The first room they put us in had a leaky bathtub which water was constantly running, so we had to move rooms. The restaurants in the hotel were excellent tho. Sorry Golden Nugget...u dropped the ball on this one.

Dining: The food at the café was very disappointing. We ordered four entrées and one appetizer, and unfortunately each dish had some kind of issue. Our server, however, was excellent—very attentive and even offered to make it right. Having worked in the service industry ourselves, we decided to just let it go, but I wouldn’t dine there again. On the upside, we did enjoy Doe’s Eat Place during our stay. Rooms: This area definitely needs improvement. The bedding felt very “outdated” and questionable, the carpet was in poor condition, and our fridge never really got cold. On top of that, the ice machine was consistently on a 45+ minute delay the entire stay. Being this is such a kid friendly place there really should be a microwave on the floor. Other notes: For the price point, I really feel there should be some added value—such as a complimentary breakfast or arcade card—especially since the pool area closes after October. You use your key to gain entrance to the hotel and your room so this is added security. There's plenty of parking on property. The room was nice and clean and the amenities are fairly up to date. House keeping is only for 2 day stay or longer and they usually come in the morning around 10 or so. TV service is through Direct TV and they actually have in room streaming options. Breakfast was probably the best we've had ever in a hotel and the menu changed daily. The location was just not for us, however If you are here for gambling this might be the best option outside of any of the casino hotels. Its Walking distance to Beau Rivage and Hard Rock. We just like more of a beach access. Also one night we needed towels and the front desk sent up security with a set of towels and it only took a couple of minutes and the guy actually walked them over which was great. Check out was also a breeze. Again the location might not be for us, but this hotel is still an option when we're in the area

My wife and I were flown out to enjoy the area and casino. Overall our experience was ok. We ended up having a good time and enjoyed ourselves. The biggest downside was the hotel itself. I was amazed by how outdated the place was. It seems like it's never been renovated at all. The smell of smoke in the rooms were tough to get by. Maybe that's done on purpose because it forced us to spend all of our time outside of the rooms. I'd definitely go back to play but would not stay at the hotel again. Lesson learned, we'll go to any other casino on the coast before we ever consider going back to Harrah's. It was our first and last time there.

First off, major kudos to LAUREN at the front desk. She was the only employee working it, and with a lobby full of guests waiting to check-in... she handled it with such ease and professionalism. The only reason this hotel did not get 5 stars is due to the shape the room was in. The bathroom had markings of stains all over the wall that was some kind of product that was black and dark red in random places like by the trash can or up higher by the light switches. It made the bathroom feel dirty. Secondly, the room itself (1016 - great gulf view) had very old dingy/worn furniture. You could see something smeared all over the headboards when you walked in with the light hitting it as well so again some things just didn't feel really clean about the room itself. Just an overall worn down vibe in the room only, but the other aspects of the hotel had great upkeep though. I would give this hotel another chance in hopes of a room that just had better upkeep to it and as well as how wonderful the staff (aka Lauren) made our stay.

Took a chance for a concert and found the rates to be very reasonable and somewhat cheaper than the casinos for that day. Staff was very nice checking in and the hotel was extremely clean and tastefully decorated. The room was spacious and clean and it was quiet but nothing extravagant or luxurious as we thought it might be, some casinos in the area do have better rooms but I'll know that for our next trip. We wanted something smaller, quieter, more personal than the casinos and this is a good place for that. Will stay there again in the future.

The small air purifier on the ledge by the outdated TV shows that they know the room is musty too. The outdated TV has a failing backlight and it was too dark to comfortably watch. And forget about logging into your streaming services to enjoy your favorite content. The TV can't do that. The bed was the worst part of the experience. The pillows are so soft that they offer no support whatsoever, while the mattress is so overly firm. The combination was a night of tossing and turning trying to get comfortable, but ultimately having a lousy night of sleep. We will not be coming back to this hotel.

He stopped me again, screamed no no no you can not go that way with tumbler after he had already said I could go get my sister. (I wasn't in casino part just going down a hall). My friend a guest had to hold the cup and stay in the lobby for me to go get my handicap sister. I am over a 20 year patron at casino and hotel and have never been treated with such disrespect. We are from Central IL and this is our 2nd stay in 3 years. Love that it is nonsmoking. The food is excellent and the rooms are very nice and clean, a great shower. I cannot tell you how happy it makes me that this place does not smell like that. The perk of the half price buffet when earning points Monday thru Thursday is awesome. The food quality and taste, especially the desserts is top notch. We used to go to Vegas before the pandemic just to enjoy the buffets, but sadly the old Vegas is gone and the Palace has that fun Vegas feel. Palace keep up the great experience and you will see more people like us drive 850 miles to enjoy themselves. Can't wait for our next visit.

