I love this park, especially in spring. I was in the area and brought a burger from burgers and barley here. Love all the blossoms, it's fun to walk all around, slowly, taking in everything. There are plenty of swings to rest on!
Such a beautiful little free park! I feel like Thomas Kincaid would like this park. I was jealous of the people living across from it that could go at any time because I would be there all the time reading books or working on my computer! The tadpoles were the biggest I’ve ever seen, and that was pretty cool! And we were all lucky enough to stumble upon a princess photo shoot! Lots of benches throughout to sit on, which is nice.
Glencairn Garden is a lovely, peaceful place in Rock Hill. It’s clean, well-maintained, and full of colorful flowers. Great for a walk, photos, or just relaxing. The fountains, pond, and Veterans Garden add to the charm. Best of all, it’s free to visit. Highly recommend!🐢💐🌸🪻🪷🪴
I took my niece and cousin here and we had a blast! It’s only fun if you’re the outdoorsy type because it’s just different trails that go through different gardens and each one has a unique vibe. They also have many bench swings throughout the place. My niece is 5 and she just couldn’t get enough of the place!!
Beautiful park, lovely flowers it’s quiet and so relaxing. There are sometimes workers out there planting flowers and keeping the garden lovely they are very nice and friendly. Great place for a small picnic date.
Glencairn is a special place for the community, and has been for many decades. It is where all local photographers take their families, prom goers, and graduates for photo shoots. The azaleas and camellias do not disappoint and make it one of the few parks with winter and early spring blooms. As a park neighbor, the staff and security carts do an outstanding job.
Clean and pretty park. Nice walking path and fountains.
Such a beautiful park/garden. Lots of natural areas and lots of swings and benches to relax.

Lots of animals to see. I feel like they should have had a live aquarium though I asked the worker if the animals was real and she explained me how it actually worked so that was very helpful
Overall we had a great experience! The museum is very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This is one of the smaller, older museums. Nonetheless, it is great for younger children. They have a small playroom for toddlers and infants. We did enjoy their planetarium as well!
I was impressed that in a not big town there is a rather impressive museum with a huge selection of exhibits and I was surprised that there was a planitarium and kid's play area. We were satisfied.
Very well done. They provide hands-on for so many things - more so than any other museum I've been to. They also include a planetarium show. Parking is good & free. It is a bit out of the way, but worth the trip. Nice people working there. Price is very reasonable.
We visited Saturday, a calm and nice place to explore the Museum
I don't know who enjoys this museum more- the kids or me! The first time we went there was a great exhibit on nocturnal animals ;however, the second time that was closed. I love the taxidermied animals and a great learning experience for kids for different terrains and the animals and plants that grown within them. There are tables to investigate more and many books and information! I have yet to be in the planetarium as they are limited in show times. My kids really enjoy the kids room too- kitchen area, puppets, blocks galore. A safe and fun space for kids of all ages (probably best for those under 6). Most employees very nice - one lady was getting on kids in kids area to clean up behind themselves in a strict manner. Cute gift shop for local gifts. I would love to see an upgrade to the outside of the building to be more welcoming and maybe something's done outside -- garden, bird houses, etc. For it to represent all of York County a few upgrades would be great!!
For a small country museum, I was impressed. When I took my son, they had a dinosaur exhibit. Please do not think there were giant fossils or anything else you would expect from a museum in a big city, but it was cute for my 3 year old. They had 2 different dinosaur mazes. This is where you answered questions about dinosaurs to get through the maze successfully. They had 'dinosaur feet' the kids could put on and walk on a memory foam mattress to make tracks. There were lots of small dinosaur toys to play with as well. There is a room that is a permanent fixture that kids can play in. He really liked this room a lot! We spent an hour in there. There are also large taxidermy animals at one end, which were interesting for my little guy. We spend about 3 hours here. Since we have a membership at the Children's Museum, we also got in here for free.
