They were busy but only at the start of the evening. Our starters took over half an hour to come. They were mixed quality. The mains were not delivered much quicker. The buffet breakfast is continental, all cooked items have to be ordered from the kitchen so take a little longer if you're in a rush. The Thai Green Vegetable Curry is vegan and was nice. We purchased it with an offer, however it's usually £11.59 which would be a little expensive for what it is. Lemon and Raspberry Semifreddo is also vegan and delicious. On Thursday we arrived at 7pm to be told they wern't taking "walk-ins" (we went elsewhere). Overall it's a good size pub with parking and a nice atmosphere but we'll go somewhere else more reliable next time.

The staff were very welcoming for our big party of people (ranging in ages from 8 years old to 70+ years) and the staff accommodated all of our needs kindly. So I've eventually ate here & I'm pleasantly surprised, for a £5 it's definitely value for money, I got cheeseburger & chips for my Maine, the chips were definitely frozen chips, but the burger was really good & of good quality & a decent size, I got the cinnamon bun Sundae & that was nice aswell, for £7:50 for both, definitely can't complain & would definitely return, once inside the restaurant it's spotless clean & the staff were really friendly & helpful.

Was shown to our table straight away without any wait. The decor is outstanding. A lot of thought has went into the restaurant. Looks very plus and upmarket. Certainly doesn’t look like a budget restaurant. The food is good but not outstanding but far exceeds the price point. A wide variety of food on offer. On the weekend a chef is on hand offering tapas, cooked right in front of you. Steak, king prawns, squid etc. the chef is very pleasant. The restaurant is exceptionally clean. Staff are constantly collecting empty plates and wiping down tables. The staff our lovely, friendly and well presented. All smiling that makes the place feel more welcoming. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a simple, affordable dining experience.

Lunchtime is cheaper so definitely worth it and you’re getting a wee bargain. Only criticism is the staff pack everyone in one corner next to the loos and I was sat beside a screaming baby the full time which was extremely annoying at times! I came out for peace and quiet with my wife and managed to get some free time away from our kids last thing I want is to listen to others. I think couples should be seated differently from families so it can be a more enjoyable experience all round.

A queue but was served really fast and all the food is cooked to order. I had a large fish supper and the chips were golden perfect and the fish. Angel cut haddock. Had the family down for a late Christmas diner and decided to get a Chinese carry out instead of cooking Ordered up four meals from the Ocean Sun in Kilmarnock. Our order was ready when we called in for it and the staff were pleasant serving it. Arrived home and dished it out. The aroma made my mouth water and the taste was amazing. There was loads to eat so it meant that our tea was sorted out for the next night. Would recommend this to all as would my daughter who says it is better than hers in Barrhead which is good.

If I were to get it again I would get a double patty. Made to order, so was fresh and hot. My boyfriend's order was incorrect, just scraped the cheese off though instead of returning it. Milkshakes tasted like ice cream blended with milk and flavored syrup with both sugar and sweeteners. The staff were pure nice, I bet they get a lot of people going for nostalgia. Table service seemed to be standard, but they no longer serve food on plates like they did when I was a kid 🤣
