At check in, Barbara made us feel so welcome from the minute we walked in the door, her service was impeccable, she even took the time to show us directly to our room and discuss the amenities. Our food here was amazing we had the steak sandwich and Mongolian beef at dinner (10/10). We were served by Laura and Valerie, both of whom were extremely attentive and friendly and were more than happy to answer any questions we had about the menus. The accommodation was lovely, we had everything we needed, very clean and spacious and was so handy to get to Kildare’s shopping village. Would definitely stay here again if I was staying in Kildare.

The food was nice. We got the Prawns to start and the Steak. The mimosas were not great at all. Tasted like really cheap Prosecco. However the service was absolutely shocking. The staff could not have been less interested, took forever to get any of their attention as they would only work around the front of the restaurant. Lovely food, attentive staff, reasonable prices. We stopped by for a late lunch on a Sunday leading up to Christmas. The place was packed. I'm not sure what they are usually like but I guess it is always busy. The food came as quickly as it could given that it all seemed freshly prepared. Everything had it's own unique flavours and the presentation and quality were both excellent, which is difficult when you are that busy. Even though it was very busy there was no rush to get us out the door. The staff were simply attentive without being intrusive and were there if needed. One thing I wasn't very keen on was the duck pancake roll being grilled after being assembled. It made the pancake dryer than I like it. I think if you steam pancakes then leaving them moist is key. However, that is my personal preference, not a fault. The actual pancake/duck/veg mixture with just the right amount of sauce was still lovely. A very enjoyable visit and one that I would repeat without hesitation. Note:** The online menu for the Dublin Saba is not the same in all respects as the Kildare version so beware and make sure you look at the right version if you look online.