Not just for little dino fans!!! Teen and adult dinosaur enthusiasts will absolutely lovethe programming currently available at the Museum of York County! A great deal was organized/provided by the Natural History Museum and other museums and research facilities outside of York County, but the focus is largely on what has been discovered in South Carolina and where the dig sites have been. The standard naturalist center with its drawers and drawers of fossils, samples and artifacts is still here and well-maintained, but the displays of ancient creatures and eras, and the connections to our lives today, have been revamped and do not disappoint. Be sure to bisit the planetarium as well - two shows focused on the dinosaurs, and both end with a quick view of our current night sky. (Sky maps for the month you visit are provided after each show - free of charge!)

This is an amazing hidden gem! We are so excited to have found this place. It has 82 camping sites ALL paved and beautiful with just enough trees. It's a York County park in Rock Hill sc. There is an amazing playground with like a rubber ground cover. The bathrooms are so slender and spacious. The little beach area is so perfect for swimming. I can't say enough sood things about this park it's 100% a place we will come back to.
Ebenezer Park is such a beautiful and relaxing spot. I really enjoyed the beach area where you can sit by the water and enjoy swimming. Many people come here for camping, and the atmosphere feels very peaceful. The best part is that the entry is free, which makes it even better for families and friends to spend the day together. The lake view is amazing, and the sunsets here are absolutely stunning. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area.
Ebenezer Park is a fantastic summer retreat! The recent upgrades have made it even more inviting, with plenty of amenities to enjoy. Whether you're looking to relax on the beach, let the kids explore the play area, or have a picnic by the water, there's something for everyone. The park also offers convenient facilities like concession stand, restrooms, showers, and ample parking, plus great options for outdoor activities—volleyball, tennis, and boating ramps! And with only a nominal entry fee, it's an affordable way to spend a fun and refreshing day.
Who doesn’t love a good waterfront place? So we ended up here since it’s only about 20 minutes from us. But once we arrived, we found out that if you aren’t from York County, you have to pay $12/ adult, which I felt was a bit high. However, since we got there at 8pm and the park closes at 9pm, the lady at the front let us in without any charge, which was nice. Coming to the park, definitely a very good vibe, beautiful views! There were a lot of trailers parked and many people were camping, something to explore! There’s a small beach that looked very clean and nice to swim in. There’s also a lovely pier area to walk around, which had a lot of swings, so if you’re visiting around sunset, it’s a great spot to enjoy the view. I would say a good waterfront park overall! But it’s only worth the entry fee if you come in the morning and make the most of it. There’s also a nice playground for the kids and restrooms where you can change clothes.
Such a beautiful park! There’s a huge parking area, a nice playground for kids, and even a beach. The walking bridge with swings is so pretty — perfect for photos or just relaxing. You can go jet skiing, boating, or paddleboarding here too. Everything about this place is just great — peaceful, clean, and fun for everyone! 🌳🚤🌅
Nice Views ! Children Play Area ! Sufficient seating space to enjoy the view ! Have washrooms ! Bathing area ! Perfect Place for picnic and family outing. Prefer to visit this place via own car. You might have to wait for 20-30 min to get a car if you booked it via Uber or Lyft. Cold Drink Vending machine available. Boat Rentals also available near to this place.
This place is a hidden gem in plain sight. This park has everything that you can possibly think of, a lake with a beach, a pier for fishing, shelters for celebrating birthday parties, clean restrooms, ramps for boats, kids play area and many more features. A York county canteen provides condiments at reasonable prices. A 10/10 from me.
Awesome park and campground!! We love camping there!! Been twice this yr and looking forward to the next trip. The kids love the playground and the beach. The sites are amazing. And the staff is top notch.

Beautiful park in Rock Hill, SC with a huge water fountain. Went to the Old Town market here. Market happens every Saturday until October 26, 2024 from 9am-2pm. Lots of free parking. Enjoyed looking around.
Beautiful and well maintained park. Quiet. Not as busy as I thought. It was raining earlier so it may have been a factor to that. It's relatively flat, so it's good for riding a bike or skateboard. I'm not sure if that's allowed but I'd do it anyway. The mist of the fountain water is very refreshing from all of the humidity that we have to deal with. Loved watching the water go up and down, especially when it would hit its peak.
What a charming little park! It’s a delightful, family-friendly spot that's perfect for spending quality time together. They were getting ready to screen a movie, which added an extra layer of excitement to the atmosphere!
