What can one say? It's Patsy's old home! Originally a log cabin and upgraded by her mother throughout the years. Beautiful pine floors and I love how they have her original items throughout the home. The tour is 30 minutes and the fee for that is $8 dollars. It's in a community and off street parking is limited since it's a populated neighborhood. There is no video to be allowed but you may take pictures. No restroom available but it does have a small gift shop. The tour gives a walk through time and space experience. It's like you think, I'm in Patsy's old home. Her mother had turned the home into a rental for some time but then it became a visitor attraction. Highly recommend! You can't help but sing along as her music is played shortly during the tour. Steep stairs so hang on. No where to sit so wear comfortable shoes.

There are 4 floors, with one being the roof with musical instruments. On a nice day, the rooftop is a great place to be. This was my first time at this venue. I bought general admission tickets online the day before the show through eventbrite. The show ended up being sold out. My online research told me it was under 300 person capacity so I had an idea of what I was getting into as far as general admission and it being packed. When you walk in, you pass by a room in the front and go down a hallway to the bar area. That was packed. Women’s restrooms are beside the bar. Pass through this room to the back where the stage is located. It was pretty packed in that room when we got there. We missed the first opening act but caught the second opening band. The men’s restroom is in the back of this room. I was expecting the stage to be at the back but it was on the side of the room which ended up being good positioning - allowing people to stand directly in front of the stage but also off to the sides and still get a good view. The sound was good - better than I was expecting for such a small place. We weren’t elbow to elbow, but it was pretty tight. We stood stage left and had room to move around a bit. Some men trying to get through to the bathroom shoved their way there unnecessarily but nothing to cause any issues. Someone making announcement before the band came out said if you have too much to drink find a Brightbox staff member and they will get you an Uber. I thought that was nice. People were singing along and hooting and hollering. It was obvious they really liked the band which I think is cool and I am sure the band loves that. Ticket prices were great. We parked on the street a couple blocks away - parking was free on the weekend. We saw a mine to get in as we arrived but we went and had a drink and ate first so by the time we got to the door, there was no line. As I said, we did miss the first opening act but that was fine with us. We had an overall good experience. I’d say, for a small venue, this is a good place to see a show.

This was one of the best lunches I’ve eaten in this entire region. The food here was amazing! The steaks are on a level that rivals any of the finest steakhouse I've been to. They were cooked to absolute perfection! Tender as could be. The most minimal of pressure required upon the knife to carve it up! So tender it just melted in your mouth! I mean, phenomenal! Their selection of bourbon/whiskey was excellent, as was their wine selection. The other picture was of their lava cake dessert. For one, you can never go wrong with lava cake and two, even though they've become a bit ubiquitous at many restaurants, these were, again, next level like everything else here. If I lived in the area, this would be my go to restaurant if I was looking for a top notch meal or looking to impress someone with my knowledge of the local cuisine! Highly recommend eating here!

I’m in town for work and I’ve been trying to keep to a lean diet (Low carbs) and was trying to find something just right.  I stumbled upon The Butcher Station on one of the rating apps and was amused. At first, I had lunch there. In first thought, seeing the reviews and pulling into the shopping center – I had a feeling it was going to be a little done up and a little fancy.  I walked in and it was totally not like how I expected but there was nothing wrong with that. For lunch, I was able to keep it keto – I had a burger and subbed the buns out and had it on a salad and was satisfied with it.  No complaints, good ground beef patty and it was good.  The service was good, not in your face trying or not absent either – just there and honestly, I think that is the best way for it to be.  On top of things, I had a coffee with lunch and didn’t expect much either but it was brought along in a smaller French press serving and was a good coffee too!  They didn’t sell me, I’m not the type to jump up but I felt satiation. It was enough to curiously bring me to dinner as my coworker had decided to do the taco place (Which from appearance, looked good) but as I said above, I’m on a strict diet.  Again, it isn’t much to walk into but I was sat promptly – the menu was simple but I was able to enjoy dinner and I felt The Butcher Station out on this.  I ordered the half dozen oysters, two different types – they were just spot on and you could easily tell they were quality sourced.  I had the Denver steak that was one of the specials. The seasoning was just right on, I went with the recommended medium rare and while I’m more of a filet fan – I enjoyed it.  Everything was cooked just right with the temperature staying put just about until I finished.  The sides were enjoyable although I wish I could have tried some of ones that were more carb friendly as the mashed potatoes looked delicious and like they put some soul into them.

We were walking down Old town Winchester and were so hungry. We chanced upon this brewery right before we had another destination in mind. So glad we stopped here first. The pizzas are something to salivate over. at he ingredients are fresh and my favorite are the fresh cheese. The mozzarella are balled all over every pizza and it melted perfectly over the pizza. My favorite dish was the Greek Pizza. Fresh basil and tomatoes, with a very robust pizza sauce. I like my crust a little burnt and I had requested it and they didn’t disappoint! If you’re wanting an appetizer, it is a must you get the crab dip. They come with bread, toasted just right for a dipper into the crab. They have an assortment of beer, i mostly drink dark-stout beer. Their stout was a little heavy for me, so I didn’t need a refill. It paired perfectly with our meal. We went in the right time before dinner rush so we had a place to sit and enjoy our meal before the rush of beer drinkers came in. Pretty cool place, the outside doesn’t not look like it would be a brewery so we passed it the first time walking by. But we were so glad we came back and enjoyed it.

I used the MSV entrance this time but there are a few entrances for this park. Plenty of parking even on opening day. Dogs are allowed on a leash and I saw plenty of dog waste stations. You get to see some art, sculptures, rocks and such. The silo skyline mobile is very nice. I can definitely recommend it for the whole family, the kids loved running up and down the picnic mounds. This is a great addition to the city and I will definitely return to do some more exploring.

I went 2 weekends in a row and it's definitely worth going multiple times bc sometimes different vendors or performers will be there. This year, there seemed to be more vendors the second weekend. Would have liked the venue more if there was plumbing based restrooms, but there were portajohns. $25 to get through the gate seems fair considering the experience is such fun. There are free shows all around the campus so I think it's a deal. Parking is a giant grass lot and it was tame and well managed.
