit fitting appointment (and overall service) was the perfect start to my Stag do weekend. So glad we found your shop, Thankyou!
Matt H — Google review
Both Clare and Danielle (supervised by Roxy 🐶) were amazing. I went into this whole process with a distinct lack of confidence - I know absolutely nothing when it comes to clothes or fashion, and even less when it comes to smart wear. I’ve never really owned a “proper” suit before, let alone a made to measure one. In a lot of other suit and menswear shops, I felt quite intimidated. I don’t think it was intentional, but the language used and the assumption you understood the basic concepts were often quite alienating and off putting. This was not the case at Turner and Hares. It was the type of place where I felt I could revel in my lack of knowledge, and ask the “dumb” questions that came into my head during the MTM process. And those questions were always met with a friendly and clear answer. I really value being comfortable displaying those insecurities, and being met with reassurance and advice - it’s such a nice way to learn. I was also really grateful for Clare and Danielle’s opinions. It was helpful to have a knowledgeable soundboard for bouncing ideas off. They had a measured approach that stopped me from buying a hot-pink suit that I’d likely regret (maybe another day…), but equally encouraged me to add the flourishes to my suit that gave it character that I really wanted. Can’t recommend them enough. Already trying to find an excuse as to why I need some more bits from there - the boot selection in particular look super cool. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s a very friendly dog looking for fuss, and coffee was always on offer - honestly, you can’t go wrong.

I thoroughly recommend the made to order service. I got my wedding suit and best man's suit from Turner and Hares. Both Claire and Danielle were very knowledgeable and helpful in creating the perfect suits for the day. Being able to choose so many of the details, from stitching, to lining, to a couple of embroidered messages really added the personal touch to the suits.

A fantastic shop run by great people! Thank you for helping me with my suit trousers and when they didn’t fit perfectly caring enough to resolve the issue and post them back to me. In a word ‘Brilliant!’
Alex F — Google review
I cannot recommend the made-to-measure service here highly enough. I recently got married and got my suit here, which was an extremely enjoyable experience from start to finish. Selections are vast (in the hundreds at least), and I was able to choose literally every detail of the suit: materials, linings, buttons and an embroidered detail in the lining! Clare and Danielle were amazing through the whole process and I am thrilled with the end product. They even offered to take my shirt to have my shirt tailored so that it sat perfectly. A great service run by great people.

I had my wedding suit made by Turner and Hares this year. The attention to detail was incredible during the design stage, completely understanding and working with my taste and style to create the perfect suit. The staff and attentive and caring, going above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the fit, style and everything else. The suit itself was incredible. The fit was perfect, the quality of the tweed was second to none and the detail with the stitching was beautiful. I will definitely be coming back for future events, I cannot imagine getting another suit from anywhere else apart from Turner & Hares

Went in on boxing day. Lady in shop was very helpful and friendly. A shame that the shoes I have been looking at for some time online were too big. Definitely worth a visit.
Cameron H — Google review
Popped in near closing time, friendly staff! Unsure sure what size I was but the lady was helpful and had a laugh with her. Highly recommend! No big upsell, went in looking for the boots I wanted and left with them. I wish I could remembered her name.
Aiden W — Google review
I think Jones Bootmakers need to sort their stocks and website. Placed an order for a birthday present and the day before the given delivery date a refund notification came through on email with no explanation. The following day had another email later detailing that they had sold out. Don’t take peoples money if you can not supply the goods.

Came in while visiting the area and was served by Jo, who was so helpful and friendly. She is a credit to your business! ...thanks from the pregnant woman 😉
Chelsea A — Google review
Rude. Just popped in to browse at just after 4.20pm on a Sunday. I knew the sh op was shutting at 4.30pm. The woman didn’t say hello or ask how she could help, just said abruptly “the shop’s shutting in 2 minutes” I replied oh - I didn’t think you closed until 4.30, turned and walked out. I won’t be walking into that shop again. It’s hard enough for retailers to make ends meet in small towns.. if this experience is anything to go by, I’m not surprised.