Wow, this fountain is stunning. It was an unexpected surprise when we pulled off the interstate to check out the city of Rock Hill. The fountain had different patterns to go through. And I was surprised at the size and how far the water shot into the air. There was an amphitheatre and several benches around to be able to sit down. I believe I seen a drinking fountain as well. Would love to see this at nighttime.
I just stopped thru the park one night after leaving a restaurant for dinner. I took a stroll and sat and watched the water for a little while. It was very peaceful and calm. The weather was very pleasant. It just so happened to be the night of the strawberry moon. The sky was beautiful and the moon was radiant that night. I loved the beautiful flowers they have planted there at the park also. The hydrangeas were in full bloom. The huge water bugs crawling around was a bit scary I must add. There were tons of them. I guess you can expect to see water bugs where there is a huge water fountain though...lol. I ended up going back to my car and chilling for a while as I watched the fountain in motion. I opened up my sunroof to get a glimpse of the beautiful red moon. Even dozed off for a quick nap while I was out there. It was a great visit at the fountain. I must go more often .
Loved the fountain...went looking for free things to do in the evening...awesome choice.
I went there for the farmers market. There are vendors set up on either side of the park. Lots of varieties from fresh veggies to fresh sourdough breads to craft vendors.
This is a great place to just chill. I like coming here with our dogs and walking around. The sound of the water is very calming and there's enough space to sit and read or just meditate. The fountain is centrally located shops and restaurants as well.

This place is a perfect set up for your younger children to explore and use imaginative play. My son enjoyed the blower tube installation the most! It blows soft balls and you have the option to change which bird house the ball flies out of. This was a hit withal every kid that we saw that day. In addition to that area there’s a cottage area with a play kitchen and play dining area. Outside of that area is a play garden. There is also a castle area (see picture) and a throne with dress up clothing (you can be a dragon, Robin Hood, knights, fairies!) There’s also a play pirate ship and train table. Our toddler was throughly entertained and kept busy playing in all the areas. They do not allow food and drink inside the area. You get about 2.5 hrs with the reservation. We stayed 2 hrs before my toddler was asking for a snack.
Had my daughter’s 3rd birthday party here recently. She had a great time with her friends so no issues with that. As members, the initial $350 price is very reasonable but the additional cost of $14/pp over the 25 limit seems a bit ridiculous especially for infants. Was charged $70 for 5 infants ( all under 12 months ). How can you justify this as acceptable as they were held most of the time for the duration of the party and would typically be free if it was during the week ( general admission is free for 12 months and under ).
I took my 2.7 year old granddaughter for Winnie the Pooh playtime. It was $2 extra for admission. She wasn't really into the hole. We need a Poo thing, but the activities they had set up were cute. Plenty to do, plenty of volunteers, and comfortable enough that you aren't on edge watching like a hawk. She had a ball and loved the air maze, dress up, kitchen, and the puppets! We will be back.
This place is very cute! Perfect place to let your kids play without having to worry about them running off. It’s small enough to where you can relax but also has so much to do. We stayed for 2 hours and our kids weren’t ready to leave. It was always kept tidy while we were there and the parents cleaned up at each station once their kid was done so that it’s ready for the next kid to play in that area. Staff were nice and friendly. Would definitely visit again if we didn’t live so far away. My daughter absolutely loved that costume she was wearing, she didn’t want to take it off and my son was obsessed with all of the puppets!
We just visited for the first time and my 15 month old loved it!!! She had so much fun. It’s a great place to let your smaller children get out some energy and explore. As someone who worries about the cleanliness of play places, I felt fairly relaxed here. Everything is frequently cleaned and I especially loved that there is a basket for “tasted” toys to be sanitized. Can’t wait to come back!
Great place for young kids to play for a few hours. $6 admission was very reasonable. It's in an old bank, so the architecture is neat to see as well. Definitely recommend if you have young kids and need to kill some time.
The event scheduler is very unprofessional. I reached out to inquire about a birthday party in December. The scheduler responded back in one line- that day is not available. No greeting, no signature, no alternate date suggestions, no apologies, nothing. This is not normal for a business. We love the museum and we are members, but they need to teach the scheduler how to communicate appropriately with people who want to pay $350 for a simple party.
