While going up the blue hole mountain we saw far to make vendors looking to sell something which ruins the scenery and fun of the hike. Even the photo guy, who came out of nowhere, asked for $120 for the photos And then asked for a tip. When I asked if the $120 isn't for him, he said no that's for his boss tip is different. The bamboo Rafting isn't long but it's relaxing. I fell asleep part way which is what I wanted as I was tired and needed to chill. Halfway, we stopped on an island where you can get a massage of some sort but then the side vendors popped up AGAIN asking for purchase. I am sorry to say this but the owner of these areas need to limit or straight up remove some of them. You can only buy so many gifts before you eventually stop caring. With the constant asking for tip you realize you can't plan accordingly, at least financially, properly for these excursion because you never know who's going to ask for a handout.

Went here for a church trip with some friends on a very busy Saturday, as there were numerous trip buses in the parking lot. There was a bit of a wait to get in, but we eventually got our armbands and got ourselves settled. Even though the venue had a lot of people, there was still enough room to spread out and find an open spot in the water for yourself. My group rented a cabana for the day for about JMD$5200 (USD$32) so that we were able to have a comfy spot to rest our heads and bags; the attendant cleaned it up for us before use, but took ages to give us our receipt, so there was a bit of a mix-up at one point, but that was quickly settled. There were loads of activities to do as there were persons advertising various water adventures you could take part in, like taking photos on a glass boat or water tubing for the adrenaline junkies ☺️ If you wish to take part in these activities, ensure you have extra cash on hand, as they don't take cards to my knowledge. Food is easily accessible once you have on your armband, as you can go off property to purchase food such as KFC, Burger King etc or from any of the local cookshops. The changing rooms as expected were a bit mucky as it's where everyone changed, so it had a slight smell of pee and wet sand on the floor. Just try and balance on your shoes to ensure that doesn't catch your good clothes. There are showers available on both the beach and near the changing rooms. I did not check the bathroom facilities as I used the one over at KFC. It's a fun day and a relaxing day to be had by all, especially if you're there with good friends.

They have a beautiful sweet Labrador named Shadow that spends all day on the property and knows basic commands and loves to swim and fetch. Fun fact: Shadow is their 5th generation pet! You can grab her leash and hang out with her for as long as you like. She’s super sweet. I met one of the owners and he was very approachable and was very attentive of your needs. Gondolas is the Italian restaurant and most items were good except the octopus. Entertainment was okay, but it could have been better. The wave rider was malfunctioning throughout the days we stayed. Other than that, the games 🎮 room was GREAT. They have from a giant Pac-Man to pool, to basketball 🏀 games, to table tennis, even Xbox and Playstation are available. They also have a nightclub that was AWESOME, the right amount of vibes.. The STAFF was EXCELLENT they deserve every bit and more of their pay. They were attentive and efficient. What began as a vacation planned 2 years in advance for a destination wedding became a dire situation when we found out Hurricane Melissa was approaching landfall. So many people were scrambling to get the next flight out to get home to family and loved ones. Unfortunately, Jamaica (God bless Her) decided to close all airports; therefore, we were all stuck there to ride out the storm. Sandals' general manager, Carol Bourke, communicated with us daily regarding the plan for sheltering in place and assured us that we were safe. While waiting for the airports to reopen and receiving several flight cancellations, Sandals treated its guests like Kings and Queens, comping our extended nights along with providing full meals and unlimited drinks of our choice. We heard so many horror stories in regards to what other resorts were doing and how they treated their guests; charging them for the extra nights and feeding them little to nothing. We couldn't believe it and were so thankful we chose to stay at Sandals. After several flight cancelations, some of our party were able to catch the charter plane that Sandals/Beaches Resorts opted to pay for in order to get their guests to the U.S.A. From that point, we were responsible for getting a flight home. I won't say the charter flight was without flaws or perfect, but I am so thankful we and the entire wedding guest list, bride and groom, made it home safe. It was our first time visiting Jamaica and staying at any Sandals Resorts. And with the stellar service we received, let's just say we are Sandals fans for life!!!!!!! We are booking our next trip to Barbados soon.

The most beautiful and well maintained resort. We felt as though we were the only people there. We went in April, the crystal clear water was warm and not a single bug bite to speak of. We went snorkeling right from the resort and the reef is very much alive and vast. This is not the place to go if you need entertainment and nightlife but for this trip we just wanted to sit on a beach, and we did. The only con is the food situation. I was looking for a place with a kitchen traveling with young ones and the house did. The resort offer to shop and fill the fridge so we opted for that. It did not go well. For our 5 day trip, they provided a pack of turkey and ham for sandwiches but forgot bread. Mac and cheese boxes but no milk or butter per the instructions on the box. and 1, single serving, frozen pizza. They have ONE restaurant ( the other was closed the whole time) and the menu remained the same every breakfast, lunch and dinner. The service was the slowest. The continental breakfast took a hour to be served, dinner even longer. It became so difficult to enjoy with the kids that we started tag teaming who had to wait at the table. We finally got to the grocery store ourselves and it wasn't as bare as I expected , wish we went earlier. So long story short, plan a trip to the grocery store. But all else said still 5 stars in my mind because it really is the most beautiful, serene getaway. Like no filter needed ever, make all your followers jealous , perfect.

My family has never done a villa in a foreign country and never done one that was staffed so we didn’t know what to expect. I’m a physician that works directly with Covid patients and my wife is a teacher so both of us needed some pampering. We also changed from a trip to the mountains to Nicaragua so we knew our options may be limited. Traveling for spring is tough because you to go far south to get guaranteed warm weather. Jamaica made sense and after I got over the price of Scotch on the Rocks we were all in, hoping to avoid the crowds, buffets, fighting over pool chairs, and other inconveniences of larger hotels. We knew it would be a lot of time with the kids and fewer distractions but were up for the challenge. From the moment we arrived to the smiles and beauty of the house we knew it was paradise. The high quality of the furniture, snorkeling gear, kayaks, on site gym, on site pickle ball court and all The extras were above and beyond most 5 star hotels. Best of all was the staff and they way to tended to our needs. The kids alway had daiquiris, meals were better than any restaurant, and the board game chest was well stocked!!!!
