Das Frühstücksbuffet ist absolut einzigartig, wenn man früh geht und noch etwas die Ruhe geniessen kann ist es absolut traumhaft. Trotzdem würden wir nicht wieder kommen, weil das Zimmer nicht in Ordnung war und eine anschliessende "Wiedergutmachung" gabs nicht. I give this hotel 5 stars for room, service, location and food. The hotel shows signs of having been repainted recently, and all the public areas were clean, tidy and completely intact (no chips, scars or marks). The room was great and was cleaned and had towels replaced every day. The room had a small balcony with a clothes rack. The bathroom was a little on the small side, but perfectly acceptable and useable. The only negative that comes to mind is that the hotel is definitely not on one level, and so not a destination for anyone that has trouble with stairs. The staff were without exception very friendly and very helpful, to point where having arrived at around 11pm, they has set aside a plate of salad and cold meats. The location is excellent; being a 10 to 15 minute amble down to the harbour / busy area. The first part of the walk is up a fairly shallow hill. Lots of traffic to deal with, but all vehicles seem to give way to pedestrians. The local beach is lovely. There are lots and lots of restaurants, but we could only find 10 or so bars in the area, I do however recommend the Karaoke in the Irish bar. The dining area at the hotel is self-service. The hot food is served in heated trays, and the chilled from large chilled serving fridges. It's not a-la-carte restaurant quality food, but I left the dining area every day, and regardless of breakfast, lunch or dinner, having had a tasty and very satisfying meal. There was hot and more continental breakfasts, hot and cold lunch and dinner. Some delicious Greek salads and some tasty desserts. We’ve stayed here for a week. It’s right by 2 beaches, one sand and one stone. There’s multiple pools too. The views are absolutely stunning. The staff here are great. There is a slight hill up to the hotel but we didn’t find this a problem. The only slight room for improvement would be the food. It was nice but sometimes the salad was dry and the meals didn’t change much over the week. The restaurant staff were lovely though, hard-working, and they catered really well for us with our toddler. Whilst there’s lots of people here, we’ve found where our room is so peaceful.

Photos shown probably by owners are totally false, none of the rooms look like that. You walk into the lobby/reception area and think this looks nice that's where it ends. The 1st red flag was the key, actual key to get into your room, which modern hotels have keys anymore. The hotel is dated. The 1st room we were shown to was too small, dark and dingy, disgusting bathroom. The next room we were shown was marginally better but this is not a 4 star hotel, 2-3 at best. The bathroom was too small, was dirty and smelly. What they don't show you in the pictures is the sign on the toilet telling you not to put toilet tissue down the toilet but in the bin next to it absolutely disgusting. Old fashioned hair dryer like something from the 50's totally useless. The furniture was naff and dated. Not enough space to put our clothes for a 10 day stay. No constant hot running water so could only take a shower certain times of the day. No drinking water on offer not even on arrival had to constantly buy our own. The food was boring, bland and cold most of the time. The evening entertainment was none existing, some old guy usually singing terribly on a electric organ. Location was terrible miles from best bits of Agios Nicolas and a constant hike up a steep slope to get to the hotel. Probably one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. The only good thing about this hotel was the view. It's a very strange horrible hotel. Avoid at all costs.

The people of this hotel take pride in their jobs and in their island and are so happy to have you there. The hotel checked us in 4 hours early and upgraded our bungalow to a room to one which included a steam room and jacuzzi. If one is looking for the most modern of hotels this is not it. There were some features of the room that were a little dated, CD player and safe, and could have done with a few USB charging ports, but these details are relatively minor for a leisure traveller. The gym is clearly an old dance studio with decent equipment and lovely staff (fine for a down week) but could do with updating and new equipment that is more appropriate (e.g. pull up bars and a bench) and more of a multi gym. The setting is beautiful along the beach with different pools and stretches of beach to explore. They assign you your loungers to prevent travellers from stealing them first thing in the morning. The food was of an extremely high standard throughout, and the town is only a short walk away (15 mins) if one wants local cuisine. The breakfast is varied and consistently good. Do get up earlier for tables with a perfect view in the shade (they are in demand!). The staff make your stay pretty effortless, and is customary for a five star hotel but it was seamless, friendly and gentle throughout. We want to pay a special thanks to Alexandra the gym instructor who ran excellent classes. There are minor details that could do with refinement to make it ideal for a gym bunny determined to do work on holiday, but if you just want to relax and enjoy the view and food and have a great view at a reasonable price you will get great value here. After a windy day, the entire spa building—including the spa itself—filled with a strong sewer smell. It was awful at night, and the stench made it nearly impossible to sleep. I complained three times, but nothing was done during my stay. Days after I left, the manager emailed to say they couldn’t detect any smell, which only added to the frustration. To make matters worse, the bathroom’s steam shower wouldn’t stay closed due to a broken seal. I asked for it to be repaired, and the maintenance team not only failed to fix it but somehow made it worse, leaving dirty footprints all over the bathroom floor. We stayed in this hotel during the shoulder season when it was 5 days from closing down for the season. They upgraded us from a 1 bedroom suite to a 2 bedroom suite. It was incredible. I was blown away with the fantastic private pool, the balcony view and the amazing room. They also had air condition that worked really well. Keep in mind, I was there end of October so the AC was not really needed. I found the staff extremely helpful. The breakfast was good. Not anything super amazing, but plentiful and full of variety. Plus I could make my own tea which made me happy. The bottle of wine they gave us was delicious. Their olives were divine. The restaurant was okay for some food and really good for some dishes. The Yacht club food was absolutely fabulous for me. Their beach was lovely and since there was no one there in the morning until 10:30 AM, I felt like I was on a private beach. They have a dive shop and the water is perfectly clear. I really enjoyed my time here and I have to remind people the timing. End of October is wonderful of you can handle the cold.

