As an out of town visitor I had been there before and had great food and great service. What a total disappointment this experience was. I didn’t have a reservation, so was seated at the ‘last stop before the loos’ table even though there were only about 55% of the tables filled throughout my time there. All three versions were just awful. This cafe has the best location in Blenheim. Haven't been to this cafe in a little while, and we heard that they had changed hands recently. I loved the curry flavor to it, but the pastry was slightly undercooked on the bottom but still ok. One other thing I could suggest is that instead of serving the chutney in a plastic container, just add to the plate or put it in a little white plate to make the dish look more presentable.
