I reserved a king room and they tried at check-in to place me in a double room and lied that no rooms available. Eventually they had a king room magically available although they were “Sold Out” when I checked in. House keeping needs to be requested at check-in or else they won’t clean your room daily. I asked in the morning and the front desk said they could accommodate, and when the room wasn’t cleaned by 4pm they hid behind a policy that since i didn’t request at check-in I wouldn’t get any room cleaning. The whole staff was wonderful, attentive, & very accommodating. The location is perfect, you can walk to the Worth Avenue for shopping & restaurants. Beach access is a few minutes walk. Since we had our boat it needed to be parked far aways so we needed a luggage cart. We took one and the bellman yell at us that we could not take it, where we were going, we tried to explain but he kept yelling that it was a liability issue, which I completely understand, but he never offer to help and ended up yelling: “ahhh do whatever you want” to my boyfiend. That was so uncalled for. Sunday we got to go on our boat and needed a cart to bring our cooler to the boat, I was told again I could not use the cart and no one offer to help. When we arrive from the beach we stop at the vallet/lobby are to unload our cooler and beach bag and vallet immediately said: “this will be fast right?” when actually not even one minute passed and I was already done with my stuff. Monday was different they had an amazing bellman which finally was able to help us and we were able to check out with an amazing blonde lady who tried her best to provide us the best service, too bad we saw her on our check out. First the front desk had issues checking me in (I was a guest of a timeshare owner). Everytime Hilton would call to have the issue resolved they would tell me that nobody had contacted them. The rooms are extremely outdated, broken fridge, Loud microwave, and yellow bath water. It cost $4 per wash or dry for laundry and the credit card machine for it was down, so unless you have cash you can’t wash your clothes. The restaurant was very mediocre. The “private beach” is a joke. You can’t bring any of your own stuff but will have the pay at least $250 for an umbrella… they nickel and dime everything but clearly don’t use the money to fix up the resort. The pool area is suppose to have fountains but they don’t run. Just stay at the Marriott for this price.

We were always made to feel welcome from check in to the dining room. My biggest issue is I paid $317 a night for an ocean view room. Unfortunately i did not at this one. When we arrived staff was not attentive and didn’t feel welcomed. We dined at the restaurant and food was decent but service was awful. For reference it took 1hr 30 mins for breakfast and another 10 mins after i requested the server. Everyday we would go to the pool/ beach and there were not any clean towels. The staff member would always say “there is 30 mins left on laundry” mind you this is the first hotel ever where I never had a clean towel and it didn’t take 30 mins but over 2 hours. We also ordered food by the pool and our server forgot to put it in and lied to us that the kitchen was backed up. Even though we saw people who ordered after us get their food. The server said he would comp the check but unfortunately still got charged after checking out. The main positive thing was the room. It was excellent, clean and beautiful view. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. Spend the extra money and get a nicer hotel.

We left a day early because overall this place was not to the Hilton standards. Asked for a microwave at check in and was told they would bring it right up. Asked again after not receiving it. Then was told they didn’t have any. The fridge in the room did not cool at all. Maintenance came and we were told that all the fridges were that way. Housekeeping came the first day and we had to specifically ask the next two days to get our room cleaned. The last days cleaning was substandard. The fitness center was dirty and not cleaned. The rooms are ancient and uncomfortable. They have fancy motion sensing lights and upgraded USB charging options but that's about it. The beds are old, the climate control is from last century, the sound insulation is non-existent to the point that outside music is easily heard with all doors and windows sealed. The pool temperature is warm yet refreshing and the pool is large and very clean. The parking garage is safe and easy. I think my favorite thing was the breakfast which is included with your stay and I think I had the best omelette I’ve ever had. It’s just so nice to be able to go downstairs and grab coffee or a fountain drink. There’s also a 24 hour store if you need to grab something. The maintenance guy came in late that morning and fixed the hot water issue but 2 hours prior to needing to check out and nothing was done or given for the inconvenience. There’s nothing wrong with renovating your hotel but why did you inform us of this renovation AFTER we booked. That is truly inconvenient because the pool is my favorite part of hotels on vacation and I was looking forward to going to the pool every morning. Not only that they had people working while we were staying which is another inconvenience. If you’re going to renovate why not just close the hotel for that week. While the construction workers were there, I was outside just relaxing drinking my water when all of a sudden a piece of the floor YES THE floor fell into my water like what are the odds 😐(and I have pictures too). The breakfast here is not good at all like omg, not once did they even serve bacon. The pancake maker doesn’t even cook your pancakes all the way and the apple juice is 100% watered down. No one came in to clean our rooms and when they did they just made the beds didn’t even change the sheets even though there was a stain in the sheets. There was a hair in the shower and the toilet wasn’t cleaned all the way I saw some yellow residue when I was cleaning and lifted the toilet seat. And I can’t believe one night when I went to take a shower I saw a roach crawling on the floor. I’ve never been to a hotel and seen a roach before I was disgusted (see picture with it crushed in a paper towel). Oh yeah and the water wouldn’t go down in the shower.

We chose to stay here just to extend our vacation from a timeshare we had booked, and even though this doesn't have ocean view it is much cozier for the price! Also, in comparison this place has a way better mattress and thank heavens a ceiling fan!!! We did book this through our RCI hotels discount and I'm glad we did!
