The dish got was the chicken gorgonzola, the flavors were great but I needed to borrow a steak knife to cut the chicken it was overcooked. The almond crusted grouper was also overcooked and very dry. The gorgonzola ribeye was served to two people and they were completely different sizes/pieces of meat. These were cooked closer to the ask but we're still overdone. The environment is fun, the drinks are good and they have good bourbon options but not the best place for food.

There’s many places that don’t get the pulled pork right but this place definitely gets it! The pulled pork is not too dry neither too wet, so you will not have issues with the bread soaking and getting soggy. Portion sizes are generous, you get your bucks worth. The fish bites were so fresh and the breading very light so the Red Snapper is still the star of the show. The grilled Caesar was on par with what I’ve had elsewhere with the exception of the dressing. It sets it apart and better than what I’ve experienced before. To finish, we did the crème brule. The actual crème was phenomenal. They added too much sugar to the top and didn’t really crisp it as much as I’d like. Again, the flavor made up for the abundance of sugar. I will be making return trips here and can tell you with certainty…it is worth the experience and you should check it out. Finally, take the time to just go upstairs to have a drink. The atmosphere upstairs is beyond anything I would expect to find at the beach. We’ve been to the Port Orange location and this one is just as amazing! We love it and this is the first time bringing the family! My wife has Celiac and they are very attentive and have a dedicated fryer and an extensive gluten free menu!! Burgers were great! Seafood platter was great! Shrimp scampi and fish dip was amazing and the peanut butter pie was PHENOMENAL! We will be back for sure!!!

We explained that we couldn’t take our catches home with us due to us having to fly back the next day, but still wanted to eat it. This restaurant offers a “hook & cook” meal that comes with two sides. They closed at 3pm, and we arrived after 2pm unsure if they’d be willing to take us. They welcomed us with open arms and a kindness like no other. They took our king fish steaks and deboned them and filleted them. My girlfriend immediately said they were over boiled which is what is done when they won’t open. Sure enough there were 4 unopened dead mussels at the bottom of the plate. We then ordered their famous sticky ribs. The first one I bit into was cold and the second one warmer and so on. Very clearly reheated in a microwave causing hotspots. Finally, gluttons for punishment we ordered the porterhouse pork chop. She asked us what temp we wanted it which is weird for pork. She said “medium ok?” We said ok. When we cut into it it was raw. We couldn’t chance eating it. She then came over and said “you’re not satisfied with this either when she saw me taking pics of it. We said we were not willing to chance getting sick. So she said they would cook it more. 5 minutes later it was back and still raw. This restaurant is really playing with fire serving old mussels and raw pork to people. I don’t know how they haven’t killed anyone but after I really searched the reviews I saw someone write that they were sick for days. The waitress took the pork chop off the bill but it was still a complete waste of $70. The myriad of 5 star reviews are bought and payed for in my opinion. Stay away!!!

One I'd gladly visit again, likely many times. There's just one little issue and that's the Volusia County Sheriff. If you're driving a rental with out of state tags, they're going to see you as their ticket to prosperity. You'd best not sneeze or they'll be on you like stink on trash. So, while I'd love to visit this area again, my latest experience means my future tourism dollars will go to a more welcoming community than NSB. One Sheriff with way too much self-importance is more than enough for me. His $160 ticket will cost this community the future thousands of dollars my family would have otherwise spent in the area. Really a poor tactical approach, but I suspect they just don't care.

The drink menu is extensive with everything from seltzers to cordials, so I doubt you'd have trouble finding the perfect drink. Overall, I'm very glad I came here last minute, what was going to be a regular dinner wound up being a very high energy meal.
