Unfortunately when we arrived this evening there was a VERY loud party of 6 in the restaurant which wasn’t a great start! We ordered our food from a very pleasant and attentive young man. My husband’s starter along with my own was garlic mushrooms. I found the sauce to taste a little bland and almost “watered down”. Our main courses (2 pasta dishes) were extremely salty. So much so that I only ate a few forkfuls and my husband left mussels behind!!…..not at all normal for him! Even my children commented on the chips with their meals being salted quite a bit. My husband was particularly disappointed as we don’t tend to eat out as a family that often so it was unfortunate. On a positive note, the staff we encountered couldn’t have been nicer and extremely apologetic when we mentioned how salty the food was. Our bill was reduced by the cost of my main course by way of apology. We did leave a tip in the end purely for the young man who served us. I would certainly value him as an employee if I were the proprietor.

Thick soup was definitely thick and so was I, the more the evening went on. One of the starters of spring rolls were still frozen in the centre. Now you know it's never made on site just bought in Frozen. I ordered Fillet steak and it smelled Ok. That's where it ended. I wish there were more options as my husband is muslim and if we were to come there wouldn't be a lot of options for him to eat. Also few options for kids would be beneficial. We have seen only kid pancakes on the menu. Half a portion of porridge could be just perfect for kiddos ( we ordered am adult version and had to leave quite some as he wasn't capable of finishing the meal all together). Even tho it is stated that there could be no customisation to full irish it would be better if there is some since mot everyone likes everything and this way you have a waste of food. The produce on both plates were fresh, well seasoned and dishes were served on hot plates which kept the food warm for longer, and it was nicely presented. Staff was nice and friendly. Not sure if I would be back for breakfast simply because few options are available but would definitely like to come for brunch/lunch as we had a really nice time. Coffee (cappuccino with hazelnut shot and mocha with plant base milk) were really nice.

I ordered a family meal for 30euro 2 nights ago. My 4 Daughters were sitting down eating the pizza when one of my daughters started choking in front of me. I got her into the bathroom and after what seemed like a lifetime she coughed up a long narrow bone it actually broke while taking it out of her mouth. She managed to pull out half the bone and got sick and got the rest of the bone out into the toilet. I rang Apache pizza and told them what had happened and they told me they will send out another pizza. I told them I didn't want another pizza as we were completely turned off our meal and there was no way any of us was going to sit down to another pizza after our daughter choking and vomiting in front of us. I told them I would like my money back. They told me no they don't give refunds they would send another pizza and kept insisting on sending another pizza. I told him to come out and collect the food including the bone that I won't be accepting another pizza eventually he replied with we will give you 20% off your next meal!! Point blank refused to refund me my money and collect the barely eaten meal. I got nowhere with them. My Daughter wrote a complaint to the manager in the store which was ignored so she decided to call in. Again they argued with her for over a half hour saying they don't do refunds and we're extremely rude. It was only when my daughter said she was going to take it further that they whipped out half the price of the meal which was 15euro and threw it on the counter. They tried to say none of there food on the menu has bones in it which is not true. There attitude is absolutly appalling. I will include a picture of the piece of bone that she managed to pull out of her mouth before she threw up the rest. I don't know if it was a chicken bone or a fish bone. I would never have left this bad review if they didn't have such a bad attitude. Absolutely disgusting we will never order again!!! Plenty of nice places to eat in tullamore guys give this place a miss🤢🤢 Safe to Say we are turned off pizza for life 🤢🫣

We got a single footlong BMT sandwich, toasted with 3 total toppings and every step of the way, she was either chatting with the man who was standing in our way to the register and dressing station or she was giving us disgusted rude side eyes and huffs and sneers. The transaction ended with her snatching my note and then literally dropping my change into my hand. And with her last mean sneer, she turned on her heels to speed away from us to chat up the man again. Thankfully we were looking at her the whole time she was making our order, I'm positive that she would've spat into our sandwich if we weren't. The treatment was so unprovoked and intense that my friend and I were eager to leave the shop and we are astonished at how our visit to subway for a simple sandwich went. We had both wordlessly decided that we'd rather walk back into town in the cold to go to another shop to get drinks, sides, and treats for our sandwich rather than buying them from the subway as she made the environment so unwelcoming and honestly threatening. I sincerely hope the attitude and hatefulness gets checked or that someone loses their job.
