I chose to visit 2Georges based on the crab cake photos in the reviews. We were not disappointed! We both ordered the same thing which is unusual, and we both loved it. Our party of four started with the escargot, the calamari special appetizer which included olives sun-dried tomatoes and banana peppers over a bed of greens. Outstanding and unusual. The special scallop appetizer which was excellent, perfectly sauteed, and the fresh ceviche which was light delicious and refreshing. The fresh baked bread made for a wonderful sponge to soak up the delicious garlicky escargot butter. An excellent round of appetizers. We also got to watch Space X recover one of it's boosters off the barge and crane it onto the pier for its next mission. Burnt wings and the “boneless wings” was a chopped chicken tender tossed in sauce. This was what we opened. This is the 5 piece boneless wings. WHAT?! I work in nursing homes and we get better food there. Many at our table know and have experience in the service industry, and know how hard it can be so we give a lot of grace but this was SO unacceptable for an evening that wasn’t busy at all. There were maybe 2-3 tables inside with guests and maybe 10 outside with guests… 3-4 by the time we left. For a place this size, it wasn’t busy. What a waste of a nice property. Please give it the attention it deserves, train your team, and give more attention to how a kitchen line should run.

Friendly, helpful staff as well. We ate dinner and breakfast and both we stellar, food was hot and fresh! Had chicken tenders with onion rings (which were totally worth the upgrade) with pretzels with beer cheese (pretzels came really hot), it was enough for two to share. We visited for dinner and were sat in the bar area. Our servers name was Orlando, and was the bartender. My party doesn’t drink, so we didn’t order cocktails which set the mood with a bartender. Orlando became short and rude the rest of the experience. We had questions about some of the offerings and he wouldn’t answer our questions or just snapped at us with a sarcastic response. He also never visited our table again after our order. We had to as the food runner for help because Orlando was disinterested in helping. When we finally got the bill, which we had to ask the runner for, he slowly came to our table, about 10 mins after we asked for the bill. He then proceeded to take his time checking us out, maybe another 5 mins, and he wasn’t doing anything, just didn’t feel like helping. He automatically added gratuity, so we were left with giving him 18% even though he deserved little. We were a party of three as well, so we know the tip was added because he knew he deserved nothing. Orlando was the worse server I’ve had, and poor reflection of the restaurant. If Orlando is your server or bartender, ask for someone else or just leave. The food was fine as well. We visited on11/9 after 630.

It’s kinda close to the line) anyway.. we’ve been there a handful of times and every single time it’s a fantastic experience. We usually go early in the afternoon. Amy is always there and she is just the sweetest! She’s completely awesome, entertaining, friendly, fast, efficient & she can work a bar! We usually just go for a beer or two but today we were a bit hungry so we both ordered the “veggie burger” they use the Beyond burger and it comes on this giant bun that they dry toast beautifully and they pack it with lettuce, tomato, onion & shredded lettuce. This burger is seriously amazing, AND can you see the crunch on these fries?! They’re perfect!!!! I was super happy when I saw a plant based option on the menu and super stoked when I got a beyond burger! (They’re my favorite) the prices were more than fair, the service is awesome and the place has good ambience. It’s a little divey, but kinda upscale divey if that makes sense. Hands down winner in my book!
