Our watching turned into more of a hangout when we spotted a people watching humpback that wanted to spend some time with us. This was apparently VERY RARE because humpbacks are not social whales, so we all collectively took it in while it was happening. I got one quick video but just enjoyed being in the moment. The star of the show by far was the chicken torchon...with eight thick slices, more then enough for our four top sauced with roasted chicken jus poured table side. Fresh sauce vert sprinkled atop with a bed of soubise. The chicken was super juicy and tender rolled up with a nice and thin crispy skin. A definite must order! Will definitely make a plan to stop by again the next time I'm in town.

The room sleeps 4 but because I have a child that is under 2 that sleep in bed with me, we technically had 5 people. So he sighted too many dogs and people in the room. We love their wines (Spanish varietals), love their club (amazing benefits and low bottle commitment), and appreciate their continued curbside service during the pandemic. Best wine club in Monterey - Hands down. We're currently members at two other amazing places with a bunch we previously tried out and didn't continue membership.