I bought a lovely jumper on Tuesday but the assistant had left the security tag on which means I now have to make a round trip of 20 miles to have it taken off. We all make mistakes but it's a bit inconvenient to say the least. I don't need anything else in Cirencester today so will go solely for that purpose. I did get a rather lame apology which I tried to accept graciously. Maybe give a small discount or something as a gesture of goodwill? Feeling a little disappointed in White Stuff.

Miserable old man running the shop who clearly doesn’t like children being in his shop, despite the fact that they stock a range of jellycat toys. Most unwelcome from the moment we walked in. Will certainly never return.

Visitors can explore the store's extensive collection that unfolds like a serpentine trail, guided by a friendly and honest team. The center boasts an outstanding and varied selection of antiques at fair prices, making it a treasure trove for all tastes and budgets.
One of the biggest and best Antique shops that I have even been to ! I didn’t want to get out ever! Anything that you can imagine or think of, you can find an antique version of that in their shop. You might think that this is just a small shop by the looks of it from outside, but it goes on and on through the rooms, spaces, floor by floor and each room will surprise you in a different way. You can make sense out of their categorising system. Although they have loads of valuable and expensive stuff, they also have many affordable ones for antique lovers. Their vintage kitchen was brilliant. Just a dreamy place that you should definitely visit.
Shabnam B — Google review
Fascinating "little" shop which seems to go on forever. Extends over more than one floor but yours truly only managed to explore the ground one due to what seems to be thousands of purchasable items around every corner. Half expected to bump into another Japanese soldier not aware that the war ended. Please don't quote me on this but I think I overheard that goods in excess of twenty bar can be haggled over in terms of the final cost. It may also be true, but probably isn't, that the proprietor is open to being challenged to an arm-wrestle to determine prices. What is certain is that I was made to feel very welcome even though I mentioned I was only browsing. If you're in Cirencester knock the Corn Hole (booooo!) on the head and cross the road to this little gem.

One of the biggest antique shops I have visited and you can find a lot of things there. Cirencester Antiques Centre is a true gem for antique lovers. The staff are knowledgeable and passionate about antiques, providing insightful information and friendly service. The ambiance of the shop is charming, with well-organized displays that make browsing a pleasure. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just looking for a unique find, this shop is definitely worth a visit!

We loved wandering through this sprawling indoor antique shop, where every inch of every room was filled with treasures and curiosities. Each member of the family found items to pique interest and we were surprised by how large this building actually is! Room after room surprised us. Prices were very fair and items were nicely displayed. Definitely worth a visit!

I've a friend who is coeliac, there's a number of stalls in Cirencester open market who cater very well for her culinary needs. I wasn't to know but it turns out that Saturday, the day I visited, is 'Continental' market day (whatever that means. Anyone want a Korean corn dog?). The stalls I specifically went to see weren't there, perhaps they failed to be continental enough? Anyhoo, I thought I'd review anyway just in case I drop dead prior to going back there. I'm not planning to, but you never know when the grim reaper will scythe your legs from beneath you. Not usually a fan of coffee served in a paper cup but the two young ladies in the mobile coffee shop presented me with a delicious latte, complete with an adequate swirly. They also seemed to be tremendous fun with boundless energy. I would highly recommend this market, not only on Saturdays, but also when those coeliac friendly stalls are around.

Great little market, with different markets on 4 times a week. Farmer’s market fortnightly is the best - great produce including spirits & liqueurs from local distilleries.

Best place to get all of the local goods - pies, cheese and even yarn!

Wheelchair access is very good with paved flat surfaces and the stalls are always laid out with wide aisles. Disabled parking is nearby but get here early on market day (Friday). The market place has been resurfaced for step free access from pavement to road and the indoor market opposite is step free, as are the individual shops and cafe. Cirencester offers freedom to wheelchair users and is a real lesson in accessibility.

