Wat een geweldig leuk, gratis, interactief museum! We kwamen hier alleen voor een korte stop tijdens onze lange rit richting Cheyenne, maar bleven hier toch 2,5 uur. We hadden zo nóg langer kunnen blijven. Toen wij er waren (eind juli) speelde er iemand ook op gitaar wat veel sfeer gaf!

This place is fantastic! There are people outside with displays who answered many questions about animal furs and trade along the trails. Inside was a wonderful museum covering many aspects of the various trails and the people who traveled them. I would recommend anyone passing through to stop and check out this really neat piece of Army history and the town's history. It was super windy when we went, but it was well worth every bit of it. Currently, they have a display of guns from the 1800s and also have Indian artifacts. Very neat history as well. It is winterized, but I was still able to get amazing pictures through the windows.

Very cool place. The guy working was so nice. It was quiet, so we could wander. Kiddo I came in with wanted to go explore the fort, so we spent about 90 minutes out there without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Overall, a great learning opportunity and a neat place to check out and see a bit more visually how folks lived in some of these forts.

The Tate Museum was quite amazing. No charge to enter. It had a little bit of everything. Including fossils, gemstones, extensive history into how fossils of Wyoming animals were discovered and the actual fossils of these animals. The history of Dee the wooly mammoth was quite amusing. They also had history and fossils of dinosaurs.
Highly recommend for any age. Took about an hour to hour and a half to look and read everything.

JP, Russell, and everyone else have done an incredible job of putting together artistic, informative, and thought-provoking exhibits that even small children will appreciate and learn from. There's a great new video introducing visitors to the history of the museum, a gift shop with all sorts of fantastic books, toys, and other items, and if you really want the full experience, you should ask about the dinosaur digs that are open to the public! I had so much fun last weekend which was my first time coming here!! It's a lot steeper than Snowy Range, which is the only other place I've been skiing. But some nice trails at different levels. My favorite part was the staff!! They were so friendly and nice; helped us a lot! The staff in the lodge were awesome as were the ski patrol staff members. When my younger brother broke his arm on the slopes, they took such good care of him. I want to go back for night skiing as soon as possible!!!!!

A very new and nice ski lodge on a smaller mountain. Had a great time snowboarding here. There's a carpet for beginners and one long ski lift that takes you to multiple intermediate slopes. Park Avenue is the easier but longer slope, while Boomerang is the most popular slope for intermediate skiers/snowboarders. Super friendly and helpful people and lift operators. We love it here!

I skied Hogadon Basin on Feb 16th. What a pleasant surprise. One of three ski resorts in the U.S. where you park and then ski down to the lifts. The parking lot and lodge are an easy drive up the mountain from Casper, Wyoming. The lodge and facilities modern, well lighted and windowed. I think it's one of the nicest lodges I've ever been in. They have a nice bar, and Kaycee the bartender was very nice and gracious! Actually all the staff there are wonderful, and the place is not crowded. A great place for beginning skiers with a sheltered plexiglass tube magic carpet. There is some challenging terrain if you are looking for it. Great job city of Casper in this development!

The sledding was amazing! Manager was very hospitable, and even complimented us on our sledding skills after hearing about us through ski patrol. Would highly recommend for all levels of sledders, from beginners all the way to professional disk sled shredders. Will definitely be returning for my next sledding outing.

Simply beautiful! I visited 3 times in one week. The trails are perfect for a hike. They have sections for beginner and moderate experience levels. The scenery and views are simply amazing! The hike from the lower parking area out and back was just under 2 miles. I stumbled upon the Nic while my family and I were in town for the eclipse. The kid-friendly eclipse stations were adorable! My three year old niece was thrilled. We did one summer camp here and my son begged for more- we ended up doing all 3 camps they had available. They were expensive, but I don't feel overcharged, it was so worth it! The camps were so versatile too. This little museum has a nice collection of animals and they are preserved way better than the ones I saw at the Harvard Natural History Museum. I liked the taxidermy display and the animals in the basement. I’ve never seen a sage grouse and it was fun to see that and to learn about native Wyoming birds. I LOVE dioramas and they have a huge, fantastic one in the basement. It’s better than the WY one at the natural history museum in New York.

The Werner Wildlife Museum is a diamond in the rough. They have a ton of beautifully selection of mounted animals. Young children seem to have a great time. There's a nice park area behind the building with picnic tables and plenty of shade in the summer time. The Werner Wildlife Museum is a definite must visit in Casper. My only critique is that the museum should be bigger and better funded. Thanks for the great experience.

Tonights local presentation of "Steel Magnolias" was wonderful. It inspired laughter and tears and made me feel as though I was part of the show. The actors performed each scene as if their rolls were truly their own lives.
The transitions between acts were very smooth.
The lobby and theater were very clean and well kept, as well as the restrooms.
The seating was a bit uncomfortable for the length of the play, but I believe they are just waiting for new ones to arrive.

Nice and cool at the top of the mountain. This was a very nice summer hike with barely anyone on the trails. Definitely not as scenic as the Bridle Trail Split Rock Loop but it was a hike worth doing. We did the Eadsville Loop that was roughly 4.2 miles and took about an hour and a half. I'd say overall it is a pretty easy hike.

I was a student in the Department of Theater and Dance from 2006-2008. The education I received at the theater is second to none, especially for the area. Between patrons and grants, the department had enough funding to provide EVERY student with a full ride scholarship which is unheard of. The facilities are state of the art. The faculty, including the legendary Tom Empey, provided us with techniques and skills you expect from classes at world class universities. The choices of shows were diverse, offering something for everybody. I often think of my time here, and think back on it fondly. If you're thinking of joining this department you'll be making a choice that changes your life for the better.