It's clean, including crews that walk around whose job is literally just to put stuff back where it goes. There are such fun interactive areas from a grocery store to a vet's office, and even an area just for under 4 years old. There's a large climbing structure in the middle which is fun and fairly safe since the kids can't fall out of it. It does need some cleaning attention though. The areas are carpeted and it doesn't look like they ever been cleaned. I gave it 4 stars because some of the outdoor structures including some tree houses and climbable structures look like they need some serious maintenance and refurbishment. And with all the people inside, it was quite hot. They do have some pipes that deliver random areas of extra air conditioning but they could use some more. There's also a gift shop that has snacks and drinks, but other than water fountains, there's no vending machines inside the main building which would be helpful for parents. They could also use a few more benches for parents to sit while the kids run around or play in each section. Overall, great little place with reasonable pricing that allows kids some time for creativity and getting some energy out. We live out of state and come in for vacation to our beach house in Long Beach and this is always on our list of things to do.

My family showed we all are at the restaurant downstairs, fantastic food and service at 850 my family came to see me about 25 family members had dinner there everyone enjoyed the food and service was fantastic. But i really don't know what was wrong with this person Destiny but every time I walk through the hallway she looked at me with anger. Which really made me feel uncomfortable as a guest. The only thing other than her the only thing was no housekeeping. I change my sheets at home at least once a week and sweating on the coast the last couple of nights felt a little bit unsanitary. Also when we finally got up to our room there were chicken nuggets on the floor and used soap on the bathroom counter which seemed a little bit icky. I won't be staying there again. Between the week room rate, restaurant food most everyday as well as gambling we spent entirely too much money for such a lack of luster vacation stay.

If you're looking for a spot that's not too busy, this is the place at least during this visit for us it was nice. We enjoyed ourselves. It shares an entrance drive with the Applebee's Restaurant which parking lot you have to drive thru to get to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfy. The furnishings are coming up on needing upgrades. The water pressure in the shower was laughable. My pet has a more forceful stream when we take her out! They TRIED to remodel, you can tell, but it was executed POORLY! The laminate flooring is warping and coming unglued from the subfloor. If you dont pick your feet up far enough in some spots it cane become a trip hazard. Overall, it was available, it was a place to stay comfortably and they were Pet Friendly.

The room had a mold/mildew smell, the bathroom had a drain in the floor and every time you flushed the toilet the smell got worse, first morning we walked to waffle house and upon returning to our room water had been coming up out of the drain. He covered the drain with the dirty towels they left in the room and the stink did get better but every time we flushed the toilet the stink came back. The flooring is uneven and parts stick up and he almost fell because of the corners and edges sticking up. This place was the worst part of our vacation I would never recommend this place it needs shut down.

Now they are saying nothing we complained about is true and they wont refund us our money for the night we stayed or the night we didn't stay! Something needs to be done about these conditions of this hotel room because it is not right for humans or even animals to sleep one second there! HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO BOOK HERE! This stay doesn't even deserve one star! I also have videos of the two different types of bugs that were in the room!

The chairs were all peeling, the bathtub was peeling as I took a shower, the signs of water damage made me worry about mold issues, the toilet seat was loose, the shower curtain was coming apart, and the phone didn't work to even call the front desk. Breakfast: The juice machine probably hasn't been cleaned in forever. The apple juice tasted foul and the orange juice tasted rancid. There's another review that said this and I only half believed. There was bad planning to create a horrible floor plan. The bathroom sink isn't in the bathroom. There's no gym. There's not enough parking. There appeared to be cheaply done construction or renovation. Things don't line up and seems overall shoddy. There's poor management with empty spots for vending machines, no microwave in room, no coffee machine in room, no cups in room. However, most of the staff seem friendly. The pool is open and looks clean. I didn't notice a posted hours for the pool and there were people out there into the early morning. That with thinner walls means it's not super quiet and peaceful. Rooms are clean, but there's lingering smells mostly of smoking and not just tobacco. Don't expect a lot and this is okay.
