I was accustomed to Ocean City MDs Boardwalk, so starting in the north, I was a bit underwhelmed by Point Pleasant Beach's Boardwalk, but at the southern end, this Boardwalk is awesome and incredible. So much here. Ferris wheel, sky lift, eateries, games, so exciting. It's a happening place. I can't believe the difference between the two. Come here. I just happened to be here for the Columbus Day holiday street event. Wow. Many vendors. Many people. There is just so much of a different feel here, compared to the family stranglehood at the one to north. Relaxing here. Highly recommended

Walking here takes us back to the olden days. Lot of shops for kids and entertainment. Lot of restaurants, food and pizza 🍕 places. Boardwalk is free and free parking is available at a little distance however paid street parking ($3 per hour April to Oct) and full day parking at various places for $20 and $25 are available. We hit the boardwalk at Wildwood New Jersey and then traveled to Seaside Heights and hit the boardwalk there. This is the first time either of us have been there. Not sure why lol since it really isnt that far away from us. I guess since we both grew up going to Ocean City every year, we both felt continuing the family tradition was the right thing to do lol. The Boardwalk at Seaside Heights was very nice. The atmosphere, the food, the shops, the rides and even the little bit of Hollywood were all cool to see and be part of. Not everyone watched the show Jersey Shore but we all know it. The show was filmed at Seaside Heights. The Shore Store they worked at is still there. Its still open and still as awesome as ever. The store sells alot of stuff with the Jersey Shore cast on it. Even if you never watched the show before and maybe never even heard of it I can guarantee, you will recognize one of the cast members faces. One really cool thing is the store offers a small admission to tour the house. I believe it was $10 a person. I have to say I thought it was worth it. Probably worth more or less to you depending on your own personal "fan of the show" status. You can sit at the table, sit on the beds, stand in the kitchen or even hold the famous duck phone. It was really fascinating to literally be present on the film set of that show. I can only imagine the craziness of Seaside Height's boardwalk while at the peak of the shows stardom. It was probably filled with hundreds and hundreds of fans just trying to meet, greet or fornicate their way into the show. It was probably pure madness. Yes, I know the Jersey Shore house is probably its own tourist attraction and has its own review page but you cant have the Jersey Shore without Seaside Heights. Im rating Seaside Heights Boardwalk a 5 out 5. Its a nice, clean, entertaining place to visit and the little bit of Hollywood there is a thrilling piece of movie stardom to be so close to.

Went on Juneteenth, Food is expensive but what do you expect. One water bottle is allowed in. They do allow you to exit and reenter the park as well in the same day. Locker rental is $20 (small) for the whole day. Lots of things to do and places to play. I spent the whole day there and didn't get to do everything just because of how much there was to do. There was barely/if any wait times for entry to the waterpark and for any slides. All the staff I spoke to were nice and understanding. Design wise the place looked pretty cool. Loved the big ship and wall design with the wave pool. It was easy to get around if able. Those in wheelchairs will have a harder time. It is (on paper) wheelchair accessible but there are stairs/steps for certain areas that limit access to the full amenities. From what I saw there were only 2 single stall accessible bathrooms. Lots of chairs available to sit in. There were a couple of things that could be improved such as more shade in general but especially on the walk areas definitely burned up my feet. The lazy river had an issue that became more apparent towards the end of the day where all the empty tubes would just bunch up in one area causing it to turn from a lazy river into a stubborn traffic jam. Best fix for the Lazy river could be by having the tubes available to grab outside of it vs having to wait for someone/an empty one to come around. That'd fix both the waiting and the jam issues. There were signs requesting those to shower off however before swimming however I was never able to locate the showers. There are also changing rooms but they are hard to find, unlabeled, and dimly lit. There doesn't seem to be a parking lot specific for the park although parking is abundant in the town so not too big of a deal.

We ordered a half cheese, and half mushroom pizza. When it arrived it reminded me of the bad pizza we were served at my elementary school. Tonight we went to eat there for our first time and both my wife and I ordered only off the specials menu. Their Lobster Bisque is to die for. There is tons of lobster meat and very tasty (no salt or pepper needed at all). My wife got the Halibut special with fresh asparagus and risotto, and it was delicious. I got the hanger steak with broccolini and garlic mashed potatoes with garlic herb butter. Everything was flavorful, although the steak was a little undercooked, which is my own fault for not sending it back to cook a little more. Service was great, and our waitress was very friendly, never leaving us waiting for anything at any point. They had live music, which was an added bonus. The scooters topped out at around 40 mph. They also have a nice compartment area under your seat. We checked out West Point Island while we were riding because the owners recommended that. And he didn’t hold the sky car as we got off like they normally should do, so when my family member got off the sky car the bar caught her elbow and it hurt her. If the guy had lifted it in the first place and held the sky car for a second this would’ve been avoided. What a mess! The guy seemed to want us to do his job for him as we’re lifting the bar but he’s supposed to do that. We love going on the sky cars every year but this year just disappoints by a LOT! Do better and hirer people that actually know what they’re doing and not drinking on the job. I do understand there is rules that might not allow tiny stuffed animals but not even a tiny one? That’s a little much. 3rd incident that happened today: 7/17/24 (the other incidents were on other days.) we were walking from the beach all the way at the end of the board walk and were planning on getting onto the sky cars, the 2 guys were looking like they were trying to hide behind that pole thing and didn’t see them until I walked a bit farther back and then I saw them, my family member yelled to them before I could, the guy also had it chained off looking like it was closed and you couldn’t use the sky cars at 5PM but when we yelled he came out from where he looked like he was hiding and said it’s open. It was a little sketch that it was chained off and he looked like he was trying to hide but not fully sure if he was trying to hide or not. It also would be a little more fun knowing the people operating the sky cars actually know how to do there job. Now a 4th incident 7/18/24, we took the sky cars for a full round trip on the 18th little did we know we would be in for a bumpy ride, one of the pillars across from the smoke shop on the boardwalk was swaying back and fourth and we were going down toward the Ferris wheel at the time, the mother with her kid on the other side were bouncing up and down and didn’t even know what was happening, my genuine question is are they even checking the sky cars and pillars before they start letting people in the sky cars? It seems not because we were worried when it was swaying like that. Definitely not going on them again this year for sure because it looks very unstable and the cables running the sky cars were even shaking heavily. When we went back the other way coming from the Ferris wheel the same thing happened and it was shaking and swaying a bit. This needs to be checked in everyday and make sure it’s running properly. There was no wind at the time and we took it to view the sunset and go for a ride but it’s wasn’t the most pleasant experience. What a shame, check the rides PLEASE!
