Great sweet and savory breakfast options for meat lovers ad veggies alike. The menu is edgy without alienating your grandparents, if they were to join you. My family and I tried a new cafe as we were passing through. The art work and overall decor was splendid. Whisk'D Cafe has a relaxed and cozy atmosphere as well as great staff and quick service. Our family tried the loaded potatoes, eggs, and waffles which were quite tasty. Overall our experience was great. My only negative comment would be towards the prices. Most of the food is reasonable priced but a few items on the menu are a little high priced. We order an 8 oz. chocolate milk that cost $3 and one waffle cost $7. Small items like so, I feel should be reduced.

Googled online menu is OLD and is no-longer correct (see pictures for current menu). However, cozy atmosphere with shared tables. The decor is awesome. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you. We ordered the smothered chicken and waffle, loaded potatoes, Decatur omelet, and an extra plain waffle. Everything was excellent. I was a little miffed at the prices until I saw they support local farmers. And even so, did I mention the food was phenomenal? Because it was.

So I live close by. An wanted steak an eggs before work. I come here an I always get same drink coffee with a bowl of sugar since im that person. I always ask that my eggs are well extra extra well done. I have food aversions. Im a high functioning autistic an its already hard eating out as it is. Like this is crazy am whats worse shes a 5 star I believe I have never had this bad service I still tipped 20plus percent cause I know from a servers stand point shes got bills same as I but this is ridiculous. I was a one top an thats probably y or she was having an off day I barely eat my food the eggs killed me sadly but pls when someone aske a preference see its made you dont know what good aversions some have.

I can always go for a Cracker Barrel because it’s never a bad experience… until this one.
In the aftermath of the food, I dropped its rating… it would have been a 3 or 4 otherwise. It tasted fine, but I’m paying for it the day after. My feet have gotten tingling from sitting so long.
The server tried, but service was slow and they weren’t swamped. She couldn’t get the tickets straight.
I feel like management played a huge part in this. The manager rang up my order and was unprofessional, to the point of closing the register with her foot. She kept blaming “the system” for all of the trouble, but the trouble happened way before the register.

We went to the Decatur Cracker Barrel for dinner. The food was good. The service was okay. We had to ask for sauces and drinks. The country fried steak came out with country gravy after asking for brown gravy. The steak did get corrected. Not complaining just giving an honest experience. The one complaint my husband did have was the few of us that were in the restaurant they sat us on top of each other while the rest of the room was pretty empty.

I’m extremely disappointed with how far this location has gone downhill. Lately, there’s hardly ever enough staff, and my food is consistently cold and undercooked. It’s unacceptable, especially considering how great the service used to be.

Usually I love Chik fil a service. But this morning I went through the drive through, paid for my order, they had pull up because of a biscuit that needed pepper jack. I pulled up with three cars behind me, each car paid for their food, and went on by their day. Lately they have served overcooked chicken, are missing items in my bag, and when mention that this issue keep happening, no apology, no nothing. I am now that person that stays put, takes an extra 10 seconds to check the bag before I leave. Food flavor was decent, I had the soup and my wife got a sandwich. The portion size is pretty small. We were going to each share with the other. The soup was Loaded Potatoe in the Bread Bowl and their were 4 spoon fulls and that was all... The sandwich was the Roasted Turkey, Avacado BLT Whole. This was more bread than anything and I just finished my soup and bread and left my wife to her lunch bread. She said that it was tasty but she had to hunt down and add mayo to the sandwich to make the flavor for her... I also tried the Iced Caffee Mocha, zero complaints their... flavor size etc, it was a fantastic espresso drink!

There's never a bad day at Panera, especially during the winter when the squash soup is on the menu! The "pick two" menu option is always my favorite as I can get one of the great soups + the Fuji apple salad, which I love. My lunch date got the wild rice "soup" which was thick enough to be a stew. It surprised her, but she said it tasted great.
The restaurant was really clean, the service was super prompt, and we had a very enjoyable lunch. In fact, we chatted so long that I got hungry again and went back for the pecan pastry which was like a decadent Pop Tart, LOL! Definitely getting that again.

After doing so, I received an email from a rep seemingly trying to make it right by offering a replacement and a coupon for something. Not sure what goes on here in the mornings that makes this Jack's hit and miss, but it's good sometimes and bad others. I mostly get breakfast here; the sausage, eggs, biscuit, gravy and grits (which I always replace the grits for another egg.).
Most of the time the food is good, but other times it tastes funny, and makes me feel slightly weird afterwards. Specifically the gravy.
Many times my order isn't correct; where they don't swap the grits for another egg.
But this morning I received a plate that (combined with previous "what happened to that?" experiences.) makes me question going back. This morning my plate has a piece of sausage in it that looked like either an employee (I'm hoping.) got hungry and ate part of it, or a rat got a hold of it.
Either way I'm not happy about it, and too many questions are going on in my mind to return.