I purchased two beautiful nightstands crafted from reclaimed timber at #now_vintage, an antique shop. The tables were of exceptional craftsmanship and offered at a reasonable cost. I am planning to revisit the store in the future. Additionally, my spouse discovered some impressive vinyl records during our visit and expressed intentions to return for further purchases. The establishment boasts an extensive assortment of items and provides a welcoming atmosphere with excellent customer service. My gratitude goes out to the staff for their assistance.
We love this shop and always pop in when we are over that way. Little gem we got today was a lovely crystal light fitting that looks beautiful in our Lounge. Sarah is a lovely Lady and I always have my obligatory cuddle with her little sweetheart dog❤🐾. A truly fab shop.

I love this charity shop. It’s great cause and staff are very friendly. Excellent place for plates, other kitchenware & good condition furniture. Other people have noted how expensive it is. It is a little pricey depending on what you’re getting but most things are reasonably priced.
A R — Google review
Prices are ridiculous. £85 for a insubstantial Gucci sunglasses case, £12 for a used dress from Tesco, £195 for a very poor quality pine chest of drawers that would probably cost less than £100 new, I could go on....Surely it makes more sense to price things sensibly so that they sell and raise money for this very worthwhile cause which was surely the intent of the donors. All the customers seemed to be equally astounded. Staff were very friendly.
Nathalie D — Google review
Just moved into a new house and got my sofa from here. A lot cheaper that what I could find online and super good quality for something seccond hand. The staff were really lovely and helpful, also communicated well about the delivery of the sofa. They have lots of items to chose from, would reccomend, especially as the money is going to a good cause 🫶

Staying in Cirencester and visited the shop for the first time. Ludicrous prices- no comparison to the other charity shops in the area. Women sat at till with short bobbed blonde hair was discussing with a young male with short dark hair items and what she had got from the shop at discount price for her self. She didnt move off the chair or bother to ask anyone if they needed help . I went over to the electrical items near till and could see she was on Ebay. I wouldnt donate to this store at all or advise anyway with their relatives precious items .
Linda R — Google review
Firstly I would like to start by saying how expensive this charity shop is. Items which I have seen new in the original shops are a quarter of the price this charity shop is selling for. The staff are extremely rude, I believe it is the manager of the shop a women with short blonde hair who is usually working out the back. I was with my daughter and my daughter is of darker skin, I’m not sure if this was why she followed my daughter around the shop, making my daughter feel very uncomfortable to the point she wanted to leave the shop and was extremely upset about it. This is not a charity at all, it’s very hard to believe that this manager cares about the welfare of cats & dogs as her attitude towards humans is concerning. I will be making a formal complaint to the regulating body of this charity shop and in particular the manager and person behind the prices.
James K — Google review
Phoned up asked if they could takes some boxes of linen and toys from me, had to explain what linen was, they replied in the affirmative, so we loaded up the car with lots of boxes and when we arrived they took 3 small boxes and refused the rest, as they didn't have the space. An absolute waste of time, effort and fuel. I will never give a donation of any type to this charity again and would not recommend it to any one.
Julie — Google review
Wow what a lovely charity shop, we were on holiday and found this great shop. We frequently use charity shops and this one was beautifully laid out with a great selection of furniture, brica clothing and much more. We found the prices a little bit more expensive than what we are used to in Norfolk but this seemed normal for your area. Staff and volunteers very welcoming and friendly.
Claire S — Google review
This charity shop has everything from furniture to wedding dresses. I found the the items I was hoping to get, and some really great quality clothes. Well organised and presented as a retail space. What really adds that extra touch is the lovely friendly staff. It's like being welcomed by old friends who at the same time are all about customer service. Special mentions go to Liam and Sam who were at the payment desk today. Really friendly and upbeat guys who represent the charity well with their interactions and the way they had everything well organised.