Great for little kids to play is a joyful and safe space.

One of the better soccer complexes in the area. Ample parking, well-maintained turf fields, seated spectator area, and a nice concessions/restroom building. Very impressed with the facilities overall. Short drive from I-77.
Today my cousin’s son had a match at Manchester Meadows Park, and it was a great place for soccer. The fields are well set up, organized, and you can tell the facility is maintained for games and tournaments. I met Coach Mathew, and he was excellent very knowledgeable, patient, and great with the 4–5 year old kids. That kind of coaching really makes a difference for the little ones. The park also has clean bathrooms, easy parking, and even a playground for kids who aren’t playing soccer but want to have fun. We really enjoyed the day here, and I’d happily come back for more matches in the future.
One of our sons (our 3rd child) had a soccer tournament at this park. The fields were very well-maintained and clearly identified, the bathrooms were fairly clean (for a public restroom)🚻🚼, the walking paths were either new or like new (I'm not sure how old this park is, but they looked to be in fairly new condition).🆕️ It definitely made pushing a stroller and having to walk with a cane much easier (and safer). I am a disabled Mom with MS. So, that is important. There were plenty of clearly marked handicapped ♿️ parking spots. The front of the park has beautiful signage that makes for an awesome photo spot for the players and teams. There was also plenty of room, without compromising walkability, for vendors to set up for tournament gear and memorabilia, and they had a concession stand for your hungry little ones watching their siblings play, to quench their thirst (or yours) in the heat, to reward your hard-working players after their match, or for the adults (Mom, Dad, grandparents, etc) with them to get a well-deserved snack or drink, too. There are plenty of trash AND recycling receptacles as well, so there is no excuse to not keep this beautifully designed and maintained park clean. 🚮♻️ Lastly, we live in the North Charlotte area. However, this park was not hard to get to or to find at all. As a matter of fact, it is worth the drive for our son and his team to be able to compete on pitches that are in great condition as these are. ⚽️🥅 Trust me (as a soccer Mom for 23 years now), I know firsthand that not all are like this, unfortunately. 🥇🏆 Definitely check Manchester Meadows out if you get the chance. We may have to come back to check out their other amenities (like bringing our dogs here since they are allowed as per the "about" section on here, the playground, the walking/hiking trails, or the picnic tables for a nice picnic lunch outdoors. 😊☀️🛝🪁🎉🐕‍🦺🥪🍎🥤
Awesome park. Everything from the plants, to the walking areas to the fields are kept in immaculate condition. There is ample seating everywhere, water fountains, and tons of activities such as walking trails, picnic benches, and a large and small playground. Staff is friendly and informative, and drove around on golf carts cleaning up the whole time I was there.
Beautifully well kept park. Soccer everywhere. Clean bathrooms and a great playground
We play soccer here and this is our first year. We love how it has so many different fields. We love the pond with a trail that we use to always visit to see the fish. I've even had events using the shelter and it was easy to book.
Nice park, Huge soccer fields, & A Neat water fountain to look at from a distance (preferably from the walking path or the swings on the side of those walking paths). There are swings to sit on beside the trail that's right next to a pond. Very serene. Quiet and relaxing. There are restrooms at multiple sites at this location. The playground is fairly big for the kids to play on. No sand. It's that like "spongey like mulch" below your feet at the playground. The park is mostly comprised of a jungle gym with slides. No seesaws & no swings but they do have a rock climbing wall for the kids (just be aware though... if your kid isn't paying attention well enough, there's a bar that's very easy for the kids to hit their heads in at the top of that rock climbing wall). I know my kid loves coming to play at this playground. It's nice here. There is usually another child the same age as my own for them to play with here. Plenty of benches placed around the playground area for parents to sit and watch their children from. Some are even shaded by a tree or two depending on the time of day. There are some picnic tables out here too, as well as a few grills. We liked it. Located in a nice space with plenty of parking available. We go often. It does look as though they have taken out one of the dinosaur structures but there is another still there right across from it.
Great place for a family reunion! Lots of space, and clean facilities.