Oh my goodness! This was the WORST experience I have ever had at a McDonald’s ANYWHERE. My family drove down from NC to visit my husband’s uncle. We were exhausted and just wanted to grab something and get to the hotel. We placed our order in the drive-thru and when we got to the window, we were asked to pull up to wait for our order to be brought out. Ok that’s not uncommon. 5 minutes passed. 10 minutes passed. 15 minutes passed. Our patience was diminishing by the second. There was an athletic team in the dining room so we figured maybe they were short staffed and really busy. At the 30 minute mark, my husband went in. They told him the forgot to bring it out! Smh They were apologetic but SERIOUSLY?!!
Oh but it gets better! We dragged our tired selves to the hotel and got settled in our rooms. I’m tired and hungry so I’m happy to just relax. I take a couple of bites of the burger. I don’t know what made me look at the burger, but when I did, I saw pink! 🤢
I’m appalled and utterly disgusted! Be warned. The negative reviews are true! I’m not eating at any McDonald’s in Alabama ever again!

If I could give it zero stars I would. We ordered a few pies and cookies. Waited in the drive thru for 20 mins. Which was fine. Then got pulled forward bc they had to cook the pies. She took our entire order after seven minutes. She then proceeded to walk away to stand on the other side of the restaurant. Idk if its that way at all times of day or if I just hit th 'wrong' time to go bye there. It's located just right off the big road and traffic is everywhere!! Personally when I got off ramp saw nothing but vehicles everywhere, then noticed KRYSTALS [ Which happened to be the OnlY reason I was getting off there to begin with] is close to being directly to your left once u come off the ramp.. While they are open, they offer a great selection of coffee and snacks in a spacious location in downtown Decatur.

Stopped in for a pick-me-up for the short drive back to Huntsville earlier this week. Work takes me to Decatur from time to time and I'll definitely be back!
This is a cute little coffee shop / gift shop type of place in downtown Decatur. Being that it's downtown, parking is a little bit of a hassle. I didn't have a hard time finding a spot midday on a Wednesday, but be careful backing out as you're backing right into the street.
Inside, the shop is spacious and decorated nicely. It felt airy and peaceful and I could easily see myself catching up with a friend or reading or something. They have a midsize coffee menu, serve Piper and Leaf tea, and have some typical coffeeshop snacks (pastries, etc). One nice feature is a fridge with take and bake type meals and appetizers. That can prove really useful in a pinch!
Service was extra nice here: welcoming smiles, patient with questions, and working efficiently. I appreciated that you can actually order a small iced coffee here. Many places only do iced in medium or large portion sizes. The small was just enough to perk me up for the ride home, but not so much I'd have to stop for a restroom, lol.
I ordered an iced peppermint mocha as that's pretty much my favorite coffee drink of all time. This one was a good one! Not too strong on the peppermint and a discernible - maybe even stronger than average - chocolatey taste. Like a liquid thin mint! :)
I enjoyed my drink on my drive home and look forward to returning for more next time I find myself in the area.

This is the cutest and best coffee AND tea shop I've seen in a long time. The atmosphere is wide, open, and super chill. There is a rustic trendy feel to the decor and set up. I came in and ordered a chicken sandwich combo for work. I usually don't have problems with my food here, but I'm legit upset right now. The chicken is so dry and cold, and the fries are cold with no seasoning. I just wasted 9.00 on food I can't even eat. 230 in the afternoon on Thursday, drive through cashier puts me on hold and completely forgets the drive through exists because it isnt beeping. At least 7 cars lined up. 5 leave before i pull up to the window. Tried talking to the speaker to no avail. When i get to the window and tell her there are people lined up and leaving she says it didnt beep. I said its 230 and the drive through didnt just stop so i was refused service and told to leave. We could hear the cashier screaming at other employees through the drive through so the speaker was certainly working. Inability to operate the speaker leads into questions of training by the general manager, and questions of sanitary proceedures we cant see. The general manager was on duty during this fiasco and didnt find it odd that no drive through orders were being taken. What we can see here is glaring and a district manager should be involved by now. I see a public health disaster on the way.

Usually love this location, but tonight was a bit different. I don't know her name (but was working around 6:30pm, on 09/05/25), but the lady working the drive-thru/window was very rule. Not so much what she said; while taking our order it was obvious she had an attitude, and then charged us for (then neglected to add "ANY" condiments.). The atmosphere is currently not what I love. Target ripped out the cafe when they started the drive up order service. This is a corporate decision and can't really be helped. I'm sure they will get an upgrade like the Huntsville locations did. For now it's a great grab and go location.
The food and service here are absolutely wonderful. The crew is so creative and they will fix you some of the most delightful drinks. Even if it sounds completely crazy give their concoctions a chance.

