After living in the desert for the past couple of months, we've been far away from good ice cream et al. And Gelato wasn't even a consideration! I have actually tried their other location a few years back. Over all it is a cool place, nice ambiance, a nice place to chill for a few. I like that everything is made daily in house. We tried the coffee cake and the vegan Cookie. They were good but I can not say they were amazing. I've heard good things about this low-key roastery in Culver City. All I got now is Cafe Ten. Just like Bar Nine, Ten is tucked away in a quiet area without tons of foot traffic. Being a first timer might make it bit tricky to find though as it's kinda invisible by the road side. If you planned to come later in the day, just be mindful that they might run out of most pastries already but worry not about the drinks. I was quite lucky getting the last pieces of their Pain Au Choc and Almond Financier, which were both decent, served warm as the barista offered to reheat them before serving :) Got their Iced Maple Walnut Latte and Hot Vanilla Latte. Most importantly, the food is really bad. The eggs were very overcooked, and the bacon is clearly either extremely cheap or old - I couldn't finish. The bathroom is really gross for a restaurant. The staff was friendly and I'd give 2 stars but I actually got sick shortly after eating here (had nothing else to eat that day). Again, these folks here are very friendly but they've got some really odd plating, food, and vibe going on. I'd seriously just get McDonalds breakfast if your choices are slim.

Visited this past Sunday and it was absolutely packed. There was a long line right when I arrived with standing room only to wait for the order which took about 10 minutes. There are some small tables inside, but most people either choose take out or sit on one of the outdoor tables. For this most recent visit, I chose a breakfast bagel and really liked it. I went with the Chorizo Avocado Sunrise and thought it was really good. The chorizo was well balanced, and had the perfect level of spice to it and the eggs are cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, there were out of the Everything Bagel, but the bagel it came on was also very crunchy and tasty. I love how efficient this place is in the morning and they really do have a lot of good options on the menu so I would recommend to any bagel fan and will be back in again soon.

It’s one of the better & more reliable places to get a good latte on the westside these days, AND they have Califia oat milk which is the clincher. The people are also great (I’ve been following the company since before they came to this spot), and the location is dreamy. It’s a cute little cart integrated into a gorgeous garden center, and they’ve worked together to open up a shaded seating area, so you can either sit amongst the trees or walk around all the other plants and flowers. Protip, there is also a lot of seating integrated into the garden center itself. Cannot recommend more highly enough for a quick latte, a GREAT latte, a casual romantic date, or for just a quick stroll.
