The Purwokerto station is conveniently located in the middle of the city. It is easy to reach by car and there is ample parking. The drop-off area is very well organized and there are many porters ready to assist. The station building is very well organized and it is very clean. There are automated ticket machines which can print your tickets, and also manual ticket offices if needed. You can wait in the ticket office area, or in the waiting hall, located after the validation of the tickets. Also the waiting hall is very clean, and so are the toilets. You can also wait outside, and watch the trains come and go. The announcements for your train are only made in Bahasa, but there are also monitors with all information needed. We traveled first class and it is worth noting that the trains between Jakarta and Yogjakarta aren’t turned around. So if you are in the train car next to the locomotive traveling from Jakarta to Yogjakarta, the same train car will be at the end of the train in the opposite direction. The staff at the station are very friendly and helpful.

after I checked in, I can not find any charging point in the waiting room. Not as the other train station where I can find charging point everywhere. the waiting room itself quite tiny, not that spacious. literally on the circulation area. I wish after the expansion and renovation, it will be more better.

They have spacious waiting area. Spacious parking area. Good service. Clean environment and clean restroom. They also have many boarding check machine. They have many convenience store, restaurant, cafe, executive lounge, ATM gallery, good customer service, good ticketing service. Overall is outstanding.

Almost the same with another train station in Indonesia. This station built since 18 centuries, and managed-operated by PT Kereta Api (Persero) which is one of the State-Owned Enterprise in Indonesia. There is good ambience here, and I think this is one of the most important train station in Middle Java. As a recommendation, there must be a significant change for their toilet at main hall (public). Its position is quite far from main hall and there is no proper access, especially for people with disabilities.

The station is so big. They have AC waiting room and charger area. The toilet super clean so don't worry 😉. All of officers very kind and helpful but the minus is the place for antigen is so far though. Im tired lmao but despite of that, the services of this station is amazing. Keep it up 👍🏻

Nice staff, really helpful. It was very small back then, and government renovated it. And it turns out be a nice clean large ac-friendly train station nowadays. It only took 5 hours from jakarta if you use executive train such as taksaka train. At waiting room, there is a playground area for kids even its kinda small though.

The station is small but comfortable and clean. There are very neat arrangements inside and outside the station, the attendants are very helpful and polite. Prayer room available.

Alun - alun purwokerto ( purwokerto town square ) is located in the center of purwokeerto. We visited in the morning , and we walked around . The area are neat and clean , even the size of town square weren't big.this place closed with mosque, goverment office and rita mall.

The heart large square field of town that exist from colonial era surrounded by goverment buildings, other classic housings and big mosque. People is passing by night and day for just walking or find something to eat of snack around it. Easy spot of meeting point for most people who came to town.

Temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic as I and my wife stopped here recently. The historical town square of the former Purwokerto City (now part of Banyumas Regency) in Central Java Province is a vast, clean and well organized green grass field located within a busy business center and government office area. Streets with heavy traffic. The square is surrounded by the popular giant Rita Pasaraya Mall and restaurants to the South, the Baitussalam Grand Mosque and an ATM Center to the West, offices of the Regent and the Local House of Representatives to the North, and BRI Bank to the East. At night the sidewalk facing the Rita Pasaraya becomes a lively place with street food stalls.

Very nice place if you visit at night. There a lot of food vendors diverse, very suitable when you visit to fill the spare time. Square decorated with Fountain around posts 'purwokerto' and writing 'purwokerto' can change the color in a matter of second. This square also close to the mall and city crowd purwokerto.

Alun-alun it’s mean huge a Park in the middle of city center. This alun-alun need more grenner because not much trees. Front of the big Mall in Purwokerto So easy to getting there. Many street food If you feel hungry. It’s Good for family time.

Nice to visit a totally natural Javanese town in the cooler hills of central Java.Take a trip out of town into the relaxing countryside.Some good food here too.

Nice place for spending time with families. Surrounded with greenish and nature's sounds giving us comfortable feelings. Mostly visitors explore the place using their vehicles, but I think walking also nice. Burning out calories also seeing sceneries. Don't forget to bring umbrella because rain can come in any minutes. They are shelters, but yeah not in many places.

One of the attractions known as "Kebun Raya" is located in the hinterland area of Banyumas, Indonesia. We arrived around noon, just before closing time. The atmosphere was quiet and calm, and the air felt fresh. There weren't many activities available, but we enjoyed leisurely walking around and taking in the sights of the green trees in the area.

Kebun Raya Baturraden is a very fresh and green space suitable for those who crave for plants, views, and hiking spaces. So that this place is not kids friendly because the access is using a lot of stairs. There are some food stalls which sell pecel, pop mie, and mendhoan. There is also decent and wide enough parking area and some toilets. There is no ticket, you just need to pay for the parking.

Beautiful view, great place for picnic. Some of the facilities look like they've been abandoned, the road within the area has been worn away, and there are potholes too.

Fantastic scenery and greenery! Loved the Botanical gardens! Will be back to drive a Jeep!

The area is very beautiful, with fresh air, tall trees and beautiful plants and flowers. However, most of the facilities were closed when we went there. Otherwise it would be a great place for picnic

The park not so large, there's a walking trail but mossy, very slippery. Really dangerous to walk on it.

A nice city park, unfortunately the lack of trees make the open-place concept rather unsuitable, because it feel very hot at the daylight and make the visitors rather uncomfortable and some plants shrivel due to the intense heat. Most of the food stall closed, decrease the food choice desired by the visitors. I visited the park on weekday, so the park not really crowded. But I give the credit to the park staffs for maintaining the cleanliness of the park (not a single rubbish caught my eye).

Good little town park, a place where you can spend time with children and families. It has some playground area, an open stage and a more private area for rent if you want to make an event in this park. Public toilet, Food and beverages shops are available too. The entrance fee is cheap.

Don't come here when you are starving, because it takes more than an hour to serve your orders, sometimes it will be longer. Come here about an hour before you start to feel starving, then you'll be alright. The vibe is quite nice. The prices are affordable. The foods taste was good.

Prime location connected to mall and right facing town square, very suitable to enjoy the town's heart. A big pity, the food I had were disappointed. Need a big action to improve them!

I love its interior which has private space for each customer. It has like rooms separated by wooden materials partition. The sushi is quite pricey but the salmon is good. The ramen also has quite many choices with curry or shoyu.