Hatten diesmal eine "the collection one bedroom Suite sea view". Das Zimmer war einfach top, 2 Schlafzimmer, 2 Badezimmer, großer Balkon mit wunderbarem Meerblick. Die "collection" Zimmer liegen bei Blick auf Meer linksseitig und sind die zuletzt gebauten Gebäude und wirklich auf höchstem Niveau. Die "all inklusive" Buchung ist sicherlich sehr empfehlenswert. Das Essen in den 4 Themenrestaurants ist immer von sehr guter Qualität (sowohl mittags wie abends 3 Gänge a la carte) dazu alle Getränke den ganzen Tag über frei (inklusive der hochwertigen Cocktails in der Bar). Wer Halbpension bucht muss sich halt bewusst sein, dass dies nur das Buffetresraurant (aus meiner Sicht durchschnittlich) morgens und abends beinhaltet und alles übrige extra kostet. Die Bucht ist ein Traum, Liegen gab es jeden Tag ohne Probleme, man sollte aber sicher nicht erst um 13.00h kommen. Der Gym Bereich ist hochwertig ausgestattet in- und outdoor. Über zuviel Kinderlärm kann ich nicht berichten am Strand spielen die kleinen Kids im normalen Rahmen (ist ja auch kein adults only hotel). Das Personal war immer sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir waren erneut komplett zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Viel edler, man sitzt dort viel schöner, das Essen ist ok, aber nicht günstig. Aber auch hier keine richtig warmen Speisen. Für uns kristallisierte sich dieses Hotel als 2 Klassen Gesellschaft. Es macht hier nur Sinn als all inclusive Gast. Das lag aber weit über unserem Budget. Man sieht sehr häufig zum Abendessen Männer mit Sakkos oder sogar Anzug und Frauen im Abendkleid und Stilettos. Das sollte man wissen. Sehr, sehr viele kleine Kinder. Kommt aber dadurch, dass alle Kinder unter 12 kostenfrei sind. Wir kamen mit Mietauto von der anderen Seite der Insel angereist. Man hat unseren Schlüssel vom Auto und die Koffer entgegen genommen. Mit dem Hinweis, dass unser Auto geparkt wird. Schlüssel lag später auf unserem Zimmer mit einem Schlüsselanhänger vom Hotel mit Zimmernummer darauf. Als wir am nächsten Tag damit fahren wollten, wusste keiner wo unser Auto geparkt war. Es sollte auf dem Schlüsselanhänger stehen. Stand es aber nicht. Es hiess: die nächste Parkzone von unserem Zimmer. Wir sind dann alle Parkplätze abgelaufen. Es gibt 5 verschiedene Parkzone/ -plätze. Das Auto stand dann doch unten am Eingang des Hotels. Dann hat es einem Morgen kurz ganz doll geregnet und die Kissen von den Balkonmöbeln waren total nass und voll gesogen mit Wasser. Wir haben 3 Tage lang die Kissen zum Trocknen an die Brüstung gelegt bis ein paar davon trocken waren. Die 2-malige Bitte, dass man zumindest die Sitzkissen der Stühle austauscht, ist keiner nachgekommen, somit konnten wir den Balkon nicht wirklich nutzen. (Siehe Fotos) Sehr schade. Nach dem starken Regen kamen wir auch nicht aus unserem Zimmer raus ohne nasse Füße zu bekommen. Mein Mann hat dann erstmal den Abfluss gesäubert, damit das Wasser ablaufen kann. siehe auch Fotos. Auch im Schrägaufzug tropfte es von der Decke und der Holzboden war nass. (Siehe Fotos) Und vor unserem Zimmereingang hat man immer irgendwelche Dreckwäsche Säcke oder ähnliches abgelegt. Kein schöner Anblick. Es war nicht nur einmal, sondern immer der Fall. (siehe Fotos) Fazit für uns: Preis-/ Leistung stimmt hier nicht. Der Strand am Hotel ist ein Kiesstrand mit Liegen, die jedoch zum Restaurant daneben gehören. The hotel was beautiful in every way. Spotlessly clean in every area. The breakfast was superb with an incredible array of different foods, hot and cold, absolutely brilliant. The bedding changed daily! crisp white sheets, soft white towels in the bathroom, I cannot write highly enough for this beautiful gem of a hotel. 2 freshwater pools and plenty of beds around each one. Also the lovely little beach with umbrellas is literally a 5 minute walk across the road (not a busy road either) Agias Nicholas town is great too with plenty of fabulous eating places, all good. 15 to 20 minutes walk from the hotel or just a few euros in a taxi. The receptionist phoned a taxi each time and it arrived within a few minutes, excellent service. Fabulous and thank you, we will definitely be coming again next year.

