This was Memorial Day weekend so the town was slammed and yet the staff treated us attentively and with warmth. The meal exceeded expectations from the carrot soup to dessert of olive cake! The kids got the burger special which was the Iberia ham and steak blended patty with onion rings. There was a funky sauce that I felt overtook the burger flavors. There were mixed reviews with the table but majority were not into it. Another got the mussels. Again the funky sauce took away from the mussels in my opinion but others liked the sauce and not the mussels. The service during the meal was just okay. Majority of the table didn't have waters for over 20-30 minutes which for a high end restaurant is unacceptable. We had to ask to get more water. She came and checked on us two bites into it but then felt we never needed checked on again until the end. Unfortunately most of us will not want to go back as we felt was not worth it. But there were a couple that liked it and will be back.

We ate in their restaurant, Cello, both nights. Portions were decent & food was delicious, especially the carbonara. I enjoyed their Belgium waffle for breakfast. I used their gym our last morning there. They did have a washer & dryer but I didn’t get to use it. They also had wine tasting during the day but we didn’t get to try it. We ended up driving to Daou to do a wine tasting which wasn’t too far at all. Bedroom was very roomy, along with the shower. Double vanity. Provided a nice robe & slippers. Bed was very comfortable. Where to start?! Quirky, unique and comfortable converted container with a terrasse overlooking the vineyard. This allowed visitors coming to see us to bring us some fantastic wine that we just couldn't find in Europe. We tried a LOT of French & Italian wines, but were routinely disappointed; no matter the price, most tasted like 'table wine' to us....they just couldn't compare to the robust/flavorful profiles that we've come to love from Brochelle. She started with giving our puppy some treats, which was so sweet! We opted for the tasting (5 wines) and purchased the cheese pairings as well.