McD is one of my favorite places to stop when traveling. One of my "go to" meals is the 2 cheeseburger meal. It's easy to eat in the car. I also enjoy the Quarter Pounder meal. If I have time to eat in, then I might change it up for a Big Mac. Food is decent and service is pretty good. The menu has a pretty good selection so maybe my four stars will go to five as I try some more items and see how the service is on future visits. I like that they have two drive thru menus where you can give orders to keep from getting stuck behind that one person that takes forever if you are in a hurry. Another big plus is it is true dual drive through. It stays two lanes instead of both merging back to one and they bring your food out to you and run your card in the second lane, pretty impressive.

I ordered a jalapeño whataburger meal with a Dr. Pepper with no ice and a banana pudding shake. The burger was supposed to come with two patties, two slices of cheese and jalapeños. She saw me and said, “oh I forgot.” I work in the food industry. I was never rude to them but they were all rude to me. I hate that place.

My order was to eat in they gave it to me in a bag . I suppose all the trays were dirty. This was about 2:30 pm. I was the only person in the lobby at the time besides a guy who appears to have access to permanent refills from across the street.

Stopped here for dinner while visiting family, what a great crew! The issue I have with this store is upper management. I have been in the food service industry for years, over 30, and have never heard anything so ridiculous in all my life “we say yes”, that’s what I heard the manager tell an employee? Really? That’s the culture you are building in your restaurants? I heard them explain that it came from corporate that “we say yes” to our guests at all times! I’ve never heard anything so stupid, whatever person in the corporate office came up with this should be fired, immediately. You can’t and won’t , build a team that will protect your brand if customers are allowed to get whatever they want, when they want, why would an employee try? I heard them explain they can’t even ask for a receipt to prove something was missing. My mind went instantly to “I’m never paying for anything at jacks again, just going to tell them my order was messed up and without seeing a receipt they will give me dinner for free!” I like jacks but mark my words, this will be the end of Jacks, so sad.

I always have the most pleasant experience with the manager. That opens up at the store. She, as well as her staff, are very professional end kind. She's very knowledgeable as I always have questions about different shrinks or foods that's being promoted. She's always able to answer them without hesitation. I have never ever had a type of greeting from any other place I visited like the one that I get when I come to dunkin' in the morning.The manager name is Denise Walton guys, if you ever had a bad experience at any other chains, the one on sixth street indicator will change your experience i have never had anything go wrong but I have seen this manager handle customers that was unsatisfied. She handles every situation with care and compassion. I've been going to this location for a while, and I observed every encounter to see if anything would change.
She has been very consistent with doing her best to improve the quality and the satisfaction representing this company. You can tell by her work ethic that she really enjoys her job. I will always return as long as she's there and always refer other people as long as she's there. I ordered a large iced vanilla with 2 pumps of carmal 1 pump of vanilla bean and sweet cold foam and the picture is what I got n the order reference i’ve always used🤦🏻♀️ I get this order just about every time I go and have never had a problem till today when they didn’t wanna make it !!! AmaZing coffee and fresh donuts I missed having a dunks and this one doesn't disappoint they are loving in nature customer and the kindness shows ! Don't hesitate to give them a go !
Updated after more visits . The a.m. crew is fantastic the afternoon crew however is not the same and customer service is not the same nor does it seem present . We got whole ice pieces in our drink literal whole ice pieces the girl took the ice I put on a napkin to show her and threw it out and got mad at me like it was my fault so I took pictures and then threw it out she did end up refunding me for it but I wanted the coffee drink I ordered, I just wanted to be able to drink it . It started pouring outside and I had to go back in there just to let them know it wasn't drinkable and I needed it fixed I wasn't rude I just wanted help and for an almost $6 drink to be able to drink it or at least someone behind the counter to care and remake it would have been amazing I have worked in various places and customer service is always a must . Adding pics below . I will also add Jason the name on the receipt was not who served me it was two girls .

The coffee on the left is good but the coffee to my right was made wrong and got charged for an expresso shot when I told them no. It’s June 29, 2024 at 8:32 am and the workers there were acting raunchy and ignorant. My pregnant best friend is DEATHLY allergic to nuts and they put almond milk in her iced coffee. Staying in town for a few days and I’ve had to search for breakfast options. I passed on this Dunkin’ because the last time I was there the service wasn’t great. I thought I’d give them another try this morning and I am glad I did. Not only were the workers friendly and courteous but also my food was fresh. As I drove away I saw they had an “under new management” sign posted.