Views over Mirabello Bay and Spinalonga island are absolutely stunning from Elounda Heights’ elevated location. A highlight of the day is the evening meal special, cooked by Vangelis, a superb chef. He has an incredible talent for drawing the ultimate flavour from any meat or fish. Thursday night is meze and wine night. Kostas introduces each of the wines, speaking of them knowledgably. Each wine is served with a suitable dish to complement it. The hotel is occupied mainly by return visitors who come time and time again, which speaks volumes of this wonderful place to relax and wind down. Went with my boyfriend and my family and it was really diverse for age ranges. Food was nice and had a lot of variety. Rooms were nice. All the pools were lovely and it was a perfect complex. Only negatives, the bed was 2 singles which meant we kept slipping down the middle. The entertainment was not great which is a shame because we usually love TUI entertainment (however we found out that the season started the day we left and it improved massively). A huge positive was the list of cocktails included on the menu as often there aren’t many. Also, Denise the bar tender was amazing absolutely lovely girl and she was the best at making the drinks. Get to her if you can! The restaurants were nice. The green and grill was great, the soup, salad, and chicken was amazing. The baked Alaska however was very very strong with alcohol which was not particularly nice. The taverna was interesting, the starters were very exotic (I’ve never had Greek before) but the mains were delightful we all had different so tried all 3 and I can say all were brilliant. Overall, I would absolutely go here again it was a great atmosphere and great for any age group :)

Certainly not 5 star that's for sure, not certain who allocated this rating!? We're in room 3122 which was right at the top of the hill next to the bins & skips so the stench was unbelievable in the heat! Was meant to have an inland view but with 5ft walls surrounding the patio it was more prison yard! The sink in the bathroom was loose & water pressure was shocking. The toilet was constantly trickling water and the shower head looked like it was purchased from some budget shop! I called right away asking to pay to upgrade or move room but was told we had to wait 4 days & could move into the same type room! Food was pleasant in main restaurant & both a la carte restaurants albeit the main restaurant was very much like school dinner time! Location wise it's brilliant with Elounda well worth a visit. Beach bar nice but drinks not part of all inclusive which seems a con! 'Main bar' which must have been reception once has no atmosphere at all... Pools are a nice temperature & TUI staff all very good, but be warned, it's bed wars at the main pool...if you're not in the queue by 0730 forget getting a bed & the hotel doesn't care. Don't think we'll come back, although will definitely come back to Elounda.....

The Asian night was by far my favourite! Drinks were really good too! A bit on the strong side but no complaints here. We didn't watch any of the entertainment, as we spent most of our nights at bar’s outside seating playing card games and drinking! It was a lovely atmosphere and had music on in the background. We also did the trip to Spinalonga which was amazing! We went into town and got tickets directly from one of the local boat trips. The resort boasts an amazing view of the bay, and we were really impressed with the variety of pools available. We stayed here for 4 nights and wish we had more! The beach right outside of the hotel is just amazing. The water is crystal clear and so calm. The property is within walking distance of everything. The room (studio) was absolutely great and much bigger than we expected… truly it was like a one bedroom. We had a balcony that overlooked the beach and the main strip which allowed us to watch the sunsets and see all the bustling life! Noise wasn’t an issue for us. The AC was cool and powerful even in the 95+ heat. The property had an elevator to help get your luggage up to your room. 100% would recommend!!

During my stay in Crete for a week, we were well looked after, specifically, by the front desk lady, Joanna, who would give us information on Crete, where to go and would make sure our stay was a worthy and comfortable one. Kind-hearted, lovely and genuine Joanna is, we could not thank her enough for her services. Other members of staff was very nice too, and would try conversation despite their English not being as great. Still, we appreciated the attempt. The cleaning of the apartments would be done every day at a specific time, and would be done extremely well. Sheets being changed, floor being mopped, windows being cleaned all was a part of the lovely service we received. When I return to Crete, I will stay here once more!
