The food is very good we came here twice on our trip. They have tableside salsa and everything we ordered came out fast and was so delicious. I had the chile relleno and the beef molcajete. My parents had been here 2 times before on another trip making their total visits 4. Unfortunately every single time they have eaten here the bill is wrong. They overcharge on alcohol every time. They either put premium alcohol or add extra beers. It's unfortunate because the food is amazing and it makes you feel like they are just trying to rip off the tourists.

It took 15 minutes and still no one came to offer me a menu. I had to call for a waiters attention. It took around another 5 minutes for the waiter to come out. I love the slow life out here and it’s why I travel to these destinations but when you see your waiter giving everyone else great and quick service, cmon. My waiter was very attentive to other patrons who arrived after me and I saw how he continued to check in with them. The other patrons were served before me. When the food finally came out it was cold and tasted bland. Didn’t even hit me with the buen provecho like he did others. Very disappointed with the service I received here and I never post reviews but I definitely had to. I was respectful and I still left a tip cause I’m not that type of person.

Phenomenal establishment. Well prepared consistent dishes. Fresh ingredients. The friendliness of the waiters were extremely inviting, helpful, attentive, fun and was a pleasure the 4 times my friend snd I had eaten there. The variety of Mezcal- in particular passion fruit mezcal was top notch ! Still craving it after returning home from a short vacation there.
This was by far our favorite place to eat, drink , play and laugh. Stuffed poblano with shrimp, also stuffed avocado were our always go too for lunch happy hour.

This restaurant is a must-visit! The seafood was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. My husband’s favorite was the octopus! Mine the fresh ceviche and catch of the day. The beachside location made for breathtaking views, especially at sunset. The cocktails are delicious. Our favorite were the Medero pina colada and margarita. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made excellent recommendations. A perfect spot for a relaxing and delicious meal. Highly recommend! We will be back!

We first experienced Madera’s when we were just walking along the beach and saw they had open chairs and a great happy hour margarita deal. The margaritas are well proportioned and great tasting! We enjoyed it so much that we decided to come for their second happy hour time from 5 to 6 to watch the sunset since it’s on the beach and ended up having dinner as well. The dinner was amazing not only because of the food but our waiter Gordy Gordy and “the captain” made it such a fun experience. I got the catch of the day and my husband got the stuffed chile relleno and both were spectacular. If you are ever in the area and looking for a romantic dinner or a fun, happy hour midday and swimming in the beach you have to come here!

The guacamole and salsas were great. The tomatillo one was so good we got a little more. We had a margarita. It was nice and refreshing after swimming. We ordered the mahi with garlic and it was so good. A nice filet with crunchy fried garlic on top. So good! We also had a hankering for pasta and had the bolognese. It was very boring and the pasta was not cooked fresh. It has marks on some like they reheated it in a pan. The flavor wasn’t bad. Thankfully they give you a nice cup of cheese to go on top and that helped a lot. Service was amazing and the view was breathtaking.

I had the steak which was not great but the chicken fajitas were really good and the drinks were great especially at happy hour which is buy 1 get 1 free (5-7)! We came in mid afternoon to escape the heat, looking for a quick cocktail and maybe a small bite. Lucky for us.
First, what a beautiful room. Great view, fantastic ocean breeze. We found a couple unique things on the menu to order. The first was Octopus Carpaccio, a real showstopper. I have never had octopus prepared this way before. Legs are bundled in a sausage form with gelatin, then thinly sliced, covered with herbs and olive oil. Wow.

Discovered this place walking along the beachfront promenade and so glad we did. The food was first class, the service was excellent and the view was delightful.

Awesome place and got pretty busy almost a full house towards sunset when we were there an hour earlier there was like 2 tables. But the setting feels like eating in the jungle or swamp. I'm glad many iguanas showed up for me and a few different bird species as well. There were turtles swimming by and a medium size crocodile swam by as well although when I pass by mid day there was a huge crocodile hanging out by the entrance of the restaurant. Love the vibe here and a few good choices on the menu. The service was good but today there credit card machine didn't work but luckily I have cash. On the other side of the back of the restaurant is also an RV park I'm not sure if you can rent the lot with the place but there were many travelers and it's nice if you have an RV walk straight into the restaurant to eat and off to the beach you go.

Our favorite little spot on Madera beach to spend a day. You can take a good book, take a dip in the ocean or just sit and relax with the views. The staff is incredibly nice, we have had the pleasure of having Leslie as our server many times this season. She is very attentive, willing to take time to speak with you and has an infectious smile.
The food never disappoints, from the sachimi to the fillets and everything in between.
Highly recommend this restaurant, however it closes it's kitchen at 5:30 pm so go early and enjoy a great day.
