When I pay almost 70 dollars for food yeah I want all my food. Then on my recept it had just prices and all of them said custom amount so I have no idea what I paid for or how much each item was. So on top of that I Def feel like I also over paid. I won't order here again, only reason I did cause el Toro Loco was closed. Lesson learned. The chicken was cold and the bun was hard. But hey, on a side note you get to add your own pickles, lettuce, tomatoes and onions. I saw a manager maintaining the restaurant but never visiting tables talking to the customers. I'll definitely be skipping this dive next time I'm in the area. And before writing this review I tried both locations and metros twice, the cold brew was overly sweet and the latte I got was very watery and weak I couldn't drink it.

They have an option for a grilled cheese and soup, and when I asked if they could substitute another side instead of soup, they were unhelpful. They said they could only ring up items individually because they weren’t the owner. The prices on the menu were not listed which was frustrating. We spent over $100 for our family. The food was good, but it was not worth the hefty price tag. The meals do not come with drinks despite being almost $14. Water is not free either, even if you order food. It is a very cute shop, but it is not family friendly. It felt like my kids were an annoyance to the staff when we brought them in. I forgot to click the button for a receipt when I checked out, so when my husband went back to the register to ask for a receipt, the person that checked me out became more annoyed and said I should have asked for that earlier. They were far kinder and more helpful to the people that came after us that did not have kids. So if you don’t have kids, you’ll probably be more welcome. If you do have kids, I do not recommend. The food is not exceptional for the price point.

After I placed my order for pickup at the Domino's here in Metropolis, it was ready within the time frame as indicated on the App. The guy inside the store was very friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. He attempted to address me by name, but he accidentally called me "Robert" instead of Ronald. I told him that he was close because my brother's name is Robert and we laughed about it. He quickly processed my payment since I chose to pay at the store instead of the App. He even asked if I needed paper plates and napkins, and he gave me both. I opened the box at the store to check the pizza, and it looked perfect. Once I got home I dove right in, and the pizza tasted just as good as it looked! I got pepperoni and beef as my toppings. I chose the garlic parmesan sauce instead of marinara sauce since the garlic parmesan is my favorite pizza sauce. Domino's garlic parmesan sauce is nearly as tasty as Pizza Hut's, but I prefer the Hut's sauce flavoring slightly more. I have included a photo of the pizza so you can see how the crust is nicely baked and uniform around the edges, and the toppings, for the most part, are nicely distributed on the top. I am extremely pleased with this experience, but the Hut is my favorite and Domino's will always be the occasional fling! Lol!!

Honestly, I didn't have high hopes but it was really good! We shared a cheese steak sandwich and it was more than enough for two as a light lunch. The owner is a really nice guy and seems like he could be head chef in a much larger restaurant. They are only open for lunch but they also serve free meals for the homeless on the days that they are closed to the public. I can't think of a better way to give back to the community and live a "normal" life in the restaurant business. Definitely a good place to stop for lunch if you are in town!
